The Addams Family Through the Years
Tumblr media
Before I get into character profiles, let me first do a run-through of the incarnations of the Addams family through the years.
As I wrote in my first post, Charles Addams created the nameless, bizarre family in some of the many comics he drew for The New Yorker starting in 1938. Morticia and Wednesday were named in 1962 when dolls of them were released. Charles Addams was asked for a list of names and descriptions for them and the other family members when the TV show was in development in 1963, but had little other involvement with the show.
The show ran for two seasons from 1964 to 1966, totalling 64 episodes. This was the same time that a similar show, The Munsters, was also on the air. Both shows were about wacky families of monstrous weirdos living in American suburbia. Both were in black and white, and both were canceled in 1966, possibly due to the rise of color television.
After a cross-over with Scooby-Doo, Hanna-Barbera produced a 16-episode animated series in 1973 which featured the family on a road trip in a creepy camper that looked like their mansion. It featured the same actors who played Lurch and Fester voicing their previous characters, and a 10-year-old Jodie Foster as the voice of Pugsley!
There was a reunion special in 1977, which reunited most of the cast of the show, called Halloween with the New Addams Family. The original show had remained popular, running in syndication for years. It was especially popular in Australia. According to one fan, this was because the Addams family was “less American” than the Munsters.
In 1991, a feature film was released after a tumultuous production. Raul Julia became the new face of Gomez Addams in the popular consciousness. It was followed by a sequel called Addams Family Values in 1993, and in between there was another animated series. John Astin reprised his role as Gomez in that animated series.
There were plans to continue the film series, but Raul Julia suffered from stomach cancer and died suddenly in 1994, canceling those plans. Although both films performed poorly at the box office, they gained a loyal following on home video and remain popular to this day. In 1992, an Addams family pinball machine was produced featuring original voice acting from Raul Julia as Gomez and Angelica Huston as Morticia. It became the most popular pinball machine of all time, selling over 20,000 units.
In 1998, a TV movie called Addams Family Reunion was produced by Saban, featuring Tim Curry as Gomez and Daryl Hannah as Morticia. The only returning actors from the 1991/93 movies were Carel Struycken and Christopher Hart's hand, who played Lurch and Thing, respectively. I have not seen it, and can not attest to its quality, or lack thereof. That movie was also meant to be the pilot for a TV show called The New Addams Family, but most of the cast was different. It ran for 65 episodes, none of which have I seen. (Hat tip to @tenthirtyone for pointing this out.)
After a try-out in Chicago, a musical debuted on Broadway in 2010. I was lucky enough to see that for my birthday that year. It starred Nathan Lane as Gomez and Bebe Neuwirth as Morticia. It was pretty entertaining. It would have been better if Lane wasn’t trying to be Raul Julia. He did a very fake Spanish accent, and it was terribly distracting. The musical was panned by critics and didn’t last long, but it was popular enough that it is now performed by high schools across the country. In fact, my friend Sarah and my cousin Charlie were both involved with different productions of it this past Spring.
That same year (2010), the rights were purchased by Illumination Entertainment, and they announced that they were going to produce a stop-motion film with Tim Burton. However, he decided to go with computer animation instead. That eventually turned into the 2019 film, after Tim Burton dropped out. This version was the closest in appearance to the original comics. Although the characters are rendered in 3D, the animators aimed to make them look as much like Charles Addams’ drawings as possible.
You’d think Tim Burton had been involved since at least the 1991 movie, but he hadn’t. Black and white stripes? Bats? Other goth things? That sounds like Tim Burton, but oddly enough, he actually hasn’t been attached to any Addams Family property until the Netflix show in 2022. It’s a natural pairing, and perhaps he would have been great friends with Charles Addams, had he been born several decades earlier.
Now the Netflix show, centered on Wednesday, is in production for its second season after its first season was one of the streaming service's most popular shows to date. It's not the first time the Addams family has spawned a viral dance sensation. Way back in the 1960s, the original TV show started a dance craze called “the Lurch”.
In coming posts, I’ll go into how Charles Addams originally portrayed each of the nine characters in the Addams family pictured above (Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Fester, Grandmama, Lurch, Thing, and Cousin Itt) and how they evolved, or didn’t, over time.

Who came back?
Tumblr media
Well, it's likely Morgan...
Sorry to disappoint!
But it's actually good news for us, why? As I've mentioned in past posts, everything from the time of Coda is being repeated.
And that would include the return of Morgan.
We have just seen a repeat of the coda symbol in DD episode 6. It's the first time we have seen it since the episode Coda.
Tumblr media
And we saw two of them very close together, twins.
Morgan's return back in season 5 was heavily linked to the Coda, so much so that he actually touched the Coda symbol while being in a Coda to the episode called Coda! Phew...😧 follow that if you can!
Tumblr media
I've mentioned how the convergence of signs will proceed Beth's return, and those signs will be the same but inverted to how she left.
So when we see a combination of Grady and Terminus symbolism plus throw in Morgan possibly returning, we know her return is very close.
In other words, what happened in sequence when she left will happen in reverse when she returns.
In the past, Morgan lost his son, causing him to eventually try and track down Rick, leading him to Alexandria.
At present, Morgan in FTWD gained a daughter (Mo) and left the group, taking his daughter to head out and find Rick Grimes. He is heading back to Alexandria once again but with inverted circumstances.
In the Coda of Coda, where Morgan touches the Coda 😁 we see Morgan first on the train tracks to Terminus. He doesn't go because of Rick's sign. This detour leads him to the coda symbol on the tree and he touches it.
After touching the coda, he then goes to a school where he finds music magazines and a Beth lookalike walker, who he stabs in the head.
Tumblr media
He then makes his way to the church, but before getting there, he sees this symbol on a tree.
Tumblr media
The logical negation symbol basically reverses the meaning of something.
Tumblr media
We saw another one of these symbols in episode 502 where Bob gets taken from the church and taken to the school by Gareth from Terminus.
Tumblr media
In fact, we see the negation symbol, and then the very next scene is Carol and Daryl taking off in the car to find Beth.
Tumblr media
Everything between the two symbols could be considered false and opposite, including Beth's death!
Beth dying between these two negation symbols: = Beth didn't die.
After seeing this negation symbol, Morgan heads into the church, and the first thing he touches is the cross ✝️.
Bob and Morgan follow the same path from church to school but reversed. After they come across the negation symbol.
Now it's very possible that Morgan came across Beth back in the day, and we just don't know about it yet.
I've talked about the White House filming spoilers from season 5 before and how Emily was seen filming at these houses, but we never saw the footage on the show. So it's believed they are holding onto for a flashback sequence when she returns.
Tumblr media
But some may not remember, it was also speculated that Morgan was seen filming at night in the same location.
Overall, whatever happens, the fact Morgan is returning to find Rick Grimes means Beth will be coming back too, very soon. As the negation symbol suggests, she will be very much alive.
I am often talking about the use of the biblical last days themes to tell the story. Well, the negation symbol is actually another addition to this.
The prophet Isaiah talks about the negation symbol believe it or not.
Isaiah was known for prophesying about the last days.
In Isaiah 5:20-21 the prophet illuminates the heart condition of those who have become corrupt in their thinking. He states: Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness: Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.
He talks about a time when everything is the opposite to the truth, as in, good is bad and bad is good. AKA the logical negation symbol.
Interestingly, Isaiah says Woe to anyone who does this.
Woe is a term of judgement. Whenever a prophet or Christ uses the term woe, it's to pronounce a bad end and bad death for the object of the woe.
Bob touched the symbol of woe as he leaned against the tree to cry, and in the very next episode, he dies a very bad death.
Gareth walks past the negation symbol and also has a very bad death at the hands of Rick's red machete.
It may not bode well for poor Morgan in the end that he also walks past it. The coda symbol seems to have moved his woe further down the timeline.
In addition to all this, we first see the negation symbol in episode 5.02. The bible verse about the negation is found in Isaiah 5.20, and Bob dies a very bad death in episode 3.
Isaiah talks about those who turn bad to good and good to bad as corrupted in their thinking.
So It's no wonder that Gareth and co receive the Woe as they had obviously become corrupted. Who thinks eating other humans is ok? 😵‍💫
But what about Bob? Well, with Bob, they portrayed it in a different way. His flesh was corrupted. He was tainted meat! 🍖 🥓 🥩 🍖 🤢
Added extra...
There is a reason Daryl currently has a black eye again, just as Carol is about to be reintroduced.
It's because this all happened once before.

