Memories.

"Oh my God, you're so cute." You awed, recording a video of your boyfriend bottle feeding a fawn. Tommy looked up at you with a huge grin on his face. You didn't tell him where you were taking him this morning, but he seems pretty happy with your idea of a date being a petting zoo. After admiring the deer, the two of you walked around for a bit, coming across a pen of very friendly horses. Phone in your hand once again for an ungodly amount of pictures and videos. A Chestnut colored mare with a dark red colored main and tail stretched her neck towards you to ask for nose pats. "Hi beautiful." You greeted her, rubbing her nose as she shoved her head into your hand even more. "Hey, bebe, are you taking a video?" Tommy asked, making you turn to him. "Yeah, what are you up to?" You giggled, knowing Tommy well enough to know he was planning something.

"Watch this." Tommy said, gesturing to you with a carrot stick in his hand. The buckskin colt didn't seem to be pleased that he was no longer receiving ear scratches, tossing his head around, but was soon happy again when he took notice of the treats Tommy had for him, Tommy placed a carrot stick between his lips and held it out to the colt that way. Your phone camera vibrated as you laughed at the sight in front of you. The horse's lips brushed against Tommy's noise before sniffing and ultimately snatching the snack, happily crunching away on the carrot as Tommy started to laugh with you. "Oh, what a wonderful rendition of Lady and the Tramp!" You exclaimed between laughs. "Now you get to tell all your friends your boyfriend frenched a horse with video evidence." Tommy joked, making you double over laughing, giving the camera a good view of the dirt path.

You grinned and snorted at the videos and pictures of the day from your comfy spot on the couch, wrapped up safely in Tommy's arms as he snored softly against the back of your neck. Finally, you got to the picture of you and Tommy sharing a kiss at the end of your visit to the petting zoo. Tommy has never divulged much of his past to you, but you know enough to know it was traumatic, so seeing him happy and laughing never failed to fill your heart to the point of overflowing. Tommy's hands lazily explored your stomach in his sleep, making you glance over your shoulder to check on him. You had learned quickly that Tommy moving in his sleep meant he was dreaming, albeit usually a nightmare, but this time, you felt his lips curl into a smile against the soft exposed skin of your neck. "I love you." He murmured, a sleepy slur in his gruff voice. Your face broke out into a smile so hard it almost hurt. At least this time, it was a good dream.

You.

Midnight bathroom trips were a pain in the ass, quite literally. Not only did your body force itself out of sleep, but it also woke you up enough that you couldn't go back to the wonderful abyss that is sleep. You groaned as your berefeet padded down the hallway of the small apartment you shared with your boyfriend. Upon entering the bedroom, you saw a dark shape looming over Eddie's sleeping from. Swallowing stiffly, you reminded yourself that Vemon wouldn't harm you anymore than they would Eddie. The symbiote has been desperately trying to gain your trust, though that proved somewhat difficult after your first time "meeting" Vemon involved them consuming a creep whole that was trying to get handsy with you. Eddie apologized profusely and had a slight breakdown at the thought of having scared you. Insisting that Vemon liked you as much as he did and just wanted to protect you.

Vemon has proved how useful an extra set of arms can be and is more than willing to watch the cheesy romcoms and movies like "P.S. I Love You" with you that Eddie can't stand. However, your nerves still often got the better of you, and you would freeze up. Gathering what courage you could, you made your way to the bed and attempted to get comfortable under the covers. Vemon watched you silently for a moment, "your hreat rate is up." They said quietly. "No shit." You mumbled, grabbing your phone off the nightstand, knowing you'd be awake for a while, so you decided to entertain yourself. "We are sorry for scarring you." Vemon said, hanging they're head shamefully. "It was never our intent." They added. "It's fine." You replied, not looking up from your mobile. You and Vemon have gone through this more times than you could count. They apologize, and you tell them it's fine.

Vemon glanced down at Eddie and hummed lowly. Your curiosity got the better of you, so you looked between Eddie and the symbiote, "do you know what he's thinking even if he's asleep?" You questioned tentatively. "Yes, and his dreams." The symbiote replied. "He's currently very happy in the dream and is dancing with someone very special." Vemon explained. You thought about the recent impromptu dance party you and Eddie had in the living room. He spun you around to the song playing while the credits rolled on the movie you just watched, Vemon even pitched in to help Eddie lean you into a dip and pull you back up. When the song faded out, Eddie sat you up on the arm of the couch and connected your lips with his own. The memory was almost as lovely as being in the moment. It also prompted you to ask the symbiote another question, "Hey, V?" You started, Vemon perked up at their nickname. Usually, Eddie was the only one to call them that. "Yes?" Vemon's voice rumbled. "Who's Eddie dancing with in his dream?" You asked. Vemon thoughtfully looked back down at Eddie, who is still fast asleep, and is likely to remain that way for some time.

"You."

The rum made me do it.

The room was dark, and Alfie's vision was blurry, probably something to do with all that rum. As he had said once, rum is for fun and fucking init? it has led to both in this case. He was laid out on his back, and in his haze, he realized he couldn't move his arms out from under the weight of his torso. Was he tied up? Maybe. Honestly, between his drunkenness and the familiar shape of his spouse climbing on top of him, he couldn't find it in himself to care. Straddling his lap, you lightly ran your nails up and down his sides under his shirt, "Mmmm." Alfie rumbled at the shivers your actions sent through him. "Are you gonna be a good boy for me?" You asked, the rum also coating your voice. "Yes, dove." Alfie purred, part of him desperate to please you, another part was desperate to be pleased by you. The two of you seemed to cancel each other out. You were both the dominant sort, but Alfie didn't have to be drunk for you to convince him of this.

Undoing the buttons of his shirt with a lazy pace, partly due to taste testing your own products too much and partly due to not being in any particular kind of rush. Your hands explored his chest, earning a grunt from him as you massaged his pecks. "Are you enjoying that, Mr. Solomons?" You asked softly. "I enjoy anything from you, love." Alfie murmured with a rum influenced smirk on his face. Alfie's vision grew even more blurry than before, and finally his eyes fell shut either by way of the rum finally getting to him or by way of you continuing to massage his muscles, he wasn't sure.

You had been puttering around the house for most of the afternoon, and now you were looking for your husband as the house had been unusually quite for far too long for you not to wonder where your old man had buggered off to. Finally, making your way into the parlor, you heard a satisfied grunt from the couch, stopping you in your tracks. Taking steps towards the back of the red colored piece of furniture, peering over the back of it. There was your husband, Alfie, back slightly arched and head pressing a small indentation into the cushion underneath it. You narrowed your eyes as they hovered over the bulge Alfie had acquired. Safe to assume he was enjoying whatever dream he was having, you thought.

Pleasant.

A soft breeze helped waft the morning brid songs through the window of a small cottage in the English countryside, the bacon sizzled as you dropped it into your cast-iron pan. A soft sigh fell from your lips lazily as the sweet aroma of food cooking in the morning filled the kitchen. You pulled out the folding toaster and placed it over another burner with four pieces of bread, enough for two bacon and egg sandwiches. "Morning love," Farrier said as he walked in, voice gruff from waking up and rubbing sleep from his eyes. "Smells heavenly in here." He smiled. "Then, let's hope it tastes that way too." You replied, returning the smile and pecking his lips. "Would you make the tea dear?" You asked. "Of course." Farrier answered, beginning to fill the kettle with water. He stood idle for a moment as he waited for the water to boil, watching as you drifted around the room, just as gently as the breeze was, turning the pieces of toast so that both sides would be even and then doing the same with the bacon to ensure it would cook evenly.

