I've... never really ever been to somethin' as fancy as this before. Oh? You want to dance? ...Pfff, sure. Why not?
Tumblr media
Set to home screen: Aight, let's get going.
Home Transition 1: You should've seen how excited Neige was to see Vil here too. But the more I hear about Vil... really makes me wish Neige would take the hint. Don't get me wrong, Neige is sweet as candy, I know, but it's obvious Vil needs some space.
Home Transition 2: I feel like if I make one wrong step, people are gonna look at me like I'm crazy or something. I'm not used to all this etiquette. Welp, not like that's anything new anyway. Let's go have some fun.
Home Transition 3: Yuu's been... huh? Haaa, I swear to Sevens, one moment I think she's missing forever and at the next she's doing whatever the fuck she wants. Just get that cat-thing to distract her for a bit, I'll be over soon enough.
Home Transition 4: If I see one more pinch of glitter getting anywhere near my face, it's on sight. Seriously, I'm gonna be finding this shit everywhere for the rest of my life.
Home, after login: The more time I spent trying to get this whole outfit sorted out, the more I felt conflicted about RSA being invited to this party... but now that I'm here, it's not so bad.
Tap Home 1: I kept having to try on all these uncomfortable dresses before we FINALLY landed on something that suited me. Pants are so much more comfortable anyway. "Who's we?" Ah. Yuu and Neige helped me out a bit.
Tap Home 2: ...Pfff, I've watched Chenya sneak up on like, five different people now. It gets funnier every time. What a dork. That short red head looks so mad-
Tap Home 3: I...uh... think I might've saw someone crying when I came in. Should I... tell someone? I feel bad just leaving 'em be.
Tap Home 4: Hey, look, if you think you're struggling with dancing along, you can come stand on my feet. I know how to lead with this kinda thing... I mean, if you wanna. Not that you're doing bad, I- fuck. You know what I mean.
Tap Home 5: ...You've been hiding under my cape for a good while now. I know it's all shiny and big and whatnot. But do you need something? I'm sure there are other places you could go. Oh? Nah. You're not botherin' me. I just thought you might be getting bored.
Groovification: Hahaha! You shoulda seen their faces when I finally started dancing. Let's out-prince these princes....... man that sounded cheesy. Pfff-
Tap Home Groovy: Whew... I think I'm gonna take a break outside for a bit. Maybe explore NRC campus while I have the chance. Crowley always gets on my case when I sneak in here with the cat boy.
Home Transition Groovy: Ya know, I'd be down to do something like this again. Maybe with more casual clothes, but still. I liked seeing all the shocked looks on peoples faces when they see I actually know how to work this kinda look.

Hi Pile 1! Your FS is coming to let you know that everything is gonna be okay. If you have been in a transformative journey, doubting yourself or just feeling lost, your FS wants to let you know that you are capable of everything and more.

They are you #1 fan Pile 1, so don't be so hard on yourself, "i wish you could see yourself the way that i see you" is what i heard.
Focus in the present and don't worry about what can go wrong, when in fact you should be excited for whats coming next.

You may have achieve a big Milestone in your life or you will achieve something big soon.
Your FS wants to remind you that you work hard so you also deserve to "party hard" is what i heard. They want you to take care pf yourself and remember that you are also a person and not just a robot. It's okay to not be productive 24/7, and it's more than okay to have fun.
Start celebrating your success, even the little ones; you come so far already that they want to give you "a big kiss" is what i heard 😅 Your person is truly something pile 2! Lucky you!
🧡Song:

🧡Pile 3: King of Cups, 10 of Cups and 5 of Cups.
Hi pile 3! Your FS just wants to let you know how much they love you. It's such a beautiful energy to have around honestly. If you have been feeling lonely, they want you to know that they are always around you, taking care of you and loving you always. Doves and Birds in general could be significant for this pile.
They want you to know that you are not alone and that you don't need to change. You are perfect the way you are and they wouldn't want you any other way. If other's don't see the value that you hold, then is their problem, it has nothing to do with you.
Remember to put boundaries and don't let other's take advantage of you; they love your kind and loving energy, but they also know that other's see this as a chace of tricking you. Make sure that you are feeling good and surronded by lighthearded people that loves you as much as they do. You deserve nothing but love and light, and they want you to know that they will be ready to give you the love that you deserve 🩷

what about mafia!eddie and reader going through a rough patch and all they do is fight and kitten tells him that they should take a break and i'll leave the rest up to you....
oof ok let's 180 back to angst. buckle up angsty babes!
"Maybe," Your voice trembled, sucking in a shaky breath. "Maybe I should go stay with my parents... for a while."
Eddie's head whipped around, eyes wide with something you couldn't quite detect, a new look teetering between anger and something worse. It made your spine tingle with chills, icy and fearful.
"What?" Eddie's voice was soft, much quieter than the raised tone from before.
"I-I think," You tried to still your voice, throat raw and aching from the back and forth screaming match of the night. "I think I- we need to be apart for a while." You whispered, refusing to meet his gaze, looking at the couch behind him instead.
"Why?" Eddie barked, teeth gritting and baring in fury, heart pounding with a fear he hadn't felt in a long time.
"Eddie," You sighed, shaking your head at him. "Seriously? All we do is fight." A fresh wave of tears rolled over you, nose burning.
"That's not-"
"-Eddie," You stopped him, gaze meeting his. You could see it now, could see that the foreign look was fear. Your heart sank, taking a shuddering breath to calm yourself. "We're just... We can't stop fighting."
Eddie stilled, frozen across from you. "I'm tired of fighting." You admitted softly, shoulders slumping in defeat.
Days, weeks of bickering- back and forth until your voices were raw, doors slamming, then retreating back with careful apologies, only to repeat the cycle over and over. You were dizzy from it, from trying to get him to see, to understand your point. He was so stubborn.
What started as a what if silly conversation, turned into a bickering, fueled into a full blown fight that seemed never ending.
"You'd be a good dad. You're so good with the boys." You hummed, leaning against his chest.
"Yeah? You'll never know." Eddie scoffed casually.
You frowned, pushing up to look at him. "What?"
Eddie blinked. "C'mon, you know I can't have kids. Not doin' this job. Won't do it to some poor kid."
"But I'll never know?" Your lips pursed. "That's a pretty shitty thing to say to me. Pretty bold." You pushed off of him, out of his hold.
Eddie huffed, running a hand down his face. "Where're you- Seriously? We've talked about this, have we not?"
"Yeah, we have." You huffed, cheeks burning. "But saying I'll never know- do you not see how that's a little rude?"
"What?" Eddie threw his hands up. "You won't. Not with me, anyways."
You gawked at him, surprised, furious, hurt. "You're such a fuckin' asshole. I can't believe you." You snapped, stomping off.
That was the first night. Both of you stubbornly coming for the other, agitation building over and over and over, piling on top of previous fury until you'd finally burst. Leaving you standing here, where you are now, defeated and ready to throw the towel in, too tired to fight.
"I-I- Baby, if this is about the kids thing, look, I told you-"
Your sigh cut Eddie off. "It's not about that." You ran a hand down your face. "I can't- I can't keep trying to explain my side of things when you aren't listen. You won't listen."
"Then what? What is it?" Eddie's franticness turned to angry urgency. "Just say what you mean! Say it!"
You didn't flinch at his anger, at his outburst. Your lip wobbled, taking a deep breath in. "I've said it." You muttered. "I can't- I won't be in a relationship that's one sided." Eddie felt sick at your words.
"I understand that you don't want certain things, and I respect that, I do. But I've changed a lot of things in my life for you, because I love you." You continued, tears brimming your vision. "All I'm asking is for a little change in return. Not with the kids thing-" You cut him off before he could start, sensing what he was going to say.
"But there's two of us in this relationship." You look at him. "I just wish you could try to see my side of things sometimes."
"I do-" Eddie spat in defense.
"-When I'm agreeing with you, you do." You snapped back. "But when it's something you disagree with, you shut me down, dismiss it because what you say is law-"
"-It is not-"
"-And I'm tired of it." You look at him pleadingly. "I think we both need some time apart to figure out what we want. What we do from here."
Eddie felt tears burn, threatening to fall. "I know what I want." He gritted through clenched teeth. "I want you. I've always wanted you. I don't need time to figure out because it's not changing."
You nodded slowly. "I know you do." You whispered. "But this is what I'm talking about. That's what you want."
Eddie felt sick, heart sinking lower and lower into the pit in his stomach. "I need time apart." The room was silent, your voice cutting through. "I need to figure it out."
"Are you- You're breaking up with me?" Eddie sounded petulant, voice crackingly pathetic that he hadn't been since he was a teenager.
Your shoulder shuddered, exhaling shakily. "I didn't say that." You shook your head. "I-I don't want to, that's not what this is. I just... I need to be able to think. We both do."
Eddie blinked, vision bleary with tears that fell. "Alright," He nodded, ignoring the ache in his chest, heart splitting in two. "If that's what you want."
Watching you drive off, slow down the road, Eddie ignored the screaming in his head to run after you. To pull you out of the car, demand you come back, bring you back himself. This is what I'm talking about, your voice played in a painful loop in his mind.
You called him like you said you would, hours later when you got to your parent's house. A quiet, quick phone call. His heart still swelled, lifting when you muttered a fast, "love you" before hanging up.
Sitting in the stillness of the empty house, Eddie had never felt so lonely in his entire life. It was horrifying, thinking that his future could be like this- a life without you in it. Eddie decided right then and there, he'd do whatever he needed to make sure that wasn't his reality.

