Is there any way to anonymously post a fic on AO3? My OTP is unfortunately deemed problematic by the fandom circles I exist around and I don't want to be lambasted for providing fanwork for my fellow rarepair shippers.

There are two ways to go about it that I'm aware of:

create a second AO3 account and don't tell anyone it's yours. And I mean anyone. As with any secret, telling one person means the possibility of more people also finding out.

add your fic to one of the many Anonymous collections on AO3. With this option, be aware of the fact that the collection creator can always see the true AO3 user identities of people whose fics are in their collection. If that makes you uncomfortable, you can always create your own.

I answered an ask forever ago about adding works to anonymous collections, and you can find that answer over here, if you want the details.

i wanna share the genshin impact ships i enjoy and why (mostly rarepairs)

Rosaria/Kaeya - undeniable trust and friendship turned romantic interest. though capable of forming a relationship, their occupation and circumstances prevent them from fully pursuing it. Even if all factors could ignite mutual interest, the fear of ruining the friendship they harbored would stand in the way. What's important in a lonesome city is the same stranger who is looking for the same comfort you seek. Frequent liar or not, he's quite the personality to have around.

Jean/Diluc - everyone says they are exes turned lovers however I view them as the failed chance at love. They are friends who knew each other since they were learning to walk type of friendship. The first love you never forget. If they were given the chance, they could say what they want to the other. "You look even better after you became a stranger to me, pretty woman"

Yelan/Ningguang - The what could've beens. similar to jealuc but in ninglan it's focus is more on the one-sided, unrequited type of love. (using Beiguang for this example) watching the one you love fall for someone you know she deserves hurts. It hurts because you know you could've been with her if not for your own issues. thankfully she will never know you love her since that love will die with you

Rosaria/Jean - oh god where do i begin with this. The "outcast" meets the city's beloved individual. For someone who feels they never belong, its confusing to have the city's hope make excuses to see you. Rosaria and Jean's relationship begins with jealousy due to the nun and the idol deaconess' relationship. What makes Barbara look at Rosaria the way Jean always wanted? Filled with concern and trust that only families have for one another. Giving that to a complete stranger is agonizing.

Lisa/Jean - coworkers to lovers <3. A workaholic learning the simplicities of life from the reliable, easygoing, gentle person. When she'd forget to take care of herself mentally, she'd be there. Unknowingly providing comfort with just her presence alone.

Beidou/Ningguang - Two people who rule and have a significant influence on the community. Bickering and arguing over the smallest things yet loving each other for the same reason. What makes these two so wonderful is the fact that they both witnessed each other overcome difficulties in their own manner. They both achieved goals that brought them together in some way. Competing with which one would make the other prouder.

Venti/Zhongli - centuries have gone and past, and yet home always had the same eyes and breeze. When it comes to gods, the only one they could consider as equal are the same immortals who suffer with them. Why does meeting each other again bring so much comfort and pain? How many friends did they watch come and go like sand through the wind? Thankfully, they can overcome these uncertainties together. Until they could no longer control the corrosion within them.

Surcrose/Rosaria - When your curiosity leads to people questioning your character, the person you gravitate towards is someone similar. Sucrose would have a lot on her mind and would desperately need someone to talk to. Rosaria always wanted to learn more about the world but never had the guts to say it out loud. The mutual silence between them could be a conversation. "I have something on my mind, but I have difficulties saying it" and "Take your time. No rush."

Kaeya/Albedo - Understanding your past from the product of the past can be an interesting combo. Kaeya and Albedo are two perspectives of the Khaenri’ahn existence. The truth is never black or white, in fact, the truth is always relative. Messing around with your coworker because of mutual origins grives a sense of comfort in the city where everyone knows everyone.

Ganyu/Keqing - coworker who has false impressions towards each other. A tender and careful love formed from the desire to protect their city. Patience is a virtue especially for Ganyu. However, with all the years she had lived, days with Keqing always felt like love personafied.

