In which the Lutece twins rethink their entire theory of whether or not it's going to work with Booker. Seriously, if you're not digging through the trash, are you really playing Bioshock? 😂
Since it was the 11th anniversary of Infinite yesterday, figured now would be a good time to share this here 🤣

favourite animals: Pandas, narwhals, wallabies, axolotls, fruit bats, cheetahs

what I should be doing: Getting ready for a CT scan. But, alas, Sam's account and Ordinary Adventures have my attention.

sims tag game! ☆
tagged by: snatched from @crsentfairy but I swear I feel like I was tagged by @rebouks too
1.) What’s your favourite sims death? When you have a pool on your sim’s property no matter the season they go to lounge there and freeze to death because of their own stupidity. 😭
2.) Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I’m a alpha girl, but I really like both styles! IDK when you get down to it, they both reflect a ‘art style’ to me. Like have you tried to make a MM sim alpha or a alpha sim MM? There’s work involved in that to make it look right!
3.) Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Honestly it depends lmao I make my sims high on the weight scale, even the skinny sims, so their bodies look natural. There’s been times where I’ve had to slightly tweak their hips or stomach width so a cc top doesn’t look strange and bulky. 😑😑 But when I play the game everyone is bound to gain weight and I don’t take certain characters to the gym as much as I should. 😂😂
4.) Do you use move objects?  Uh yeah.
5.) Favorite mod?  Before High School Days was a thing, I really loved the plumfruit mod by Arnie. 😍 There was also a hair styling mod I downloaded that’s pretty fun and effective for doing quick townie makeovers. Beyond that as a storyteller I owe my life to MC Command Center and TOOL annnd wickedwhims for more intimate scenes.
6.) First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? I literally don’t remember, but it was probably city living because I had the first version of Sal and Eve living in San Myshuno.
7.) Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing?  a-LIVE. 8.) Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made?  I love all of my sims!!
Tumblr media
But even with that said it took me like, two days to get Pietro’s face and nose right. I hunted for certain facial details for him!! So I’m proud of him right now.  9.) Have you made a simself? I literally do nothing with my simself but she does indeed exist (images were taken long before Sink or Swim)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
10.) What sim traits do you give yourself? I don’t even remember. That’s how rarely I am on her. 😂
11.) Which is your favorite EA hair color? Dark Brown probably
12.) Favorite EA hair? The one with the -- you know -- jk I really do enjoy the hairs EA has been whipping out lately even though I don’t use them.
13.) Favorite life stage?  Gameplay wise I love playing as kids and teens, coming up with all sorts of Elementary and High School drama 😂😂 I love playing with big family dynamics in general. it’s crazy because I don’t feature any kids or teens in my stories but one day!! one day!!
14.) Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I have moments where I just play the game to play it! But I do a lot of building and storytelling.
15.) Are you a CC creator? I can do recolors 💅🏾
16.) Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad?  i for sure don’t have a squad, but I do feel like I have friends here!
17.) What’s your favorite game?  gta iv, gta v, bioshock 1 & 2, the mafia game series, the sims, dreamlight valley, i’ve been playing It Takes Two with a friend and I really love that game also!
18.) Do you have any sims merch?  I didn’t even know EA was out here selling merch.
19.) Do you have a YouTube for sims?  nah
20.) How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? a lot! i largely got better at designing faces
2021
Tumblr media
2022
Tumblr media
21.) What’s your Origin ID? that’s personal!
22.) Who’s your favorite CC creator?
i love (and i am inspired by) a lotttt of builders
@alexisarielgaming
@beansbuilds
@sierrathesimmer
23.) How long have you had a simblr? probably a good year at this point?
24.) How do you edit your pictures? photopea!
25.) What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? seasons, pets, city living even though i never do anything with it, my wedding stories for tartosa lmao
26. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? i own all of the packs that i want, but i would love more foreign based worlds and a music-focused pack where sims can play the drums and stuff
tagging: this blog encourages theft!

@anonymous : 💕 — single or taken? 🎮 — favorite video game(s)? 🍦 — favorite ice cream flavor(s)? 😀 — are there any rpc mutuals that you’ve met irl before? 💖 — what was one of the greatest/happiest moments you’ve had in the rpc?
Tumblr media
💕 — single or taken?
I hate the term taken, but I am in fact engaged !! to my darling dearest @stardustedstories. That's right, they saw the full spectrum of my crazy and still decided they wanna put a ring on it. I do not understand how I got so lucky but it's too late for them to back out now, they're stuck with me. uwu
Tumblr media
🎮 — favorite video game(s)?
BioShock, for sure. I just love the world of it, and it's the game that made me actually try playing FPS. Other than that, I'm a huge Kirby lover — first videogame I ever really played was actually Kirby and the Crystal Shards for the N64 so it has a soft spot in my heart. Kirby and the Forgotten Land was actually the whole motivator for me finally getting a switch. I also love Pokemon and the Danganronpa series.
Tumblr media
🍦 — favorite ice cream flavor(s)?
I have a few favorites, but I'm probably always gonna choose butter pecan if its an option. I'm also a big lover of bubblegum but I'm pretty particular about it. There's also this chocolate cherry one Mal and I get from Target that is to die for, but I'm not entirely sure what the name is. Honestly, the Target brand ice cream flavors are super good.
Tumblr media
😀 — are there any rpc mutuals that you’ve met irl before?
Obviously I've met Mal in person, but just a couple months back, I finally had the incredible pleasure of meeting @caeloservare in person !! She is !! Just as sweet in person as online !! Getting to hug one of my rp friends who I never thought I'd get the chance to meet was just the best.
Tumblr media
💖 — what was one of the greatest/happiest moments you’ve had in the rpc?
I don't know if there's a definitive moment. It's the little things. It's making friends who actually care about you and your take. It's people appreciating the work you put into things and feeling that serotonin boost when someone compliments your writing / graphics / whatever. It's people actually taking an interest in my original characters. Idk man, I'm a softie, it's the little things for me.

5 games that get my inner worldbuilding ticking
When I really need some inspiration or I’m hungering for some strong worldbuilding to consume I don’t tend to turn to books, movies, and shows too often. Though I have plenty of those I fondly know too. I mostly to turn video games.
Here are some that resonate with me all thanks to their epic and wonderous worldbuilding
No Man’s Sky
No man’s sky had a terrible launch, but after years of its controversy it has pulled through incredibly. It is almost a completely different game. What makes it special for worldbuilding is its endless possibilities and generation mechanics.
You spawn in a unique galaxy, in an infinite universe with randomized generation. Every creature, every terrain, every planet, and every fauna is completely randomized. Some planets are full of wonder. Beautiful colorful terrain, with interesting and fun creatures wandering about. But I have absolute terror too. Absolute terror...
Tumblr media
Sky: Children of the Light
This is a free switch/mobile game that is all about friendship. It is an online game with plenty of international servers, and a decent enough translator to help. Despite the realms available being so small, it often doesn’t feel that. While traveling there is a sense of beauty, loneliness and wonder.
I am so excited for the newest season because it will be dropping lots of lore. There is a lot of really beautiful creatures of light flittering around the world. The biomes are amazing, with really strong tones. I personally love Vault the most, but Wasteland is second place for me :3
Tumblr media
Hollow Knight
No game has ever giving me the same feeling as Hollow Knight has. The created atmosphere is perfect in achieving exactly what it wants. The sound design, worldbuilding, and mechanics make for what I call my favorite video game.
The worldbuilding is sorrowful, but well made. I honestly cannot describe how pretty this game is. The enemies and creatures I’ve came across in this game each can tell a bit more about the world just by their look. The several sections of the map are insanely designed, with a stark and fantastical look to them. The music and sound design really tie everything together.
Tumblr media
Bioshock
I have played all the currently available Bioshock games, and while they aren’t the best or most polished solo shooter, they are forever ingrained into my mind. I went on an insane worldbuilder’s rampage after experiencing the first game. Even more for the third installment, Bioshock: Infinite.
THE MAGIC SYSTEM! Bioshock has a stark and darkly built magic system. Which not only reflects a lot of the world’s values, but is an immediate sign to the player of how corrupt the world you’re about to explore is. The world and enemy design is also very well done, selling Bioshock’s horror vibe and sense of chaos well. I was amazed even more after exploring through Infinite’s floating city, Columbia. Beautiful, but obviously gilded.
Tumblr media
Subnautica
I myself don’t have thalassophobia nor a true fear of the unkown, and yet Subnautica was still able to sell me that unsettling feeling. As soon as I was thrown into the vast oceanic world Subnautica offers, that sense of dread and wander was there to meet me.
Subnautica is full of great worldbuilding. The threats, the plants, the terrain, and the plentiful of oceanic creatures are all unique with plenty of worldbuilt logs attached about them. Anyone looking for underwater worldbuilding inspiration would find this game perfect. It inspired me to completely rework one of my older creations, and its bland nearly empty fantasy ocean. I can’t say much about it without adding spoilers, but trust me, it’s amazing.

