a bite of the cold air shuddered your damp and nude body once you stepped out of the bathroom, cataloguing the tidiness of your shared bedroom after. your shoulders tensed when the heated air and cold draft clashed for an estate of your body. but by the way your muscles eased into the green towel around your waist, you’ve figured which side won the war. a warm cheer to victory buzzed in your head.
god, did i luck out with peter…
you found yourself repeating that observation often these days. it’s only been two months into the semester, but you’ve already concluded that peter was leagues better than your previous roommate. though, the bar was low—he was kind of a homophobe. that guy was a walking proof of evidence that opposites, in fact, do not attract.
on the other hand, peter had proven that similar interests and personalities were the foundation of beautiful, growing relationships: both platonically and romantically. still, relationships were never that black and white—a grey area. a theory that will forever be tested on, only for the outcome to come out vaguer than before, you’ve realized.
peter was like you: friendly, smart, awkward at times, funny to some. you and him basically have the same qualities of a dog, but there was more to it.
you both shared the same liking down to the genre of video games, the magic of fantasy novels, the cleanliness of a room, the color-coded organization of study notes, and more.
from there, the similar line of characteristics began to blur. whereas you’d prefer to learn from experience, peter liked playing by the book—sticking to it if he could. peter liked red, you liked blue. he favored savory snacks, you devoured them, but preferred sweet drinks.
opposites attract—the theory was once again, broad in your honor.
difference and similarities aside, you were lucky to have peter in your life. the bedroom was colder before you went to shower, but now it blossomed with a gentle heat.
he knew you hated the cold after a warm shower.
taking the other towel, you dried off the rest of your body while you checked your phone for notifications: a missed call from a friend and a few emails regarding construction around the building you had your classes in.
seriously? still? it’s been almost a year already…
normally, you wouldn’t have walked into the bedroom like this, baring skin and all. but peter went to get food because you both have become familiarized with what they served as food at parties.
note to self: you cannot get full off alcoholic beverages. you and peter both tried two parties ago, and it ended with you two sharing the toilet bowl, detoxing your insides of that liquid poison the entire night. the only enjoyment that resulted from that night was learning that peter was a drunk-crier, and you, a drunk-dancer. your friendship had only leveled up since.
you slid on your white briefs once you dried off before shuffling to the other side of the room, browsing through your shared closet aimlessly: he took the left side, you took the right. it was always dim at those parties, so a nice outfit would be wasted. also, you somehow became a magnet for other people’s misfortunes. it took hours to get rid of the smell of this one girl’s vomit—you threw it out in the end.
“no, no… it’s going to be cold later…” you cycled through your clothes again, sighing when nothing caught your eye. “guess i can wear this aga-“
“hey!” out of nowhere, peter’s voice sprung out from the side of the room, followed by a quiet thud, and you twisted your bare body towards the source out of fright.
“jesus, you scared me.” the closet door blocked your view of peter, and vice versa, but you presumed he was leaning against the frame—a habit you noted. “i didn’t even hear you come back.”
“sorry- what was i saying..? oh!” his shadow loomed between you and him, growing as he stepped closer to the closet. “did you want to eat now or-“
judging from the volume of his voice, you should’ve expected how close peter was when you shut the closet. “fuck!” you jumped back, eyes widening when he was practically chest to chest with you. “dude, you really gotta stop doing that.”
on a daily basis, you always looked up at him, but you never paid it much thought to how much taller he was.
“sorry! guess everyone’s a little antsy with the- oh.” he paused.
“what?” you curiously looked up at him, catching sight of his wandering gaze. you were quick enough to follow it, flickering between glimpses of your bare body and face several times like a tennis ball. somehow, you didn’t puzzle the pieces between his shock and your curiosity until he backed away, skittish in nature.
you were in your underwear. still in your underwear. the barrier was the captor of your embarrassment, heat rosed your cheeks as you stood frozen. and with it, the barrier was also your savior.
“oh- OH!” the size of your eyes matched his and upon realizing he’s been staring for far too long, peter cowered his gaze to the side, a gentlemanly hand blocking his sight as he further backed to the door frame, then blindly bumped his shoulder into the door. “i’m so sorry-“
“no, no! i should’ve knocked. i-“ he groaned out, pacifying the sting to his shoulder with his palm. “that was stupid of me, i’m gonna-“
that was another similarity that you both valued: privacy.
before you could reply, he scattered off. for a moment, you felt hot in the face, in the neck, even on your chest. but it would only take a few more seconds for your skin to cool, comforted by the fact that you could’ve shown more—you didn’t.
when peter scrambled out of the room, his gaze fixated on the ground, to the stripes of his socks as they shuffled to the kitchen.
but he never made it very far, because he was easily persuaded. either by his hormones, by the shape of your body, or by his closeted feelings about you. in the end, it didn’t matter because a tightening feeling conjured him back to his original spot—it was always going to be about you.
he was silent in his footsteps, treading backwards to the bedroom as his throat ran dry—heartbeat equally.
tonight. i should do it tonight. are my feelings that obvious? god, i hope not. wait, no- they are! they gotta be… who the fuck wipes marshmallow off of your roommate’s lips and calls them cute?!
peter does.
as his thoughts ran rampant, clouded his regularly murky mind, you were in his line of sight, perfectly captured in the middle of his gaze—now stilled—awe-strucked while he watched you change.
quick portraits of your thick thighs and calves came and went before they were completely masked by the slide of your shorts. then your stomach and chest; pliant, moist skin that layered over the contours of your body before being covered by a tee. he exhaled, then inhaled, smelling the scent of your shampoo and body wash, and he was delighted because you own that scent.
enraptured because only peter could have his senses triggered by you on a daily basis.
if peter could frame this moment, it would be an expensive endeavor that would sacrifice all the money in the world to find the most perfect materials that complemented your textured skin. your smooth body. your handsome face.
you. that was all he wanted.
peter had been trapped since the day he saw you unpacking your things into the dorm. sweaty from the sun, and you knew that, because you refused to shake hands with him until you insisted on washing up first. he wished you never did—your thighs looked better sweating under those shorts.
he’s had crushes before. one in middle school, three in high school. but they amounted to nothing, he never had the confidence. rather, he preferred isolating himself and admiring from afar. rejections had already been predicted, and he was used to the feeling of defeat. if someone were to accept his advances one day, then that would lead to a disruption of events—a catastrophic end to humanity—he joked.
you were different to peter. he loved how, for once, he didn’t have to be the one initiating conversation. he also loved how you didn’t use him for answers because instead, you would help him out with his assignments.
oh, is that professor warren’s class? I think i still have the textbook for her class… let me look.
even when it would only take five minutes to grab a drink down the street, you still invited him. not out of pity like everybody once did, but because he was your friend. parties have never been your thing, but you accompanied them with him because it made him feel better—to know someone.
maybe since he’s grown more mature since then, but now that he was off on his own, it was up to him to predict his future. it was an advice you gave him one night, and he’s kept that close to his heart since then.  not the hate that had inflicted his mind, not his peers telling he wasn’t good enough for someone—but him.
in his imaginary world, peter could feel the walls shake when he was around you. the buildings would then fall apart, the earth would scorch civilians and planetary life with heat, and the thundering rain would only make it worse. it was a morbid image. yet, if it meant that you truly liked him, then…
aliens, come do your thing. we insist upon an invasion!
peter wanted you. point, blank, period. it wasn’t his preferred way to confess, but intense sentiments of like, love, lust—all at the same time—ate him up on the inside, and he was scared of being devoid of feelings for you.
“i want… you,” peter muttered, and you jolted again, turning back around in case you misheard him. you were bewildered at the sight of him. once again, you didn’t hear his footsteps.
“what?” you shuffled nervously on your feet. the tension in the air was thick and hot now with the way he stared back at you, frightened yet assured.
“i want you.” there was credence in peter’s tone, and he neared to the door now.
your eyes narrowed into the deep abyss of peter’s eyes as you sat on the foot of your bed, putting on socks. somewhere in your endeavors, you found a flicker of that familiar joke. “ha. ha. very funny,” you muttered bitterly.
it haunted you. as soon as you came out, you were taunted by those same exact words by your ‘friends,’ by your previous roommate. what made you different from them became a simple reason to cease empathy and kindness, and you were baffled that this was happening again.
maybe peter was like the others after all.
you avoided peter’s gaze in favor of the floor, the legs of your desk, your rug—anywhere but him—and you could feel the color drain out of your face, out of this room—deja vu. “look, i know it’s funny to you because i like guys and for whatever reason, straight guys like to flirt with gay men to get a reaction out of us,”
the rug cushioned the weight of a familiar pair of feet, and you looked up, a great frown etched in your face when your eyes met peter’s. he towered over you, bewildered. “but it makes me uncomfortable. and it’s not funny to-“
he didn’t know what roused him. the pain in your voice made him want to apologize without any resort to excuses. the pout on your lips made him want to cradle your head, yet kiss you at the same time. the growing tent in his pants made him want to pin you to your bed, and simply ravish you.
it was all a blur.
his impulsive thoughts became a reality once he stole the remaining words left in your distress, and clumsily swallowed them with a kiss. you didn’t have time to process his lips on yours because you were then pushed onto your back, stilted and surprised, as peter applied his weight on top of yours—his broader build shadowed you in welfare.
“pete-“ you groaned into the hot, breathy kiss, and despite the light attempts to push him away, you were compelled to return the wet exchange. breathlessly, you repeated, “stop, this isn’t funny-“ he kissed you again. all this time, you could’ve had him, but you deluded yourself into thinking otherwise.
“i’m not laughing,” peter muttered, and his hips began moving into yours, aimlessly trying to alleviate the stiffness in his pants. “i want you.” his voice lowered—no longer a confession, but a demand. he rocked into you harder once he felt you throb under those tight short, and you slipped out a moan, memorizing the beat of peter that pulsated against you.
you remembered him being bashful when you two talked about your firsts. you weren’t completely inexperienced like he was, but you mentioned that it’s been a while since you’ve done anything remotely intimate. school was your focus, a relationship was your reward.
“peter,” you repeated again, he wasn’t listening. “peter.” he whispered a demand; to keep calling his name, and you couldn’t help but quietly chuckle at the cliché line often heard in soft porn.
then, you cupped your hands around his temples to pull him away. he gazed into you with ardent hunger, almost annoyed that you ruined the trail of kisses he began leaving on your neck. “did you drink without me? because if you did, then i don’t think we should-“
“i didn’t,” he sobered on the softness of your lips, and like a flip switch, he snapped out of his fictional world of you. “fuck- i’m so sorry, i didn’t even ask you if you wanted to- fuck, i even forgot to say that i like you.” he ranted to himself, beginning to pull himself away. “this was not how it was supposed to go.”
infatuation had expanded into something beyond your control, and your feelings for him ignited even more. a wick bursted into powerful flames, and it warmed your body knowing that you two shared the same sentiment.
before he completely peeled himself off your body, you pulled him down by the neck, then pressed your nose to his, grinning. “I like you too.” a peck to the tip of his nose, then the center of his lips. your onslaught of fleeting kisses to his skin drowned him, pacifying every muscle in his body until it became jelly, and also making it all the more easier to roll him under you.
“not exactly how i imagined my first date with you, but,” you straddled his lap, roaming your hands around peter’s chest, an asset of his you’ve frequently daydreamed about. “you sure?”
the applied pressures to your waist, then bottom should’ve been a definite measure of his answer, but he smiled up at you, guiding a steady pace of your hips to his groin. he was easily distracted, suddenly cascading his other palm up your shirt then down to finally feel the bare skin he had spent long showers jerking off to. fantasies had now been served onto a platter before him, and peter planned on devouring you, piece by piece. “please.”
“must have had a lot on your mind if you couldn’t even confess to me.” it was unusual to see him like this—absolutely enthralled by your presence, high off of it. aching for more of you with the way he pushed his groin into you. “how long have you been thinking about this?” being unusual always had negative connotations to it.
you pressed into him harder, rubbing at his print with gallant grinds. not in this moment.
he moaned, “far too long…” then fumbled with the waistband of your shorts before doing the same with the zipper. “you’ve been driving me crazy, especially these days.” it was a simple task, a daily labor that peter was great at, but his hands shook when his finger met metal. you chuckled, and placed a comforting hand to his cheek, stroking the soft skin with the amplest caress.
take your time. i’m not going anywhere.
“mind sharing what you thought about then?” the only time you peel yourself away from peter’s groin was to help him slide your shorts off, then his jeans. peter lifted his hips, and you two were joined together again. aching together. “just curious.” you joked by pulsating your bulge, and he shyly laughed when he saw the restrictive twitch.
felt it.
“well... where do i start?” peter’s warm hand rested on your inner thigh, dangerously close to your erection while delicately exploring your soft skin. “there’s been so many times where i just wanted to…” he was too ashamed to finish his sentence, looking away.
“wanted to…?” your body arced over his, placing a persuading kiss to his cheek, then neck. “what was it?” they lingered, sunk deep into his skin with the utmost affection, and he left the deepest, pleasurable sighs as if you withdrew it from him. you commenced his dilemma. “tell me what you thought when you first saw me. saw that i was your roommate.”
“i...” peter began, and you could tell his nerves got the best of him, so you rocked into him again, begged with your hips. the position made it easier to feel all of him, press into his warmth more, and you couldn’t stop. wouldn’t. “i didn’t know what to feel. i was happy, that i had someone as kind as you…” you gleefully hummed, agreeing as you continued leaving kisses to his neck.
“then i was nervous, because you were so… cute. handsome. beautiful.” he moaned when you began to grind in slow, deep strides. your bulges squeezed and pushed one another, peter did the same, growing impossibly bigger against you. “but when i saw you in those shorts, sweating because move-in day was always on a hot day…”
“yeah?” you beckoned him to finish his sentence because you were closing your eyes now, remembering that very moment because you felt the same. the way peter’s chest, his muscles, were broad and stunning under his own layer of sweat, under his loose shirt, under that naivety that you would never have dreamed to think of him as such a…
“i just wanted to fuck you.”
pervert.
the shy smile he gave you messed with your perception of him. clearly, you’ve underestimated him all this time, and you kissed him again. “so, you only thought about pleasuring yourself.”
he quickly broke the kiss to defend himself. “wait, no! t-that’s not what i meant.”
“peter, relax.” your laugh calmly settled into a comforting smile, and you blindly reached down to his thick print, feeling and squeezing at whatever you can because you were desperate to explore him. “i’m joking.” his chest rose.
for the remainder of time, you spent it stroking peter through his underwear. dryly to his frustration, but he never told you because he wanted to experience you in every way. his lips never left yours, only parted to moan into your mouth when you shoved your hand into his briefs to sate your desire to feel him bare.
peter was big in your small hand. the weight felt suffocating to your palm when you grabbed ahold of his sack, fondling his balls, then stroking his cock again, and you were intoxicated in the way he melted under you, looked into you, begged for you to go faster.
you did. who wouldn’t when he gazed at you with the most puppy-like eyes?
he had complete control of you now, because every action, every stroke, from then on had been a journey to his personal paradise. you didn’t care that you were left abandoned, that you were aching harder than he was. watching him was more than adequate.
both pairs of briefs and shirts have been tossed to the side now, and you maintained your straddle. it was riveting to watch how much bigger peter was when you took both of your cocks together and stroked. he practically enveloped you with the weight of his length, the girth of his shaft, and you wallowed in the fact that he was incredibly bashful about it.
peter’s hand never left your body. he charmed you by his neediness. it was clumsy in execution, but he always squeezed a moan out of you with he felt your ass, your chest, your nipples, your thighs. “fuck, pete.”
everything about you was beautiful, incredibly more so when you caved into him as he dealt kisses to your bare skin and took his own turn at jerking the both of you off.
he was eager. delirious. hard, stiffening hard, against you, and you felt every vein pulsate the harder— the faster—he squeezed and stroked. you leaned back, hands planted to the mattress beneath you, then maneuvered your hips to the rhythm of his fist. you found a pace while peter kept you steady, and fucked into his fist, against his wet cock, sliming your dripping pre-cum together with the utmost fervor.
“wait, (m/n),” he hiccuped, and his hold on you tightened, nails dug into your left waist but you ignored his plea, fucking steadily into his fist. “stop, i’m going to-“ they fell on deaf ears, and mouth agape, peter watched you with incredulity. you can feel his body flex, your balls smushed to his when you grinned up, your pre-cum sticking to his, his to yours, like a sick web. “s-stop, oh god.”
and peter unraveled before you with a guttural moan, finishing the rest of his plea with a blasting of thick and creamy ropes to his chest, like a cannon. the force was strong enough to have a few shots land on his face, then his hair, and then somewhere above because peter was a big shooter—a strong one, you’d passionately testify. “f-fuck, i didn’t mean to cum so-“
“holy shit.” you watched peter in all his glory, then in his embarrassment, while stilted on his lap and sweating, not taking notice of the delay of your climax because it crept up on you quick. a rocket broke the cloud in your thoughts with a boom, and you spilled all over him, shooting like fireworks. “shit!”
peter was your canvas, and it was your duty to paint him. debris of sex splattered everywhere, because you somehow found the strength to continue fucking yourself into the cream of fist, unloading and unloading onto him until you were dry, heaving and dripping.
“fuck- I didn’t mean to ruin your sheets-” he mumbled, a blush stained his cheeks, and you joined in the warmth with a kiss, panting.
“where’s the fun in all of this if you aren’t going to stain at least one thing.” your brows raised at the wet stain on the wall above peter’s head, right below your wall-shelf, and peter’s gazed followed.
he groaned, distressed by the evident he made. “fuck, sorry…” his bashfulness only endeared you even more.
“it’s okay,” you hopped off his lap, stretching your arms into the air. “i’ll clean you up.”
“okay,” peter lay still, his hand cautiously held over his stomach to catch the drips of his cum and yours. it was fascinating to watch the mixture flow together, strands of it melding and un-webbing as he played with the sticky residue. it was the scientist in him. “my towel is on the- fuck-“
without a beat, you took his dripping flaccid cock into your mouth, sucking off any remnants of spunk. an unfamiliar taste you weren’t used to, bitter and salty. it wasn’t until you noticed how peter’s eyes glazed over you, half-lidded because he was in heaven now, that you found the taste of him delectable. peter’s caution for staining your bed sheets was disregarded, because he knew you’d clean the rest of him off.
after you pulled away with a soft pop, he traced your wet lips with the cum on his fingers, then his knuckles, before he pushed one by one into your mouth. one finger at first, then two, then three, you moaned erotically around his digits as peter pumped, marveling in the eagerness of your mouth. he slowly pushed more cum into your mouth. the creamy residue gathered at the corner of your mouth at first but he made sure to scoop it back in, and continued doing so until he was polished clean.
nothing was wasted.
the taste of you and him spread in the warmth of your tongue, and you have never felt more intoxicated.
to peter, you have never looked more beautiful.