You happen to glance his way and notice the far away look in his eyes. It usually meant he was lost in his thoughts before this look was usually accompanied by a frown as he would think of when he would be sent away again, off into war. However, now that he's not in active service anymore and attempting to settle back into civilian life, this look was usually accompanied by a smile. The kettle began whistling and thus brought him out of his thoughts. "I had a dream last night." Farrier stated. "Oh? What about?" You questioned. "This," Farrier explained with a vague gesture to the room as a whole. "Just existing, gardening, baking, all and all just a picturesque day spent together." He added, placing a tea bag in each mug. "It was pleasant." He finished. "Sounds it, pleasant, that is." You agreed.

"It made me happy," Farrier started up again as you put the sandwiches together, "to think that kind of calm actually exists after... after.. the incident at the beach." He said, mumbling the last few words. You encircled his neck with your arms, his snaked around your waist. Your lips continued in a drawn-out kiss. It wasn't the kind of kiss that was steamy and left you wanting more. It was the kind of kiss you'd give Farrier before he left, but this time, he wasn't going anywhere. You tucked your head under his chin, "Thank you." He said. "Thank you for what?" You asked, looking up at him.

"For reminding me there's still some kind of pleasant to be found in this world."

Sleep deprived.

Sweeping, clearing tables, wiping down the bar, and now doing the dishes. You were out visiting your folks on your day off, and his brothers were God knows where. So, Forrest had to close the station by himself tonight. His eyes were heavy with exhaustion. He picked up the last glass that needed putting away, and he eyed the sink tap. Largely because you'd given him an ear full when he had that bout with heat exhaustion from working out in the summer sun for too long, he filled the glass with water and took a drink, savoring the feeling of the cool liquid gliding down his throat, nothing quite like it. He ambled to a table with his cup, settling his tired body into a chair with a sigh. He was dreading the thought of hauling himself to bed tonight. His eyes were begging him to close them, and he did for a moment or two with his head resting on his forearms. His dreams took him back to when you, himself, and Howard were teenagers, and life was just a little bit sweeter.

Thanks to Howard, it was well known to your and the brothers parents that you and Forrest had been going around together for a while. Thankfully, neither family involved seemed too bothered by the fact. Your father's only reaction was, "If he hurts you, I taught you how to use a gun for a reason." Forrest had seemed to take offense to this. The very notion that he'd ever hurt you was wildly out of the question. You were an only child, though having known the Bondurant boys since you were born and being age wise smack dab in between Forrest and Howard, it didn't feel like it. Tonight, you and your parents were joining the Bondurants for dinner. The adults were chattering about everything from crops to the weather, nothing that was of particular interest to you. What was interesting to you was that Forrest, who was sitting next to you, hadn't taken his eyes off of you since everyone had gathered around the table. You smiled at him, laying a hand on his leg. "I'm gonna make a Bondurant out of you one of these days." Forrest stated, as if it were inevitable, a matter of fact. This brought a halt to the grown-up conversations, "Forrest.." his mother said with a warning tone. "What?" Forrest asked, "I'm a man of my word, I don't give my word to just anybody." He explained, looking back at you, holding your hand above the table for everyone to see. "I'm dead serious." He murmured.

A harsh shove woke Forrest up in an instant, "Jesus fucking.. Howard!" He snapped with a raspy voice, running his hands through his hair as Howard stood over his slumped over form with a smug grin on his face. "Howard, what did I tell you about tryin' to give your brothers heart attacks?" A voice called, Forrest lifted his groggy head and watched as you sat a couple of brown paper bags on the bar. "Sorry.." Howard mumbled, dropping his head and taking a few steps backward away from Forrest. You stop just short of the table momentarily, eyeing Forrest up and down. You shook your head as his eyes tried to shut on their own again. After closing the distance between Forrest and yourself, you ran a hand through his hair and glanced around at his brothers. "You and Jack better be here to close tomorrow night, or I'll get out the wooden spoon." You stated, ordered really, eyeing Howard, who merely nodded and gave no other reply. Jack didn't dare say a word.

"You and I'll get to bed earlier that way." You smiled, ushering Forrest to your room for some much needed rest.

throwing your phone over onto the other side of your bed, you let out a small sigh. you weren’t sure why you were constantly waiting for one of his texts. you knew that what you had one was one-sided.

you just wished you meant more to him, that whatever was going on between the two of you was more than physical. but you knew his heart belonged to anne, the one that got away.

eddie brock wasn’t one to get tied down, you knew that before entering the agreement he had proposed to you. he was living a free lifestyle, one that allowed him to sleep with whoever, and do everything he seemingly couldn’t do when he was with anne. but you knew him better, knowing that this was all just a front. a mask to hide the man that was missing the one person who he felt like was his home. you knew when he came to bed with you, that he was thinking of her. some days you would cry while you were together, eddie kissing your tears away not knowing they were of heartache rather than pleasure.

you had assumed the role of being his partner without the label or exclusivity, and it was starting to gnaw at your heart. with another sigh, you got up from your bed and walked over to your window looking out at the san francisco skyline. tears spring from your eyes flowing freely as you started to come to terms with what you had been thinking of. you thought maybe it was time to throw in the towel, to let eddie go once and for all. you couldn’t fix him, you couldn’t replace anne. you knew he didn’t love you the way you loved him, just being another body to warm him during the lonely nights. wiping the tears away with your hoodie sleeve, you closed your eyes and let the cold air envelop you. you knew that starting tomorrow, you would have to start to move on, and leave eddie once and for all. you may love him, but you knew he wasn’t yours to love. and maybe, just maybe coming to terms with that would lift some of the weight on your heart.

To My Lovely Readers

Hello dear friends,

I wanted to give you all a shout out! And also, a little explanation of why I don't take requests.

I think most writers can agree, if the topic doesn't vibe with them, it is very hard to write good material. I want to offer the reader a fun and exciting story (even if it is just smut!) and I will only post something I'm proud of. Additionally, requests can pile up and if left incomplete can disappoint the requester. My blog is here to bring joy and an escape from the daily grind that is life. I do not wish to bring any disappointment, so I don't hold myself to promises I cannot fulfill.

What I'm trying to say here is that even though I don't do requests, I still value and cherish your feedback. Examples are individuals recently telling me they want more Reggie and Jack. This is great, because I will turn my focus on those characters and write more material. And of course, if you're vibing a certain idea, don't hesitate to ask! I'll be honest and tell you if I can't do it.

You've always adored your parents. Your Dad loved teaching you his skills within engineering and programming, and thought it was your little gadgets were adorable. Your Mum on the other hand, showed you all sorts of sci-fi and fantasy movies- but your favourites were the Marvel movies. Something about the way they told stories and built characters fascinated you, the same way technology did.

Your favourite character was Venom. It was this big tough guy but was protective of those it loved, and looked totally badass. So, in your early teens, you decided to combine your two loves into one. You took inspiration from Tony Stark's holograms, and got to work.

You spent the next years getting up at the crack of dawn and staying awake till it arrived again, putting all your spare time into your project. Your Dad helped with the technical parts, and your Mum helped where she could- mainly with apple slices and words of encouragement. You pushed yourself past your limits, designing and building something that could change the world forever.

Then the day came.

You pushed your hair out of your face, looking down at this meter high circular object that took up most of your basement. You wrung your hands together, nervous and yet so excited. You had spent so long working on this, and if it didn't work...you don't know what you would do. You took a deep breath, and pressed a button on the machine.

There was a tense pause, and then all of a sudden your machine flickered to life. A holograph of a man appeared before you, doing a spin before his eyes landed on you. You started laughing while he raised an eyebrow at you. "Uh, hello? Where the fuck am I? And who the hell are you?" You grinned at him, "I'm Y/N. You're a holographic version of a fictional character. You're technically in my machine, but we're in my basement."

Eddie Brock stared at you in slight disbelief, then shrugged, seemingly accepting this was his life. A tentacle appeared on his shoulder, forming into a head. You waved at it, and it grinned at you. You started to laugh in disbelief again, "Ok, I'm gonna go get my parents, so don't go anywhere. Well, you can't, but that's beside the point." You ran to the stairs, turning behind you once again, then sprinted up the stairs yelling for your Dad to come downstairs.