Dream Show Challenge
It's time for the Dream Show Challenge once more! I gave @singledarkshade a list of 7 TV shows or films and we were given a cast of 7 actors in return.
Here's who I had to work with:
The Umbrella Academy - Aidan Gallagher Good Omens - David Tennant The Mandalorian - Giancarlo Esposito Leverage Redemption - Aleyse Shannon Everything Everywhere All at Once - Ke Huy Quan The Witcher - Freya Allan Sense8 - Daryl Hannah
I present you with:
Rift Hunter
Tumblr media
Synopsis:
Someone or something is trying to reach Earth, not through space but across a dimensional rift. A secretive agency battles to control the rifts and deal with the incursions that threaten humans and the very fabric of the world. Connor Harris is having a particularly bad day. He is broke, his girlfriend has left him, and he’s desperate for something to go right, when he stumbles through the wrong door on his way to a job interview for a job he doesn’t really want, and into the middle of an incursion.
He is thrust into a world of monsters, aliens and strange science. Jiang Bao heads up the Reality Incursion Fundamental Tactics and Science (RIFTS) Agency which takes in Connor and gives him a new purpose. The secretive agency is tasked with keeping mankind safe but also with making good use of any opportunities that the Rifts produce to further science and technology.
The show plays on Connor's love of video games and retro gaming, getting in references about video games and gaming culture. It has a retro 80s theme tune and a purposefully retro intro sequence. It makes use of garish colours to heighten the strangeness of the rifts and the denizens from it.
Tumblr media
Aidan Gallagher – Connor Harris
In the wrong place at the wrong time, Connor never wanted to be part of the agency. However, his quick thinking and problem solving skills make him an ideal operative. He is a gaming nerd, whose last job was at a large game design company. He has very few friends and almost no real prospects after the company he worked for went bankrupt and fired all their staff, but he grows into his role at the agency. His main skills are in computers, but he also somehow gains an ability to predict when and where a rift will occur. He can also track the entities who come to Earth through the rifts.
Tumblr media
Aleyse Shannon – Tia Adefope
Tia is a government military operative, and is quite secretive about her past. She has trained to a high level and is extremely competent. She never expected to need to use her skills in this way but she is ready for whatever comes. She now leads a team of soldiers who act as security for the RIFT Agency and protect the scientists and technicians from anything that would harm them. When she isn’t saving the world one bullet at a time, she has a pet cat called Discord and a vintage motorbike to restore. She doesn’t have any attachments because her job never allows her time to stay in one place, but she also secretly likes it that way.
Tumblr media
Giancarlo Esposito – Jules Jackson
Jackson oversees the work of the RIFTS Agency. He is their liaison with government and ultimately in charge of everything that happens in the agency, their strategy and direction. He takes a no nonsense approach and takes his responsibilities seriously. Jiang would not have been his first choice to head up the agency and he would rather have found Connor a basement office that he could have left him in. However, he respects skill and comes to see the good points of the team.
Tumblr media
Ke Huy Quan – Jiang Bao
Head of the RIFTS Agency. Strings were pulled to get him this job, and Jackson would have preferred a military candidate. Jiang is an expert in the little that is known about the phenomenon of the rifts. Jiang’s parents emigrated from Vietnam when he was only a few months old, but he embraced his new country, becoming an disaster analyst in the government. His area of expertise is seismic activity, which led him to discover the rifts, but since then he has branched into several other areas of science to learn what he needs to know. He is smart, tough and a little out of his depth.
Tumblr media
Freya Allen – Corinna Salvor
An expert in aerospace technology, formerly of NASA, she was recruited to the team as an expert technician. She helps to deal with the technological threats that the team face on a daily basis as part of their work. She loves the challenge of her work and will happily pick up a gun alongside Tia. Smart, sharp and with a wicked sense of humour she loves nothing better than to prank Dr Caffrey or wind up Jiang. She is an expert at pressing peoples buttons and specialises in cutting sarcasm.
Tumblr media
David Tennant – Dr Alex Caffrey
Alex is a biologist, who found himself disgraced for his unusual views on the origins of life on Earth. Whilst he wasn’t exactly correct, he was closer to answers than many of his peers. Life on Earth wasn’t brought here by aliens but by the rifts. One of his key discoveries has been that humans were not originally native to Earth and he continues to gather evidence for where we came from as he interacts with the creatures that come through the rifts. He is a maverick who continues to clash with the senior team members on academic matters, but has a kind heart and will do anything for his friends. He does not enjoy fieldwork, but there is no substitute for collecting alien goo oneself.
Tumblr media
Daryl Hannah – Persephone Turner
Persi is a linguist and expert in psychology. She is empathic and gentle, not well suited to the work she is doing, but determined not to let her fear get the better of her. There is nowhere else that would give her the opportunity to speak to beings from other worlds or to learn how they communicate. Her tenacity means she is unwilling to let things go, even if they look hopeless.
Episode 1: Connor Harris and the Day of the Tentacle
Connor loses his job at EverByte whilst in the middle of programming a game that could make them all rich. Unfortunately for Connor, things go from bad to worse when he applies for a new job and arrives at the interview to then get caught up in an evacuation. He enters the wrong room and instead of the exit, he finds a glowing rift and a waving set of tentacles being fought off by the RIFTS Agency.
Tia rescues him but not before he is covered in a strange alien slime that gives him unusual powers. He is taken back to HQ for treatment and testing. During this period he becomes away that objects from other worlds have unusual auras that he can see under the right conditions. The team take him out into the field to test this ability and he is able to pinpoint a rift before the final incursion appears. The tentacle monster returns and tries to take Connor back through the rift, but the creature is killed by Tia.
When Connor asks what’s on the other side, Tia tells him that no one has ever returned from the other side of a rift.
And finally, the 80s theme song:

My Dip Playlist & Meanings Behind Each Song! -Pt1
Problems (Mother Mother) - This was the very first song I associated with Dip over a year ago now! The angel & demon aesthetic of the song fits that of Pip & Damien, as well as the seemingly prohibited relationship between an angel & a demon. Aesthetics all around with this one!
So Am I (Ava Max) - I like to imagine that Pip is the one singing this to Damien, coming from a place of empathy, yet Pip has come to terms with where he stands among his peers, while Damien is still trying to gain the acceptance from the others. Pip wants him to know that being a "misfit" is okay, & that he understands what Damien is going through.
Happy Face (Jagwar Twin) - I associate this one more with Pip, but I think it still fits for them both, creating an angsty scenario. This is Pip telling himself that no matter what he's going through, he just needs to grin & bear it, even if he doesn't want to. This is how things have always been for him, so he will continue to smile. (Maybe Damien will teach him that "it's okay to be angry sometimes").
Fairytale (Daryl Silvius) - This one I've actually created an animatic for in my head to This Lovely Fic! Damien is the one singing, his fairytale being Pip, & how he is happiest when he's with him rather than in his arranged marriage with Gregory.
(You're The) Devil in Disguise (Elvis) - Just another angel & demon aesthetic, not much more to say about this one.
INFERNO (Sub Urban, Bella Poarch) - Angel & demon, once again.
Looking at Me (Sabrina Carpenter) - Still angel & demon aesthetic, but there's also undertones of Pip being nervous about being in Hell when he dies, scared & intimidated by all the other demons living there. Damien does his best to calm him down (their relationship isn't that developed yet, so he's unsure exactly what to do), so he just tries to keep Pip's attention on him.
Memories (Maroon 5) - AN AMAZING ANIMATION/ANIMATIC WAS MADE WITH THIS SONG GO WATCH IT IT'S LOVELY!!!
The Devil Went Down to Georgia (The Charlie Daniels Band) - Angel & demon AGAIN, but with a twist. I like to imagine that they're playing pretend & the scene suddenly shifts to a realistic scene of an old southern-styled bar where the two face off against each other in an epic fiddle duel! At the end of the song, the scene shifts back to them in Damien's bedroom, toys & costumes strewn across the floor while the two laugh, having enjoyed their imagination world.
Love Is a Song (Donald Novis, Disney Studio Chorus) - I actually wrote my fic while listening to this track on loop, so I now associate this song with this fic whenever I'm watching Bambi or whenever I hear it. I think I was getting back into the old film again, & was listening to the soundtrack for a few days, & this song stood out to me. I'M ALSO A HUGE SUCKER FOR OLD MUSIC!!! (I also think this songs fits the atmosphere & mood of this fic as well, especially the end!)
Devil Town (Cavetown) - Pip's afraid while falling down into hell & arriving, but knowing that Damien's with him every step of the way brings him some relief. He's still nervous, but knowing that the black-clad boy will be with him, he can relax, if only a little.

The Devils I Know - Number 7
Welcome to “The Devils I Know!” For this spooky time of year, from now till Halloween, I’ll be counting down My Top 31 Depictions of the Devil, from movies, television, video games, and more! And SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND! Number 7 is…Al Pacino, from The Devil’s Advocate.
Tumblr media
Several years before facing Peter Stormare’s Lucifer in “Constantine,” Keanu Reeves had to challenge the Prince of Darkness in the 1997 crime/horror combo “The Devil’s Advocate.” In the film, Reeves plays Kevin Lomax, an up-and-coming lawyer working in Florida. Lomax is not necessarily an evil man, but he is a highly ambitious one, and is both dedicated and skilled when it comes to his job: even when defending a client he realizes is guilty, Lomax is still able to find a way to gain an acquittal from the jury. He’s a man who refuses to lose a case, no matter what. Indeed, his incredible ability to help his clients gets him the attention of a prominent law firm in New York City. Kevin accepts their job offer and moves to New York with his wife, Mary Ann (played by future Evil Queen and Morticia, Charlize Theron), expecting big things from this change in his life…and he certainly gets them, thought not at all the way he expects. The head of the firm is Al Pacino’s character, who goes by the name of “John Milton.” (A reference to the writer of “Paradise Lost.”) At first, Lomax and Milton get on swimmingly, but over time, as Kevin’s life begins to fall apart – his wife going insane, his career taking nightmarish directions – he begins to realize more and more that Milton is not all he seems. It’s ultimately revealed that Milton is not only Kevin’s long-lost father…but, more importantly, that Milton is the Devil himself. Milton’s whole scheme is to force Kevin into a position where he will willingly become the father of the Antichrist, so that Milton can – of course – take over the world. While Pacino was always the first choice to play the Devil in this movie, the creators didn’t secure his performance right away. Apparently, Pacino initially felt the role of Milton was too one-note, and rejected earlier versions of the script no less than three times. He did recommend other actors who might be able to take the part – apparently, both Sean Connery and Robert Redford, of all people, were considered for the role, per Pacino’s suggestion – but these performers ended up being either unavailable or simply unwilling to tackle the character. Finally, on the fourth proposal - and with some changes made to the script by that point – Pacino accepted the part. Thank goodness (or badness, I guess, in this case), because it’s hard to imagine anyone but ol’ Scarface here doing such a great job with the portrayal of the Devil in the film. Pacino’s Devil is a wonderfully fun villain; he’s somehow a character who hides nothing and yet remains an eternal enigma. Much like Jack Nicholson’s Daryl Van Horne, there’s a mixture of coarseness and dignity to this take on the concept. Pacino swaggers through the role, and carries himself with…basically the exact kind of attitude you’d EXPECT Pacino as the Devil to have: he's somewhere between a gangster and a sleazy snake oil salesman. It’s Pacino at his most…Pacino-y, but he also has a strength and sense of uneasy menace to him that gives him the power and believability a part like this requires. He speaks so sensibly and makes many good and interesting points, yet at the same time he never hides the fact that…well…he is who and what he is. To me, when I think of the Devil, this is one of the first versions I think of, and it’s easily in my Top 3 of Pacino’s performances (my favorite is Michael Corleone, my second favorite is Tony Montana). All in all, an easy choice for high placement on this countdown. Also…Keanu, you should probably stop ticking off the Devil. It, uh…doesn’t seem to go well for you, whenever it happens. Plus, now you have both Michael and Dracula mad at you, so…(pauses)…oh, who am I kidding, he’s John Wick. He can take care of himself. :P Tomorrow, the countdown continues with Number 6! HINT: One…Two…Three Strikes, You’re Out!

