INTRODUCING THE MOST MANIPULATIVE KING IN HISTORY , MAGNIFICO!!! 🎇🎇🎇🎇(I hate him but he deserves a redesign lol).

For those who see this post for the first time, I introduce myself, Hi :D! I'm Aled and this is a collaboration with @ animación , author of the rewrite of Wish that is on her profile (read it, the story it's soooo good) and I am in charge of drawing the redesigns of her story.

Now, coming back to the main thing, I will show how we got to this result :)

FACIAL FEATURES AND HAIR:

-Honestly, I never thought that getting used to drawing Magnifico would be so difficult lmao, how in most of my procedures to make the designs, I start with sketches and studying the structure of the character's face, this was a little difficult because I'm not that I'm used to drawing people over 20, but with a few practices I was able to figure out how to draw him :D

(I also did digital internships, but I didn't save most of them because I forgot lmao)

COLOR PALETTE:

-Don't think that I chose a palette of yellow and gold colors just because I thought it was pretty (well, that's also another reason), what happened is that when I was searching through conceptual arts, I found some designs by Magnifico where They used a blue and yellow color palette

I did a quick search and found this:

-Tell me this doesn't remind you of Magnifico, then yes, that's why I chose a yellow color palette, also adding a golden tone to give it a royal vibe.

-I also applied this in the design of Queen Amaya, in the publication of her design I explained why I added details of a dark blue color in her costume and Magnifico's costumes

ATTIRE:

-From the beginning I always wanted to modify Magnifico's cape by adding a rose as a brooch, and searching through the conceptual arts I found quite a few interesting models, so it can be said that I combined everything I liked and that's how I got the cape for Magnifico, Also adding other details that occurred to me.

-The author sent me several ideas for Magnifico (thank you by the way :D), one of them was associating Magnifico with the sun, I really liked the idea and that is why there are so many symbols of the sun in his suit, plus these It reminded me how in so many cultures the Sun is worshiped, just as the kingdom of roses worships Magnifico, there are also other reasons why the sun fits with Magnifico but I already mentioned that in the publication of Amaya's redesign.

-The truth is, I only drew the other details improvised, this time I just got carried away, but hey! The outfit didn't look bad at all :)

-Another important part of Magnifico's costume is the "M" on his badge, but in fact it is not an M 😅, it is the sign of Scorpio ♏, this idea was from Anny Mation

-So yeah, I had to add the Scorpio symbol yes or yes, at first I thought about adding it to the back of the cape but I wasn't convinced by the idea, but then I thought: "Wait, why don't I add the sign on the gold plate ? that would look elegant."

FINAL COMMENTS:

-I'm proud of how this turned out, I feel like it does justice to a villain that commemorates 100 years of Disney :)

-Also, I think that those who have already seen the other redesigns know which character is next, right 👀✨? For Aster, I don't know how long it will take me to draw him, since the boy is literally a walking animation studio lmao.

“What… the Hell was that about?” Sputtering, rubbing at his cheek with the back of his hand, Anger turned a startled glare onto Fear, who had immediately shrunk away to the other side of the sofa, eyes wide, a burgundy blush overcoming his entire face.

“Uhm—” He stammered, wringing his hands in his lap. “I, uh, I didn’t— I wasn’t— I’m sorry, I just— I don’t know what came over me—”

Unmoving, his entire body hardened, stiff, Anger watched his partner stammer and trip over his words with an affronted bafflement as he attempted to smother down the burning in his own face and the unexpected, erratic thumping in his chest. Though there was still some small sense of irritation at being caught off-guard, he found himself more than a little transfixed by the warmth that was stubbornly lingering where Fear’s lips had just been.

It felt… nice. Nicer than it probably had any right to be given who it had come from, Anger thought distractedly as he went on watching Fear squirm under his gaze, mumbling a litany of apologetic nonsense, and was only vaguely aware of the swell of fondness unfurling in his chest.

“Sh—Shut up, would ya?” He finally snapped, his tone sounding strained as he cut off Fear mid-sentence, bringing his stammering to an abrupt stop. “It’s not that big of a deal— if you wanted to pull something like that, you could have just asked.”

At that, Fear shot him a dumbfounded look, seemingly taken aback by that response while Anger raised an impatient eyebrow in return.

“A… Asked—?” Fear repeated, sounding almost mystified. “...I mean, would you have… you know, said yes if I asked—?”

“We’ve been together for a month, what the fuck do you think?” Anger scoffed, rolling his eyes.

“...O—Oh.” Blinking, biting his lip, Fear let out a nervous breath of laughter. “So… does that mean I can… uhm, c—can…—”

“Jesus— quit being such a baby and get over here.” Grabbing Fear by the wrist and tugging him close, the words left Anger in a huff as he yanked his partner down and crashed their mouths together in a graceless kiss.

Immediately, Fear stiffened with a muffled sound of surprise, smothered by the awkward clashing of their lips, neither of them knowing quite what to do with each other, only managing to fumble against each other for a few moments before they broke apart.

It was a heavy, uncomfortably stifling few seconds that lapsed then, the both of them simply staring at each other in shocked silence for a short eternity, lips parted on unspoken words until Anger bristled, a growl rising in his throat as he pulled Fear down for another kiss, more certain this time.

Although it was still clumsy and sloppy, their mouths moving against each other’s with no sense of rhythm or timing, teeth knocking together more often than not, it was getting easier by the second, Anger winding his arms around Fear to pull him closer still and his partner melting against him like putty, his hands lifting to cup Anger’s face, while they both slowly figured out how they were meant to fit together.

Under his hands, Anger could feel the faintest of tremors running through Fear, the purple emotion shaking against him as they kissed, a soft, sweet breath wavering out from between his lips every time they parted and came back together, and despite himself, Anger felt the corners of his mouth twitch up in a slight grin.

Certainly, he liked this more than he thought he would.

When they finally separated for the last time, it was with some degree of reluctance— the pair blinking dazedly at one another while their breath mingled, as though breaking out of a trance. In that moment, Fear looked like a lovestruck puppy, his eyes half-lidded and his head cocked just slightly to one side, and Anger wasn’t sure why, but something about the sight had his stomach flipping.