How to address non-binary characters in fandom stats about gender

@once-a-polecat asked a thoughtful and interesting question in response to my post about Canon gender representation & shipping:

So, I know this is a VERY small number of characters (statistically speaking), but how do you deal with, or plan to deal with, the increasing numbers of characters who are non-binary in canon? (Jim Jimenez in OFMD, or Desire in Sandman for instance.) If you’re documenting how prevalent it is that fans introduce gender diversity to binary characters at some point you have to address the question of canon characters who do not have a binary gender. And I understand how much of a tricky question this is because it’s less easily traced across fandoms and some characters may not have a binary gender in ways that do not track with Western human society (they may have culturally significant genders or be non-human beings etc…), but small numbers and diverse types of genders gets difficult for data visualization purposes.

I wanted to give a long-ish answer (or really, to discuss a number of possible answers, all of which sometimes apply but aren't complete on their own), and I also wanted to open it up to others for ideas, so rather than reply in the notes, I'm replying here.

One answer is to say that I'm limited by the data I have available about canon (e.g., in that past 2018 work I was pointing to about Gender representation in canon vs. fanworks, I was working with someone else's movie data set, which didn't contain any data about canon nonbinary characters). That raises a question for future analyses -- does anyone know of a reliable list of canon nonbinary characters that is kept up-to-date? How good is Wikipedia's List of fictional non-binary characters, e.g.? Also interested in lists of canon trans characters.

(A quick aside, because I'm about to talk about limitations: I'm incredibly grateful for the AO3 tagging system, and everyone who makes it work! In part because it allows me to do far more complex stats about all this stuff than any other fandom platform -- or other media platforms, period. And because it gives us all some pretty outstanding sorting and filtering superpowers. Hallelujah! Okay, now onto some limitations. :) )

Another possible answer is to say that my stats are about how people tag things on AO3. So for the most part, I just follow however people are tagging things on AO3 -- and if AO3 users start tagging more ships as "Other" as they often do when a canon nonbinary character like Jim Jimenez or Desire is involved, some of my tag-based stats will pick up that kind of thing (even though I'm currently investigating F/F and M/M specifically, about which more below, I do often include more shipping categories than that). However, this is also only somewhat satisfying, since tagging practices differ between fandoms and change over time (e.g., I *think* more people used to tag some ships involving nonbinary characters, like LaFontaine/Perry from Carmilla, with gendered tags like "F/F" rather than with "Other" -- though maybe that particular example was just because L/P was often a background ship). And I know the use of "Other" can also be touchy; it can be frustrating to lump together human-only ships like Oluwande Boodhari/Jim Jimenez with ones like Eddie Brock/Venom Symbiote, for one thing. (And AO3 could even change some of these tagging options in the future, which might make such data even less useful.)

Another answer is to say, "Nonbinary characters are usually just noise, statistically, because there are so few of them -- I can ignore them most of the time." (Which you nodded to in your question, though you didn't suggest being so dismissive about it. :) ) There are some times when I make those kind of omissions or oversimplifications, though I avoid it when possible. For the purposes of my upcoming "F/F vs. M/M" analysis, this answer and the previous one both come into play -- my initial goal is to look at how explicitly queer fic differs between fanworks tagged "F/F" vs. "M/M." Which will unfortunately miss a whole bunch of queer fanworks featuring nonbinary characters. But I am going to simplify things by initially focusing on those two largest and most explicitly queer ship tags.

A final answer is to say that I've tried to make up for limitations in my other work by explicitly seeking out and analyzing gender diversity in some of my stats, like my analyses of Trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse characters on AO3. [Edit: and then I addressed the possible visualization complexities by looking at each of the common tags -- like "Nonbinary Character" -- separately.] At the same time, because I don't know which characters are trans or nonbinary in canon, those stats have been vague about which gender diversity is coming from canon vs. from fandom -- see my above question about good lists of canon gender diversity. (Also, this doesn't capture types of gender diversity that aren't reflected in the tags.)

Finally, a shoutout to @centrumlumina who does a fantastic job hand-labeling the gender and race of all the characters for the annual top AO3 ships analysis. I am in complete awe. Canon race and gender are both things I wish were easier to analyze/find data about -- but at least for the characters in the top 100 ships each year, Lulu has provided a great data source!

I was inspired by @hecatemoon87‘s TH Characters as series and oddly, in particular, her Tom Hardy characters as vampires post. So... let’s just say some writers have a side they keep hidden.

Now, I might one day write individual little pieces for each of these or perhaps a whole fic (because we all know I struggle with doing one-shots). However, for now, this is what I came up with.

James Delaney ‘The Devil in the Shadows’

Genres: Mysticism & Horror

Possessing a taste for cruelty and rumoured to be a vampire, James has everyone (publishers, agents, fans) quaking in their boots. The fact he seems to know an awful lot about what’s generally seen as ‘savage’ and ‘dark magick’ only feeds his image in the public eye.

His writing style is reminiscent of Edgar Allan Poe and the dark Gothic genre, the stories often set in the shadows of the Victorian era. They feel so life-like you’d think he’d actually experienced his own stories, but surely he’s just done a lot of research and done it very well.

Right?

James is very closed off from the public and strays away from social media. Any account on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or whatever other platform claiming to be him is fake. The only person he ‘talks’ (in his own way) to and occasionally gets him out of the house is his neighbour. She’s his proofreader and grateful for him escorting her to and from work (she’s supporting herself by working a waitress and singer on Friday nights), but the relationship remains difficult because she can’t get a read on him. He supports her small business and often can be found in her vicinity.

If you saw the both of them and read between the lines of his novel Taboo, you’d notice the female protagonist is eerily similar to her while the character’s counterpart resembles him.

Alfie Solomons ‘The Secret Romantic’

Genre: Romance

Alfie works under the pen name Edna Spector to prevent the men working at his bakery from finding out about his hidden side. The only one who knows the real face behind the name on the covers is a young female barista who works at a café he’s fond of, close to his bakery. It’s also with her he exchanges books and sometimes goes bookshop hopping. Totally not dating her, no, not at all.

Or are they?

Though he might not show it and the novels by other writers are carefully stowed away in his home, but Alfie is an absolute sucker for bakery love stories. So it’s no wonder the majority of his are exactly what he loves and they tend to have a very smutty side. No one’s complaining, though.

Reggie & Ron Kray ‘The Twin Menaces’

Genres: True crime & biography

The Kray twins are among the most famous (or, rather, infamous) co-authors in the publishing industry. They’ve made good money with their biography and now also write books to offer an insight into England’s underworld. It’s rumoured Ron still partakes in what goes on in the shadows, but Reggie claims they’ve both gone fully legal.

Eames ‘The Gentleman’

Genres: Dystopia & Sci-fi

No one but his publishing house and agent know his true identity. Described as Loki incarnate, Eames is THE gentleman among British writers. While his charm has influenced the acceptance of his manuscripts, it’s still mostly his natural talent for the pen that’s made him come this far.

Underlined by realism, Eames’s stories take place in a more dystopian version of our world and explores the possibilities of technology. His debut novel, Inception, is still a bestseller to this day.

Eddie Brock ‘The Vigilante’

Genre: Non-Fiction

Eddie is a journalist gone author who writes about current affairs. More often than not, his books border on true crime and have led to the downfall of some powerful people and companies. Therefore, it isn’t surprising each new release causes at least some controversy and leads to a heated debate.

He has the odd tendency to talk to himself, but most people write it off as a ‘writer thing’ and think he’s simply thinking out loud or talking through scenarios for his book.