Bradley was never usually one to get lost in a daydream. He was exceptionally good at focusing on flying when he was in the air. If he had a task to complete on the ground, he always got it done. But when he spent the rest of his day after talking on the phone with you in his bunk, he wasn't focused on much except the sound of your voice. Then he dug out the pictures you'd mailed to him so he could see your face as well. The combination of everything about you was almost too much, and he didn't know how he'd manage in person.
He still had weeks of his deployment left, and he'd never wanted to get home so badly in his life. That first date was already set. He was annoyed he couldn't give you a firm idea on when it could happen, but you didn't seem to mind too much. In fact, you told him you'd be ready whenever he got back. And that you'd take him any way you could get him. Well, as long as you still wanted him next month, you could have him.
With a smile on his face, Bradley reached for the stack of letters from your class and took the time to judge the drawing contest. All he really did was award each kid their own unique superlative. The purple jet that he thought was Violet's won the 'I Wish the Navy Liked Colors' award. Jayden's drawing of the jet with the dog named Vanessa for a pilot won the 'She Probably Flies Better Than I Do' award. And the one that looked like a dragon won the 'Fanciest Scales' award.
He wrote on the back of each picture, chuckling the whole time. Then he got to the one you drew, and he noticed something he'd missed when he first opened the newest box from your class. Next to his name written on the side of the F/A-18, you'd drawn a little heart. He was all smiles as he flipped it over and started writing.
Hey, Gorgeous,
This one's my favorite, but don't tell the kiddos, okay? The little heart really sold it for me. I can't wait to see you.
Bradley
After he packaged everything up and dropped it off to be sent back to the states, he made his way to dinner. He ate his meatloaf alone once again, but he hadn't felt lonely in months. The adrenaline rush of the phone call was finally starting to wear off, but he felt warm all over. You'd be asleep now back in California, but maybe there was a chance you had in fact emailed him that selfie before you went to bed. And that is what once again lured him back to the lounge. You had a vise-like grip on every part of him, and he was itching to know exactly what you looked like tonight while he was talking to you.
Unsurprisingly, he had to wait a bit until there was a computer free that he could use. Sundays always seemed to be when the lounge was swamped, but he didn't mind. He just sat back and thought about the way you said his name. He could imagine you whispering it. He could even imagine you screaming it.
"Shit," he grunted, hopping up when it was finally his turn, and he logged into his email account to find that you wrote to him approximately fifteen minutes after the phone call ended. And when he opened your message, he leaned in a little closer to make sure nobody else around him could catch even a glimpse of the photos you attached.
His heart started beating in that same erratic way it had when he listened to you telling him you thought about kissing his scars. Not only had you emailed him a sweet looking selfie of you in bed wearing an oversized sweatshirt, you sent a second, decidedly spicier one, too.
Bradley ran his hand over his mouth and mustache, trying not to groan as he quickly memorized every detail of that second photo. You'd removed that oversized sweatshirt and snuggled down under the soft looking sheet, and there was not a scrap of shirt fabric covering your arms or chest. Inch after glorious inch of the soft swell of your breasts was visible before the sheet forced him to imagine what the rest would look like. And he had a very vivid imagination.
When his hand dropped down to his side, he realized he was staring open mouthed at the photo. The little smirk you wore in it let him know you were absolutely intentional about this, and that was such a huge turn on for him. This is how you wanted him to see you. Fuck. He scrolled back up to the first photo where you were wearing your sweatshirt and a much more innocent smile, and he whispered, "Okay, Gorgeous. You've ruined me."
He realized as he scrolled all the way back up to your actual message that there were probably a lot of guys who got sent straight up pornography from their wives or girlfriends when they were deployed, but this had to be the hottest looking thing that ever graced his inbox. And you were still completely covered up. He shook his head to clear his mind as he started reading.
Bradley,
Thank you for the phone call. I'm sitting here kind of regrouping while the butterflies are still going crazy in my belly. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is with you that sets them off, but hearing your voice for twenty minutes straight has turned me into a boneless heap on my bed. I'm almost afraid of what might happen to me if you touch me.
It's gone. I deleted my profile and the entire dating app. I'm no longer looking for single guys with jobs who are between 30 and 40 years old. I'm just looking for a 36-year old Naval aviator who wants to take me to the beach in Coronado to watch the sunset with Thai food and Prosecco.
I hope you come home soon. Do you have any idea how much longer you'll be gone? Why isn't the Navy taking into consideration the fact that you and I have a date to go on? I'd just really like to see your face in person as soon as possible.
I'm attaching two photos, probably against my better judgement. Maybe it's just my excuse to get you to call me Gorgeous again. I can't wait to see you.
Your favorite pen pal
He wanted to wait until he had some gym selfies to send, but he couldn't leave you hanging. Not when those two, flawless photos caught his eye again. So he started typing up a response, and soon he found that he wanted to talk to you on the phone again badly enough that he was going to go back to one of the admirals to see if there was any way he could.
----------------------------
You had such a hard time falling asleep on Saturday night after talking to Bradley. It was like your body had accepted the inevitable before your brain had. You were completely enchanted by him, and the call made it so much worse. Hearing him call you Gorgeous through your phone speaker was almost more than you could handle. You were turned on and too warm, even without your sweatshirt. You couldn't believe you sent him that photo. You couldn't believe you trusted him enough to keep it private.
He probably dated women in the past who sent him things that were way more explicit than a selfie where they were covered up, but you were still a teacher who wanted to keep her job. You loved your class, and you knew nobody else could handle your kids as well as you could. But you wanted to give Bradley what you could for now.
It was the description of the perfect date and the promise that he'd kiss you as soon as he saw you that kept playing in your mind. And you let it keep playing on loop, because he lived in Coronado. And that's how you finally dozed off. When you woke up on Sunday morning, you had a brand new email in response to your selfies.
Gorgeous,
I'm thrilled to hear the app is gone. All of the other single guys aged thirty to forty are probably at home crying right now, and I can't blame them. I'll just sit here with a smug look on my face.
That phone call was one of the best of my life. The way you say my name is somehow better than I imagined it would sound, and I'd been spending a lot of my free time thinking about it. Hearing your voice and seeing you in these photos is a privilege. That second one had me staring with my mouth hanging open for a few minutes. I think I just about memorized it, but I'm going to check one more time before I log off. Okay, maybe two more times. As much as I love it, I don't want to feel pressured to send me things like that. But dear god, Gorgeous, I mean it when I say you take that word to a whole new level.
You don't need an excuse to get me to call you Gorgeous. Hopefully by next month, you'll be hearing it so much in person that you'll be sick of it. And it's not a matter of if I touch you, it's a matter of when.
As soon as I have a better idea of when I'll be back in San Diego, that information will be in your inbox immediately.
I can't wait to see you,
Bradley
You couldn't wait that long. You would never make it. Your sheets were brushing your bare skin as you thought about him calling you Gorgeous so many times that you got sick of it, but you knew that would never happen. You were going to need another hobby or maybe five to help you pass the time, but for now, you decided to work on your lesson plans for the coming week.
Your kids would probably be happy to learn that you were planning on extending your aviation lessons to the end of the school year. Or at least until Bradley got back. What you wouldn't give to have him visit your classroom. Just the idea of him standing in front of the board, maybe in his flight suit, left you light headed. You already knew your kids would be absolutely delighted to meet him after writing back and forth so many times.
After you managed to distract yourself for a full day, you were just getting into bed when you heard your phone ping with a notification. "Oh god," you groaned in pleasure. When you opened the new email from Bradley, you were met with the promised gym selfies. One was of his reflection which was taken in a long mirror that seemed to cover most of a wall. You could see some other people working out in the background, but front and center was Bradley curling a massive looking dumbbell in snug shorts and a shirt with the sleeves ripped off.
You dropped down onto your bed and zoomed in on his biceps. "Dear Lord." Your heart was hammering in your chest now. Did he not know what he looked like? Did he not know that his body was absolutely flawless? The second photo was even better. The half-smirk, half-smile and the peek of pretty, white teeth. The slightly messy hair. The chocolatey brown eyes. The scars with the beads of sweat running down them. "Unbelievable."
And then you read the short message.
Two gym selfies, as promised. You asked for a nice closeup of my face, and that's as good as it gets. Talk soon, Gorgeous.
You were still looking at the photos when you fell asleep.
-----------------------------
Bradley shouldn't have been surprised that another mission was in the works. He'd been so caught up in you, he almost expected smooth sailing and a direct path back to San Diego so he could get on with his personal life. But no such luck. After several days holed up in planning sessions, the only real happiness he found was in each new email from you.
There was another class photo in one. There was a selfie of you at a Thai restaurant in another. And there were always a lot of fun details about your day, too. But it was the bits where you let him know you were thinking about him that made him a little weaker for you with every passing day. His favorite was when you told him you donated all of your DVDs of movies with spiders in them. He also loved it when you told him that your students wanted to meet him.
If he could just get back, you and he would be watching all the spider-less movies together, and he'd be more than happy to visit your classroom. But, fuck, this deployment was dragging. He was tired, but he wasn't sleeping well. And there seemed to be cabbage rolls every evening in the cafeteria. When he finally made it out on deck a few days before he was supposed to fly the mission, he ended up talking to Marty.
"You need a hand with that?" Bradley asked the mechanic as he worked on taking apart an engine.
"Sure, Lieutenant," Marty replied, handing Bradley some very greasy bolts and a wrench. "Just hang onto those for me."
Two minutes of watching him work, and Bradley wished he'd brought his phone with him to record a video for your class. "The kids would love this," he muttered, and Marty chuckled.
"You still sending stuff to that elementary class back in San Diego? The pen pals?"
"Yeah," Bradley replied. "I think I've kind of adopted them. Or maybe they've adopted me? Either way, I've been writing to them this entire deployment. And... you know how you asked me if I was dating a teacher a few months ago?"
Marty looked at him and laughed. "Let me guess. You fell for their teacher?"
He nodded and sighed when he thought about you. "Yeah... it's just been a lot of emails and letters and one phone call, but now I can't wait to get back home."
"Damn," Marty grunted as he removed another bolt. "Some guys have all the luck." Bradley ended up helping him lift some heavy parts from a crate as Marty told him, "I have a ten minute FaceTime call scheduled for later this week if you want to use it to talk to your new girlfriend again."
Bradley was ready to jump at the chance to see your face and hear your voice at the same time, but instead he said, "I can't take that from you, but thanks, man."
Marty shrugged. "I'll just end up talking to my sister again. You can have it."
Bradley stared at him for a few seconds. "Yeah? You're sure?"
"All yours."
Bradley stayed long enough to get the details and help Marty unload everything else he needed to finish his project, and then he got cleaned up and went to the lounge to email you. If you were able to talk to him over FaceTime, it would be everything he needed to get through this last flight mission and end his deployment on a high note.
--------------------------
"Lieutenant Bradshaw said my drawing is the funniest one!"
"Lieutenant Bradshaw likes the rooster beak I put on my jet!"
"Lieutenant Bradshaw said mine is the least realistic in a good way!"
You were trying not to laugh as you looked at each of the little messages Bradley wrote on the backs of the F/A-18 drawings. They were all somehow well thought out and personalized. It was as if he actually knew these kids. But you supposed that in a way, he did. You kept going back to your desk to look at the note on the back of your drawing.
Hey, Gorgeous,
This one's my favorite, but don't tell the kiddos, okay? The little heart really sold it for me. I can't wait to see you.
Bradley
Seeing him was all you could think about now. You were almost completely convinced that your feelings would translate well from virtual to personal interaction. How could they not? He was as sweet and sincere over the phone as he was through his writing.
When you checked your phone after your kids were dismissed for the day, you tapped on a new email from Bradley before you started packing your bag to head home.
Gorgeous, any chance you have ten minutes you're willing to spend on a FaceTime call? Tomorrow night around 8:00 for you?
You squeaked in delight at the mere thought of it. His face and his voice and his words and his attention all at the same time? Ten minutes of it?
Yes! I'll be ready!
Now you had to wait. You also had to get your friends to bump up the Friday night dinner reservation to 5:00. And you needed to make sure you looked nicer than you did when you were usually lounging at home in your oversized sweatshirt.
So when Friday evening rolled around, and you barely made it home from dinner by 8:00, you were a little frazzled. You wanted to take the time to fix your makeup, and you wanted to change into a cuter shirt that your friends would have definitely called you out on if they saw you wearing it to dinner, but there was no time. Your phone was already ringing at 8:01.
This time, the butterflies erupted as soon as you accepted the call and saw Bradley sitting there in his flight suit with a hesitant smile on his face. He didn't even have to say a word to make you feel like you were going to float up to the ceiling even as you tried to sit down on your bed.
"Bradley," you breathed softly, and his smile grew exponentially.
"Hey, Gorgeous."
You bit your lip as you took in all the details of his face on your tiny phone screen. His brown eyes were wide as he did the same to you, and you couldn't stop yourself before you said, "Hey, Handsome."
His cheeks immediately flushed with a pink tint, and he looked down at the table in front of him with a bashful smile. You wanted to climb through your phone to get to him, settle yourself down on his lap, and feel how rough his flight suit was against your hands. You wanted to tip his face up so he was looking at you again, and when he did that on his own, you almost screamed in delight at what he said next.
"Damn, Baby. You didn't need to get all dressed up just to talk to me. You look beautiful right now, but I'm also partial to your sweatshirt."
You looked down at yourself and then back at him with a little laugh. He was staring at you in awe as you said, "I always look like this."
"You always look like this? You always look this hot?" he asked, that little grin you liked so much dancing around his lips. "Seriously?"
"Well, I mean, I didn't do anything special. I wanted to, but I ran out of time, and I definitely didn't want to miss your call."
Your heart was thudding as he really scanned your face and let out a low whistle. "I guess I'll find out for myself soon enough. About two more weeks to go, and then I'll be home. I just got that information today."
"Two weeks!" you exclaimed, nearly dropping your phone. Images of beach sunsets and Bradley's big hand holding yours filled your mind. "That's better than I was hoping for!"
You watched him run his hand through his hair, almost like he was nervous now. "Same. So what do you say? Two Saturdays from now, as long as everything goes as planned, you want to go on that first date with me?"
"Yes, Bradley," you replied immediately. "If you want to spend your first day back on dry land with me, then that's absolutely what I want to do."
His voice was deep and raspy as he said, "Then it's a date." But his eyes still seemed uncertain, and you knew instinctively that there was more going on as he asked, "You think... maybe we could talk about date number two for a minute? I was thinking we would go out to a restaurant so I can prove to you that I clean up okay."
You had to press your lips together for a few seconds before you said, "I have no doubt in my mind that you'd look just as good in a tee shirt as you would in a tuxedo."
That made him laugh as he scratched along the stubble on his jaw. "Humor me, Gorgeous? We would end up going out on a second date, right?" he asked, and somehow you could tell that something else was on his mind. "Maybe we would even go on a third?"
"Would?" you asked softly. "Don't you mean will?"
"Shit, I'm sorry," he said, leaning in a little closer. "Yeah. We will."
You and he studied each other as you asked, "Is there something wrong?"
He leaned back in his seat, and your heart started beating a most uncomfortable rhythm. "Damn it," he muttered, closing his eyes briefly as he took a deep breath. "We only have a few minutes on here, and I'm fucking it up because I'm nervous." You noticed he was rubbing his palms along his thighs, and he looked you in the eye as he said, "I really like you. All I can think about is getting home and doing all the things I promised. I don't usually feel like I have anything special to look forward to in San Diego. Or at least I didn't before we started talking." He cleared his throat and added, "I'm flying a final mission here in a few hours. It's a sensitive one, and... I just wanted you to know that I'll be thinking about you until I have to put my head down and get to work."
"Oh," you gasped, suddenly more aware than ever that he had the kind of anxiety inducing, adrenaline spiking job you could only ever dream of. Your fourth grade classroom was tame by comparison. Your students were nothing compared to opposing fighter jets. His career was dangerous.
Tears filled your eyes as he groaned a little bit and whispered, "I'm sorry, Baby. I kind of killed the vibe."
"You didn't," you told him quickly, studying the concern written on his features. Then your voice got even softer as you asked, "How will I know you're okay?"
He cleared his throat and said, "Sometimes they close off communication as we get closer to port. Of course I'll email you if I can, otherwise I'll let you know when I'm back in San Diego." His brown eyes flicked to the side and then back to you. "I'm going to have to go in a minute here."
There were a lot of things you knew would have to be left unsaid for now, so you told him what you could. "I really like you, too," you promised him, and some of the worry melted away from his face. "And I'm thinking dinner at an Italian restaurant for our second date. That way you can get cleaned up nice, and I can wear a dress that I'll be stressing out about all night long. And you can tell me that I look gorgeous while my foot keeps intentionally bumping yours under the table." He was smiling now, so you decided to go for broke. "And you kind of promised me takeout on your couch with a spider-free movie. I was hoping you'd play a song on the piano for me. I was hoping to cover both of us with a blanket and kiss you senseless. How does that sound?" You were gripping your phone a little tighter, hoping you'd be able to hear his response before he said he had to go.
"That sounds perfect, Gorgeous," he said, looking a lot calmer now. "Let's do that."
"Please, be careful."
"I will."
And then he was gone.
-------------------------------
Bradley needed to make it home, because he decidedly had a lot to do there. Nat was expecting not one, but two dinners out of him now. There were eighteen fourth graders he wanted to meet. And as he ended a FaceTime call with the woman of his dreams while she had tears in her eyes, he knew he wanted to go on those dates more than anything else. If he never got to meet you in person... well he couldn't even think about that right now. He was supposed to report to his jet on the main runway in an hour, but you kept popping up in every corner of his mind. You were more emotionally open with him over a ten minute call than Vanessa ever was.
"Bradshaw!" He turned to see a petty officer coming toward him with a box. "Last mail call."
"Thank you," he replied, already smiling as he recognized your handwriting. His nineteen pen pals were here to keep him company once again, and his heart swelled with something he didn't even want to try to identify at the moment. All he could do was drop the box off in his bunk and tell himself he'd open it when he got back after nightfall.
---------------------------
Vulnerable Bradley is nervous just thinking about what might happen. He's starting to feel like Gorgeous could be be the one waiting on the San Diego end of all of his deployments from now on, but he needs to get through the rest of this one first. Maybe they can meet in the next part? Thanks @beyondthesefourwalls