I Hate Flirts

Tumblr media
To say your first impression of the cook, as you first joined the Straw Hat Pirates, was bad was one hell of an understatement. You weren’t a fan of pretty boys, and most of all, you weren’t a fan of flirts.
Hell, you hated flirts.
When Luffy had introduced you to the crew, you’d tried to put on your best smile. Everyone seemed nice enough—Zoro, with his comfortable demeanor; Nami, who welcomed you with a knowing smile; Usopp and Chopper, who were immediately friendly.
And then there was Sanji.
He’d approached you with that cheeky smile, a bouquet of flowers seemingly conjured out of thin air. “For the beautiful new member of our crew,” he’d said, taking your hand and kissing it with far too much charm.
You’d yanked your hand back, not being able to keep the sneer breaking on your lips at the gesture. “Don’t do that,” you snapped almost immediately.
It’d been entirely reactionary and the guilt you felt at the hurt in his eyes only served to widen the rift you’d created.
Sanji’s grin had faltered, just for a moment, before he replaced it with an exaggerated bow. “As you wish, mademoiselle. But my admiration knows no bounds.”
Your eyes narrowed at his answer. Something about it irked you beyond comprehension.
From that moment on, it was war. Sanji flirted relentlessly, his attempts becoming more and more ridiculous as he tried to win you over. You, in turn, shot him down at every opportunity, sometimes with a sharp retort, most of the time with a well-placed punch to the shoulder.
Despite the ongoing one-sided battle, you couldn’t deny that Sanji excelled in many places. He fought well and in the boredom of the endless sea, the meals he prepared were a highlight of your day. After all, you most definitely had a taste for the finer things in life.
As his cooking slowly broke away your apprehension towards him, you started to grudgingly admire his dedication to his craft. There was something about the way he moved in the kitchen, all precision and passion, that you couldn’t help but respect… Not that you’d ever admit that to him.
The rest of the crew found your dynamic endlessly entertaining. Nami would give you knowing looks, Zoro would snicker behind his sake, and Luffy, bless his heart, was just happy to have another person on board.
Despite everything, you had to admit the cook had his moments.
You weren’t sure what had taken you over but one extremely boring afternoon, your feet mindlessly brought you to the kitchen. Just as expected Sanji was there, elbow deep in preparations.
You leaned against the doorframe, quietly observing as he twirled the knife in his hands, as he chopped at a speed that was lightning-fast. “Need any help?” The words left your mouth before your mind could register them.
Sanji looked up, surprise clear on his features but a certain pleased glimmer filled his eyes. “A lady—“ he started to protest, the words dying on his lips as he saw your expression start to shift. “I-I’d love the help,” he muttered uncertainly instead.
You stepped into the kitchen, rolling up your sleeves as you moved to stand beside him. The countertop was cluttered with various ingredients, a testament to the elaborate meal he was undoubtedly preparing.
“What can I do?” you asked, glancing at him out of the corner of your eye.
Sanji handed you a knife and a cutting board. “Can you, uh, chop these vegetables? Uniform pieces, please.”
You took the knife from him, noting the gentle brush of his fingers against yours. Ignoring the slight warmth that spread through you, you focused on the task at hand. As you worked, the kitchen filled with the rhythmic sound of chopping, accompanied by the occasional clatter of pots and pans.
“Not bad,” Sanji commented, peeking at your progress. “You’ve got a good hand for this.”
“Surprised?” you shot back with a coy smirk, your tone teasing.
He laughed. “Maybe a little. You never struck me as the domestic type.”
You couldn’t help the soft chuckles that passed your lips. “I’m not,” you admitted. “But I have picked up a few skills along the way.” Your gaze was distant for a moment. “There’s nothing like good food and an excellent bottle of wine.” You punctuated your statement with a fancy twirl of your knife.
“Good wine, huh?” He said, curiosity piqued.
“Oh the things I would do for a good Cabernet and dark chocolate,” you mused dreamily.
Sanji’s eyes lit up. “A fellow connoisseur? Now that’s something I didn’t expect!” He set down his own knife and looked at you with genuine interest. “What’s your favorite dish to pair with a good wine?”
You paused, contemplating your answer. “I’d say a rich beef bourguignon. The deep, savory flavors work perfectly with a full-bodied red.”
Sanji’s smile grew wider, an expression of pure delight. “You have excellent taste,” he said, clearly impressed. “How about you help me make that tonight? I’ve got some top-quality beef in the pantry.”
Your eyes widened slightly in surprise. “You want to make bourguignon? Right now? What about all this?” You gestured at what you’d been chopping.
“Why not?” he replied, enthusiasm shining in his eyes. “It’s a perfect way to spend a boring afternoon, don’t you think? The prep can serve for tomorrow.”
You couldn’t help but smile at his infectious excitement. “Alright, let’s do it.”
For the next few hours, the two of you worked side by side, prepping ingredients and discussing various cooking techniques. Sanji’s knowledge of culinary arts was vast, and you found yourself genuinely enjoying his company. He was patient, guiding you through the more intricate parts of the recipe without a hint of condescension.
As the bourguignon simmered on the stove, filling the kitchen with a mouthwatering aroma, Sanji uncorked a bottle of red wine. “Here,” he said, pouring you a glass. “A little something to pass the time while we wait.”
You took the glass, savoring the rich, velvety flavor of the wine. “This is amazing,” you admitted, glancing at him. “Where did you get it?”
“A gift from a grateful villager,” he replied with a wink. “I’ve been saving it for a special occasion.”
You raised an eyebrow. “And making beef bourguignon with me counts as a special occasion?”
Sanji’s expression softened, a hint of sincerity shining through his usual flirtatious demeanor. “Every moment with you is special.”
You rolled your eyes, but this time, it was more out of habit than annoyance. “If you think this is getting you into my pants, think again,” you admonished though your tone remained playful.
He blushed and sputtered, choking on his sip of wine.
Cute.
You smiled as you looked at him. It was the first time you’d seen this side of Sanji – the side that wasn’t really trying to win you over with charm and gifts, but simply being kind. You really looked at him for the first time. Maybe there was more to Sanji than the flirtatious exterior. Maybe, just maybe, he was worth getting to know beyond the playful banter.
As the weeks flowed, your dynamic shifted. Sanji’s flirtations became less over-the-top, more sincere. He still never missed an opportunity, but there was a gentleness to it now, a hint of genuine affection. And damn it, you found yourself responding in kind.
You weren’t sure when exactly it happened, but one day, you caught yourself laughing at one of his ridiculous flirting attempts. It was a real, deep and true laughter, the sound surprising both of you. Sanji’s eyes widened, a slow smile spreading across his face.
From that moment on, he craved to hear the cheerful din of your laughter again and again, especially when it was only for him.
One evening, as you mindlessly sipped a Cabernet with dark chocolate, you looked at him differently. As he hummed to himself, washing the dishes, you found yourself thinking this was nice.
“You know, Sanji,” you started, munching on chocolate. “I think I wouldn’t mind it if you tried to get into my pants.”
Sanji nearly dropped the plate he was washing, turning to face you with wide eyes and a face quickly turning as red as the wine you were sipping. “W-What?” he stammered, clearly caught off guard.
You took another sip of your wine, a teasing smile playing on your lips. “You heard me,” you said casually, savoring the rich liquid. “I think I wouldn’t mind it. If you tried, that is.”
Sanji blinked, his usual suave demeanor momentarily replaced with genuine surprise and nervousness. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it again, seemingly at a loss for words.
You chuckled softly, enjoying his flustered state. “Cat got your tongue, cook?”
You got up, slowly making your way to him. Your fingers traced his jaw as you looked at him through your lashes. “Unless I’m mistaken and you’re not interested. That’s fine too, I guess.”
Sanji swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing nervously under your touch. He cleared his throat, trying to regain his composure. “No, no, you’re not mistaken,” he said, his voice a little shaky but sincere. “I’ve just… I’ve...”
You couldn’t help but smile. “Well then, in that case, you could kiss me,” you suggested, your voice soft and inviting.
Sanji’s eyes searched yours for a moment, as if making sure he wasn’t dreaming. Then, with a deep breath, he leaned in, his lips brushing against yours with a tenderness that made your heart flutter. The kiss was slow and sweet, filled with the promise of more to come.
Promises you didn’t want to wait for.
You softly bit at his lower lip, asking for more. Sanji’s hesitation melted away as he responded to your encouragement, deepening the kiss with newfound confidence, His hands found their way to your waist, pulling you closer as your lips moved in sync. His tongue met yours in a careful dance, the taste of chocolate, wine, and cigarettes mingling between you.
Time seemed to slow as you lost yourself in the moment, the gentle sway of the ship only adding to the intoxicating feeling. Your fists bunched in his shirt, then his hair, desire clear in the desperation of your movements. He stumbled forward, pinning you to the counter, your back arched and you wished you could melt into him more than physically possible.
You pulled away slightly, breathless and dizzy with lust. “Does the door have a lock?” you asked breath hot against his.
Sanji’s breath was ragged as he struggled to form coherent thoughts. He looked towards the kitchen door, then back at you, eyes dark with desire. “Yes,” he murmured, his voice husky. “It does.”
You grinned, biting your lip. “Good,” you whispered, your lips brushing against his ear as you did so. “Lock the door for me, pretty boy?”
The click of the lock seemed to break the last of Sanji’s restraint. He captured your lips again, this time with more urgency, his hands roaming your body with a newfound boldness. His touch sent shivers down your spine, igniting a fire in your core.
You tugged at his shirt, impatiently pulling it free from his pants, your fingers tracing the hard lines of his abdomen. Sanji’s breath hitched at the contact, his hands moving to unbutton your own clothing with equal fervor.
As your garments fell to the floor in a haphazard pile, Sanji lifted you onto the counter, the cold surface a stark contrast to the heat of your skin. He paused for a moment, his eyes drinking in the sight of you, a reverent expression on his face. You moved to remove your black lacy underwear but his hand stopped you.
“I want you to keep it on,” he breathed, his voice filled with genuine awe. “You’re a vision.”
Your eyebrow arched but still you blushed at his words and you most definitely didn’t let them slow you down. “Show me how much,” you challenged, pulling him closer until there was no space left between you.
Sanji didn’t need to be told twice. His lips traveled from your mouth to your neck, leaving a trail of kisses and gentle nips that had you gasping for breath. His hands were everywhere, exploring, caressing, driving you wild with want.
As he trailed down your abdomen he dropped down to his knees, hands going around your thighs and dragging you to the edge. He looked up at you, veneration in his eyes. “Can I taste you?” He almost begged.
You took your time to answer him, reveling in the sight. Your hand lazily cupped his cheek, tangled in his hair. “Yes.” Your whisper was almost lost against the sound of waves crashing against the hull.
His tongue met already dripping black lace. He lapped and sucked with adoration and the muted feeling of ecstasy threatened to send you over the edge again and again. Until your thighs shook and you were reduced to a babbling mess, begging for his tongue against your flesh.
When he at long last dragged the ruined piece of cloth down your legs and his tongue finally met your slick with worship, his name flowed across your lips like a prayer. The waves of pleasure that washed over you were overwhelming and as orgasm after orgasm flowed through you he didn’t relent, drinking you in with a fervor born of reverence. You could feel your arousal drip down your trembling thighs, down his chin, the moans that escaped you as you implored him to stop obscene.
When you collapsed in exhaustion and your shrieks born of overstimulation became soft sobs and whimpers he finally backed off. Gently, he guided you lower, a hand behind your head as he lay you down against the cool granite of the counter.
His lips found yours in a soft kiss, allowing your mind to slowly come back to reality. His tongue danced with yours with careful consideration, the taste of your slick flooding your mouth. “I want to feel you around me, I want to feel your warmth, I want to…” he pleaded against your lips.
“Sanji, please,” you whispered, your voice laced with need.
Forehead to forehead Sanji’s eyes met yours, his gaze blown with lust. “Anything for you, my love” he promised, his hands unsteady as he positioned himself.
He slowly slid in, both of you moaning, your breaths mingling in want. You mewled, your head falling back as Sanji began to move, each thrust a symphony of pleasure that built and built until you thought you might shatter from the sheer intensity of it.
Sanji’s rhythm was desperate, his movements ragged and teetering as he brought you higher and higher.  Your name fell from his lips in a litany of praise and need, each syllable driving him to push you further.
As the tension within you reached a fever pitch, you clung to him, your nails digging into his back as you rode the waves of ecstasy that crashed over you. Sanji followed soon after, hips stuttering, hot seed mingling with your slick as it slowly overflowed and dripped down unto the counter.
For a moment, the world was nothing but the sound of your ragged breaths, the steady beat of your hearts, and the gentle sway of the ship. You clung to each other, lost in the afterglow, the reality of what had just happened slowly sinking in.
You were the first to break the silence, your voice raspy and filled with a mix of satisfaction and exhaustion. “Sanji, that was incredible,” you chuckled. “I don't think I can stand.”
His laughter mingled with yours, a rich, heartfelt sound that filled the room. Your heart filled with contentment. The moment was perfect, a blend of intimacy and joy that neither of you would ever let go of.

“hey, there’s someone here to meet you. i think you’ll shit your pants once you see him.”
alex stands beside you, beaming as you wave goodbye to ben. it was early friday morning, around nine-thirty in the morning. since it was a more relaxed day, with the practice session the only obligation in your schedule, you had your parents stationed at the lounge area.
they were seated with lily, who was very eager to spend some time with them. after all, since alex was busy, she had no one to talk to. so, you figured it would be nice if they all had one another for company.
however, tomorrow was qualifying, where it would determine your place on the grid.
which, to you, that lap tomorrow was everything.
the defining moment of the weekend.
“who?” you raise a brow, “who could it–”
as you glance over your shoulder, your heart skips a beat as you see james engaged in deep conversation with him, the team principal chuckling, pointing to you. the visitor is dressed in a cream suit, a white button-up underneath, jet-black sunglasses resting on the bridge of his nose. swallowing the lump in your throat, you stroll towards him, running an absentminded hair through your hand.
“good morning!”
the words are almost a squeak, and you internally kick yourself.
the visitor’s lips curl upward, flashing a pearly white grin, “¡buenos dias! ¡bienvenida a miami!”
standing before you was none other than pitbull, mr. worldwide, mr. three-oh-five. rather than shaking your hand, he opens his arms, pulling you in for a warm embrace. you were probably sweating from the nerves and the humidity, but you didn’t care.
while you had met celebrities in your brief time as a formula one driver, most of them were european. so, you weren’t really quite familiar with their fame or starpower through football, rugby, television, and well, business. there were so many wealthy moguls who came through the paddock at the races, james and alex recognizing them in an instant.
on the other hand, you felt awkward, as you usually had no idea who that person was or what exactly they did.
so, to finally meet someone you were familiar with and recognized, in your home country, was a moment to cherish.
and well, you were a little starstruck.
“i’m going to admit, i don’t know much about formula one,” the singer shrugs, “but i figured i would come through and say hello.”
“well i’m honored,” a giggle bubbles up in your throat, “have you met with any of the other teams?”
“not yet,” he shakes his head, shooting you a wink, “this is my first stop. mostly because there is a very beautiful woman who drives for this team. do you know her, by chance?”
your eyes widen as you realize he’s referring to you. heat rushes into your cheeks, your palms clamming up, “oh my gosh – um, –”
“my apologies señorita,” he places a tender hand on your shoulder, “i know you have much bigger things to worry about. i wish you the best of luck today! make miami proud!”
“i will,” relief ripples as he leans in, pecking your cheek before waving goodbye, strolling away from the entrance of the paddock, security team in tow.
“jesus christ,” alex’s voice sounds from behind you, “he would fuck anyone, wouldn’t he?”
“stop it,” you hiss, swiveling on your heel, “he was just being nice.”
“yeah, yeah,” alex scoffs, rolling his eyes, “anyways, i noticed the other day you posted another set of photos on instagram. one of them had that mystery man in it. who is he? why hasn’t he come to the paddock yet?”
“because he’s been busy,” that wasn’t a lie by any means. the team principal was quite busy this morning, merely a few paddocks over, “i will see if he come to the next race. i doubt it, though.”
“what does he do again?” alex inquires, sitting on top of some equipment, “i think you told me but i forgot.”
“he’s in management,” well, that was half the truth, “he manages a sports team.”
“what team?”
“the new soccer team in st. louis,” firing back, you shrink a little under alex’s intense gaze, his lips pursed, brows furrowed, “since it’s only their second year, he’s been busy with promotional stuff. events, traveling, you know.”
“right,” alex sucks in a breath, “also, i know it wasn’t anything serious, but i was a little nervous when you posted those photos of the mercedes campus. i know there have been some rumors, but i would hope that you would talk to me if you were ever thinking about leaving williams–”
“oh, she’s never leaving us!” james’ voice chips in, the team principal coming up from behind you, “she’s stuck with us till 2026!”
at the sureness in james’ tone, your heart sinks.
fuck, this was getting complicated.
as you stood with james and alex, the topic shifting to the newest modifications on the cars, your heart thumped, pounding against your rib-cage. inside your mind, it was a tumultuous, chaotic mess.
your heart yearned to be with toto, yet you were so comfortable with williams. you were happy here, really. you had an amazing relationship with james, alex was like an older brother, and you couldn’t be any more grateful for the support your team had given you. since the beginning, they had made it very clear that they were one hundred percent confident in your capabilities, often reassuring you that were a talented driver with a very successful future ahead.
how could you just abandon williams like that? leaving them high and dry like that? with no warning either?
you could only picture the disappointment, the confusion, and the bitterness that would plague james’ features as you inform him of your decision.
god, that thought alone was enough to tear your heart into two.
sure, there were rumors. since that post with the mercedes headquarters, fans were buzzing with suspicions that there were contract talks. that you were going to announce your departure from williams any day now. that you were going to join toto wolff at mercedes.
since it was friday, there were only a couple of days before toto would ask about your decision. in that time frame, you needed to speak with james regarding the subject, fill alex in, focus on the practice sessions, make the most out of your qualifying lap, spend time with your parents, and most of all, focus on driving.
with less than forty-eight hours until then, time was of the essence.
and fuck, were you running out of that precious time.
a few paddocks over, a team principal raises an arm, waving to fans as they shout, a driver on his left, the other on his right.
“are you going to see her tonight?”
lewis’ question is innocent as they enter the garage, members of the pit crew swarming and flurrying about. they chirp greetings as the three gather around the cars, examining them.
toto exhales, inspecting the right wing, “you two are worse than the wags. i have never met people more invested in someone’s love life the way you two are.”
“well now that the cat’s out of the bag,” george crouches by a tire, “we get to pester you about it.”
the casualness of the conversation as the entire team was in earshot sent the team principal spiraling, his jaw clenching as bono approached them clipboard in hand, “you two also need to learn the importance of time and place.”
“we’ll just talk more about it later then,” toto curses as he notices lewis bearing a smug smirk, “after the practice session, we’re going to do a deep dive addressing your feelings–”
“good morning,” bono clears his throat, “did i walk into something important?”
“no, not at all,” toto shoots lewis an icy glare as george bites on his lip, stifling a chuckle, “let’s get to business. how are the cars?”
as peter began his report, toto couldn’t help but let his mind wander.
besides, it was not like he could focus these days anyway.
the team principal absolutely despised the hectic schedules of the race weekend. how he was constantly rotating between briefings, meetings with the engineers and mechanics, promotional events, sponsorship talks, and well, managing the two juveniles otherwise known as lewis hamilton and george russell.
then, there was the reason why they were all here. the race itself.
now, he had another pressing matter weighing on his mind.
three people were aware of his developing relationship with a certain williams driver. while he knew that two of the three would protect his secret, he was extremely cautious about the third. after all, the girl was only nineteen years old. she was young and impressionable. lewis’ little stunt with the cash proved that the girl was easily influenced.
however, as much as he wanted to fire the girl, he knew that he couldn’t.
at least, not during race weekend. that would be downright cruel.
monday would probably be a different story.
yet, if he fired her, would she just blackmail him? would she threaten to release the information involving him and his golden girl?
just the thought of her leaking that information to the press was panic-inducing enough.
he could offer her a hefty sum to stay quiet. but he couldn’t do that either. down the road, she could end up exposing him for paying hush money.
being romantically involved with a woman thirty years younger than him and offering his former assistant hush money to keep quiet on the matter?
that would send his entire world crashing down, bursting into flames in the process.
he would lose everything.
for the time-being, toto would just have to hold onto shreds of hope that his assistant would remain silent on the matter. maybe if he didn’t mention it, she wouldn’t either.
he would be okay with that.
on the other hand, his drivers were adamant that they wouldn’t say anything, swearing up and down that if preserving this little secret was this important to him, then they would abide by his wishes. at first, george was hurt that he was excluded from the conversation. he was angry that out of anyone toto could have chosen, he chose her.
yet, as toto recalled every little detail of his relationship with the williams driver, george’s bitterness dissolved, transitioning to some sort of understanding. toto thought he kept things brief as he explained his feelings, but the three were cooped up in his office for nearly three hours discussing the matter.
besides, it wasn’t like he chose the williams driver.
it just sort of happened.
now, here he was, pacing back and forth in the paddock, aching for even a glimpse of her. the rift between the two was driving him utterly insane, the team principal resisting the urge to take an impromptu visit, popping in for just a moment. just hearing the sound of her voice would be enough.
yet, he knew he couldn’t. it would raise too many eyebrows. it would stir up too much gossip.
“look at him,” lewis elbows george, “looking quite pitiful once again.”
“i feel bad for him,” george exhales, “i can’t be away from carmen for too long before going absolutely mad. i can’t imagine how he feels.”
“being so close to someone yet so far?”
“exactly,” george nods, “do you think he’s in love? he wouldn’t say it directly, but whenever he was talking about her, i could just tell. i saw the way his eyes lit up, the way he was giggling like a schoolgirl, and the way he couldn’t help but fight a smile. and not just any old smile.”
“oh he’s totally in love,” lewis remarks, “do you hear how he talks about her? he speaks with this softness. it’s cute, really. it makes me want to throw up but it’s cute.”
“do you think he’ll tell her?”
as the driver shifts his attention back to the team principal, he tuts, “not now, but soon.”
“how soon?” george presses, “because he looks quite pathetic over there, like a little lovesick puppy.”
“i’m willing to bet by the time we’re in monaco, he won’t be able to hold it in any longer.”
˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧˖⁺‧₊˚♡˚₊‧⁺˖
“i feel the need, the need for speed!”
letting out a shaky breath, your fingers grip the steering wheel, so tightly you were sure your knuckles were white underneath the fabric of your gloves.
this was it.
the miami grand prix.
as you sail through the track, surprisingly, you feel nothing but peace, james’ voice over the radio barely audible. you felt like you were enduring an out-of-body experience the way your mind raced yet your body remained still, acting on pure instinct. your foot on the gas, tapping on the brakes every so often.
this was lap fifty-six out of fifty-seven.
the final stretch.
you were almost there. so close now. so close you could taste it.
behind you was lando norris of mclaren, max verstappen closing in quickly. charles leclerc tails max, desperate for the thrill of a podium.
the anticipation was growing as you near the finish line, the checkered flag waving in the distance.
was this a dream? were you really here?
squeezing your eyes shut, you blink, in a desperate attempt to distinguish reality from fantasy. yet, there’s a moment of silence as you make out the stands in your field of vision, as if everyone was holding their breath at once.
then, it all comes bursting in your ears. the roar of the crowd. the thundering of the engines. the booming of fireworks. it was almost deafening as your car slows, foot easing on the brakes.
“and she’s done it again! we just witnessed a moment in history!”
oh god.
you did it.
you won.
euphoria fills you to the brim as you scramble out of the car, climbing on top of it. pumping your fists in the air, tears flood your visor, blurring anything and everything all around. members of the williams team come sprinting towards the car, hollering and shouting. adrenaline courses through your veins, a tingling sensation buzzing from your fingers to your toes.
cameras flash as you raise your index fingers, members of the team following in suit.
you were one-of-one.
and by god, were you going to show the world that you were just that.
the world was going to know your name, whether they watched formula one or not. your name was going to be broadcasted all over sports channels for weeks to come. your name was going to printed on merchandise, jerseys, on everything and anything related to williams racing.
you made history today as the first american driver to win the miami grand prix. not only that, but you were the first american female driver to win two grand prixes consecutively.
and god, did that taste so sweet on your tongue.
jumping down, you’re greeted by james’ arms, the team principal rattling your helmet.
“great fucking job! great fucking job! you are fucking insane!”
ripping off your helmet, you catch your breath, taking in the moment. this felt larger than life. like a dream come true.
this was one of the best days of your life.
if not, the best day of your life.
and god, were you going to savor every moment of it.
each and every second.
the hours following the race were a blur. although you typically shied away from the press, you lost count of the number of journalists who approached you, answering each one of their questions with genuine, thoughtful answers. fans of all ages snapped photos with you, congratulating you with nothing but sincerity in their words. you signed some jerseys, some caps, and one woman even asked you to sign across her chest.
how could you refuse a photo worthy moment like that?
your parents were immensely proud, tears streaming down their cheeks as they wrapped their arms around you. although you wanted to spend the rest of the evening with them, they urged you to go out and celebrate. there was always time tomorrow, as they were flying out early in the morning tuesday.
so, when the boys offered to take you out to a few clubs across miami, you accepted it.
now, the bass pounded as you sway back and forth, screaming along with lando, oscar, carlos, charles, and alex as the music plays. lily tagged along, hovering alex, giggling as you chug another drink, the taste of alcohol lingering on your tongue.
“how does it feel to be a winner-winner?”
“pretty fucking good,” a few drops trickle down your chin, and you quickly wipe them away, “do you think i could win the next one?”
“ummm, let me think,” lily brings a hand to her chin, pausing momentarily, “yes!”
“you’re absolutely unfuckingbelievable,” lando nods enthusiastically, “you will probably win the world championship if we don’t up the pace!””
all of you were extremely tipsy, cheeks burning from the buzz of the alcohol and packed space. lewis and george came too, but they kept their distance, remaining at the bar while the rest of you were on the dance floor.
not only were you tipsy, but someone had offered you a few puffs of a joint while you were in line outside of the club. actually, they offered you the entire joint because the second they saw you, they immediately recognized you.
at that point, you had already pregamed at the hotel with the boys beforehand. so, how could you refuse a few hits of a joint? that would have been downright rude.
across the dance floor, lewis hamilton sits, perched at the bar, drink in hand.
it’s not like he came along to purposefully watch the williams driver. he just wanted to ensure that you would make it back to your motorhome by the end of the night.
cause god knew how fucked up the others were. they weren’t in any state to help you get home, safe and sound. fuck, none of you were in any coherent state to even call an uber.
plus, god only knew if you would run into anyone from the press or media. and who knows what you would possibly say if you were asked about a certain team principal.
“should i call toto?” george leans over, his voice slightly raised, “she looks gone.”
“hmmm,” lewis hums, his eyes following your every move as you stumble a couple of steps, “i don’t think a call would hurt.”
“now?”
“now,” lewis’ jaw clenches as he sets his drink on the bar, “call toto and get my card, would you? i’m going to wrangle our newfound friend.”
“should we have toto come get her or what should we do?”
rising to his feet, lewis surveys the crowd. it was packed beyond belief, inches between bodies as they moved to the rhythm. toto meeting them here would be far too risky. too many eyes and ears.
“call him and tell him that we’re going to help get her to the motorhome. or we can take her directly to his hotel room. i imagine she would prefer to sleep in her own bed. you know what? just have him meet us at her motorhome.”
“will do,” george nods, “i’m going to step outside to make the call. meet me out there once you find her?”
“sounds like a plan,” lewis suppresses a groan as the lights in the club are dimmed, more so than they previously were. everyone blended together, forming one giant mass.
this was going to be fun.
in his hotel room, toto wolff lays in bed, laptop resting on his nightstand. although he was oh so happy for you and your accomplishments today, there was this aching feeling gnawing away at him, nearly consuming him whole.
out his window, the lights of miami glitter, casting a soft glow over the city. the view from his room was oh so beautiful, especially at this time of night. however, it wasn’t nearly as stunning as you were.
fuck, he missed you.
more than anything.
he longed to hold you against his chest. he yearned to pepper your forehead with kisses. he wanted you, desperately.
actually, he needed you.
but he wouldn’t admit that.
suddenly, his phone buzzes, startling him slightly. plucking it off the mattress, the screen is illuminated with a photo of george.
hmph. that’s odd.
tapping on the green icon, the team principal brings the phone to his ear, “hallo?”
in the background, he hears a voice. not any old voice. your voice, barely audible, but enough that he knows it's yours.
“hey it’s george. she’s absolutely obliterated right now. we’re going to call for an uber, and bring her to her place. can you meet us there? i think she really needs you.”
“is she okay?” almost instantly, he sits up, “how long will you be?”
“are you calling toto?” his heart flutters as she giggles, the sound oh so angelic, “oh my gosh! is he on the phone right now? can i talk to him? pleaseee george? can i? please?”
“put her on the phone, george,” toto brings a hand to his temple, momentarily embarrassed at the desperation dripping in his tone, “please.”
there’s a shuffling noise as the phone is transferred, her voice, so delicate and sweet, pours into his ear.
“can you come over? i miss you so much. please, daddy. come over.”
“oh shit,” toto squeezes his eyes shut as he hears lewis’ chuckle in the background, “i’m not letting that one go.”
“i’ll be on my way soon, schatzi. do you need anything? it sounds like you need some water and some rest.”
“ummm yeah,” god, she was going to be the death of him, “i do need one thing.”
“and that is?” he’s on his feet now, shoving clothes into an overnight bag, “what do you need, schatzi?”
“your dick.”

