Hsr age headcanons except I also explain my reasonings bc I read everyones lore to get it more accurate.

(Also, a few things to note that will be relevant to my explainations: Some of these I'm not 100% certain of the age groups I put them in here, so some might not be as specific. Blade will be considered his age prior to being mara-struck for the sake of this post. Imbibitor Lunae is a stand in for Dan Feng.)

Let's begin, shall we?

Child (6-12)

Hook: I believe she's around 7-8. She's very obviously a kid, but I don't think she's like, a toddler or anything. She's smart enought to pull the clever little tricks she does, and has enough awareness to understand some harder topics (like Fersman's declining health and the reality of her birth parent's deaths).

Clara: I originally figured she was around 14 or so, but since one of her stories claim she's of similar age to Hook, and one of Hook's stories has her note Clara is a few years older than her, I think I'd put her around 11-12. Maaaaaybe 10, but that feels a bit too young for her.

Early to mid teens (13-17)

Arlan: Probably around 17 or so. We know he's younger than Asta, who met him when he was a kid and offered him a job for her family, and she also mentions that she took him in during her companion mission. Herta also says in her voice line about him that he's probably one of the "exceptionally gifted" kids Asta gave money to.

Lynx: She's much younger than Gepard and Serval, obviously, but she's also probably around the same age as Pela (who is confirmed to be 16) given how close they are and how they interact. Her companion mission also largely revolves around her trying to escape her older siblings protectiveness, which I feel is relatable to a lot of teens lol.

Late teen (18-19)

Silver Wolf: Tbh I don't have any solid justification for this, mostly just vibes. She's definitely younger than Kafka, but other than that I don't really have much to go off of. Probably 19, but I could see her maybe being early 20s too.

Guinaifen: I'm not completely sure about this one tbh. She's definitely a teenager, she says she's close to but not yet an adult to Bailu after we chase her and the Heliobus possessing her. She's also very close friends with Sushang, (who is confirmed to be around 16-17) so it makes sense for Gui to be a similar age too. The thing that's tripping me up is that one of her stories says she spent all her teenage years on the planet she lived on prior to coming to the Luofu, which would make her 19 at minimum. It could also just be exaggerating, or not counting 18 & 19 as teen years (that one seems unlikely though).

Young adult (20+)

Trailblazer: Well, obviously, Trailblazer is actually like a few months old at most seeing as we start the game by being "born" but, ya know. They're treated as an adult by everyone around them, not to mention they're clearly meant to be around the same age as March and Dan Heng, who are also depicted as adults (Dan Heng has been seen drinking in official art, for example). I think maybe like, around 20-22 would fit.

March: There's what I mentioned previously of course (being close in age to Trailblazer and Dan Heng), but the whole "girls like me/my age all like this and this" thing is a very typical mindset of late teens & very young adults. The way she talks about taking pictures of food in one of her stories also sound very much like how a young adult would explain it lolol. Like Trailblazer, probably around 20-22. Tbh I'm not sure how to explain my reasoning when basing it off of her behaviour without it sounding like I'm saying all girls her age do this, I'm not 😅 but it is common enough I feel like it adds to her feeling that age, ya know?

Asta: As mentioned with Arlan, we know she's notably older than him. I would say her position on the space station means she has a decent amount of life experience for her to do it so well, but this is Hoyoverse and anyone can do anything regardless of age, so that doesn't really work lol. That said, she clearly has had the position for a long time, so even if she wasn't an adult when she started, she definitely should be now. Probably around 23-24.

Bronya: She's been in the Silvermane Guards for long enough to be well-known and trusted for her skills, and with how easily she took up the position of Supreme Guardian, she has a lot of public faith and trust as well. She needs to have been serving for a good amount of years, to get all that. That said, I do think she started young, so I'd put her at around early-to-mid 20s. probably around 23-24 like Asta.

Seele: Canonicly around the same age as Bronya, so probably about 23-24 again.

Luka: Not much concrete to go off of, but he's probably around the same age as Seele given their interactions. He's also obviously an adult, or Hook would've dropped the 'honourary' part and just make him a proper Mole lolol. Around 23-24 again.

Topaz: In her voice line about Bronya she says they're around the same age. March also notes that she's pretty young for an executive, and her character stories explain that she started working for the IPC at a VERY young age. Probably around 23-24 yet again.

Adult (30+)

Sampo: He's a notorious scammer who's being doing his work in Belobog for a long enough time to become notorious, so him being in his 30s seems likely. I don't have any other reasoning besides that, really. probably around mid 30s, like 35-36 or something.

Himeko: She had already finished college when she found the express, so she was already an adult then. It's been many years since then, so she's definitely not some young 20-something year old lolol. probably mid-to-late 30s, like 37-38 or the like.

Gepard: Mid-to-late 30s. He's younger than Serval, so he's below 40 (not that I really thought he was middle-aged anyway) and he's probably older than Bronya, as in one of her stories he comforts her after the first death to happen under her leadership, clearly having already gotten used to it. Also, apparently he has a bachelor's degree? (According to the fandom wiki's trivia section). Anyway. Around 37-38 probably.

Luocha: I couldn't really find anything that indicates anything in particular, so I'm just gonna say he's mid 30s based off of vibes alone. Like 35-36 or something.

Kafka: Her age is only ever stated as "unknown" and, like Luocha, I couldn't find anything that indicates anything in particular. So I'm just gonna say she's mid-to-late 30s like Himeko and call it a day. 37-38.

Argenti: His character stories show a variety of different scenes throughout his journey as a Kmight of Beauty, so he has experienced a great deal. Mid 30s, probably. Like 35-36. I don't have much else to go off of.

Middle aged and beyond (40+)

Herta: We know she's like, really old. Like really really old. I don't know exactly HOW old, but old. I think she's still within a human lifespan though, so maybe like 70-80 or something. Physically speaking though, she herself states that her current puppet body looks "70% like I did as a child" so. Yeah. Baby grandma.

Natasha: She raised Seele and was the main caretaker at the orphanage she grew up in, so she ain't exactly young (despite what hyvs aversion to portraying older people properly will tell you). Probably late 40s to early 50s. 49-50 maybe.

Serval: Canonicaly the same age as Cocolia, who raised Bronya for most of her life. Bronya also recognizes Serval as Cocolia's old friend from when she was a child. Mid-to-late 40 probably. 45-46 maybe.

Blade: Yingxing is refered to as 'middle-aged' in-game at around the time it all went down, and he's shown with visible aging and with grayed hair (that is, assuming Blade's current black hair is his natural haircolor?). Probably late 40s, like 48-49 or something.

Canon age

Pela: 16, as stated by Lynx in her & Lynx's companion mission. People have pointed out that this is a plot hole due to other information we have about Pela, but 1) the only thing that goes against this is the claim she was a founding member of Serval's band, which I can 100% believe is either a mistranslation or a case of a writer not cross-referencing properly. (also, I don't remember where this is ever claimed in-game, so if anyone can point me to it I'd appreciate it.) And 2) her being a teen makes more sense with how she's written, imo, so I don't really care if it's actually a plot hole.

Sushang: One of her stories says she's "around 16 to 17 years old". Obviously, this isn't her REAL age since she's a Xianzhou native, but it is the age she is equivalent to for a short-life species.

Welt: 80+. He arrived in the hsr universe at the time of APHO, which takes place in 2025. Since Welt was born in 1947, this would make him 78. While we don't know exactly how long he's been here, he seems to have been here a quite a while, so, 80+ it is.

Long-life species

(equivalent to) Child (6-12)

Bailu: She's been described as a child many, many times, including by herself (multiple times). Although she's probably older than she looks, as both she and several others remark that she has trouble growing bigger for some unknown reason. I'd say maybe around 10-11.

(equivalent to) Early to mid teen (13-17)

Qingque: She reads to me like a 14 year old being forced to take up a summer job by her parents because 'you need to get experience so you can get a job easier when you're older!'. Actually I think that's literally what's going on except summer jobs don't exist on the Luofu so now she has a full-time job at 14 years old. Yeah I don't actually have anything else to go off of other than the level of control her parents have over her life.

Yanqing: His character stories say he is 1) not yet of age (so below 18) and 2) a teenager. Very simple. Not sure why people are arguing about his age so much when it literally says right there in the game that he is a teenage boy. Probably 15.

Huohuo: Honestly not much to go off of. Probably around 14, based solely on vibes.

(equivalent to) Young adult (20+)

Dan Heng: Depicted as a young adult of similar age to Trailblazer and March, as mentioned previously. Pretty simple. That said, I do want to note that one of Blade's stories describe him as a teen. But, based on the way it's written, this seems to be Blade's first encounter with him, so it's probably not accurate to Dan Heng's current age.