Swtor Player Asks
2, 6, 8, 9, 15
Thanks for the ask!
2. What is your favorite class and why? And/or list the player classes in order of most -> least favorite.
Honestly? Jedi Consular has been been my fav so far where I started a redux play through of my Main so I don't repeat my first blind play through where I made some choices I wasn't happy with. I'm honestly all about the Wise Healer slowly becoming more and more disillusioned the more the Consular class story goes on; Wanting to do good only to be just another pawn in just another war.
But I will say Sith Inquisitor quickly shot up the list to a very close second. Just everything about that class story really. Zash? I both love and hate her. Seeing her on Nathema the first time made me go feral. I'm totally not debating playing with the story beat of she didn't die then and will come back AGAIN later down the line... lol. That and the whole force ghost story bits, and the end of the class story? *(Chefs kiss)*
Least fav? Jedi Knight. The whole light vs dark side bits were waaay to ridged for my tastes. Yes Kira was like a little sister to my character, No that doesn't mean she's turning to the dark side.
6. Do you primarily play Republic, Empire, or a mix of both sides? Is there a specific reason for this preference?
Currently I mostly play the pub side only because most of my Cartel items/purchases are reedemed on Isadola (my main). I have been slowly leaning towards playing more of both as I dust off my Sith Inquisitor more and more. But I'm not gunna lie I love the Imp fleet a lot more, it's design is much more up my alley.
8. Name your top favorite companions (feel free to include reasons why).
Ohh, that's a bit of a list but I'll stick with my top 5. Top of the list is Lana hands down, She's Issie's better half among other things that would be too long to list here. Number 2 slot is HK-51, I've had him for less than a few weeks and I would already die for my assassin bot buddy. Next in number 3 & 4 is Nadia & Ashara, My fav force students that are borderline sisters to each of my mains. And number 5 is Khem Val easily, I love my big morose monster of a teddy bear. He reminds me a lot personality wise of my old cat. So yea.. I got quite attached to him.
9. How about your least favorite companions?
Doc. Hands down, no list. Dude does not take "no" for an answer. Kira was close to killing him? Girl would have to get in line behind me as I throw his ass out the air lock. At least Tharan took the hint when you shoot him down, but fuck does Doc just not let it go if you're playing a female jedi. Not to mention he's so fucking full of himself. I could rant all day about this, and no shame to those that do like him, but Doc just rubbed me in all the wrong ways and there was no way I could get rid of him. He made a tedious playthrough like I was pulling teeth.
15. Show us your main(s)!
You mean fav swtor OCs/ my mains? Hell yeah!
First we have Isadola Ardeen Shir (Or known as Issie by those closest to her); Jedi Consular, Miraluka.
Tumblr media
This girl can hide so much trauma in her.
I've been trying to write more stuff for her considering she's the Character I have almost literally all my time/progress on. I feel I need to do her backstory justice.
Now my other main, Or in Issie's case the other side of the mirror-
We have the Sith AU Issie, otherwise known as Atteia Ulla Shir, Sith Inquisitor.
Tumblr media
Small changes in their shared backstory resulted in her becoming Sith instead. In this timeline she lost her original name, and was given another.
In some sense they are both the same person and different people. And if you forced them to meet, they would probably try to kill each other over who suffered more in what little of their pasts that they share, but would be stuck in a stalemate because they are both on the same power level as the other.
Best quote I can borrow for these two is from Bioshock Infinite: "Constants and Variables". These two are the almost literal embodiment of that quote.

Ugh. Personal under the cut.
So I lived through a lot of shit from my family. If anyone here knew me on my old, deleted blog from my teenage years, you might remember some of the uglier details. A lot of the small things are more or less lost to time, but it wasn't a good situation. I moved out on my own in October 2018, and I haven't gone back.
After a long fight that really started when I came out as a lesbian, I finally made the decision in May 2023 to cut contact indefinitely with my parents and older sisters. It just got bad, guys. My mom texted me about family plans I wasn't invited to (and not to invite me, either) and I spent an entire afternoon on the floor, sobbing and wondering what's wrong with me that I'm so unlovable. I just couldn't do that to myself anymore. I had to make a choice about my personal health and sanity, and keeping that relationship intact wasn't the right one.
So I haven't talked to my parents or older sisters in slightly over two months at this time. But there's a little compounding factor making it painful now, which is the fact that I have a little sister. She's 13 years younger than me (13 years, 2 months, and 10 days if I got the math right when I was 14 and bored) and she still lives with Mom and Dad because she's in middle school. I don't know about you, but where I'm from, it's a little bit illegal for a middle schooler to live on her own. So of course she lives with our parents, she's a minor.
But yesterday, I realized how long it's been since I talked to her. It made me so sad because that kid is so amazing, y'all. She's so bright and brilliant and hilarious, and she's the only one in the family who matches my goblin energy and hyperbolic humor. She's so interested in so many things, curious and loves to learn even if school makes her anxious and cranky; when she had the option to take a drafting class, she told me all about it and said she hoped she'd be able to do it, just because she was so excited about it. She loves Squishmallows and Among Us and BioShock and the Arkham games, though I don't know if she ever played the last two without me because it was our thing for a while. She's so smart and catches on so fast. When I last saw her, we worked on story problems for her math class and I taught her how to turn the words into equations and solve for the missing variable. She wears a million bracelets like a true emo, she's allergic to latex and has had mylar birthday balloons since she was 1 and has never tasted a banana because of it, and she worked so damn hard to come to a point where she wasn't afraid of sleepovers and new foods and crowds anymore.
I miss that kid so much, y'all. She's amazing, and I want to hold her close and tell her she should never listen to anyone who tells her she's unworthy or less than because she can reach the stars if she wants. She could be anything she wanted to be, purely because she would think of a way to make it happen before her anxiety even had a chance to talk her out of it. I want her to know I love her so much, I'm so sorry I was a shitty big sister as a teenager, I was sick and hurting and nobody got it but that didn't excuse anything, and I want to tell her I'll disappear anybody who breaks her heart and I don't care if I catch a charge for it.
She's such an amazing kid. So wonderful. One of my favorite people on Earth, honestly, but.....if I text her, will she even respond? If she responds negatively, will I keep myself safe?