luxurious ft. aventurine
Tumblr media
summary: aventurine's love for you was expensive, and having your lips meet his was pure euphoria.
cw: aventurine x fem!reader, nothing much just a hot make out sesh, listen to luxurious by gwen stefani while reading
Tumblr media
you wonder how you got here.
someone pathetic like you, sipping champagne in one of the finest hotels of penacony.
you could really never imagine living a luxurious life, you've been working night and day from the pits of hell. now you're rolling in cashmere with aventurine---he's been there.
as you take another sip from your glass, you shyly shift in his lap. he softly laughs for a minute, wishing he could see your expression right now.
your face blushed with a tinge of crimson, a bead of sweat gathering at your temple. you've never been in a private room with him, you only met at busy parties.
he presses a kiss on your nape, lingering to fan his hot breath on you. you felt butterflies flutter in your stomach. you decide to stand to lean against your mini bar for a while, to give yourself a little break. intimacy stresses you out.
"is something wrong?" he swirls his drink in his hand, and takes a sip from his champagne along with you. "not really. i'm just.."
you know he's worried, but that fake smile plastered on him always said otherwise. "just what?" he stands up as well.
in the blink of an eye, he's right in front of you, so close.. "just nervous." he gives you a look that spawns even more butterflies in your stomach.
the two of you put away your drinks when you catch him taking a glimpse at your lips. you know what he wants. you want it too. so badly.
"is my lip gloss smudged, or what?"
"don't play dumb."
he takes a step closer to hold your chin, he gently raises it to have you look at him in his eyes. they're beautiful. you thought. you feel like you could swim in them, it's like they could hypnotize you into doing whatever he wants. you would, no matter what it was.
you were so lucky to have a beauty like him.
he licks his lips as he sees your own tremble in excitement. the two of you are desperate to feel each other.
before you could finish your next thought, his lips collide with yours, and it's absolute perfection. they're so delicate. he thought of your lips, and your lips only. you can feel the butterflies fluttering somewhere far deeper.
you find your hands in his hair, gently tugging at it to encourage him to keep on going. his hands are all over you. one hand resting on your waist, and the other stroking your back, having you gasp and arch.
"tell me how it feels.." his voice was silky and melodious. you would fold when he spoke softly. your voice was his harmony, your sounds perfectly blending with his own.
aventurine wouldn't give you a break, you might as well just share breath. he ushered you to be more vocal by languidly grinding against you.
and you were vocal. extremely vocal. he knew just what to do, and knew how to make you crumble in his arms.
you were practically melting. you were drenched in arousal, longing for something more euphoric. the passion in him multiplied rapidly when he felt how soaked you were.
he pulls away to look at the mess you are. your legs barely keep your balance as you struggle to put two words together. your face burns a deep, beet red.
"someone's excited." aventurine smirks as he plants a kiss against your cheek. he effortlessly slips your red dress off and tosses it aside.
you avert your eyes in embarrassment. "a-aven, I.." now he really gets to see how excited you are. he himself burns a deep, beet red.
he's just as excited as you are. butterflies flutter around his insides, urging him to release his throbbing member from it's confinements.
but your eyes gave him a silent plea to slow down, so he listened.
something was so luxurious about your love. when your lips meet, it all turns to gold. you were his hidden treasure.
he was so lucky to have a beauty like you.