Tingyun: Her stories describe her as pretty young, but the way she carried herself and the sort of businesses she did makes me think she was at least 20. Like 20-21 probably.

Fu Xuan: Once again, not much concrete to go off of. Her stories give me the impression she joined the divination comission rather young, and I think she's been the master diviner for quite a while now. Maybe early 20s, like 22-23 or something.

(equivalent to) Adult (30+)

Dan Feng: We don't really know how old Dan Feng was when everything went down other than that he was older than Dan Heng is currently. I'd put him in mid 30s, solely on vibes. I mean, he got engaged and quite literally made a child, so I'd say 30 fits. Ignoring the fact neither of those things have much to do with his age at all. 34-35 maybe.

Hanya: Honestly I have no clue and her stories just confused me. She has the vibes of a 30-something year old so I put her here. My view on her age will probably change once Xueyi is out if only bc I might be able to figure Xueyi's age out better and Hanya would then be somewhere under that.

(equivalent to) Middle aged and beyond (40+)

Jing Yuan: Listen. He's seen shit. He has lived a long ass time. And it's canon he basically raised Yanqing, he's a dad ya'll. probably early-to-mid 40s, like 44-45 maybe. I don't know.

Yukong: She's old. Like actually old. Technically much younger than Jing Yuan, but since foxians lifespans are shorter than other long-life species, she's equivalent to a lot older than he is. She's 249 and foxians live up to 300. She's OLD. I'd say she's like 70 or something.

Jingliu: Also old. She's like, 2000 years old or something, she's a grandma. Probably equivalent to up to 80-something. Except she looks 30 bc Mara. And also long-life species don't actually age past a certain point, so she physically is not capable of looking above 30.

Oooh! Chronic depression Tav sounds right up your alley! I'm also chronically depressed and I have a similar living condition (messy room, not the horrific torture) to Astarion. Maybe a Tav who can empathize with his messy tent and his depression?

Oh yes, this hits my alley! I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and depression a while ago plus it seems like I had a severe depression when I was 12-19 years old (but I wasn't taken to any specialists back then).

TW: Anxiety and depression come in different forms, my therapists always told me that I have a weird skill to look absolutely normal meanwhile tests show signs of severe depression. I've based this headcanon on my own experience.

Something was utterly wrong with you for the last few years.

You barely eat, sleep too much

Decision-making is difficult as fuck, and you just do what you are told to.

The time is slipping through your fingers and you sometimes realize it's already winter when it was summer a day ago.

You feel like drowning in the dark void.

Maybe you should just end everything? Because life will never get better.

The tadpole suppresses your condition.

You suddenly feel good. You feel strong. You feel alive.

And the Emperor is particularly adamant that you embrace the tadpole potential.ccepting the tadpole potential.

"Remember how bad you felt before? It will get worse if you deny the tadpole. Once it's gone, your mind will drown in darkness again. But accept my offer, and you will never suffer again."

You recognize familiar patterns in Astarion's behavior.

His inability to make decisions.

The mess he made of his tent.

The way he sometimes sits and stares in the distance not moving at all.

That he doesn't really read, staring at the papers with mindless eyes.

Or quickly turning pages without understanding what is written there.

Or an extreme degree of anhedonia. He cannot taste wine or food, his senses are dulled, and nothing brings him joy except blood and sex (both of which have been unavailable to him for centuries).

You want to accept the tadpole. You don't want to go back to where you were. He doesn't want to either.

But when you take the astral tadpole, Astarion knocks it out of your hands and smashes it.

"You're in no condition to make decisions like that, dear," he says, grabbing your arm.

Neither is he.

You fear to have the tadpole removed.

When it is gone, it's worse than you expected.

You can't move. Can't think. The void is killing you.

You don't want to talk to anyone. You can't do anything. The only thing you are capable of is to crawl into the inn and lie there like in a coffin.

It will never get better.

Maybe, you should just off yourself?

And Astarion's absence only proves your thoughts. He isn't there, he's left. He doesn't need a burden like you.

The relapse is so bad you decide to find a way to end things.

You choose a lonely place and takes a dagger out.

You greet death like an old friend.

Only to wake up under a starry night sky.

With a familiar skeleton-like figure close to you.

Withers brought you back. But why? And how did he…

Before you manage to say anything coherent, you feel strong hands around your waist and a familiar scent.

Astarion cries holding you.

"I shouldn't have left you, I shouldn't have... I am so sorry..."

He was ashamed of himself. Of his own relapse.

But he could never thought you would kill yourself.

These six monthes were difficult for him.

Yes, he was free. He could do whatever he wanted.

But he was lonely. He had nightmares. Breakdowns.

He started looking for you only to realize you were dead.

Finding Withers was his only hope.

And you are back. Back to him.

Astarion takes you away from Baldur's Gate to the places you've never been before.

Basically making you run faster than your darkness.

Together you learn how to enjoy things.

You basically ask each other "What can we do rn to make ourselves feel better?"

A swim in the lake? A bath in the inn? A new piece of garment? Just staying together in the tent?

You hold each other from slipping into the void.

Eventually, you are advised to start taking some medicine made by clerics.

You take it once a day and you feel better, almost the same way you felt with the tadpole.

You take the double shot because Astairon drinks your blood to get this medicine for himself.

You both don't feel yourself that miserable anymore. You both cry less.

You sleep better, Astarion doesn't have nightmares.

You are good. Both of you.

It doesn't mean the darkness won't come back - but you are both ready to meet it.

• I feel like Trey knows how to deal with a S/O that behaves in such a way

• He has siblings and in a way that’s how they act. That means he, in a way, knows how to handle the situation, but that doesn’t mean he’s not surprised when they act like that the first time.

• He remembers that clearly, they were teasing, joking and laughing on their way to an event but how much they quieted down once there almost shocked him.

• Almost because his sibling mode kicked in. He didn’t even realise until he’d taken most of the attention off them actually

• He didn’t ask what exactly happened with them at the event but when they left and were sitting back at home he did.

• He felt happy when they were back to their usual self although the teasing did make him grin sheepishly.

• He felt even happier when he learned the true nature of that shift; the fact they felt so safe with him that they could be themselves. The teasing sure did always catch him slightly off guard though

• Expect your favourite treat the next day with a sweet note and perhaps a few extra bits of affect here and there throughout the day

Azul Ashengrotto

• On the outside you wouldn’t think Azul was all that affected by his S/O’s behaviour

• Oh how wrong you’d be because he was very much affected!!

• Not that he chose to show it mind you, but their behaviour sure threw his poor heart through a predator-filled tsunami

• Regardless of that his acting barely faltered at the event itself though he did shoot them quite a few more glances than usual, as he was actually worried they were not feeling well.

• He actually asked about half an hour to an hour into the event if they were alright due to their suddenly much cooler nature.

• They were handling tasks with others rather well but still he was worried, so it put them at ease when they said everything was alright.

• He told them to speak up should they be uncomfortable or not feeling well regardless though.

• Like Trey he also only asked once having left the event and in the privacy of his office.

• To say his heard sputtered and his cheeks grew red for long enough to be caught like that would be divulging secrets, but here we are anyway.

• He did catch himself but he now knew they felt safe with him, safe by his side.. and perhaps he’d recognise soon he feels the same way about you.

.Though he lacks the common sense to know when to stop declaring his love or be able to take a hint that you are not interested.

.Oblivious to that in general he also knows he can worm his way into your heart and then you will be his for sure.

.He can be seen as a childlike yandere in the sense he goes to extremes.

.Such as declaring his love for you and trying to marry you.

.To also being very simple that he loves you and you will love him so why should you both wait?

.It is a simple way like a child has.

.He would also risk his life to protect you and defend you, no matter what!

.Luffy would hate one thing about you, that if your love was weak.

.Saying that you and he could not be together.

.That it was impossible.

.He loves you with all his heart and will make you love him just as much to take that risk and be brave enough to accept your love for him.

.He is the type of yandere to be determined and not give up if you say no.

.He will show you that you two are meant to be.

.He does not care how long it will take he will make you his treasure no matter what!

.He would deal with rivals by beating them just saying that you are his treasure or his majesty and that no one else can have you.

.He would confess to you almost instantly and beg you to join his pirate crew.

.If you say no, he will not give up either persuading you or kidnapping you or both!

.He is also very good likely so no matter how much you say no or how much you fight his love.

.He will not give up or falter and he will make you his majesty of the pirates!

.No matter what you are his treasure!

