Is anyone else INSANELY curious where/when Ahsoka was/what she was doing when Anakin appeared to her as a force ghost? I'd hope it was very shortly after his death, but can you imagine the emotions the two of them must have been experiencing?
Like imagine she's just going about her life, happy that the Empire has been defeated, when she hears a voice. "Ahsoka," he says, gently. She turns around, and, engulfed in the blue glow of a force ghost, she smiles, tears in her eyes. "Anakin?" He nods slightly.
She starts to run towards him, then realizes he's a force ghost, and so she can't embrace him in the hug she wanted to. Still, she is overjoyed to see he was saved. He didn't die as the hateful monster he once was, he died as himself.
"I'm sorry, Master," she says quietly, "I failed you. If I hadn't left..."
"Stop," he says gently, raising his hand. "I was already falling to him. If you hadn't left the Order, you would have died too. If anything, I failed you, Ahsoka."
And then they get to rekindle their friendship and he can help counsel her to take care of the remnants of the Empire. He can lead her to Luke, who she decides to mentor, just a bit, because she sees so much of Anakin in him. His desire to protect people. But he lacks some of the traits that allowed Anakin to fall into hatred. He is more levelheaded than his father, less impulsive. She councils him on how to push emotions aside when needed, on how she values life, something she carried with her from Master Plo Koon.
I have always loved Ahsoka, because she shows such growth as she ages, without fundamentally changing. When she is younger, she is overly cocky and proud and a little impulsive, but still a good person. As she ages and matures, she becomes wiser and more self-controlled, all without becoming perfect.

the wolves inside me: loving ahsoka tano hours vs being portrayed by rosario dawson + my increasing ambivalence in how older ahsoka is being turned into zen white gandalf vs my love for rebels crew vs how i think liveaction (apart from andor) has been very mid.
FIGHT.

The last (4) Jedi time traveling to the Clone Wars era is just a comedic goldmine. Erza’s chasing after young and adorable Caleb Dune while Depa chases him to get him to leave her Padawan alone. Cal and Ahsoka and trying to make sure no one meets their younger selves, most of all themselves because they’d have questions for Big Soka and Cal. Luke’s just smiling like a sun in the middle of all the chaos, happy to see Yoda again.
alternatively, Cal and Ahsoka are trying to heal their childhood traumas through various means:

considering shaak ti was like 6'2" i love the idea that female togrutas are taller on average than female humans. this is in part motivated by the fact that i love leaning into the carnivore/predator vibes of togruta bc i think we all deserve a lil more adventurous alien biology. but it is also in part bc i love the trope of younger characters being taller than older characters.
please see the vision: when ahsoka first passes 6'0" in height and is taller than obi-wan, anakin loses his SHIT and won't shut up about it. he's so fucking giddy about it bro. teasing obi-wan is like, his favorite thing to do aside from hang out with padme. the height jokes now that obi-wan is officially the shortest out of the trio are marvelous and anakin loves every moment of it.
but then... then ahsoka keeps growing. and soon she's 6'1" and anakin is getting a bit nervous, though he vehemently denies it when asked. and then she's 6'2" aka anakin's exact height and still growing and suddenly anakin doesn't find the height jokes funny any more.
...and then, one day, she inches past anakin. and suddenly anakin finds himself the butt of all of the jokes he made about obi-wan, but it's a million times worse because he's used to being the tallest. please please PLEASE imagine all of the different expressions (and colors) that would cross anakin's face the first time ahsoka rests an elbow on his head or, gods forbid, calls him "shorty."
tldr: i think ahsoka deserves to be tall and buff enough to carry her masters like this, as a treat:
