It really depends on how much time is spent on non-Ash battles, specifically the 1st rounds. (If it was mainly him, I would've thought maybe 7-8 episodes. I'm giving an extra 1-2 to be on the safe side, but I expect it done around September) If his first is like Alain or Lance, I can see that being squeezed to one episode. Cynthia? That's a 2-parter or fans riot. xD
But the matches will be 3v3 based on Kibana ep :D It was a match following Master Rank rulesets. If they spend time TALKING for like, half the ep, then sure, multiple eps. But we've only had vs Saito be two-parter of the 3v3 matches? Or am I forgetting something regarding Denji/Volkner lol.

BACKSTORY:
Born in Oahu, Hawaii as the second child of a marine biologist named Jiro and a spa owner named Cynthia. Siblings are his brother Callum (23) and sister Jocelyn (20).
From a young age, his father instilled an interest for marine life in he and his siblings by taking them to tide pools and teaching them about the creatures that resided there. As the children aged, the boys found themselves venturing deeper into the water, taking up surfing lessons.
What started as a fun hobby that the brothers could bond over turned into a full blown sibling rivalry, one that Joel never seemed to have the upper hand on.
By all accounts, Joel was a talented surfer but never talented enough to place in any competitions. He’d laugh it off or offer a convincing “I’ll beat your ass next time” to his brother but years of taunting and poking and prodding at his inadequacy wore on him. Eventually he just stopped trying to be good at anything?
Easily distracted and disinterested in anything he wasn’t close to obsessed with, school never came easy to him. So, he just kinda stopped trying as much over the years, barely skating by with Cs. Somewhere in the middle of all of this, Joel found something he was good at: entertaining. He had an impeccable ability to make his friends laugh by being a loose cannon who was down for absolutely anything. And admittedly, he liked the validation, so he just never said no no matter how ridiculous or illegal the suggestion was. He still carries this habit to this day. Peer pressure? A lifelong friend of Joel’s.
Life goes by fast when you’re not prepared for literally anything, and before Joel knew it, he’d graduated high school and had to make college plans. So, he applied to the out-of-state college one of his cousins was attending: Beaumont.

Hello it’s me again
Recently rebonded with the symbiote because I wanted to. Peter and Miles didn’t think it was a great idea, but so far nothing bad has happened. I mean it did take 3 years before I did let the symbiote go on a mini rampage but hey I learned, it won’t happen again.
Besides, I’m not Venom all the time! Spider-Dog is bonded with it sometimes instead. The symbiote likes being bonded to Spider-Dog more lmao

Known Weapon: Platina; a sword forged from Giratina’s Dragon Fire during the very first fight with Arceus, hand-forged by the original Chosen. It is a rapier with a shorter blade and hilt than most. Can be summoned at will by Night.

DESCRIPTION/PERSONALITY - A young man sporting pale, almost deathly white skin, mixed with tired emerald green and crimson eyes, and usually wearing just a t-shirt and pants. Not one to go over the top, he likes to keep things casual – but this often shows off the scars that he’s received throughout his life. Since Galar, however, he has taken to at least wearing some more popular types of clothing line, and also a bit of a push from Cynthia to change up his wardrobe. He’s the motherfucking Champion of Sinnoh! He needs to at least look the part! One thing to note is that he wears a band that is capable of holding many things – but most of all it holds the Keystone that is his source of life(Before the Rebirth)… and also, he wears a jacket that resembles Giratina perhaps a bit too much.
Night can be described as Patient, Stubborn, Loyal, Homely, and Observant. He is the kind of person to observe first and then leap into things unlike his counterpart, Gladion. Despite all that he has been through, he still retains a kindness in him that many wouldn’t guess considering what legendary he has bonded to, and the patience of saints to go with it. Taking the leadership role of the little group that effectively keeps the universe in tandem, he shows leadership skills that prove effective when in the most dire of situations – but his one vice to this is that he is stubborn as a Tauros and won’t back down from anyone telling him he shouldn’t or can’t do something – even when the odds are stacked against him.
This being said, he is steadfast when it comes to helping others and his friends and has wisdom beyond his years. Too bad that wisdom isn’t saved a bit for himself and is mostly spent on his hard-headed friends.

HISTORY - Night’s past is pretty much a mystery, but he was born in Hoenn and moved to Sinnoh at age five, and would receive his starter at age ten, a Chimchar, and have a normal journey. He would capture his signature Starly along the way, as well as hatch a Riolu and catch a Darkrai after catching Giratina. All fully evolved, he would take on the Elite Four, after stopping Cyrus. This would change Night’s life forever and result in his soul being ripped to shreds by Arceus not long after awakening Giratina’s full power. Giratina would put his soul back together after fighting with Arceus and sending him away, and the two would become a ‘bonded pair’ ever since.
Meeting Gladion and Lunala, resulting in them beginning their travels… but not before finding out some things about his past were not so ordinary. His mother would disown him for literally capturing the one that is considered Satan in the Religion of Arceus, and he would find out he actually had a sister who died at birth, and Giratina had put her in an Lucario’s body. After reuniting with her and after his disownment, he would travel around from region to region, but eventually, return to Sinnoh and take over for Volkner who left to Johto to be with his now-wife, Jasmine, and reinvent the gym to his own liking… but this was only the beginning of his tale.
A few adventures would happen – but more or less he would find out that while Cynthia had Dialga and James had Arceus, as well as him having Giratina, readying himself for the final battle with James and Arceus.
Once this was over and they were prepared, everyone met on Spear Pillar… and a battle for the ages began. Lives were lost, including his beloved Steel, but a new beginning began, and he was able to move the Elite Four to Spear Pillar after finally taking on Cynthia and becoming co-Champion alongside her.

Giratina is his partner and bonded legendary. Despite his first pokemon being Solar, Giratina has taken the spot of being both as he’s always with him – and the fact they shared a body and that Giratina kept him alive doesn’t help. Giratina, or ‘Hell Snake’, is an easily irritable but surprisingly rational legendary – at least more than his father, Arceus. He actually cares for Night despite how he comes across, and vice versa, and in turn, cares for Night’s friends. ( He’s a big softie deep down, let’s be real. )

TRIVIA - Having raised so many dragons, he’s grown a lot more patience then the ‘darker version’ of himself, Gladion. As such, he can easily handle them… but fairy types? No. Get them away. They’re too girly, thanks. He cannot cook worth his life and so Solar had to learn to cook as a result, but during the Galar League, he had to learn to cook the basic curry, and now can at least cook some basic things as a result, but Solar? He’s still the best damn cook all around.
He has completed the Sinnoh Pokedex, and despite its beaten-up appearance, it has at least information on most pokemon. However, the only pokemon he doesn’t have information on is Cresselia due to his Darkrai.