A little known fact about Eddie is that he’s secretly a fan of fluffy romance and especially Edna Spector’s. As soon as a new book by the author is up for pre-order, he’s one of the first to place an order. Now, he could do it himself, using his laptop. However, Eddie visits the independently run bookshop he frequents to support its owner (on who he secretly has a crush). It’s also here where he can often be found working on a new book, sitting in the romance section, or, if it’s Monday, helping out with the weekly shipment.

Leo Demidov ‘The Brooding Lion’

Genre: Thriller

Leo is an ex-KGB agent who uses his own experiences for his detective/spy series, which is set in the country he once called home. After losing his wife to the Russian regime, the widower fled from Russia. The decision was also in part due to his unwillingness to partake in the war with Ukraine.

The British stiff upper lip is easier to break through than the walls Leo has erected around himself. The only person or, rather, thing who knows him best is his keyboard. Sounds strange, but he bought one that’s like a typewriter since it reminds him of his grandfather’s typewriter he used to use to write letters. Although, perhaps there’s one person he occasionally shows what lies beneath the cold and distant attitude: his agent. And she’s known him long enough to pick up on the hidden hints of distress between the lines of his stories.

He has co-written a book with the Kray Twins about the ties between Russia, the Russian underworld and the English criminal underbelly.

Bob Saginowski ‘The Storyteller’

Genre: Urban fantasy

Bob bases his stories on what happens during his shifts at the pub he works at as a barman. To think of it, it was only a matter of time before he’d turn to writing because he certainly has the classic ‘writer personality’. He’s a bit of a dreamer, shy, and quiet. However, he tends to be chatty when he drops by his favourite café for breakfast after a late-night shift or is hungover. Although, it should be noted he’s only like that when a particular girl is at work. She’s the only person he’s fond of in a way he’s never been of anyone else and it leaves him puzzled. All that he knows is that he enjoys her company and values her feedback. Also, in his words, she smells nice. Really, really nice.

His most popular book is about Tom, a werewolf barman who saves the girl he has a crush on from a Victorian vampire. It’s rumoured a spin-off is in the works focusing on the relationship between the two.

By the way, has anyone else noticed he isn’t on duty when there’s a full moon?

Forrest Bondurant ‘The Writing Husband’

Genre: Adventure

Forrest isn’t good with words, that is, when it comes to talking. However, on the page, he has a natural flow in which each word is chosen with purpose. So it seems anyways, but if you’d ask him about his style and vocabulary choices you’ll get nothing more than a shrug and a “I write, that’s all there is to it.”

His main inspirations are Defoe’s Robin Crusoe, Henri Charriére’s Papillon and Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness (also a source of inspiration for James Delaney). Henceforth, his protagonists often find themselves out in the wild with all the dangers it accompanies. Moreover, and only his wife knows how unashamed he is in this, he loves the Indiana Jones, Assassin’s Creed and Uncharted franchises so there’s often the hunt for some lost artefact in his tales. Also, yes, he loves video games. He might not be good at them, but nothing beats a night filled with beer and gaming (preferably with his wife).

God This is Pathetic

You really have people getting honestly upset that parts of the GIANT, NUCLEAR WASTE LASER SPEWING SEA LIZARD are now pink instead of blue.

Because pink isn't "masculine." Never mind the fact that Godzilla isn't always depicted as being "male" (not even really a Godzilla "fan," only seen a few of the movies, and even I know that), and, honestly, assigning gender, much less gender ROLES, to fictional giant nuclear dinosaurs is fucking stupid.

"But it's not his original color!!1!"

My Brother in Christ, not only has Godzilla used pink before, the original movie was in BLACK AND WHITE.

How damn fragile can some cis-het dudes' egos even GET?! This is the whole "(Movie) Venom has to be straight so I can project my self-worth onto them, and will therefore bend over backwards to redefine as many words and meanings as I have to to make that happen!" debaucle all over again.

(For context, when, after the 2nd movie came out, and they had Venom straight up say that he and Eddie loved each other, and showing that neither of them were straight, the cis-het "comic" dude-bros threw an absolute fucking fit. Not only would they violently chuck aside the info that Eddie Brock had been canonically bisexual in the comics since the 80's and that the two had 100% been in a very much romantic relationship for decades, but they would also claim that "Venom's not gay because he's asexual!!" Except, A}, You're [purposefully] throwing asexuality and asexual reproduction into a damn blender. And, B}Asexuals are 100% part of the LGBTQ community)

The concept of a "Thunderbolts: Kill the Avengers" really intrigues me. Yet I just want to write down my own take on it of what I would do with it. But be warned, this is essentially fan fiction and takes elements from certain stories. Because alias, this was something that really has been on my mind. And you can be critical about it if you've read comics.

The roster of the Thunderbolts is not fully known. Originally, I REALLY wanted Agent Venom/Flash Thompson to be in this and the "Lead character" in a sense due to how I love Flash's story and development as a character. But I feel it would make more sense and more interesting if it was Eddie Brock as THE VENOM. While Flash as Agent Venom would be...less of a "Reformed supervillain" and more of a superhero. I just really loved the idea of Symbiote gameplay with guns. And I feel like Flash needs more spotlight with his character development during the years. But the idea of an Eddie Brock/Venom being the "Lead character" in this game would get more people's attention. Where in this world after he had teamed up with Spider-Man to fight Carnage, Venom had killed Cletus and was sent back to prison. Even if Eddie and Peter have a new form of relationship where Peter can trust him but not fully. And now, with a new threat on the horizon, the idea to add Venom into new team gives Eddie more of a chance to prove himself (Or themselves, Eddie and the Symbiote) as a "Lethal Protector". Venom is silly but can be serious when he needs to be. This is also in a time where Mac Gargan never became Venom.

2. Songbird is one of the other major members of the Thunderbolts, a member from the original team. The other choices for the other two are unknown because I want the team to be unique and not have maybe like two Spider-Man villains.

Possible choices are Whiplash and Taskmaster. Each member has their own unique skills and move set. While Venom is a heavy but with Spider-Man like abilities but also using the Symbiote. Songbird is able to fly and use sound-based powers.

The story takes place in a time where the "Civil War" was prevented, Peter's identity was never revealed, and Steve and others never died. And the Thunderbolts weren't formed yet. Or a new version of the Thunderbolts not led by Baron Zemo. I am aware the Thunderbolts were a thing before "Civil War". But because of the threat of a villain unlike any other. Thunderbolt Ross brings out the idea of the Thunderbolts back into the spotlight because there seems to be no other choice.

Edit update there is a likely possibility of Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier being the third official choice in this Thunderbolts team. Going with the idea that he was only recently defeated and having his memories restored. He is no longer a brainwashed assassin. And despite going into prison, Steve was personally trying to help out Bucky through possibly therapy to help him on the right path. But when the invasion started, Bucky is one of the villains who wants to be on the Thunderbolts to possibly save Steve if he can. Because I realize there's a tragic angle of Steve almost going through the same thing as Bucky did.

The Winter Soldier's skills would be familiar to fans of shooters and essentially the Thunderbolt's own Captain America in a sense. Someone with similar skills but not like Venom and Songbird.

3. The main villain is a weird choice. The original idea was Doctor Doom. But I question if that would work right. Other ideas are Ultron, Kang, and Red Skull. But Ultron would mainly make robot copies of the Avengers while the other two are a different story. You'd also have to include Hank Pym in an Ultron story because Ultron was his creation.

I thought maybe the best course of option would be to make an original villain who has divided many of the superheroes on Earth. Because he's very aware if you have all of those teams uniting, there's going to be trouble. The Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom are stuck in Latveria dealing with an invasion. The X-Men and Brotherhood of Mutants are stuck in another area. While other major Avengers like Black Panther, Falcon/Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange are stuck in another area. Even other characters like Ghost Rider are transported somewhere else and a scary idea that the villain erased Deadpool out of existence, but everyone knows he was killed. It sounds fuckin stupid but scary as shit because the villain was aware of how self-aware Deadpool is and considered him way too dangerous to be left alive.