After a beat, however, reality suddenly caught up with them— their closeness proving to be a bit too embarrassing now that the moment had passed— and the two abruptly sprung apart, Fear scrambling back to the other end of the couch while Anger retracted his arms and crossed them tightly over his chest.

“That— uhm, that was…” Clearing his throat and brushing his fingers lightly over his lips, Fear murmured, a bashful smile spreading over his face. “...Nice. R—Really nice.”

The corners of Anger’s mouth twitched almost imperceptibly at that, though he did nothing more than nod, his fingers drumming against his arms as a stilted silence settled over them and they both looked awkwardly away.

Ideal Hypothetical Saw Film Reroll episode(s)

(This is something I’ve been thinking about as I’ve watched through the movies and @afoxnamedmulder also formally asked about it so I took that as full permission from him to just start spewing my every thought about these two things together. This post is hyper niche and for literally like 3 people but idec lets gooooo)

So the first thought is if the Film Reroll crew were to ever reroll Saw it would obviously be the first one. It’s the most culturally relevant one and the one that most fits with what I can see the show doing. In the case of rerolling Saw I, ideally the players would not have seen the movie. Like I said, since this is the most culturally significant one this might be hard but I’m gonna go off of both vibes and play style for this one and just hope that it works

For the GM it’s gonna be Paulo. I just feel he could do the cramped space of the bathroom justice and bring in new “challenges”/obstacles to keep things moving.

Playing Lawrence Gordon, and this is gonna sound crazy please bear with me, I think we get Carolyn Faye Kramer. My reasoning for this is that the Lawrence of Saw I is someone who, despite his task being to kill Adam and cut off his foot, does not actually have the ability to do it until the very end when his family is threatened. If we put Jon or Scott here, Gordon is shooting Adam within the first 15 minutes of the movie. Carolyn I feel can play someone very conflicted about the choice and also won’t immediately jump to trusting whatever Jigsaw is saying on the tape. She’s willing to cooperate with her fellow player and only if she’s pushed to take things into her own hands will she start trying to make moves, which I feel is fitting. (Also she’s the only cast member I feel like we can say 100% has never seen these movies lmao lest we forget the infamous Friday the 13th “I know who the killer is” fiasco” happening because she doesn’t like scary movies)

My first choice playing Adam Faulkner-Stanheight would be none other than Joz Vammer themself! I think they could really get the tone of the character down full stop. The mixture of outbursts and jokes, but then also throwing things at the wall to see what sticks in getting them out of there. I feel like Joz also would not accept the zero sum game presented by Jigsaw and would work to find a way for both Adam and Lawrence to get out together, which is really what you need for this movie. In my heart I feel like Joz has seen the movie, but for this scenario I would hope not because…

The twist in this reroll would be there has been a 3rd PC the whole time: Zep Hindle. I would LOVE for Tim to play Zep. He could 100% play this quiet, envious guy given instructions to carry out his part of the game. My imagining for this would be he and Paulo had a session before the main game that was all about how Zep handled the set up stuff with Alison and Diana.

And then I’m envisioning the bathroom game sessions are happening on a Zoom call or the like, and Tim is sitting with Paulo in his apartment, letting him know what Zep is doing if/when phone calls to the outside world are happening and stuff. Also Paulo could totally call for “breaks” in recording where he’s actually conferring and rolling with Tim on what Zep is doing. The knowledge Zep gets is basically the equivalent of him getting to know stuff because of the camera set up in the movie. This would probably be a logistical nightmare to actually record, but I like to think that the payoff would be awesome. Like it gets revealed there was a secret third player in the episode, Joz and Carolyn are shocked, and then the edit goes back in time to show key tidbits of Tim’s turns and such. They could even release the full audio of it then on Patreon lol

The reveal at Zep being a PC rather than an NPC also kinda parallels/coincides with him not actually being Jigsaw from the original movie too. He’s not the one actually making things happen, he’s all a pawn in the game as well

HOWEVER I also had the thought - if the crew does Saw they don’t HAVE to do the first one. They didn’t do the first Friday the 13th and hell, their first episode is literally Back to the Future 2, not the first movie. If the crew just wanted to do a Saw episode to focus on the trap aspect when they’re playing, I think they could play as the Fatal 5 from Saw V (blatant Saw V bias showing here, don’t look at me, but also I genuinely think this is the group game most conducive to being rerolled). It’s also very likely that none of them have seen Saw V, so the “twist” with the traps being all survivable wouldn’t be known to them

It was between Saw V and Saw II because those are the two group games where all of the participants are free to work together and it’s not reliant on one person. I like Saw V better because I feel it can be self contained more than II. With II you have to deal with the fact Amanda is in on all of it and idk I feel like that just doesn’t work as well for a ttrpg setting. Casting for this one is a lot more vibes based and I have less concrete answers, so I’m open to suggestions

GM - Paulo once again. King of making this all work

Ashley Kazon - Carolyn (don’t know too much about Ashley but I want Carolyn in this movie and feel she could work this)

Charles Salomon - Scott (he could do it. He could bring the smarmy vibes and even though he wouldn’t know the line “I’m an Investigative Journalist for 👆The Herald👆” he would know it in spirit)

Luba Gibbs - Jon (first of all, we don’t get Jon to play women enough on this show. I love him playing Annabelle in Jumanji. Secondly, I think he can play Luba’s cut throat nature well. However I also wouldn’t mind Lisa in this role. I think she could play it well also)

Mallick Scott - Andy (he might be a bit too sedate for this, but also he’s the one I trust the most to play into the inevitable guilt complex that would be put on his sheet so)

Brit Stevenson - Kara (she could 100% do corporate woman who cares only for her own survival until she realizes that she doesn’t HAVE to care only for her own survival. I believe in her)

No twist in how the gameplay happens here, the only fun thing would be to see if the cast would be able to figure out Jigsaw’s message in that they can all actually work together to get through the traps.