Xiao/Traveler - what cannot be may be. One's duties always hinder relationships, but there will always be someone stubborn enough to reach out. Someone once said that unnecessary suffering is not a proof of strength. Relying on others is difficult but if it's with the person they love, one could only hope that they're not a burden. Thankfully, they don't give a damn about your stubbornness and go out of their way to talk and spend time with you. Since you know that these times wouldn't last.

Ayaka/Yoimiya - The different lives we live shouldn't turn us into strangers. In a life where expectations are laid upon you, finding freedom and happiness incarnate is like grasping sunlight. Ayaka knows she has her duties but spending time with Yoimiya makes her forget the time. Grief and loss often isolate us from relationships (including socioeconomic circumstances). Thankfully the eternal shogun's antithesis stays by your side.

Itto/Sara - Our beliefs do not align, but if someone talks shit about the other. Someone will be getting punched or electrocuted. Being a Yokai in human society always leads to discrimination unless you are equipped with power and unimaginable influence. Seeing each other's most vulnerable sides in the most unexpected times always led to curiosity. Curiosity leading to interest. And interest leading to fondness.

Al Haitham/Kaveh - Unconventional ways of saying "i love you" almost always lead to someone's wrinkly forhead. If turning himself into Kaveh's personal screaming outlet would let him relax, Al haitham would gladly do it. What happened in the past has long gone, and what's left is to continue. Is it so difficult to let him love you?

Candace/Dehya - Every neighborhood child's first loves daring each other. Duty is always the priority. Traveling the world will come one day but not today. If that is someone's belief, then someone will bring the world to them. Even if it's small material gifts, its treasured dearly. Just make sure not to come home bruised and covered in wounds. Else a medicated scolding (and some kisses) would be perscribed by the village's resident guardian.

Thanks to the lovely @femmefighter I've recently fallen head over heels in love with the wonderful Sokabine (Ahsoka Tano/Sabine Wren) ship. It's a rarepair, so I thought it would be nice to show it a little love.

i was spinning a wheel of every ii character and doing random ships (via taking every two characters and shipping them together), and at some point i got suitcase x floory and i was like. oh wow the aussies.

and now im obsessed. imagining floory like... helping suitcase through her mental stuff!!!! suitcase providing friendly company to floory!!! oh my god.

i keep imagining how them meeting eachother would go. dya think suitcase would think shes just hallucinating a whole ass living island. everyone else in iii was freaked out by him at first so, logically, suitcase would see him and go "i guess im losing my marbles"

I think that the mauraders Fandom is annoying as hell sometimes. They act like the have a superiority over other hp fans cause they proudly state they throw cannon in the garbage. They flood every comment section that's not about them so they can talk about Mauraders which is weird considering that they have so much content they don't need more.

With remus it's crazy cause they treat fanon like its cannon and will talk about how he smokes cigarettes and wears doc martens as if he robbed sirius closet. They also refuse to admit remus does any wrong and treat it like a cardinal sin if you mention one of his cannon flaws.

we are annoying 😭 sometimes i get really bad secondhand embarrassment looking at comment sections of like a tiktok about fandom the marauders stans fill the damn thing up to the brim. the comments under a post being like, slightly critical of a characterisation are sometimes okay (provided it reaches the right audience) but if remus/sirius gets disliked? or james/regulus? the homophobia accusations are EVERYWHERE. then the tumblr complaints about “we don’t talk enough about this ship” or “we don’t talk enough about that character”, like they’ve never had the experience of enjoying a rarepair. i don’t frequent marauders twitter (if it all), but i know through the grapevine that it’s one of the worst.

the remus re-characterisation is so intriguing. a specific, really impressive fic that i have not read is partially “to blame” for this, though the author acknowledged that remus’ background was not canon compliant and the changes affected his character, but now it’s treated as canon and he’s snowballed into this cool, suave, snarky and disinterested ‘bad boy’-type who’s so tall he has to bend to fit through doorways and has lots of muscle under his temu t-shirt. i tend to make remus a smoker (mainly because smoking was common for many people in the 70s, 80s and 90s) but by god, that man is NOT cool.