The main villain in a sick way wants to make his own Avengers or something. Almost like a sick game of roleplay. New York City is put into quarantine because S.H.I.E.L.D. does not want any of the invasion to go anywhere else. Have the main villain be voiced by Alex Brightman in his Adam voice from Hazbin Hotel.

The main four Avengers that have been brainwashed to do the villain's work are the big four that many people know. Captain America/Steve Rogers, Iron Man/Tony Stark, Thor, and Hulk/Bruce Banner.

Cap has killed Nick Fury. Iron Man has killed Hawkeye and Black Widow. Thor has killed Loki. And Hulk has killed the Abomination. Maria Hill is in charge of S.H.I.E.L.D. now after Fury's death and the recruitment of the Thunderbolts is a last resort because there are hardly any heroes left in New York City.

4. Spider-Man/Peter Parker is essentially the "Wonder Woman" of the game. Despite not really being an Avenger and having an off and on relationship with them. Particularly having issues with Iron Man and Thor. But he is rather fond and friendly with Steve Rogers and Bruce Banner. Peter has been Spider-Man for a decade and likely 24 years old.

Being one of the only heroes left not brainwashed in New York City. After the Defenders were gravely injured, and his close ally Daredevil nearly dying. Spider-Man is Hellbent on stopping the invasion despite how stressful it's been. He is making jokes, but he stressed and pissed. Especially with having a mixed relationship with the Avengers. He is surprisingly OP how he is in the 616 comics which is the reason he's been able to survive for so long. He's also Hellbent on stopping the invasion because Mary Jane is six months pregnant with Mayday during this time and is still in the city but safe.

He is trying to figure out a way get the Avengers out of the villain's control despite what they've done. And he's not dealing with the Thunderbolt's bullshit, especially Venom. Because even though Carnage was killing people, Peter did not want Eddie to kill Cletus, but he did it anyway. This sounds stupid but Peter has not wanted Venom to kill Carnage before. Despite Venom doing it to protect innocents. Which Venom brings up of what he's able to do what Peter won't.

But he is horrified when he learns from Steve that they need to die in order to save the world. The brainwashing/corruption is irreversible, and Spider-Man now has to accept the harsh reality that the Thunderbolts need to kill the Avengers.

5. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur are stuck in the city as well and help the Thunderbolts by making them gear and whatever else. But honestly, this addition seems kind of insane because of three things.

The idea of that Moon Girl, a literal middle schooler living in this reality and inadvertently or...helping the Thunderbolts kill the Avengers. And living in this dark reality that they have to kill them.

I swear, if she is in this. People would straight up say, "Wait, wouldn't she be able to come up with a way to free the Avengers?"

The funny irony that the four big Avengers died...but the only remaining heroes in New York City are Spider-Man, Moon Girl, Devil Dinosaur, and a bunch of reformed supervillains.

Anyway, there is also the idea of adding Doctor Octopus into the team to invent stuff for the team too.

6. The corruption of the Avengers is viewed as a literal nightmare. And their deaths are viewed as a literal tragedy instead of a joyous victory or a joke afterwards. Including details that before their corruption. Tony was going through a possible "Demon in the Bottle" arc before he got brainwashed and was trying to do better.

And things like Venom not wanting to kill Captain America. But also, before their deaths, they have small moments of being able to be free of their brainwashing. Or when near death, they are free of it but realized what they have done.

One of the most tragic ones is the Hulk who is considered to be the most dangerous. While Hulk is being brainwashed, Bruce isn't. And knowing he sadly can't cure his condition or that his "Friend" can't be helped. Bruce decides to sacrifice himself in some way, saying he'd rather die like a man doing the right thing. And asks either the Thunderbolts or most likely Spider-Man to tell Betty he's sorry.

I think I've said enough. I just wanted to ramble about that.

2022 Year in Review

6. Work I'm most proud of... Honestly? Dust to Dust is the obvious answer, because any progress I make on it, I consider an accomplishment... but I'm really, stupidly happy with how "Anywhere but Here" (Eddie Brock | Venom & Mary Jane Watson, set during Maximum Carnage) turned out. MJ is such a complicated character with such a long, long, long history behind her and I'd wanted to address the friction between her and Venom for an awfully long time. As you can see by the bottom (being shameless here) I was happy enough with it that I wanted some art, and @maydayparkers was kind enough to indulge me.

7. Work I'm least proud of: Kind of an odd question? I'm proud of everything I wrote this year, haha, but hmmm I wish I'd done more research on the Fantastic Four comics of the era before writing "A Day at the Park". I felt pretty unsure going into writing it, because I really wanted to write the time that the Venom Symbiote was in the custody of the F4 but I didn't want to read the Byrne F4 run... still, it's not like me to write something in an era where I'm largely winging it. I'm glad the fic was well-received regardless, I loved writing ReedSue (and Franklin!).

8. A favorite review I received: Let me tell you something: I got not one but two really heartfelt comments on "The Look of You" (symbiot3, a focus on Eddie), which is a fic I was a little nervous about posting but I'm so glad I did. I also got some beautiful art done by my friend Nex (my commission is the second picture in the link), which you can see also at the bottom of the fic.

@guessimabasicnerdgirlnow also left me these really sweet words:

Aww, this is beautiful. We don’t see fictional men with body image issues often, but this fits Eddie very well, he’s very proud of those muscles so it’s easy to imagine that the idea of getting fat would bother him. Good thing he has two loving partners that are there for him to help him accept this new shape and understand that it is healthy. (And who also helped him reach this healthy state in first place). Ah, and isn’t this setting a fan’s perfect fantasy: them all happy and living in decent conditions, getting healthier, loving and supporting one another? 🥺

I also had a close friend reach out to me after reading the fic to tell me how much it meant to her, and that she really enjoyed seeing a story where weight gain and body shape change were portrayed as a positive thing. In fact I'm getting a little choked up and teary just thinking about what she said because it really, really touched me.

Like... a lot of what I write is just kind of silly, self-indulgent stuff. Or fluff. Or smut. But this is one that was really important to me.

9. A time when writing was really, really hard: Uuuuhhh gosh. I burned myself out pretty hard after Symbruary, but I managed to get "Complicate Me, Elevate Me" out as my 100th fic after a DTD update. It's probably my favorite Symbiot3 smutfic that I've written so far. Porn with feelings! It took me forEVER to finish, though, especially given that I'd started it back in February.

10. A scene or character you wrote that surprised you: When I was trying to come up with ideas for Comics Scarlet Witch Week, which eventually led to "What Binds Us Together", I was stunned to discover that Victoria and Wanda had canon interactions together. I guess I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed writing them together, to the point where I'm excited to write them in a much larger piece for this year. I love... women.... 💋

I also created an attorney OC for Dust to Dust Chs. 12-13 that I got really weirdly attached to LOL. Jason Tolliver, you deserve better than what I put you through.

11. A favorite excerpt of your writing: From "Stranger in a Strange Land" (Andi Benton | Mania & April Parker), which I wrote for Symbruary Day 1:

Her expression wavered. For a second, it looked like April was going to break down, but all at once, her whole face set. She ground her teeth and shoved past Andi. “You’re wrong. I’m not like any scenario you’ve ever known.” She watched April keep going. And then- “Mania was made in a lab.” April stopped. “My… my symbiote. It - she was made in a lab. Just a piece of the Venom symbiote. A copy.” Andi stepped closer, uncertain at first, but her voice growing clearer as she went on. “For the longest time, she didn’t know who she was, or how to feel, or where she belonged - even getting attached to me, it was a mistake. She was alone, and scared, and all she’d ever known her whole life was anger and hatred.”

12. How did you grow as a writer this year: I expanded into quite a few more pairings! I wrote my first Parksborn fic, I wrote a fic focused just on Tarna and her partner from Venom: Space Knight, my first proper PeterMJ fic, and my first fic with Jubulile as Toxin's host. I also wrote my first fic with Wanda that I've truly felt proud of (sorry, Wavelengths) with "What Binds Us Together".