The Maynooth native exclusively spoke to Extra.ie following another successful award season, admitting he plans to keep working away on passion projects for the foreseeable future.
Across categories, home-grown stars were well represented at this year’s British Film and Television Awards, with Irish stars nominated in categories from Best Leading Actor to Cinematography.
The carpet turned green at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday night, as the who’s who of Irish talent stepped out in style.
Andrew Scott, Alison Oliver and Daryl McCormack were also present on the night, with Ireland’s next presumed Oscar winner Cillian Murphy also in attendance.
Chatting to Extra.ie on the carpet, BAFTA nominee Paul revealed the future seems bright as he looks forward to another award season in 2024.
‘Look if people want to keep putting me in movies that I want to be in, I’m never gonna say no,’ the star laughed.
‘I’m not in a rush to stop anytime soon, so fingers crossed.’
Another Mescal moment also swept fans away as a reunion with All Of Us Strangers co-star Claire Foy saw the pair in an incredibly heartwarming embrace.
Cillian Murphy is expected to win a Best Leading Actor gong for his portrayal of J. Robert Oppenheimer in the Christopher Nolan blockbuster.
Joining him in the category is Dublin native Barry Keoghan – nominated for his haunting performance as Oxford student Oliver Quick in Emerald Fennell’s critically acclaimed, Saltburn.
Paul Mescal also received a Best Supporting Actor nod for his role in Andrew Haigh’s All Of Us Strangers, but sadly his co-star Andrew Scott failed to gain a nomination.
Both Saltburn and All Of Us Strangers were listed in the Outstanding British Film category, while Oppenheimer was recognised under Best Film.'

10 AUSTRALIAN CHEFS: Who Become Global Celebrities
Tumblr media
It’s quite challenging to work in the restaurant industry, where customers can be challenging to please, and the hours or deadlines are highly demanding. However, a lot of chefs have established themselves in Australia as well as other regions of the world, but only a few have achieved celebrity status.
Due to Australia’s vibrant food culture and the success of reality cooking competition shows like My Kitchen Rules and Masterchef on television over the past ten years, Australian chefs are well-known throughout the world, and the country is also home to several well-known celebrity chefs. Some of Australia’s well-known chefs run restaurants with lengthy waits and have been awarded Michelin stars.
This article will introduce you to the best Australian chefs, who are well-known around the world as celebrities.
Curtis Stone
Curtis Stone was born in Melbourne, Victoria. When Curtis Stone was 2 years old, his parents, Lorraine, a florist, and Bryan Stone, an accountant, divorced.  At the age of four, his grandmother started teaching him how to cook. Stone studied home economics at an all-boys high school before beginning an apprenticeship in commercial cooking at a technical institute. He finished his Bachelor of Business degree before opting to get into the culinary industry.
Many celebrity chefs in Australia may be found on Australian TV reality shows like MasterChef and MKR, but few have the global reach of Curtis Stone, who broke into US television a decade ago. The Melbourne-born chef gained experience in London and Los Angeles as well. Curtis Stone was known for the million-dollar smile that made him one of the most marketable smiles in Australian media.
43-year-old Curtis Stone immediately rose to fame after his participation in the third season of The Celebrity Apprentice. Curtis began his culinary career at the Savoy Hotel when he was 18 years old before moving to London to work with Marco Pierre White. In 2014, he opened the Beverly Hills restaurant Maude, which is known for its superb wine and seasonal cuisine. He also owns Gwen, a classy restaurant in Los Angeles. In addition to Saturday Night Live, Curtis has been on Surfing the Menu, Dinner in a Box, Good Food Live, and Saturday Kitchen.
Pete Evans
Peter Daryl Evans, an Australian chef and former television host who served as a judge on the reality food competition My Kitchen Rules, was born on August 29, 1973. Evans has come under fire for advocating pseudoscientific diets like the palaeolithic diet and distributing false information regarding immunizations. He is a resident of Round Mountain, NSW. At the age of 19, Pete started a career as a chef and restaurateur. The now-46-year-old went on to open several nationally acclaimed restaurants and has subsequently worked in some of the best eateries in the globe. Pete is a strong advocate of the paleo diet, and his love of good health and wellness can be seen in his food. He produced and hosted The Paleo Way for two seasons, presented The Moveable Feast, and served as a judge and co-host for nine seasons of My Kitchen Rules. He just made an appearance in the critically acclaimed film The Magic Pill, which explores the effects that food can have on our bodies. Pete has also authored 14 books, the most recent of which is Heal: 101 Easy Ways to Improve Your Health In A Modern World. His other works include Eat Your Greens, Low Carb, and Healthy Fat.
George Calombaris
Chef and restaurateur George Dimitrios Calombaris was born in Australia on October 4, 1978. From 2009 to 2019, Calombaris served as one of the judges for the Network 10 program MasterChef Australia. Before he participated in MasterChef Australia, Calombaris frequently made appearances on the Network Ten daytime cookery programme Ready Steady Cook. He had several restaurants in Melbourne. The Press Club, his flagship restaurant, was selected as “Best New Restaurant 2008” by The Age Good Food Guide, and Calombaris was named “Chef of the Year 2008.” Calombaris finds inspiration in his Italian, Greek, and Cypriot ancestry.
He is one of the very few famous chefs in Australia, most well known for his work as a judge on all 10 seasons of MasterChef and his passion for Italian, Greek, and Cypriot cuisine. While still an apprentice, he attended the Box Hill Institute of TAFE and won the Bon Land scholarship in 1999. George later worked for Reserve in Melbourne’s Federation Square for two years, when he was named Young Chef of the Year. One of the “Top 40 chefs of Influence in the World” in 2004 was named George. He currently owns five eateries in Melbourne, the most well-known of which is The Press Club. He is also the author of The Press Club: Modern Greek Cookery (2008), Georgie Porgie (2011), and Greek Cookery from the Hellenic Heart. He is a co-author of Your Place or Mine? (2010) and Cook with Us (2011). (2015).
Emma Dean
Emma is a former professional athlete who competed for Australia in track cycling. She has always believed that her competitive nature helped her succeed in the MasterChef Australia kitchen and realise her aspirations of being the best chef in Australia. Emma spent her early years surrounded by hens, sheep, cows, and horses because she was raised on a hobby farm. Her mother used to milk the cow every day, and her parents raised a lot of their fruits and veggies. Emma Dean was named the series 5 champions of MasterChef Australia on September 1st, 2013. Attica chef Ben Shewry’s complex Plight of the Bees was the challenging dessert pressure test that pitted Dean against Lynton Tapp in the final round.
Dean won $100,000, a trip to some of the top kitchens in the nation, and an Alfa Romeo. Dean won a book publication contract with New Holland Publishers as part of the MasterChef award. A Homegrown Table, her cookbook, was published on December 1st, 2013.
Later Emma hosted, an Australian TV reality show My Market Kitchen for a few years where she developed a close bond with Lynton Tapp, her co-host, while they were both working on MasterChef Australia. They were replaced in 2019 by Khanh Ong, a finalist in season ten, and Elena Duggan, the season eight champion.
Adam Liaw
Australian-Malaysian chef Adam Liaw rose to fame after taking home the title on MasterChef’s second season. Liaw was born in Penang, Malaysia, to an English mother who was born in Singapore and a Malaysian Chinese father. He has an older brother and a younger sister, and he is the second of three children. At age 3, his family relocated to Adelaide. Liaw lived with his paternal grandmother, whom he credits as having had a significant influence on both his cooking and his life after his parents got divorced and his mother relocated to New Zealand. Liaw tweeted in September 2009 that he was thinking about applying for the second season of MasterChef Australia. He was listed as one of the top 24 candidates in April 2010. Despite succeeding in a competition where he had to prepare meals from famous chefs, Liaw wasn’t confident in his ability to take home the crown.
Liaw was the first challenger to be given a spot in the championship round on July 22, 2010. He was named the champion of the second season of MasterChef on July 25, 2010. The most watched non-sporting television event in Australian history is still his victory.
Liaw thought about a multitude of alternatives after winning the competition, including founding an izakaya restaurant. He later returned to MasterChef as a guest judge for seasons 4 and 6. The 40-year-old, Adam Liaw resides in Sydney, hosts the show Destination Flavour and writes frequently for publications including The Guardian, Sunday Life, and GoodFood. Two Asian Kitchens (2011), Adam’s Big Pot (2014), The Zen Kitchen (2016), Adam Liaw’s Asian Cookery School (2017), and Destination Flavour: People and Places are among the five cookbooks he has written (2018). Let's talk about the thing. And just for the record, I am really tired of talking about the thing, so tired I am literally begging the TV gods not to give me any more reason to talk about the thing for at least a few episodes so that I can rest. But like it or not, the thing is relevant to Caryl's story, the thing being the potential for a Daryl and Connie romance. In order to understand it, we need to look at Daryl's commonwealth arc in 11B as a whole because I believe it's all a package deal. I know Daryl has only been in the Commonwealth for one episode, so I might be jumping the gun here and this could all blow up at any second. Also be advised that I'm going to be making predictions based on the trailer, and it may or may not coincide with filming since I don't keep up nearly as well with that as other amazing sleuths.
Pro tip: If you're trying to track a story based on sequence of events, you're going to get lost. Always follow the emotions. The emotions are your compass. So where is Daryl starting off emotionally at the Commonwealth? He's feeling like an outsider looking in. He's behaving like an observer. In the very first scene, we see him looking around, taking everything in from the maze to the games to the people. But he's not really a part of any of it. He's still Daryl from Alexandria and he has the vest to prove it.
Juxtapose this with Connie, who is already fully immersed in this new way of life. She's hard at work, wearing what a journalist would wear. Yes, Kelly is too, but Connie is the star, the one whose accomplishments prove that she belongs here. So is it weird that Daryl takes her in too if she also represents the world he's trying to get a sense of? Maybe not to Daryl, but then Carol chimes in with her comment about asking Connie to dance and suddenly, he can't just observe anymore. Now he's being pressured to conform to someone else's vision of life, which is heartbreaking because his own vision (Carol) is continuing to put a wall between them. He knows his identity and his heart well enough to be able to brush it off in this moment, except then throughout the episode, the pressure to conform continues to build and build.
At first, he goes about his assigned role as a military trainee with little conviction since, per his conversation with Rosita, it's only temporary anyway. He doesn't have to be a team player. He doesn't have to trust anyone outside his longtime friends. Alexandria's going to get cleaned up and then he can resume living the way that feels natural to him. Mercer insists otherwise, and maybe Daryl doesn’t know him well enough to take that to heart, but then he returns to his shitty apartment that no doubt reminds him of his troubled childhood, and something changes. The kids want to stay, and because he has a responsibility as an uncle, because his brain is wired to put literally everyone else's happiness before his own, he now has to re-evaluate everything he's doing. Alexa, play the "Under Pressure" song!
That conversation with Judith and RJ is an emotional turning point for Daryl, which is why we see him behaving differently afterwards. Standing at the door of the ball, symbolically the entrance to higher society, Daryl takes a beat to study Mercer, take notice of his status, and think for the first time that maybe, he should be striving for the same thing. And strive he does, arresting the first Commonwealth rebel to emerge, then letting the governor's egotistical son take the credit in order to gain his favor.
We joke that Daryl looks absolutely ridiculous in his armor, and that is not without reason. Him putting it on conveys he's ready to do what everyone is telling him to do, which is to be in the Commonwealth. To lead that life. To hold those values. But he is trying to fit into a role that's not meant for him, and that my friends goes hand-in-hand with Connie.
In case it isn't clear, I am not saying Daryl has feelings for Connie. I very much maintain that he has his heart set on one person and that is Carol. I am not saying he's going to get together with Connie, even temporarily. I'm not even saying he's going to actively pursue her. The only thing I'm saying is that Carol has planted this concept of how he should see Connie in his head, and in the spirit of trying to craft the life people think he should have or want him to have, it is something that is going to be weighing on him when he and Connie interact going forward. Would he be doing even that much if Carol wasn't making herself emotionally unavailable to him? Absolutely not. See why it's important to track characters' emotions? Because ultimately those emotions determine what they do next.
In the trailer, we see Daryl attacking one of the soldiers and in another shot, we see him standing with Maggie and Hershel. Now maybe I’m misinterpreting what’s going on here, but I think it might mean we are going to see another shift in Daryl’s attitude toward the Commonwealth by 11x16. If he is rejecting their way of life, then it stands to reason he should reject the idea of Donnie along with it. Because he is affirming what he doesn’t want for himself, so that come 11C, he can start working toward what he really does want. Need that hint again? Vroom, Vroom. Like I’ve said before, pacing is always the hardest to predict, but this feels like a reasonable timeline.
I know that this is still not the direction we want. I know some were hoping Donnie would die with the reunion or that Daryl would simply keep dismissing Carol's suggestions without another thought until the big eruption (which very much remains in the realm of possibility). But alas, the writers want this issue to be more complicated for both Daryl and Carol (and us!!). It's okay. Like I said before, it is counterproductive to build up to Donnie if the only goal is to let them be together for a bit before Daryl decides to peace out. That's not what's happening. It fits into the larger story, which is Caryl.