Realizing that you have become polarizing for literally no reason is one of the oddest experiences in the known universe. Most of my life, I've had to work on my own sense of self-importance.
"u ain't shit," I'd say to myself. "U are just like any other goofy human being. Learn a little fucking humility."
It helped that life itself joined in and started curb-stomping me. Yeah u ain't shit let me show you what you look like on the inside bitch
But after this experience i went to my best friend and said, "I have just realized i am a motherfucking genius."
"now i think you are, too," she said.
You know why learning to read is important? Because it's how we organize and collate our thoughts. And it is horrifying how very, very badly that these people read. Hell, I'm not sure I was read at all! I'm pretty sure i was added to a long and sprawling blacklist and that there are return visitors to my blog activity to harass supporters.
This whole thing has also been a learning experience. How many times have i been guilty of abandoning OP's context to ramble off on some side track that's way outside their scope? Kinda rude honestly, especially if i held them accountable for not hitting my extremely specific new direction. There's a difference between adding to a concept and yanking it into a full 180. There's also a difference between judging someone harshly for an omission or mistake and being able to look at the rest of their work and realize it was just a bobble, something they would gladly correct or modify with a spot of discussion.
There is no optimism in essayism. Or on the internet, for that matter.
I will say that it's wild how someone can just say something without any proof and bam: that is the truth now. Because it's easy to consume, because the person disagreeing with me is who people want to believe, whereas i wrote a very long and complicated and unpleasant thing in support of media already lying firmly beneath the heel of a devoted hate machine. And who wants the trouble of dealing with a harassment campaign? Don't blame people for not reblogging or commenting. No, not at all.
It also makes me think about some of my favorite essayists, all of whom have been the targets of focused harassment attempts. Man, i will miss Lindsay Ellis until the end of fucking time and i will always resent the dumb fucking bullshit that drove her away. And for what? If anything, her treatment and the general handling of the situation proves the only way to win is not to play. Nobody wanted her to win and she was never going to be given the credit of a doubt as an adult human being with a working brain.
The control of the flow of ideas: controlling who sees whose work, probably with a single sentence of unsubstantiated bullshit. I'm looking at everything differently now: why do i feel the ways i do? Where and why did i consume bullshit, hook, line, and sinker?
The only thing I would change about the BioShock essay is responding to the Lakota blogger at all. Take the one correction that mattered and go on. Because there was nothing there to debate--what they were bringing up, the reasons they said what they said, and the ways they said them was for a very good reason: it involved family and their unjust murders. So i should have granted grace in that case: should have understood that a deep and violent hatred was fucking guaranteed, and that an intelligent debate was never, ever going to happen--not because the blogger was not intelligent, but because they were furious. What's more, if said blogger were truly Lakota, i could've gotten more cultural context. If that person ever shows up around here again, I'd extend an apology for not thinking about that.
But c'est la vie. Time to take that correction into the future.
But for everything and everyone else:

My Hero Academia Guys Streaming Headcanons
These are just the guys I can see streaming.
Tumblr media
Plays mostly "cute" games like Cookie Run and Animal Crossing.
His Animal Crossing island is well thought out but it took him so long to decide what he wanted to put where.
There is an All Might shrine near his in game house. That's where he logs out of the game every time without question.
Often has the LoFi Hip Hop radio playing in the background for the vibes. Sometimes he will turn it off to just enjoy the ambiance of the game.
He very rarely swears and when he does, his chat blows up.
Streams are super consistent. If he can’t make a stream due to hero duties, he will be super apologetic next stream.
Does lots of streams with Todoroki and Uraraka. Tried to get Bakugo to stream with him once for the viewers.
Never again.
Tumblr media
Swears so much when streaming. And chat has been told they just have to deal with it.
Kirishimi is one of his mods and he set up a donation page that acts as a swear jar. Every time Bakugo swears, chat donates.
All they know is that the money goes to charity and Bakugo has sworn to kill Kiri if he ever tells them that the funds go to helping less fortunate hero agencies.
He mostly streams first person shooters like Halo and Valorant.
He’s pretty good at them too thankfully because every time he loses, chat is worried that he will blow up part of his streaming set up.
He’s been through five mouses and three keyboards already.
Streams are pretty regular but chat knows better than to ask why he didn’t stream when he usually would. Bans have happened for less.
He also refuses to stream longer than the recommended 2 hours.
Tumblr media
Very quiet streamer. Chat is trying to get him to talk more. Not that they mind just watching him.
He has a lot of fanboys and fangirls.
But get him streaming with Midoriya and suddenly he is way more talkative. Still not to the extent of most streamers but getting there.
Plays clicker games mostly but will try most things. He’s event tried dating games before.
That was an interesting stream.
Chat has got him to play horror games before to try and ruffle his feathers but nothing has worked.
All except one game.
Bioshock.
The doctor jumpscare came out of nowhere right as his camera died.
Chat is still fuming over the fact that they can’t prove it was him screaming.
Tumblr media
Lots of “Just Chatting” streams. Nothing makes him happier than chatting to his fans.
Also tones of workout streams where he encourages chat to join in.
Chat says he's doing all the work for them before going back to watching him working out.
So many fangirls and fanboys.
Super Smash Bros.
Do I need to explain?
He always plays as either Donkey Kong or King K. Rool.
Does a lot of collaborations with Bakugo, Denki and Sero and the occasional stream with Mina.
Last time he streamed with Mina they played Just Dance and Mina did his makeup.
He thought he looked super manly. Chat agreed.
Tumblr media
Variety streamer. Nothing is off limits. Horror: check. Dating sims: check. Open world adventure: check. “Cute” games: check.
If chat recommends a game, Denki will play it.
Oh God. The Phasmophobia collab with Mina, Sero, and Kiri was so chaotic. Chat was screeching.
Denki died within the first minute and spent the rest of the game making fun of what his friends were doing.
The others laughed at the way his character’s body fell for a solid five minutes.
His favorite game is probably Minecraft though. The “Hero Server” has most of the kids in the hero course in it and has Dream SMP vibes to it.
Server wide wars have happened before.
Does a lot of vlogs and “out-and-about” streams as well so his fans never know what to expect.
He has a pretty unplanned streaming schedule but streams regularly because he enjoys it.
Denki has dabbled in being a V-tuber as well but prefers live streams since it's less to set up.
Has the most fans in chat who need to "touch grass" but honestly, so does Denki so it's all chill.
Tumblr media
A more laid back streamer unless he’s playing with any of the Bakusquad. That it’s all cards on the table, no limits.
Plays Mario Kart a lot.
Lots of Minecraft too.
Mines predominantly but everyone on the server and I'm chat looks forward to when he builds things.
So much detail in whatever he builds and the designs are usually pretty unique.
Chat is pretty chaotic but has it’s days when it’s calm.
Has streamed with Jiro before and the two sing together.
Chat never realized that Sero could sing before and now they pester him to sing all the time.
Tumblr media
Very chill streams. You thought Sero’s streams were laid back? You’re right but they’re also chaotic. Shinso’s streams are ones you could fall asleep to.
And that’s kind of the point.
Chat always compliments Shinso’s voice and on more than one occasion people have told him that his voice has put them to sleep.
Soft music. Candles. Blankets. Cats that he snuck in without anyone Aizawa noticing. The whole deal.
When he does other things it's always something lowkey. Animal Crossing is a favourite just because of the chill vibes.
Shinso also dabbles in first person shooters like Valorant but those streams are rare.
Occasionally streams with Midoriya.