Dad!Aventurine Headcanons
Warning/s: None and reader's gender isn't mentioned, whether the child is adopted or your own is up to you
Notes: I wish I had a dad🧍 /j
Tumblr media
im fully convinced aventurine is a girl dad and it's hard to convince me otherwise
with his job, dad!aven couldn't spend that much time with his little girl as much as he wanted, the days where he wasn't needed to leave for different planets were far and between
and when he leaves, it takes weeks to months before he comes home despite trying his very best to finish his assignment quickly so, even though he knows it won't exactly be comparable to his presence in his daughter’s life, he sends gifts and toys. whatever she wanted, he’d give it to her
dad!aven would often call you when he's away, face timing to see and talk to you and your daughter. it'd send a pang of guilt and pain in his heart to see the frown and the tears she held back whenever he said he wouldn't be home yet
he’d be the type to rewatch the videos you’d send of you and your kid just enjoying your days whenever he misses you both, a smile on his face as he grows more determined to finish his work to come home to you
he loves his family, and treats you two as his most precious treasures, more precious than anything else in the galaxy. you’re the only ones he has left, after all. he thought his luck had ran out when you and your daughter entered his life, because he couldn't get any luckier
but whenever the man’s home, oh boy does the house get so lively
dad!aven would go along with his daughter’s wishes, doing whatever she wanted so you often had to help your husband wipe the thick make up off of his face that your daughter applied on him when they played
you remember walking in on them having a pretend tea party where they gossiped about the other ‘guests’ which were her plushies, he looked like he was enjoying it more than your daughter
they'd make bracelets together, and he'd proudly wear the bracelet his daughter made for him even though the colors didn't really look that good together or with his outfit. in his eyes, it was perfect and he'd bring it up to whoever he was talking to at work even though no one asked
dad!aven would be the type to sneak sweets for your daughter even though you told him not to because dinner was almost done, he was a victim to your daughter’s puppy eyes and pout
he once spent a day out to bond with his daughter, insisting you go and rest and have some you time while he takes care of your daughter. you later found out he took her to the casino, and the way you scolded their ears off after made him remind himself not to do it again
dad!aven was an entirely different person than the aventurine of the ten stonehearts. he was but a loving father that treasured both you and his daughter
Tumblr media
“daddy, move! you’re heavy!” your daughter whined as she tried to push her father who was leaning against her on the couch as they waited for you to finish preparing for the day out
aventurine dramatically gasped, looking down at his daughter with a faux offended look, “do you not want my love and affection anymore?”
the child, who genuinely thought she hurt her father's feelings, stammered, “n-no!”
“‘no’?” he echoed, his acting skills quite helpful when teasing his little girl as he looked away, sniffing as if he was actually crying
“i-i mean!” she stood on the couch, wrapping her short arms around his shoulders, “i still want daddy’s hugs! even when im older! i don't want you to leave again!”
his teasing might've gotten a bit too far when she began to sob, aventurine internally panicked as he embraced her, rubbing her back, “hey now, daddy was just teasing.”
“why is our little girl crying, kakavasha?”
the moment he heard your voice, he knew he was done for

♡Michael Schmidt has a crush♡
Tumblr media
You were a sophomore in college, even though you live in an apartment off campus you still visited your mom almost everyday to check on her and to eat.
One night while you were visiting your mom she brought up the people who lived a couple of houses down "the young man knocked on my door this morning, asking if I would or If i knew someone who can babysit his sister at night". The reason why she brought this up is because you were looking for a job, with being a college student you needed the money and nights were perfect since you only have three classes a week. "He's a cutie, he would be perfect for you" you mom called out as she walked into the other room "cute doesn't matter I just need a job".
It's been almost a month since you started watching abby. She was the best kid you have ever babysat for, and she loved you which made your job so much easier.
"Hey y/n, can I ask you a question" "what is it abs" you stopped coloring to look at her. "Will you marry Mike, so you can live here and I can see you everyday"
You were a bit taken back by the question, how did she know that you liked mike?. "I'm really flattered that you want to see me everyday, but I don't think your brother likes me like that" you flashed her a smile to ease the tension but she just shrugged her shoulders and went back to drawing.
Ever since you started watching abby you found yourself infatuated with Mike. He wasn't a very open person but for some reason mike would open up to you, your mom was right he was a cutie.
It was almost midnight until you heard keys jingle and the front door unlock. Mike threw his keys on the small table by the door before looking for you. "Hey I made peanut butter stir fry, do you want me to make you a plate" you asked while already making a B-line to the kitchen."oh no it's okay, I can get it myself you already do almost everything here" you turned to Mike grabbing his arm and pulling him to the table "oh please making a plate is not going to hurt me, now please sit down".
Mike sat down and watched you shuffle around the kitchen to make him some to eat. Mike would never admit to himself but he liked having you around, he loved that abby adored you, sometimes he thimks she likes you more than him. He really wouldn't know what he would do without you, you now became his reason to get up everyday, too look nice, and too be happy.
After mike ate he walked you to your car while talking to you "I get my paycheck tomorrow so would it be okay if you stopped by after class to pick it up?" "Yeah no problem I'll stop by around 6". You stod there justing looking into his eyes, even though Michael's face told a story of a hard life, his eyes showed compassion. You would be a fool to not fall in love with him.
Once you left, Mike got ready for bed. He took the pills he always takes, replayed the tape he always plays, and looked at the Nebraska poster he always falls asleep looking at, but something was different. You were the only thing he could think about before the sleeping pills kicked in.
His dream started out like it always does, his mom spills her coke and tells him to keep track of Garrett. As soon as he sees Garrett in the back of a strangers Cadillac he takes Chace after it. No matter how hard he runs, he can never catche up with the mysterious car.
Mike stops to put his hands on his knees and catches his breath. Giggling. He hears Giggling.
Mike looks back up to now see a field of grass. This wasn't his dream, this is different from his normal nightmares. There in the field stood a happy abby, laughing holding hands with a happier y/n. Mike feels his heart pick up speed.
"Mike!" Abby ran towards her big brother with open arms. Mike catches his sister while y/n walked twords the two of them. He flashes a smile in y/n's direction "I've missed you mike", you kiss his cheak and hug the siblings tight . If he didn't known that this was a dream he would have thought that he died and went to heaven.
"Mike Wake up, I'm hungry". Abby jumps up and down on her brothers bed until she hears him grown,"okay okay abby give me a minute". He stands up and makes his way to the bathroom while abby returns back to the living room where she watches her cartoons and color.
Once mike sets abbys plate in front of her she immediately digs in. "Abby would you be okay if I started to date someone?", the young girl replies without even thinking about it "only if its y/n, she likes you". Mike looked at his sister shocked "well who else would it be, because I like her too" he says trying to play it like he knew this whole time.
It was almost 8 when you entered the house and abby ran up to give you a hug. "Hey hun I'm sorry my class ran later, I tried to call but no one answered" Mike came out of abbys bedroom with a relieved yet anxious look on his face. "Abby go to your room, I need to talk to y/n about grown up stuff" she looks at you with big eye to try to get you to let her stay "it will only take one minute, I'll come in there to say goodnight before I go".
Abby walked to her room with a sad and betrayed face. "Um here's you're payment, you'll be here tomorrow right" "Yeah, couldn't miss it for the world.".There it was, your smile. Oh how he couldn't wait any longer once he seen your million dollar smile.
"I know this might be sudden and very out of line, but could we maybe go out sometime"
You were surprised. "Yeah that sounds great, I would love to" you were stumbling over your words a little bit from being flustered. You two stood there with awkward smiles on your face, if you weren't in his house you would have been screaming from happiness.
"I better go say goodnight to abby before I go it's getting late" you stepped closer to Mike to get to the bedroom. "Y/n '' before you could respond to him, he placed his hand on the back of your ear and placed his lips upon yours.
It felt like a thousand minutes passed by in those five seconds, and you didn't want it to end. It wouldn't have ended if a certain someone spoke up.
"Yay I was right, y/n does like you mike!"

merman steve pt 2
a continuation of this for @spectrum-spectre, now with some pre-steddie~!
Henderson is skulking around in the cereal aisle when Eddie spots him.
The kid has been a bit of enigma to Eddie since he met him at the beginning of last fall semester. Dustin had a tight group of friends, but often times, he caught the gang of them sans Henderson and the fact seemed to annoy the hell out of them.
"He just goes off on on his own sometimes," Baby Beyers would say.
"He won't tell anyone where or why or with who," Mini Wheeler would snarl.
"And it's definitely not to talk to his girlfriend, because we hear ALL about that," Big Sinclair would sigh, rolling his eyes.
So catching kid creeping around the grocery store minus the rest of his party, after hearing many complains of his mysterious disappearances? Color Eddie intrigued.
"Hendersooon," Eddie sang, wrapping an arm around Dustin's neck to keep him from escaping. "Whatcha doing?"
"Eddie!" he said brightly, grinning at him. "Just buying some snacks. Hey, which cereal do you think a fish can eat?"
Eddie stares at him for a moment, blinking. "Uh..."
Henderson's face scrunches up. "I guess he's not really a fish though, so I'll try whatever." He grabs a box of Honey Combs from the shelf.
"Dude, are you keeping a sea turtle at your house again? You know that's illegal."
"No!" Henderson snaps, flushing. "And I was going to take Dart back after show and tell, I had already promised Steve!"
"Steve?" That was a new name. Eddie hadn't heard Henderson talk about a Steve before, and the guy was kind of a motormouth and a terrible liar. The only time Eddie had seen him actually avoid a topic was when his little disappearing acts were brought up. "Who's Steve?"
Henderson's eyes go comically wide. "No-one! I don't know any Steves!"
Eddie knew at least three Steves, and two were in Henderson's grade. "Uh-huh."
"Anyways," Dustin says, clutching the box of Honey Combs to his chest as he backs down the aisle. "I gotta go man, nice seeing you, bye!"
Bemused, Eddie watches him go. He's planning to give Henderson a five minute head start before he goes to tail him, but apparently, he needn't to have planned a stake out after all. Henderson finds him again, two aisles over, panting and red-faced.
"Actually, can you give me a ride?"
🧜‍♂️
"Eddie," Henderson says, voice even more serious and deadly than the time the party took on Vecna last month during their campaign. "I need you to swear that you will never, ever tell anyone about what I'm going to show you."
Eddie cocks a brow at him. "Is this a drugs thing? Dude, you—"
"No!" Henderson snaps. "This is not a drug thing! This is a very serious life and death thing, and I need you to swear on you life you won't tell anyone about it."
"Dude," Eddie says, a little in awe. He stares out his windshield for a moment where they're still parked just outside of town. He can hear sounds of the ocean just past the ridge, waves crashing on the cliffs. It's a remote little area, opposite of the tourist favored beaches. Eddie, in fact, deals just a few miles down the shoreline from here. "Did you bring me out here to kill me? Are you the world's dorkiest serial killer?"
"Eddie." Eddie turns to look at him. His face is grave, brows furrowed with real worry. "I'm serious."
"Okay... Okay, then."
"You have to swear."
"I swear."
And just like that, Henderson's face breaks into a bright smile. "I knew I could trust you!" he crows, grabbing up his bag from the store and kicking open his door.
Eddie stumbles out of his van after him, listening intently as they pick their way over the rocks.
"He's so cool, Eddie, you're going to love him. He totally saved my life when I was like ten and I got pulled out on a rip tide. Like, I really almost died dude and then he just swims up out of no where and helps me catch my breath. Helps me float there while I'm freaking out too until the life guard finally came out to get me. It was crazy! I come out here all the time to visit him, I think he gets a little lonely. So it's good you're here, I've been trying to think of someone else to introduce him to, but it's hard to figure out who's going to freak out and try to sell him to Sea World, or something."
They crest over the hill to a tiny little cove bitten out of the rocky shore, and carefully begin to make their way back down to the water's edge. Eddie's still not entirely sure Henderson hasn't brought him here to die. Maybe Steve is the serial killer and he uses Henderson as bait.
"Okay, okay," Dustin says, once they reach the water. It's calmer here, the cliffs cutting this spot off from the larger waves. "Are you ready to see the coolest thing EVER?"
"Uh, sure, kid—"
Eddie doesn't get the chance to finish his sentence when he starts yelling.
"STEVE THIS IS EDDIE I BROUGHT HIM TO MEET YOU I PROMISE IT'S SAFE!"
"Jesus Christ," Eddie hisses, covering his ears. The lungs on this kid! "What the fuck dude— WHAT THE FUCK!!"
Because when he looks down, there is a face in the water. Eddie falls back on his ass, uncaring of the water soaking his jeans, and screams when the face in the water rises up out the ocean.
It looks pissed.
"Dustin," it says, glaring at Eddie. Eddie screams again, because it—the guy—the mermaid lifts himself fully onto the rocks, and he doesn't have any legs. Because he has a fucking tail.
A fucking fish tail.
"Steve!" Dustin cheers. "You came out."
"You sure?" the goddamn mermaid asks, finally taking his piercing, alien eyes off of Eddie to look at him. "Sure it safe?"
"Absolutely," Dustin says hastily, crouching beside Eddie to put his hands on his shoulders. "Eddie just screams a lot, I promise you, he's totally safe."
"R-Right," Eddie says, because he does not want to be eaten. Maybe Dustin's been dragging unsuspecting victims here to feed his pet goddamn mermaid instead of a serial killer. "Totally safe, that's me."
Steve, the goddamn fucking mermaid, looks him up and down doubtfully, and it's terrifying having those eyes on him, unnaturally yellow surrounded by black. His face is distressingly human, nose and mouth and ears with a mop of dark hair on his head. He has these bright shimmering scales across his cheekbones that dot down his jaw and neck, iridescent and glimmering in the afternoon sun. Eddie can't bring himself to look down further, scared and enraptured all at once.
Steve is terrifying and beautiful to look at.
"Fine," says Steve and pushes himself gracefully back into the water, disappearing into the dark depths.
"What the fuck," Eddie breathes. He looks up at Dustin with wide eyes. "Dude, what the fuck."
Dustin just grins down at him. "Isn't he the coolest?!"

