I know I'm delulu but hear me out

I heard suggestions about Étoiles joining Cellbit and Baghera after the elimination of his team but I offer something better:

The return of team Panda.

Not as a competitor but as an ennemy for all the other teams, like Cellbit and Baghera. I mean, the menace of the 2nd was them and the 3rd, ratatoier, so why not a new one for the 4th.

BBH cheated during the 3rd event but wasn't punished for it. So team Panda, back from the dead, is the exaggerated punishment. All the teams will suffer from it, because Purgatory was never fair, so why it will change now?

Team Panda will not be as powerful as Cellbit and Baghera, they can be killed. But they have only one rule : being cruel

Green Gay Pandas Elimination - Short Fic

Hi, Happy New Year! I have a little something from last year (hehe) when the Green Gay Pandas were eliminated since I was so emotionally moved from the last minutes of their last day from Barca's POV and the aftermath of when Etoiles was in the call.

I do have to warn y'all that fanfics and writing in general are not my specialty so it's short.

Barca takes one last look at the results.

He couldn't do it anymore. The man wants to sob his heart out for letting his team down. He promised them that he would lead them to victory.

To live another day…

One last, freezing breath.

This was for the best, however. Had he accepted others' help, it would have haunted him knowing he let Goose Gang die unfairly. He holds his principles dearly.

He rather die in someone else's place.

The weight of the world on his shoulders slowly dissipates.

Barca sees the poppies he still had in his inventory and then smiles to himself. He knows what to do next.

Scraping off the snow on his dress, he walks back to his base. In front of their chests, he sees to his left Ethan and Mythos fast asleep with Ethan leaning onto the other. To the right, Kenny and Soaring also were asleep, delicately holding hands. Barca notices that his leader is missing and it doesn't take long to find him. Etoiles whispers to himself in a hushed voice, perhaps talking with other players. Barca couldn't stand to see his leader in such a state. He knows that Etoiles fought the best he could and has told him as much, but it couldn't break him out of his depressive state.

As this was their last night together, Barca squeezes Etoiles' shoulder, thanking him for the wonderful experience of fighting together. Etoiles takes a moment to digest the situation. He smiles back, reassuring him that it wasn't his fault and that they all fought well too. The Latino leads the other where the rest of the team is and sits in the middle, next to Mythos. Etoiles joins next to Barca and next to his best friend, Kenny. Barca then lays down all the poppies left in his inventory, giving his thanks to his leader.

Once done, they talk.

and talk.

About their lives, their experiences, how they had fun, how they laughed, how they kept going, how they will miss each other.

They talked until they closed their eyes for the final time.

In their decorated grave.

i think a crucial aspect of the codebreakers dynamic that is sometimes overlooked is how likewise enamoured phil is with étoiles . like étoiles is the god of praising and hyping people up so people tend to focus on how much étoiles thinks phil is the coolest guy ever but do not forget that phil also thinks étoiles is the coolest fucking guy to ever guy he will never pass up an opportunity to talk about how cool and strong and funny étoiles is . their relationship is built on their mutual ‘WOW this guy is awesome’ feelings for one another and it is amazing