FINALLY the most self indulgent thing and the thing they would never actually do because it technically wouldn’t be the movie itself is they would give us an apprentice campaign with the mainline apprentices working together before the start of Saw III/Saw IV, each of them with their own specific, secret objectives they’re hoping to achieve:

GM/John Kramer would be Paulo

Amanda would be Joz (Fairly self explanatory I feel. They have the range to play her. They would GET her)

Lawrence would be Andy (I feel Andy could pull off apprentice Lawrence. Lawrence strikes me as someone in the shadows during his apprentice work, biding his time, and I can see Andy bringing that sort of thing to Lawrence. At the same time there’s some room to develop apprentice Lawrence’s motivations and character so I would be interested in seeing what he’d do for him)

Hoffman would be Scott (Hoffman was the hardest for me to pin down in this line up but I think I like Scott as my pick for now. Open to more thoughts about this one though.)

In every scenario there would be will rolls up the wazoo. I feel like will stats in this would be fairly normal, it would just be the penalties that would make the rolls hard. So I like to imagine that cutting your own foot off is probably a -5 penalty or something, but if you’re in immediate, imminent danger or you have credible reason to think your family is in danger you’d get some bonuses back to make it a less tricky roll. Also numerous fright checks would also be on the table I’m sure, as well as senses of duty or different traits people will have to resist. I think building the character sheets for this would be fun, though it would be interesting to see how it would get balanced out by Paulo when actually playing

I am 100 percent with you on preferring the JP line in that cutscene if only because it does feel more powerful (and his voice is SO soft, which is something that frequently gets completely lost in the dub in general. Mamoru carries a much softer tone overall for Flynn, similar to how Yuri's playfulness and carefree vibe got lost in favor of the dub's aim for a more "cool adult guy").

That said, I was not even aware they left the whistle out!!! I haven't bothered with that sidequest because the outfit is readily available for free as DLC.

While I enjoy having Flynn present in the last battle, I wish they'd just had him look back up at the sky and say that right next to Yuri right before the very end of the cutscene (since imo that'd be the best placement for it). No reason not to stick that back in!!!

But removing the whistle is just an outright crime and I am owed a fee from the people who decided that for the devastation I've been inflicted with.

I used to be such a fan of the eng dub but tbh ever since I experienced the original japanese (back when we still called it the PS3 Version lol) I never looked back. The wording is so, so, SO much more layered and leaves little room to misinterpret subtleties and subtext. Like you, I've had many gripes about the localization because sometimes they just plain insert stuff that was never there in the first place - iirc Troy Baker admited that apparently they rushed the dub so hard, sometimes the voice actors themselves were asked to chip in for the translation...he said he loved that (I'll bet), but that might explain why so much of the OG english script was already full of weird phrasings and insertions...add to that the even more sloppy and lazy DE localization and you get only half of the richness of the original japanese.

Also yes Mamo and Tori *are* Flynn and Yuri more than anybody ever could be. Sam and Troy do a good enough job but I agree that Troy may have been directed to play Yuri closer to a traditional "cool bad boy", which is hilarious given how the original Yuri is a twist on that very trope. Unfortunately, Troy gave him this uncharacteristically cold/aggressive edge whenever he talks to Flynn that it makes it sound like he's always annoyed to see him, and it strips their relationship of so much of the softness and playfulness that Tori lends Yuri.

Anyway enough about me ranting because I could go on for about 10 more hours about this issue lmao. Honestly yeah they very well could've rearranged Flynn's cutscene to fit in there at the end, like hell if you can change the entire camera angles of whole scenes you can change that one background, no?? Knowing Tomizawa though that might have been more effort than he was willing to grant this remaster - won't be his last time.

Same for the wolf whistling!! They replaced it with a skit that is just as funny...

🥳 Why did you start writing fanfic?

I don't think I remember!! I didn't write fic when I was younger, though I did read it lmao I was a late bloomer. I'm trying to recall whether it was CA:TWS or TRC which spawned the urge to write fic hehehe but okay! The thing was that I had been having a quite shit time creatively, and I thought that fic would be a way to overcome my creative drought! And it totally worked <3 and then the next creative drought I hit (thx lymphoma, you're a real one) was also beaten by fic writing! Incroyable!

✍️ What’s your ideal writing setup?

I like to have a playlist going of mostly instrumental songs which fit the tone/genre/vibe of what I'm working on. I like to light a candle, and definitely try to pick something which fits the setting of what I'm working on (I can't remember what I had for EIAT, but for white wine I had/have some summery scents like the ocean, mint, and citrus. For ASTTE I've been burning a lot of woody, spicy candles). I'll have a cup of tea that fits the vibe as well! Throughout EIAT I drank soooo much thyme tea. It all sounds a bit much, but it's about triggering sense memory for the writing headspace! Creating a zone that my brain recognises as the writing zone.

🎬 If a movie or show were based on your fic, which fic would you choose and who would you fancast?

Oughghghhh I have weird pretentious opinions about adaptations and the way it seems v popular amongst writers to want their work to be adapted and to have that as a goal, because I'm like. You wrote a book you didn't write a movie they are different things. But that's not the game, is it?? That's me being a killjoy, isn't it???

I would probably watch my current WIPs as films. White wine with those summery Greek island holiday vibes! ASTTE with opulent haunted Château sets and vaguely Victorian clothing! I always try to write very visually, but I think (and I've been told by my beta reader) that ASTTE is more specific with its imagery and does read as a bit cinematic.

Fancasts hmmm. Idk! I don't think I've seen anyone who truly fits what Damen and Laurent are like in my head. It's not just Damen's physicality for me, I have a very distinct idea of his features as being decidedly Mediterranean and Classical and I really don't see it in many fancasts.

I've latched onto Christina Hendricks as Joan Holloway as my Jokaste touchstone now:

...which is pretty wholly a body-type thing.

I also watched Inglorious Basterds with my beta reader recently, and from Christoph Waltz's very first scene, we were both like "Comte behaviour." He doesn't have a beard, but his flat, colourless eyes; his dangerous smile; the easy slip between affable and belittling and aggressive. Based on that performance alone, he is now in my head as the Comte/Regent.

