DP x DC x DW crossover idea
Cadmus, using DNA samples of Superman and the Doctor that they’ve collected over the years, creates a Kryptonian/TimeLord clone hybrid. The clone, DNY-13, looks a lot like Superman while also having two hearts/binary vascular system. Sometime when the clone is about 4 or 5 he escapes from the lab. A portal to the infinite realms had opened up and the clone managed to wander into it without anyone noticing.
Clockwork, who’d opened the portal, was waiting on the other side for the clone. Clockwork then drops the clone off right outside the Fenton’s front door, rings the bell, and disappears. The Fenton’s find this tiny little toddler just standing on their front step and instantly fall in love with him. They bring him inside and look him over. He appears to be in perfect health, though the double heart beat is a bit odd. And he has a medical ID bracelet that declares him to be DNY-13, property of Cadmus, and the year of birth being almost thirty years in the future.
The Fenton’s decide to ignore the bracelet, cutting it off and hiding it away in one of their filing cabinets. They decide to name the tiny child, Danny, and quickly introduce him to his big sister Jazz. Danny grows up with the Fenton’s never knowing that he’s a clone hybrid of two different aliens. (Also in this au this is one of the reasons why Dani was so unstable when she was first created. Cause she was the clone of a clone that is half Kryptonian and half TimeLord. Something that Vlad didn’t know).
It isn’t until about five years after he becomes Phantom that he finds his old Cadmus medical ID bracelet in one of the filing cabinets in the ops center. He asks his parents about it and they finally tell him about how they found him on their doorstep when he was 4/5. Danny decides to consult Clockwork where he finds out that he was a clone created by Cadmus sometime in the future, and that Clockwork rescued him from them and gave him to the Fenton’s.
After finding this out, Danny decides to go searching for the two aliens who he was created from!

Doctor Who x Danny Phantom
"All and time and space he said. Let's go to a planet full of 'magic' he says. Shouldn't be much trouble. WELL HOW'S THIS FOR TROUBLE!?!?", Donna Noble shrieks at her friend, the Doctor, as they ran down the metal corridor of some facility on the planet called Amitesh.
A planet that has nothing but stuff of magic, spirits, and other wonders that is a sacred part of their daily life and religion. Unfortunately, the Doctor had to ruin it for Donna, telling her it's not really magic, but the planet's own physiology mixed with these people's own version of science creates an result in which it's like it actually was magic.
The Doctor did admit that his particular planet got it closest to what magic could possibly be. But the Time Lord remained adamant that magic does not exist.
Fortunately, Donna basically ignored the Doctor and just wandered off, staring at anything and everything. For the two were lucky enough to land in the middle of a festival. Amitesh's magic being showcased for all to see and appreciate.
Which leads back to the two's current actions.
"How was I supposed to know that the world ended because of a cult that believes in such a thing like a 'Ghost King'!?", the Doctor shouts back incredulously as they ran to stop said cultists.
"If you say it in such a way that suggests there is no Ghost King, why are we running to stop them?", Donna asks just as the duo practically screech to a halt to a thick door, the last remaining obstacle between them and the summoning.
"Don't you remember what I told you earlier?", the Doctor explains in a rush as he works on the door with his sonic screwdriver, "The planet's own location and physiology is what makes magic for these people possible. Now multiply that by the centuries of said locals using the magic more and more, both them and the planet becoming accustomed to the energies that can only increase over time and evolve so as to become apart of the people and the planet's core. There may be no Ghost King, but something big, and something dangerous is going to come out of this summoning and we need to stop it."
"Oh my God.", Donna gasped, as she then waves the Doctor to hurry, "Well get on with it and open the door already!"
"What do you think I've been doing!?", the Doctor shouts back, "Now if I can just get- Ah HAH!!"
The door opened, the Doctor and Donna took no time rushing in, only to come to a screeching halt at the sight before them. They entered the room just as the lead cultists, who's also the planet's lead researcher, Taariq Novak, and one of the first few to have greeted the Doctor and Donna upon their arrival to Amitesh. slit the throat of one of his own, Donna couldn't help scream and jump from the sudden action.
With life quickly leaving his eyes, his life flowing from his neck like a river, and the now dead cultist's body fell to the ground. Landing within the intricately made circle, and the moment the blood touched the lines carved into the metal floor, the circle glowed a bright toxic green.
"We're too late.", the Doctor breather as he and his companion could only stare as the summoners celebrated their success.
The wind began to pick up, whipping the cultist robes, the Doctor's coat, and Donna's flaming red hair.
"We have to get out!", the Doctor shouts over the wind, "Out! Everyone out! Now!"
But no one listened.
Donna and the Doctor couldn't drag them out, so they ran. But the door slammed shut just before they could get out. Donna slammed her fists and body against the door while the Doctor tried to work on it again with his screw driver, only to growl as he grips his hair in near desperation.
"It's a deadlock! I can't get us out!", the Doctor shouts.
"What do we do then!?", Donna cries out, "There's got to be something!"
The Doctor turns back to the circle just as unidentifiable green liquid bursts from the summoning circle, swirling around over it as if it was it's own mini hurricane or tropical storm.
"Hope and try to talk our way out of this.", the Doctor whispers as he grips Donna's hand tightly.
For his comfort, or hers. He's not quite sure, nor does have the time or willing to try and figure that out.
A bright light shined beneath the goopy liquid something seemed to be rising from the circle, a form or figure. When, suddenly, a giant, spindly, dark clawed hand slammed on to the floor, the claws digging into the floor, causing deep marks to appear from them. The hand is about the same size as the cultists', Donna, and the Doctor themselves.
The hand pushed down, creating a large dent in floor, added with the scratch marks from the claws, and something climbed up and out of the portal.
Loud moaning echoed in their ears, everyone clutched their hands to their heads in hopes of keeping the horrid noise out. But it did little to help. The liquid that was the first to burst through the portal suddenly fell to the ground, as if like a puppet with its strings cut off. But the thing didn't seem bothered by the goop as it just slid off it like water.
There is no more bright light coming from within the circle, but the circle itself is still glowing a soft toxic green, not as bright as it was before the summoning first started, but, aside from the thing that was just summoned, it served as the now dark room's only source of light.
With the wind and blinding light gone, everyone was now able to get a good look at what was something. It can only be described as an eldrich horror. It towered over them, it's arms to be somehow longer than it's body, it's clawed hands larger than it's own head, and larger than the people standing in the room as well. Their whole body seemed to be made between a mix of pure darkness and the many constellations of the universe, glowing green 'veins' can be seen at the creatures forearms, chest, calves, and neck. It's eyes are large circular, and just glowing toxic green, like the circle at the beginning of the summoning, and it's mouth similar, no lips or anything, the jagged black teeth matched it's body and attached with no covering of any sort unlike other humanoid shaped formed.