13. How do you hope to grow next year: Honestly, I want to continue expanding the characters and pairings I write about. I want to explore a wider variety of characters - like honestly. I want to write more women. That might sound silly but it's true! I just need to get some of my ideas actually into Fic Form instead of just rolling them around in my head.

14. Who was your greatest positive influence this year: Oh gosh oh gosh. There are so many people I could tag here. @amaronith, always, for never letting DTD die and for always supporting my symbiot3 works. @softgrungeprophet for the HOURS of conversation about PeterFlash and HarryFlash and Flash Generally Speaking. @theopolis for accidentally giving DTD a B plot by getting me into Harry (like, REALLY getting me into Harry). @seek--rest for her insight on fic stuff and encouraging me to go outside my comfort zone. The 3 artists I commissioned for works based on my fics. @decaffeinatedparadisemaker for just being an absolutely delightful person to get to know and I love talking to him about fic stuff. @oliveroctavius for also giving me Harry brain worms but in a different way. Possibly a worse way. I have a WIP inspired by one of his pieces, it's.. it's definitely something lol.

15. Anything from your real life show up in your writing this year: There's a character in one of my fics named after one of my co-workers. That's all I'm gonna say!

16. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers: Don't read comics or you will get way more ideas than you will know what to do with. Also don't read comics intending to learn more about one ship because you'll just end up completely fixated on a different ship and before you know it you've got a high school au with a meetcute between a football player and a marching band pit member and also it's based on the Gwen Stacy mini.

17. Any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year: OBVIOUSLY I'm looking forward to getting back to Dust to Dust. Hopefully this weekend I'll finish the New Year's Eve Coffee Bean Gang fic I meant to finish.. uh.. last weekend. But otherwise, there are a tooooon of WIPs in the most recent entries of the asked and answered tag. Have fun!

Can you imagine all those people down in Times Square, just… just kissing strangers? All because of, what, the time of the year? Getting twenty dollar hats and stupid novelty sunglasses you can only wear for one day, tourist madness, all night cleanup for—”

¿What if Venom 2007 was in Spider-Man No Way Home?

To: Topher Grace, Tom Holland, Jon Watts, Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios

Intro

¿What if events went differently in the MCU? ¿What if Venom 2007 was in Spider-Man No Way Home? In today’s fan fiction we’re going to be exploring what would have happened if Topher Grace’s Venom from the Raimiverse was teleported to the MCU by Doctor Strange’s spell. ¿How can this affect the multiverse going forward? This is my own take of events taking inspiration from the 2007-08 One More Day and 2014-15 Spider-Verse story arcs with elements from the 2010 One Moment in Time comic while following the mythology of Venom and Spider-Man and the timeline of the Raimiverse and the MCU respectively. Without wasting anymore time sit back and relax and enjoy this 2 part fan fiction.

Prologue

Now that we saw a world where 2018 Venom helped Spider-Man during the final battle with the villains in one universe now it’s time to see another universe with a darker version of Venom from Peter-Two’s universe. I am the Watcher. I am ur guide to these vast new realities. Follow me and pounder the question. What If…

Part 1

The events of No Way Home were playing out the same as in our universe. Peter Parker has been exposed as Spider-Man which costs MJ, Ned and even Peter himself to not get into MIT prompting Peter to go Doctor Strange for help and casted the spell to erase everyone’s knowledge of Spider-Man and in this universe something else would happen. Meanwhile, in the Raimiverse the events of Spider-Man 3 were playing out the same as well with Peter-Two removing the symbiote out of him and landing on Eddie Brock who became known as Venom. Venom was about to get his revenge on Spider-Man after seeing who he really was and his identity as Peter-Two and our story begins when he looked out the window of the church and heard booming sounds. The symbiote was confused and told Eddie that something was happening. Eddie asked the symbiote what was going on and Venom fell to the ground drained. He looked outside the church saying that it was a bright sunny day and before the weird stuff happened it was raining outside. Eddie knew that something was amiss and decided to go outside as Venom. Venom went outside and changed back into Eddie Brock’s form. He saw people at the church. As the music was playing he bumped into somebody who dropped a bunch of papers and he ran out of the building. Knowing that something was off maybe he was dreaming all this time. Venom spoke to Eddie in his head telling him that he might have ended up into another reality due to the symbiotes having a hive mind meaning that they can sense one another. The symbiote said another symbiote could be around but didn’t mattered. What mattered was to get home taking revenge on Spider-Man. Eddie panicked and questioned the voice in his head telling the voice to stop talking before they were both interrupted by a massive TV screen. Eddie was shocked to see J. Jonah Jameson but it wasn’t his version of him as the one he knew had a set of hair and he looked around seeing people of this world but they were different. They were dressed differently. J. Jonah Jameson started talking about how Peter Parker the wanted criminal known as the murderer Spider-Man. Eddie was shocked to hear the news seeing a photo of Peter Parker on the screen. He knew that the symbiote wasn’t lying and that he jumped into a new universe. Eddie’s grin became bigger as this Peter Parker has been humiliated and broken. He was glad to hear that Peter Parker was facing what he’s been for all this while as a public menace. But now with the powers of the symbiote Eddie thought to himself that maybe he could still take revenge on Peter Parker even if it wasn’t his version of Spider-Man. With one less Spider-Man around it would make his life easier. At the same time the events with Strange and Peter played out the same with Peter telling Strange about MIT and he was kicked out of the Sanctum heading off to find the lady from the MIT. Meanwhile, Venom had been training around the city. Eddie learned how to web swing with the symbiote training until he knew he was ready to face off with Spider-Man of this universe. Peter arrived on the bridge like our universe however this time when he was asking the lady about MIT something else happened as someone else would attack Parker. Peter’s spider sense went off as a black goo went on his hand. He started to panic as people screamed running away. They got out of the cars and they didn’t know where it was coming from but before Parker could think Venom had tracked Peter down to the bridge using the symbiote’s powers. Parker fell backwards putting his Iron-Spider suit on quickly. Venom screamed in Peter’s face. Parker was confused but asked who he was. Venom told Spider-Man that he was Venom. Peter didn’t know what to think but before he could do anything Venom used his webs on the ladies car door pulling it off hitting Parker towards the edge of the road. The train was down below. Peter tried to fight back but any move was countered by Venom. Peter tried to get a fight pattern going but it was too late. Venom kicked him backwards beating the hell out of Spider-Man on the road. Screaming in his face Venom told Parker that he took everything away from him and now he will take his life away. As Venom could give a killing blow to Spider-Man Doc Ock emerged from the bridge destroying everything around him. “What have u done with my machine” Ock yelled at Venom. Thinking it was Spider-Man Ock lunged a metal arm towards Venom but the symbiote dodged the attack. Venom screamed at Ock and Peter who was down for the count tried his best to get up but couldn’t. Venom fought briefly with Ock. Ock put up a good fight before Venom destroyed Doc Ock’s arms. He kicked Doc Ock off of the bridge to an oncoming train. When Venom was about to attack Spider-Man he heard a laugh in the distance. Spider-Man told Ock not to worry. He used his webs to save him in the Nick of time pulling Otto back up from the bridge. Spider-Man webbed him up tying him with webs. Venom turned to his right side to see that it was the Green Goblin of his own world remembering Peter’s memory that Goblin should have been killed. This confused Venom but he knew that he had time to think before they were teleported away. Peter was shocked to see that he was ok. He looked around seeing creatures and people trapped in locked cells. Parker was surprised that he was back in the Sanctum Sanctorum. Peter asked what was going on before Doctor Strange approached Peter explaining that ever since they messed up the spell earlier everyone who knows Peter’s Spider-Man from other universes have been leaking through this world. Peter was shocked to hear it but it was confirmed when he saw 3 people in cells. Venom, Lizard and Doc Ock had been in their cells caught. Venom tried to break out of the cell but to no avail. Doctor Strange ordered Peter to clean this mess up. The more he doesn’t the more villains could wreck havoc across New York. Like in our universe Peter would gain the help of Ned and MJ to stop the villains before things started getting out of hand. Before they left Venom taunted Spider-Man explaining how he knows everything about him and that he took everything away from him. Otto told Venom to shut up before Venom lashed out saying that he was a dead man laughing revealing that Spider-Man also killed him. Venom told Otto that he remembered Spider-Man destroying his machines at the docks and then killed him for good. Ock couldn’t believe it but deep down he knew that it must’ve been true. Venom knew every detail about Peter’s life in his own universe and took advantage of this by manipulating them to join him. Peter said that it wasn’t true before he left in his inside out suit to haunt the following villains. Meanwhile at the Sanctum Sanctorum Venom told Otto that he wanted to kill the spider. “We want to kill the spider. Together we can break out of here”. Otto smirked while Spider-Man dealt with Electro and Sandman. The events with Norman Osborn played out the same as in our universe with him smashing the Goblin mask before walking away learning of Peter Parker in this universe. Otto wanted peace. Spider-Man had taken in Sandman and Electro like in our universe with the help of Ned and MJ. Strange was glad that most of the villains have been dealt with but he still needed to find the one that was on the glider at the bridge. This time before Otto could explain to Peter Venom told Peter that the man he seeks was one that he murdered in cold blood. He told Peter that he could try and haunt down the ghost telling everyone in the room that Spider-Man had killed Green Goblin with his glider manipulating the story again. Venom said that if everyone wants to live they need to join him and kill Spider-Man to reclaim what they once lost.

