Why did my husband's mail in ballot come in the mail today but not mine

#i love utah's mail in voting system #EVERYONE that is registered to vote is automatically sent a mail in ballot #so you can vote early and send it in #and if you forget to mail it in you can take it to any polling box on election day #but i want my ballot so i can vote against the stupid proposal to split the local school district #the prop is literally a lose lose for everyone but proponents are framing it as a self sufficiency thing #basically saying that poor kids dont deserve educational funding from rich people in orem ut

early voting is happening now and trust me it is lovely to walk into a polling station be the only one there to vote and get in and out quickly but not in a rush! lots of polling places are even open on the weekend!

check your local supervisor of elections to get all the details on voting where you live or use vote.org!

not registered to vote? some states let you register as late as the day of the election (nov 8th)

make a plan for voting and follow through with it! spend an hour or two with a friend researching the candidates and legislation and mark your sample ballot (which you are allowed to bring into the voting booth). keep each other accountable!

voting in local elections, midterms, and primary elections are all important for making a difference in your local community, your state, and the country as a whole. ik most ppl just vote in the presidential election but all elections matter and if you can vote, you should!

if voting didn't matter, people wouldn't be trying so hard to stop you from doing it!

I find it kind of strange how American lefties have kind of... forgotten about voting indp? Like I know they dont get shit done and one of them is the libertarian party but like. Why not the stupid disco elysium ass other parties?

I know for el presidente its different because you have to register for party and then choose this one guy to do the same thing as basically all the other guys. Also did they forget that like you can have political engagement other than voting? And if voting is such a zero sum game, then does it really matter? It's kind of in this situation where it feels like the president has an extreme amount of power but also it's a theatre democracy and also vote for the elephant party because they hate you less than the other stupid shitty party! My stakeaway; vote blue iguess for john biden or the woman. Support efforts to balkanize countries. Support state devolution. Attack infrastructure not people (if you want ig). Send your reps yiff until they comply with your demands. Move into the woods. Start a mass movement against the remaining youth. Watch as they flee the cities for what remains of the countryside. Teach them ironworking and making twine.

danny phantom, season 3, episodes 1-2 thoughts!