Donna clutched tightly to the Doctor, whom as seen Satan, genocide, army of Daleks, and many more horrors. And yet, this has been the most scared he has ever felt since his youth.
This, is something else that the Doctor has never before seen. But within the fear, the Doctor also feels excitement. He's ecstatic, this, nothing ever seen before. A creature beyond time and knowledge, something he doubted any of the Time Lords have ever seen or known before either.
"All hail Pariah Dark!", Taariq suddenly shouts, looking the picture perfect description of euphoric while the rest of his followers knelt and bowed to the creature they have successfully summoned.
"Hail!", the rest of the cultists shout back.
The creature, Pariah Dark these people had called it, seemed to be looking over its surroundings and studying the people slowly. As if taking in where it is and what it's going to do next.
Long moan, almost as if the creature were a whale, reverberated throughout the room. The only difference between a whale and this, is the whale's sound enchanting, while this thing made everyone shiver, hairs raising up, and everyone, even the excited cultists, felt nothing but fear for a moment.
"Pariah Dark! King of the Infinite Realms!", Taariq shouts, "We have summoned you here for your judgement and leadership! We have freed you from your imprisonment inside of the tomb others who have feared you and your power trapped you inside. Now we ask of you to take your rightful place as this world's rightful ruler, with us at your side!"
"They summoned this... this thing just so they can rule and gain power!?", Donna whispers to the Doctor in a quiet shriek, "What the hell's the matter with them?"
The Doctor almost rolled his eyes in agreement. Some things never change, no matter the world or time you travel to. And people call him mad... although they aren't wrong.
But before the Doctor could whisper anything back in reply, the creature suddenly turned towards them. It's glowing swirling lights for eyes seemed to freeze two in place, for no matter how much the Doctor wished to run, even if there was a escape route available to them, the Doctor doubt either he or Donna could run with the way this creature's stare seemed to pin them in place.
Taariq quickly noticed the creature's inquisitive stare upon the travelers, and answered its silent question almost proudly.
"These two were against you mi'lord.", Taariq informed the creature, pointing at the Doctor and Donna theatrically, "They dared to try and stop us! Stop you from rising! But we were lucky enough, clever enough to keep them away just in time to free you."
The creature hummed, still staring at the Doctor and Donna appraisingly.
"What shall be done with them my lord?", another cultist asked, looking more curious than disturbed by the creature's appearance.
The creature turned back to it's followers, its grim jagged mouth forming what looked to be a sinister smile.
"Lucky...", the creature said, the word coming out garbled and echoed in the near silent room.
"M-my lord?", Taariq asked, confused by the pool of dread that began to fill his entire being as he silently cursed himself for the stutter.
"It was lucky... that you summoned Me."
And before anyone could react or say a thing, like a snake, the creature struck. Sending men flying as they screamed their terror with just simple back hand. No, backhand isn't exactly the right word for what he did. For the creature barely flicked his wrist, and more than half of the cultists were airborne, crashing to the walls and floors. None getting up after quickly falling into the grip of unconsciousness.
Another swipe, more cultists flew through the air, leaving only the Doctor, Donna, and the lead cultist standing with the terrifying being.
"But, but why!?", Taariq cried, now looking terrified as he looked up to the creature for answers.
As he should be. Despite Taariq Novak's accomplishments and prowess as a researcher and inventor, the Amiteshian has no idea what he had unleashed.
Or who he could have unleashed if things have been any different.
"We did everything right! The ritual! The Sacrifice!", the lead cultist shouted in fear and desperation, "What did we do to offend you my lord Pariah Dark! What Did We Do!?"
The creature took pause, looking down at the humanoid with a blank expression, no one, not even the Doctor, knew what was going on through the creature's mind.
"You... summoned me...", the creature hissed.
"W-w-what of it?", the cultist stuttered, "Did we perform the ritual wrong? If so, please! Allow me to correct my mistake."
But the creature spoke as if the cultist didn't say anything.
"You summoned me to DESTROY.", it growled menacingly, orbs narrowing in anger and distaste at the sight of Taariq quivering.
"Isn't, isn't, i-isn't.", Taariq gulped, trying to collect himself in order to speak properly through his fear, "Isn't that what you do? Isn't that what Pariah Dark does."
The temperature in the room lowered rapidly, turning to freezing. Donna huddled closer to the Doctor, her body shivering from the freezing temperature, but the two travelers could not look away.
The creature leaned down, almost crouching, so that he and Taariq were barely inches apart. Taariq could only shiver and shake in anticipation as waited for the thing's answer.
It's next words caused terror to strike Taariq's very core.
"Who ever said that I was Pariah Dark?"
"Wh-w-who are you then?", Taariq managed to wheeze, fear filling ever bone of his much smaller body.
"P H A N T O M.", the creature hissed.
Donna quickly squeezed her eyes tightly shut and shoved her face in to the Doctor's arms as Taariq's screams loudly echoed in her ears, her head. She wouldn't be surprised if they echoed in her nightmares later that night.
If she and the Doctor manages to get out of this alive, that is.
For the next couple of minutes, there was silence. Donna's body remained tense as she expected some sort of blow or for the Doctor to start running his gob in order to try and talk them out of this terrifying mess.
But nothing.
Slowly, the human opened her eyes and looked up to see that the creature 'stood' a couple of feet in front of them, Taariq's body out of view behind it. It's glowing orbs for eyes seemed to be dimmer now, it's horrifying maw closed, looking sealed shut, as if the creature never had a mouth in the first place.
And that's when Donna felt it, an aura, or feeling, encasing the room. Comfort, warmth, and protection surrounded the two travelers. The Doctor could only stand there, looking up at the creature with wide eyes, filled with fascination and awe, for he could obviously feel the same thing. Donna just let herself sink into the comfort provided, her eyes contently sliding shut again as she sighed.
Then her eyes suddenly furrowed as her picked up something else within the room.
"Is it... purring?", Donna couldn't help but ask incredulously.
"Oh yes.", the Doctor grinned at his answer and Donna's question.
The two looked back up the creature, now both no longer fearful, but still cautious about what it's next move would be. Obviously, it's not Pariah Dark, the King of Ghosts, just like the Doctor said from the beginning. But it was still summoned here to destroy and rule, so what will it do next after taking down it's summoners.
What id did next surprised them.
Which seems to be a reoccurring pattern lately.
The creatures form suddenly lifted up and wrapped around it almost like a live cloak or blanket and folded in on itself. The creature's form shrunk more and more, ending up smaller than Donna, until a new, humanoid, form took shape, and the darkness and constellations receded to reveal a floating boy, a teenager no older than fifteen, the door behind the Doctor and Donna shedding light on the boys features.
He has white hair, and black and white hazmat suit, glowing toxic green eyes, a white cloak, black ring with a brilliant red gem as it's main focus, and a black crown, floating above his head, encased in flickering green flames that seemed to match the boy's eyes.