So TV Line posted an article that it is now official that Melissa won't be in the spin off. Maybe you have already gotten tons of asks about this but at first it seemed like speculation but now it's been confirmed. The article also mentioned that the show would be moving to Europe and that's the reason Melissa won't be a part of it. One thought that struck me is was this a Bethyl spin off all along and they disguised it as Carol and Daryl spin off and second will TF actually travel to other countries which with no means of transportation how would they do that or will they just simply film in Europe and pretend it's post apocalyptic US. Well there's also the french connection that you have mentioned but it feels way too much to move an entire show for just that.
Yes, lots of Asks about this yesterday, and I'm just endeavoring to answer a few directly.
I do think, as you said, that the spinoff will probably be largely about him finding Beth.
My friends and I talked a lot about the Europe thing. As I said in yesterday's post, let's remember that we have now way of KNOWING the reasons behind it. Until and unless they give us more info, this is all just speculation.
But we wonder if they may be catering to a more global audience. We already know TWD has fans in pretty much every country in the world, as does Norman himself. Doing RIDE in other countries, he's nearly been mobbed several times.
It's definitely a big, expensive decision. But there must be some sort of monetary gain the production is getting out of it to decide to do this.
One other thing I wanted to point out. Someone sent me this:
Tumblr media
I'm glad JDM is speaking out. He's the closest person to the situation who has thus far, and I'm glad he's defending everyone. Now again, take what I'm gonna say with a grain of salt because we don't want to read too much into how he worded a casual reply to someone on Twitter. But he does say Melissa needs a BREAK. That really doesn't sound like she's retiring to me. But again, that may just be how he's wording it and we shouldn't read into the direct meaning. No way to know yet. But I thought I'd point that out.
You also mentioned transportation. A lot of the fandom seems to be hung up on the transportation angle, but if you think about it, that’s not really an issue. The CRM (which this will probably have to do with) has helicopters. We’ve seen lots of boats and such, especially recently with Michonne going to look for Rick. And of course Rick is also tied to the CRM.
So, I have no idea how they’ll have him get to Europe, but they’ll come up with something plausible. I really don’t see that as some major obstacle to Daryl ending up there.
Thanks Dear! Xoxo! ☔️💞