Homicidal Liu

Liu is pretty open-minded person, like he is just glad you got somethig you are interested in!! Haunted dolls? Oh okay, he didnt expected that..isnt it a bit creepy? But even if he has no idea what is going on then he would love to hear you talk to him about your special interest!! Like come on!! He wants to hear everything, do they have names? Can you talk with them? ..Why are they haunted in the first place..? Introduce them to him!! Your eyes lit up in pretty way so he wants you to keep talking (plus he is obv interested!!). Liu isnt really scared, just a bit distant at first. Give him some time, and he will even take care of them if you couldnt be with them!

About your fashion sense, you are absolutely mesmerezing to him! Boy could stare at you for hours but that would propably be too creepy. Even if his fashion sense is pretty basic, Liu would totally let you dress him up!! He won't match your fashion sense at daily basis, but enjoys you making him look all pretty and he just loves spending more time with you! That way he can actually feel why you like to wear what you wear! Absolutely adores how well aesthetically you match to your interests.

Jane the Killer

Oh i feel like she would actually be into all this creepy, unsettling stuff! Horror movies, urban legends and of course haunted dolls! You are perfect match tbh. Jane is obviously curious about your collection, its impressive and she just love hearing you talking!! Like she would literally look at you with this sweet and caring gaze, maybe even holding you on her lap and caress your hair as you just spare informations with her! Treats your dolls with respect, and likes to keep them clean and safe (but if you dont feel comfy with letting other people touching you collections then she is more than fine too!), she is anything but scared!

I just love, love the idea of Jane being goth. Maybe a victorian one or romantic? Please it fits her soooo well! Yeah but thats just me saying silly things. So with your gothic lolita fashion, you match pretty well! You both will look amazing and you are this great looking couple whenewer you show up anywhere 😭 Would also like to try your style just for fun and do the same for you!!

Ticci Toby

Toby is scared and interested all at once!! Loves hearing you talking but would be scared to sleep at night.. better not leave him alone with them. He propably starts to remember all horror movies about haunted dolls and is scared for his life that they would kill him.. Just reassure him that its nothing like that and as the time pass by he will have more friendy attitude. But even tho he is scared, then he doesnt mind your passion at all! MCL's Headcanons requests OPEN !

Hiii ! MCL is coming to an end (and MCL New Gen is coming, isn't that exciting ?) so in the name of the good old days I wanted to go and write some headcanons about our dear LI (also because I need to do something else rather than writing essays for uni but that's a whooole other story). I remember enjoying writing about MCL back in the days (I even wrote a fic that's how much I enjoyed it I guess) so why not do it again with another format ! Feel free to send me your requests and I'll do my best to answer it !

Little disclaimer before tho :

I won't write about topics such as abuse, self-harm,etc... (the world is already negative enough, we don't do that here guys). Nothing against a little angst ofc but let's keep it entertaining as the goal is not to make anyone feel down after reading these headcanons. This is a safe space so let's keep it that way ;)

The more specific the better ! That way there's no misunderstanding and your request will be properly completed (no harm in being a little vague but hence the result might be too) + specify about which opus you're referring to (High School, Uni, Love Life, etc...)

I will write trying to stick to the characters as they are in the game but you know, I do have my own opinions and perceptions of them so I hope you don't mind if I allow myself to let it slip here and there.

NSFW's okay (no shame in spicing things up, right ?) but it'll resonate with the first point : I won't write about abusive scenarios or anything as such so as long as you're not requesting about things like that, everything's fine ! However I'd rather if it doesn't become the main content of this blog so please keep that in mind.

Ok it’s been about 2 weeks since the new cast names have gotten revealed and like 3 since we’ve first seen them, I’ve had time to fully process the new designs I think I can give in depth thoughts now.

First these guys!

Priya - um I don’t have much to say about her, she gives off super preppy but very nice, giving Courtney I think. I like her she seems nice

Millie - Yeah she’s just giving nice and polite and mom friend, but she’s absolutely one of my favorites I think idk she’s just nice.

Ripper - Okay he had to grow on me a lot but I love him now! I think the Nowen headcanons/art converted me on him and I don’t even ship lmao. But yeah he’s a bitch I’m calling it now. Maybe not main antagonist worthy but like he’s evil. But also lovely and a joy to have around. Also he’d probably be a challenge beast I think. Idk he’s just vibes I guess.

Damien - Honestly if anyone’s trans it’s him. Definitely. He just exudes transmasc. This entire row is very gender but like out of this whole cast it’s probably him. Also, he’s SO COOL I am in love with his design he also just exudes good vibes I love him. I think he should win I want him to win or at least make top 3.

Axel - YES. She is going to be a favorite I hope another one of the coolest people here. Love characters who could beat my ass. Personality wise I’m think she’s like Brick Courtney and Eva with slight Jo and Duncan idk she just gives all of them. She will slay I can sense it.

Chase - Normal (derogatory) idk he’s just there. But he seems nice ig.

Zee - they’re so non-binary. Anyways they’re very funky and sweet and so shapes and they give major sweetheart goofball I love them. they just enjoy.

Scary Girl - I don’t know why she doesn’t have an actual name especially when all the fan names are so amazing, I personally prefer Charley or Hayley (I don’t remember who came up with those but you’re the best). Um design wise she’s kind of the actual best I think like it’s just so vibes. Personality wise I literally don’t know actually and I think I like that. That just means she could be anything I love a good wildcard. Yeah she’s another fave.

Caleb - He’s giving Ryan I think but like take out everything that made me like him. I don’t know he’s just so.. boring. I think I’d boot him first he’s just frustrating and I don’t trust him at all.

Nichelle - Ok I’m gonna be honest when the names got revealed I did not care for her AT ALL I thought she was just so basic. But like I’m here now hi sorry I’m late. She’s so girl, girla, girlie, girlie pop, bestie. Her designs also grown on me as well, i love the beads and the yoga pants. She just seems so chill and normal (affectionate). But ALSO I’m kinda getting scared she might be first boot here’s why. Ok so we all know she and Caleb weren’t in that like team huddle thing but like. Has anyone else noticed she hasn’t been in any of the promo screenshots in the flyer. That’s so weird to me. I hope I’m going insane especially since she’s the only one facing right (although that could be another clue). But um anyways yeah she’s great. She’s just so slay. I love her.

Julia - This girl is gay. Anyways she also had to grow on me cuz she was so basic but like I’m also here for her now. You are all right she’s absolutely a stoner. Also like I kinda get an athlete vibe from her? Like she’s a twig but like if it got revealed she does or did track or something I wouldn’t be surprised. She’s great I think.

Bowie - I’m sorry I love a good twink. Idk what’s going on with the color scheme/design but like it’s very funky it suits him. The necklace and bracelets are cool, he’s cool, I like him a lot hoping he goes far.

Wayne - I’m not gonna lie, I think he’s one of my favorites now. Another case where the art converted me but like he’s just adorable. But also idk if this is my mha obsessed brain talking but YALL. HES LITERALLY OJIRO, HEAR ME OUT HERE They are both: Blonde, both do sports, probably both polite himbos, he gives off nervous vibes just like Ojiro, both (somewhat) big guys, AND THEY HAVE VERY SIMILAR, IF NOT THE SAME FUCKING COLOR SCHEME. I CANNOT BE THE ONLY ONE SEEING THIS. AM I DELUSIONAL PROBABLY BUT I DO NOT THINK SO. I get he’s probably supposed to be a Wayne Gretzky parody but like come on. I see the vision. Anyways tangent over I love him he just seems so sweet. Also he’s so gay you guys. He’s great. I love him.

Raj - um I don’t have much to say but he also seems very sweet and adorable. I also think out of him and Wayne he’d be the more chill and reasonable one. I’m rooting for him.

Emma - ok she used to be my first boot but I don’t hate her anymore. Wow holy shit y’all’s art converted me on 5 people props to the total drama fandom y’all did great. Um I don’t really know what to say about her but like I hope everyone who’s predicting she’s a sweetie pie is right. Um well see about her I’m interested now.

MK - ICON! I love them so much and I also think they are enby. They are also a super sweet silly goofball I think. Literally I want them to win so bad they are my absolute favorite. But seriously why are they yellow. If they’re supposed to be Asian then surely Fresh should know it’s a problem. Especially considering they didn’t do it with Heather when TDI first came out. So bad. But anyways yes they are amazing literally my favorite they need to win.

so uh yeah. I definitely like them all a lot more than I did when the designs first got revealed. I think my absolute favorites are MK, Damien, Axel, Wayne, Nichelle, Julia, Ripper, Zee, Wayne, and Millie. Although I don’t get why these were their names when I’ve seen so many better ones (I’ve seen Tristan and Hayden for Ripper and Wayne respectively and like yeah I like those a hell of a lot better.) But um yeah I’m excited for the season I don’t think it’ll be a dumpster fire, especially considering Ridonculous was good. I’m excited.

