on the gaia online website ^_^ you'll have to sign up

extensive guide:

click on your avatar - you will see it on the header in the top left. it will bring you to the dressing room, then from there, follow these images.

hope this helps ^_^

and yes you Will be overwhelmed sometimes because there are literally thousands of items on the site. just prepare yourself for that lmfao

NO you do NOT have to purchase the items to use them when using the search function in the dressing room. when building an avi from the search function just know you cannot savewear items you dont have, obv lol. that's what the closet is for! obv my friends and i use this site more for OC building than using the other parts of the site itself.

I think that all big modern social media sites need to allow you to play a song (maybe connected to Spotify?) on your profile (doesn't even need to be auto-play! Just give people a way to put a song they love on their profile that people can choose to play.) and have a custom accent colour you can choose for your profile as well. Like, obviously they won't wanna give ENTIRE control like earlier sites (like Myspace, Gaia and of course here) but the control we have now on things like Twitter and Facebook is so limited I'm surprised we can even have headers and put things other than our actual faces in our profile pictures anymore.

Now that I noticed I had the same header for over a decade I needed a change, Skyrim header is gone. But now I’m like should I change my pfp too, but it’s one of my fav photoshops, still I have another photoshop and found my main two Gaia online outfits so I’m torn

Then again I use a color swapped Darth Nihilus for pretty much everywhere else on the internet 🤔