Ultimate finale

Otto agreed but never knew that Peter was so evil. Lizard, Electro and Sandman were on the fence about joining Venom especially Sandman. He explained to everyone in the room how Venom was a liar and that he lied to him when he tried to team up to take down Spider-Man. Sandman said that he was a hero and that Otto died because he drowned and that the Goblin was killed by his own glider. Venom became intrigued by this asking Flint what happened to him. Flint told Venom the future on how Spider-Man killed him with the pumpkin bomb. Venom was shell-shocked knowing that this was the Flint of his world but the symbiote told him that it must have been the future. The villains didn’t believe Sandman and Venom told Flint that he lied about everything. As the villains were arguing about themselves Peter decided to leave and went to seek Norman Osborn who he saw at Feast. As Peter got Norman he told him he was sorry as Strange locked him in a cell. With all the villains captured Doctor Strange said that Peter kills them in each of their universes and they’re not being able to accept this. Peter wanted to help the villains. He told Strange that there needed to be another way as Spider-Man isn’t a killer. Venom taunted Spider-Man again and said to him that if he didn’t help them out then he would continue being a cold-blooded killer. Doctor Strange yelled for Peter not to do this as he was being manipulated. Before Strange could react a web took the magic box before Strange fought with Spider-Man in the Sanctum Sanctorum. Parker dodged attacks from Doctor Strange who told him that he lost his mind and that he can’t be trusted anymore. This time Doctor Strange didn’t fight him in the Mirror Dimension but rather in the Sanctum. Using magic and spells to defeat Spider-Man wasn’t working. Norman and Otto yelled for Peter to save them before putting the pressure on Peter. Parker dodged a spell that broke parts of the ceiling on Doctor Strange knocking him out cold. Peter ran to his aid to see if he was okay before the spell on the cells had broken. Parker told the villains that he could cure them if they gave him a chance but they didn’t listen as Venom grabbed the box from Peter while Sandman, Lizard and Electro ran away. Norman smirked begging for help. Spider-Man tried to help him before Norman punched him in the face. Parker flew across the room and everyone stopped. As Electro, Lizard and Sandman were about to leave the Sanctum Sanctorum Green Goblin told them that they have gifts and that they don’t need to be cured of Spider-Man. Venom agreed telling everyone how Spider-Man murdered everyone and that if they can kill him they can rewrite history. Green Goblin smashed Peter’s face smashing it through the wall before dragging his body towards the group while Venom beat down on him with Ock. Green Goblin told the rest to go to Feast where they could upgrade their suits and equipment. While Parker is broken by the villains he made a last-ditch effort to phone Ned and MJ about the situation telling them that the villains have escaped and that they’re coming for Aunt May. Peter tried phoning Aunt May multiple times but she didn’t pick up the phone. Parker became enraged. He looked at Doctor Strange’s body where he found a sling ring. Knowing this would help him maybe he could defeat the villains. Peter decided to take it and he met up with Ned and MJ where they could help him if they needed him. Peter met with them and they all hugged on a building rooftop. They asked how he could do it alone. Peter put his head down but told them that they need him to use it and ask for him. Strange explained this earlier but it would help him just in case he doesn’t come back. They cried before Peter left them with one last group hug. Peter swung to the Feast building where he stood in shock. A black web and letters told Spider-Man that today he would die. Parker heard screaming as Peter ran towards the top of the building before he could see that Electro had Tony’s technology, Otto had new arms and Green Goblin was hovering over all of them. Doc Ock had Aunt May with his new arms. Venom told him that if he comes any closer than his Aunt May would die. Venom then laughed saying that it was the Green Goblin who revealed her location and that this would be his weakness because in his universe Uncle Ben was his weakness. Knowing that this needed to end now. Peter gave a big breath before screaming at the villains. He used his webs to dodge Venom before Electro charged up and Spider-Man dodged it and the bolt hit Venom’s back. As this happened Spider-Man kicked Lizard in the face using his webs to attack the Goblin’s glider kicking Otto in the head knocking him out temporarily. Aunt May fell to the ground before Peter grabbed him. As he grabbed her Sandman told Parker that he didn’t want to die so he must fight him knocking him back. Parker lost his grip on Aunt May before Venom grabbed her with the web. Venom had May where May begged for her life before Green Goblin took her from Venom hovering over Parker. Parker was outmatched 6 to 1. Anything he tried to do wasn’t working. Green Goblin told Peter that only fools are heroes and that it only takes one person to ruin everything. Peter lunged at Goblin before Venom used the symbiote holding him down. Venom told Parker that Goblin was going to kill Aunt May in front of him so that he can experience what they felt when they were killed by him. Green Goblin took out a blade from his wrist and was ready to kill her before he smiled and dropped her. Parker screamed “MAY” as she fell down the building ripping the symbiote tendrils. Peter almost died for Aunt May but it was already too late. Peter had Aunt May in his hands. Aunt May told Peter that he was good and was only trying to do good. She said that “With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility” before dying in Peter’s arms. Peter screamed and the Bugle came on time reporting on the incident. Green Goblin flew behind Peter where he choked him punching Spider-Man in the face 3 times before throwing him down where Venom used the symbiote to knock him back. Sandman punched Spider-Man and Lizard jumped on him kicking him towards Electro where he kept shocking Peter. Green Goblin walked towards Spider-Man and was ready to kill him before Venom used the symbiote to grab Goblin’s knife before stabbing it into Peter. Venom picked up Peter’s body and threw him away. Venom said that it was done as Green Goblin took a bomb throwing it. As the villains left Feast the building blew up and came down on Spider-Man. MJ and Ned had been worried about Parker so they’ve decided to use the sling ring asking for Peter Parker. Peter from another world came out of the portal and explained how he was Spider-Man from another universe which that would be Andrew Garfield alias Peter-Three. Peter was shocked to see them. He was confused but knew that he was sent to another reality. MJ and Ned asked for his help as they haven’t heard from their Peter. They saw in the news that Feast had been obliterated. They tried to get Peter back but another Peter Parker came from the portal. It was none other than Tobey Maguire alias Peter-Two. He explained how he was sent here but he didn’t know why. Because of this he knew that he needed to help him. As Peter-Two and Three saw each other they briefly fought before knowing they were on the same side. They immediately suited up in this universe as all the villains have been on the loose and not cured. Peter-Two and Three swung to Feast only to find everything broken but someone was standing there. They approached the man who was none other than Doctor Strange himself who was shocked to see 2 other Spider-Men. Strange said how he was too late to save the kid. If only he had listened then maybe none of this would have happened. The 2 Spider-Men lifted debris but couldn’t find anything. Peter-Two yelled and he saw an arm where both Parkers started lifting him. They got Peter-Prime out of the debris but he was hurt badly. Peter was crying but he saw MJ and Ned. They ran to him where they hugged Peter. Peter slowly got up as he looked to see Doctor Strange and 2 