Bioshock rambles
Just wanted to talk about a few things.
1. In all seriousness, I’m open minded to how the next Bioshock is gonna be. That could be my state of mind right now. But I’m very interested and excited with what Cloud Chamber has up their sleeves. I hope the next game is a good time and the best it can be.
2. I honestly forget that the first two Bioshock games are two of my all-time favorite video games and first-person shooters. Like, I’m talking about FPS’s and I forget how much that franchise left an impact on me. And it’s a strange reason why I’m very interested in the new Bioshock. As long as it’s not like Infinite, we’ll likely be fine. XD
3. To be honest, when I look back at my reimagining of the Bioshock franchise named Bioshock Rebirth. I do feel like I want to start over on some stuff. And retool some things. But I feel mainly kind of proud with what I did with that series.
But...to be stupidly honest, I really wonder if I should start it over possibly...IT SOUNDS INCREDIBLY STUPID. And I didn’t make a part 3 because I was waiting for Bioshock 4. The part 3 plans were using elements from Infinite in a concept of people trying to make their own Rapture in a sense. Making money off some tragedy, and using elements from those leaked Bioshock 4 plans called Parkside.
The themes and concepts are still there in Bioshock Rebirth. The reason I feel like maybe starting over because while...I’m still flawed...I feel better with my writing skills right now. Like, I feel more changed about certain things. Even though the themes are still there.
But in a sense, if I made it today. You may get more anti-military stuff in it...
I just wanted to ramble about that. Excuse me while I go on Zoom to do some yoga crap.

MUN QUESTIONS.
Q1 :   if  you  could  write  your  character  your  way  in  their  own  movie ,   what  would  it  be  called ,  what  style  would  it  be  filmed  in ,  and  what  would  it  be  about ?       A1 : Recently I decided that if/when I try to write anything serious about Eve again, it’ll center on her being a jewel thief because it presents me more fun, and emotionally diverse, opportunities. That and I have a very specific cover image in my mind. Ideally, her adventures would be a series of books. I have no title in mind, no idea about how ‘it would be filmed’ ( although a style replicating 90s films would be excellent, film grain and all. ) but, I do have a bunch of plots in mind that I really don’t feel like typing out here.
Q2 :   what  would  their  soundtrack / score  sound  like ?         A2 :  Her score would have a vintage sound (or a jazzy Spike Lee sound, if you will) with instrumentals by Dorothy Ashby (a Jazz Harpist) the Ahmad Jamal Trio, Pharaoh Sanders, Yusef Lateef and Tarika Blue. For music with lyrics, the soundtrack would include the likes of Julie London, Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, and Dionne Warwick.
Q3 :   why  did  you  start  writing  this  character ?   + Q4 :   what  first  attracted  you  to  this  character ? A3 :  Whenever I make NPCs for my character’s lives I actually can’t just let them just be NPCs. I start thinking about them too much. Developing them too much. And then I’m like, ‘wow! I really like this character!’ Eve was a different character when I began writing her, and likely wouldn’t be considered the same character as she was previously, if I told someone in real life who knows about my writing (like my grandma) about all the changes she has undergone. Originally Delores was a university professor, because I thought it could lead to interesting interactions with college-age muses. And her previous history with the mafia was also something interesting to tap in. But then I started thinking about what was realistic, what wasn’t realistic, what did I feel comfortable/interested writing? What didn’t I feel comfortable/interested in writing?  So as time went on, things would alter about this character. And the new things I came up with attracted me more.
Q5 :   describe  the  biggest  thing  you  dislike  about  your  muse.         A5 :  I have a love/hate relationship with Eve’s quiet demeanor. On one hand, I think quieter characters need love and the ability to be fully dimensional but on the other hand, writing louder characters has always been more fun for me. But really, Eve’s guarded behavior makes writing her stressful in some cases with others because sometimes...if I’m going to be honest...people don’t know how to carry a thread and interact with someone of her demeanor effectively.
Q6 :   what  do  you  have  in  common  with  your  muse ?       A6 : We’re both black, we’re both into art (although our exact interests and aesthetics with art differ)
Q7 :   how  does  your  muse  feel  about  you ?         A7 : Realistically she would think I need to take better care of myself.
Q8 :   what  characters  does  your  muse  have  interesting  interactions with ?   A8 :  We skippin’ this question.
Q9 :   what  gives  you  inspiration  to  write  your  muse ?       A9 : Films such as, “Waiting to Exhale,” “The Kitchen” and “Widows.” Books by Alice Walker, like “The Third Life of Grange Copeland” as well as her short story, “Roselily.” The historical mob figure Stephanie St. Clair.
Q10 :   how  long  did  this  take  you  to  complete ?       A10 : A few hours.