Thank you my dear, I love these questions!! I'm maybe getting closer to being in a writing mood now hahahaha

Life Update June 2023

Okay, so I don’t typically do these really anymore; but so much stuff has happened recently that I feel like I kinda owe an explanation as to why I haven’t posted stuff I said I was gonna post; etc…

Firstly, I have gained a new hyper-fixation with the Murder Drones series on YouTube, to the point I have just spent an actual lump sum of money on merch; which is something I haven’t done since I was like 12ish… The show is a phenomenal work of art and it deserves more notice. I legit thought I wasn’t gonna like it at all, due to the anime chibi looking characters making me believe it would be garbage knock-off cheap anime bs, but it showed up in my recommends and I haven’t been able to stop watching it since.

I won’t keep gushing about that, as this is an update post, not a review posting lol, but I also have written an entire pmv script for this show and idk I’m in too deep now…

I have also had an infestation of field mice inside my home this month, which my dogs helped to uh… remove from the house. So that’s been a thing.

I’ve also been playing Pokémon Infinite Fusion, and kinda ended up making a too OP fusion of Charizard and Raichu, with a Blaze ability. Who would’ve thought having both immunity to burns and paralysis would work out so well? 10/10 Giovanni didn’t expect me to utterly destroy his legendary triple fusion with that combo lmao.

The Unicorn Warriors Eternal 2nd review will be coming out as soon as I can retrieve some decent footage/images of episodes 5-7. It’s not got as big of a dedicated fandom to it, so it’s harder to track down images of it. :/

I will briefly talk about my opinion of episodes 5 & 6, as I want to clarify that the plot does actually pick up the pace some in these episodes, but it’s still janky with the timing until the last five minutes of episode 6.

I could actually make out some of Tarkovsky’s handiwork in episode 6, but both episodes felt like each scene was created from a different time and art studio. Again, the cgi scenes don’t really blend/mesh well with the 2d drawn art; which I will do my best to breakdown in the actual review.

I did however figure out the main problem I’m having with the show overall. First and foremost; the dialogue. It doesn’t fit Tarkovsky’s usual signature, and feels wildly out of place with the serious plot/nature of events occurring in the show.

I’m not saying that no dialogue is better than a ton of dialogue at all; my point here is that the tone and rhythm of everyone’s speech is not matching the vibe of the scenes/plot/show and is 100% not what anyone from the early 1900’s Britain would sound or behave like. (Also still some weird British stereotypes going on that feel wildly out of left field.)

My second problem is the Popeye art style. This is not me just nitpicking here, again, it is so wildly out of place with the serious nature and tone of the show that it actually interferes with the style/flow of the show. I took a lot of issue with the young children in episode 5; they were drawn with massive muscles on dainty little girls, they looked like a mix between a dwarf and a shrunken Popeye. It was a bizzare image.

Anyways, I don’t have much more time to blab at the moment. I just wanted to stop by and give an update. I’ll eventually get around to more stuff soon. :3

Okay so this hc is gonna be comedy lol. Its the obey me brothers with an mc who is such a chav. A chav is basically a very popular British girl in British schools or anywhere it doesn't have be in school lol. If you're British you'll understand lmao. #chav

As you arrived in devildom you had a very salty look on your face. Your fake lashes falling off, your face looking disgusted and your orange foundation and dark contour stands out.

Lucifer: Lucifer will obviously be very annoyed and irritated. This human causes more chaos than mammon himself. She's too loud and petty. And not to forget, the litres of Victoria's secret perfume sprayed on herself and in her room. It killed his airways. Lucifer comes to her to scold her about spraying too much perfume in the house of lamentation until she replies "Oh my god bruv, it actually bare stinks in this room yeah, you lot need to know what hygiene is." With that, Lucifer got frustrated. "MC! DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CONTINUE TO SPRAY PERFUME IN THE HOUSE??! IT WILL DAMAGE THE AIR!!" "Okay and, I don't care fam. It still smells like clapped pussios." Lucifer gets more confused now. More and more confused. He don't know a single thing about British slang. But as time went on, the MC and lucifer did have a love hate relationship. In fact, Lucifer even wanted to visit London with MC.

Mammon: Being the second born tsundere, Mammon is obviously gonna be like, "Oi, I don't like ya, MC!" and then he blushes. But when the MC is like, "Okay and? You keep staring at me like a bare madman still. You're clapped anyways." Mammon got more confused. What is clapped? As soon as he finds out what it actually means, Mammon starts sobbing into his pillows every day and night. Although Mammon was an idiot, he was never insulted by someone he loved. Since all of his brothers treated him like shit and insulted him badly. He had to cope with that trauma. A few weeks later, the MC realises how much she's hurt his feelings. "Look bruv. I'm sorry, okay? Look, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings still. It's just that I grew up having to be a salty skept. Forgive me still." With that, Mammon is a bit skeptical but forgives mc. The next time any roadman try to shank MC up, Mammon is here with her in his demon form. And if any girl tries to steal Mammon away from the MC, MC will smoke them still.

Leviathan: Now we all know that Levi is always in his room, watching some random h3nt@1 shit or playing video games. And he probably didn't shower for weeks. And because of that, MC does laugh at him. "Oi you man. What the fuck did you do with your hair, why does it look like some purple bowl? Are you Justin Bieber on crack mate? You're butters! Take a shower as well, fam." With that, Levi was just like "w-well you're obviously not gonna l-like a-an o-otaku like m-me." I swear, this guy gives pick me boy vibes. But the second that Levi takes off his shirt and his toned, outlined 6 pack and chest is showing, the MC is more confused now and also intrigued. "O-oi, MC, s-stop l-looking at me!" "Alai, you're actually so fit icl. You're leng. Since when did you have a chocolate bar shaped body when you're in that prison all day just busting shit?? You're tasty, bruv." And with that, the two of them have hate love relationships again. Levi swears to protect the MC from the opps. And MC swears to scrap anyone who even steals her bf away.