other Spider-Men. Peter was destroyed as his Aunt May was killed by the villains who he originally wanted to help cure and send them back. Peter told the other 2 Spider-Men that he doesn’t care anymore about what happens but he said that he was going to put an end to this. Peter vowed that he was going to kill every last one of them. “There isn’t much time left to stop them” Doctor Strange said. They had the box and if they use it they could destroy the multiverse. The villains knew that the box needed to be destroyed. If Strange got it they would be sent back to their OG spots before they were killed. Venom told them that if they destroyed the box then they can’t be sent back home. Green Goblin took the box laughing before blowing it up with a pumpkin bomb on the Statue of Liberty. The 3 Spider-Men saw the explosion knowing that they needed to stop this right now. Strange saw the multiverse started to break and knew that he had to stop this. Peter-Prime asked to go with them as this was his fight. The 2 Peters looked at each other and agreed giving their hands out to him before saying goodbye to MJ and Ned. The universe has changed as they aren’t curing the villains but putting them away for good this time. As the villains looked to see the multiverse break they were confused on what was going on before they were met with 3 Spider-Men. Peter-Two couldn’t believe his eyes. He saw Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Sandman and Venom altogether. Things were about to get personal. Venom looked at one of the Spider-Men but made a massive scream telling Parker that now he gets his revenge on his own Spider-Man. Venom revealed his face to the 3 Spider-Men. Peter-Two was shocked that Eddie has returned. Peter-Two had unfinished business with Venom after the death of Harry Osborn in his universe. Peter-Three saw Electro and the Lizard trying to calm them down before the battle began. Doctor Strange began to create the spell trying to fix the multiverse before it was doomed. Peter-Two and Venom locked into a brawl and Peter-Prime attacked Green Goblin. Peter-Three started fighting Electro and the Lizard. The fight was insane as both sides wanted to win. Peter-Two yelled that Venom’s weakness was loud noises. Peter decided to take revenge. He kicked Green Goblin off of his glider making him fall to his death before Peter-Three knew that he couldn’t let him die before saving the Goblin. He got into a heated battle down below. Norman stabbed Peter-Three with a knife down below as Peter-Three went to hand-to-hand combat knocking out Green Goblin. Venom webbed up Peter-Two. Peter-Two had flashbacks of this before he was webbed up and saw his friend die. He couldn’t let that happen again to Peter-Prime. With all his might he tried his best to break free. Peter fought with Venom on top of the Statue of Liberty. Venom gained the upper hand on Peter who was already weakened and clawed his face before summoning a symbiote knife. Eddie smiled before stabbing it into Peter-Prime kicking him to the ground. Otto looked shocked as Peter-Prime was stabbed. Venom umasked Peter-Two throwing his mask away explaining how all he wanted was sweet revenge and now he can get it on 3 Peters. Ock stood still and said “Peter”. He knew that it was his Peter. Parker told Otto that Venom was manipulating him to fight him. Otto knew that something was amiss and that maybe Peter had been right all along. Venom said that he enjoyed his revenge before summoning the blade and was ready to kill him before Ock’s arms wrapped around Venom. Venom screamed using the symbiote to break free before Maguire’s Spider-Man screamed throwing Venom off of the Statue of Liberty. Venom hit hard down below trying to crawl to his feet. Peter-Two punched Venom again and again as Peter-Three was dishing out blows to the Green Goblin. Sandman helped Otto after realizing that he’s been tricked. They stopped the Lizard and Electro. Peter-Two and Three were hit back by the symbiote and the symbiote started getting bigger. Peter-Prime looked down below before knowing that they needed help. Otto extended a hand out to him. Peter-Prime got back up and thanked him before jumping all the way down. Peter-Two and Three along with Green Goblin had been knocked out by Venom who had turned into a completely new monster. Venom screamed saying that they will all die before Peter-Prime stood in front of him. Venom laughed and said that it was too late for him. Peter screamed running towards Venom lunging at him as the other 2 Peters were down for the count. They could only watch down below. Peter punched Venom again and again before some of the Venom symbiote had gotten onto him. Peter-Two slowly got up and told Peter-Prime not to take the symbiote. The power of the symbiote was tempting. Then Peter-Prime remembered what Aunt May told him as Peter kept getting the symbiote on him punching Venom. He started ripping the tendrils off of him. Venom laid on the ground defeated. Peter-Two helped Peter-Three up before they walked towards Venom who was unconscious. Peter-Two said that he did good and didn’t give in to his anger. A voice can be heard. “Can Spider-Man come out to play”. Green Goblin has crawled his way back up laughing. He took a pumpkin bomb telling the heroes that he would all be going with him to hell. As he detonated the bomb the 3 Spider-Men’s spider sense went off as Venom tried to lunge behind them. Peter-Two took one of the bombs throwing it at Venom before Peter-Prime and Three threw the other at Green Goblin. The bombs exploded defeating Green Goblin and Venom for good. Green Goblin tried to crawl before Peter-Two knocked him out. The Venom symbiote had been destroyed in the process. Eddie Brock was down for the count. Peter might have cured him in the end and Strange told the 3 Spider-Men that he was sending everyone home and forgetting that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Parker agreed as the 3 hugged one last time before Peter hugged MJ and Ned one last time. Venom and the Sinister 6 had been defeated. Peter sent everyone back and Strange screamed performing the spell erasing everyone from knowing that Peter was Spider-Man. Everybody was sent back and everything was fixed. The multiverse hadn’t been destroyed. Peter came home missing May but knew that she would be proud of him. At the same time Eddie in the Raimiverse wouldn’t get the symbiote in Spider-Man 3 leading to him never attacking Peter. Harry would live as Peter would never fight Venom or no other Venom after he ripped the symbiote off him. In the MCU Tom Hardy’s Venom was sent back and Peter woke up after a long day only to find himself dangling near a tall building. He looked in the mirror seeing that his whole suit was black. He knew that the Venom symbiote might not have fully left the Stark suit and Peter smiled as he had full power…

And that is going to be it for what if Venom 2007 was in Spider-Man No Way Home. Now the ending of this story could indeed lead into a possible confrontation between Tom Hardy and Holland’s Venom and Spider-Man with the symbiote now in his suit like at the end of this fan fiction. At the time I’m writing this I wanna ask you’ll this. ¿Are you’ll really excited for Phase 5 and 6 especially Avengers the Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars cause I sure am and let’s hope that Feige announces the new Spider-Man trilogy at D23 because that would be insane. Trust me that when these movies come out these fan fictions are going to explode because even if the multiverse gets destroyed there will still be other universes to explore and I can’t wait for that because I’ll be hard at work throwing all those fan fictions for u guys to enjoy. I will start to divide my fan fictions making several collections like the Raimiverse, Webbverse, Star Wars, comics, video games, DC Universe, Nolanverse, DCEU, Marvel Universe, X-Men, Avengers 2000 and in terms of the MCU the Infinity Saga and now introducing the Multiverse Saga fan fictions so things are going to be heating up here and I can’t wait for you’ll to see the next fan fictions so be on the lookout for all this and more what ifs coming soon.