A friend asked me to give a stab at a Tierlist Maker for Video Games Not Yet In the Video Game Hall of Fame Tier List Maker, so here's my list for it!
This is based primarily on what I considered to be overall value to gaming history as a whole, with games with greater influence or impact ranking higher than those that had less impact on those to follow, or on culture. All the entries are those that have been nominated to the Hall of Fame, but not actually inducted as of this post's writing. Games that I personally like are generally rated higher, though mostly because I'm more familiar with them and thus can judge their impact from a personal POV.
(Tier List explainations, below!)
SHOULD BE IN ALREADY
Final Fantasy: I mean seriously. How is this one not already in yet?? It is not, as my research suggests, the first true RPG; that likely goes to games like Ultima. It is certainly an incredibly influential one; FF is a name closely associated with JRPGs in general, and its diverse class system is one of the strongest things to do with it, as noted by challenges like beating the game with a party of Black Belts. FF is THE name of RPGs in general and I'm startled it hasn't made it in, though I suppose that's owing to more notable entries (Hard as that is to imagine). It doesn't hurt that the majority of my favorite FF titles are those most similar to this one, such as FF6 and FF9, in terms of approaching the general world setting and class systems. Most significantly is that this game popularized RPGs and made them accessible, in ways that previous games such as Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest did not; the field of gaming would be VERY different without it; RPGs became VERY popular, to the extent of RPG elements being almost universal among other games in the modern day. (I am also pleased and amused to see 8-Bit Theater mentioned on the actual Wikipedia page. Now THAT'S notability!)
Sid Meir's Civilization: HEY NOW HALL OF FAME JUDGES, DON'T YOU BE MOCKING CIV, ALRIGHT. CIV IS FUCKING AWESOME. Okay, jokes aside, I'm genuinely astonished as the Civ series is considered the first true main game of the 4x series, and it shows; the entire genre centers around expansion, resource usage and diplomacying or conquering your enemies, and considering the impact of this game and its sheer popularity, to the extent of the meme of the game getting people to play for Just One More Turn, I'm a bit disappointed that it's not already in the hall of fame. I also note that I am personally more familiar with the spin off Alpha Centauri, a sci fi variant, which is still one of my all time favorite games.
Half-Life: Given this game's popularity, to the point of its release alone consigning the likes of Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines to cult classic status and its engine spawning a whole THING with GMod and the usage of physics mechanics in FPS games, one thing of note is its use of scripted sequences; at the time, an unknown in most games of the time. There may be something to be said for how the entire game is spent as Gordon Freeman, behind his eyes, possibly engendering a lack of separation between self and character that would be later emphasized in games like Bioshock. It's influence on games cannot be denied, with publications using it as a bookend between eras of gaming. One consistent element of what seems to make this game so distinctive is its approach to storytelling, without simply imitating film techniques which don't always work well with gameplay.
Candy Crush: This is an example of something I don't personally play myself, or even like very much, but I'd be remiss to dismiss it out of hand. There's no denial that phone games are one of, if not THE biggest market of games in the here in now; if now in scale, certainly in quantity. You might call it the TF2 Hat Economy theory; people aren't spending BIG bucks, but they are spending a LOT of little bucks all the time. It proves that highly accessible games that are generally free to play, with optional purchases, are a legitimate means of game business, and this certainly revolutionized how games were seen by the money-makers.
Super Smash Bros Melee: I loved this game as a kid, but truth be told i have a bit of a love-hate relationship; i REALLY dislike the competitive community that has fixated hard on this game, so any thoughts on it will have a slight element of pause beforehand. Even so, I can't forget the thrilled delight I felt watching the trailer for this game in supermarkets for the first time as a kid. at a time when getting any new games at all was a HUGE deal in my family. So, there is a lot of feeling behind this one! Ultimately, I have to concede that while i have complicated feelings about this game, its worth noting that the vast majority of things that made Smash iconic, and influenced the competitive scene AND the games inspired by Smash AND shaped the course of the series going forwards, largely owe themselves to Melee in particular. 64 was far more slow paced, while Melee began the trend towards much more fast paced action (and while I doubt it's SPECIFIC to melee as a whole, it may have been a trend for the genre from then). Melee is STILL widely played, especially on the competitive scene, and this sort of longevity always bears evidence of notability.
Goldeneye 007: I have to admit that despite being a kid in the 90s, despite someone who put most of their time into gaming, and despite being someone whose favorite system at the time was the Nintendo 64, I mostly missed out on the trend of history by honestly not being that much into this game. I have to say that I DID play it, however; I just never managed to get past the first level or so. I have strong memories of triyng and failing to sneak around a snowy lair of some description; it wouldn't be until the mid-2000s, playing Deus Ex Human Revolution, that I got the hang of stealth. All the same, personal indifference really doesn't matter much because HOLY SHIT THIS GAME HAS SOME STAYING POWER. IT HAS INFLUENCE, FRIENDORITOS. Perhaps chiefly, at the time it was made, consoles were not considered viable platforms for first person shooters; Goldeneye revised that notion, and created a whole revolution in multiplayer and shooter games. We would later see the ultimate consequence of this in games like Halo, which further revolutionized the whole genre. Ironically, the stealth attributes I was so bad at were part of what made the game so unique! It's one of those games that may not have aged well, by modern standards, but its import to gaming as a whole goes a long, long way.
Guitar Hero: I expect this one might be a bit hard to justify, but on its own, this game is INCREDIBLY innovative, though its not entirely the first of its kind, having mechanics based on earlier games. The very first entry has a respectable library of 30 songs, which is impressive considered at the time it was made, its not likely people expected it to get as far as it did; bear in mind that the massive libraries of later games were the result of years of this game series being a massive steamroller of a franchise! At the time, this one was an unknown. It has an interesting history as being a successor of sorts to an arcade exclusive, and inspiring a genre of imitators and spiritual successors on its own; of great note is the sheer impact this game had. With so many of those successors, the increased value of liscened soundtracks, and the way the game's concept became so influential, its astounding this one isn't already on the hall of fame. (It's also very fun, but fun alone doesn't make for memorability, sad to say.)
DESERVES IT AT SOME POINT
Myst - an iconic and incredibly atmospheric puzzle game, I'm genuinely surprised that I haven't heard talk about this one in some respect; it bears note as a rare game with absolutely no conflict whatsoever. I actually rank this one on par with the 7th Guest in terms of atmospheric games, though their tones could not be more different. So why do I think this game deserves it at some point? It was an incredibly immersive and beautiful game, lacking in genuine danger or threat, encouraging the player to explore and tackle the puzzles of the game. This sort of open-ended lack of peril makes it an interesting precursor towards certain flavors of sandbox games around now. It's worth noting that it was a tremendous achievement, given technical limitations of things such as the CD-Rom it was stored on, maintaining a consistent experience, as well as tying narrative reasons into those very constraints. It has been compared to an art film; if so, it certainly is the sort that invited imitators and proved to be a great technical achievement.
Portal: PORTAL! What can I honestly say that hasn't already been said by other people? The amazing integration of a physics engine into innovative puzzle solving, combined with a slow burn sort of minimalist plot reveal concerning the AI proving itself to be a kind of reverse HAL 9000? This game got a HUGE number of memes back in the day, and I expect anyone reading this can probably reference a few. The cake thing, certainly, and its relevance to matters of deception. There is much discussion over the game's utility in academic circles, which is certainly quite notable, and for my part, I'm interested by the point that at first the game gives you a lot of hints towards what you're supposed to do, gradually making it less obvious for the player you're on your own entirely, using your experience with the game to get past the puzzles from there, and its excellent game design. Ultimately though, I place this below Half Life in hall of fame urgency, because while I probably like this one more, it doesn't have the same impact on other games, per say. (That's a lot of awards for it, though. Wowza.)
Resident Evil: Is it fair to call this one the major survival horror game of its era? No, because it's apparently the FIRST, or at least the first to be called such. It's certainly up there with shaping the genre as a whole, both its immediate predecessors and modern games. The flavor of a survival horror can even be judged about whether its close to Resident Evil's style of defending yourself with limited resources vs controlled helplessness. It's also worth pointing out that I quite like the restricted, cramped setting of the mansion, rather than an expansive city; Biohazard was a real return to form, even if its something I mostly watched through funny lets plays because OH NO ITS TOO SCARY I CANT WATCH.
Asteroids: It's called the first major hit of the golden age of the arcade. I'm forced to say... yeah, it absolutely deserves it. The actual implementation and hardware of the game makes for interesting reading, and so its innovative nature ought to be noted: it lacked a soundchip at all, making use of handmade circuits wired to the board. It's reception was great, beating out Space Invaders and needing larger boxes just to hold all the money people spent on it. It also invented the notion of tracking initials on the top ten score, which has implications for arcade challenges.
Ms. Pac Man: This one consistently ranks HIGH in gaming records of its time, though there is admittedly some confusion to whether it or Donkey Kong was a better seller. Interestingly it appears to shape most of the gameplay mechanics people remember most for Pac-Man, such as the improved AI of the ghosts. It's more highly regarded than the original game, and on a personal note, I remember being a kid and seeing this arcade machine at ALL the laundry places my family usually wound up going to.
Frogger: It's placing on this list is not solely because CUTE FROG. The accessibility and wide appeal of the game bears a great deal of consideration, the flexibility of its formula, and just how many dang times it's been ported in one form or another. (And also, cute frog.) It also gets points for the creator being inspired for the game when he saw a frog trying to cross a road, hampered by the vehicles in the way, and he got out of his car and carried the frog across the street. The game is also evident of broad appeal, and some money-makers resisting it, goes back a long way; it was apparently dismissed as a kid's game by some, which just goes to show that some problems are older than quite a lot of gamers alive today.
Uncharted 2: this is one of those games where I cannot honestly say I have personal experience to draw from. Of the playstation's big games, I remember the Jak and Daxter series; I remember Kingdom Hearts, and I remember Ratchet and Clank, and I remember Infamous, but the Uncharted series remains
something of a 'I don't go here?' obscurity in my personal playbook. It does look memorable and charming from what I've seen, and one consistent element I've seen in comments about it is the cinematic nature of the game; it feels very much like a fun heist movie, based on what I have seen of it, and the notable thing is how the game FEELS cinematic.. in a literal way. As in, it combined elements of cinematography with game design, and that's no mean feat: what works for movies are unlikely to translate well to the interactive side, and it shows how that can be done for other games. The extensive praise does the game a LOT of credit!
WORTH NOMINATION AT LEAST
Angry Birds: As noted before, I'm not the biggest fan of most phone games, given that i prefer a more passive experience than most provide. As such, Angry Birds isn't something I've played as of this writing, but I have to appreciate the straightforward and simple gameplay; it reminds me a bit of the Burrito Bison game series, which I HAVE played, and I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it's because Angry Birds is probably the innovation that coined that particular style of gameplay. It's an example of what made phone games profitable and worth the time of developers to work at them; its easy for casual players to get into, and there's a fun sort of impact involved. Given the popularity of phone games, this one has a LOT of influence in getting that rolling, similar to candy crush, if not as much.
FIFA International Soccer: Simulation games are a tricky business; it can be really difficult to get them right, and this game provides an example of it being done in a way that a lot of people REALLY loved, set up an entire game series, and revived the 3DO system after a very bad year. Of note, apparently it was commented that it was more of a simulator than a console game, and this is rather funny considering how simulator is its own genre nowadays! Such do things change. It seems to have been a revolutionary game and simulation; setting the shape for modern sport games of its type, and tending more towards realism (accounting for acceptable breaks in reality) than was typical of the time. This one's position is thus picked for its impact as a whole; while it may not necessarily be a household name now, the series continues on, and is popular enough that even after 20 years, it's still been going.
Elite: I nominate this game in this position for being a startlingly early entry into what we would now consider open-ended games, even with an element of exploration and trading; if one stretches definitions a bit, a precursor towards gameplay of the like scene in 4X players who strive to avoid conflict, if possible. Its technical breakthroughs are some very interesting reading and make for good game history; a vast and complex game (not just by the standards of the era, either), and opening the door for persistent world games such as World of Warcraft.
Wii Sports: A significant game, and much as how other titles mentioned above were famed for gateway entries into gaming for an unfamiliar audience, or those that would want o play on a more casual basis. It seems notable to me for being most suited as a family game, or a more casual experience of multiplayer than usually associated with games like this; this has greatly influenced Nintendo's design philosophy, and one can see elements of this all the way through the Wii U onwards. It's essentially a fliparound from Mario Party; less competitiveness, but definitely meant as a group thing. Controversy is evident, because like with Mario Party, injuries did result from it.
Call of Duty: I place this one here because, while it DOES hold a very significant role in gaming history, with countless imitators, spiritual successors, being a game-changer in ways that its modern reputation might surprise you with, ultimately it is less so than other games such as Goldeneye, Halo or Half-Life. It's development in AI pathfinding and tactics is incredibly noteworthy from a mechanical perpsective, and the sheer level of awards it won is notable. In the end this game's popularity and continuing influence means that it shouldn't be overlooked.
Metroid: You can't spell 'Metroidvania' without this game! A relatively open ended exploration-based game with further options opening as new tools were found give it an interesting vibe, and the oppressive atmosphere distinctive to the game says great things about its sound and level designs. It wasn't the first open world game, or explorer, or even the first to open new aereas based on equipment, but it had ALL of these elements in a very memorable package. (Samus Aran as a female protagonist is something I'm a bit reluctant to give it credit for, as her identity was obfuscated for most of the game, and only revealed in a fanservicey way in a secret ending. All the same, credit where it is due, I suppose!) It's music seems to endure as a mood setter, too!
Pole Position: Perhaps not the FIRST racing game, but still considered one of the most important from the golden age of gaming, and the one to codify many of the firm rules of the game series. It's three dimensional gameplay is incredibly innovative for its time, and having played it and games like it in the past, I'm struck by how smooth the whole thing feels. No wonder it was popular! It is notable for having been designed specifically as a 3d Experience, meant to execute techniques like real drivers might attempt, which makes it a different sort of beast in that it tried to do more realistic actions; in some ways, a precursor to modern trends of realism in many games, for ill or best. Ultimately I think this one is worth a nomination because of its influence towards racing games (a popular and long lived genre, to say the least) as a whole.
OUTSIDE CHANCE
Nurburgring 1: On the one hand, I feel a bit guilty putting this one so low; it is recognized as likely being the earliest racing game in history, and given that I just finished noting Pole Position's influence, it feels a bit mean to rate this one as relatively insignificant all the same. However, in terms of notability, I never even heard of this one, and it was tricky finding information about it. Accordingly, that may say something about its influence, though this position DOES make it noteworthy as the first of its kind, albeit with Pole Position refining and introducing elements that shaped the genre.
Dance Dance Revolution: It feels a bit strange, putting this one fairly low. This thing was a MONSTER back in the day; entire arcades were built around the dancing control peripherals it required, rhythm based games or mechanics specifically invoked it by name, and it was an absolute cultural touchstone for years and years. So, why place it low? Partly, its because I can't just shove EVERYTHING into the 'deserves a nomination' folder; I do think it's fairly reasonable for this one to at some point get a nomination in the future, though ultimately there's games more noteworthy on the whole. It's specific rhythm qualities continue outside of its genre, and are quite influential to gaming as a whole, though unfortunately the series seems to have lost something in notability over time; popularity is a factor, but so is the impact on other games.
NBA 2K and NBA Jam: I put these two together because they touch on similar touchstones for me, and they really did popularize basketball games back in the day. Jam in particular seems to be invoking the Big Head mode that were a big thing in games at the time, at least going from the screenshot. They were very popular and highly beloved games back in the day, though I don't know if they have much influence on later games. I note that interestingly, they take opposite approaches; 2k focuses on AI and realistic experiences, while Jam was deliberately less realistic and more actiony in its over the top gameplay.
Nokia Snake: This one really impresses me for the sheer number of releases, in various forms, it's had! Interestingly, there seems to be little consensus on the name of this game; most just call it Snake or something on that theme. I went with Nokia Snake because... mostly, it sounds funny, and that's how its done on the list. This one is fairly low, but I Have to give it credit for having hundreds of releases!
Farmville: My mom liked Facebook games, a lot. And I am certain this one was one of her main ones! I rate it fairly low, and no doubt her spirit is yelling imprecations at me across the void of time, space, and abandoned socks; all the same, this one is ranked low because of the sheer number of displeasure aimed this one's way. (And to be fair, she complained about it. A LOT.) It is thus notable for unusually negative reasons; an example of exploitation, pressuring players to pester their friends to play it in an equivalent to electronic chain mail, and microtranscations.
Tron: I'm inclined to give any game that takes place in a computer land and uses programming or mechanical terminology a free pass! Interestingly, this has some association with the Snake game, as they have similar gameplay and Snake games are sometimes called Light Cylce games, after this one. It has an interesting history; the graphical system was chosen largely because it was believed it was more likely to be achieved before the deadline.
NO BUSINESS IN THE HALL OF FAME
Mattel Football: I do feel a little mean putting anything in this category; firstly because I don't want to make actual fans of something sad, and secondly because I believe you can probably find notability anywhere you look, if you are inclined. And here is the chief difficulty with this one: I could not find any real information in this one. It has no Wikipedia page, a google search only led to undescriptive links of SALES for the game, but not any information on the game itself. Notability is my main resource for sorting these entries, and honestly? If google has nothing on you, that's a pretty poor sign. Sorry, Mattel Football, but you look like a poor man's Game And Watch. You're no Portal, Myst or Pole Position.