he has many flaws in this characterisation (because he’s, simply put, a humongous and vile asshole to literally everybody, specifically his supposed soulmate sirius) but they’re not treated as flaws—just parts of his cool personality. they make him poc, partially for rep, but then they make him aggressive and harsh. i don’t see why he can’t be poc as well as a shy, fearful, tea-drinking and sweater-wearing dork whose flaws are mainly running away from “problems” and making up issues in his head that he’s terrified of coming true.

bringing up canon in anyway gets rebutted with a “we don’t care about canon because it’s sucks”. which is fine, really, but why are you in the fandom then? these characters (at least by name, and their parents, and their family background and their role in society and maybe their hogwarts house, house house, future deaths, which side of the war they were on, hints of their personality) were canonical. like, i can’t stress this enough—they’re part of canon. at least mentioned in them, sometimes only by last name but sometimes also by their entire name. hogwarts, the magic spells, diagon alley and knockturn alley and gringotts, the invisibility cloak, the families… voldemort and his death eaters, dumbledore and his order, the aurors, that’s ALL the potterverse. they think canon sucks but they still use it. please just… go to a different fandom, maybe? another one with a magic school and society?

Highly Irregular Fargo Week 2024

(Anniversary Edition!)

Highly Irregular Fargo Week is a weeklong fanworks event celebrating rare characters in both the FX series Fargo and the 1996 Coen Brothers movie which inspired it.

This year's event will mark the 10th anniversary of the Fargo TV series premiering on FX in 2014. It will run from Monday, April 15, to Monday, April 22, 2024 — because a week with eight days is highly irregular.

OPTIONAL SCHEDULE:

MONDAY: Anniversaries TUESDAY: Backstories WEDNESDAY: Characters with Zero AO3 Works THURSDAY: Rarepairs* FRIDAY: Female Characters SATURDAY: Never Met in Canon SUNDAY: “The future is…” BONUS DAY: Highly Irregular

What counts as a highly irregular character?

Highly irregular characters are rare characters. For the purposes of this event, characters with under 50 works in the Fargo (TV) and Fargo (1996) tags on Archive of Our Own (AO3) as of this posting are considered rare.

For reference, the currently ineligible characters are: Mr. Wrench, Mr. Numbers, Lorne Malvo, Lester Nygaard, and Gator Tillman.

Can my work include a non-rare character?

Non-rare characters may be mentioned or appear briefly, but the major focus of the work should be on at least one rare character. Basically, if the non-rare character’s appearance would warrant them being tagged on AO3, they feature too prominently.

What if my work focuses on a rarepair?

This is a rare character event, not a rarepair event. However, rarepair works are welcome as long as the pairing doesn’t include any non-rare characters.

So, for example, Nikki Swango/Mr. Wrench would be ineligible, because while the pairing itself has under 50 works on AO3, Mr. Wrench as a character has over 50 works.

Are crossovers allowed?

Crossovers between the Fargo TV series and the Fargo movie are allowed. Crossovers with non-Fargo fandoms are not.

Are original characters allowed?

Yes, as long as the work also prominently features at least one rare canon character.

Does it have to be fanfiction? Can I post art or other types of fanwork?

All types of fanwork are welcome, as long as they focus on at least one rare Fargo character. That includes art, GIFs, graphics, fanmixes, fanvids, meta, etc.

Do I have to follow the schedule?

The schedule is completely optional, and is only there to provide inspiration for those who might need it. Feel free to ignore it entirely, or switch around the days.

Where and when should I post my work?

You can add your fanworks to the AO3 collection, and/or post them on Tumblr. For Tumblr posts, be sure to use the tag #hifargoweek2024, and/or mention @hifargoweek in the post.

The collection will open at approximately 12 am EDT on April 15 and close at approximately 11:59 pm EDT on April 22. Eligible works posted on Tumblr during the same period will be reblogged to this account.

Why do you hate [insert popular character here]?