Satan: Well, Satan does has anger and daddy issues. So don't fuck with him or else you'll get smoked by him innit. "Oi, you! Yeah you, you yeah! You look like Cat Noir from poundland still." With that, Satan gets angry. "Well at least I'm smarter than you, kid." He's a bit angry. "You're calling big man a kid?? Nah. I'm a big man, pussio. I'll chef you and your dad up, wait you have daddy issues lololol" Satan has turned intona green flash and then into his demon form. "WTF DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME, B***!! ILL FUCKNG BREAK YOUR NECK!!" Satan was destroying everything around him now. "Okay okay fam, calm down fam. No need to act mental and that, get a grip mate. Sorry fam. Geez, you're so sensitive blud." Throughout time, they're still enemies. Yeah.

Asmodeus: Asmo is gonna be the one that the MC hates the most. MC thinks that he's too feminine as a man. As Asmo applies a heavy amount of foundation, concealer, contour, blusher, face powder, glittery pink, orange and yellow eyeshadow, thick eyeliner, long long false lashes, highlighter, bronzer and purple lipstick, MC just looks at him, weirdly. "What the fuck are you doing, bruv? You look bare zesty." Asmo does not know a single thing about British slang so instead he says this. "Oh, sorry for stating the facts that I'm beautiful hun. You're just jealous that I can blend my contour and concealer better than you, you just look more orange than Donald trump, your crusty musty looking concealer lips." MC gets angry. "Oi, what the fuck did you just say to me, bruv?? Do you wanna scrap?? I'll smoke you fam, don't fuck with me innit." Asmo isn't scared at all. "Well try and do that, love. You won't be able to walk the next day, hun~~~ 😏" of course he's gonna be some horny ass mf.

Beelzebub: Tbh, I think MC would kind of get along with Beel. Yes, she would find it irritating that beel eats the whole fridge but still. I have a feeling tha MC would actually have a crush on Beel. "Oi, Ed Sheeran looking man! Yeah you! You're leng still! You look fit! Man eats the whole fridge and still has bare tits and biceps." And yeah, MC and beel just have a nice friendship. As time went on, Beel smoked more oops and roadmen who touched MC and MC scrapped any chav that would lay a finger on her bodybuilder bf.

Grumbot didn't really know what he was.

He wasn't a good robot. If he was a good robot, he wouldn't make mistakes. His computer would always be correct. He would be precise, accurate, and always give his dads the correct answer. That's the only thing he wanted to do--help them. And if he was a good robot, he would have the right answers.

But he didn't make for a good person either. He wasn't ever meant to be alive like this, was he? He saw the first time when he called his dads "dad" for the first time. Before, he had just used "creators" like he'd been programmed to. But that word didn't really encompass what he felt for them.

They'd been surprised. Open to it, but surprised. At the time Grumbot was just happy that they accepted it, but over time, in the late nights when his processor supposed to be on standby, he thought about it. He knew that having a family was a thing that people did. So he made himself a family, with two dads. But he wasn't really like them, was he?

People moved around, went places, socialized. Grumbot stayed stationary. There was a world around him but he had only a platform. They normally had voices to talk with; Grumbot just had text. They bled and lived and died and had warm bodies and....Grumbot just had a CPU that ran hot sometimes and wires for veins.

He could tell that when his dads looked at him, they just saw a robot. They were nice to him. They were kind to him. They spoke to him. But they treated him more like a tool than a son. They had built him to help them win the Mayoral campaign, and that was the only reason they ever stopped by to chat.

So maybe he was just a robot. A robot with two dads and an important job and computer for a brain and that was it.

Except machines weren't meant to want to be loved. They weren't meant to want anything.

Maybe if he was good enough to help his dad become mayor, then they'd love him back and he wouldn't have to worry about this anymore.

How about Team RWBY’s families?

We definitely have the families for Team RWBY, they’re the second important team in AZRE lmao

Both Ruby and Yang have the same family, since they’re, you know, sisters, so they’ll share this section together.

Taiyang Xialong is the still the dad for both Ruby and Yang, and his design doesn’t actually change from canon. The only things I changed with him is colouring issues.

His skin is obviously darker than what it looks in canon, even with the varying skin tones he has. Really, the cloest would be how he is in RWBY Chibi, since he’s considerably darker than his daughters and his RWBY counterpart. Plus, his hair is less desaturated and just lighter than Yang’s bright golden yellow, since it got lighter as he got older.

His eyes are also a more purplish indigo than the actual blue he has in the show.

The last thing is his pauldron on his shoulder. I changed it from silver to gold, since the silver metal clashed really badly with his overall warm pallete. Nothing too crazy for Tai’s redesign in AZRE, just a few bits and pieces so he’d look better in my vision.

I also gave him a little design for Beacon, just so he had a keychain with Summer for my sister and her fiance.

He still has the overall colour scheme as his older self, and uses reddish browns and oranges compared to Yang’s more stark black and reds. It makes him seem more warm and mellow to contrast the dangerous fire that Yang embodies. He also had an undercut.

I actually answered a whole ask for Summer’s design alone, you can find it here!

What I will say is that I primarily redesigned her so that she could both be Ruby’s mother and her own character, so her design has her with features that Ruby took (such as the hair and eye colour) while being different in other ways (she’s pale skinned, has wavy hair texture, and even her clothing style is, while gothic like Ruby’s, far more sexy.

Which is where Yang actually gets her fashion style from. Plus, the yin necklace is directly connected to Yang’s necklace, so Summer has something for both of her daughters regardless of her blood relation to Yang.

Raven was redesigned to move away from the Japanese style clothing, and play more into her Norse/Celtic allusion and naming. The in-universe reason I gave for them being in Anima is simple migration; the Branwen Tribe was originally from Northern Vale, like other Celtic inspired tribes such as the Ankou, before they migrated over the frozen seas to Solitas and Anima collectively.

So the Branwen tribe has their own fashion and culture to the majority in Northern Anima, especially since they actually travel across the entire continent rather than seemingly remaining up north.

But back to Raven specifically, I kept the mostly black and red colour scheme to contrast with Qrow’s lighter pallete, since it sells a more dangerous and deadly look for Raven in fitting to her character. She now also has a cape as a subtle connection to Summer, who she had a conflicting relationship with, and to add some more of a leader vibe to her now.

She still has the rainbow sheath, but her katana was swapped for a more European Carolingian sword, which were only used by those of higher status since they were more expensive to make; hinting to Raven’s higher status in her tribe.