"Hi there.", the boy greeted easily.
"Who-? What-?", Donna could only gape while the Doctor's grin got wider and wider by the second.
"Oh that's brilliant.", the Doctor could only say, his eyes alight with his shining grin.
"What the bloody hell are you!?", Donna shouts, feeling exhausted and so very very confused over all that has happened in the last... five minutes?
It felt like this whole confrontation has lasted for days.
The Doctor winced a little, but didn't scold Donna, knowing exactly how she's feeling, it's kinda similar to how he assumed she felt on their first adventure together with the Racnoss.
"Sorry about her, rough day.", the Doctor explains, "Anyways, I'm the Doctor and this is Donna. What's your name and, well yeah, what are you? For curiosities sake."
"I'm Danny Phantom. King of the Infinite Realms and the summonee of these fruit loops.", Danny introduced himself as if this was the most normal thing in the universe.
"The Infinite Realms are real?", the Doctor gaped, "But-but that's impossible. It's supposed to be a myth!"
Danny just shrugged, "You'd think so with all the stories circling it. A lot of it just exaggerations, they're too crazy to be true, or they are just plain wrong."
"How much of it is true?", the Doctor asked eagerly.
Danny opened his mouth, then shut it with a confused look on his face.
"I actually don't know.", Danny responds as held his chin with a thoughtful look on his face.
"How can you not know?", Donna asked, "Aren't you the king?"
Danny rubs the back of his neck sheepishly, "Yeah, I just became King a little less than a year ago after defeating Pariah Dark in single combat. And the name is pretty literal the Infinite Realms are, well, Infinite, I have a lot to catch up on and I haven't even made a dent, much less a scratch so far."
"This is amazing.", the Doctor breathes before he began to mutter to himself on theories on which stories that he has heard or been told could be true and what it could mean.
"Wait, hold on, Pariah Dark?", Donna repeated, "You mean the supposed Ghost King that these bozos were trying to summon."
"Oh he was the Ghost King just, again, defeated him in single combat now I'm King.", Danny raised a confused brow, "I literally just said that."
"But-but there's no such thing as ghosts.", the Doctor almost shouts.
Danny just stared at them with an almost dead panned look.
"Who or what did you think lives in the Infinite Realms then?"
Silence followed his question. The Doctor looked like he was struggling to understand something for once.
"But, then, do you not age?", Donna asks, "Are all of you dead?"
Danny just smiles patiently, "A lot of them died, yes, but there are just as many that were born or created there too. You'd be surprised."
Donna let out a sound that was between a scoff, snort, and a laugh, "Trust me, we are."
"But what about you?", the Doctor asked gently, "Were you born or did you died."
Danny looks down at the Doctor, his expression neutral as he answered, "I died. At the age fourteen, I died in an accident at my parents lab in our basement. They haven't even realized it yet."
For a moment, the Doctor said nothing, for what could he truly say to some one who has died at such a young age. A child.
There's not much you really can say except, "I'm sorry."
"What are you apologizing for?", Danny asked, the Doctor didn't answer, nor did Donna, "I know I died young. Took me a while to actually get that I died in the first place."
Danny looked down at his shoes before looking up at the Doctor, his eyes glistening. Barely there, barely noticeable, but there. And the Doctor couldn't help by empathize, for isn't what this boy has gone through similar to what the Doctor has when he regenerates?
"Do you know how that feels?", Danny asked, his voice wobbly with emotion and he desperately tried to hold back his tears.
Donna couldn't say a thing, because no. She didn't understand, probably never will, and... Donna thinks she never wants to either.
But the Doctor... he understood. The Time Lord is pretty sure this boy-warrior, boy king, this child, doesn't realize how much the Doctor truly understands.
For just like the Doctor had ten times before, this boy has died, and then woke up and walked away as someone else. The Doctor has died and walked away as many people. But at the core, he always was the Doctor, yet he was still someone new. Danny Phantom is no different.
"I understand.", the Doctor croaks.
~
The past year and a half has been... rough for Danny. For the halfa didn't lie, it took him a bit to understand that he had actually died to become who he is today. And, with Jazz's, Clockworks, and the rest of his friends, allies, and enemies' (most of them anyways) help, Danny managed to work through that fact and accept it.
But recently, a week ago, it was his Death Day. No one caused trouble in Amity, Danny got a break from all the studying and paperwork at the Ghost Zone. In fact, almost everyone visited, but to either check on him, give him a gift, have a short chat, or all of the above.
Death Day is important to the Ghosts in the Ghost Zone, especially for those who had to actually die in order to get there. But unlike Birthdays, no matter peoples feelings towards it, Death Day is like a strange, yet comforting, mix between a funeral and a birthday. Many ghosts like to visits their grave during their Death Day, many others like to visit said ghost's grave to leave a gift or offering for the ghost.
Danny has been told that ghosts usually feel more at peace by their grave on Death Day. Doesn't mean everyone goes, but it's just something that feels safe and/or calming. Like going to your bedroom and lying on your bed after a stressful day.
Nothing went wrong for Danny on his Death Day, in fact, he quite enjoyed it surprisingly. It was somber on some points, eye opening for others, and even fun for the rest. Almost every ghost that Danny has ever met visited him or left him some sort of gift. Most visited, many worried over Danny because of the fact that he had no grave to visit.
So, with the help of Jazz, Tucker, and Sam, they made Danny a grave, hidden deep in the woods, and almost immediately gifts, offerings, blobs, and other ghosts appeared.
Jazz, Tucker, and Sam left after they had their moment of silence and some quiet to themselves over Danny's 'grave'. They didn't quite understand the importance and impact of Death Day aside from the fact that Danny died on that day.
Aside from Jazz, Danny doesn't think Sam or Tucker fully realized that Danny actually died that day he became a halfa. They've both kept to themselves ever since, both sharing similar haunted look in their eyes and bruised patches of skin that served as eye bags.
Jazz left because she believed that Danny deserved to spent his Death Day with the rest of the ghosts. Her exact words being, 'As long as I get your Birthdays, they get your Death Days.' Danny can not describe how right that feels.
But, yeah, aside from the small bit of hurt that he felt when Sam and Tucker started avoiding him now, Danny's first Death Day was great.
It wasn't until Danny was safely under his covers in bed that the realization hit him.
Just like Sam and Tucker, Danny's parents never knew that Danny, their own son, died right under their noses. In their lab, in their invention, which has quickly become their pride and joy and Danny can't help but feel his core twist.
No one, except for Jazz, realized that Danny had died.
No one living anyway.
Danny has always been the same to them in their eyes, but, that can't be any further from the truth. Danny has been through things, has done things, is capable of things that no one living will ever be. Jazz tries to understand, she's the only one living that truly does, but enough.