Tumblr media
“Damnit.” You muttered under your breath as a glob of chocolate frosting fell onto the previously clean kitchen counter. You swiped it up with your finger before sticking it in your mouth letting taste make you hum.
You glanced at the cake you had frosted. Well- could you even call it a cake at this point? It was a mound of chocolate frosting, cake and sprinkles that was sagging with every second you took staring at it.
You let out a sigh. You wanted tonight to be perfect. It was your boyfriend, Tom’s, birthday today and the stress of getting everything just right was finally settling in.
You had been running around all day, getting his gift ready, making a spaghetti dinner, and getting the mood of the apartment set. The cake - which of course you had put off till last minute- was the last step, and looking at the blob of chocolaty goodness you realized maybe you weren’t the best baker.
You hadn’t used your time to your advantage and thought ‘Hey what could happen?’ while slathering frosting on a still- warm cake. Apparently a lot could happen, and now with sugary counters and messy hands you realized maybe you didn’t do this whole ‘cake thing’ the right way.
You glanced at the clock. Tom had mentioned he’d be home at 6. You blink at the glowing 5:45 then turn back to your pitiful excuse of a cake.
“Maybe I can fix it.” You murmur, taking a knife to smooth out the globs of frosting. The cake does not cooperate in the way you wanted as the frosting begins to tear the cake underneath. You hold your breath as you try to salvage the most of it.
Almost as if on cue, the front door slams shut the sound of keys being thrown into a little tray meets your ears
“Love I’m home!” Tom calls. You hear his footsteps start to make their way down the hall towards the kitchen and you quickly wipe your cake covered hands on your apron to rush and meet him.
“Tom hey..” You said breathlessly, stopping him so he couldn’t enter the kitchen. Tom’s lips pulled into an amused smile, seeing how you were basically blocking him from seeing the mess you’d made.
“Love, have you been baking?” He asks, taking a hand to touch your face. “There’s flour on your nose.” He taps your nose playfully with a smirk.
Heat floods your face as you let out an embarrassed laugh. “Yea- I- attempted to.”
Even after dating him for months, Tom still had the power to make you flustered. A single brush of his hand and you forget everything you’ve ever known.
Tom’s eyebrow quirked upwards as he looked at you. “Attempted?” He chucked, a lopsided grin melting onto his face.
You let out a deep sigh and pinch the bridge of your nose. “I’ve been working all day on this dinner for you and I just can’t get the cake right. I’ve definitely learned I’m not a baker. I’m sorry Tom.”
Tom’s face lit up. “Dinner-?” He was not expecting this surprise.
Then, realizing you were a bit upset he instantly grabbed your hands, while his brows furrowed with concern. “Woah woah- hey. Why are you apologizing?”
You looked up at him and frowned. “I wanted tonight to be perfect.”
Tom shook his head and let out a small chuckle. “Love you know anything you’d have done would’ve been perfect. I didn’t even expect you to surprise me with dinner. And so what if the cakes not perfect? At least you are.” He added.
You felt a smile slowly creep into your face as he leaned in closer. “I’m so happy you’ve done this for me. You didn’t even have to.”
You leaned in to give him a quick kiss, your cheeks flushing with color at his words. “I wanted to. And, Thank you Tom.” You whispered.
Tom gives you another lopsided grin and squeezes your hand. “Well let’s eat shall we?”
Tumblr media
The table was set with delicate silverware and flickering candles that made everything surrounding them almost magical. You had bought fresh roses and placed them on the table. You weren’t scared of making things special extra tonight.
You both sat across from each other, sipping wine, eating spaghetti and meatballs. Conversation was light and fun, jokes, stories, a little bit of flirtation. Everything was indeed perfect.
“God y/n-“ Tom said in awe once you had both finished your meals. “You’ve outdone yourself. Thank you.”
“Anything for the birthday boy.” You giggled, earning a chuckle from your boyfriend.
Tom smiled at you. “Though- If you sat me down with a case of beers and takeout I would still be extremely thrilled.”
You blushed at his words then giggled. “Noted for next year.”
You then stood up and smiled down at him, excitement in your eyes. “Now. One more thing before we eat cake.”
“Oh?” Tom questioned, his eyebrows raised with surprise as well as intrigue.
“Stay here for a moment.” You directed before hurriedly walking to your room to fetch his gift.
After a moment, you returned to the dining table with a pink card in your hands. You handed it to him thoughtfully. “Happy birthday Tom.” You beam, sitting down to watch him open it.
His eyes linger on you for a moment before tearing into the envelope. He pulled out a folded slip of paper and opened it, a puzzled look on his face.
Then his jaw dropped. His face lit up with happiness as he looked up at you, still in shock. “Y/n… you didn’t.” He said in awe, shaking his head.
You bit your lip and nodded excitedly. You had bought him tickets to go to the Super Bowl. Tom had always wanted to experience seeing the game played right before his own eyes, and now he would be able to.
Immediately, Tom stood up and rushed over to you, pulling you up from your chair and into a tight hug.
“I’m guessing this is a thank you?” You teased, wrapping your arms around his neck.
Tom looked down at you, still grinning widely. “I don’t know how else to say thank you. I love you so much darling.” He said breathlessly, kissing your forehead.
“I hope this was a good birthday.” You said sweetly, playing with the curls at the nape of his neck.
“The best. You're amazing.” He said kissing you again, but this time finding your lips against his.
“How about we finish this night by eating my horribly misshapen cake and watching movies?” You laugh against his lips.
Tom lets out a tiny chuckle. “Sounds perfect.”
“Happy Birthday Tom.” You say again, kissing him one more time.

You help Eijiro dye his hair.
1,300 words~
Tumblr media
You were finishing up your dinner and walking over to place your dishes in the kitchen when you passed Eijiro. He was adjusting the band tied around his head looking slightly self-conscious. Eijiro only wore a band around his head when his roots started to show.
You set down your tray and passed behind him being careful to whisper so no one else could hear.
"Do you want help with your hair tonight, Kirishima?" You said softly.
Eijiro turned around surprised and smiled.
"Yeah, that would be great!" He answered.
For some reason, he still wanted to keep it a secret that his true hair color wasn't red. You were the only one to know, and being a good friend you offered to help dye his hair whenever his dark roots started to show. Eijiro would never tell you when he needed help though he always waited for you to offer. No matter how many times you told him it wasn't a bother.
After everyone had gone into their respective dorms, you found yourself in the familiar place of helping Eijiro wash out his hair. This had become a routine that occurred about once a month. You'd bleach his roots, then slather them in whatever cheap red dye you both got your hands on. The two of you had the usual awkward conversation in his dorm while you waited for the dye to set.
Your fingers grazed his scalp as you pressed his head under the water and ran your fingers through his hair washing out the excess dye. For a moment you lost yourself in the useless conversation you were having while waiting for the dye. Why did you never know what to say to him? It came so easy in conversations with others but something about Eijiro always made you lose your usual cool demeanor.
"Hey, careful man, you're gonna drown me," Eijiro said under the faucet water.
"Oh sorry!" You responded, your stomach sinking. You knew Eijiro used the term man for almost anyone. It was meant to be an endearing term, but every time he called you it you couldn't help but wonder if that meant he saw you as purely a friend and not someone he'd be romantically interested in.
You turned the sink off having got off all the excess dye you needed to.
"Here," you handed Eijiro a towel.
"Thanks," he said, eyes half closed from the water causing him to grab more of your hand than he needed to when he reached for the towel.
A slight blush arrived on your cheeks due to his touch. Thankfully, Eijiro had his whole head under a towel and hadn't noticed. You left him in the bathroom and went to sit on his bed.
As he walked out of the bathroom removing the towel he saw you take a long yawn. You started dying his hair later than usual today. Everyone was pretty rowdy and it took them longer to clear out of the common room. Making it harder for you to sneak up into Eijiro's room.
"Oh-," He exclaimed, after seeing you sitting on the bed.
"Sorry, I'll go right now just needed to rest my feet for a second," You answered, taking his exclamation as a surprise for you still being in his room.
"No man, that's ok take as long as you need," He said, sitting down on the bed a few feet away from you as he continued to dry part of his hair.
You looked over and watched as he rubbed the towel through his hair. He peeked out from the towel revealing the left side of his face and noticed you watching him. That's when you noticed some red on his face.
"Oh, I'm sorry I think I got dye on your face this time," You said, reaching out to rub the red off of his left cheek.
Eijiro's eyes widened as he watched helplessly as you rubbed his cheek with your finger. Biting his lip and shivering slightly he seemed just like a deer lost in the headlights.
"Hu- it's being kind of stubborn," You laughed, not being able to remove the redness. Eijiro removed the towel from his head, uncovering his whole face. That's when you noticed it wasn't dye on his cheek. Both of his cheeks were beet red. He was blushing.
"Oh-," You exclaimed feeling embarrassed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable," You said, averting your gaze from him.
"No no it's fine-, It's just you sitting on my bed is a bit much ya know?" He laughed nervously.
"Right!" You stood up instantly not understanding what he meant. Eijiro was clearly flustered at having an attractive person on his bed but you interrupted his statement as meaning you overstepped your boundary. "I'm so sorry I'll go now!" You said hurriedly.
"No no! It's not like that. Sorry, I guess I didn't explain right," He laughed rubbing the back of his neck.
You looked up at him completely confused now.
"It's just you know- you're really hot and well having you here is always a bit overwhelming. Especially, walking out of the bathroom and seeing you sitting on my bed," He confessed, his cheeks flushing even more.
"Oh!" You said, finally understanding.
"Not that I was thinking anything disrespectful or anything! Promise I'm not trying to be a creep!" He explained, hurriedly feeling nervous about his confession.
You couldn't help but giggle at his explanation and obvious nervousness. It helped you to relax on your own not feeling so off put by him now. You sat back down on the bed but this time right next to him. "That's ok Kirishima! If we're being honest I think you're um- hot too," You laughed nervously, looking away from him, finding it too hard to watch his expression.
"What really? Are you being serious? You of all people think that?? No way! You're messing with me aren't you," He said.
"Hu?" You looked at him confused. "Why would I be messing with you?"
"Well... It's just you're amazing. You make everything look so easy. Like nothing is a challenge to you, nothing seems to discourage you. I... I admire that a lot and I've well... even taken a lot of inspiration from you. So hearing you think that about me... well it doesn't feel real..." He said, looking down, arms resting on his knees.
"Kirishima," you said, causing him to look up at you with widened eyes. "You're amazing yourself you know? You always stay so positive and never let setbacks get to you. You always show up ready to take on whatever. Plus you're like the sweetest boy I've ever met," You said, smiling at him.
"Wow, you really mean that don't you?" He said, finally accepting your confession to be true.
"Of course I do, I've admired you for a long time you know. And, I always look forward to being able to help with your hair. It's like the only alone time I get with you," You said, blushing slightly again.
"Yeah, I like it too, and it feels really good when you touch my hair," He covered his mouth instantly. "Sorry that sounded totally creepy didn't it!" He spoke, becoming flustered.
You giggled at his full honesty, "No, that was so cute," You said running your fingers through his hair causing his whole face to turn red once more. He turned to face you, eyes looking completely endearing as if it was the first time he was able to look at you the way he truly wanted to.
"Do you um..." You cut off feeling paralyzed by the pure sweetness in his eyes.
"Yeah...?" He mumbled, still watching you like a love-sick puppy.
"Do you want to kiss me?" You asked.
"I uh- umm... yeah I.-," Eijiro turned into a complete, bumbling mess unable to get a single word out.
Realizing you'd have to make the first move, you leaned in and gently pressed your lips to his, causing his rambling to instantly stop. He stayed frozen completely overwhelmed by the moment.
You pulled away slowly, both of you having deep blushes that mirrored each other.
"Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then," You said, trying to stay cool but feeling completely overwhelmed with happiness.
"Uh yeah, see you tomorrow," he said softly, as a dumb grin spread across his face.

heelooososo requesting a lando x reader when she is going on a road trip with him and gets car sick requesting this as I’m sitting in the car and I feel like dying😭😭 thanku!!!!!
Heyy! You should really try ginger to ease motion sickness. That always helps me. Anything with ginger in it, really. Tea, too. Anyways, hope you enjoy!
Getting car sick — LN4
He planned a nice car trip, but you get motion sickness — Lando Norris x f!reader, comfort (honestly just Lando being an angel), no use of y/n word count: 930
The French Riviera really was as beautiful as everyone said. You'd gotten to experience that beauty first hand for the past few months since you moved down to Monaco with Lando. He'd moved there last year already while you were still back in London and tied down to your workplace, but after a lot of negotiations with your boss, you were finally able to work completely from home instead of having to come into the office every day.
Life was nice down here in the South of France. The sun was almost always out, it was always a nice temperature all year around and you were close to the sea. It was pretty much perfect, really, and your French was just getting better and better every day.
Last week Lando had the idea to just book you two a nice weekend getaway in a town down the coast about 30 minutes from Marseille. He didn't have a race this weekend and you two would be able to just relax as a couple after he'd been away a lot recently. To your dismay that also meant getting kicked out of bed at eight in the morning in order to hopefully avoid a bit of the traffic, tourists coming down from the north for their holidays would cause. You'd always loved the idea of road trips, but there was just one downside— you were prone to motion sickness and that was not a fun thing.
As the car sped along the motorway, winding its way through a beautiful mountain landscape, you sat in the passenger seat, your knuckles white as you clung to your seat. Your eyes were closed tightly, and your face a grimace of discomfort. Despite having taken preventative measures like focusing on a fixed point on the horizon and your breathing, you could feel the nauseating sensation of motion sickness creeping up on you like a predator about to overwhelm its prey.
"Lando," you mumbled not even halfway into the two and a half hour journey, swallowing hard. "I think... I think I'm going to be sick."
Lando glanced over at you, concern etching lines into his forehead. He knew you were prone to getting car sick on long rides, but had hoped you wouldn't today.
"Hey, it's okay," he said, his voice soothing as he gently took your hand, keeping the other one on the steering wheel. "Just take slow, deep breaths. There's a gas station in a few kilometres. I'll pull over there and you can get some fresh air, okay?"
You took his advice, focusing on the rhythm of your breathing. Then he pulled the car off the road after a few more minutes and found an empty spot to park in before turning off the engine. He reached over and placed a comforting hand on your back, rubbing gently, then dug into your travel bag on the backseat, pulling out a bottle of water and a pack of ginger chews, known to help with nausea. He handed them to you with a sympathetic smile, and you gratefully accepted, taking small sips of water and nibbling on the chews.
You sat there in silence for a while, the only sound being the chirping of the cicadas outside and the rustling of the surrounding pine trees through the windows Lando had opened so you could get some fresh air.
As color gradually returned to your face you released a soft sigh of relief. A small, grateful smile spread across your face as you turned to your boyfriend who'd been watching you with worried eyes as his thumb rubbed gentle circles into your palm. "I think I'm okay now," you murmured, you voice much steadier than before when you'd felt like an elephant was sitting on your chest.
Lando returned your smile, relief washing over him. He gave your hand a reassuring squeeze before speaking up.
"Do you maybe wanna take a quick walk or should we get going again?" he asked softly, nodding towards the parking lot surrounded by trees. You shook your head no. You'd be fine.
He restarted the engine, taking extra care to drive at a slower pace this time. The car eased back onto the road, the journey resuming with a newfound calmness.
You continued to snack on the ginger chews, now realizing their effectiveness. Every now and then, you'd take small sips from the water bottle, keeping your nausea at bay. The combination of these remedies and the slower speed of the car seemed to help manage your motion sickness better.
You two continued your journey through the winding road for about another one and a half hours, the scenery outside the window calming and serene. The sun was still high in the sky, casting a warm glow on top of the mountains and the sparse trees and bushes adorning them. Tranquility enveloped the car, the only sounds being the soft tunes from the radio and Lando's gentle humming.
As you drove further, your discomfort became a distant memory. You found yourself almost relaxing, leaning back into your seat and actually kind of enjoying the scenic beauty unfolding before your eyes. This road trip, despite its minor setback, was turning out to be quite the nice trip Lando had planned.
Your boyfriend, noticing your relaxed demeanor, smiled to himself. Even with the earlier episode of sudden motion sickness, he was glad he'd planned this trip. The South of France was breathtaking, and being able to share this life with his wonderful girl was something he wouldn't trade for anything.