SERIES MASTERLIST
Summary: When the reader arrives back home, they have to face Negan, but first, they need to tell the others what happened with Alpha. When they find out that Daryl is about to step into the fire what will happen and how will Negan and the reader get past his escape?
Word Count: 2981
Warning: Swearing
Song I Wrote To: “Falling” by Harry Styles
Note: I wanted to make this part focused on conversation and have a breather after all the action. More to come.
-------
The walls of Alexandria greeted you late in the afternoon.
The entire ride home you had been paranoid that any Walker was one of Alpha’s people. The original fears from the start of the Apocalypse were returning. A lone Walker or even a few hadn’t given you the sense of fear like this since those first few months. However, now, the Living threat moved with the Dead and there were new rules to play by.
At least, that is what you felt this was. A cruel game. After Terminus, after the Wolves, and even after the Saviors, you didn’t think people could get worse. How naïve you and the rest of your family had been.
As your horse swayed beneath you, your hands gripped the reins tightly as Alpha’s face remained at the forefront of your mind.
There was something so feral yet powerful about the woman. You could also tell that she was the product of the new world and based on what Lydia had told you, Henry, and Daryl, her mother hadn’t always been this way. You only hoped that whatever Daryl was about to do didn’t unleash even more of the terror that you were sure was hidden beneath her stoic features.
Siddiq was the one that met you as the gate opened. He took the reins of your horse and led him to the stables, not saying a word as you finally relaxed when the gate shut securely behind you.
“Here,” Siddiq said quietly as he reached for your arm to help you down off the horse. You gripped his shoulder as your feet hit the ground and then he was pulling you into him. “I’m so sorry about Jesus,” he said and you gripped him back, trying to keep your emotions in check.
“Thanks, Doc,” you said as you gave him a final squeeze before letting go. Stepping back, you looked up at him and then noticed something else in his eyes. Something that wasn’t just sympathy. “What else happened?” He took a breath and then smiled slightly.
“Rosita’s pregnant,” he said proudly and that was the last thing you had expected to come out of his mouth.
“And it’s….it’s yours?” you asked, carefully.
“Yeah, it is,” he said with a wider smile. You couldn’t help the wave of emotion that overtook you then. Even with all the sorrow, this was something to celebrate.
“I am so happy for you,” you said and you meant it. “Look at you, a dad.” You punched him in the shoulder lightly.
“Thanks,” he said and you could tell he wanted to be even more excited, but after what had happened, nobody was feeling very gleeful. Instead, you focused on the task at hand.
“We need to talk. All of us,” you said with a heavy sigh, “we are not even remotely done with these people.” Siddiq understood immediately.
“I’ll call for a council meeting,” he said. “Did you want to and talk to…” he began, but you shook your head.
“No, just call the meeting. Negan can wait.”
---------
“They’re back,” a quiet voice said in the dark.
Negan slowly opened his eyes. He wasn’t sleeping. He hadn’t been able to since Michonne returned and told him what had happened and asked him if he had ever heard of people walking with the Dead while wearing their skins. He hadn’t, but he wasn’t surprised that they were out there. The new world changed people in the most extreme ways.
Michonne hadn’t stayed long, but he could tell the new threat was getting to her. It was rare when he saw the woman rocked and he didn’t have a good feeling about what was to come.
Turning over on his cot, Negan looked at Judith who had just returned to the cell. Judith folded herself onto the floor as she had hours before. She had been doing so since he got back, only leaving to see her mom and sleep. Whether Michonne knew or not, she never told her to leave.
“Do they look angry?” Negan asked.
“They look tired,” Judith said softly. “I think something else bad happened.” Negan furrowed his brow as he sat up.
“Why do you say that?”
“Siddiq just called a council meeting. They only do that when something bad happened,” Judith said.
“They called a council meeting once because Eugene tried to make a catapult,” Negan reminded her.
“This one feels different,” she said with a slight shake of her head. “Before I came down here, I heard (Y/N) say that Uncle Daryl was afraid. He’s not afraid of anything.” Negan frowned at that. He knew Daryl enough to know that he rarely showed fear in the face of danger.
“Your uncle is strong, kid,” he told her, trying to reassure her. “He’s been through worse.” Judith, however, wasn’t convinced. She leaned in more towards the bars, removing her hat so he could see her better.
“Negan,” she whispered, “I’m scared.” He didn’t hesitate then. Negan moved towards the bars and crouched down to her level. He reached for her hands and she held onto them tight.
“You listen to me, kid,” he said, “no matter what happens, nobody will hurt you. Do you understand me? I won’t let them hurt you. Besides, you are a survivor, and dammit, you’re a Grimes. To these new freaks that may not mean somethin’, but to me and to everyone else in your family, that means a lot.”
“Does it?” she asked in a small voice.
“Hell yeah it does,” he assured her. “You, your mom, and that little boy upstairs are what’s left of this badass family I met seven years ago and you know what I learned after knowin’ your daddy and big brother?”
“What?”
“Nobody goes against a Grimes and wins.”
--------
As soon as you finished explaining what had happened at Hilltop, the meeting hall was silent.
“I don’t know what Henry ended up saying to her, but it got the kid to open up,” you explained. “I think that she could be valuable.”
“For what?” Aaron asked. “You saw those freaks the same night I did, (Y/N). You know how ruthless they are. They aren’t going to back down for one girl.”
“Lydia is Alpha’s child, Aaron,” you said. “Whether the woman is capable of compassion or not, that means something to her. I don’t think she would have openly exposed herself like that if it didn’t.”
“And that’s why Daryl went after her? For leverage?” Rosita asked. You noticed that her hand was placed protectively on her abdomen. You didn’t think she realized she was doing it.
“I think it’s more about protecting her,” you said with a sigh. “The girl’s been abused.”
“She also killed Jesus,” Aaron argued.
“No, her people did. Lydia didn’t kill anyone,” you countered.
“As far as you know…”
“Look all I know is that Daryl is about to declare war and we need to be ready,” you said. Looking around at the faces in the room, you could see that a wave of fear was being passed from person to person. These...Whisperers, as Eugene called them, were something out of a nightmare and that was saying something considering everyone had been living in a horror film for a decade.
“Negan didn’t know them,” Michonne interjected, gaining your attention. You nodded.
“I figured as much,” you sighed. “I don’t think anyone would have known them. I think that this is their first time showing themselves to people that they weren’t immediately going to kill afterward.”
“Looks like we’re all going in blind on this,” Michonne said.
“It’s new territory, that’s for sure,” you said, leaning against the wooden column at your back.
“What’s your take on all of this?” Gabriel asked you.
“I think they are more dangerous than we think,” you said. “We’ve fought villains before, but this is the first time when I can’t see how this is going to go. Guns and armies are one thing, even those freaks at Terminus made some kind of sense in my mind. But this? This is absolute insanity and I’m positive that we haven’t seen the last of Alpha or her people.”
“Why didn’t you go with Daryl?” Aaron asked.
“I was needed back here,” you said.
“For Negan?” Aaron asked, narrowing his eyes.
“Yes, Aaron, instead of informing my family that there are masked psychos after us, I ran all the way back here to check on escaped convict number one,” you spat, gathering your things and gripping your sword tighter. “Fuck off.”
Nobody said anything as you stormed from the hall.
“Nice,” Michonne said with a smack to the back of Aaron’s head.
You headed for home, still boiling with anger. You knew that Aaron was angry with you about everything with Negan no matter what he said. He blamed Negan for Eric and while you understood, you just wished that he would remember that Negan wasn’t the one to kill his boyfriend. Eric tragically died in the war, but so did a lot of people.
Pausing in the middle of the road, you couldn’t believe that that thought crossed your mind. You were invalidating Aaron’s grief because of your own emotions and feelings and you hated the way it made you feel. “Get yourself together,” you whispered to yourself.
Continuing on towards your house, you passed by the Grimes house when a small voice reached your ears.
“You always tell me to be honest!” Judith’s yell came from the cell beneath her house. She sounded frustrated which had you moving closer.
“You’re the kid, I’m the adult,” Negan said back. Hearing his voice offered you both comfort and stoked that anger in your gut. You wanted to throttle him and hug him at the same time. Your feet were moving before you could even stop them and the next thing you knew you were pushing open the heavy door of the jail. You were met with silence.
“Get out, Judith,” you ordered. The young girl looked up at you from her spot on the ground. Her hat was in her hands and she looked as if she had been there for a while.
“No,” she said, “you’re gonna yell at him.” The girl was too smart for her own good, you thought. You still avoided looking at Negan, but you could feel his eyes on you.
“I’m gonna yell at both of you if you don’t get out,” you said. “Your mom is gonna wanna talk to you.”
“Is this about what happened to Jesus?” she asked, getting to her feet.
“Yes, now go.” Judith hesitated. “Judith, right now.” With a sigh, she placed her hat on her head and sulked as she walked from the room. With one last look at Negan, she stormed out and ran up the steps.
“You shouldn’t be angry with her,” Negan said, finally speaking directly to you. You paused and then let your bag drop from your hands. Dust flew from where it thumped to the cold floor and then you were turning to finally look at him. That light was in his eyes again, the one that was only reserved for you.
Normally, it would give you so much joy, but it only fueled your fire. However, you kept your temper under control. “Are you sure you don’t know anything about these Whisperers?” you asked, your voice low.
“Is that what you seriously want to talk about right now?” he asked, his arms braced on the bars as he gave you an incredulous look.
“I’m not sure I can talk about anything else without screaming.”
“You’re angry,” he said.
“I’m hurt, Negan,” you corrected. “When Scott showed up and told Daryl and me that you had left, yeah, I was pissed. I couldn’t understand why after everything you would just leave and then I realized something.”
“Which was what?” he asked carefully.
“That I was so stupid to believe anything that happened between us was real.” Negan stared at you in shock, not expecting that at all.
“You honestly believe that? Are you fucking kidding me?”
“What else am I supposed to believe!” you shouted. “I am so goddamn stupid! I should have known the second you had the chance, you were going to leave. I just don’t know why you even bothered to come back.”
“Don’t bullshit yourself, (Y/N),” he countered, not letting you be the only one on offense.
“Excuse me?”
“You know damn well why I came back! You just won’t admit it to yourself because you’re afraid!”
“Afraid? Of what? Why don’t you tell me Negan since you seem to know me so well,” you said, crossing your arms.
“That’s the thing, though. I do know you. I know you better than anyone has in a long time. And I’m not talking about where you grew up or how many Walkers you’ve killed. I know you. We are the same and I know that I’m not the only one who has felt that way. You can deny it all you want, but I know the truth and so do you.”
“You don’t know anything, you whispered, but your voice was thick with emotion. “I can’t feel like this, don’t you understand?”
“Like what?”
“Like I am willing to turn my back on my entire family just to keep you safe. Just to make sure that you are still alive when I come home. I shouldn’t be this...this consumed by one person!”
“Why are you acting like the idea of you and me is so fucking terrible?”
“Because everything I touch, I kill and so do you! You say we’re the same, well you’re right, Negan! We are both monsters and all people do is die around us! Rick, Carl, Jesus! If we are the same then I don’t want to be!”
“I’m not going to let you stand there and say that what we feel for each other doesn’t mean anything!”
“Don’t tell me how to feel,” you shot back.
“Then say it, (Y/N),” he said, leaning through the bars. “Say that I mean nothing to you and I’ll stop.” You were silent as you looked at him, fighting the tears behind your eyes. “That’s what I thought.”
“You bastard,” you swore. “You left me. After everything that I’ve lost, that you knew about and you left! How am I supposed to react to hearing that you were gone!”
“I came back,” he said softly.
“And what if you didn’t? Was I just supposed to accept that? Was I just supposed to go on with life not knowing where you were or if you were even alive? What was the plan?” Negan reached for you, but you shook your head, holding your arms tighter against your chest.
“I didn’t think there was a future here if I was locked in a cage.”
“I don’t wanna hear it,” you shot back, trying to keep your rage contained.
“Don’t you?” Negan challenged.
“I just lost one of my best friends and my other one is hunting down our new enemy’s kid to save her life so no, Negan, I don’t want to hear it.”
“I’m sorry, (Y/N),” he whispered.
“What did I tell you about apologizing?”
“I’m not sorry that I left, I’m sorry that you’re hurting.”
“You hurt me,” you told him, wiping at your face.
“I know and if I could take it back, I would,” he said.
“I don’t want to be the bad guy here,” you told him.
“You could never be the villain of my story,” he whispered. The silence was thick in the room and you didn’t know how to respond to him. You hadn’t intended to go off on him like this, you thought you would give it a few days, but hearing his voice….
“I have to figure out how to help Daryl,” you said suddenly with a sniff. Negan frowned as you changed the subject but went along with it.
“What are you going to do about them?” he asked.
“We’ll figure it out when Daryl finds the girl. He has to be included in the decision. Tara too. Maggie also if we can reach her, but I don’t know where she is right now,” you whispered, not looking at him.
“There’s gonna be a fight, isn’t there?”
“Not if I can help it,” you said, gripping your blade. Negan noticed and he also noticed the steel reserve that seemed to be around you since you walked in.
“You’re gonna kill them.” It wasn’t a question.
“Cut off the head of the snake and the body dies,” you said looking up at him. He could see the tears marks, the tears he had caused. “No more games. If she comes for us, I will kill her.”
“That doesn’t sound like you.”
“Maybe you don’t know me as well as you think you do,” you said.
“We both know that’s not true.”
“We don’t know anything anymore.”
“What are you really trying to say, (Y/N)? That you hate me now?”
“I will never hate you,” you said, taking a step back. “I told you that before.”
“So what, then?”
“I just can’t trust you anymore,” you said as you grabbed your bag and slung it over your shoulder.
“How do I win that trust back?” he asked, his tone becoming hoarse.
“I don’t know,” you whispered, turning to go.
“I’ll do anything!” he called to you. Your hand paused on the door handle and as you closed your eyes you let one more tear fall.
“Maybe that’s the problem.”
“(Y/N)!” he yelled as you left the room, letting the door close behind you as you walked away from him.
As you jogged up the steps, you heard his calls for you to return, but you just kept walking.