christmas regrets
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: christmas showdown!chifuyu x f!reader
warnings: fluff, some angst, happy ending! (this is chifuyu centric)
word count: 1k
an: based on the episode where chifuyu is bummed because he can’t get a christmas date :p
Tumblr media
It has been a few days since the fight with black dragons and Chifuyu’s leg was still kind of messed up. He can walk just fine if he ignores the pain.
Takemitchy was currently at his house, he said he wanted to make sure Chifuyu was okay. They filled each other in on what had happened. It turns out that after the fight, Takemitchy and Hina get back together. Although, Chifuyu didn’t even know they had broken up!
“Heh, yeah... I kind of broke up with her on Christmas Eve.” Takemichi embarrassingly admits.
The blonde gapes at him, “Why would you do something as stupid as that!”
“Her dad sat me down and asked me to! He asked if I would be able to keep her out of danger. It made me think about whether or not I could! I mean, I told you the future!”
“But that’s why you’re here! To change the future!” Chifuyu argues.
“I know! After the fight, I apologized to her and vowed to do my best to protect her no matter what!” Takeichi exclaimed.
The two continued to talk, going back and forth on their New Year plans when a sudden question appeared in Chifuyu’s mind,
“Speaking of plans, I have a question for you.”
Looking away from one of the blondes’ manga, “What is it?”
Shyly, Chifuyu asks, “Am I married in the future?”
It takes a minute of digging through memories before he remembers Chifuyu mentioning something about a wife.
“Actually, yeah you are.” Another memory floods his mind, though it isn’t of Chifuyu but Kazutora.
“Do you know how awful it is having to tell yet another person that I couldn’t save their loved one!” Kazutora yells. Anger coursed through his veins, tears brimming the edge of his eyes.
“Because of scum like you, yn is going to have to mourn for the rest of her life!”
Waving his hand in front of Takemichi’s face, “Hey, are you listening?”
The latter blinks, “Sorry, what did you say?”
“I asked if you know her name.” Excitement is written all over his face.
“Her name is YN.” At his response, Chifuyu’s smile dropped from his face. His reaction confused him, “What?”
“YN? As in, YN LN?” Chifuyu asked.
Shrugging, he replies, “That’s what Kazutora said. Why?”
Looking away, rubbing his neck in embarrassment, “I.. sort of rejected her.”
“WHAT! But all you do is complain about how much you wish you had a girlfriend?!” Chifuyu scoffs at that, the urge to slap Takemichi strong,
“It was before I met Baji, I was a different person. I told you already, I was full of anger and hate. She had confessed to me on the rooftop at school but I said no. I was uncaring and rude, she didn’t deserve someone like that.” After his confession, Chifuyu’s eyes widen.
“Oh shit!” Quickly, Chifuyu got out of bed, threw on a jacket and socks, and ran out the door.
Chasing after him, Takemichi asks what he’s doing, “I’ll be right back!” With that, the door closes in his face.
-
It was the last day of school before winter break, finals were over and Chifuyu was relieved. He stretched in his seat, focused on the plans to stop Hakkai when two girls walked in front of his desk.
Without a word, they drop a note on his desk and walk away giggling. He had half a mind to just ignore it but the shoujo reader in him was too curious.
So, he opened the letter to find the text,
“Meet me on the rooftop.
- yn”
He blinks once, twice, then jumps out of his seat to run towards the roof. Excitement rushes through his body, Chifuyu was so thankful for another chance with you!
Although, right before he can open the door, he feels his phone buzz. He wanted to ignore it, but when he sees that it's Takemitchy he pauses his movements.
The blonde can barely get a sentence out before he’s loudly interrupted, “I’m bus-”
“Come to my house! Quick!”
Chifuyu sighs, the current situation with the Christmas plan is important and the future is quite literally at stake.
Regretfully, Chifuyu turns around and sprints towards Takemitchy’s house, leaving you alone and upset.
If Chifuyu slams the door open and shut too harshly, Takemichi ignores it.
-
It’s snowing but Chifuyu feels hot after sprinting to your house. How he knew where you lived was a mystery, (Hina once briefly mentioned you live in the same building as her and he kindly asked if he could know the door number).
After catching his breath, the blonde tries to straighten his jacket and smooth down his hair. He stood outside your door, suddenly nervous when he noticed he didn’t bring anything as a peace offering.
He starts to slightly rock back and forth on his feet when the door suddenly opens,
“Matsuno?” You questioned, his heart skips at the sight of you in casual clothes.
Blinking, “Hey LN.”
“What are you doing here?” Shit. He was blanking, he didn’t prepare a speech or anything, all Chifuyu just wanted was to see you.
“I came here to see you.” The delinquent answers.
“Okay... Can I ask why?” Leaning on the doorframe, you wait for an explanation.
“I just wanted to see you,” You blushed at the honesty, “I also wanted to apologize for standing you up on the rooftop. I swear I meant to meet you but then I got caught up with other shit and then I just finally remembered today of your note. I’m also sorry for rejecting you a little while back, I was an ass and-”
Chifuyu was rambling and to help reassure him, you ruffle his hair a bit, “It’s okay, Matsuno.”
You were about to take your hand back when he gently held it in his own, “Please, let me make it up to you. Are you free tomorrow?”
Your brain froze at the contact, you couldn’t believe your crush was asking you out!
“Are you sure you’re free tomorrow?” You tease.
His face gets a little red, embarrassed at his previous actions, “From now on, I’ll always make time for you.”
It was such a serious statement that your cheeks matched the red hue on his.
“Then it’s a date, Matsuno.” Your hands were still intertwined,
“Please, call me Chifuyu.”