The Challenge- Ch. 7
An- hey. (drops random half edited chapter that’s probably the shortest one i’ve ever written) see ya🚶🏾‍♀️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A total of two months, three and a half weeks and six days.
That was how long you had been MIA. Each time another day was added to that count, you grew more restless than before. You wanted to go home, to sleep in your bed, eat american food, damnit just to have a different color shirt to wear.
And yet you were still stuck here.
Each day started off the same. You would wake up at the ass crack of dawn, eat something akin to breakfast with Nikolai and wait to see if today was the day you were going back. Instead, he would silently place a knife on the table— some days it was different— and walk out of the room. The same routine, every day. for the past two months.
It was enough to drive any normal person insane. and it had almost driven you insane, definitely would have if you weren’t in the military.
You had managed to work up the courage to ask why he didn’t immediately send you back one day, why he tolerated you staying with him for this long.
“If i send you back they do things different. Look at you oddly, treat you weirder. Here you can rest, regain your skills.” He had said, not pausing to spare you a glance.
“I take you back when you ready.”
according to him, you had not been ready in a long time.
you never really gave up hope. Not actually, you knew logically at some point he had to bring you back to them. And going back on your own was a suicide mission, one even worse than the thing that had gotten you into this mess. So you waited.
If it took five months or seven years, you would wait.
Tumblr media
Kate Laswell was a woman of action.
She knew this for a fact, it had been thrown back into her face so many times she lost body parts to count it. Which is why your disappearance bothered her so much. You were a person of action as well, it’s what prompted her to introduce you to the 141. So then why had you been MIA for the past three months? The thought sat there constantly, turning even the best days sour.
That, and what you were doing to the team.
It didn’t take a genius to figure it out, although you did have to look a bit harder to see the changes. Especially in people like Ghost and Price, whereas Kyle and Soap might as well have worn their emotions on their sleeves. She wished she could do something to help, to find where exactly you were. Or if you were alive, even.
All given evidence suggested otherwise.
She had replayed the shitty camera footage of your disappearance, watched it frame by frame, pixel by pixel. Mutiple times, and she couldn’t figure out how there could be a way for you to get out of there. It just wouldn’t have added up.
But she didn’t give up there, of course she wouldn’t.
She kept searching, looking for any sign of you. As a civilian, one of the russian’s captives, anyone. anything could come into play, you were a smart girl and everyone knew it.
Unfortunately, that also meant you could cover up your tracks well.
It took another month for anything good to come up. And that something good came as salvation always does.
In the form of a call.
Tumblr media
John had made an attempt to push the situation out of his mind, to allow you to handle your own business. His thoughts screamed at him to be more active, to do something more, but there was literally nothing for it.
Or so he thought.
The call came in while he was walking out of a meeting, silently dreading the mound of paperwork he would now have to do. When he saw the caller ID he had to do a double take, and he rushed to answer the call.
“Nik?”
“Captain. It’s been a while, no?”
“Damn right it has. Makes me scared.”
His old friend laughed, and Price could imagine the way he was shaking his head.
“Yes, yes. But i have gift—what? okay, okay sheesh. I have… surprise… for you.”
Price just stared. “Is there someone else there? What’s goin on Nik?”
There was silence on the other end of the line, then a lot of rusting.
“Um. Hey.”
Price almost dropped the phone.
Tumblr media
The process of getting you back wasn’t as hard as they thought it would be, but it certainly took a very long time.
In reality it took two weeks. But to them each day felt like a decade.
The entire flight took 11 hours, and they weren’t allowed to meet you halfway (something about using military vehicles for non military purposes. all four boys thought that was absolute bull shit but they couldn’t do anything about it) So they did the next best thing.
wait.
And they waited. and waited. Each time a chopper landed on the helipad they were rushing to the window, seeing if it was you. It got to the point that they had someone constantly surveying that area of the base, just so they could be immediately notified.
And finally, finally you were back.
It was a whole ordeal, theatrics that even soap had to roll his eyes at. The moment you got off the plane you were swamped with people asking questions, doctors trying to assess how you were alive and unharmed, people just staring in awe.
But you ignored them all, scanning the crowd with a panicked expression. It didn’t disappear till you saw the four of them, standing far, far away from the mob of people surrounding you.
Nik walked out behind you, placing a steadying hand on your shoulder. The two of you made your way down the ramp to the group, and Price smiled for the first time in a long time when he saw you.
“Welcome back, kid.”
this was gona be an akward chapter anyways, i had NO idea how to write the reader's return. I'll make it up to you guys next time, pinkie promise

Note || Knuckles: note to self, be absolutely blunt and clear next time.

Tumblr media
Normally he isn’t one for romance, as he himself is unusually oblivious to such things. But overtime, he improved, got better with it. So much as to know that he had feelings for you, Knuckles didn’t know whether to be happy or just plain irritated that every time he made an attempt to talk to you and confirm his feelings for you: you were dense as bricks.
Not at all did you understand what he was trying to say, and that was what caught him off guard the most. Even other times the two of you were interrupted by Sonic, Rouge, or even some other force of nature. Which he beats himself up alot for everytime he builds up the courage to admit his feelings to you, clear as day. So he stopped trying to make the attempt to do so, fine with the idea of admiring you from afar.
As much as he hated it, but it was obstinate and clear. Knuckles probably weren't meant for you, and you weren’t meant for him.
“Hey Knux!” You said, holding up what appeared to be pink and edible, balled into a round sphere. “These are so good you gotta try one!”
Knuckles flinched, red burning at his cheeks when you had gotten close to him. Once he cools down, he responds, “Mmh,” He sighs, crossing his arms. “What is that?” He asked, clearly confused what that edible in your hand was. You waved it again, then took another bite as you let out a content sigh.
“It's mochi! Super yummy stuff.” You said after you downed your bite, you held out a second one – which was colored in purple. “C’mon, I got a grape-flavored one for ya.” You grin with an air of your usual bright personality. Knuckles couldn’t help but merely let out a chuckle, but he loved grapes, he took the bait. Not so much the bait, but you wanted him to try one. Taking a bite, his eyes shone with a brightness you only ever rarely see once in a while.
“Told ya!”
He is so in-love with you it hurts, but he doesn’t mind it at all. So long as he can keep seeing you often then not without fail. Knuckles is completely enamored with every aspect of yourself, your personality most of all and your tenacity to keep going forward and braving danger regardless of whether or not you were scared.
Knuckles has a tendency to pick you up and hug you real hard–well not so hard–he never usually wants to let you go. But he respects your boundaries, but to his surprise, you ask him to keep hugging you as you mentioned that you practically were really cold.
You always seemed to see right through his tough facade half the time, other times you couldn’t which he breathed a sigh of relief about. Knuckles really didn’t expect you to care that much for him, which leads him to questioning whether or not you actually do have feelings for him as he has feelings for you. Your behavior a lot of the time  had concerned him or otherwise coerced him into a place of thinking if you did reciprocate his feelings which he had tried very hard to hide.
It was Sonic who had seen the obvious romantic tension between the two of you to which he finally decided to give your relationship a little nudge, telling you Knuckles has feelings for you.
“Yeah uh, he likes, likes you.” He says, slurring out the word to properly enunciate the weight in his words. Sonic watched as your face fell into a place of thinking, clearly very hard to process what he had meant about Knuckles. Your face after a few minutes finally began to light up in recognition, seeing what it was now. Now you finally understood why he behaved so weirdly these past few months.
“He has feelings… for me?” You say, almost hesitant to realize this was actually true. Sonic nods, eyes widening with a hint of happiness that you actually know the truth, he couldn’t stand watching the two of you beat around the bush like that. More over with Knuckles, cause Sonic was fully aware of the fact of how you can be – oblivious – denser than most mobians here on Mobius itself.
“TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!” Sonic shouts, elated that it truly set in for you.

Scaramouche's "training"
🍄Scaramouche x AMAB reader
🍄 SMUT, MDNI
🍄Warnings: no pronouns for the reader, Scara sucking a dildo, ejaculating toy, size king, dumbification, corruption kink
Tumblr media
It was his own idea after embarrassing situation that took place few months ago.
It was his first time he triying to suck you off. He was absolutely terrible. He was a centuries old virgin even thought, he tried to deny it with all his might. Poor thing almost passed out first time he saw you naked. Playing a tough guy, he went down his knees, wanting show off how good he was. Immediately he tried shoving it whole down his throat which, of course, ended badly.
He slightly scratched you with his teeth while he fell backwards on the floor, red faced, in a coughting fit.
You teased him endlessly because of it. You jokingly said how could train him. Well, he ended up taking you up for it.
You started by buying dildos of diffrent sizes.
Starting small about 3.5 inches. The start was the hardest. Usually ending with him choking and pulling back half-way through. But gradually he became way better after following your instructions. He started using his tounge, bobbing his head faster and more rhythmically. After he grasped the basics it was time to move on bigger toys.
Another two went smoother. He still struggled, sure, but he was getting used to them faster.
Now it was his first time with a cock on bigger side. Slurping and gagging sounds could be heard across the room.
You were watching Scara struggle to take big monster dildo up his throat. It was purple, his favorite color. All kinds of bumps and ridges decorated it. You thought that regular ones were getting kind of boring so you changed things up a little
"Hey, have you forgotten? Eyes on me"
You wanted him to make constant eye contact while he sucked it. It was bringing you such joy, watching him strugge to keep his eyes opened and focused on you
You always asked him to wear make up for your little training. Watching his red lipstick get smuged, mascara running down his cheeks was a a sight to see
Moans were getting louder. Seems he was enjoying it a little too much. You could see a wet patch forming in his shorts. At first you thought he just wanted impress you but he really was turning into whore who loved cock down his throat. You smirked as watched how stupid he looked right now. Hazy, unfocused look in his eyes. Black tears running down his flushed cheeks down to his sloppy lips. He drooled all over himself and the toy. You decided to suprise him a little
You pressed a button on small remote you hidden in your pocket. Scaramouche's eyes shot up as he felt thick liquid go down his throat. It immediately bubbled out of the corners of his lips, some of it even leaked out his nose.
He stayed still, shocked and wide eyed, swallowing whatever the dildo had to give him.
He looked frozen in place for a while. You got called out to him and when he didn't respond, annoyed, you went up to him and pulled up his head by his hair. His lips slipped out of the toy with a pop, serval strings of saliva still connecting him to the toy. You were met with dazed weak smile. His eyes seemed to display pure ectasy
Looks like you trained your slut well