@2187s LEFT A NIGHTMARE AFTER THE TONE: 🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝 !!!
Tumblr media
@rapturcd - Where to start to describe a friend? Nox is a close online friend whom I’ve had the pleasure of following for the last few years now. We’ve been able to keep up with each other from blog to blog, and continued to do so when she revived this blog right here, a Bioshock oc. I’ll admit that when I saw her move here, I had no clue what the hell Bioshock was other than some video game. I’ve been graced with so many exciting details, passion has been poured into every message and post she makes upon the dash, it instantly made me a fan of this little franchise. Though the Bioshock rpc is small, Nox has found a way to make it her own. Her blog is filled with so much helpful information, and one look at her extremely well thought out, and detailed OC page will tell you all you need to know about this vast universe. With every OC she makes, it’s done with love and care, but something about Nicholas is truly special. Aside from being from one of the most interesting and unique fandoms, Nicholas was crafted with more detail than the gods could give any living being. Nox is also a plot driven writer, I know I am too so if that’s your thing, you’ll be glad to know not only is she a peach but she’s very fun to bounce ideas with! She helped me learn so much about Bioshock, it made plotting feel effortless and an overall thrill. If you don’t follow her, not only are you missing out, but I’ll personally be offended on her behalf.
@segadore - It’s been a few years now, and I have not been able to get Fawn off of my tail, damn you— I’M KIDDING, no but really, Fawn and I have been buddies for the last few years, and I started following her on her Steve Harrington blog. I’ve already gushed in the past about how much I love her Steve, so in the same way she’s so kindly embraced my OCs, I’d like to do the same with hers. Let’s start off with this: Fawn is the one person I see constantly and without a second thought embracing all writers, you could write an oc, canon muse from a different fandom, female oc, doesn’t matter– she will love them like her own. You speak with Fawn ooc, and you’ll feel at home, you’re never a bore nor bother. They’re one of the few people in this RPC I feel so genuinely safe around, and they make me feel like a valued writer even when I’m being ignored by others on the dash, I feel important, and it’s thanks to them. Fawn writes a very amazing muse named Mykah, from what can only be described as a non-existent fandom. I learned about Dead Like Me through her, and I’ve since been completely hooked on this concept and universe. Mykah is a very special, and well-thought out muse. He’s a soul collecting reaper from California, and he’s got so much wit, charm, and attitude, how could you not love the guy? He’s got a tough exterior, but he’s so funny as well, you can tell when you’re reading something Fawn wrote, they have such a unique tone, your eyes will be glued to the screen instantly as soon as you see a reply in your inbox. From the bottom of my heart, I hope we continue to write for years to come. If you want some fresh content you’ve never seen before, and perhaps one of the kindest friends, with the most goddamn creative mindset, please, go look at Fawn’s content. For the love of GOD go look.
@wyntered - You know how when your favorite musician or celebrity makes a post on Instagram or twitter, you go “Ah! There’s _____ again, classic ol’ _____, love them.” and you get all giddy in your seat, overwhelmed just by their presence even if it isn’t for you? That’s how I feel everytime I read each and everyone of Chantelle’s posts. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t get to read all of my rp partners replies to other folks, sometimes I’m too busy, or honestly? I don’t feel like it. But the amount of effort and research they’ve put into this, how could I not? I love reading both her replies to myself and other people, I love reading her meta posts and headcanons, because I know it’ll not only be helpful but just wonderful. It’s also so nice to see how much care she’s put into writing such a complicated man like Bucky Barnes, her portrayal is uniquely her own, and she’s truly made sure to set a realistic example for others. I’ve learned so much, and it’s thanks to her. They’ve also been so gracious in writing with my own Marvel OC, Alice, and never act annoyed or bothered. That’s not something you often find with people who write popular canon muses, but it’s something I’ve been lucky enough to find with Chantelle. Do yourself a favor, buckle up, and get excited. Go and give her a follow, because I just know in my heart she’ll be more than happy to embrace you with open arms. Thanks for giving me the most iconic and kickass friendship for my daughter! It’s probably obvious to y’all by now that I love Chantelle’s work, so you know this message is genuine.
@capnsolo - I found out a few weeks ago that Kayla and I have been mutuals for years, and neither of us knew it. We’ll ignore that for now. I know Kayla as the most fantabulous Han Solo mun on the block, no really, she’s amazing. We found each other again because I writer princess Leia ( over on @/hopescorned ) and well… SCOUNDRESS! Together, we’ve managed to create our own little version of canon to their storyline, and we continue to develop it each time we speak. I’m not very good at articulating my thoughts, but my point is, Kayla is a very skilled, and creative woman. She’s smart, she knows how to use canon as a crutch, but doesn’t rely on it. She let’s her brain do the talking, and she knows how to collaborate well with others, and happens to be very open minded and flexible to other people’s muses. No matter how outlandish the idea might be for a story, Kayla will find a way to work with it. I’ve never seen someone capture Han’s tone so well, each time I read one of her replies, I can truly see and hear Harrison Ford acting each of the stories we create, out in my head. She has a way with her words, and she’s a true talent. Please, even if Star Wars isn’t your think, at least give her work a chance, it’ll be a pleasant surprise.
@nostlgic - Ash & I have been writing together since February, and the day we started speaking, they were one of the kindest souls I’ve been graced with speaking to. A passionate writer, you’ll be pleasured to see that their muse list is rather long, and diverse. Ash is the kind of writer that is always up for the challenge. You have an OC no one is interested? Cool, Ash is now interested in writing with them. You have a crazy rp idea you want to pursue? Ash is the first in line to give it a try. Whenever I write with Ash, I know it’s going to be a new and exciting adventure, each story is different from the next, and with each muse, they shift tones effortlessly; Stephen King would envy them. I made a post probably a month or two ago about how I wanted to write with an Edward Scissorhands, and within approximately 10 seconds, they volunteered to add him to her muse roster, and a mutual friend of ours even went to comment “I was going to tag Ash but it seems she’s already here” and why is that? That’s just the kind of person Ash is, and I truly love it. Go and peep her profile, because I can guarantee there’s at least one muse you’ll want to write with.

