what’s up with hulu’s hardy boys show? I just found it and binged it in two days. I’ve read some of the books before and it’s definitely not the same, it’s got it’s own thing going on. but it’s entertaining. it’s set in the 80s. characters are solid, good chemistry, actors are great. s1 was fun. plot towards the end of s2 gets crazy. killer cliffhanger. then I go on tumblr and it’s like a ghost fandom. there’s like four people here. what’s going on lol

hey i just want to say that i agree with you i love the hardy boys show on hulu and JB cox is my favorite character and i really did not like it or love the fact that he died/got killed i cried so bad it was so sad and i was so pissed and mad hoping and wishing that it was a joke and a fake out and that he'd be ok and alive in the end and get a happy ending but i was wrong also i do desperately wish that were more fanfics out there for jb or with him and joe's friendship it's so underrated fandom wise come on people in the fanbase where are you at?! please write more fics/storys like that's all i want especially since it ends with my favorite character dying

Omg, nonnie, yes!! 😭😭😭 completely agree!! Honestly, I think if the show ever got a continuation, he would SO be back. Pretty sure he was a fan favorite, and fan favorites have been getting more love lately, I feel. 🥺

Cause it seems like a fake out right??? Or maybe he was going to die but the ambulance came in time? I’m really not sure if anyone got word from police or the hospital on what happened to JB. Just Frank’s call? (Maybe I’m wrong???)

So he could have totally gotten away with a fake name or something else after being admitted.

I don’t know if that lessens the plot or anything cause the story was ultimately about moving on and loss, but for real I just don’t see why he would have to die for that. 😭

He was such a good big brother to Joey. 🥺 If I muster up the time and energy, I’ll definitely keep them in mind for my art! ❤️

So lately I've been watching Hardy boys (Hulu) and finished with Season 3. And honestly, i LOVED the series. Especially S2 & S3 are my fav!

And ofc, not to mention, I've had a solid Deja Vu, in best possible way. So many parallels with Nancy Drew (The CW). So many similar episodes/ scenes. Names,

Lucy (who is a red head), Ted CARSON, Abigail OWENS, Biff (Elizabeth), DREW Darrow, LAURA Hardy, (So many more.)

I highly recommend fans to watch the Hardy Boys. You'll realise the prove that Ace being a Hardy boy was right there. (I'm realising it now coz i didn't watch S2 any sooner).

Here are some refrences/parallels that just can't be ignored.

1. The Claw / WILT'S Deli (a hanging spot of the detective gang)

2. The blue house.

(Nancy's house / The Hardy's house)

3. ✨FLORENCE✨ and the family car of the Hardy boys. (So technically Ace is driving his father's car 💀)

This parallel/reference was a STRAIGHT prove that Ace is Hardy boy. And it was right under our noses, from the day one.

4. Ace and Joe dress up in the exact same way. 💀