After a full four weeks at The Beef, you had realized a couple of valuable lessons. Subs and sandwiches were not the same, and Richie had a very strong opinion about the “uncultured jackasses” that confused them, Tina was nicer than everyone gave her credit for (though it probably helped that both your mother and her had gone to the same high school together) and lastly; Carmy being a decent person would be more counter effective than you anticipated. Especially when you learned that your building was about four blocks away from his and that he drove Richie’s car, because the other had his license suspended for parking on a handicap spot while buying cigs.
It had been completely accidental and not at all your intention, but on your sixth day after closing and when your idiot brother had forgotten to pick you up, you naively thought it would be fine to walk thirty three minutes to get home. The L was not an option as the last time you had taken it, someone stole your access card and it would take at least a month to get a new one. So you and your uncomfortable platform sneakers were stuck for at least another half hour until you could make it home. Or so you thought.
Ten minutes after leaving The Beef, with your jacket zipped all the way up to avoid the harsh late March wind, you had fallen into a comfortable pace. You’d normally wear your headphones to tune out the city sounds, but it was almost 11pm and the fear of getting jumped was enough to keep you alerted of your surroundings. The last thing you needed right now was a shiv to the throat. However, for a Sunday night, the streets were livelier than you had expected. People congregated outside bars and the family owned pizzerias that remained open past midnight to feed the night owls, stoners and drunks. You admired the checkered table cloths they used and added the image to the folder in your mind under ‘shit to make the beef less sad’ as you made your way down the blocks.
As you reached the crosswalk and waited for your turn, a dusty black car slowed its pace then stopped fully beside you. You brazed yourself for the usual catcalls or hollering while you kept your head forward, though the sweaty hand around your strap gave another impression.
“Hey!” You heard from the car once the window was down and you did your best to hold your tongue and not tell the asshole to just fuck right off, but when you heard him call your name, this time you turned surprised.
Carmy sat staring up at you through the cracked window, right hand already pushing the passenger door open and waiting for you to get in. There was a slight frown on his brow as you stood motionless looking at him because he was the last person you expected to see and also holy fuck, did that blue jacket bring out the already magnificent color in his eyes. The sound of a horn blaring from behind you brought you back from the ridiculous turn your thoughts were taking and you cleared your throat climbing into the warm vehicle. He sat staring at your profile as you took your bag off and placed it between your feet on the car floor, then pushed your hair behind both ears to clear your face and smile towards him.
A small ‘Hey’ was thrown in his direction and the warmth in your skin subsided once his gaze was no longer resting on you.
“You weren’t planning on walking, were you?” He asked, concerned.
“Would it be so bad if I say yes?” You ask back a bit ashamed. “It’s not that far.” you try to justify, playing with your fingers.
He asked you where you lived and when you told him the location, the car stopped in its tracks almost comically, although it would have been if he hadn’t stared at you with such a bewildered expression.
“That’s like an hour by foot!” He scolded, putting the car back in motion and merging successfully into the main road.
“No, it's like.. thirty minutes at most!” You fought back. “Besides, it’s not like I do it daily, my fucking brother just forgot to pick me up tonight.”
“Your brother the carrot?” He asked, now smiling softly.
A breathy almost giggle left your mouth as you turned to him. “Yeah, the carrot.”
That’s when he told you that it was fine if you ever needed a ride back because he lived in the same area anyway. ‘You can ask for help, you know’ He said, ‘It’s better than putting yourself in danger’. And you could have just left it at that, your boss being a decent human being. But the warmth of the car, the lowness of his voice and the sweet humming of a folk song playing in the radio, had your head swimming with scenarios that grew too quickly for you to stop them, even though you knew you had to.
He dropped you at the door of your building with a ‘Goodnight.’ and ‘Sleep well’, and as you climbed every step towards the fifth floor, you were reminded of the unspoken rule you had with yourself: No in-work relationships. No dating coworkers. No messing around.
No matter how funny, how nice, how hot or how lost you could get in the pool in their eyes.
That’s how your routine came to be. At least until Richie got his license back, which you secretly hoped was not anytime soon. You’d finish closing up front, take your bag from the office and wait for Carmy out back until he was done scrubbing clean every surface of the stainless steel kitchen. Sometimes you’d wait inside too, disguising it behind wanting to  keep him company but in actuality you were just afraid someone would creep on you from the dark while alone outside. The car ride would consist of meaningless chatter on music, movies and on who won the prize to “Shitty customer of the day”, and on your way up home you’d repeat the same mantra for each step. As many times as it took for your beating heart to slow and for your skin to cool down before reaching your door.
***********
Carmy hated to admit it, even to himself, but it was evident from afar how accustomed he had become to your presence, enough that it affected him on your day off. It was ridiculous really, how off his game he was. Calling out wrong orders, oversalting the broth and even burning his hand with a metal handle he had forgotten over the fire. Tina snickered when she heard a ‘Fuck!’ behind her, followed by the clinging of metal falling to the ground.
“You good, Jeff?” She asked teasingly, looking over her shoulder at the chef running his hand under the faucet. “She’ll be back tomorrow, you know?”
He didn’t answer, he knew better than to do so because everything in that place could be used against him. She was right though, you’d be back tomorrow, you always were. On your first day off after being hired, he had spent the whole day doubting if you would be back the next, thinking about having to put the help wanted sign up again made his already unstable stomach worse. Then you showed up unexpectedly during the small break with a box of pastries you had made as a thank you for the team, each decorated with little edible flowers and colorful glossy coats. He had secretly snapped a picture of his, before biting into the heated crust, his stomach had welcomed the delicious warmth of food for the first time all day and the feeling followed him around during the rest of his shift.
On your third day off, you had brought your mother for dinner on a slow night. Your cheeks had gone up in flames when she let him know just how much you talked about the mouthwatering food served at The Beef and the wonderful people working there, before yelling something in spanish to Tina and leaving you both alone in comfortable silence.
“So you think our food’s delicious?” He asked with a teasing smile and bumping his shoulder against yours.  You stood side by side while watching the two older women catch up in the kitchen like a sort of family reunion. Carmy normally didn’t let strangers into his kitchen, he was protective like that, but strangely for you, he was glad to make an exception.
“Of course I do!” you said with an embarrassed laugh. “You’re a great cook, chef,” You said sincerely and his eyes shone brighter than ever under the fluorescent lights. “You’re just too busy noticing your own faults to see it.”
Your mother had called for you and a part of him was glad she did, because he did not know how he would have resisted leaning down into your soft lips after such a beautiful confession. They didn’t charge for dinner, and no matter who you tried to give the bill to, no one would take it. ‘Orders from the boss’ they’d say grinning, and when you turned to the office, you saw a messy head of golden hair hide behind the door frame.
Now on your fifth day off, he wondered if you’d show up. He allowed himself a bit of delusion as he ran his injured hand under the tap, and imagined you arriving in one of those flared high waisted jeans you liked to wear. He stared at his hand and thought of what it would feel like to caress your cheek with it, your soft skin against his calloused one, doe eyes staring lovingly up at his as he held you closely between his arms… Fuck, okay,no this is weird, he thought. He should not be thinking of you like this and if they had anything similar to an HR department, this would definitely be a violation of some sort. And that’s not even talking about the wild scenarios his mind would make up late at night when he couldn’t get any sleep.
Even though it was just in his mind and no one else could see inside his little fucked up brain, it was still wrong. Especially when he knew you couldn’t feel the same. You were just being nice, he’d remind himself. That’s who you were. And he was being a pervert and a terrible boss by assuming otherwise. He had to get his shit right and his priorities straight, saving the fucking Beef from ruin was the first. He had to leave his stupid lovesick scenarios for when he could finally give his tired body a rest.
He pulled himself out from the rubble of his thoughts, turned the water off and dried his hands on the white rag hanging from his surprisingly clean apron. Then he made his way back to the station and continued on dinner prep with the usual automated performance he had trained so hard to cultivate. This he knew, this was familiar and precise and gave no space for errors or misinterpretations. This was his. Him. No doubt, insecurity or fear of reciprocation. A vegetable was still a vegetable no matter how he felt towards it, and he still had to be your superior no matter how he felt towards you.
************
“I don’t know which one to get!” You hummed through the phone resting between your shoulder and cheek as your hands were busy comparing the very similar fabrics in front of you.
You hear Sydney groan exasperated through the line and you can clearly picture her rolling her eyes at you.
“Just pick whichever! It’s not like anyone will notice the difference anyway.” She answered, and you can hear a light buzz of noise from her side.
“I’ll notice.” You mumbled back.
In your defense and to your well color-trained eye, they were very different. While the design was the same, checkered style pattern with white, they both had negative spaces of different shades of blue, one slightly darker than the other. You were leaning towards the softer baby blue, but it wasn’t the right shade. It was the third craft store you visited and none seemed to carry the specific type of blue you were in search for. It was a stretch because you were sure that shade’s only purpose was to exist between tired eyelids and golden lashes, but you were too stubborn and you had to at least try to find something similar.
“I’m sure people will just be happy to not eat directly on the plastic tables. Bring the one you like best.” Syd said after a moment of silence.
“Ugh, I guess.” You finished, finally deciding on the baby blue material.
You walked around the art supply section and picked out the things you were there for originally, a few tubes of oil paints, paint sealant, a detailing brush and a new spatula were what you checked from your list. It wasn’t your intention to buy more than that, but the sight of the shiny fabric at the end of the aisle had you dialing Syd’s number and asking if she thought Carmy would mind if you bought things for the restaurant with your own  money. You were planning to anyway, but the reassurance was nice. ‘Anything that comes from you is okay with him’ she had said and a fuzzy feeling bloomed in your chest.
“We’re still on for drinks later, right?” She asked while you scanned everything through the self checkout.
“Yeah, I’m just gonna drop all this shit off today, go home and change and meet you outside after closing.” You mentally groaned at all the back and forth you’d have to do but it was better than carrying everything home then back to The Beef the next day.
Also, you had secretly taken a liking to dropping by unexpectedly to “say hi”. You were never the kind of person to go to your place of work on your off day, you never understood those people because, why be there six days of the week then go back on your off when you could literally go anywhere else? But The Beef had felt more like a home than a job ever had for you. It was warm and inviting, and you understood why there were so many regulars who still bought their daily sandwich after so many years. It felt nice to work for a place that was more for the people than the prestige. It was a breath of fresh air in a world surrounded by how ridiculous you could make a dish and still have it be considered food.
“You sure it’s not just cause you wanna see a certain broody someone?” Syd asked teasingly, pulling you from your thoughts.
You stayed silent on the line and that was enough of a confirmation for Sydney to burst into laughter from the other side.
You spat a ‘Shut up.’ and hung up on her mid laugh, cheeks ablaze.
After leaving the store, you walked the fifteen minutes to The Beef with your headphones on and carrying your bag of supplies in blissful peace. You liked days like these, the sun shining softly through the clouds, the air fresh and crisp and your heart light in your chest. The beat of the music coordinated with your steps on the sidewalk as you made your way through the industrial looking streets, letting your mind roam to its recent favorite topic of wild messy hair and freckle dusted skin. Syd’s words were still fresh in your mind, but also was the rule you had been repeating to yourself more than usual.
Each time he did something nice, you had to convince yourself that that’s just the way he was and to stop reading into something that wasn’t there. Every time you caught him looking was justified by him just spacing out and you being in the general direction of his gaze. The free dinner was him being kind, the rides home were him being decent and the sweet smiles as you crossed the kitchen towards the steward section were… Your doom, honestly.
Every time you made your way across with empty plates, even if it was only for a brief second, he snuck a peek from his bowed position over the expo, then smiled loosely back down. The first time you had caught his stare, you had carelessly dropped the dishes on Angel and into the muddy water then rushed out the back door because the space around you had become insufferably hot. The image had replayed like a broken record all day, rewinding in the exact moment his ocean eyes bore into yours like waves crashing against a rocky coast. It was criminal. And you would take to your grave how the memory had fueled the fire in your lower belly on the nights when you couldn’t get any sleep. Just remembering brought back the familiar ache between your thighs and you quickened your steps to relieve the sensation. Fucking hell, had it really been that long? It probably had been because you couldn’t remember the last time you got laid, or even been kissed for that matter. No wonder  you were so wound up over a simple look.
‘That's it’, you thought. ‘I’m just hormonal and it’s causing my stupid brain to confuse horniness with like. Nothing more’  So on the last block to The Beef you made up your mind: you were going to find a stranger to sleep with that night, then this whole Carmy situation would die down and you would see it with clear eyes for what it really was, Carmy just existing and you being a pervert for misinterpreting anything he did.
You took a deep breath as you pushed the glass door to find an empty restaurant and you assumed everyone was taking a well needed break in the back before the dinner rush. You pulled your headphones off and made your way into the familiar hallway that led from the front, past the walk in and into the office. Your plan was to drop the bag off and head right out, you'd see everyone after closing anyway, but just as you left everything by the foot of the crowded desk and turned to leave, a tall shadow standing by the door made you jump back startled.
“Jesus fuck, Carmy!” You yelled at him with a hand against your thumping chest. He stared at you with a contained smile and it was hard not to smile back. “Was that payback?!” You asked, still trying to control your breathing.
“For what?” He asked innocently and entered the small office space. In the reduced area, his broad shoulders looked bigger and the thumping in your ears was no longer from the fright. “What's that?” He asked, pointing to the bag you had discarded on the ground.
“Oh, um…” God, why are you so nervous? “It's just some stuff I got for the front. Tablecloths and napkins and… stuff.” You answered by playing with your hands. You didn’t want him to be upset even though Syd had assured you it would be fine.
He crouched down towards the bag and rummaged around inspecting the insides.
“I was planning on putting it on the tables in the dining area… I hope that’s okay?” You added after what felt like minutes of silence.
“No, that- that’s really nice of you. Thank you, chef.” He said, looking up at you.” You bought this with your own cash?”
“Yeah.. but it’s no problem, truly. I just really fuckin’ hate those Starbucks napkins.” You joked and he sniggered while straightening up.
He scanned you with amused brows and for the first time all day you felt self conscious of your choice in clothing, or lack of choice.
You had been home all day working on a panting in the makeshift studio you had created in your living room. Your grandfather had helped you set up an easel and some drawers near the windows with the most natural lighting as a fun hobby at sixteen, and almost ten years later, the space had become a sort of sanctuary during stressing times or just when you needed to clear your head. Half the house was now covered with your creations, mostly paintings, but also a few sculptures from that time you tried to experiment with clay and almost blew up your mother’s oven.
That morning, you had been working on a piece centered around a stormy sea and a boat adrift, headphones on and too far gone into your own head, when you realized you had squeezed out the last drop of teal paint from the little tube. You could have just mixed and matched until the shade was correct, but your back protested when you finally unhooked your left leg from under you and that was a loud enough sign that you needed to move from the uncomfortable wooden stool you had spent hours on. So without changing from the paint covered overalls, cliche sure but cute, you thought, you pulled your sneakers on then kissed your grandpa goodbye and closed the door behind you.
Now as you stood in front of Carmy, a baggy mess of dried colors, trying to rack your brain for an explanation, you noticed just how bad of an idea it had been. You felt like a kindergartener’s discarded art project, and fuck’s sake, the two space buns at the bottom of your neck were certainly not helping. You scratched the back of your head nervously, trying to avoid his teasing gaze, then rested your hand flat on the desk to turn fully towards him.
“I was painting, okay?” You mumbled and for a second you felt like a kid getting caught doing something bad. It also didn’t help that he was older than you and a dark part of your screwed up brain searched for his approval.
“I would hope so.” He answered between a breathy laugh.
It was an involuntary move from his part, down right impertinent. Something he would never do in a million years, especially to a woman while they stood alone in a closed space with less than a foot between their chests. But his hand was already half way up when he realized what his body was doing, his gaze too caught on the light strip of cyan paint above your brow to realize how your breath had gotten stuck in your throat and your pupils had swallowed your irises whole. His cold fingers feathered away the slight bangs that framed your face and as his skin made contact with yours for the very first time since you met, an electrified chill ran from the base of your neck, down through every nerve ending exposed to the air and causing bumps to rise along your skin. It was completely innocent, but the contrast in temperature, combined with the close proximity and the emotions you had tried to sweep under the rug, had your heart in a whirlpool dropping down to the depths of your stomach. The bubble of air in your throat didn’t know whether to go up or down, so you simply stayed still as he gently rubbed his forefinger against your temple. Your mouth felt dry and your eyebrows were screwed together in a mixture of angst and anticipation. You felt like a fox caught in the headlights, treading carefully around the hunter.
Your eyes drooped mindlessly to his parted lips and the voice in the back of your head whispered how easy it would be to stand on your toes and close the small distance separating you. The hand resting on the desk had curled around the edge and you knew your knuckles had turned white from the force of your grip. It felt like time had stopped altogether, only your echoing heartbeat was the telltale of the seconds passed. You dragged your eyes slowly back up his features until they stuck to the warm icy blue and you could feel his thumb unconsciously rubbing slow circles.
‘It would be so easy.’ you both thought.
His face was a whisper away, yet it felt like a dessert separated you from the only body of water you wanted to desperately bathe in. Just one swim wouldn’t hurt, right? No one would know it happened. A one and done situation. ‘Just to get you out my system.’ you thought. Or rather whispered.
“What?” Carmy mumbled confused.
Fuck.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
You pulled back, blinking rapidly to control the panic beginning to bubble in your veins. Fuck! You tried to settle your eyes anywhere except on him while you struggled to decipher what the actual hell you were going to let happen. From your peripheral vision, you could tell he was also disoriented by the way he pulled his hand down his face, stopping to cup his mouth with strength as if not trusting what could come out of it.
“I-I” Your voice sounded foreign, barely above a whisper. “I’m gonna go…um-” You swallowed the bubble of air and wrapped your arms around yourself with your eyes trained on the ground, trying to pass by Carmy without touching, as if the simple contact could sting your already sensitive skin.
He reached his hand towards you and called your name. “No- shit, wait I-”
“Hi, mija!” You heard and both of you instantly turned to where Tina stood by the door to the walk in.
She made her way to you and you tried your best to swallow the batch of tick saliva that comes before the bile and smiled. You pulled her into a hug and kissed her left cheek out of tradition.
“Hey, just came to drop off some things.” You spoke as nonchalantly as one can when you’re on the verge of a breakdown.
“Good, then you can save me the trip and give your mom this.” She said while handing you a small roll of five dollar bills. “It’s for the tanda. Tell her my number’s up next week, eh?” She caressed your cheek softly then turned to Carmy with a doubtful look. “You look like you saw a ghost.”
“I’ll give it to her.” You interrupted and threw the money without care inside your tote bag, turned to Carmy one last time, then marched through the hallway and out the glass door.
You didn’t stop until you knew you were at a distance safe enough to crash. You leaned against the bricks of a nearby flower shop and closed your eyes because, even though you had never fainted before, this felt very much how people describe it could feel. Your whole head was on the edge of explosion along with your ribcage and throat. Your mouth was dry and wet at the same time, and the simple feeling of saliva on your tongue was enough to have you gagging with your forehead against the wall.
“Okay, get your shit together.” You whispered to yourself between heavy sniffles.
Breathe. Hold. Release. Again. Breathe. Hold. Release. Again. With as much strength as you could manage, you pulled on the long sleeves of your shirt and wiped the trail of salty water beginning to slide past your cheeks. Breathe. The last thing you needed was to have a panic attack in the middle of the street, so even as your vision blurred at the edges and your chest heaved from the lack of air, you did your best to hail a cab. With the first strike of luck in the past ten minutes, a yellow car pulled by your side and you wasted no time in getting in. With little control left, you told him your address and as he drove in the direction of your house, the grimy restaurant street sign grew smaller in the rear view mirror and the single thread that kept your fumbling heart together finally tore.
You arrived home in a numbed state, your body felt drained after going through so many emotions in a short period of time and you were glad everyone was out because how could you explain the absolute shitshow you had stupidly put yourself through the last hour? You dragged your feet across the wooden floor of the hallway that led into the living room, dropped your bag over the island in the kitchen and headed straight into your bedroom. As soon as the soft fabric of the covers wrapped around you like a protective cocoon, the dam in your chest broke open and a nasty sob left your lips.
God, how could you ruin this so catastrophically?! How were you going to show your face at work after this? You could just imagine Carmy telling everyone how you had come onto him in his office and a new wave of tears rushed to your eyes. The first job you actually liked in years and you ruin it by almost kissing your fucking boss! ‘What the hell is wrong with me?!’
‘In our defense, he came onto us first’, the voice in your head tried to rationalize.
The intimate clip played back in your mind’s eye from a third’s perspective, like a movie scene you’ve watched a thousand times in the past half hour. ‘It can’t be completely my fault, right?’ You ask yourself, analyzing his expression through your memories. It had to mean something, you don’t just look at anyone like that.
“Fuck!” You yelled exasperated and rubbed the palm of your hands against your tired eyes.
You pulled your phone from your pocket and opened up Syd’s contact on the message app, ready to write an excuse as to why you needed to cancel. But as your fingers hovered over the keyboard, a part of your brain wondered if you really wanted to. It would make no use to brood in your own self pity for the rest of the day, and maybe the therapeutic process of getting ready to go out would help clear your head and let you see the situation in a better light. Also, you still had a plan to see through and after the day’s events, your skin had been left itching for contact, no matter where it came from.
So instead of canceling, you texted Sydney that you’d meet them at the bar instead, then spent the next ten minutes looking for a playlist that would inspire you for as long as your ritual would last.
**********
The hellscape of a day was finally over and Carmy had never been more grateful. After the last order had been served, he retreated into the office without a word to anyone and had been sitting staring at the same spot since. Thankfully no one knew what had him in such a distasteful mood and he was sure as hell that it was going to stay that way. They didn’t need to know how he had scared you away with his impulsive actions or that he was to blame if you stopped showing up without explanation. The team had barely started to respect him and knowing that he had borderline harassed everyone’s favorite waitress would have him catching a punch or two.
‘Just to get you out my system.’
Your voice repeated like an echo bouncing off the walls in his skull as he tried to make sense of the words, but no matter how many times he flipped them around and rearranged them, he still didn't know what they meant. Was he in your system? Was he really so dense, that he hadn’t noticed you felt something for him, or was he reading too much into an inexistent situation?
His fingers tingled at the memory of your soft warm skin against them, the way your eyebrows had knit together while you stared at him with the most wide eyes he had ever seen and how you had unconsciously parted your lips when your eyes flickered towards his. Fuck, he really was an idiot. You were probably the first woman he had looked at with such adoration and he had to go and screw it up with his lack of control and stupidness.
He layed back in his chair and ran his cold hands through his hair, eyes trained on the dimly lit ceiling above him. An exasperated breath left his chest and he closed his eyes, scanning his brain for a solution to what should be the least of his worries in an office surrounded by expired bills and accounts that made zero sense. ‘What’s one more thing to worry about, right?’ He breathed out a laugh.
He heard a knock from the slightly opened door and turned to see Marcus staring down at him.
“Yo, chef?”
“Yo” He answered back.
“We’re all done with housekeeping’. Some of us are gonna go grab drinks and we wanna know if you wanna hang.” He stayed silent for a second. “You kinda look like you had a shitty day.” He sniggered.
He could always trust Marcus to tell the truth.
Carmy suppressed a laugh and leaned into his desk, taking a pen in his hand and playing with it. “Nah, thanks chef. I’m gonna catch up on some stuff here. You have fun though.”
Marcus nodded slowly, looking around the desk until his eyes landed on the bag of fabric laying on the ground. “Bet.” He said then smiled slowly. “She’s gonna be there. Jus’ so y’know.” And with a pat on the doorframe, he signaled his exit.
He leaned against his chair again and stared at the space Marcus had stood in, contemplating his options. If he went, there was a high possibility you didn’t wanna see him. But this could also be his only chance to get things cleared out and maybe convince you to not quit because of his actions. Granted, a bar was not the place to talk and definitely not his scene, but if that’s what he had to do to convince you to stay then so be it. He took a couple calming breaths to ease his heart at the idea of possibly even telling you how he felt, if you were gonna leave, might as well take the info with you, right? It’s not rejection if you were already gonna split.
“Fuck it.” He threw the pen at the mess of papers and the old chair creaked as he stood forcefully, then pulled his jacket from the back along with his keys from their hook by the entrance and followed the rowdy chanting of his youngest employees walking in a line out the busted back door and into the night.