I don’t! The purpose of this event is simply to give more attention to the less popular characters in the fandom, and to challenge fans to stretch their creative muscles.

Are there any other requirements?

Nope! Works of any length, rating, category, and archive warning are eligible. Feel free to post as many works as you’d like, as long as they meet the requirements for rare characters.

LHS Haymitch Rarepair Ramble #2: Haymitch/Hazelle

Hi again everyone! I promised I’d post more Haymitch rarepair rambles and now I’m finally going to do it!

I think Haymitch and Hazelle are the second most popular of all the Haymitch rarepairs I ship (I think y’all can guess what the most popular one is haha) and for good reason! I think they have a lot of potential.

Before we get started, let me be clear that I do not envision their relationship developing into anything romantic until after Mockingjay. I’m open to some interactions between them in Mockingjay, but not while she’s still employed by him.

With that preamble out of the way, let’s get started.

The root of this ship, just like the pairing of Haymitch and Mrs. Everdeen (check out my analysis post here if you’re curious), stems from the fact that both Haymitch and Hazelle play paternal roles in Katniss’ life. Pairing her primary paternal figure with a major maternal figure in her life feels intuitive. They both know and care for her and she needs that kind of support in her life.

But let’s step away from Katniss, because there’s a lot more about Haymitch and Hazelle as a couple that really appeals to me beyond their connection to and fondness for Katniss.

A lot of their relationship, to me, centers around Hazelle's family, actually. Think about it. Posy never knew her father at all and Rory and Vick were both very young when their father died. They probably don't have a very good memory of him. They need a father figure who is actually old enough to be their father, and Haymitch needs company after being cooped up in that giant house alone for decades. I think having other people to take care of again would bring him a sense of purpose and having a more secure support network would help his addiction. After all those years of children slipping through his fingers and seeing their families' disappointed faces, he can finally bring someone's family joy.

Of course, Gale also lost his father at a very key part of his development. I think he could use a paternal figure in his life, also. I definitely think he and Haymitch would have a rocky start. Gale is so used to being the male provider and after what happened during the war, he may feel like the only reason his family wants around is because he contributes financially. Haymitch and Gale do come from similar backgrounds, however: being the oldest son and child of a single mother who had to step up at a young age, and I think having that mutual experience could help bridge that initial gap. After Gale is able to shed his insecurities, I think he’d take great relief in the burden Haymitch has taken off of his shoulders and be grateful that he’d actually get to be a young adult. also, I think Haymitch and Hazelle’s relationship could be a good example for gale, teaching him how to have healthier romantic and platonic relationships.

Back to Hazelle herself, though. That woman has busted her ass and worked herself to the bone to keep her kids alive for five years! I'm sure having a partner would take a lot of that weight off of her shoulders. I see her as someone who wants to give back to the community, so I don't think she'd stop working, per se, but with Haymitch’s support, she could find work that is more enjoyable for her, work a little less, and spend more time with her children as a result. Not to mention, I'm sure she would feel a lot safer having a man around the house, especially after the war when everything is new and uncertain.

I decided to not have these two share a past, or at least not very much of one. I had Haymitch be friends with Hazelle’s older brother before his Games (name pending), meaning he only ever saw her (three years his junior) as his friend's little sister/his brother’s friend. I mainly did this because my other Haymitch ships revolve around people who share an extensive past with him and I didn't want to be too repetitive. Plus, I think them not having a past makes things less complicated/makes starting a relationship between them a lot easier. This is only my personal interpretation, though, as Hazelle's age is never explicitly stated and can easily be played around with. I would be more than fine reading a fic where someone gave them a more detailed past.

Phew! I think that's everything for these two. Hope y'all didn't mind the longer paragraphs. I’ve got two more big rarepairs and two smaller (in that I’m not as passionate about them as the others, but still do enjoy them) rarepairs that I plan to discuss, so stay tuned!

Now, with Dream about to pronounce his punishment on her, Lucienne couldn’t stop staring at the expressions on Gault’s face.

And Gault created beautiful, powerful things for the dreamers she held so dear.

