Lines From Stephen x Clea Fanfics I May Never Write (Out of Context) Post 164:

(Stephen finds Clea sleeping in a coffin like the one in Snow White. He approaches the coffin carefully and holds his hand over the glass to look for any energy signature.)

(It's at this time Stephen sees Clea's face, which is sad and in discomfort. His heart breaks seeing her this way.)

Stephen: What's happened to you Clea...?

Dream Queen: Ooooh!!! You're cute!

(Stephen looks up and sees a demonic looking women clad in a skin tight red suit and high heel boots standing several feet away from the coffin.)

I was sad, but a drag queen lent me her violin for a while, and I started playing it. I got quite good at it despite the fact that I didn’t really know exactly what I was doing, until I played it a little too hard and it broke. I cried, until she later came up to me and comforted me, saying something like, “All that matters is that you played,” and then I woke up.

One last Nightmare-related headcanon I have revolves around his daughter, Dream Queen.

Basically, she has the same backstory as she does in the comics; reborn from her mother, a succubus, after Nightmare forced himself on her and trapped her in Liveworld.

Key difference is that Nightmare trained her to be his successor, and let her go into the real world, long before The Ancient One sealed him away, to go hunting. Only problem is, Dream Queen got a little too addicted to the thrill she got from consuming human's fear and wanted power now, so Nightmare trapped his daughter in Liveworld, permanently.

So when she makes a reappearance in modern day, she implants her dream seeds into Clea's mind, planning to use her as a conduit into the real world. Stephen is too late to save Clea from Dreamqueen's influence, so he's forced to go to Nightmare for help.

One last idea I have though? Dream Queen really likes Michael Jackson. Not to an obnoxious level, but whenever she's by herself, listening to music and/or dancing, she usually has something from him or the Jackson Five on in the background.