Btw do you have headcanons for what kind of poetry Lupin would enjoy? I know there’s that one poem about the willow tree he recited in the Confessions of Arsene Lupin, but I’m curious about other people’s thoughts :D (I also failed to track down the author who wrote that poem?) Do you think he’d read William IX or Marie de France? I’m a literature major myself and I got take a little peek at medieval French poetry in my courses

Interesting question! I am unfortunately not much of a poetry person, so I'm probably not the best to ask what Lupin's taste in that area would be ^^'

Although that doesn't mean I have nothing to say on the matter hehe. First of, the willow tree poem is an excerpt from Lucie, élégie by Alfred de Musset. The whole poem is quite long, and it begins and ends with the stanza about the willow tree.

"Mes chers amis, quand je mourrai,

Plantez un saule au cimetière.

J’aime son feuillage éploré ;

La pâleur m’en est douce et chère,

Et son ombre sera légère

À la terre où je dormirai."

"Friends beloved, when I die,

Plant a willow over me,

Through its leaves the night will sigh,

Kindly will its shadow be,

And its drooping boughs shall weep,

O'er the earth wherein I sleep."

(not quite accurate as far as translation go I'd say, but that's the first official translation I found online, and translating poetry is SO HARD anyway, so I'm leaving it as is)

Secondly, there are literary references, quotes, nods, etc, everywhere within Lupin stories, whether from Lupin himself or from the narration (found this really neat article about intertextuality by Leblanc in Lupin, which lists most of what we can find and goes into a bit more details than I did here→) Looking at it from a watsonian perspective, this is simply Maurice Leblanc's way to reconcile more "classic" literature with the more "common" style of Lupin: by making his character quote Musset, Shakespeare, Chateaubriand, Milton or Pline, Leblanc elevates Lupin to a learned scholar, and signals that he, as an author, is also a reader of that kind of literature. From a Sherlockian perspective, it just makes sense that Lupin be well learned in everything: he is a man of culture, that's precisely what sets him apart from regular thieves. Going by what we can find in the text, he seems to favour XIXe authors and old classics, which is not very surprising, since, remember, this is mostly a reflection of Leblanc's own library. So I fear french medieval poetry might a bit out there in that context, but as far as headcanons go, I really see no reason why he wouldn't have something by Marie de France on his shelves! The man's eclectic 😌

Somewhat related, there's also Gérard Baupré the unfortunate aspiring poet from 813, who Lupin treats rather condescendingly, disparagingly even. Now of course Baupré is nothing remarkable, and Lupin is only using him as a pawn, which explains this attitude (+ Baupré dares fall in love with the same woman as Lupin, and even *gasp* pursue her!). But it's interesting with how Lupin adresses him, always calling him "poet", making a mockery of it: further proof imo that Lupin is very much presented to us as a literary connaisseur, and in this case specifically poetry, thus making him able to judge whatever Baupré's scribbling, and evidently he doesn't think much of it.

And there you go, hope this was somewhat what you were looking for :D honestly I think headcanoning Lupin as a reader of pretty much anything really, is fair game. I like how french/European his references are (because, again, so are Leblanc's), but I'd be interested in him reading outside of European literary canon as well!

Just random headcanons I have of how the Pro Heroes would be if they kinda got very very drunk. Yes I had so much fun writing this, yes I love all of them

When drunk, Toshinori tries show off. You had to hit him a couple of times when he almost revealed his identity to strangers, not to mention the time when he refused to turn back from his All Might form for a good 30 minutes. He isn't a big drinker, but once he was really drunk and looked at you serious in the eyes, before "revealing" you his true identity. Of course, you had to swear to a very drunk Toshi that you wouldn't tell anybody.

Ok, listen. I love Aizawa with every fibre of my body, but you can't look at him and deny he gets rude af when drunk. Like, he just looks like someone who gets drunk, insults everyone and goes to bed. He knows it goes like that every single time, so he avoids getting too drunk if he isn't with people he deeply trusts, as he would never insult a stranger (or even worst, a student) by mistake.

When drunk, Hizashi just laughs. At everything. You look at him, he laughs. Somebody says hi, he laughs. Don't even get me started if somebody tells him a joke or if a passerby trips and falls, this man will laugh his ass of the chair he's sitting in until the alcohol wears off. You just hope he doesn't activate is quirk by mistake.

Drunk Enji is sooo competitive. This mf (affectionate) will challenge you to board games, videogames, races, everything as long as he's challenging you at something. And he'll cheat, from stealing your monopoly money and making up new rules to using his quirk to run faster. He won't remember anything once morning rises, asking you to tell him exactly what happened.

Nobody has ever seen Best Jeanist get drunk??? I guess he just holds himself back on drinks, either that or he has a very high tolerance. He's the one who babysits his drunk friends and restrains them before they embarass themselves. You helped him a couple of times, but he's so used to it he doesn't really require any help. He'll prefer for you to enjoy your evening chatting with others, while he ensures everyone makes it back home

Keigo becomes so damn horny flirty when drunk. Like, doesn't matter who you are, if you happen to be anywhere near him you are going to get hit on. And oh, it can be so embarrassing. Sober Keigo is fluent in flirting, but he's easily overexcited when drunk and his idiot side comes out. Smooth compliments become plain out hilarious. He once told you he loved the way you smiled, then that you had nice teeth, then forgot what he was talking about, and asked the barman if he could recall it.

Am I adding No.13 again? Yes I am! I just love her so muchhhh <3 Anyway, when she starts to get tipsy her sense of balance stops existing. She just. Falls. If she gets drunk you might as well get her a chair and leave her there or pick her up if you can, cause she'll keep falling and falling, and she feels so sorry for that, you have no idea.

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE 12TH EPISODE OF TRIGUN STAMPEDE ✋🏻 so if you haven’t watched it you can skip this

How are you all feeling about the last episode (for now at least) of Trigun Stampede?? I, to be honest, ABSOLUTELY loved it. Everything was perfect, the animation was amazing and i am really pumped up about what it’s going to happen next. I can’t really come up with accurate theories of some sort because i haven’t watched the ‘98 version and neither did i read the manga (i also am fully aware about the fact that some details in the remake are much different from the manga and the other version) but i know bits and pieces so SOMEHOW i can think of a few things that could most likely happen. not that it matters anyways, you could still basically say that i am clueless about most things.

BUT ANYWAY. I would still like to talk about what happened in this episode and to share my honest opinion on things because why not.

First of all, a moment of appreciation for our beloved Vash for quite literally kicking Nai out of the portal/dimension or whatever that was. Pretty badass if i do say so myself.

Second of all, let's all thank Meryl for basically saving Vash <3. That was such a beautiful scene, him running towards Rem's voice and then suddenly changing to Meryl's yelling his name and boom, he's back.

Pretty irrelevant, but, as i said earlier, i haven’t read the manga but when Vash returned from that “trance” with his original hair (that, i know) and with his clothes all dark i suddenly remembered how i actually saw a post on here the other day (i think it was headcanons and how protective he would be of you) saying something among the lines “if someone were to hurt you he would turn into Dark Vash” (where the person writing the headcanon actually mentioned the fact that it is basically the same as Hatsuharu from Fruits Basket turning into Dark Haru which i found pretty amusing 🫶🏻😭) and it got me thinking if Dark Vash is a real thing in the manga 😭 I really need to at least watch the other version after exams because i am in desperate need of more information about not only this, but of Trigun in general.

Next, I ADORED the fighting scenes between Vash and Nai. I mean, yeah, it still kind of hurt to see them fighting like that because i knew that Vash usually means no harm, especially to his brother… but nonetheless i still pretty much enjoyed it. Sending much love to the animators because they DEVOURED, literally.

Another thing that i couldn’t help but find adorable was the fact that Nicholas somehow always managed to save Meryl, which i was 100% grateful for. We love a trustworthy boi.

Leaving these aside, (hoping that I hadn’t left out any important details) i just want to know if i am the only one thinking that maybe Nai is not actually dead?? 😭😭 I feel like he somehow is still somewhere, you know?? Just a thought. Aaaand, now that we’re talking about his death, i was IN FULL CRY watching this scene but not because i was pitying that man but because Vash was completely hurting out there and his screams hurt me so much (he deserves the whole world) 😭 Can’t help but think that he blames himself for his brother’ death although if you think about it, it was not his fault at all?? Like, Vash was desperately trying to convince Nai to move away because he could die but Nai was just too stubborn and powerstruck and while he was at it i don’t think he realized he the danger he put himself in, even though his face was kind of saying that he clearly knew what he got himself into (not that i mind that he’s dead tho….🫴🏻) 😭 I don’t know if this makes much sense but let’s continue.