Calliope planted her hands into the mattress on either side of Lucienne’s torso and lifted herself up a little to look down at her, eyes sparkling. The fabric of her pyjamas was soft against Lucienne’s front. Calliope leant down, hair tumbling over her shoulders, and tasted Lucienne’s mirth with her own mouth, savouring it like it was honey, like it was the finest dessert at a queen’s royal table.

[T] Flirting with Death by honeyteacakes/@honeyteacakes (5.6k) (Death/Johanna): “Strange,” the woman replied, looking at Johanna thoughtfully. “Normally I don’t meet people until they’re ready to leave with me, but you’ve got time yet.”

“Might be less time than you think. Mind phoning an ambulance, love?”

Johanna keeps getting her ass kicked. Coincidentally, she keeps running into the same beautiful woman. Those things probably aren’t related, right?

(Recommended for those who want to see Johanna be a pathetic little meow-meow and for those who think Kirby Howell-Baptiste might be one of the most beautiful women alive.)

[T] Birds and Bees in the Belfry by Karalyn/@karalynlovescake (1.3k) (Delirium of the Endless/Poison Ivy/Harley Quinn): When you're in an odd three-way relationship with the anthropomorphic personification of delight and delirium, you don’t get to choose your own pet names.

[M] Starts and Stops by goblininawig (11.5k) (Calliope/Johanna): Constantine just wanted to be paid, not to get involved with a mythical entity. Calliope just wanted to be free, not to fall in love again. But that's exactly what happened.

[E] Right Hand Ladies by Karalyn (2.1k) (Lucienne/Mazikeen): While waiting for their respective bosses to finish their “meeting of state” (a thinly veiled excuse for them to hook up,) Lucienne and Mazikeen commiserate about their jobs, their respective lords, and find an enjoyable way to pass the time.

[E] Sea Change by Cafephile (3.1k) (Gault/Lucienne): "What brings you here, Gault? Not that I am not glad of your company," Lucienne hastens to add because it is true, and she would not want the dream to feel unwelcome.

"Are you?" Gault asks. "You never seemed to like me much before."

Gault visits Lucienne in the library to clear the air. They end up doing far more than that.

[E] East of everywhere is Hell (7.6k) (Ric the Vic/Johanna): Written for the Sandman Femslash Weekend prompt: Meet-Ugly

The day Erica Patel (Ric to everyone except official bureaucracies) learned that, contrary to every rational instinct she had, demons were in fact real and able to possess people, was unfortunately also the day she met Johanna Constantine. At the moment it was a tossup which part made the day worse.

Kayla swore as she rushed towards the school, knowing she was late, hoping against hope that Shania wasn't too worried. Luke's flight had been cancelled, Reggie was stuck at a shoot, and that left Kayla to pick up her goddaughter.

Of course she was coming off shooting a music video for Dirty Candi and she was still in her Lilac Candi gear, huffing and puffing in the halls of an elementary school.

Curse her for going so hard on the choreo for this video!

She stopped to catch her breath, bracing her hands against her knees, hating that this school was so confusing with twisting and turning corridors.

"Can I help you?" a melodic voice sounded from behind her. "You look lost."

Kayla straightened up, and turned around to see a truly gorgeous woman standing there, looking Kayla up and down. Probably wondering why this out of breath crazily dressed woman was in her school.

"I'm here to collect Shania Peterson?" she stated. "I'm Kayla Keone, her godmother? Her dad should have called to let you know I was coming."

The woman's face softened. "Oh yes, Reggie told us to expect you, but did ask me to provide the password?"

Kayla scowled, rolling her eyes. "Han shot first."

The woman giggled, hiding her smile behind her hand. "That would be it. Shania is waiting in the office, I'll bring you. I'm Julie, her music teacher by the way."

"So it's you I have to thank for the numerous recorder concerts?" Kayla asked with a grin.

"Guilty as charged," Julie admitted, leading her through the halls. "The school thought it was the best, cheapest option for the kids to learn to read music and play from them. Of course, given who her dads are, I doubt Shi needs much help there."