For the ask game, a fluffy fox appears! 🌟 - something you want? 🐱 - pets? 🎮- favourite games? 💛 - opinion on Ellie and Scratte from Ice Age?
@nights-flying-fox hello dear fox! Please take a seat. All fluff is welcome to this tribe!! 😜
Tumblr media
🌟- something you want?
Tumblr media
...I want her to be real...(ŏ̥̥̥̥ωŏ̥̥̥̥ )
XD ok but in all seriousness^^''
Something I really want is to travel to many different places! Visit other cultures and explore the nature and the wonders I've beed missing of it! Does that count?? 😅
🐱- Pets?
Tumblr media
Two dogs in fact! The big one's name is "Jack" and the little one "Noah".
Both are really good boys that always make of my life a journey full of surprises and laughs!!^^
🎮- Favourite games?
Uh-oh that's a hard one!
I have played so many games and absolutely each and every single one of them has been a unique experience that it's honestly hard to pick just a few (^▽^;)
I have a mess of a library when it comes to games tastes but I think I can pick the ones I identify with the most! So... Top.5!!
1.The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess:
Tumblr media
>Link goes Awooo. XD
The addition of wolf link was such a great idea! This was the very first TLoZ game I've played so holds a very special place in my heart for introducing me to such an amazing universe and it's amazing soundtrack^^
Also Midna! That little imp is everything I wish to have as my loyal companion :P
2.Halo Reach:
Tumblr media
>Epic soundtrack with a very emotional story and setting, what else can I ask?
Halo not only was my introduction to FPS genre, the universe of these games is so vast and the story is so deep and complex. Reach however takes a deep dive focusing in the humanity losing and it's fight for survival that makes for a very emotional story which I love! A great prequel for one of the most devastating events in the halo lore. That's what makes this game one of my favorites.
3.Dead Space:
>I know what you are thinking 😅
Why is there a horror survival game in this list! lol;;
Tumblr media
Well, simple! Space and awesome helmets that's why!! XD
I love games with an awesome level of immersion and detail to the surroundings and this game did that and more to the point that honestly!  This game is a true gem in the horror genre 👀
4.Portal 2:
Tumblr media
>Playing with portals was never been so much fun! I love the mistery of these games and how eerie it feels despite its calm nature due to the dark past of the facilities where the events of this game take place! Each character is interesting and has a lot to convey. Plus, the fact that there is a huge connection with Half Life makes for a unique story full of theories and complements that mistery I highly enjoy of this types of games 😋
5.Half Life 2:
Absolute interdimensional chaos... My favorite 😳 XD
Tumblr media
Ok;; I guess it's pretty obvious how much I enjoy games focused on an imminent invasion and mass destruction lol
I love how creative these games get with all these interdimensional creatures invading earth.
Half life mixes everything I love about my previous picks on this list! The mystery, a very intriguing plot, memorable characters and also very remarkable quotes 😋
I can say many more things about these games but this is to summarize!!
Also, Honorable mentions!!:
Crash bandicoot 2, Spider-man ps4, Dark Souls, God of War, Mario Galaxy 1&2, Bioshock Infinite and many many more 😜
💛- Opinions on Ellie and Scratte from Ice Age:
» Scratte:
Tumblr media
Oh man... What CAN'T I say about her (*´▽`*)lol
Despite not being the main course of the movie she was definitely the main attraction for me! X3
She is truly an enigma and one I aspire to piece together 😝
Behind that merciless and sassy attitude I'm sure there is an angel without an aura waiting to been seen and here I am digging for that treasure 😍
She is beautiful imp full of many hidden tricks up her sleeve and I love absolutely everything about her! 🐿🔥💗
»Ellie:
Tumblr media
She is a lovely mother and the voice of reason for both her family and friends! A well hearted friend with a desire to keep her family and friends united that is as big as herself!
She is a great personality and someone I wish to be friends with :D
Thanks for the ask!! And sorry for the long wait;; I really enjoyed this and I can't wait to answer more questions soon! 😉