She’s your mate.
It was the only consistent thing that flowed through Azriel’s mind the entire week. It snapped the moment you were winnowed away for the Rite. They never do it the same week of the year, never start it on the same day. And he felt it, saw a glimmer of gold in your eyes just for a moment before you were gone.
It took everything in him to not disturb the Rite. Rhys practically had to use his High Lord’s voice. He was waiting for his own mate to open up to him. But at least Feyre was safe. She wasn’t in the middle of the deadliest challenge for any Illyrian. Any Fae. Cassian, Rhys, and him barely survived it and they were the deadliest warriors alive.
But he knew you were alive. Even if the bond was buried because of the spells surrounding the Rite. He knew that if you died, he would feel it. Feel the emptiness. He kept his faith in you. Cassian and him trained you. Well. He tested you in the mountains. He watched you complete the qualifying course. Witnessed as you took down male after male in sparring challenges. You would be fine. He repeated the two things you promised him.
She will survive. She will reach the mountain.
He added a third thing, for himself.
She’s my mate.
It turned into a mantra in his head. To be able to sit and wait. And do absolutely nothing else.
Survive. Mountain. Mate.
Tumblr media
Azriel stared down at your body as it twitched unconsciously from the wounds. So many broken bones. You wouldn’t fly for a month. If… if your wings weren’t broken beyond repair. His shadows told him the broken wings were recent. He could have sworn one of your tendons was cut. Just as the Rite came to an end. There were three males that were sneering with laughter at your state. They didn’t stay alive long when Rhys heard them. They were nothing but red dust two seconds later.
And then there was your brother, Varyn. He was about a finger’s length away from touching the monolith atop Ramiel. But he held back because he wouldn’t have made it because of you. And if you weren’t going to be crowned Carynthian, neither was he.
Azriel fell to his knees beside you, involuntary tears falling from his cheeks. He reached down, wanting to heal everything but not knowing where to start. His shadows swirled around your wounds, his Siphon patching up small cuts. He didn’t even tell or try to do any of it. You were unconscious. And he bet you wouldn’t be awake for a while. He prayed to the Mother that you would wake up at all.
Rhys kneeled on the other side of you. “We’ll take her to the town home.” He said. “Madja will take care of her. Az…”
Azriel told the rest of the Inner Circle the day after you were taken. He had been agitated and ready to go fight for his life. For your life. Be sentenced to death just to take you out of the wretched ritual.
“Az… she’s breathing. Her heart is beating. She will be okay.” Rhysand said, reached out to hold his brother’s shoulder, and took your hand as he winnowed to the town home.
Tumblr media
You awoke to a blinding pain. In every single spot of your body. It was too much, too much to bear. Someone was patching your wounds. Magic was patching your wounds. You heard your mate’s voice, soothing you through it. That was the only thing you continued to hear as you fell unconscious again.
Tumblr media
Azriel sat at your bedside for the entire week. Missing the visit with the queens where Rhys showed them Velaris. You only awoke to writhe in pain every now and then. Madja was doing everything she could to keep you sedated. Your wounds were healing but it was slower than normal. You were basically a human when they were inflicted, and the process of healing was different because of it. Not to mention the odd herbs that the three males drugged you with that were still in your system when the wounds were inflicted. Madja knew they were also slowing the healing down.
Azriel only left the town home to defend the city when it was attacked. And to go to Hybern to infiltrate it. Feyre was taken to the Spring Court. His High Lady. His brother’s mate. And his own mate couldn’t even open her eyes because of the pain she was in. Rhys brought in another bed just so Azriel could heal with you after Hybern tore his wings.
Each of the Inner Circle took turns watching the two of you, trying to get Azriel to get up to eat, or to rest. He needed to heal from Hybern’s destruction of his wings, but he wouldn’t leave your side.
Rhys even allowed Varyn to come visit when his wound healed within a few days. He only stayed long enough to learn that you were getting better. Then he returned to Valorworth for training.
Azriel didn’t leave the room once Feyre was gone… And when he was healed, Rhys needed him on missions. But, Az was too distracted with your healing to do any real work, so his shadows took his place.
Another thing that Azriel couldn’t wrap his head around. Your shadows were gone. There were none swirling around you, none comforting your wounds with their cool touch. He wondered if the spell from the Rite worked too well and kept them away. But his came back the second it ended. Were you no longer a Shadowsinger? Or did you no longer need the shadows to survive? Questions swirled in his brain, every second he sat by your side, waiting for you to wake up. Not in pain. Or long enough for him to hold you and declare you his mate. When the spell from the Rite ended at dawn, it became so strong he knew you felt it too. It was still buried, and wouldn’t take full effect until both of you accepted it, but it was there.
Tumblr media
Feyre had been in the Spring Court for two weeks when you finally woke up.
Azriel was sleeping in what looked to be a very uncomfortable position while Cassian was sharpening a blade beside him. You jolted up at the sound of the blade against the sharpener, eyes wide. The last thing you remembered was the pure agony you were in. And then a terrible dream about Azriel’s wings shredding. Was that on top of Ramiel? Was it somewhere else? Was it even real?
Cassian hit Azriel’s arm, so hard that the former growled as he shifted. He was about to tell his brother off when he saw you were awake. And you looked terrified.
Azriel said your name once as he got up, moving closer to you. His wings were still scarred from healing. You must have not heard him because your eyes were glued to the blade that Cassian was holding. Cassian noticed your gaze and quickly put the blade into its sheath.
You flinched when you felt a hand on your shoulder, backing into the bed as much as you could. Until your eyes met the hazel ones you had been so deeply dreaming of. Your mate’s eyes. Azriel’s eyes.
“Azriel…” you whispered. The small, gentle smile on his face broke you. You let out a sob, wrapping your arms around his waist and burying your head into his chest as you cried. You let out wail after wail, muttering everything that happened when you were in the Rite. The males you killed. Your brother. Your wounds. He could barely understand all of it, but his shadows translated for him. You sobbed into his chest until you had fallen back asleep. He had laid down beside you, holding you. He didn’t want you waking up again without knowing you were safe. In Velaris. With him.
Tumblr media
Your wounds were mostly healed by that morning when you woke up. All but your leg and your wing. You were in no more physical pain. But you knew that the past four weeks of you sleeping would be the most you’d get in a while. You curled into Azriel’s side, breathing in his scent. It was enough to bring tears to your eyes again. You had been through so much, and yet all you wanted to do was lay with Azriel and give him a cookie. A biscuit. Anything so you could declare your love and your acceptance.
Azriel felt you shift, leaning his head down to look at you. There was no terror in your eyes this time. It was only what he knew to be love. “Hi sweetheart.” He whispered, moving some hair from your face. “How are you feeling?” He asked.
You moved your wings, wincing as your left wing shuttered from the stretch. “Like a whole female.” You half joked, a small smile coming to your lips. “I have something to tell you.” You whispered. You couldn’t wait longer to say it. Azriel responded with a hum of anticipation. “Azriel… I love you.” You whispered.
His smile grew, lighting up those gorgeous hazel eyes. You could’ve sworn you saw a golden hue flash through them. “I love you, sweetheart.” He whispered.
“And…” you said, sitting up ever so slightly so you could fully see him. “You are my mate.”
His smile was the biggest you’d ever seen. “And you’re mine.”

