Finally finishing off the last designs to create Speeder Parker's perfectly weird sinister six- sorry "Miniature Six."

I decided I wanted The Beetle's powers to stand out more so I specified her species to be a bombardier beetle and gave her a gun that shoots boiling hot caustic liquid. The Human fly's design is completely different cause eh I don't vibe with any of his canon looks. And the Rhino is now a big Russian beetle man. Yeah! :)

YES THERE ARE MY FRIEND AURORA AUSTRALIS THE DAWN OF THE SOTUH. CAUSE THEY'RE IN THE SOUTH

they're the exact same thing as the northern lights: a phenomenon in the atmosphere due to the interaction of the solar winds against the earth's magnetic field and gases up there

HOWEVER

they differ in one major way however: pink as a color shows up more commonly than in the north!

the classic green aurora is of course still around it is one of the more common colors but pink shows up just a bit more frequently than in the north!

subject 841, herein referred to by her given name kanda, was born off-world in the year 8697. as one of the few children to survive experiment EAu she was immediately transported back to earth. the surrogate mother did not survive the birth and thus we were unable to test nature/nurture within the paradigms we had previously considered. kanda was placed in an orphanage in pattaya city and a policy of zero-contact was established.

at the age of one, year 8698, kanda was adopted and relocated to seoul. we refrained from contact with the family. her abilities, in other subjects, tended to induce blindness at a young age. however, we believe a gene mutation relating to gamma rays absorbed in the lower jupiter orbit allowed her to move past this. several of the other problems experienced by 840, such as—–

day 3650: her world is tinted baby pink and sky blue. days are filtered through rose-colored glasses. she cannot hear, not really, there’s always too much noise to truly hear anything. seoul is busy, overflowing with activity and packed with souls. kanda easily gets lost in the awe of it. she wants to be part of it, to live in it and not simply observe. and those desires push her - a little too far. they push her out of the affluent enclave and into the streets. where the world comes in all sorts of colors.

day 5475: cliche. black on black, leather and ripped denim. rebelling with her mother’s credit cards. but the irony was hardly going to stop her. kanda is finding her place in the city - making friends and memories apart from the posh crowd of her family. she was also going blind.

day 6205: her parents wouldn’t speak of it. kanda’s powers had brought only pain. she’d abused them without understanding them and had been unable to see properly for years. did they know that? could the academy really help? to kanda the scout was offering a second chance. to her parents, they were exposing the family to scrutiny. not only was she a mutant of sorts, the girl was also a failure.

day 6935: it took years for the stars to align. survival, a promise of more, and a very awkward car ride led kanda to the academy. she found her place - slowly and then all at once. the school shielded her from the monsters waiting back home. the problems she’d created and those which she simply found weren’t too far away. but life moved on and she along with it. growing, perfecting, shifting into the person she wanted to be.

Everyone out here with their Spidersona's but since I can't really see myself as a Spiderperson you get the next best thing. Spider Miinu! A little half spider gremlin guy.

I'll go into more detail below.

First off, Miinu are my bug folk that I draw a lot, you can read about their biology here. They are a little more magic based in their original lore.

First things first, this little guy is the radioactive spider that bit Peter Parker. After tasting human flesh, he mutated into a roughly 4 inch humanoid spider person. He eventually tracked Peter down and watched him and adopted some of his mannerisms, eventually adopting a Spiderman persona of his own. Peter eventually discovered him and nicknamed him 'Speeder Parker.'

As a Spider person his venom no longer has mutagenic properties but is still powerful enough to knock a grown man unconscious. He can also morph 2 extra sets of arms equaling a total 8 limbs. He has the intelligence of a human, but is unable to speak with other humans. He can communicate with other arthropods though. His super human healing abilities also keeps him from dying via being crushed.

He is incredibly curious and adaptable, if a bit feral with poor manners. He's adopted Peter's sense of humor, but since he can't talk to make witty wisecracks, he relies on body language and physical humor. He's very friendly and clingy towards other Spidermen regardless if they are his universe's Spiderman, and tends to be dodgy around other humans.

So I was thinking over what Spider-miinu's Canon event would be. He and Peter are bound by DNA, but as the spider becomes more human, Peter's mutation spirals out of control and turns him into a monster. Bonus:

Real quick doodle comparing what this Peter looks like compared to Speeder. (And what Speeder looks like desperate to fill the void without Peter.)

Next on the list of Spiderman villains for my AU is Curt Connors. I love a man who also turns into a lizard. I also like a smart man that Peter can trust with all the random weird shit he finds in the wild of superheroing.

He used to be friends with Otto Octavius and he lost his arm in a little accident during their trip to Florida together, involving an alligator.