Welcome to... Reading the Signs: A Bethyl Spoiler Blog
You asked so you shall receive!
A while back I posed the question on my main account X asking if you would be interested in a Bethyl-friendly spoiler only blog and got more enthusiasm than I expected! Therefore, I would like to formally welcome everyone to a place where you are safe to do all your speculating and referencing without any of the haters as we track all known spoilers, rumors, and speculation throughout the Final Season of the flagship show and the entire TWD Universe until the Rick Movies and beyond.
Why is it important to have a Bethyl-friendly blog?
Well there are many reasons...
First, here at Reading the Signs, if you think a character like Daryl or Maggie is reacting a certain way or saying something because of their association with Beth Greene, you will not get any crap from other ships and those who disagree. Plain and simple. The same goes if your just connecting an action back to Beth or wondering what she would have done, had she been around still.
Tumblr media
Second, almost everyone else in the broad spoiling fandom will either ignore, suppress, dismiss or just not pay any attention to anything that might come up in the spoilers, rumors, and speculation regarding Emily Kinney or the character of Beth Greene simply because to them - the character is dead - or at least they are scared to insinuate otherwise. Since many Bethyl fans are members of Team Delusional, they just might not find what they are looking for elsewhere. While this blog will be accurate and credible, we will most certainly also be keeping our eye on EK throughout filming.
I’m happy to report that unlike recent years, spoiling has already picked up intensely throughout the general TWD fandom as excitement is gaining over the finale extended Season 11 of the flagship show and the closer we get to finding out what is happening with Rick. The amount of information coming out of Georgia is reminiscent of Season 5 filming back in TWD’s heyday. The Covid quarantine over the past year seems to have also had the affect of introducing the show to lots of new fans - many of whom where small children when the show originally premiered. I think we are gearing up for a great season.

Silence Chapter 4
As we grew closer to the meeting point, Negan grew quieter. A blessing AND a curse.
I’d never been gifted at guessing anyone’s age. Even prior to the world aging everyone at an average of five years a fucking week, I sucked at it. The woman waiting for us could have been around my age, or she could have been closer to my mother’s age, had she survived giving me life. She doesn’t seem to take notice of me at all, which gives me time to study her and try to make some sense of her and Negan’s exchange, but that seems less than helpful.
Mostly Negan seems lacking in her esteem.
From their back and forth I gather that it took him far longer to murder/assasinate/decapitate Alpha than the woman he addressed as Carol had expected. While he had technically fulfilled his part of the deal, she wanted more time to complete hers. Instead of rushing to Alexandria, the community they were a part of, she wanted time alone to process. Since I have no background and it would appear that I gained the power of invisibility- Wait, if I was invisible, why not take advantage?
I was about to do just that when the slight movement caught my captor’s keen eye. Damn it.
“Elara,” his tone sounds pleading and my eyes close in an attempt at gaining strength. “Please.”
I go with him, again, and he tells me about Alpha’s daughter. Lydia, a name I didn’t know, but a child I vaguely recalled from the sightings of their group during my travels. He’d hidden her in another spot, to keep her safe from a mother who wanted to end her life. Together we go to the cabin, another of my haunts, one that I use sparingly and only during the harshest weather. When Negan enters first and a fist connects with his face, I’m stunned into submission. A wild, crossbow wielding man stands demanding answers, and I have to say, I’m both impressed and slightly terrified.
“Where’s Alpha?” He’s growling, and I blurt it out. That she’s dead, that her head is lodged on a pike at the border of their lands. “The hell are you?”
I’m glaring now. “Nice of you to ask that NOW.” I manage to bite out with an eye roll. “I’m no one of importance, clearly. Think of me as just an innocent pedestrian.” Innocent pedestrian who’s been taken hostage by a maniac, and then kidnapped by a redneck crossbow freak. My day gets better and better.
“She’s dead?” His eyes land on me again, and I nod. “Do you even know who she is?” the ability this man has to doubt my intelligence both impressive and irritating. Seriously.
“Yeah. Dumpy. Gross. Whispery. Hick. Creepy as FUCK?” Pointing with my thumb at Negan, I tell a secret that even I wish I wasn’t privy to. “He played ‘hide the pickle’ with her.”
I wish I had a camera and film. Something, ANYTHING to capture the looks on their faces. They were PRICELESS. And Negan’s sputtering attempts at explanations.
“Why’d you kill her?” Crossbow was lowered from my person, so now they could get down to the nitty gritty, I guessed. I relaxed marginally, pulling my pack from my back and sitting down.
Negan had recovered from the horrifying knowledge that I’d managed to get Alpha Does Negan Live and in Living Color quickly and started tossing shots about Daryl’s ‘girlfriend’ and some more back and forth that made me consider how many puddles of manly piss I was going to have to dodge before I could escape the testosterone fueled wonderland I’d wandered into.
Eventually Daryl insisted that we vacate the cabin. I started to argue, but I got fucking overruled. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a fucking wonderful good goddamn reason why I am NOT a joiner. Then he went a step further and tied up Negan for the trip.
“Bondage?” My eyebrow raised as I took in the ropes being tied around Negan’s limbs. “Kinky much?” Their heads raised, eyes locked on me as I kept my voice down from habit. “First the whipping thing in the forest, now ropes in this cabin-”
I’d done it again, I created a vacuum of awkwardness. Good. Now maybe they would let me-
“Come on, smart mouth-” the gruff roughneck muttered, pulling Negan’s bonds. “Let’s get goin’.”
We head back toward the fucking border. Negan and Daryl having more back and forth and I feel like the third wheel in the WORST version of a buddy cop/odd couple movie ever optioned. I’m tired, I’m bored, and I am very much overloaded on the too peopley button.
When we get to the border I nearly scream. Her head is fucking gone. And of course, Daryl the wonder brain thinks this means Negan is lying, and by extension he somehow has manipulated me into being his bard. Because Negan is so fucking what? Charismatic that my brain melted and I IMAGINED what I fucking witnessed. Um, OK.
“I saw what I saw,” I offered, moving forward toward the pike where I’d watched Carol pop the weird fucking prop earlier. “They’d never leave her here.” I muttered, thinking about her pack. “They’re creatures of habit. This line is for enemies. For the disgraced. For showing who has been taught a lesson and for a reminder. She was their leader, their saint. They’d never demean her and leave her here.”
“Are you saying-” Negan was watching me like he’d never seen me before, and he probably hadn’t. Not like this, not as the academic version of myself.
“Pack animals, or people who are pretending they’re pack animals, are habitual. Whereas they line their border as a warning for those who break ranks, they would never show their own loss or mourning in the same horrifying light.” I sighed, looking at each spot that was empty. “The last time these pikes were filled, they were filled with-” I looked at Daryl. “Your people?” His nod was curt. “Putting her head here, that’s an act of war and aggression, I hope she knew that.” I was talking about Carol, and I know that they both knew it. “You know that the leader role goes to-” I didn’t have a chance to finish. Men.
They argue about whether Negan enjoyed his time with Alpha, a gruesome topic so I went back to studying the pikes. The markers, the ground. One day, very soon, they’d learn who the new Alpha was, and I REALLY hoped they were both together and I got to see it. Fucking ignoring males.
Daryl gives up on waiting for the elusive Carol’s return to the pike line. He insists that I accompany him and Negan back to Alexandria, and I feel like a prisoner that Negan once mentioned being. Although to be fair, neither of us were bound when we arrived.
I was given a room in a house, and a little girl, inquisitive and cute, wearing an odd hat came to greet me.
“Hello, I’m Judith Grimes,” she was wearing a gun that was almost as long as her forearm and a katana was strapped to her back. I was impressed despite myself.
“Elara,” I held out my hand and hoped I was smiling. Negan stood beside me and she grinned up at him, which I found strange. “I think you must know this one-” I gestured to him dismissively as she shook my hand with gusto.
“Oh me and Miss Grimes are old friends,” he was close enough that his body head was bleeding into me. He didn’t say another word, but she nodded toward a building nearby and his head gave a small tilt that could mean a number of things. “Do you mind showing Elara around?”
“Course not,” her smile grew, and my tour began as Negan headed off toward the buildings nearby.
The community was impressive, but I missed the wildness of the forest. Even the shower and the bed in my temporary room wasn’t tempting enough to make me want to stay. My fingers felt around the window frame, tugging until I could open it enough to get a bit of a breeze flowing. Sighing at that tiny shred of freshness, I sat down on the soft bed and pulled my notebook out of my pack and the pen free from its pocket to fill in the blanks since my last attempt.
I was still writing when I heard the small notice go up that Carol had come back.
The first warnings come and I find it lucky that I wasn’t attached to my new digs. Moving again, this time to an abandoned hospital, a tower where we divy up the chores and tasks, something I am more than capable of aiding and abetting, regardless of how often I’ve managed to run and hide to survive.
I haven’t seen Negan since he rushed off during my tour with Judith and I hadn’t spared much thought for him. I updated my history of the times, so to speak. I managed a nap, for which I was certain to be thankful for later. I’m sent to search for Negan at some point, seemingly to make sure he’s behaving himself, much to my chagrin, and I find him with a young woman. Thinking that I could do with one less Naken Negan Fun Times scarred into my psyche, I’m about to turn and go, when I hear her tell him that most people had hoped he would have died while he was gone as well as Alpha. Oh dear.
I sigh, louder than intended and the dog with the two of them alert them. Shit. “Sorry, I was sent to do a head count.” Using an exaggerated finger point, I do so. “One, two, and puppy makes three,” I’m turning to go, when the girl brushes past me. Fuck fuck fuck. I stop and drop my head. Dear God, if you’d like to do me a serious solid, let this fucking floor swallow me right fucking now. Please. Amen.
“Elara,” quiet again, not pleading, just quiet. Tired. I turned back to see that the dog went with her. Lydia, it must have been Alpha’s daughter, cleaner than I’d ever seen her, but clearly taking her mother’s demise well. He looks beat, worse than I’ve seen him. Not that I’d seen him all that much. Christ. “Come here for a second?”
“I was sent to find you anyway, so look at me, first day on the job and already head of the curve.” I walked closer. “You can’t force it, you know that, right?”
“Who are you?” He was leaning against a wall, staring at me like he was seeing me for the first time again, always so surprised. “Seriously.”
I shook my head. “A lifelong student.” I mirrored his posture and sighed. “It doesn’t matter, Negan. Who I was, who I am? None of it matters anymore.” I shrugged. “Nuggets of knowledge, that’s all I have.”
“How do I help her?” He wanted to, it was so clear and heavy. His need to make it right. To fix it for Lydia. “How can I make her feel-”
“Better?” I was staring at him like he was crazy, because it was insane. “Negan, her mother is dead. You killed her. Her mother wanted to kill HER. There’s no easy fix for that.” I shook my head. “Lydia’s a victim and has been one since the moment she drew her first breath. Until she comes to terms with that, and the mixed up shitstorm of fucking modpodge of shit that she feels for that woman who birthed her? She can’t grieve it, she can’t let it go, she can’t fix it and feel all better.” I pushed off the wall and started for the doorway. “If she can’t, then I hate to tell you Mr. He-Man Alphamale, you haven’t got a prayer.”
I hear that the horde is coming, and calls to each post. Daryl asked that I’m found and given a position near Carol, since he noted my bow and I suspect that he chose to believe it was more than an accessory. She too is an archer, and as I move to stand beside her, I suddenly feel less invisible.
“Didn’t really get a chance to speak before,” she says, as she checks her bow one last time, and I too am doing final checks. “I’m Carol.”
“Elara,” I offer, notching an arrow and readying my first shot. “Are we aiming for walkers first, or Whispering freaks?”
The flurry of activity keeps my mind from thinking about the endings. Endings are the WORST when you become a joiner. It’s why I stay apart. It’s why I don’t introduce myself or learn names or sleep in beds or-
Cause the endings come after the battles you don’t run from and you see the girls or boys you spoke with and learned about piled high or tossed like dolls thrown aside by irate toddlers at the end of a destructive playtime. Endings ruin walls and people and destroy bodies and lives. There are always the both sides' arguments, but the truth is that there is a good side and a bad side, but when the bodies are stacked, when the limbs are entwined and the blood is splashed around, I dare you to separate it into good and bad.
Carol and Lydia lemur the horde, from what I hear later, as I’m being bandaged on wounds that I didn’t notice being given. I’m not present when Negan’s given the title I knew he’d accidentally earned with his decapitation of Lydia’s mother, for which I will FOREVER be saddened, but the look of shock on his face when he tells me about it later, much much later when we have a quiet moment alone will forever be etched in my memory banks.
When he tells me that he and Lydia have made a sort of peace, I roll my eyes.
“What? I didn’t push her.” A raised eyebrow and his smirk is my answer. “I think my charm is growing on you, Elara.”
“You mean like fungi?” I ask, trying to sit up, but he won’t allow it. “I am NOT an invalid.”
“No, but you do have a head wound, you stubborn-” and then he does something that shocks me enough to render me immobile. His lips touch mine, a slight brush, enough to stop me from moving, but not enough to make me freak completely out and hit him.
Not to be outdone, as he’s about to pull back, my hands, traitors that they are, slide through that hack job of a haircut and hold him to me. I can feel the smirk return as his lips press back against mine, but I could give a shit as my mouth opens in invitation and he takes it. His tongue touches mine and then his arms are around my back and I’m not prone anymore, but sitting on his lap wrapped around him. My teeth tease his now kiss swelling lower lip, and he groans as he pulls back.
“We shouldn’t.” That’s my cue to groan. “You have a head wound, Elara, and as much as I want to,” he shifts and I feel just how fucking much he WANTS to. “We can’t. Not yet.”
I shake my head. “Where’s pervert Negan?” I mutter, flicking my tongue against his lip and smiling as he moans. “I REALLY like pervert Negan.”
“Fuck if I don’t LOVE pervert Negan, sweetheart,” he laughed, leaning forward to lay me down on the bed again. “I promise he’ll come out to play with you as soon as you get the all clear.”
I pouted, letting him tuck me in, but feeling quite peeved that I couldn’t have more. More of him. NOW. “Can regular Negan at least hold me while I have forced celibate naptime?” I sighed. He chuckled and slid into the bed beside me. “I guess this’ll do.”
“Course it will,” he murmured into my hair. “Just make a list of all the fun things you and pervert me can get into instead of counting sheep-”
Like that was going to help my sorry ass go to sleep...