And none of the ghosts realize that despite having died, Danny is still, somehow, alive.
But this man, this living man, somehow understood? Understood the feeling of misplacement Danny almost constantly feels everyday of his half life?
Excuse him for not believing this stranger, but Danny doubts it.
But... it's a nice thought. That there is someone (that's not a fruitloop in denial like Vlad) who could understand.
"Thanks.", Danny smiled sincerely, genuinely thankful to the Doctor for trying.
Yet, somehow, the Doctor could tell that Danny didn't truly think that he understood.
"Donna, do you mind leaving Danny and I alone for a couple minutes?", the Doctor asks his friend, never once breaking eye contact with Danny as he does so.
Danny can't exactly read the look Donna sends the Doctor before sending Danny a small reassuring smile that reminded him a lot like the one's Jazz would send him.
"Take care sweetheart.", Donna waves before looking at the unconscious forms of the cultist with an unsure look, "I'll just... go find whatever this planet has for police to pick up this rif-raf."
"You do that.", the Doctor nods at Donna with a small smile and a wave of his fingers.
Donna just rolled her eyes, but returned the wave before leaving. The two males were both quiet at first. Danny wasn't sure how he felt being left alone with this man, but he knew he could easily escape if needed.
But Danny was knocked out of his musings when the Doctor finally spoke, breaking the silence.
"It's different, and it's always gonna be, that's the hard part. At first, you don't realize the difference, just filled with the euphoric feeling of being alive. Of surviving what should have been fatal.", the Doctor spoke plainly, but his eyes looked wet and haunted, as if he's done this more than once, "Only to realize later, that no, you didn't survive. You died. You're dead, but not. Who you were is dead and now, you're someone new. Yet you can never truly shake off how it felt to die, what it means and is like to be dead. And those close to you, can't see the difference, they either think you're someone totally different, or who you were before. But you're not, you're somehow right in the middle and sometimes, it gets so much, just goes back and forth and back and forth. You sometimes can't help but get confused and wonder, who are you now?"
Danny could only stare, his core twisting, but... in a good way. It was something different, something new. It threw Danny off guard, it was hard for him to wrap his head around it. Is this really happening? When is the Fenton luck going to kick in and let the other shoe drop?
Without even realizing it, Danny's cape, crown, and ring disappeared in a flash of green flames, leaving Danny as himself. Danny Phantom, not King, savior, or any other titles he got in the Ghost Zone after defeating Pariah Dark, just Danny.
"You understand?", Danny couldn't help but ask timidly.
The Doctor nods with a small bittersweet smile on his face.
"I understand."

Ive been binging dr who all night. The bit abiut the void has been sticking with me, the voidstuff had a weird green tone to it so its time to do what any good phan does and slap Phantom into the mix. Pardon my terrible doctor dialogue.
***
"Rose, no!" The doctor cries out as Rose Tyler slips from the relay handle and begins getting pulled into the void. Pete Tyler blinks into existence before grabbing Rose and returning to his dimension.
The rift begins sucking into itself like a clogged drain then its gone in a flash of light. The Doctor stands there, shocked and heartbroken, his hand on the wall were rhe void once was. "I'm so sorry."
"Ahem," a make voice clears his throat. The Doctor turns and finds a young man in his early twenties with stark white hair and luminous green eyes. He speaks in an american accent, "Sorry, I didnt mean to interrupt anything. I was just poking around this area and felt a pull to come here. Are you alright sir?"
"Fine, never been finer. I've only just lost someone important to me, I told her id get her and her mother back home safely."
"I can understand that, protecting those you care about... If she's only just passed, you might get lucky and find her again one day."
"I'm sorry but who are you?" The Doctor places the old 3-d glasses on as he get a better look at the stranger. "The better question is what are you? You're basically made of voidstuff."
The man laughs a little bit, "I've never heard it called that before but i suppose so. My names Danny, I was passing through; just checking on all these ghost sightings."
"They're not ghosts," the doctor corrects as he circles Danny.
"Of course not, no psychic imprints or core readings. Plenty of ecto readings, through the roof with those but not actually ghosts. I should know. But as I was saying, I'm sorry your friend passed away."
"She didn't pass away! Shes stuck in a parallel earth where I can't ever see her again."
"Oh... yeah those are kind of tricky," Danny scratches his chin, "But still, you helped me without having to deal with the ecto contamination; never occured to me to reverse the portal and suck anything contaminated into the Zone. As thanks, I can at least help you say goodbye?"
The Doctors eyes flicker across Danny's face as hes dropping all of his recent knowledge, "and how would you do that?"
"I'm assuming you're alien of course which is amazing~. I've always wanted to meet an alien but anyways, if you can find a spot in space on this side then I'll find a weak point in the Zone so you can atleast send a message to them."
"Thank you, i might take you up on that. I'm the Doctor."
"Doctor? Doctor what?"

Being a half ghost means Danny can do a great many things. The one thing he can't do, is accept when there's nothing he can change. Clockwork allows him to go back and time to save just one person from an invasion poised to blot out earth.
(Saving just one person is all he needs.)

Rogue Problem
Skulker laughed victorious as he hover over Superman. Johny, Kitty, and Ember equally had a smug look.
The Justice League watched in disbelief as this unknown entity had somehow defeated one of their strongest member, somewhat in disarray on figuring out how to defeat them.
Cue the static voice of a young male, standing on a building not far from the wreckage. "Why don't you try picking a fight with someone your own species?" The teenager(?) Snarled, his eyes glowing a toxic shade of kryptonite green.
'Who the hell is that?' one may ask, a question not uncommon when in regards of the teenager.
"Kid, it's not safe here!" A League member yelled (green lantern?), Earning an eyebrow raise and folded arms from the younger.
"you humans are absolute idiots" he snarked back, rolling his eyes; he's going to have a headache explaining to his dad Batman.
"BABYPOP!"
"PELT!"
"PHANTOM!"
Yep. A headache.

"And then– I kicked ass and got crowned for it!" Danny sobs, the air around them filled with fear gas, Tim trying everything he can think of to console his little brother.
It's interesting to witness the way danny reacts to the gas with his biology–
Not now, Tim. Crying brother first.
"How about riding back to my apartment, hm? I'll get some takeout, and we watch movies." The mask makes it difficult, nothing he couldn't handle however.
The sobs don't decrease and Tim feels like sobbing himself now.
In a swoop, he's cradling danny, walking to his bike and driving off.
So much for getting to know your long estranged little brother.

(DCxDP) Drowning in formaldehyde (Pt. 1)
Tw: one instance of canon-typical violence (DC), vivisection mention
Will be crossposted to AO3 eventually
(Prologue) - (Pt. 2)
(Subscription post/masterlist)
Danny has been working for Mr. Cobblepot for over a month now.
The first few weeks he was in the Penguin’s company, he couldn’t do much of anything. Instead, Mr. Cobblepot made sure that he was well-rested and beginning to recover.