"Do you have any sharpies? Or a permanent marker or something like that?" Trevor untangled himself from around your body when he felt the time was right. He didn't wait for your answer before he started to rummage through the drawers of junk that were in the kitchen.
Trevor wasn't about to act like he all the answers in world or like he was going to be the one to fix you. Because in reality that would be impossible, you needed someone trained in that field to help you long term. But that didn't mean that he couldn't help in the moment or at least try.
And he had an idea, something that he had seen when he was younger. A reminder for when your feelings got a little too big for you to handle by yourself. It also a place holder until he was able to help you find the correct help you needed. Because he wasn't going to leave you alone to deal with this on your own.
"Um. I think there might be one in the cup next to the sink." You mumble trying to remember where they were. You knew you had some. "Or else it's in with my art supplies. I don't know. I'm sorry."
"Hey now. There is nothing to be sorry about y/n." Trevor carried you over to your couch and making his way to your art corner to start scrounging around for that marker.
It took him a minute to find your collection, it turned out they were with the art supplies that hadn't been touched in months. He picked out two colors, purple and blue, your favorite color along with one of his.
Returning to where he had left you, he made himself comfortable. He snagged a blanket from the bin and laid it across the both of you. Trevor wasn't
"Give me your arm" He said, not asking. You didn't have the strength to question what his motives were, so you presented him with your wrist full of healing scars. He grimmaced seeing them, wondering how long this had been going on and why he didn't notice earlier.
Trevor took the purple marker starting to draw something. He started off with the body, adding some sort of antenna to what was supposed to be it head. He then took the blue marker and made wings on either side of its body.
"A butterfly?" You question rubbing and tracing over the temporary tattoo with the tip of your finger.
Your friend nodded and explained the simple rules: you want the butterfly to live by letting it fade naturally and reapplying it when you feel that certain urge. Oh and if you do act on those urges the butterfly dies.
You could do that. Or at least try. It seemed easy enough.
"You think she's gonna like it?" Trevor asked peeling off the bandage that once covered his newly acquired tattoo that laid on his right shoulder. He was looking to get something new to add to his collection of art in his body and he chose a butterfly design.
"A butterfly?" Mason scratched his head. He was a little unimpressed and a bit confused. But that's because he didn't know the significance of the creature. "I don't know man, it just seems kind of-"
"Perfect, right?" Trevor finished his sentence. He had grabbed a warm wash cloth to clean the remaining goop off.
"I was gonna say weird. But whatever floats your boat." The younger man shrugged. He didn't care what Trevor decided to put on his body.
Trevor groaned, quickly finishing up his tattoo care so they could go meet up with you. You would like the new ink, he was pretty positive of it. He just needed to show it to you know.
You weren't paying attention to what you were doing. Sometimes you do things and it just sort of happens and you don't really remember it. It was almost like you were in some sort of trance. A trance that had you acting upon some of those heavy feelings that had been plaguing you lately.
"Shit" You mumbled when you heard the knocking on the door. You had completely forgotten that Trevor and Mason were coming over. There was a fresh mark on your arm that you needed to take care of.
You hurried to the bathroom in search of some sort of bandage for your arm. Maybe you could play it off as an accident. You didn't need to tell Trevor what had happened. It would be fine right? Oh god you hoped Trevor wouldn't notice.
You just found a bandage, when you spotted the butterfly you had just drawn on your arm the day before. You panic a little, the drawing didn't have a purpose anymore and had to go. You drop the band-aid to reach for a nail scrubber and start to get rid of the butterfly.
"Come on, Y/n, open the door!" Trevor banged on the door again.
"You think she forgot?" Mason crossed his arms. It wouldn't be the first time it slipped her mind that they were supposed to hang.
"No we were talking about it earlier. I highly doubt she forgot so soon." Trevor frowned unsure what to do. Should he wait for you, maybe you were still getting ready. But he had a sinking suspicion that wasn't the case.
Trevor fished the key you had given him out of his pocket and opened the door. He suggested Mason stay there. Mason had no idea what Trevor had walked into last time something like this had happened, so he agreed to stay put.
Cautiously he entered your apartment and started to look around for you. He found you in the bathroom scrubbing away. He notice the red on your arm and put two and two together.
"Hey, Y/n?" He called out. He wasn't fully sure if you had completely heard him so he tried reaching you again. "Can you hear me?"
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry" You continue what you were doing.
"Hey. Listen to me. You're okay. It happens. I'm not mad." Trevor wanted to grab onto your wrists to get you to stop scrubbing at the butterfly that had already been cleanly washed off, but you swore you could still see a piece of it. Instead he grabbed onto your shoulders and turned you to face him so wrap his arms around you and pull you in close. "It's okay. Wanna draw a new one?"
Let me know what you think! Anything is appreciated!

summary: One day you meet Yunho in the café where you work and as something develops between you, you wonder if he will still love you if he knows you have a little daughter.
words: 4k
genre: fluff, angst, non idol au
I hastily tied my apron around my hips, grabbed my notepad and hurried behind the counter.
A smile immediately played around my lips as I greeted the first customer. My shift at the café had just started.
The café where I worked was small and inconspicuous. It was in the corner of a small and crowded street and, despite its small size, was always packed with people.
I had lost a little piece of my heart to this place, and to the people who made up this place. I loved smiling at customers when they entered the café or having a regular's order ready before they could even order because I could read what they wanted on their faces. I loved the packed bookshelves, the food and my little daughter when she played with the cats in the café looking like the little angel she was. I also loved a certain person who always sat in a certain spot in front of the window that had always been empty before.
I smiled as this person waved excitedly at me. Just a few months ago, I would never have believed that such sunshine would ever reach my heart or the café.
~☆~
A few months earlier:
I was finishing the order for Mrs. Lee, an older lady who always smiled kindly at me and usally tipped more as appropriate, when he entered the café.
The man was in his mid-20s, with a friendly face hidden under a mask and brown hair covered by a cap. His clothes were neat, simple and black to gray, while everyone else in the café looked colorful and thrown together. He looked like he was from another world, he didn't belong here. Everything in this café was jumbled and thrown together, but he was neat and orderly.
He took a seat at the table in front of the window and stood out among the grandmas playing cards and the small children stroking a cat as much as a rose among daisies.
After bringing Mrs. Lee her muffin with a cup of tea, I walked towards his table. When I stopped in front of him, he looked straight into my eyes and smiled. My heart beat faster against my chest and I had to pull myself together to behave normally.
"Hey… ahm…. Would you like to order something?" I stuttered.
"An iced americano, please." He smiled at me and I nodded before disappearing behind the counter. My cheeks burned when I brought him the drink a little later. He grinned and did something that took me off guard.
"Hey, I'm Yunho by the way. I asked your colleague over there. She said your shift ends in five minutes. Would you mind sitting with me for a bit?"
My face burned and I thought about it for a moment, then I nodded. I looked down at the floor, a little embarrassed, but I could still see his excited glow.
"Well, then I'll see you soon." He said happily and I stumbled away a little confused.
He was right. My shift was over now and I took off my apron and leaned against the wall in the warehouse for a moment.
"Calm down yn." I commanded myself. It wasn't even his good looks that made me so nervous. It was his charisma, this excited, almost childlike and his radiant smile. I took a deep breath and then went to him and sat down at the table opposite to him.
When I went to bed that day, I fell asleep with a smile on my face. We had talked and laughed until my colleague had to kick us out because the café had to close. He made me laugh more than anyone ever had and yet I felt like I could talk to him about the deepest secrets of my heart.
He had insisted on taking me home and gave me a gentle kiss on the forehead to say goodbye. The whole thing was an incredible cliché and yet I left him as a blushing mess.
That was the first time this sunshine entered my heart. He knocked gently and crept further and further in until it felt as if he had always been there.
~☆~
And so the months passed. Yunho came to my little café every day. Almost every day I stayed and we talked together. When I was with him, I was physically unable to be sad. I had never laughed so much in my life. I had learned that Yunho would do anything to make me laugh, to make my day light up at least for a moment.
He made my whole day at the café brighter with our little conversations, his laughter echoing through the room when I said something funny and the little touches we shared throughout the day. A long hug to say hello and goodbye, how he would take my smaller and petite hand in his big one and not let go until I had to leave and how sometimes he would just come up behind me while I was leaning against the counter and hug me from behind.
I smiled. I spent every spare minute at his table, after my shift we often went for walks together or out to eat in restaurants and even when we were already home we texted late into the night.
I was happier than I had ever been in my life and didn't realize how I was losing my heart more and more to this good-natured boy. How I fell more and more, or maybe I did notice it but acted selfishly and allowed my soul to merge more and more with his.
We spent more and more time together after work. We went for walks and resaurants. Deep down, I was aware that we were dating, that we were heading more and more towards a relationship and yet I let it happen. Even though I was worried about my daughter, I suppressed it deep in my thoughts.
And so it finally came to the inevitable situation. Like so many evenings before, we sat on a bench by the river and talked. I held the flowers that Yunho had given me in my hand and pulled my knees to my chest. Yunho rested his head on my shoulder and wrapped an arm around me.
"I have something for you." Yunho murmured, suddenly getting all excited and happy. He broke away from me to rummage in his pocket. He made a cute noise when he finally found what he was looking for and pulled a small box out of his pocket. Excitedly, he placed the box in my hand. I opened it with a smile and my breath caught a little when I saw the contents.
It was a small ring. But not just any ring. It was the counterpart to the gold ring that Yunho wore every day.
"My grandma gave me the two rings once. She told me to keep the second ring and give it to the person I give my heart to. That way, everyone knows that I belong to you and you belong to me." He smiled at me and I couldn't help but look at him, overwhelmed.
I've always been bad at showing others how grateful I was for gifts and stuff like this. How did I show others that it meant so much to me that they had given me this gift? But this time the solution seemed incredibly simple.
I leaned forward and stopped just before our lips touched. Yunho closed the gap between the two of us and I smiled into the kiss. I had to hold on to him because I could literally feel the love sparking back and forth between us. It pulsed between us like a ticking time bomb that would soon blow up.
It scared me and yet I didn't do the slightest thing to stop it. Our souls were one. Two long-lost parts that had found each other again and would always find each other again, through time and space. They could not be separated. They were meant for each other. Destined to perform a tender dance with their lips, to move in unison to a music of heartbeats.
We loved each other and I knew that I wouldn't be able to keep this love with me. He would leave, like everyone before him. Because I was not alone. Because I had a daughter. The bomb would explode sooner or later and blow our hearts to smithereens