Another thing is that i don’t think Vash and Nicholas are dead. The ending and that entire explosion caused by that cube, i think?? made people think that they both died, but LISTEN. You saw how Meryl was alive, right?? And at some point when Meryl almost fell off a building Nicholas caught her and i think they both remained where they were?? Or i think they ran off somewhere on a pretty tall building so i’m thinking maybe the explosion didn’t get to them because they were pretty far up 😭😭 i don’t really know for sure because i was teary eyed and everything was blurry lmaoooo. Anyways, my point is that, if Meryl appeared at the end then clearly they both survived, right? Like if they were to die we would’ve gotten a pretty dramatic and emotional scene but we got nothing which leads me to this conclusion.. Now that we got them ‘covered’, let’s talk about how i think Vash is alive as well, even though it is pretty obvious that he’s not dead given the fact that it is only the 12th episode and he’s the main character after all.. (not trying to say that main characters can’t die because i’ve seen it happen on multiple occasions but we’re not going to talk about that 😔) And, at the very end there was this guy named “Eriks” which i am 100% sure it’s Vash (the long hair and the fact that he was next to a piano gave it away) but only with a “code name” so that people don’t know who he is because Vash is known and hated for basically killing off all (or almost all) of JuLai so it’s understandable why he changed his identity 😭😭😭😭 poor guy.

Again, i hope there were no details that i left out because i really want to say how happy I am about the fact that we are getting MILLY FREAKING THOMPSONNNN 🫶🏻 I feel like she's such a nice person and i can't wait to see her in action in the second season. (irrelevant again but please don't tell me that i am the only one thinking that one of the two voices in the background after the outro was Milly 🤨 that woman's voice just gave off major Milly vibes, i don't know man...)

I think that was all for now folks, this was nice to write. I actually am never the one to write my opinions on stuff but this time i felt like sharing 😭

Oh, that's an interesting and tricky question, regarding what I would do if I were in the Physician's shoes... I would definitely want to be less secretive than her, that much I know; I would certainly try to be as upfront as I could from the start, and I would want people to be as well-informed as possible - not that it would be easy in certain situations, since many of her patients are delirious or actively dying without any time to think such a decision through. I would have too much of a bleeding heart to simply ignore the sick and go on with my day, even though the alternative isn't exactly ideal either...

Aw, thank you! Yes, I have always been interested in writing; even before I learned how to read and write at age four, apparently I sat in my bed telling stories to my stuffed animals according to my parents, so it seems as if I have always wanted to get some stories out.

I feel very happy that I'm this motivated regarding my story - I think the fact that it's an interactive novel helps me combating writer's block since there are much alternative text and different ways to go; it's harder to find myself stuck when there is more to do, hehe.

That's a tricky question in a sense, who I would romance, since I love all my character the same amount, but seeing this from an outside perspective, how I would have played the game if it wasn't mine and I didn't know what I know right now, thinking about the playstyle I would pick... I think I will have to say Aubrey, because I wouldn't be able to resist playing as an absolutely unhinged and ravenous character during my first playthrough, haha, just embracing each and every craving, and since Aubrey is and does just that, they would be quite compatible, my character and him... So chances are that his romance would come quite naturally to the sort of character I would amuse myself with!

If not, you can delete-- I'll understand. ;w; I won't comment on recent dash stuff but I just wanted to check in and see if you/the people involved were okay???? I know you care about Saiyans a lot. Like, a lot, a LOT-- maybe more than anyone I know or seen so far. (In case I sound like a creep, I swear I'm not!) I was here when you first had Google Docs and had a really cute section about relationships/shipping stuff with Bardock. (Was also here when you first set up your Sites page and had an even *cooler* section about the diversity of the Saiyans' gene pool, explaining why Maiz looked so different! Not to mention your cultural & biological headcanons as well but that's neither here or there). So, I just wanted to check in on you. 🥺 I also say this because of your recent Toriyama post (didn't know he said that about female Saiyans omg! Everything makes so much sense now, haha. I was confused for years man 😭 ). Point is, I see how much Saiyans mean to you overall and I think it's rad to see as a fellow female fan of the series! About Saiyans meaning a lot to me-- yeah. I wish I could remember the interview it was revealed in, but he was asked about it at some point to where he said something to the effect of "I didn't know how to design them/couldn't figure out their appearance", something like that. It stuck with me because like I've mentioned in my Toriyama post, many toxic (as in sexist/misogynistic fanboys and overall creepy ass people) tried to make DB a thing I wasn't allowed to participate in, all because I was born a girl which was and is-- bullshit. Women aren't a different fuckin' species, man. We like the same shit as men sometimes and that's alright. Trying to put me into a girly girl box is what made me into a rebellious ass tomboy (much like Videl who I somewhat related to, growing up). Only in my late teens/early adult years did I embrace my femininity (yes, I was vain and shallow like Bulma at times. I was also a bit too loose with money when I had some, so I understand her casual attitude regarding her wealth, but that's neither here or there). Point is there was and always have been room for female fans of the series, so when I heard that from the horse's mouth himself? Yeah, it was a wrap. That was it. Nobody could tell me SHIT. That's one thing about me: If I learn something is true and it makes my life easier, I will not listen to anything else. I'll do my own thing. I'm a bit stubborn like that but trust me, it's a good stubborn. Otherwise, I'm very open-minded about many things and I'm a good listener.

As I stated on more than one occasion, I started RPing in a chatroom of an anime-pirating website, while I watched DBZ Kai. After I finished the anime (and lost my original RP group of friends), I coped by scouring the Internet for more RP forums and platforms, of which eventually led me to Facebook. I ran into some mishaps here and there in the DBZ RP space but that aside, the highs were worth it and I stayed for a long while. I mostly specialized in Android/Cyborg OCs and Saiyan OCs. So yes, you are right by saying Maiz (as in RPC!Maiz's template) comes from my 2018 fanfiction but also predates it by SEVERAL YEARS because every female Saiyan I had from the age of 12 and up was essentially a prototype of who Maiz would become. Long story short, Maiz grew with me, even when her names before were: Rayearth (my og username on the chatroom/anime website), Beats, Serori, Celeri, and later Jinjā. Rayearth was able to go Super Saiyan and she was the angry-punchy type. She was closer to Vegeta in temperament and haughty as all hell. Beats was a bit more humble with a hint of cockiness. This was around the time I started playing around with morality and all that, so she was less of a Vegeta type but still rough around the edges. I think I implied she could go Super Saiyan but can't remember if it happened in any threads. Serori was much more humble and quiet-- introspective. However, she could be hostile if approached too quickly or suddenly. She was the first low-class Saiyan I ever made. Celeri was a jump off of that because someone had the same name as my OC so I changed her around*. She was extroverted, but not too much. I guess you could call her a quasi-Goku type, if Goku was Mid-Class and a woman. I changed the rank because I wanted to explore the classism aspect of the Saiyans and my OC's relationship between her and her inherent power. She was morally gray, if I remember correctly.

*A bit petty of me, I'm sure-- but I was immature and a moody teenager who only had her creativity to express herself with. Anything too similar to me back then felt like an attack on my personhood and individuality. Thankfully, I'm a mature adult who's grown past that trauma response from childhood.

Jinjā came in 2015. I was 16 going on 17, about to enter college. Stopped RPing some time before this, because well, I had to focus on school and life stuff. This is what she originally looked like:

She has no story, because she wasn't made with one in mind. I just missed having a female Saiyan to think/write about. She was truly random, a burst of inspiration that heavily looms over Maiz's current design. Jinjā has red, short, choppy hair because Seripa/Fasha was her base design. I wanted something different to make her stand out, or else she'd just look like a clone or twin. That's all. Fasha being the base is also where the earrings comes from, since she had them. (This was just before I started embracing cosmetics and accessories). While she didn't really have anything to her, the basic idea was to go back to my roots: a rough-and-tumble Saiyaness who can pack a mean punch and rock your shit even if it kills her-- even if she fails. Hence my attempt at blood and making her look badass/intimidating. Muscles and female anatomy was hard for me, still is slightly-- but I'm getting the hang of it. Anyhoo, I believe my intentions-- if I fleshed her out more-- would've been for her to be a Bardock-type. Fun fact: Battle of Gods came out a month before this redesign did, so I got some confused looks when asked if this was SSG (Red) and I said no. I wasn't a huge fan of the movie so I didn't really see it until later. Only clips and such on YouTube. I warmed up to it eventually.