Danny cried a lot in the first week that he was there.
He cried when he ate for the first time in years; the GiW had kept him on IVs and a feeding tube, so they wouldn’t have to move him from his surgical table.
He cried when he was given his own room to stay in, when he was brought clothes to wear, when he was given a bodyguard to protect him.
He cried when Mr. Cobblepot’s doctors told him that the damage to his vocal chords was likely permanent, and that he would never sound the same again. That he would find it hard to speak at any volume above a whisper.
Apparently, he had a lot more damage to him than he had thought.
The doctors said that the scarring in his brain stem suggested his entire brain had been removed and had regrown. Danny couldn’t really disprove that, and it did line up with a pretty substantial gap in his memory, but if that was the case then why couldn’t his voice recover too?
The scarring and incredibly new tissue that showed up in scans of several other parts of his body suggested that the GiW had done the same thing with most of his organs, as well as a few limbs, and all of the fingers on his right hand.
Danny could remember that. He just didn’t want to.
Perhaps it was the feeling of pity that kept Mr. Cobblepot so understanding of Danny’s slow recovery. That didn’t really matter much, though; Danny’s energy was focused on keeping his place here, ensuring that Mr. Cobblepot didn’t decide he was no longer worth the effort.
As it turned out, there was an easy enough solution to that.
Danny was the only one who knew how to properly operate and modify the weapons and inventions stolen from the GiW.
And so, Danny had a niche he could occupy. He could be useful, useful enough that Mr. Cobblepot couldn’t get rid of him, even if he wanted to.
And, as it turns out, Danny remembered quite a lot of the theories he heard while he was on the cutting board.
As soon as he had enough muscle control of his arms to do so, he was working away at the machinery created by the GiW and his parents.
No, not his parents.
Doctors Madeleine and Jack Fenton.
Regardless of their creators, he was able to understand them quite intimately.
Maybe it was because the ectoplasm flowing through the weaponry was his own, maybe it was because he had nothing to listen to for three years other than the excited chatter of his vivisectionists as they cut him open. Maybe it was because they were both simple weaponry without a purpose.
Danny found working on the machines soothing in a way that nothing else was.
The smell of oil and grease, the sounds of mechanical clanking and metal joints squealing, the feeling of cold steel beneath his fingertips.
The first thing he did to the machines was replacing the paint, from shiny white to a matte black. That way, they were recognizable as his own modified creations.
It was only a bonus that he didn’t catch his reflection in the metal surfaces this way.
Still, his reflection was starting to become more familiar to him. It was still strangely off-putting to see, but his face was beginning to plump out from consistent eating, and his skin was beginning to lose its unhealthy pale tone, going back to a more natural pinkish color.
His eyes still looked devoid of life, but that could be ignored as long as he didn’t look at himself for too long.
Danny sighed, leaning back in his chair as he wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. He was working on modifying the ectoblasters so that they could properly hit humans, as per Mr. Cobblepot’s orders.
He probably should feel some sort of moral conflict over it, but really, Danny couldn’t find it in him to care. Maybe it was some sort of deep internal flaw, or maybe it was because he knew that they wouldn’t be shot at anyone without blood on their hands. Either way, he didn’t have any qualms with what he was doing.
As Danny reconnected the circuitry within the gun, the indicator lights on the side of the muzzle blinked to life, a familiar neon green.
Danny would have to change that color too, he thought. Maybe red would be nice instead, or an icy blue?
He was pulled from his thoughts by the door to his temporary workshop opening. Danny looked up, and smiled when he saw that his bodyguard was the one standing in the doorway.
The man, known only as Derringer, was 6’2”, built like a tank, and known for his love of unusual firearms. He was also a big fan of card games, and had been teaching Danny how to play Blackjack during their meals.
He gently closed the door behind him, strolling into the workshop.
Danny hopped out of his seat, hugging the man tightly. Derringer laughed, patting Danny on the back as he clung to him like a koala.
“Good to see you too, kid,” the man said, his deep voice rumbling in his chest, “you just about done in here?”
Danny nodded, letting go of the bodyguard. He picked up the gun on the desk, handing it to Derringer, and pointed to the target resting in the far corner of the room.
Derringer glanced down at Danny, shrugging before aiming the gun.
He pulled the trigger, and a large scorch mark appeared in the center of the target.
Derringer whistled appreciatively, walking over to inspect the damage.
There was a deep dent in the center of the metal target, around an inch in diameter, and a large scorch mark surrounding it. The metal of the dent was white-hot, and the area around it was somewhat warped.
“That’s real nice, kid,” Derringer said, “don’t know how you do it.”
Danny grinned, baring his teeth at the man. He smiled back, ruffling his hair.
“The boss is gonna go forward with the Arkham raid soon, so long as your guns are ready,” he said, “he’s eager to try them out for real. You think you’re up to talking to him?”
“Yes,” Danny signed, nodding to the man.
“Good,” Derringer signed back.
Mr. Cobblepot, not wanting Danny to be limited in his speech by the damage to his vocal chords, had ensured that all of the people who interacted with him knew at least the basics of ASL.
When he wasn’t working on the ectoblasters, Danny was practicing his ASL with a dedicated tutor, or with Derringer, who learned the language when his mother had gone deaf.
“Can I eat first?” Danny signed, “I forgot to.”
“You forgot, or you didn’t want to leave your work?” Derringer asked, signing as he spoke, the corners of his eyes crinkled with amusement, “and yeah, the boss wants to talk to you in thirty minutes. You’ve got plenty of time before then.”
“Thank you,” Danny signed, “let’s go.”
“Hey, just a sec,” Derringer said. His face had dropped into something unusually serious.
Danny nodded, tilting his head as he signed a quick “what’s wrong?”
“You’re a good kid. Even after what you’ve been through, you’re…you’re a really sweet kid,” Derringer said, looking away. “But you…you can’t keep being sweet to everyone. You gotta act tough, alright?”
“Why?”
“You just…” Derringer sighed, combing a hand through his thick, curly hair, “a lot of the guys think that you’re too weak to be here. They’re calling you the Penguin’s pet project, and the problem is that they’re not really wrong. You gotta be scarier to survive, alright? Gotham’ll eat you alive if you don’t. Just make up a persona and roll with it.”
Danny nodded slowly, processing his words for a moment.
“Like a mask?”
Derringer laughed, a bittersweet smile on his face.
“Yeah, like a mask. Just don’t start fighting crime while you’re at it.”
“Okay,” Danny signed, his movements slow. “I can do that.”
“Good on you, kid,” Derringer said, ruffling his hair once more, “now let’s go get lunch.”
The two of them ate quickly, Danny’s mind on Derringer’s advice the entire time.
He was right, and Danny knew it. He’d seen the way that some of Mr. Cobblepot’s men had looked at him.