"Definitely not," Kayla replied with a chortle. "I swear she sung her first words instead of speaking them."

"So can I ask about the get-up?" Julie asked as they walked past displays of artwork, photos of happy kids, and dioramas that made Kayla long to go back to school if she could go to a place like this.

"Oh, I was shooting a music video?" she replied. "I'm in Dirty Candi, and I didn't have time to change."

"Oh, I think I've heard your music on the radio!" Julie exclaimed. "It's not really my thing, but it's still pretty good."

Kayla nodded, she got that-before meeting Carrie she never thought that electronic pop would be her thing either. But it let her do what she loved-perform, but Carrie also let her design all the choreography, and their last album paid her tuition so she could get a degree in it.

"More of a Sunset Curve fan then?" Kayla asked.

"Oh definitely!" Julie grinned. "It doesn't hurt that I've been friends with Willie since diapers, and helped write a few songs here and there for them."

"You're that Julie!" Kayla almost shrieked. "Wils talks about you all the time, he keeps meaning to get us to meet and it's just never worked out."

"I have an inkling he wants to play matchmaker," Julie whispered. "I can't say I'm opposed to the idea now that we have met."

"Me either," Kayla replied with a blush. She was about to hand Julie her card when a cry from down the hall interrupted her.

"AUNTIE KAY!"

A small blur of dark hair and freckles launched at her, nearly knocking Kayla off her feet. Kayla let out a small grunt before spinning the girl around. "Shi Shi! How's my favourite girl?"

"Better now that you're here," Shania replied, smiling her father's crooked grin up at her. "Can we get ice cream?"

"Of course we can superstar," Kayla assured her. "You got everything?"

Shania's eyes grew wide, and took off back to the office they were standing before, presumably to get her bag.

Kayla chuckled, then turned to Julie. "Kids."

"You have any?" Julie asked.

Kayla bit her lip-technically Shania was hers. She had donated the eggs to Reggie and Luke so they could have a kid. Even offered to carry her, but they had gotten a surrogate instead. They had all agreed to tell Shania when she was a little older, and started asking about her egg donor. So Kayla couldn't really tell Julie about it before Shania knew-even if she was sure Alex and Willie also knew the truth.

Instead she shook her head. "Nope. You?"

Julie laughed. "Every single one in this school is mine-I'm good not having any to go home to."

"Fair enough," Kayla replied, then dug her card out of her purse, handing it to Julie. "If you ever wanna get coffee, see if WIllie's matchmaker tendencies are correct, gimme a call."

Julie blushed, tucking the card into pocket. "I definitely will."

"I'm ready now Auntie Kay!" Shania shouted, coming out of the office, holding her bag in one hand and the strap of her guitar case in the other.

"Well then let's go, that ice cream ain't gonna eat itself!" With that, Kayla shouldered the guitar, smiling at Julie before walking down the hall, loving how the woman blushed, even as Shania called a farewell to her.

"Miss Julie is nice, did she help you find me?" Shania asked.

"She did indeed," Kayla hummed. "Now... how do we get out?"

To be perfectly honest with you, I'm lame as hell. I'm not a shipper and when I am it's usually the more normal stuff everyone in-fandom agrees upon, like I'm a huge fan of wolfspider in Worm and lonelyeyes in TMA! But you see, when I showed this question to my friend, the example they provided for a crackship is so unendingly funny that i've latched onto it now.

Hi anon! God, I haven't been in the ATLA fandom for a long while now, goes to show how dead the zuki fandom is if you're coming to me for it 😭😭😭Rarepair so rare you have to go to an entirely different fandom's blog for your ship. Sad. BUT I APPRECIATE YOU COMING TO ME SO MUCH!!! I am a pokeani blog in spirit but a whateverthefuck/multipurpose blog in practice. I will say though, spicy headcanons are kinda far out of my wheelhouse, and also that fandom's age-up discourse (and everything else discourse) terrifies me so I'm not touching that with a ten foot pole tbh, BUT I can always give other stuff! Ramble under cut.