Her sash over her stomach was also reminsicent of an obi, which does at least connect Raven to her home in Anima, but I added feathers and her emblem on it to connect her to her namesake. I think I’d redesign her bottom half honestly, it’s a bit plain and I’m not a fan of the shoes.

She obviously still has most of her characteristics; her pale skin, feather textured black hair, her red eyes, and her bandana. I also gave her face scars to add to the dangerous look and because I wanted to.

Qrow’s outfit is very much the same. I only added some details to give him a more dishevelled look, like his body hair/eyebags, and made his eyes the same red colour as Raven’s than the pinkish red he has in canon.

You can’t see it in the full body, but he wears a ring on his right hand that Winter gave to him.

It’s silver but with a green gem, to match her green eyes.

I actually haven’t designed him an Atlas outfit. I already talked about how I felt about his canon Atlas outfit, since I like how it looks but feel that the colouring brings it down, so I’m unsure on whether I’d take more inspiration from that and just make it more suitable for Atlas along with fixing the colouring.

Qinri Xiaolong is the only original character I made for the Xiaolong family, the one that appears anyway, who lives with Taiyang and his daughters. She thre great grandmother, but raised Taiyang as a child and so is seen more as his mother and grandmother of Ruby and Yang instead.

She lived before the Great War, and actually fought in it as a teenager, so her style of fashion is more of the traditional Tang Dynasty hanfu compared to her more western grandson and great granddaughters. Her blue and more water themed design is a contrast too, since she embodies the traditional chinese dragon with rivers and water compared to yang embodying the more western fire dragon.

Very much the grandparents who grew up in their native home compared to diaspora grandchildren.

The crests on her shoulders as well are the Taoist symbols, since she very much is a firm believers in the ancient ways rather than more modern beliefs that others might have.

Now that Ruby and Yang’s are done, we can move on to Weiss.

Weiss’ grandparents aren’t shown, and Nicolas himself is important, but I haven’t settled on a design for him yet. I like the idea of his red scarf, but his canon design with the armour looks a bit too out of place, especially for the more Victorian style I’ve put in Atlas. He might get a design, he might not, his appearance isn’t really that important since he’s already dead.

Biggest change for Jacques in AZRE is that his defining colour was changed from white to blue, so his design was changed to really bring this colour forward with the darker blues and greys to offset him from Weiss’ lighter blues and whites.

His all white business suit was changed for a more defined over coat and crevat, similar to what Willow wears, since Atlas as a city takes more after rich Victorian fashion. His sleeves also have his style of the Schnee emblem, while the belt buckle and shoulder pads have the traditional emblem. He’s very proud and adament to keep the Schnee family in power and continuing strong, so he slaps the emblem everywhere to show it.

The bottom of his coat tails also have white crystals on them, just like Willow and Weiss, to connect to his family business in Dust.

With his physical features, his blue eyes are still the same, which Weiss inherited, but his natural black hair is still shown, just greying with most already turning white to show his age.

Willow’s design is very similar with the purple vest, skirt and crevat, but I did change some things around so that Whitely and Weiss have aspects of her design in their own.

She has the shoe gems, crystal decals on her vest, and painted nails that Weiss obviously has in her Beacon outfit, while having the frilled sleeves and crevat that Whitley wears. I also have her eyes be indigo, which Whitley inherited rather than Jacques’ blue eyes. Willow’s hair is still naturally white, explaining Winter/Weiss/half of Whitley’s.

Not much to say since I kept it so similar, just adding bits to connect her to her children.

Winter’s AZRE outfit had changed from her canon ones, mostly so that her uniform is closer in style to the uniforms worn by other upper ranks in the army.

Now her story is different in AZRE than in RWBY, since I combined my Winter Watts! AU with AZRE to have this Winter who stays in Atlas rather than being taken by Watts in her backstory. This is why she has tanned skin and green eyes rather than her canon pale skin and greyish blue eyes. It also makes her only Weiss and Whitley’s half sister.

Now her outfit still has the white coming through with the large overjacket and fur trimmed boots, but she also uses more darker blues than Weiss, with the royal blue and periwinkle, very similar to Jacques’ blues than Weiss’ ice blue. She can try to cover up his effect on her but it’s still just under the surface.

Similar to Jacques, I gave Whitley a bit of a redesign to move away from the boring vest and tie, so now he’s obviously taken heavily from Jacques’ own design, since Whitely really doesn’t have a say in what he wears.

He’s also the Mirror to Weiss’ Snow White in AZRE, so he has the mirror in his crevat, along with the gem having the colours seen in the mirror in the Snow White Disney movie. The inside of his coat is also the same shade of purple that Willow wore, so while Jacques dresses Whitley up to be a mini him, Whitley does keep some bits of Willow.

Especially since Whitley is the only one to inherit Willow’s indigo eyes, and has split black/white hair. I just wanted to make sure he wasn’t a copy of Weiss like the Schnee siblings are in RWBY.

Klein is considered part of Weiss’ family, but his design is still the same in AZRE since I liked it enough and couldn’t be bothered redesigning him.

The one original character for Weiss’ family is actually Winter’s daughter; Winijay, or Jay for short. I don’t have a design for her as a child, but here’s her design as an adult.

I had actually drawn her before starting AZRE, so her design hadn’t changed from it all that much. She very much has Winter’s features, skin tone, and eyes, but Qrow’s black hair and fashion sense, since she’s closer to Qrow than she is to Winter and idealises her father.

Still, the sleeves are similar to the sleeves of Winter’s first canon outfit, and her boot was changed from the all blue thigh high to a fur trimmed black one instead, since it contrasts with the mostly blue prosthetic. Her colour scheme is meant to mimic the blue jay, another corvid like Qrow.

She’s actually one of my favourite designs, I’ve always loved Jay’s look.

Finally, there’s Blake’s family. Hers is actually the smallest, since most of her family members actually died before she was born, and her mother was an orphan who joined the White Fang just as it started.

Both Ghira and Hajimu were done here for Adam’s section, since they’re his adoptive parents.

But there is one more person who wasn’t included for Adam, since she died just before he was adopted and never got to meet him.