Don’t Call Me (SHINee) - liveblog reaction
I’m finally sinking my teeth into the new SHINee album. For the title track, this is doubling as an MV reaction too.
Don’t Call Me - I’ve never seen a SHINee music video before! Concept is immediately intriguing, like what’s the story here? Oh, the vibe of the music is unexpected. I like this styling that reminds me of a raven. I really like the beat. I hope there’s a dance practice video, because I like the choreography and want to see more of it. I’m sure this set is mostly CG but I LOVE it. Kinda reminds me of the five minutes of Bioshock that I played. Creepy masks remind me of NCT 127′s “Simon Says” MV. I think my least favorite part of the song, musically, is the repeated “Don’t call me, don’t call me,” chant during the chorus? I do quite like Onew’s voice. Okay, I really like this shot of the phone submerged underwater. Holy shit this piano??? LOVE IT. Taemin’s voice is also very strong. Oh, I like the typography subbing a 7 in for the apostrophe on “don’t” because it’s their 7th album.
Rest of the album below the cut because long post:
Heart Attack - The very opening instrumental reminded me of “First Love” by NCT 127, but once the vocals started, the whole vibe shifted. It’s smooth but driving. And I like it. Makes me want to dance. The bassline makes me very happy. Oh hey, I think I’ve reached the point where I can distinguish Taemin’s voice from the others. (Makes sense since I’ve listened to a few of his solo songs and also SuperM.) Wow, the ending snuck up on me.
Marry You - Funky. I really like this bassline, but I don’t care for the lyrics “Girl, I just want to marry you, right here, here now.” I mean, it’s about what I was expecting based off the title, but it’s just not my thing. Another pretty smooth song. It’s fine, but not doing much for me, musically. I guess I appreciate the harmony in the chorus. Voice at the 2:44 mark is nice. (Edit: I looked it up, and it’s Onew. I have been somewhat prone to his voice in the past, so that checks out.)
CØDE - Just based off the title alone, if this song doesn’t go hard, I’m going to be disappointed. Promising start. The synthy instrumental is doing things for me. Oooh, a very driving beat. Someone at the 0:42 mark has a head voice. (Edit: Looked it up, and it’s Key, which is unexpected to me for whatever reason.) Okay, this song doesn’t go that hard, but I’m still digging it. Really into the instrumental, honestly. Holy head voice at 1:24. If it isn’t the same person as before, color me impressed. (Edit: It’s Onew. Huh.) The “let’s crack the code!” beginning of the chorus reminds me one of “Hitchhiking.” Actually, I bet someone with better audio-editing skills than me could make a really compelling mashup of “Hitchhiking” and this song.
I Really Want You - I like the opening instrumental a lot. Less sold on this spoken vocals. This has a kind of old school vibe. I’m into the little guitar backing riff during the verses. Very peppy, you know. It’s a nice enough song, but I doubt it’s one I’m going to come back to. Around 2:50, it just hit me that this “I really wantcha, ooh, babe” bit really reminds of “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” by Michael Jackson.
Kiss Kiss - I think I’m going to this like based off the bassline and opening harmony, but we’ll see. Oh, it’s smoother than I was expecting. Loving the harmonies, yes. Laugh at 1:38 mark, yes. (Edit: Minho, maybe? If it is, I think this is the first time I’ve specifically reacted to something from him haha.) The chorus makes me wanna dance. I may never get over how much I like these harmonies, actually, wow.
Body Rhythm - Okay, I think this song has been like a fancam meme on twitter, or something? Big fan of this beat. It’s like a slow samba. Oh man, whoever sings “Won’t you follow my body rhythm? Come on, follow my body rhythm,” at 0:47... good sir, your voice and delivery is immaculate. (Edit: Wait, it’s Taemin? And after I claimed that I thought I could recognize his voice now lmao. Damn, he sounds so good. I misread the color-coded lyrics video, and it’s actually Key singing this part. Thank you @subtextread for the correction, and thank you, Key, for your amazing voice.) This song REALLY makes me want to dance. Specifically, it makes me want to choreograph. Singer of the chorus at 1:45, I don’t think it’s the same person as before, and I don’t like it quite as much, but it’s still very nice. (Edit: It’s Onew, which is funny, because I’ve tended to like his voice a lot.) A strong contender for favorite song on the album.
Attention - Why does the intro make me think of “0 Mile” by NCT 127? Like, not to be a NCT fanboy on main (lol), but the cadence of it is very similar, despite the songs have very different vibes. Mr. Head Voice is back at 0:42. (Edit: So actually it’s Taemin, which means it’s *checks notes* a different Mr. Head Voice than the other two I’ve already mentioned, so. Welp.) Actually, this song also reminds me of one of the songs off NCT 127′s Neo Zone, but fuck, which one? Oh my god, I’m going to have to relisten to a slew off Neo Zone that I don’t otherwise listen to in order to figure this out, because otherwise, it will bother me forever. (Edit: I was thinking of “FOOL,” which is... not off Neo Zone. Oops.) Wow, sorry that so much of my reaction to this song was just me thinking about NCT 127 songs.
Kind - Interesting, unexpected vibe. Okay wait, does SHINee really end every album with a ballad-y song? Brb, checking my other SHINee liveblogs. *Magic 8 ball voice* All signs point to yes. This song is fine, but not likely one I’ll come back to. The harmonies are nice, classic SHINee. Gah, what is the name of this vocal effect used at 3:05 (and also at the very beginning)? I’ve heard it used in other songs, but what is it??