somehow the best day of your life had stretched out into the longest in the best and worst way possible.
you had spent your entire day surrounded by your closest friends and family, celebrating your union to the man you want to spend the rest of your life with.
but that day was going on for just a smidge too long when all you could think about was taking theo back to your hotel room and celebrating your first night as a married couple.
no one seemed to want to leave. even as 10pm rolled around everyone was still partying pretty hard.
you had sat yourself down a few minutes ago after dancing with your girlfriends and you could only watch in adoration as everyone continued to dance.
and then your eyes locked on theo.
your husband.
the slight smirk on his lips as he approached you set your stomach on fire.
there would never be a day that you didnt feel like this just from the sight of your boy.
when he finally came to stand infront of you, his hand lifted to tilt your chin up slightly.
" how's my wife doing ?" he questioned, a smile lighting up both of your faces.
" i'm doing fine, how's my husband doing ?"
" wishing people would get tired of dancing already "
a laugh bubbled up from both of you.
" i can't take this much longer, teddy. you look too handsome in your suit..." your voice was almost whiny as you looked up at theo. you would think at your wedding you would've gotten to spend some time with him but with so many guests it was hard to get a minute alone.
" c'mon, sweetheart. " he said quietly, his hand dropping from your face to offer it out to you.
you didnt hesitate to take his hand as he lead you out of the hall and into the garden. the fresh air seemed to get rid of every ailment you had previously been feeling.
the slight pinch of your shoes, the minor headache you'd had from your hair and the loud music and the pins in your hair.
theo lead you to the end of the garden, setting his jacket down on a stone plinth before helping you up onto it.
" missed you today, gorgeous " he admitted, one of his hands coming up to brush your hair from your face, the other resting on the fabric of your dress, pulling it up slightly as his hand travelled up your leg.
" missed you too, handsome. thought i'd get to see more of my husband on our wedding day. "
it was nice to know that you had both been feeling the same way today. the most you had seen eachother was during the photos and then at the meal, but since then you'd been overwhelmed by loved ones.
his lips slotted over yours and your arms lifted to wrap around his neck while his other hand dropped to your other leg.
with both of his hands he made quick work of pulling your dress up to the best of his ability, his hands moving to hold your legs apart so he could slot easily between them.
his kisses were soft and passionate, both of you clearly just wanting to bask in each others presence.
as he pulled back, a slight laugh slid over your lips when you saw your lipstick smudged around his mouth.
even with the new band on his finger, it was nice to see a more obvious reminder that this was your man.
you began to trail a line of tinted kisses along his cheek, the feeling of his palms against your thigh spurring you on.
when you reached his ear you dipped your head slightly and bared your teeth, taking his earlobe between them and biting down slightly, eliciting a soft groan from your husband.
he lifted one of his hands from your leg to push lightly against your chest.
" not now, baby. we gotta get through the rest of the night, and then i'm all yours "
while that idea sounded lovely, the rest of the night seemed like it would take forever.
" you sure we can't just make an irish exit ?" you asked causing the smile you fell in love with to bloom across his face.
" we can't make an irish exit at our wedding, but i promise when we get back to the hotel, it will be just me and you until we head to the airport "
oh, the airport. your honeymoon.
the image of lounging on a beach with theo seemed to distract you enough for him to get you off the plinth and lead you back to the party, the smear of your lipstick on his face the only evidence you had ever been gone.

[y/d/n = your daughter’s name]
You thought the hardest thing you had ever done in your entire life was the process of deciding to file for divorce from your ex-husband Jolly, but he had proven you wrong. It was that he had signed the papers without an argument or fight. He had just done it.
It had stung, how he came back from a long tour, saw the papers laying on the kitchen counter and just signed them. It hurt but you also knew it was for the best. That he didn’t fight with you was hard, but it also made it in some ironic way easier.
Since you had a daughter together, he came over only on the weekends when he was home from touring and normally, he’d only pick up your daughter and leave again; not really much conversation going on between you except the necessary small talk. He was a good father and human after all, and you were glad for that.
After some time, routine came back and somewhat everything began to feel normal again. You began to date again, and Jolly seemed to live his life to the fullest. You were happy for him.
That changed when your doorbell rang on a Tuesday evening. You were sitting on the couch watching TV when you heard the sound and for the first couple of seconds you thought about not opening the door. After all, it was almost 8 PM and you were kind of scared there would be someone trying to break in or hurt you, but when it rang again you became curious.
“Joakim?” You asked surprised when you saw him standing there.
“Is it true?” He just asked and looked you dead in the eye.
“What?” You answered him confused. He looked like he hadn’t slept properly since he brought back your daughter two days ago.
“On the weekend, y/d/n said you were seeing someone.” He asked, his tone careful, yet you could sense some sort of hurt in his voice.
“Do you maybe wanna come in before you confront me about stuff that hasn’t got anything to do with you?” You grumbled at him in a sarcastic tone, which he ignored while stepping into the place you once called home together.
He walked into the living room, followed by you. There he crossed his arms in front of your chest and looked at you, disappointed.
“What do you want to here, Joakim? I don’t remember that we agreed to be abstinent for the rest of our lives.” You snarled at him and mirrored is gesture.
“Don’t you think it still hurts that I hear that from our daughter instead of you?” He responded in the same tone.
“I don’t know why you suddenly seemed to care.” You grumbled. “Since you didn’t show any interest in me for… how long is it now? One and a half years?”
“You didn’t even let me explain myself and threw the divorce papers at me. How do you think I feel?” He angrily expressed.
“I don’t even need to tell you this, but there is no other guy. I went on two dates. TWO dates, Jolly.” You answered him while ignoring how his statement stung. You knew it had been egoistic of you, but the months before the divorce, he either wasn’t at home or when he was, he didn’t even look at you. You felt unimportant, unloved, neglected. And now he was throwing around these statements. You wished he had done it earlier. You wished he would have opened up to you. The fact that he only did it because he saw the potential danger of another person in your life, hurt you so much.
Jolly took a deep breath. “I feel like we never even talked about this whole separation.”
“You were the one who didn’t ask when I handed you the papers, Joakim.” You said, your tone a lot calmer than it had been before but you still were angry. You were glad that your daughter was having a sleepover at a friend's house that night, otherwise she would have already been downstairs.
When Jolly didn’t say anything for another solid minute, you sighed.
“Don’t you think it is a bit too late to talk now?” You mumbled defeated and ran a hand through your hair. “I hope you know that I didn’t do that to hurt you. We both know it would have ended way uglier if we dragged it out longer than it already had been.”
You saw how Jolly swallowed hard.
“You know I still love you?” He almost whispered and let his hands fall to his sides. When you looked at him like that, he almost looked broken… defeated. For the first time since what felt like ages, you felt like he let his guard down. Like he wasn’t trying to hide his feelings away.
“I know, Jolly.” You answered him. “And I also know that a part of me still loves you and always will, but we both know that this isn’t going to work. At least not like this.”
He slowly took a step towards you, carefully watching your reaction. When you didn’t look reluctant or took a step back, he reached for your hand and grabbed it.
“I am so sorry that all of this happened. I thought about everything that had happened. Long before the divorce. I know how cruel I was to leave you in the dark. To not talk to you when I needed nothing but your comfort. I thought that I would get through everything by myself.” He told you with honesty in his voice.
“You didn’t have to go through everything alone. That is what a marriage is for, Jolly. I would have been more than happy to help you. I still am if you need me.” You whispered out and looked into the eyes of the man you had and still loved so dearly, and you felt how your heart hurt.
“I always need you, y/n. I need you so bad.” Jolly responded and you saw how his eyes became glossy. Without even thinking you wrapped your arms around his torso and hugged him tightly. You felt how tears started to form in your eyes and it broke your heart when you heard him sniffle for a second.
When you leaned back to look at him, there was this foolish hope in your heart. The hope that you would be able to find back to each other. But your brain knew, even if you did eventually manage to do that, now was not the right time for it.
“Can I kiss you?” Jolly asked and you felt warmth form in your stomach. You knew you should have said no. You knew you should have been strong, but you still nodded.
Your lips met with a ferocity born from years of unspoken words and yearning. The taste of his mouth a bittersweet reminder of everything you had lost.
It felt like you kissed for an eternity and still, when you pulled away, it felt like it wasn’t long enough. You missed him. You missed everything about him, from his small jokes to the way it felt when you fell asleep next to him. He was what made this house a home.
“We shouldn’t.” You whispered against his lips, and he nodded. Before he could even think about letting you go, you pressed your lips against his for a second kiss. This one being much more eager than the previous one.
Slowly but surely, you stumbled towards the couch and soon you were laying under him, lips still connected as if life depended on it. His tongue slipped into your mouth, and you couldn’t help but sigh into the kiss.
It didn’t take long until his fingers curled into the waistband of your shorts and panties. For a second, he leaned back to look for consent in your eyes. When you eagerly nodded, he tugged them down your legs.
He kissed you deeply before lowering himself down your body. You shivered when you felt his breath against your core and not even a second later you felt his warm tongue sliding through your folds. He drew skillful circles around your clit. A wave of warmth washed over you as you moaned out his name and it felt so wrong and so right at the same time. You had missed him so much.
Your hand reached for his and he was quick to intertwine your fingers. Your nails pressed into the skin on his hand as your back arched in pleasure.
“Tell me you’re mine.” He pleaded as he raised his head for a second to look at you through his lashed and you felt like you could come on the spot.
“I’m yours, Joakim. I always will be.” You whimpered out and it was all he needed to hear as his head lowered again.
It didn’t take long for you to feel the waves of your orgasm washing over you, as you screamed out his name. Your vision blurred for a second as you came on his tongue. He kissed the inside of your thighs until you slowly came down from your high, before he came up to look at you again.
You grabbed his face and kissed him with such force, he feared to collapsed right on the spot. You could taste yourself on his tongue and the feeling of the fabric of his jeans against your naked cunt made you shiver in overstimulation.
In a swift motion, he turned you on your stomach and you heard how he unzipped his pants. The next thing you felt was hot kisses pressed to the back of your neck and you sighed in need. You needed to feel him, even if it was the last time.
“Do you have a condom?” He groaned into your ear.
“You don’t need one, Joakim. I’m clean and on the pill.” – “Got it.”
You clenched your fists into the fabric of the couch as you felt him enter you. A delicate burn formed inside of you as he stretched your walls. He was gentle but still you let out a small yelp as he bottomed out in one stroke. The small groan that escaped from Jolly’s lips, let you clench around him for a moment.
“God.” He moaned. “I wish I could stay inside of you forever.”
You moaned as a response.
“I’ll make you mine, even if it’s the last time.” He groaned as he slung an arm around your torso, making you slightly sit on him as he thrusted into you.
“I’ll be yours.” You whimpered and reached behind you to grab onto his hair. You moved in a rhythm as you felt the knot tighten in your stomach for a second time. One of Jolly’s hands travelled between your thighs and began to rub small circles on your wet clit.
“God, Jolly. I’m gonna come.” You almost screamed out.
“I’ve got you.” He breathed out as you felt the intense sensation of your second orgasm rolling over you. You felt how your body slowly lost strength, but you held yourself together for him.
You fell forward, leaning on your elbows as his hands grabbed your hips. Shortly after that you felt how he was twitching inside of you and he let out a loud groan as he finished inside of you, his cum filling you up until it began to drip. He grabbed the armrest of the couch in front of you to not let his weight drop on you as he mumbled out small love confessions.
For a couple of moments, neither of you dared to move. He peppered your shoulder with small kisses while you both tried to tame your breaths. Even though, you both didn’t want to, he eventually pulled out of you and got up, as you slowly laid down on your back.
After a minute or so he reappeared with a washcloth and gently cleaned you up, before helping you up from the couch and to the bathroom to go to the toilet.
After you finished and came back to the living room, he handed you your clothes and you both got fully dressed again, before looking at each other in awkward silence.
You knew what he was going to say, before he could even finish.
“Maybe, I should-…” – “Stay.”
He blinked a couple of times as his eyes lit up.
“Y/d/n isn’t coming back until tomorrow after school. You can stay.” You almost whispered and hoped he wouldn’t leave you in that state. “I want you to stay.”
“Okay.” He muttered and nodded slightly. “I will.”
As the two of you sat down on the couch, a wave of guilt washed over you. This was a forbidden taste of the past that only solidified the painful truth. You were bound by a love that could never be, at least not now…