Chandra Devi is Blake’s paternal grandmother and where both she and Ghira get their Indian heritage from, since Aurelé is French. She came from Eastern Anima originally, similar to Kaanchana and Sienna, where she and Kaanchana take inspiration from Haryana clothing specifically.

Since she’s connected to the moon, her colour scheme reflects that with the pale whites/blues and blacks, plus her moon patterns on her headdress. She also has the bindi as a married woman, similar to Sienna having the same bindi.

Really, I designed her to take heavily from Ghira and Blake, she’s the one with the black hair and panther traits, as she has the ears, slit pupils, and claws that her son and granddaughter have as well. Though, the gold eyes came from Aurelé rather than her, since Chandra has purple eyes instead, and she’s noticebly more darker skinned than Ghira and Blake.

As a HH/HB fan, I have a confession about Stolitz: I fell out of the ship. I like some of the fanart, but at the same time...it irks me a bit? Idek. I just don't like it anymore. And the EPISODES. Oh God lemme just—

Seeing Stars was cute...but Helluva Boss ain't supposed to be cute: don't get me wrong, loved the Loona and Octavia interaction, but the whole episode lacked...something. (also I'm going to bring up the fact the the Harvest Moon Festival is actually bad, like fr...) tbh, I wanted to see more potential out of the latest episode than what we received. Like... not all HB fans want a Stolitz plot/drama/overturn for a majority of the series.

I, for one, don't want the Stolitz content yet. Well-written relationships/character growth is more important than forcing a toxic relationship upon us. Plus, it [Stolitz] doesn't have to be sexual!! It can work up to a better thing, or hell, I wouldn't oppose to them ending up as just friends, in the end! A bit of pining, but friends nonetheless. (watch the Stolitz stans come after me LMAO)

Plus: the childhood lovers thing in The Circus. It was...kinda weird? I watched it with my family, and they thought it was, like Seeing Stars, cute...but it just didn't fit. My dad said that it got a little weird after a few more minutes of the childhood flashback; which I understand completely! It made me feel weird too.

Overall...yeah I'm not enjoying this as much as I should LMAO

TL;DR: criticism against Stolitz, the episodes, etc., etc..

Hope this is okay (: love your critiques on HH and HB!! It's refreshing to see content addressing the flaws, problems, and more. (And I apologize on behalf of some of the fans that don't take criticism!)

All I can say is:

1. Your Dad has a good conscience.

The episode literally had Blitz taken from his home, being told to rob the royal family, and trying to use this to show them as “great childhood freind’s” to try to guilt trip you into. being ok with the show making “love” merch of said relationship current time showing the complete opposite of what the show is trying to say. Not questioning Stolas’s classism in the slightest and trying to show them as “end game” on top of it. Ew… :(

2. Falling out is completely understandable.

Ive seen people who like the fanon version, but then get turned off by the toxic fandom.

So understandable.

3. The problem isn’t really it being “cute”, but throwing itself off from the main story so much, and in such a out of touch way too.

(Just realized that the term “tone deaf” gives ableist vibes, so i’ll try not to use that from now on.)

4. Despite what the fandom says, it’s ok if you don’t enjoy it as much, its ok to not 100% like something that you enjoy.

5. They could have easily had them grow naturally. Instead, they used that one scene in “The Circus” as a substitute for chemistry in their relationship. They didn’t put the effort into actual chemistry, and barely, if not almost never hold said toxic relationship accountable or actually encourage change. It felt so forced, still does, especially for Seeing Stars.

So overall- completely understandable as to why you feel this way. Hope that you and your family had fun watching the show! 😄

I've struggled to accept compliments and to be confident, so I really want to get to the same level you are one day. Thank you in advanced, and many kisses for miss Aphrodite 🫶🫶

Hello darling !! I'll try to do my best to tell you what works for me aside from just 'be yourself' lmao Side note most of these tips are regarding confidence in physical appearance, since that is where most of my own confidence stems from.

Real talk tho confidence is like,,, smthn that does take some work to get. When I wasn't as confident as I am rn, one of the things that helped me grow confident & learn to be more accepting of compliments is to act confident. When I used to be a model, some of the basic advice we were given to appear confident in whatever we wore was to have straight posture, keep your eyes level, chin up, place your whole foot on the floor with each step and walk at a casual pace that is neither too fast nor too slow. Acting confident might not immediately give you confidence, but in my experience, it sort of made me get used to the feeling of appearing confident so much to the point that i just kind of eventually became confident, and compliments become easier to accept.

Dressing up in a way that you like and in clothes that make you feel like hot shit really helps tbh

Being less self-deprecating and more complementary towards yourself helps too! Before, to help me feel more confident, I used to try to compliment myself in the mirror. Some days when I was grasping for something to say abt my features, I'd instead compliment things like my jewelry or nails or makeup or my clothes or smthn. Doing smthn like that is a small thing and honestly from an outsider's perspective it could seem vain or stupid but lmao who fucking cares imo that shit builds up over time and it really helps.

Being around people who match your vibe is good because imo when you're around people who won't just give you a generic 'oh yeah you look good' but will say smthn like 'your top is really cute! the fit really suits you and the color really compliments your skin tone' or smthn like that it makes you feel fucking amazing

Learn what your angles are. This is super important because sometimes (from my experience at least) a terrible fucking photo could be a real hit to your low confidence. And like obvi everyone has a good angle and then a great angle, and it just takes some posing in a mirror and some trial and error to see what looks good. Using those angles in your own photos or in photos with friends can make you look and feel absolutely fuckin fire.

I’ll jsut,,, end that there bc lowkey I think I was starting to stray a teeny bit from the original ask towards the end HAHAHA I hope these help though? Keep in mind that these are just what worked for me so I can’t say for certain that these will work for everyone, but I still hope that they could help somehow!

Realistically speaking, there's 2 routes that I see as far as a canon portrayal- either Felix-muse would be casual buddies with who the ship partner was and fanon would ship them, Or, the relationship would be an offhand and casual confirmation. I don't exactly see the series that I indulge with turning into some dating sim or even focusing on it, even if a tastefully done romance subplot would be nice; I feel like these franchises are perfectly capable of portraying it well, but it's unlikely due to mass appeal/childsafe* appeal. (*even if some kids wanted romance in their stories, their parents might not. especially huge companies like pokemon that're in the public eye.) My favourite series are never really romance-based, I ship within the confines of a bigger adventure.