He wasn’t anywhere near big enough to pull off the looming intimidating look that Derringer did; his doctors back in Amity had told him that he would grow to be over six foot, but his time in the GiW seemed to have stunted his growth significantly. He was only around 5’6”, and it seemed that he was going to stay that way.
In the same way, he wasn’t nearly frightening looking enough to pull off the terrifying stares of the smaller individuals working under Mr. Cobblepot. He just couldn’t get the glare right; his face would always fall back to a blank, dead stare.
Though, maybe if he played into that…
A few minutes before they had to leave, Danny excused himself to go to the restroom. He stared into the mirror, looking into his cold, dead eyes, and let his face drop.
When he adjusted his stance, and kept his eyes a bit wider than usual, he looked downright unnerving.
Danny had already noticed that most of his mannerisms were…unusual, after his stay at the GiW base. Put simply, he had forgotten what it was like to be a human.
He had noticed that most of the people around him would avoid being in his presence, and had begun mirroring their body language as much as he could to seem more normal.
Maybe, though, it would be better for him not to.
He could lean into the whole thing. An unstable young adult, experimented on by the government for years.
Danny looked into the mirror, and wide, icy eyes stared back at him.
Danny left the restroom. Derringer turned to greet him, jolting when he did. After a moment, he nodded.
“That your new look?”
“Yes. Is it good?”
“Yeah. Freaky. Gonna take some getting used to, but yeah. Now,” he said, getting up from his spot at the break room table, “let’s go see the boss.”
Danny felt anxiety bubbling up in his chest, his entire body beginning to twitch. If Mr. Cobblepot didn’t approve of the weaponry, or if he thought they were underwhelming, would he be thrown out? Would he be tortured again, or killed?
Danny shivered when they came to a stop in front of the door to Mr. Cobblepot’s office. Failure wasn’t an option. He had to make sure this went well.
“You’ll do great, kid,” Derringer whispered, pushing the door open.
Mr. Cobblepot had been talking with a few other people, but their conversation died out when Danny and Derringer entered the room. Danny’s skin crawled.
“Ah, Danny! Just the person I wanted to see,” Mr. Cobblepot said, a large smile on his face, “Do you have one of your guns with you?”
“Yes,” Danny signed, nodding.
“Wonderful. I was just telling my associates here about your work. Do you mind giving a demonstration?”
“Where should I shoot? Do you have a target?”
Derringer was quick to translate. Mr. Cobblepot nodded, gesturing for a hired hand in the corner of the room to pull out a small wooden board, holding it up in the air.
Danny paled. He would definitely burn the man’s hands if he hit the target, even if he aimed for the furthest corner of the board.
Still, he was more terrified of disappointing Mr. Cobblepot than he was empathetic towards the man, so he drew a blaster from the holster on his leg and aimed carefully.
The blast hit the center of the board. The man holding it howled in pain, dropping the target and drawing his hand close to his chest. The nauseating smell of burning flesh filled the room.
Danny breathed shakily, in and out.
Mr. Cobblepot, for what it was worth, looked like he couldn’t possibly be happier. He and the others inspected the board on the ground closely, ignoring the hired hand as he ran out of the room, still cradling his damaged hand.
A large hole had been blown into the board, and a good portion of it had been incinerated.
“Look at that, ladies and gentlemen! I told you that Danny would deliver, and deliver he did! Imagine if that had been a person instead! Danny, what would you say would happen?”
Danny paused, trying to wince when he realized that the question wasn’t hypothetical, and Mr. Cobblepot actually wanted an answer.
“It would give them S-E-V-E-R-E burns,” Danny finger spelled the word that he didn’t know the proper sign for, “mostly S-U-R-F-A-C-E. It can’t P-E-I-R-C-E, because there is no bullet, just energy.”
Derringer translated for him.
Mr. Cobblepot frowned, and Danny frantically continued, “but it can be L-E-T-H-A-L! Burns on the head kill fast. Burns on the body make S-H-O-C-K, and kill. Strong I-M-P-A-C-T, too.”
“So they do still kill, just not instantly?”
“Yes,” Danny signed, “they’re fast. They hurt bad. Bad way to die, hurts a lot.”
“Well,” one of the other men in the room piped up, “I guess he’s not completely hopeless.”
“Of course he isn’t,” Mr. Cobblepot replied, fixing a terrifying glare onto the man, “it was my idea to bring him in, after all.”
“Danny,” Mr. Cobblepot said, turning his attention back to him, “we’re going to be collaborating with these fine individuals in the future. I’m going to need twenty guns ready for use in a week. You can handle that, can’t you?”
Danny nodded frantically.
“What kind?”
“Doesn’t matter,” Mr. Cobblepot said, waving his hand dismissively, “semi-automatic is preferable, but handguns and shotguns also work. Just make sure they work perfectly.”
The room was silent for a moment.
“Well, that’s all. You can leave now, and I’ll finish discussing the details with my associates.”
Danny nodded, signing him a quick “thank you, goodbye,” and slipped out of the room alongside Derringer.
They made their way back to Danny’s workshop in silence. Once they were inside, Derringer heaved a heavy sigh, running his fingers through his hair.
“You really think you can make that many guns that quickly, kid?”
“Yes,” Danny replied, “but I need your help.”
Derringer groaned, a smile on his face.
“Of course you’re putting me to work. I should’ve expected it. Now, what do you need me to do?”
“Well, first, hold this…”

Familar Stranger
DP x DC au with a dash of dimensional travel where Danny, due to his ghostly nature, looks slightly different depending on how others perceive him.
Warning: OP has no knowledge of space other than Google and is also a non-native English speaker; proceed with caution.
Same startup kits; Danny becomes the successor to the Infinity Realm (he's a baby by both ghost and human standards, so there's a temporary council for now). Anyway, he still has some power over the ghosts, so he asks them to lessen the amount of fighting to focus on schoolwork and "princely education."
Now here's where my brainrot begins.
The Lazarus Pits, necromantic rituals, or portals of any kind that have "death" or "soul" in them tend to be connected to the Ghost Zone. However, the zone has its own defensive mechanism, so unless someone *Fentons* actively makes a gateway or has "experienced" death, it's nearly impossible to come upon the zone. A certain furry bridage in Gotham has unknowingly ticked all the checkboxes.
During a misson, one of the bats got caught in a magic situation and got transported to the Infinity Realms. They wandered around, dogding ghosts, slowly getting insane from all these damn corridors and living paintings, before they stumbled upon a seemingly random door (CW is involved; he's having a great time testing the poor bat).
Opening the door leads them to the universe. They closed the door, then opened it again. Yep, that's an entire universe complete with its own planetary systems and, oh, so pretty stars growing and dying in a blink of an eye. Another check around shows them that this is the only door so far in the endlessly long hallway. They look down (if there's even a down, for there's only infinity) and take an experimental step. The Milky Way lit up under their feet, with stars gathering around to form a twisting path to nowhere.
For the next couple of hours, days, or minutes, they made their way through the galaxies. Just when they were about to spiral into a midlife crisis, they heard... humming?
Did they finally lose it? They asked themselves before noticing a glowing figure sitting on an asteroid nearby.
"Hello?"
The figure flinched, and life paused. The blackhole by their left stopped spinning, the stars weren't twinkling, and the figure turned their head. Now it's their blood that runs cold.
"You're not supposed to be here."
Lazarus-colored orbs stared back at them with a familiar face but an unfamiliar voice. Damian tilted his head, looking at them in confusion (there's something wrong, wrong, wrong-). They blinked because, what the hell, seeing something other than a scowl on the boy's face is WeirdTM. Suddenly, that's a teenaged Jason staring at them, much closer than he(?) was before.
At this point, they realized— eyes moving over the entire regalia and the glowing crown that just appeared—they're probably in deep sh*t.

Prompt from @help-i-need-a-cool-username
Danny was tired of his neighbor’s bullshit. Above his head rested the well known crime lord of crime alley, Red Hood. Now, Danny used to be a vigilante, he gets it, truly, but that did not mean he forgave the other for the sheer amount of wake up calls he’s gotten. He knew he was a light sleeper, has been ever since the portal opened and since the portal was shut down by yours truly, but the amount of noise was still unacceptable. Did the guy not know he lived right below him? He knew that the building was in a rough patch, but it wasn’t deserted. He wasn’t the only one here ya’ know. By now the halfa had had enough. He had a class at 9 am tomorrow in literal physics. He needed sleep if he didn’t want to pass out in the lecture that he 100% needed for the midterms in 2 weeks. He would have gone up and complained in person if he wasn’t, you know, on the run. So he sat in his bed, grabbed earbuds, played one of his sad playlists and tried his best to sleep.
.
.
.
That was it, Danny was going to actually kill the Red Hood. Here Danny is, minding his own business, writing a paper for the English class he had to take for extra credits, and in storms 5 men kicking down his door with all sorts of weapons. They were in all black with hoods and bandanas covering the bottom half of their faces.
“Where’s Red Hood? We know he lives here!”
The half had had enough. Here he was, on page 2 of a 5 page paper, while on 9 shots of espresso and 3 energy drinks to make up for the lack of sleep he got last night because of the same very guy this gang is looking for. He was going to strangle this man, hands down, screw the GIW.
“I’m literally a college student trying to live off of a minimum wage salary, if all of us could be crime lords and afford an apartment without a day job, we’d all do it.”
“Where is the Red Hood?!”
The guy in the middle had yelled before pointing a gun right at Danny’s head. He sighed before standing and putting his hands above his head.
“I don’t know. He’s not here, and I don’t even think he lives in the building.”
He didn’t know why he was covering for his neighbor's ass, but he already had one foot in, so why not the rest of him?
“Don’t bullshit me! We know he lives here!”
“Are you sure it was this building, and not the one across the alley?”
Dany inched closer as the main guy looked over at the goon next to him and started arguing. By the time they looked up, Danny was right in front of the gun, merely inches away from the barrel now pointed at his chest.
“Boo.”
His eyes glowed a vibrant neon green before the lights turned off leaving the apartment in pitch black.
.
.
.
Red Hood cursed as he realized how careless he’d been. One of his men had informed him that they received a warning from one of their informants. Apparently, there was a new gang on the rise with the sole purpose of taking him down. Somehow they’d followed him to his apartment one night and were staging an attack right now. Luckily, it didn’t seem like they knew his civilian identity, but he didn’t know that for sure. Plus, if they broke in and he wasn’t there, he didn’t want to know what they’d do to the others inhabiting the complex.
It took him about two minutes to get there using his bike. He scaled the side of the building and got in through his window only to find his apartment exactly as he left it. Had his men lied to him? Or had the gang just not arrived yet?
Well, that’s what he thought before he heard gunshots below his feet. He scrambled down the stairs and ran to the apartment below him, taking out his gun and slowly walking towards the door. It was dead silent. It seemed that the last noise to leave the place was that one stray bullet, since then not a sound.
Hood cursed under his breath before turning the corner and moving the broken door out the way. Inside was a pile of 5 men in all black knocked unconscious with a man sitting on top of them criss crossed holding a bat with a green sticker on it in one hand while the other typed on the open laptop sitting in his lap. The vigilante didn’t even move. He lowered his gun to the floor and just stared at the scene at hand. Eventually the man looked up at him with ashy blue eyes and a tired look about them. He sighed before closing the laptop and resting his chin on the small end of the bat.
“Dude, it’s 3 am. Can you please tell your enemies to stick to acceptable invasion hours?”
Hood didn’t even know what to say. He just stood there at the door, even clocked his head sideways in confusion. The other sighed.
“I have a class at 7 am tomorrow and this paper is due like yesterday, so can you just, I don’t know? Schedule this shit? Or at least make sure they have the right apartment. I didn’t complain about the noise before, but this is ridiculous.”
Yeah, Jason couldn’t believe his eyes or ears right now. Was this man serious? He cleared his throat before finally speaking.
“Right… sorry about that? I guess? I’ll take them off your hands. No promises about the schedule though. I can’t exactly control when people try to kill me.”
He stepped forward only for the other to raise the bat at him threateningly. He still sat on the 5 men, and still was pretty far away from Hood, so why he raised the bat he didn’t know.
“Do you want them in your house or not?”
“I want you to stay right there and pay for the bullet holes in my walls.”
“You just said-”
“Oh, I know, but you agreed so readily I’m testing the waters.”
What the fuck was up with this guy, seriously.
“You know I have a gun right? I could shoot you”
“Well so did they, and look where that ended them. Gunless and knocked out.”
Touche, Jason wanted to say, but didn’t. One of the men on the ground started to move and groan, his neighbor, without breaking eye contact with him, spun the bat in his hand and hit the man dead center on the head, knocking him out once more.
Was Jason attracted to this? Maybe.

Note
in 1 side we have Massive Angst of Talia and Bruce
on other side we have Okay normal life Clone Talia, Himbo Danny and Damian. Wait that is just Spy x family but Clone x Family.
No kidding. I can't say much for the angst between Talia and Bruce because I don't know their dynamic that well beyond that in one run they were supposedly in love with one another (and still are to some extent) but they're on such ideological opposites that it's never gonna work in the long term. And in another run Talia is just seducing Bruce (which iirc came about from post 9/11 hatred towards the middle east, and resulted in Talia's character being butchered by some asshole).
