I just bought Downton Abbey: A New Era earlier today so now I have the series and both movies although I got both movies at great prices when I got them considering the fact that I have a membership at a store. With my discount, I got it for less than $30 so I loved Downton Abbey: A New Era when I saw it in the movie theater and knew I had to have it plus the series too since I already had the first movie. I just love the franchise as a whole although Robert and Cora along with Matthew and Mary plus Tom and Sybil along with Carson and Hughes will always be my favorite couples in the franchise. #downtonabbey #downtonabbeyanewera #downtonabbeyanewera2022 https://www.instagram.com/p/Cfoz1JauSD-nr8ilCvLHRdAP-4Z6dfuK6WYz4k0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Am I a bad queer for not liking Barrow's "happily ever after"? #DowntonAbbey #DowntonAbbeyANewEra
For the most part I actually liked this movie better than the first. As much as I loved the additions of Imelda Staunton and Tuppance Middleton to the cast, I never felt particularly invested in the A-plot of the visit from George V and Queen Mary. There were a few too many cheeky nods to the meta for me but at least the disparaging comments about actors were entirely in character. Maggie Smith…