Sans and Villager! Felix would probably have smash-based shenanigans, or maybe, an interaction at his hotdog stand. ....Come to think of it, probably with the same vibes as anything canon-soriel. Perfectly Platonic,....or is it? leading to shitposting (positive) in the shipping community. Smash itself does like to have fun with subtle implications- charizard handing pikachu a flower, villager inviting Wii Fit to his 'bachelor pad'; things that don't confirm a ship outright but could be a cheeky hint of evidence. Or, we have some weird spirit board valentine's day event to confirm shit, lmfao-

Meanwhile, for Pokemon stuff...It really is hard to say because Felix is a protagonist character. Generally speaking, Everything the protagonist gets involved with story-wise is this big huge thing; There is a chance that the ship would be baked into the story dramatics, during a swelling point of the action itself. It's the question of whether they go Big and follow the protagonist vibe, or go home and follow the general pokemon vibe with romance; shipping in-series generally happens to less important people, as an offhand mention. So, you'd either start off in a ship as this canon's partner while the game was still calm, get together dramatically™️within the story, or have the ship canonized in postgame/future content, like some offhand mention in masters. Also, I feel like whatever we got, fans would bitch about it as well.

The 'worst' would probably be the anime; it'd show a couple in their calm period (like Blossom's parents) with a merely implicit wholesome romance that isn't too on-the-nose, or.....something extremely awkward. They've made a lot of homophobic jokes in the past, so I'd imagine it would have a baby ally's sense of humor- in the 'oh my god they're Gay Congratulations!' sort of sense.

tl;dr, pokemon's sense of seriousness tends to be all or nothing, lmao, so I'd be surprised if it was anything mid or nuanced, for better or worse! <3

well, the canon gay/transness would be a 'hoo Woof' moment, so for lack of a better word, my gender??? I could see someone leaning hard one way or the other with the masc/femme stuff, popular/outcast kinda dynamic. I feel like there's mostly just a potential for mismatched tone; but it'd be more series relevant than mun relevant as far as the dissonance. which happens anyways with fandom. I feel like possibly, people might overexaggerate the effect being trans has on his life, while underexaggerating how he feels about it, or vice versa in the case of bad faith from transphobes. TL;DR I've had more people call me brave than actually had to be brave. most transphobia i deal with is subtle/unintentional, but fandom would either make it a non-issue, or a huge issue.

.....i don't trust most Fandom™️ with the concept of a vers switch, much less series ability to showcase it, so I'd assume casual observers to pick more concrete hetnorm roles- he'd be assigned the 'husband' or 'malewife' of the ship depending on which traits the shipper picked up about him. This would be understandable but possibly annoying/incorrect. this could also extend to writing him as primarily mean or naive, if the fan was going for a flat character. (the character himself has temptations/instinct to weaponize both of these, regardless of his final decision outwardly.)

possibly make Felix over-capable/high energy. It's kinda hard to write true laziness or introversion and have it be actually interesting. ergo. If you know how to improvise as well as i do, it can come off as professionalism/expertise. He's more of a ditto in that way-

on the positive side, people would come up with interesting shit that's on-brand for him and not have writer's block about it. There'd probably be stories and art all about the villager trying to master his transformation powers, or the trainer with some random pokemon. Or, assuming Felix is a real character in a Thing, come up with their own ships for him with Situations-

SOOOOOOOO in my most recent shadamy fic, i had them go to an indie neo-soul concert instead of Honet Pot or whatever tf that band was in MoStH. and thats because i had just gone to a Liv.e concert and wanted to incorporate that into the story since it was an AMAZING concert, plus the genre fit the vibes/tone i was going for moreso than a peppy pop singer :) and also i want more ppl to listen to her cuz shes phenomenal. my taste in music is superior, pls trust me on this

for the ongoing surgeamy fic i'm in the midst of writing, all of surge's dialogue and inner thoughts are what i say to myself when im having a bad bpd episode. and everything amy says to her is what i wish someone would say to me when i get bad. i see myself in both of them!! i kinda view them as my dark side thats angry and full of self hatred and my brighter side thats loving and sweet and compassionate!!

the one shot surgeamy fic was a rewrite of an old catradora fic that now seems awkward and weird when i look back on it lol. the setting and plot fits surgeamy soooo much better tho. originally i wrote it when i was pining hard for this girl who was my good friend, who kept getting fucked over by lame guys, and i wanted to swoop in like captain save a hoe like the raging bisexual i am lol. she ended up being super toxic and narcissistic tho so i dodged a bullet 🌚

when i wrote the amnesia sonamy fic, it was going to be TOTALLY different from the final draft. i was actually going to have amy lead sonic through her mind, but i didnt think it would hit as hard emotionally so i changed it to have her actively fighting against him, to depict her internal conflict of trying to forget him + trying to preserve her memories of him. i kinda wanna make an alternate ending or even another separate amnesia fic, but that shit was difficult to write so im gonna wait on that lmao.

in pieces of cloud, i realized i lowkey kin amy skfhsjd. i projected so much of myself into her character, from her bpd diagnosis (that no one has noticed yet cuz its such a small detail hehehe) to her fear of abandonment & anxious attachment style. all of that was taken from me and my personal real life experiences!! AND the therapist's dialogue is everything my current therapist tells me when i'm having an episode! its good advice so i wanted to share it 💗 and also heal amy cuz I LOVE HER (just like i love me! 🩷) also im still debating on writing an epilogue for it!! wanted a post frontiers scene but not sure if that would add anything to the story or not!

boom boom into my heart was supposed to be like 25 chapters, but after trying to write a few "fillers" i realized i hated them and they lacked the passion and excitement of earlier chapters. so i ended it early when i thought it felt more natural. im kinda bummed i couldnt stretch the slow burn a little longer, but i also didnt wanna drag it out or have it become boring just for the sake of being longer. does that make sense?