So, I think I'll just ramble instead of spicy headcanons- one INCREDIBLY FUNNY aspect of Zuki to me is that, in the comics, Suki's kind of giving 'I can fix him', ngl. BUT SHE ACTUALLY CAN, THAT'S THE THING. It's so interesting to me because canon Zuki in the comics is very much founded on that bodyguard/royalty dynamic trust- they have to trust each other with their life if they're going to do the whole bodyguard thing well. And from that trust comes Suki's trust in Zuko as a PERSON. Even when LTIERALLY THE ENTIRE GAANG is like 'ehhh idk he kinda sucks again', Suki's the one who's like 'can you guys chill for .5 seconds and trust him? look at him. he's sad. he needs therapy, not to be killed'.

I think Zuki just WORKS because of that trust. And FROM THAT TRUST, she actually is one of the key reasons they're able to help bring him back from the path he goes down in the comics (which i have not read in forever so pardon innacuracies). So, SHE ACTUALLY CAN FIX HIM. /half joking because obviously it was a ton of his own internal work and growth, but like, from a shitposter's perspective, #icanfixhim.

And that trust goes the other way around the entire way. Not only in Zuko trusting the kyoshi warriors to keep him alive, but Zuko also actually TALKS to Suki and opens up to her in the comics. ZUKO. OPENS UP. TO SOMEONE. AND TALKS TO THEM. AND COMMUNICATES. TO THEM. obviously he trusts her as a bodyguard and a friend IMMENSELY, which provides that super good foundation for something more. He feels safe around her, physically and emotionally, which I think is an incredibly rare honor. (lol, honor. zuko. ykwim. )

I just like bodyguard royalty ships tbh, I'm also a zelink hoe (my main three ships have always been zuki/zelink/contestshipping. not sure what that says about me tbh, other than 'likes m/f but undeniably bisexual ships'), but like, despite being a rarepair, the comics gave us a GOOD DAMN BASIS FOR IT!!!! IT'S ABOUT THE TRUST! THE VULNERABILITY!!!! ramble over, ty for listening to my ted talk.

Hello! My main account is @ace-aussie-asshole and I decided to make this account to give some attention to rarepairs of the Harry Potter Fandom. You can submit a request and I will get around to it as quickly as I can.

Basic Rules:

When making a request, give me the shipname, the characters involved, any headcanons you want to be included and a prompt (cuddling, mermaid au, coming out, first date etc.).

No hating on characters or ships in the comments.

The ship can be of any generation or subfandom, just let me know what age you want the characters to be in the fanart/fanfic.

I will be accepting light ships, grey ships and dark ships, and they will be tagged as such. So if you don’t want to see anything, block the tag.

If you do not provide me with specific headcanons pertaining to race, sexuality, gender identity, religion, appearance or disabilities, I will go with what we know in canon, or in the case of non-canon queer ships, a randomly selected sexuality.

Be specific when making requests.

This blog is specifically for rarepairs, and I will include most of the popular ships from unpopular subfandoms such as Legacy, Fantastic Beasts, Mystery and The Next Gen since very few people are a part of these fandoms compared to the Marauders and Golden Fandoms.

I will accept canon ships if they’re rarely discussed, but I will not accept canon ships that get a lot of attention.

If you would like to include character bashing in the prompt, such as an abusive scenario, I will use the anti tag for the character and an abusive tag for the ship.

If you request a Marauders or Golden ship I have not heard of, I will go through the tag and decide for myself whether it’s rare. This will be based on how few accounts make content, how many incorrect ships come up under the tag, how many fanfics it has on AO3 where it is the main focus and similar details.

If you request a popular ship or commonpair, your ask will simply be deleted and I will not respond to it, this blog is for rarepairs only.

I will NOT be writing/drawing smut.

Those are the ground rules. If you continually ignore these rules (repeatedly comment hate, keep requesting commonpairs etc.) you will be blocked. This blog is for ships that get very little attention, or no attention at all. Thank you.