While going back to college for the second time (2018-2019), I got into Super properly with the introduction of Broly in DB Super: Broly. I enjoyed the Future Trunks/Goku Black Saga but the narrative nightmare within the anime's climax (and the manga's middle part) was a tough pill for me to swallow. The movie though-- despite the minor grievances I have with it-- hit all the right spots: Saiyan lore! Saiyan culture! POLITICS!!! Space-Opera! Sci-fi!!!!!! Around this time, I was finally inspired to do something else for this fandom I've had a tumultuous relationship with-- write a fan fiction. Jinjā's redesign was imminent:

She got renamed in reference to her mom, who was now Seripa/Fasha's older sister as a nod to the latter being a design base. Karne comes the Japanese spelling of karnels (kaneru, if I have that correct) because she's frustratingly slow to anger like popcorn-- the pun she's based off of. (Fasha in other media, such as the games has always been described as the opposite: short tempered, fierce and feisty. She's staunchly loyal to her crew too, as implied in the movie and in those same games if you pay attention to her dialogue). With this, it only made sense to have the updated version of Jinjā follow the pun as:

To summarize: Maiz became Maiz in 2019, in the wake of DB Super: Broly. (It came out that year in the U.S). In the fanfic she originates from, she is the last female Saiyan, and that weighs on her all the time. Incidentally, Story!Maiz is much more sympathetic while remaining a frosty a--hole. Her trauma is much more apparent and while she's not exactly the nicest person in the Galaxy, it's much more clear to see why: she has attachment issues, which makes getting to know her difficult, she has trust issues, anger issues from surviving a bloody and rather violent/sudden genocide of her people at a young and tender age, she can't remember the last time she slept well, has frequent nightmares of being abandoned by her mother (she was the one who shoved her into an escape pod). She thinks there's no value to her life because she's been traveling through outer space with Turles for six years consecutively and there were several planets/galactic sectors who didn't even know what a Saiyan was. They were lucky to find remains. (Cut tails, boots, bones, dust/ashes, name tags, etc etc. The sights were very, very grisly. And she kept seeing the same things for six. Years. Straight). All of this turned her into a very bitter, negative person who became a straw nihilist. She kind of just wanted to pass away quietly in some corner somewhere, not because she felt remorse for being a Saiyan/the effects of her kin but because she had her entire life upended on a sadistic whim. There was nothing to live for in her eyes. She thought Turles was stupid for having hope after a while and became jaded. While she was stronger than Turles in terms of raw power, she had a issue with not wanting to preserve her ki for important situations. He constantly had to watch over her like a big brother and she absolutely resented him for it (misguided anger, anyone?). It didn't help that he remembered more of Saiyan life than she could. All in all, she was tragic and a bit too edgy probably, but she would grow out of her frosty shell with the introduction of Broly. She reluctantly bonded with him over time on their ship as Saiyan Squad (what I called them out of text) made their way to Earth to settle the score with Vegeta. Paragus didn't do anything for her but make her angry at first-- all this time she's convinced herself there were no more Saiyans and then she sees this old man still kicking somehow? Of course she'd be livid. (Paragus, over his short presence in her life until his death at Vegeta's hands proved to be effective; he became a makeshift father figure and imparted some words of wisdom of which she'd take to heart, post Broly fight. Turles was pretty devastated too and they would finally be the brother-sister duo he's always known they could have been. It's bittersweet and sad, tbh).

Anyway, that's the evolution process. As for why she looks like this in universe-- I'm gonna be honest and say I got it from Father of Goku. There were different looking Saiyans in there, two women have blue hair. Super Saiyan has green eyes and blonde hair. Who's to say there aren't natural green eyed Saiyans who existed? Or blondes? Dark hair can mean black and/or brown, so why not both? Same with dark eyes! Make them brown, hazel, chestnut, almost black or straight up black. Etc etc. (As a reminder, Fasha has purple eyes! PURPLE). If you look at official artworks/some colored manga covers and whatnot, Goku's actually tan. Hell, Future Trunks is basically apricot or a peachy skin tone. If you want a triple whammy??? Read the manga. No, seriously. There are OFFICIAL scans that has Trunks with red hair instead of the Super Saiyan blonde. And those are mistakes from Toriyama himself. Look at Z Broly and all his in between stages-- blue hair, greenish-yellow hair, etc. It's really not that hard to create a unique looking Saiyan, or justify it-- so I feel like the whole dark hair and dark eyes should be overlooked/not a big deal. I also just don't like how restrictive it is from a narrative/in universe standpoint. It's not fun to play with.

✂︎ honestly, the day was supposed to be just a casual date with shinichiro; going to the mall and doing some window shopping and maybe buying a few things, then going to the food court to get some food before riding to the riverside to watch the sunset. nothing really out there, but just spending time with him was enough for you, so you didn’t really need any sort of fancy date.

✂︎ at least, that was the original plan. you weren’t sure how you had ended up taking emma and mikey along with the two of you, but frankly, you didn’t really mind. there’s probably a lot of other people who would have some...thoughts, if their boyfriend’s little siblings tagged along on their date, but emma and mikey were always such sweethearts, (to you at least) so you actually thought it was a nice change of pace.

✂︎ hm, well, now that you think about it, the both of them coming wasn’t really supposed to happen in the first place. it was pretty nice weather out, so you and shinichiro had decided to walk to the mall instead of taking his bike. the both of you had figured it would be a nice change of pace and that the fresh air would do both of you some good, but you two were so wrapped up in your conversation with each other that you didn’t even notice the steps following you two. it wasn’t until you were almost at the mall that you and shinichiro had realized emma and mikey had tagged along.

“what were you thinking of buying, (y/n)?”

“hm, i’m not really too sure yet, maybe some-”

“i can’t believe that didn’t see us the entire walk!! we’re just that stealthy, emma!”

“what the hell-”

✂︎ and just like that, your date was crashed by the two little kids who had followed you on your way to the mall. according to emma, the only reason she was here was because she was trying to stop mikey, but by the time she finally was able to pull him back, she didn’t know how to get back home, so she just decided to follow you. according to mikey, he had followed you two because...well, just because he wanted to.

✂︎ mikey’s response earned him a punch on the head from shinichiro, who started yelling about how he can’t just crash his date, ‘just because he wants to’.

✂︎ it was obvious from his body language that shinichiro was feeling pretty exasperated from all this, and you can’t really blame him. i mean, who would expect for their little brother to purposefully follow him while he goes on a date?

“sorry about this (y/n), i should’ve noticed they were following us sooner. if you don’t mind, i can run them back real quick while you go look at some shops, how’s that?”

“...hm, actually, if it doesn’t bother you, how about we just take them with us? i don’t really mind that they came along; i really like emma and mikey, and if we take them with us, then you don’t have to go all the way back. is that alright with you?”

“are you sure, (y/n)? mikey can be a little troublemaker sometimes-”

“hey, shut up!! am not!!”

“yes you are!!”

“i’m sure it’s fine, now both of you stop yelling at each other, people are staring!!”

✂︎ gonna be honest here, the two of you looked like a family when you walked into the mall. mikey was sitting on shinichiro’s shoulders while shinichiro kept a firm grip on his legs, and emma was holding your much bigger hand in her smaller one, looking around a bit curiously.

✂︎ as you all walk around, looking at the different shops, there’s going to be a lot of commentary about literally everything from mikey. he’s going to be commentating on everything he sees, whether it’s clothing or a food stand that he wants to go try, his commentary will just be endless.

“do girls really wear that sort of thing??”

“woah, that looks super cool!”

“can we get the dorayaki that’s over there, (y/n)-nii?!”

✂︎ you’ll probably start to notice emma’s longing glances at some of the things that she sees in the windows. she won’t really say anything about it, but you can tell that it’s something she wants, so you’ll go into a couple of the stores with her, asking what it is that she wants. she’ll definitely be surprised at first, but she’ll get really excited that you’re willing to get stuff for her and will show you the things that she thinks are pretty. she’ll probably start talking about how she wants to be able to wear all of the cute stuff she saw in some of the other windows someday, so you just ruffle her hair and tell her that when the time comes, you’ll definitely buy it for her.

✂︎ your actions don’t go unnoticed by shinichiro, so he’ll just be waiting for you outside the store with mikey, looking at you with a small smile on his face. he doesn’t know why, but whenever he sees you getting along with her and mikey, it just warms his heart and reminds him of how much he loves you and how much he wants to be with you for the rest of his life.

“stop staring at (y/n)-nii, it’s weird.”

“wha- i wasn’t-!”

“yes you were! i saw you!!”

“be quiet mikey, i’m trying to have my moment!”

✂︎ ah, well, he actually does know why his heart skips a beat whenever he sees you smiling and getting along with emma and mikey, but he’ll save that for later.

✂︎ when you and emma walk out of the store, the giddy smile on her face makes shinichiro smile down at her before turning his gaze to you, who was looking at her with a giant grin on your face as well.

“let’s go look at some more places?”

“definitely!!”

✂︎ emma is a lot more vocal from that point onward, pointing out all the different things in the shops that she thinks would look best on you. she actually has a pretty good fashion sense, so you ended up buying some of the stuff that she suggested.

✂︎ she’ll even have you try on all the clothing that she picked out for you so that you can show shinichiro, (she whispers to you it’s so that he’s struck with love when he sees you). her plan definitely worked though; when you came out of the dressing room in the clothes she had picked out for you, shinichiro was wordless for a few moments, so captivated by you that he doesn’t even know what it is he should say. he’ll probably stutter out some words after a few moments, the broken sentence resembling that of a compliment, but you’re not quite sure since it’s all pretty broken up.

“wow, uh, you look, uh...wow, you’re very...wow…”

“shinichiro-nii, can’t you think of anything else?! i thought you were supposed to be their boyfriend!! you’re making my plan fail!!”

✂︎ mikey will probably be more interested in going to the food court, and will be asking every five minutes when you guys can be finished with window shopping so that he can eat because he’s absolutely starving, (it’s a lie, he just wants dorayaki).

✂︎ you’ll probably tell shinichiro that he should probably get some new clothing as well, with emma chiming in that his taste in clothes is kinda boring and that he should spice up his wardrobe, (he feels very wounded by this and puts a hand to his heart as if he’s been fatally shot). with that, the four of you will start to look for new clothes for shinichiro. it’s quite the serious mission, so the three of you will be closely examining him whenever he steps outside of the dressing rooms. it’s also like you three are judges at a fashion show, and if you could, you would all be holding up numbers that were rating his outfits, (the employees are fairly amused by all of this).

✂︎ after you all finally find some new clothes for shinichiro, you’ll be making your final stop at the food court, the place mikey has been pestering you about going to for the entire time you were there. he immediately dragged you all over to the dorayaki place, eagerly asking if he could get one. really though, how could you say no to those eyes?

✂︎ after getting everyone something to eat, you’ll all be sitting down, emma and mikey chomping down and their food, and you and shinichiro resting your feet after all the walking you had just done.

“remind me to never bring you to the mall on a date again.”

“what, you didn’t have fun?”

“no! no, that’s not it, i just...my wallet feels lighter than before…”

“you’re so dramatic sometimes, i swear.”

“but you love me.”

“...yes.”

✂︎ by the time you all are done with your food and are exiting the mall, it’s dark out, and emma and mikey are barely able to keep their eyes open, meaning that for the walk home, you were carrying emma on your back and shinichiro was carrying mikey. the walk back was rather peaceful, but what you enjoyed the most was the whispered conversation you were keeping up with your boyfriend, who was complaining about how mikey was drooling on his neck and he could feel it dripping down to his shoulder.

✂︎ after putting both the kids in their respective bedrooms and tucking them in, the two of you just crash on shinichiro’s bed, tired from all the events that had happened that day. you really had to admit though, it was times like these that you would always remember the most. the way he looked like when he was beside you, his eyes already closed as he rested his head on your arm. god, he looked so pretty…

“hmm, what do you think you’re doing?”

“just fixing the hair of my beautiful boyfriend, that’s all.”

“i see...carry on then.”

✂︎ neither of you bothered to change out of your clothes into pajamas, just deciding to leave them on and stay in each other’s embrace. in your opinion, there was truly no better way to end a day than to have shinichiro on your arms, his head fixed into the crook of your shoulder as he peppers kisses all over your neck and jaw.

This is the first person who can see me. Finally, I get to talk about everything and be seen! I feel my heart race and my palms become sweaty. I will never let them go! They are MINE! They were made for me!

hello! thank you so much for this ask, it was very interesting to write about the travelers - and i am so sorry it took so long!! i hope you enjoy~

Warnings: Yandere themes, unhealthy relationships

It is already quite impressive that you have managed to capture the fleeting interest of both Lumine and Aether. These siblings are Travelers at heart, those who prefer to relish the moment rather than chain themselves down to a feeling, a person.

But you are an exception. An unresolved mystery, perhaps an answer from this world? Whatever the case, they are your destiny. You must have been the hidden purpose for their travels all along.

After all of the trouble they went through to stabilize Teyvat, in their mind they more than deserve a little reward, a trophy of sorts - and you fit all of the criteria.

It’s not surprising that they’ve both grown fond of you - after all, they’ve been close for as long as they remember, always fighting over the same toys even as children.

Lumine is the one who is more ruthless, ready to draw a sword. She would not hurt Aether, but a fight to decide the winner who gets to claim the foils of the war seems appropriate. After all, if they both keep chasing you like lost puppies, they will just get in each other’s way.

Aether would be the one to suggest an alliance - they have always been stronger together, after all, so would it not make sense to join forces over a common goal?

And thus a scarily efficient yandere duo is born. Power, charm, wit multiplied, enough to rival the Archons themselves.

If you are quick to trust and somewhat susceptible to emotional manipulation, Aether will be the one to approach you. A harmless man with a heart of gold and the disposition of a puppy - he’ll find a way to worm into your heart, either by becoming your confidant or guilt-tripping you, or better yet through both means.

Whatever weighs on your heart, he’ll sort it for you! He’s been running commissions all day, and what kind of friend would he be if he didn’t help you out? Why are you flinching away from his touch? It would be difficult not to feel some sympathy or kindness, and even an ounce will only fuel Aether’s obsessive pursuit. It’s not just you that he’s manipulating - as of recent, even your closest friends and family seemed to have grown fond of him, to the point of pressuring you to return his feelings.

He’ll go to any lengths needed to push you into his arms. Lumine is the one who’ll likely work behind the scenes. The scary stalker that chased you down the street, flashing a silver blade at your throat? Perhaps Aether should walk you home from now on, to ensure you’re safe. You wouldn’t want anything like that happening again, correct? After all, next time you might not be as lucky...

Someone trashed your house and carved threats all over your wooden door? Perhaps it would be best if he stayed the night... Of course, it’s nothing suggestive! Just to ensure your safety.

If only you were a little more perceptive, you’d notice how Aether’s face shifts from a superficial concerned frown to deceit filled smirk as he catches something mere meters away from you, shuffling around in the shadows.

And just like that, if you give in to his manipulations, he’ll weave himself into all of your affairs. He’s always there at your lowest moments, caressing your hand and back to help with your sobs. He has the means to make everything right in your world - you just have to say the word. That’s not to say the threats to your life reduce - no, they are ever present, so don’t even think about casting him aside.

He is suffocating - always so close, breathing down your neck every living second, claws deep in every matter that concerns you. Like a parasite who feeds on your fear, who fuels it further to provide itself with sustenance. It clicks in your mind that your misfortunes started raining down the moment he entered your life, and you grow to despise his presence.

It’s Lumine who steps in then, and offers you some respite. In your eyes, she saves you from her brother’s obsessive ways. My brother, he can be annoying sometimes, she says, and you miss the mischievous glint in her eyes, always so clingy, always so whiny - but here, take her hand, she’ll take you on a little adventure. Isn’t it an honour to travel alongside Mondstadt’s fabled hero?

There is no reason for you not to trust her. She is the beckon of beauty and heroism, and just being in her presence is a privilege some would pay for. And perhaps it is not that wrong of you to long for freedom after Aether’s suffocating ways, to long for adventure and a breath of fresh air after living a life that pales in comparison to twins’.

And she is nothing like her brother - she is aloof, barely stealing glances at you, always focused on the task ahead. It’s a breath of fresh air, freedom that you so longed for, and you cannot help but feel grateful for her - unknowingly falling for another trap the siblings set up for you.

Lumine does not lure you in with sweet words and comforting gestures like her brother - instead, she lures you through the beauty of the outside world that would only unravel before a traveller. She knows so many people, all who beam upon her arrival and drag you in for festive dinners. She knows the fields overgrown with your favorite flowers, she knows Liyue’s most influential merchants who can tailor you any garment, any device; she knows all of the heroes and the villains, who unfold before you like a storybook.

But the moment you take her hand, it’s game over. She pulls you into a world of adventure, but that of violence as well, where your survival hinges on her. The time spent with her feels more like a demonstration of power, a demonstration of your weakness rather than the innocent getaway you assumed initially.

She tramples enemies before you mercilessly, and cruelly saves you just seconds before a hilichurl’s spear pierces your chest. She toys with your life as though it’s nothing but a game. After all, how could someone who has travelled so many words understand the petty worries of you, the person who has not stepped outside their home town?

You plead with her to let you go, but her eyes are unfeeling. She has been upset with you ever since you rejected Aether’s (and by extension, her) advances, so you be reminded of your place - which is right by their side.