BUt on the other end we have Nasra, Danny, and Damian. Who I don't think ever really take on a traditional nuclear 'familial' dynamic since Danny and Damian agreed to both be brothers first and foremost - they're not seeking out a father-son relationship with each other, even with Danny occasionally being parental from time to time. And Nasra and Damian would still have an almost sibling-like rivalry towards each other as well (honestly I think it'd be very Tim and Damian-like), I think. That with a mix of "rivalry between little sibling and their older sibling's partner" too. Either way its def not mother-son like in the slightest, but still familial. Even if unorthodox
But either way they are still family with the additions of Sam and Tucker and Jazz! I like to imagine that Nasra and Damian both are actually pretty into art. Damian uses spray paints as his medium, however, and Nasra gets into charcoals and watercolors, and they compare different art mediums when they start tentatively getting along.
OH also unrelated but more on clone^2 but - danny in clone^2 like, killed like three guys when he was 17 because they attacked him and damian and nearly killed them both. Imagine being Bruce and finding that out

Danny Phantom x Doctor Who crossover idea
Also genderBent Danny au as well, because it’s my au idea and I can do what I want!!
The Doctor had a little sister. She was significantly younger than him. Still a child by Gallifreyan standards when The Time War started. Despite the massive age gap The Doctor absolutely loved his little sister!!! She was the light of his life. It broke his hearts when he thought she’d died with the rest of his people.
What he didn’t know was that someone (not sure who, maybe one of their parents, or maybe even the Master?) Knew the Time War would be the end of them and decided to save her (or in the case of The Master, to maybe use her in the future as a pawn against the Doctor?). They used a Chameleon arch on her, turning her human. (When she’s turned human she winds up looking like an infant.) and then they send her off to Earth.
The Doctor’s sister, now newly human, winds up getting adopted by the Fenton’s and is given the name Danielle. She grows up on Earth with no memories of her life on Gallifrey, though sometimes (thanks to her fob watch with her memories in it) she dreams of it. And then the portal accident happens and she’s made half ghost.
About a year after the portal accident the Fenton parents find out about her being half ghost. They do not take it well. They attack her, injuring her, and she goes on the run. One day, while sitting in a park, the Tardis appears, and Dani approaches it. She has this vague recognition of it but doesn’t understand why she feels this way about this blue box. And then The Tenth Doctor and Donna step out.
Ten immediately lights up at seeing her and swiftly pulls her into a hug, spinning her around saying how happy he is to see her. And then he stops and asks why she’s not in Cardiff and where the hell is Jack. And then pauses when he realizes she has no idea who he is. He brings her into the Tardis and explains that she’s really a Gallifreyan, and her Gallifreyan memories and biology is hidden in her fob watch. That she’s his younger sister. And that a younger him met her sometime in her future.
He takes her to Cardiff, several months before the first season of Torchwood, and drops her off with a note for Jack and directions to the Torchwood 3 base. She makes her way there, entering through the tourist information centre. Ianto is there behind the desk and she tells him, while looking straight into the camera in the corner of the room, that she has a message for Jack from The Doctor. The phone rings immediately and when Ianto picks it up Jack tells him he’ll be up in just a minute and to not let Dani leave before he gets there.
When Jack gets up there Dani immediately hands him the note from the Doctor. The basics of the note is: we’ll (Jack and the Doctor) meet again sometime soon. But for now he has a favor to ask of Jack. The girl, Dani, who gave him this letter is his (the Doctor’s) younger sister. She’s under a chameleon arch at the moment so she’s human and doesn’t remember being a Gallifreyan. And he requests that Jack look after and protect her to the best of his abilities.
Jack reads the note over three times, looks the kids in front of him over, and immediately decides to adopt this tiny child. The Doctor asked him to look after and protect her so he damn well will!!! Plus the kid is tiny, scrawny, and just looks to be in the worst shape. She’s covered in scars (both from her time being a hero and from when the Fenton’s attacked her after finding out about her halfa status), and she’s got this skittish look in her eyes. And she’s horribly thin, wearing clothes much to big for her. Yeah this is Jack’s new daughter, and may the universe have mercy on the soul of anyone who fucks with her, because he sure as hell won’t.
Dani is enjoying life as Jack’s new adoptive daughter. After a while she even feels comfortable enough to tell him about the Fenton’s and her powers. He takes her powers pretty well, but does not take to well to finding out about the Fenton’s and what they did to her. Season 1 of Torchwood comes around with Dani being part of the team.
And then Doctor Who S3E11 “Utopia” comes around. Dani winds up hitching a ride on the outside of the Tardis with Jack when it gets flung to the end of the universe. This is when the Doctor meets Dani for the first time. Immediately upon Jack reviving at the end of the universe Jack and Dani explain who she really is to the Doctor. When he realizes that Dani is actually his little sister the Doctor pulls her into a bear hug, burying his face into her shoulder to hide his tears. He’s absolutely ecstatic that she made it out of the Time War alive.
The rest of the episode goes the way it does in the show just with Dani there. Not sure exactly how her presence would affect the events of the sound of drums and the last of the timelords. Haven’t thought that far ahead yet. But I imagine her ghost powers would be a bit of a hinderance to the Master’s plans. Unless the Master, during his 8 months on Earth, gets in contact with the Fenton’s and gets some ghost weapons. But again haven’t really thought that far ahead for this idea!

Decided to update the original FFN-style ‘book cover’ art for my fanfic Young Justice: Deathly Weapons.
It’s fun to see how the visual identity of this fic has evolved from when I first came up with and posted the initial idea (right) to now (left) that it has a fully-detailed plan that’s developed a vibe of its own.
[Art pieces inside the background-portals can be seen here and here.  Teaser summary for upcoming “episodes” here.]
Original Summary:
Hunted. Haunted. Hero. Kryptonians aren’t the only species with weaponisation potential.
New FFN Summary:
A business agreement. A small-town hero, on the run and struggling. A danger few people even believe is real. When an unexpected face intervenes on a mission gone wrong, the Boy Wonder begins to realise that there's more to the story. And what started out as a hunt for answers draws the Duo - and the Team - into a more complex web than any of them could have seen coming.
New AO3 Summary:
A business agreement seems like such a small thing.
In the eyes of the world, Phantom and the Fentons are long gone.  But accidents aren’t always accidents and, when an unexpected face intervenes on a mission gone wrong, the Boy Wonder begins to realise that there’s more to the story.
The stubborn fugitive they find isn’t the easiest lead to work with.  But those powers have potential, and partnership could be an asset - so long as Robin can play his cards right.  And, while he may not want to admit it, their offer might be exactly what a struggling half-ghost needs.
Which turns out to be a lot less one-sided than any of them knew.  As the paranormal starts coming out of the woodwork and clues begin piling up, a new recruit might just be what the Team needs too.

Sorry for writing a lot of Mad Scientist!Danny stuff lately hon. I just think the concept of Batman literally having a mad scientist of a ward with no questions asked whatsoever was funny lmao
