Truly amazing. In an incredible display of his power, the Dragon God of Time Akatosh has decided to grant us an additional day this year! Please be sure to pay your respects to Akatosh, as he may deign to grant us another additional day in a few years if you do!
Decided to make a quick height chart for the Phantasmagoria Beasts, though I only drew SM, ES and BS since they were the only ones with designs I'd decided on XD. Knowledge is the only pre-corruption one since he actually goes through a height change after being sealed in the silver tree.
They're really tall, tall enough that they don't...exactly feel like 'cookies'. Except for Knowledge, he's an exception. The others tease him about it lol.
i have like a joke in my head about a space alien who is trying to learn about earth so he invites you over for dinner and then you see his computer is open and his browser tabs look like this
but i can't think of a way to phrase it to make it actually funny
I'm not really satisfied with how that Vivec turned out so maybe I'll try to make a better one next time. I also wanted to draw the Tribunal as I saw someone suggest that ( I appreciate it :3 ) but I haven't really played through the game entirely yet so I don't know the characters that well so first I would like to get to know them a bit better before drawing them ( which is why I only did Vivec because I already know a bit about them ).
Also I was feeling kinda unwell today so I drew Rasha as usual to feel a bit better. I like the idea of Nerevar's ghost just hanging out with her ( probably not very accurate with the story but whatever, it's a fun concept for me ) and I like to imagine that she started to enjoy the company after a while :3 ( I guess Nerevar could almost be like a parental figure for her at this point, I'm still figuring things out ).
I know they’re only headshots, but that’s all the motivation I had for drawing 7 elders lol. Since it is my first time drawing them, if I draw them later, my design for them might change. I like having detailed art and characters, and well, they aren’t that detailed in the game. At least in my opinion. My favorite elder(s) has to be the twins. They are the youngest and seem to be the most active, so I think it would be pretty fun to hang out with them.
The family is dysfunctional at best, but the one thing they will always agree on is how protective they are of their youngest sibling.
As a baby/toddler, the child once got very sick, meaning the family worriedly hovered and did everything they could to help the child get better. They argued over the care, too, but ultimately they became just a little bit closer.
Years later, even in adulthood and after years of arguments, they do exactly the same thing.
As an adult, the youngest child has been distanced from the family/their siblings as arguments split the family completely.
Yet when they fall dangerously Ill/badly Injured, all it takes is one call from the caretaker/hospital to have the family breaking several speed limits just to be with them.
Bucky being really involved with the youth at his synagogue. The kids always seem drawn to him and he finds himself roped into helping out with youth activities, but soon finds it’s something he enjoys. Teaching them to make challah the way his mother taught him. Helping the kids with their Hebrew studies. He’s a valuable resource of Jewish history. Sometimes he’ll talk to the teens about the war because they’re older and understand, but none of them ever press him to talk about his experiences. What the kids seem to be mainly interested in is how Jewish life has changed for kids since Bucky was a kid. They want to know how their shul compares to his, what games he played, and hear the stories he can pass on about living in a Jewish immigrant community. He often finds the kids ask the questions but the grown ups in the room are listening just as intently.
mouse(@everybodyknows-everybodydies)'s writing on shalidor's much-overlooked ex-wife (and the mind behind half of his famed projects and discoveries) has captivated me utterly. nothing cooler than an old-timey woman whose contributions to her field were subsumed by her ex-husband and whose memory now exists only in buried glimpses and guesses, a series of scraps to be pieced fruitlessly together. my beloved
