Mystic Flour essentially warps Dark Cacao's morality and judgement, essentially reducing him to like he was back in "Snow on the Black Wall", she's like "ooohhh the only way to keep your kingdom safe is to isolate it from the rest of the world ooooohhh-", also if Dark Cacao and Dark Choco reunite, Mystic Flour would use his past with his son against him like "you want to keep him safe, right? you don't want to fail him again like you did before... do you..?" and bing bong ding dong Dark Choco gets locked up for his own "safety" and it's like "father please let me out" "no son it's not safe" ":(" *insert bwomp sound effect*

I have a question about the No Return Au! For Dar- I mean, "Elder Cacao," did he lose his memories? Or is it something else?

Nah, he still has his memories.

In the canon, after Dark Choco pushes him off the wall, Caramel Arrow comes to Dark Cacao's aid and motivates him to keep fighting to protect his kingdom and eventually restore it to it's former glory.

Since that doesn't happen in this AU, Dark Cacao begrudgingly accepts the oncoming fate of his kingdom and essentially pulls a Hollyberry move. He leaves his sword with his soul jam in his kingdom, and leaves.

He now hides in the cotton village under his new fake identity, "Elder Cacao Cookie". Kinda like how Pure Vanilla hid his identity as "Healer Cookie" and Hollyberry was hidden as "Unnamed Huntress Cookie".

He's just a lonely sad old man now

You know what could be a way to make beserk dark cacao relevant again?

Have gingerbrave and the others bring him along for when they go up against mystic flour cookie.

Like, with all of the beasts now free after them going up against shadow milk (i think? Idk, i havent played the beast yeast episodes in a while), they could call one of the other ancients for help.

When they actually MEET mystic flour, mystic could possibly try to break the group up or get rid of them by making cacao go beserk and have him go after them

They could be like:

"It's safe to assume that you all are wonderful friends, am I correct?"

"Well, I can sense darkness from within one of you, and it feels as if it's been there for quite a while."

"And friends don't hide things from other friends, now do they? That would be quite a shame."

"Why don't you discuss this with them?"

Then just turn to cacao and he just denies it, pretending that he doesn't know what they mean

"I'd be glad to give you a little... push. A friendly reminder, since clearly, you have forgotten."

And then mystic flour does something, and then boom

Cacao goes beserk.

VERY high chance it won't happen, since devsis likes to pretend as if that form doesn't exist, but hey