"What do you mean the kindergarten is closed?" I moaned into the phone. Normally Hannah, my little girl, was at kindergarten until the afternoon. However, I usually worked until then, so my mother looked after my little angel until I got off work.
But then the kindergarten director called me and told me that the kindergarten was closed today due to a flu epidemic and my mother was away today.
I sighed and called my boss's number. Maybe I could take Hannah to work with me. She's always been a quiet child and wouldn't cause any trouble. My boss assured me that it was no problem for me to bring Hannah with me, so I woke up my little angel and told her that she was going to the café with me today.
She was incredibly happy and put on her blue fairy wings and her favorite dress to celebrate the day. I gave her a kiss on the forehead, whereupon she giggled and promised to be very quiet for me while I worked in the café.
I packed her favorite picture books and toys in my bag to keep her occupied and grabbed my little princess to walk with her to the café.
Out of a selfish thought, I hoped that Yunho wouldn't come to the café today. Because by now I had admitted to myself how I felt about him and I didn't want this thing between us to end. Because it would end as soon as he realized that I had a child.
No man in his early 20s wanted to date a woman who already had a child. Everyone wanted their own child or saw the child as a disruption or obstacle and Hannah wasn't a disruption. She deserved all my love and more. I would always choose my daughter over romantic affairs or anything like that. I didn't get my hopes up anymore, even if I loved Yunho, I would end it.
No matter what there was between us. It would end because it had no future anyway. No one had "taken" me and Hannah together, none of the guys I had dated wanted me with a child. And no matter how good-natured Yunho was, I couldn't imagine him doing it. He was young. He had choices. Why would he take me when he could have anyone else without a child or "complications"? I was so sure he would see Hannah as a problem just like the others and was ready to push him away because of it. I would go through any heartbreak to spare my daughter the feeling of constant rejection. My daughter comes first always.
We arrived at the café and Hannah obviously sensed that I wasn't feeling well, so she hugged me as best she could from her height. I hugged her back. Then I disengaged and unlocked the café.
~☆~
That's when he entered the door like every day. Yunho beamed at me, but I couldn't bring myself to smile back.
My heart would break today. He held it in his hand and handled it with care like no one had ever done before. He stroked and caressed it with his loving touch and this time it wasn't my lover who scratched the scratches in my heart and squeezed it until it burst and he could enjoy the shards. It was me. I was the monster who let my own heart shatter piece by piece. Because I didn't know any different.
I had been avoiding going to Yunho's table and taking his order for five minutes. But now I pulled myself together. Yunho waited patiently for me and smiled.
"Hey!" he beamed.
"hi…" I looked down at the floor and tried to be as dismissive as possible.
"Do you want to sit with me?"
"No… There's too much going on. I have to stay at the counter." I said quietly. We both knew it was an excuse. Apart from Yunho, there was only Mrs. Lee and her friends in the café, who were meeting up to play go today.
Yunho looked at me in confusion. I remained silent and looked at the floor until I felt someone tugging at my trouser leg. I looked at my little angel Hannah. She was holding out a picture she had drawn with her pencils and a pretty little bunch of flowers consisting of daisies and some grass. She must have just picked the flowers in the meadow outside the café.
"For you mommy! You looked so sad today. I want you to smile again. That's why I picked you flowers and painted us both with dad." Said the little girl.
Hannah didn't know that her father had left me when she was two months old because he didn't want to have a child yet. I had told her that her father no longer loved me and that was why I had left. I didn't want her to grow up thinking that her father didn't want her.
Hannah had said to me one day that she didn't have a father and so she had decided that someone would be her father one day. She herself would choose who deserved to be her dad and because she wanted a dad, her teddy bear would stand in as her dad until she found a better one. In her little drawing, a stick figure version of me was standing hand in hand with Hannah and the teddy bear was sitting next to us.
But to Yunho it must have looked like I was still with Hannah's "dad" and had a daughter with him. A normal family with a daughter. Whose mother he had flirted with until yesterday and she had flirted with him too.
I looked at Yunho, in whose eyes I saw exactly what I had feared. I had to look away, I could no longer see that hurt expression on his face. Maybe it was for the best. If he thought I was married or at least had a husband, then perhaps he would be able to let go more easily than if I "dumped" him without explanation. I love you. I love you. I love you! I screamed inwardly as I said
"I can't see you anymore." I couldn't look at him without bursting into tears so I turned away without another word, taking Hannah in my arms, who looked back and forth between me and Yunho in confusion.
If I looked back, I would see Yunho with silent tears streaming down his cheeks. He sniffled and hastily packed up his things to rush out of the café.
If he turned around, he would see me hugging my little Hannah and looking at my broken heart. My soul ached as I cried like I had never cried before. No one had ever broken my heart like I had just now.
~☆~
one week later
Yunho 18:32: "Hey can we talk. I know you didn't want to meet me anymore and I'm sure your husband won't be happy about it either, but I need to talk to you one last time. Please meet me at the café at 7pm."
I had been staring at this message for ages. My heart was pulsing. It wanted him. Maybe I should explain everything to him. Like I actually wanted to do. Maybe he would love me anyway.
I shook my head. I couldn't leave. Hannah would be home alone otherwise and my little princess was still scared of being home alone. But my heart cried out for him. I owed it to him. I was responsible for my own pain. I had inflicted it on myself. But he couldn't help it. At least he deserved the truth.
Y/n 6:43 pm: Can you come to my house? I can't leave my daughter alone."
I didn't get a reply to my message, but at 7 p.m. the doorbell rang. I got up from the sofa, but Hannah was quicker. She opened the door and looked up at Yunho. She giggled
"You're so huge." Yunho gave a pained smile.
"Hannah can you please go to your room. I need to talk to Yunho ok?" Hannah nodded and hopped into her room. Then I turned to Yunho. He looked almost as horrible as I did and it was my fault. I hated myself for taking the light from the sun. All joy had disappeared from his face.
"Come on in. I think we should sit down." I whispered. He just nodded and I led him to our dining table. We sat down opposite each other and I looked sheepishly at the tabletop.
"Isn't your husband home?" Yunho asked quietly.
"I don't have a husband." I sighed. I would tell him everything and not because I hoped to get something out of it. But because he deserved to know the truth.
"Hannah's father left us when she was a few months old. I haven't had anyone since then… Hannah calls her teddy her dad. She always says that until she finds a new one, the teddy is her dad…. She drew a picture of us and the teddy in the café." We were both silent and, if I wasn't mistaken, I saw a spark of hope in Yunho's eyes.
"So… why did you say we couldn't meet anymore?" I sighed again and ran my hands over my face a little desperately.
"You know, whenever a guy starts dating me. He might want to date me, but as soon as he finds out I have a child, they disappear again. I'm 24 and have a 5-year-old child. Men my age want to start their own family. They want to father their own child. Or no family at all. All the men I've dated since then have either disappeared immediately or seen Hannah as a burden. But she's not. She's not a burden. She's my little angel and no matter who I'm with they have to treat her as well as she deserves… But the difference with you was that I never really loved any of those men. But you…. Yunho I love you… I'm terribly sorry that I hurt you. I'm not a very good mother, but I'm just trying to protect Hannah as best I can." Tears shimmered in my eyes.
Yunho had been listening to me carefully the whole time and now smiled sadly.
"If you let me into your life, if you give me a chance, I will promise you that I will love Hannah as much as I love you. I…"
I started to cry.
"I don't know if I deserve this." I sobbed and Yunho wrapped me in his arms. He shook his head slightly.
"Of course you deserve this. Please, … let me love you." I buried my face in the crook of his neck and nodded. We stayed like that for a few moments. Then he broke away from me. He looked deep into my eyes and slowly leaned forward towards me.
"Can… I kiss you?" Yunho asked and I nodded.
Slowly he leaned in further and our lips met and immediately we felt that familiar feeling again. We moved in unison and our souls melted together more and more. My skin burned and my lips throbbed. While Yunho kissed me tenderly and caressed my lips, I clung to his arm. Fearful that he would simply disappear again.
But he stayed. He stayed the whole evening. He picked up the pieces of our broken hearts and glued them together into one. My heart healed with every fleeting kiss he pressed to my lips in the weeks that followed, every time I watched Yunho playing with Hannah, watching them laugh.
My mother no longer had to pick Hannah up from kindergarten every day. Yunho did that. He picked up our princess and took her to the café with me. There they played, painted and laughed together. Whenever I had time, I sat down with them and we played together. When I was off, we went home together. We cooked together or had movie nights. We were a happy little family and, as always, Yunho kept his promise. He loved me and Hannah equally with all his heart.
*bonus*
1 year later:
How could I ever think that Yunho didn't belong here? His soul melted into this place. His childlike nature and good-naturedness enchanted me. He fitted in perfectly here. In my café, in my heart, in my little family. He laughed with my princess and I sank down at the table with them. The whole situation was so natural and yet at that moment I felt infinitely grateful for the man who had changed my life for the better.
"Mommy, can we go to the playground?" Hannah asked excitedly. The nearest playground was only 5 minutes away from the café.
"Honey, I still have to work."
"Please, please, can I go with dad then?" My eyes flicked to Yunho and we looked into each other's eyes for a moment. It was the first time she'd called him that, dad… It sounded right. Yunho was her dad. I smiled.
"Sure you can go." Hannah jumped up happily and started packing up her things. It didn't seem like a big deal to her, but Yunho looked like he was about to start crying. I wrapped him in my arms and we hugged briefly. Then Hannah came into our embrace and whispered
"Family hug!" Yunho laughed and gave our little princess a peck on the side.
Then we broke away from each other and Yunho took Hannah on his shoulders. The two of them left the café together, leaving me beaming with happiness. The sun shone straight into my heart, I let it happen and welcomed it.

______________________________________________
“Pick up, please pick up.” You crossed your fingers as your phone was dialing your ex, Park Jimin once again to come over for sex.
You both ended your relationship on good terms, Jimin always had a busy schedule and was sometimes overseas for most of the year. Both of you agreed it was for the best to separate.
However, that didn’t stop either of you from still getting together every so often to fuck.
You were seeing someone new, nothing serious, and neither of you were exclusive.
There was nothing really wrong with the guy, just one thing — he could never make you cum.
You even went as far as faking it, multiple times because in the moment, it just to be done. He never seemed to notice. Then, when Jimin was free, he would quite literally fuck your brains out. It was a good system you had worked out.
When you told Jimin how your new man couldn’t make you finish, it gave him a huge ego boost — as if he needed it. He knew he was good in bed. The way you would writhe underneath him from just his tongue, or the way he would have you almost crying in pleasure.
Now, your new boyfriend was out of town, giving the perfect opportunity for Jimin to come over for the night.
“Hello?” Jimin’s voice finally spoke through the phone, and you felt relieved.
“Hey, Jimin.” You spoke in the sweetest voice you could. “Are you busy tonight?” You twirled a strand of your hair around your finger.
“Ah.” Jimin answered, you could practically hear him smiling. “I think I already know why you’re calling me.”
You blushed to yourself. “Fuck, Jimin. Okay. I need dick, that is why I’m calling you.”
“Where’s your new man?” He cheekily asked you.
“I mean as in good dick.” You spat back to him. “He’s out of town this week, and you know that man can’t make me cum.”
Jimin chuckled. “I know, but I love hearing you say that.”
“Yeah, yeah.” You teased him. “You coming over or not? I’m wearing some new panties I want to show you. Hmm. Or maybe none at all.”
“Fuck.” Jimin swore, frustrated. “You know I can’t say no. I’ll be there in 30 minutes.”
You smirked to yourself. “I’ll be waiting. Bye.”
You changed into a matching baby pink lacy bralette and panty set, the color happened to have always been Jimin’s favorite on you. You quickly threw your fluffy white robe over it and waited for him on the couch in your apartment.
Right on time, there was a knock on the door, and you got up to open it.
Jimin flashed you a smile before walking in, taking his sunglasses off. He looked so incredible he nearly took your breath away. He shut the door behind himself, locking it. Instantly his lips were on yours.
“Jimin.” You breathed out in between kisses. You draped your arms over his shoulders and around his neck, letting him take control.
He hummed in response, deepening the kiss as you felt him slide his tongue into your mouth, making you moan in response.
He pulled away, kissing down your neck and to your bare chest that wasn’t covered with the robe.
“Fuck, Jimin.” You whined, leaning your head back, tangling your fingers in his blonde streaked hair. “I missed you.”
“Me too.” His teeth scraped against your skin, making you jump. “Let’s go to your bedroom.”
Once you were in your bedroom, Jimin stripped himself of his hoodie and t shirt. He got to work unbuttoning his jeans as you untied your robe, letting it fall onto the floor below.
“Oh, fuck.” Jimin nearly moaned at the sight of you, especially in his favorite color.
“Mhm.” You smirked. “Wore it just for you.”
Jimin dropped to his knees in front of you, hands all over your thighs, and kissing your stomach, waist, and hips.
You chuckled lightly. “Jimin, that tickles.”
He hummed, grabbing one of your thighs firmly with one hand, and landing a smack to your ass with the other. The sudden contact made you gasp.
“Jimin!”
He stood up, smirking as his fingers graced the lacy material of your lacy bra. “Baby as much as I love how you wore this for me, Id like it better if it was on the floor.”
Now sitting on the bed with your knees apart, you reached behind your back and unhooking it. Jimin reached and pulled the article of clothing off you, throwing it to the floor.
He tilted your chin up to kiss you again, the kiss being so forceful you almost couldn’t catch your breath.
Jimin pulled away and you nearly gasped for air. His hot breath was on your neck.
“God, look at you, I can’t get enough of you.”
He left open-mouthed kisses on your chest and you softly moaned; knowing where it was leading.
Except, you nearly cried out when his warm mouth was around your left nipple, his tongue swirling around it just how you liked it.
You couldn’t help how you tugged on his hair; your body so sensitive from not being touched like this in so long.
Jimin lifted his head up, smirking at how worked up you were. “What, your man doesn’t do this?” He lightly pinched your right nipple, making you let out a whine.
You leaned your head back, biting your lip. Nobody could get you worked up quite like Jimin could.
“Jimin, I need you to fuck me. Please.”
You pressed your thighs together, aching for his touch. Jimin noticed right away.
He moved his mouth from your left nipple over to your right, giving it equal attention. Your moan came out almost a sob.
“Jimin!”
You leaned back to lay down against your bed sheets, Jimin shifted to now hover over you, his mouth going straight back to your nipple.
“So worked up for me, I could probably make you cum from just this.” He kissed the skin below your right breast, nibbling lightly.
And he wasn’t wrong, he probably could.
“Jimin…” You were practically writhing underneath him.
He sat up slightly, taking in the sight of your body underneath him. He loved seeing you like this, so needy and worked up just for him.
Jimin brushed over your still clothed entrance over your panties with his fingers, making you suppress a moan by biting your lip. You could imagine how wet you were, and probably soaking through your panties.
“Just for me.” Jimin smirked. “Cute.”
He hooked his fingers around either side of your panties, and you lifted your hips for him to pull them off.
Once he did, he threw them to the side somewhere onto the floor.
Jimin moved so now he was in different position, like he was somewhat sitting next to you.
Noticing how his jeans were pulled down slightly and unbuttoned, his length was straining against his boxers. Your mouth practically was salivating.
“Fuck, Jimin.” You swore. “Your cock.” It almost seemed bigger since the last time, but it’s only been a couple weeks.
He didn’t say anything, just hummed. You shifted your upper body, Jimin guided you to open your legs more than they already were. You didn’t even have to wonder if you were wet, it had felt like you’ve been nearly gushing all night long.
You gasped at the contact of his fingers to your soaked entrance. Jimin swore under his breath.
“Fuck. You’re soaked. My fingers will slip right in.”
You let out a rather loud moan when he pushed his middle and ring finger inside of you, pressing against your walls. You almost forgot you had neighbors that could probably hear all of this.
Jimin’s lips crashed against yours as he started finger fucking you with earnest. You cried out against his mouth as he hit your g spot repeatedly. You felt your thighs starting to shake, and your stomach starting to tighten.
Jimin started watching his fingers go in and out of you, as you were practically clutching onto him.
“Jimin. Jimin.” You sounded so desperate saying his name repeatedly.
“Gonna cum for me?” His face was close to yours before he kissed you again.
You bit down on your lip, letting out a moan. “Mmm. Yes. Yes.” You tried to nod.
You felt yourself becoming more wet, then hearing the squelching sound of Jimin’s fingers moving in and out of you.
“Fuck, look at you, clenching my fingers like that.” Jimin moaned.
You were shaking, clutching onto him so hard that you felt like you should be apologizing, but he was pressing so hard against your inner walls that you were about to lose it.
“Jimin. Jimin.” You kept saying his name.
“Mhm. Say my name.” He kissed you, but you couldn’t even kiss him back, your orgasm hit you the hardest it has in a while.
“Jimin. Fuck. Don’t stop.” You squeezed your eyes shut, feeling like your whole body was shaking.
“Let it go, I got you.” He buried his face in your neck as you let out a rather loud moan.
You were panting like you just ran 5 miles, not even opening your eyes. The muscles in your thighs felt on fire.
“Jimin, what the fuck?” You managed to breathe out.
“Baby, this is nothing new.” Jimin chuckled. “I think you’ve just been neglected.”
You heard him slide off the bed, and heard his jeans getting taken off and thrown onto the floor.
“Open your eyes, I want you to look at me.”
You swallowed thickly and opened your eyes to see Jimin turned away from you, still in his underwear. You noticed his tattoo of the moon phases down his back, probably your favorite tattoo of his.
“Do you still have those condoms?” Jimin asked you.
Since you and Jimin had been getting together rather frequently, you had stashed a box of condoms at the very bottom of one of your drawers in your dresser. The both of you agreed it was probably a good idea to use condoms since you weren’t a couple anymore.
“Yeah. At the bottom of the drawer like always.” You answered, watching him walk over to the drawer, open it, reach in and grab a foil packet.
“You’re running out.” Jimin joked, smiling as he pulled down his black underwear, revealing his thick cock.
You bit down on your bottom lip as you watched him open the packet and roll the condom on over the tip. “Yeah, I uh guess I’d better get more.”
Jimin climbed on top of the bed, hovering over you. He adjusted some pillows so you would be comfortable.
His necklace was dangling as he was aligning himself with your entrance, teasing you by tapping the tip against your clit, making you whine from the sensitivity still.
“I forgot how pretty you looked underneath me.” Jimin spoke, but before you could respond in any way, you felt him push himself into you, the stretch of his girth feeling divine.
You couldn’t even form words, you just let out a whine. “Fuck, you feel so good.”
You felt like you could cum almost instantly at his first few thrusts, it had been so long and right now they were feeling better than ever.
“Mhm.” Jimin licked his lips, leaning down to kiss you.
He pushed your legs further apart, holding them behind your knees. Jimin’s pace changed, and he started thrusting into you slower, but hitting deeper.
You felt him nudge your sweet spot inside of you, making you cry out in pleasure.
“Fuck. Right there!”
He was hitting the spot repeatedly, making you squeeze your eyes shut, your hands grabbing onto him.
“God you’re so fucking wet.” Jimin swore, burying his face in your neck, starting to fuck you harder.
You could feel and hear your bed frame hitting the wall at the force, and Jimin’s hot breath panting onto your neck.
“Jimin, my neighbors.” You slightly laughed, fingers combing through his blonde streaked locks.
His pace faltered as he got up, now hovering over you, his chain necklace dangling. “I don’t care.” Jimin kissed you softly, then you pulled him closer for more, his tongue gliding against yours.
Your jaw mouth fell open at one thrust, and he smirked, knowing you were close.
“Jimin.” Your voice came out needier than you wanted it to. “Fuck I’m so close.”
“I can tell.” Jimin panted. “Fuck, you’re clenching me so good.”
He shifted your body to the side, putting one of your legs over his shoulder.
You couldn’t help but whine at the change of position, hands moving to grip your bed sheets.
“Fuck, Jimin.” You let out a moan when his fingers started to rub your clit simultaneously as he was fucking you. “More.”
You weren’t sure what you were asking for more of, you were torn between fighting off your orgasm to last a little while longer, or to just give into it.
“More?” Jimin seemed taken aback, your cunt still so wet you could hear it. “I’ll give you more.”
His knee pushed your other leg to the side, and he thrusted into you harder than before. Your orgasm hit you practically seconds later, and you could have sworn you blacked out for a moment.
Jimin’s pace barely faltered as he fucked you through your orgasm. Your walls clenching him tightly, and he grabbed a hold of your legs because you were shaking.
He continued fucking into you until his orgasm hit him, and he almost fell on top of you.
Your bodies right up against each other, and you kept repeating his name; it was all that you could say.
“Yes, I’m right here.” Jimin spoke, kissing you softly along your jaw.
“That was. That was.” You couldn’t even say it. “Fuck.” You slightly laughed at your current state.
“Amazing?” Jimin laughed, trying to finish your thoughts.
“Mhm.” You nodded, combing your fingers through Jimin’s hair.
“So, you know he won’t be back for like 3 days or something like that.” You spoke. “We can do this again.”
Jimin smirked, knowing fully well that you would be.