Orlando Jones
Tumblr media
Orlando Jones (born April 10, 1968) is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He is known for being one of the original cast members of the sketch comedy series MADtv, for his role as the 7 Up spokesman from 1999 to 2002, and for his role as the African god Anansi on Starz's American Gods.
Early life
Jones was born in Mobile, Alabama, on April 10, 1968. His father was a professional baseball player in the Philadelphia Phillies organization. He moved to Mauldin, South Carolina, when he was a teen and graduated from Mauldin High School in 1985. One of his early acting experiences involved playing a werewolf in a haunted house to help raise money for the junior/senior prom. Jones enrolled in the College of Charleston, South Carolina. He left in 1990 without finishing his degree.
To pursue his interest in the entertainment industry, Jones, together with comedian Michael Fechter, formed a production company, Homeboy's Productions and Advertising. Together Jones and Fechter worked on several projects including a McDonald's commercial with basketball superstar Michael Jordan for the McDonald's specialty sandwich the "McJordan".
He scored his first Hollywood job in 1987, writing for the NBC comedy A Different World, on which he had a small guest role in the season five finale. During 1991-92, Jones penned the Fox series Roc and, in 1993, he co-produced The Sinbad Show. He also made a brief appearance on the FOX sitcom Herman's Head in 1992.
Career
MADtv
After hosting Fox's music series Sound FX, in 1994, Jones became one of the original nine cast members of MADtv. Unlike some of his fellow original repertory performers on MADtv, Jones came to the show with limited sketch comedy experience. However, his comedy writing and television producing skills proved to be valuable to the early success of the show.
Throughout the first two seasons of MADtv, Jones produced characters like the Cabana Chat band leader Dexter St. Croix and Reverend LaMont Nixon Fatback, the vocal follower of Christopher Walken. He was also noted for his impressions of Thomas Mikal Ford, Temuera Morrison, Warwick Davis, Danny DeVito, Michael Jai White, Eddie Griffin, and Ice Cube.
After two seasons on MADtv, Jones left the show to pursue a movie career. However, Jones returned to MADtv in 2004 to celebrate its 200th episode.
Other television projects
Aside from MADtv, Jones made many other television appearances. Perhaps his most popular and enduring television appearance was not in the form of a sitcom or television drama, but rather in a series of humorous commercials as the spokesperson for 7 Up where he gained wide recognition.
This exposure led to a plethora of opportunities for Jones. First, he hosted an HBO First Look special in 2000 and then, in 2003, Jones was given his own late night talk show on FX called The Orlando Jones Show. Although his talk show was short lived, Jones continued to make additional television appearances. In 2003, he appeared on The Bernie Mac Show and on Girlfriends. In 2006, Jones decided to return to television as one of the lead characters of ABC's crime drama The Evidence, as Cayman Bishop. He has also appeared in two episodes of Everybody Hates Chris, the first in 2007 as Chris's substitute teacher and the second in 2008 as Clint Huckstable, an allusion to the character Cliff Huxtable played by Bill Cosby on The Cosby Show.
In 2008, he appeared as Harold Wilcox, a violent veteran with PTSD, on New Amsterdam. In the first season of the show, Jones also starred on Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out. Jones was the first guest star on the show. Jones was the co-host of ABC's Crash Course (which was canceled after 4 episodes). On November 16, 2009, it was announced on TV Guide that Jones had been cast as Marcus Foreman, Eric Foreman's brother on House, appearing in the season six episode "Moving the Chains". In 2013, he was hired as a principal actor in the FOX television series Sleepy Hollow. The freshman drama opened to FOX's highest fall drama premiere numbers since the premiere of '24' in 2001.
From 2016 through 2019, Jones portrayed Mr. Nancy, aka the African god Anansi, in the Starz series American Gods.
Film projects
After leaving MADtv, Jones expanded his cinema resume. He appeared in a bit part in his first big screen film, In Harm's Way (1991), Jones then joined Larry David in the feature Sour Grapes (1998), playing the character of an itinerant man. Subsequently, he appeared in Woo (1990), Mike Judge's Office Space (1999), alongside fellow MADtv alumnus David Herman, and in Barry Levinson's praised drama, Liberty Heights (1999). Since then, Jones has appeared in Magnolia (1999), New Jersey Turnpikes (1999) and in Harold Ramis' Bedazzled (2000).
During the 2000s, Jones' career began to branch out. In addition to his witty appearances in the 7-Up campaigns, Jones played the role of Clifford Franklin in The Replacements (2000) and the horror film From Dusk till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter (2003). In 2002, Jones landed the lead role of Daryl Chase in the action-dramedy Double Take (2001), alongside Eddie Griffin, and worked with David Duchovny, Seann William Scott and Julianne Moore in Ivan Reitman's sci-fi comedy, Evolution (2001). Jones was also in the 2009 film Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant and he appeared as the computer Vox 114 in The Time Machine (2002). His other more recent films includes Biker Boyz (2003), Godzilla (2005), Runaway Jury (2003) and Primeval (2004). Jones appeared in an uncredited cameo and played in Grindhouse Planet Terror (2007 film).
In 2011 Jones appeared in the documentary film Looking for Lenny in which he talks about Lenny Bruce and freedom of speech. In 2012, Jones starred in Joe Penna's original interactive thriller series Meridian created in conjunction with Fourth Wall Studios.
Voice acting
Jones has been featured in many voice acting projects over the years. In 1993, Jones appeared in Yuletide in the 'hood and in 1998, he made a guest appearance in the animated comedy TV Series, King Of The Hill. More recently, he lent his voice to the TV series Father of the Pride and the video games Halo 2 as the marine Sergeant Banks as well as other black marines and L.A. Rush. In 2006, he co-created, produced and voice acted for the MTV2 animated series The Adventures of Chico and Guapo.
In early April 2013, it was largely thought that Jones would be taking Tyler Perry's place as Madea. This stemmed from Jones's own report that he would be taking over the role, and photography of himself impersonating Madea. This led to public outcry from fans. Perry later revealed, however, that this was an elaborate prank played by Jones, stating, "That was an April Fools' joke that HE did. Not true. And not funny. When I’m done with Madea, she is done."
Personal life
Jones married former model Jacqueline Staph in 2009. They have a daughter. In October 2011, Jones provoked controversy when he joked on Twitter that someone should kill former Governor of Alaska and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. He apologized for the comment several days later.

I keep having fan theories/wishes/hopes✨ of the Rick Grimes movies. 😅🙃
Oh boy. ...I’m gonna have high expectations and stuff about the movie. arghhh ...um I need a fanfic or something.
Anyway, I guess I put some thoughts on here ..so then I don’t make new posts all the time or something. I also wanna do fan edits. It helps to write out my wishes and go like there thats my “head/canon” ending of TWD/RG’s story.
===================================================
-So lately I think the movies are gonna be like a repeat of the show’s premise and I kept thinking maybe Rick will be friending with a teen boy who is similar to Carl or he could be Asian and it also reminds us of Glenn. So it would be like father and son figure trope-storyline like other shows/movie have done.
-It would be cool to see Heath there (idk if the actor’s available and etc.) Then it also reminds of some theories like if Morgan’s son Duane is still alive and they’re at CRM. But I think that messes up Morgan’s story though.
-I have that whole “#Carol’s mission” theory...and was wondering how Carol and Daryl (Grimes kids, and other current characters in the show and FTWD, TWDWB) appear in the movies. Maybe the movies’ timeline takes place after 2 years or less from the show(or after the show’s series finale time-wise). So, it would be like the movies are ahead and we watch the show -on how the characters get to the point they were at in Movie 1.

I really don’t know what the plot could be and for 3 movies.😑 Like what’s the conflict and who’s the antagonist.
-someone kinda mention it already and I like the idea that it could be CRM (antagonist) vs. Commonwealth. Or, within CRM, Group A vs Group B (where Rick is at). I kinda had this idea that Group A/CRM are dressed in black and Group B are in streetwear, casual, and wear white/Commonwealth soldiers (and red? Commonwealth and TF helps them.) So it’s black vs white.  ....But Idk what A and B means...I’m hearing it’s “after or before” bitten? ok

-It would be funny or fun if each movie has a different theme to it. Like movie 1 is spy-like movie, movie 2-rom / romcom movie, movie 3- road trip movie.
-I’ve been doing edits and like yeah ok it doesn’t make sense and blah. Idk what my ending I want. Mainly everyone wants a Grimes (and others) reunion. Yeah we want that but i think there’ll be more to it(3 movies!)..other plots going on.
So, hmm ..it would be cool if they did my wish/idea that I wanted for The 100 show to do. But, the show didn’t but Falling Skies kinda did it. It would be interesting if with my theory TWD does it. The theory/idea is like Rick goes west of USA, territory by territory to save everyone kinda like Lewis and Clark(get it from The100..k) traveling to west... and Rick find other communities. Gaining other communities/friends..against walkers or enemy. Rick would be the leader or someone who help unite communities/territories together. I guess this is like LOTR or a road trip movie. (I told my sis about Falling Skies and she said so there would be bad zombies and good zombies? lol 😑)
- I was thinking maybe there would be an arc, like in the Commonwealth arc in the comics, where it’s Old World vs New World.

- maybe the movie(s) will be like TWDG s3 with the logo on the title parallel and Clem&AJ are like Judith&RJ. heh Well if the kids are gonna be in the movies. I hope they are.
...*thoughts
- Maybe they film in May ‘20, after DG’s HBO show. *shrug* :\
-I was thinking if Gimple is all about the easter eggs and creating a TWD universe with many shows/things kinda linked together, then I think TWD movie(s) are like the mothership story (right? movies are the big deal of hollywood/franchise).  Anyway, Gimple really have to plan the movie story out or just have this big plan and endgame in mind ahead of time. This seems really hard..and timelines. Like 3 shows kinda hinting CRM, they all keep going forward into their story, while we get movie1 and then later movie2. It gotta make sense. That’s hard..with SW and Avengers it was already based on books or planned out already(George Lucas). Or movies came out first. TWD comic books ended like s12-ish. // ok... Sigh so many promises.
- Those scifi movies or the mythology in the story is all crazy drama but the answer is LOVE. heh that would be cool. Idk how that works in this. They won the great war, found cure from zombie bites, and everyone’s at peace because of (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ , L💖VE. (easy way out-writing)
-Gimple mentioned “wild directions” on the movies and I just hope the movies still feel like TWD and nicely wrap up Rick’s story. Just no retconning, love triangles, and killing other major characters. 👽
-Doing random edits and like ahh it’s like fic but I see it. FeelsFeelsFeels. Anyway what if Rick, every place he’s been at, left Michonne letters just because(and misses her and loves her still) and it kinda becomes like clues for Michonne to find Rick. Michonne finds love letters for her all over the world/US. 😢💖 But uh my theory is he’s in one place or not idk.
-ok but what if Richonne Reunite on a bridge. 😭💞I like the idea of also being like their first meeting in s3 when they’re by the fences. Also, maybe, something do with their hands..hand touches. -they do a lot of hands holding on the show, btw.
-eta. I haven’t thought of ideas lately and I also did my big twd/rick movie AU edits and felt like satisfied like..there’s that my wish or my au wish to depend on. And also felt discouraged or hopeless?.. on those movies and tired of these rushed early plans on what gimple is gonna do. Like I  mainly just want an overall plan. So far I think i figured out that the movies might be after “TWD World Beyond” ends.  And idk whatever crazy thing AMC is gonna do. like solo movies wtf?
Anyway, I guess they’re kinda saying or rumors that TWD other characters(WB, FTWD) will join. Which I figured because hello movies..make it a TWD movie(more interest, fans, $$). ok. So, if true, Carol/Caryl will be there. And I recently thought of a different idea than before. Like maybe Caryl team will go to New Mexico to meet up FTWD’s group..to help fight against CRM.. ..and to bring them to the movies. Just an idea but idk how that works with other TF/Grimes kids and the tv show. Well I guess maybe it works for both before or after Rick movie #1, and tv show still going (if they still continue the show after s12,TWD:WB and movie #1.)