“Do you understand now? We are strong, twins destined to save Teyvat and bring peace unto these lands. And you, you are weak. Our meeting was written in the stars long before we were born - do you truly believe you have the power and the right to oppose it?”

It doesn’t matter to which one you yield - Aether’s emotional exploitation and manipulation, or Lumine’s threats and harsh words. Even if it takes to kidnap you, they will.

And no one will be there to rescue you. After all, who would oppose Teyvat’s heroes? The Acting Grand Master and Knights of Favonius, who’d kiss the very ground the twins walk on? The citizens of Liyue, with their unwavering gratitude towards the heroes that saved the city from drowning? Or Inazuma’s clans who themselves enlisted twins’ help to restore their great country?

You are a sacrifice everyone is willing to make for the ‘greater good’. A trophy for all of the twins’ troubles and woes in saving the world they don’t even belong to.

If you decide to leave... Well, if you go for the straightforward way of running away, safe to say you will not make it far. These two have heightened senses from all those years of travelling and battling (and daily commissions), so they’ll probably know when and where you’re trying to run off to. Lumine’s the one who’ll come chasing you, pinning you to the ground with her blade at your throat - betrayal is such an ugly thing, but she is willing to forgive you.

That’s not to say your little escape attempt will not have repercussions. Lumine will be the one administering punishments, wondering aloud if you should be allowed to live now that you’re broken a promise, their trust. Perhaps the stars made a mistake - and they, the omnipresent, new gods of Teyvat, should be the ones to correct such error.

And just when you’re scared to the point of submission and trembling and begging for your life, Aether waltzes in and comforts you, wrapping his arms around you, petting your hair and whispering sweet nothings in your ear. And you have no choice but to cling to him, the only person in the world that shows you kindness, even though you know it’s a ruse, and you know they are both smirking as you sob into his shoulder. This is exactly where they wanted you, after all.

Even if you somehow manage to make it to any nearby town, at this point people know who you are, or rather, who you belong to. No one dares to challenge the twins - not because they are scared of them, but rather, they are scared of what the twins represent. Who could replace them in defending Teyvat? They were sent by the stars after all, and it would be foolish to reject their favour. It’s easier to tie you up in the shed and report your whereabouts, turning the blind eye to your bloodcurdling screams and cries for help.

If you decide to take the pacifistic route, with the reasoning that you cannot possibly escape them, you can try to talk to them - you’re not happy, you want to go home, and if they love you, they surely must let you go? Expect Aether to be the one to sit down and pat your head in the most patronizing manner. Gaslighting and guilt-tripping are second nature to him after all. The conversations with him make you dizzy, because you truly don’t remember anymore if you said those things, if you promised to be by their side no matter what, for the sake of Teyvat - they both twist your words, twist your feelings, experiences, secrets to their liking. They loom over you like shadows, preying on your self-doubt and fears.

Lumine chimes in with her share of threats - can you sustain yourself in the world as it is now? If you leave, the twins will not lift a finger to protect Teyvat. Are you ready to bear the consequences and see nations collapse, knowing that you could have prevented this were it not for your selfish reasons?

Ultimately, the twins will always be together - and you, you’ll be there with them, for as long as you live.

That is what the stars foretold, after all.

Arguments/Reconcilement with Fushiguro Megumi, Itadori Yuji and Okkotsu Yuta

Fushiguro Megumi

This wasn’t your first time arguing with him. You both did argue some time in the past but this too much for you to handle which leads you to start crying despite all your attempt to hold it back.

Megumi stops talking and looks at you with a worried expression. Before he can reach for you, you have already run out of the room, leaving him behind.

You don’t want to see him for a while because you are still mad and upset with Megumi so you locked yourself in the room to calm yourself down and ignores his desperate knocking.

Megumi loves to always be by your side every day. So the fact that you are acting like he doesn’t exist absolutely broke his heart.

He would become insecure and worried that you would break up with him because of what he said to you earlier. He legit can’t sleep, just recalling back the argument while staring at the ceilings.

He would probably start crying when he remembers when he makes you cry, thinking he is the worse boyfriend ever.

Megumi can’t ask anyone for help because Itadori would be clueless and dumb, Kugisaki would scream at him for acting like and Gojo would give awful advice that is completely useless and futile.

So Megumi had enough of you being distant and doesn't care who is wrong or right. So when he manages to get some alone time with you, he would hug and mutter a sorry to you then saying it profusely to you.

Internally, he is begging you to not break up with him. His soul would be crushed to million pieces if you do.

You can feel a tear or two starts soaking your clothes and notices Megumi shaking. He is probably trying his best to not have a full-blown cry in front of you.

You would hug him back in hope that it would cheer him up. Which it does because you finally acknowledge him after days o you being distant from him.

Just please reassure and comfort him cause he is feeling like the worst boyfriend ever and that you deserve better. Those thoughts will soon vanish if you comfort him and reconcile together.

Itadori Yuji

Like every couple, you and Yuji have fought some times in the past but you just started crying in the middle of an argument with him because he is yelling at you.

Yuji would wanted to cry because you are crying because of HIM and he can feel wave of guilt hit him hard like a boulder but he hold it back, afraid that you would think he is being dramatic and is acting the victim.

He is supposed to make you laugh and smile but he ended up making you upset and sobbing. He wanted to say something but the back of throat felt dry and it stings a lot that he can utter a word.

The only he can do to comfort your weeping state, he pull you into a hug and let your tears soak his clothes. Yuji doesn’t care about his clothes or anything else, he is now only worry how you see him after what he say to you.

Would you think he is mean and inconsiderate? Is he not enough for you? Hell, would you break up with him? Please don’t, Yuji is shaking to the core thinking about it.

“I am so sorry.. p-please forgive me and don’t leave me alone,” Yuji said, not knowing that he shaking visibly like a leave and is about to break. He put his head over your shoulder, not wanting you to see his face. Just mad and disappointed of himself.

You would take notice of it and don’t care who is wrong or right now. Yuji is sad now and you wanted to see the usual smiling Yuji again. You hug him back as you dry your tears then comfort him that you won’t leave him alone, reassuring him that he isn’t the worst boyfriend ever and he is the kind and caring one that you adore.

Okkotsu Yuta

Whenever you argue with him, Yuta would always be the first one to start crying because he thinks that you are upset and disappointed of him and that you would leave him. So he would always do everything to avoid an argument with you.

But of course, what makes a couple is arguments.

As a special grade sorcerer, Yuta is often assigned a lot of difficult mission which leads him to become very stressful and tired. So when you told him he should take a break, he vents his frustration and anger to you, yelling hurtful words to you without thinking because he is so tired.

When Yuta finally got into his senses, he saw you starts crying but you cover you face so he won’t see the damage he has put into you.

Yuta don’t what to say but every drop of tears you shed, rip his heart out.

“Y-Y/N. I-I-,” before he say more, you have already dash out of the room and leave him behind without saying anything. But he can still hear your sound of cries and it slowly to fade away as you keep running away.

Now is his turn to start crying and be mad of himself instead. Gosh, he feels like the worse human being ever and wishes to take back what he has shouted to you before. But the damage had already been done.

When the next day come, Yuta would try to greets you with a smile that you said you adore, but you just ignore and walk past him with an empty look on your face.

What you didn’t know that Yuta every time you don’t acknowledge him, he can feel himself breaking on the inside but he hides it because he don’t want to be seen to be seen exaggerating.

Yuta didn’t ask for help from his friends or teachers because he don’t want to trouble them with his problem that he caused because of his recklessness.

So every time you just ask like he doesn’t exist, he thinks it meant that you wanted break up with him which is wrong because is just that you are still mad of Yuta and that you need some time to collects yourself. You know what Yuta said is not what he meant and you know that you will eventually reconcile with him.

But what you didn’t expect that the argument before has deeply affected him. You find him crying in the room all by himself. Head in the knees and sobbing at the corner of the room.

“Yuta?” When he found out that he has been caught, he tries to muffle up his sobs and cover his weeping face, not wanting you to see his pathetic state but he would then starts choking and shaking like crazy, trying his best to collect himself but he is deeply hurt and ashamed for you to see him like this.

“Y-Y/N *hiccups* I-I am s-sorry t-that you h-have to s-” you hug him and whisper some comforting words to him and let him cry on your shoulder. He would then starts apologizing to you profusely while crying and hugging you tightly, begging you not to break with him.

You hush him softly. “I am not going anywhere, I know that you didn’t mean what you say. Is alright now,” you said.

Yuta would then calm down and you both would cuddle each other somewhere private to make up the time that you both lost after the argument. You can feel him scoot closer to your figure, obviously showing that he misses you so much.