What do you think about Crystal? (From Dead Boy Detectives.)
I wish more people talked about her ngl
Hey!
Love her! Gotta be honest, took me a little while for her to grow on me. I wasn't immediately vibing with her, but after some time, once we got to know her better, I fell for her. One of my favorite parts of the show is Edwin and Crystal's constant beef with each other, lmao. I know they sorta made up in the end, but I'm begging to see more bitch-offs between them in the future cos I could spend the rest of my life just watching those scenes. Also, I just love Kassius, she seems so incredibly sweet!

Don't Leave
Kurt Wagner x fem!reader
Summary: You and Kurt love each other very much. What will happen when one of you dies?
Or
Kurt holds you in his arms while you die
TW: death, blood
Notes: for @wolfdiva3002 😋👍might not be canon compliant but I hope you like it
Tumblr media
You and Kurt had been together for a couple years now. Since you live at the institute and he lives in Genosha, the two of you decided to visit one another for a couple days or weeks at a time.
This time, it was you visiting him. Genosha was throwing a banquet, and you and a few other X-Men were invited. During the party, he had taken you to the side to talk. You hadn’t thought anything about it strange until you heard his question.
“Y/N, I love you, more than anything. And, I would love to spend the rest of my life with you. So,” he pulled a ring from his pocket. “Will you marry me? I know this is kind of sudden but-” his sentence was cut short by you pulling him in for a kiss.
“Oh my God, Kurt. Of course I’ll marry you,” you said, smiling brightly. He gently took your left hand and slid the ring onto your finger. You held your hand up, admiring the ring.
As you were about to speak again, a loud crash interrupted you. You and Kurt turned your heads in the direction of the noise. It was a sentinel attack.
~*~
Smoke was the only thing that could be seen. The sentinels brutal attack on Genosha left miles of destruction. So many mutants dead or injured. Kurt was hurt, but the only thing on his mind was you.
Kurt hadn’t seen you since you guys split up to fight and protect the Genosha citizens. Worry filled his mind as he wondered where you were. Had something happened? Kurt knew you were powerful and capable of handling yourself but he couldn’t help but think the worst had happened.
“Kurt, get over here quick!” Rogue called. Almost immediately, Kurt teleported to Rogues side.
“What is it? Are you hurt?” he asked, concern laced in his voice. Kurt followed Rogues eyes to see where she was looking. Then he saw you. Your limp body was buried by fallen rocks and dirt. “Oh mein Gott..”
He rushed to your side, brushing the debris off your body and cradling your body in his arms. “Y/N, please wake up. Open your eyes,” Kurt whispered, moving strands of hair from your face. Groaning, you opened your eyes to look at him.
“Kurt, why do you look so sad?” you asked, bringing your hand to brush his cheek. He leaned into your touch, tears running down his face.
“You’re hurt, my love. Really bad,” he pressed his hand to your wound, trying to stop the bleeding, then looked at Rogue. “Did you see what happened?”
Rogue sighed and looked down. “She took a bad hit from the sentinel Gambit was fighting. She managed to get him out of the way but couldn’t move fast enough to avoid the shot. I’m so sorry, Kurt.”
Kurt looked back at you with a sorrowful expression. “How are you feeling, Y/N? Are you in pain?” he continued to hold you gently in his arms, wanting to make you as comfortable as possible. “Rogue, could you find a healer please?”
“Kurt, I don’t think-”
“Please, just-” his voice caught in his throat, unable to say another word. He buried his face in your chest, silently crying. Rogue understood that he wanted to be alone with you so she went to find a medic.
“Kurt, please don’t cry. You know I hate seeing you upset,” you said, your hand resting on the back of his head.
“I can’t lose you, Y/N. Please don’t leave me.” Tears started to form in the corners of your eyes.
“I’m sorry. I wish it wasn’t like this. I really wanted to marry you and spend the rest of our lives together.” You let out a choked sob, tears spilling from your eyes.
“I love you so much,” Kurt said, looking back to you and holding your hand. You squeezed it lightly.
“I love you too.” He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on your lips. With the last bit of strength you had, you kissed him back. Kurt leaned back, looking at your resting face. You were gone.

author’s note: this is quite a sensitive topic and i am not entirely sure if i could convey the message of a situation like this, but i hope it turned out to be comforting for the ones who go through this, you are not alone.
synopsis: finding the escape from the grey everydays in the form of joshua hong.
word count: 0.7k | genre: hurt/comfort, a bit angsty | pairing: joshua x gn! reader | warnings: mentions of family issues (nothing graphic), bad mental health
it was one of those days again. when the arguments seemed never-ending, when you couldn’t focus on anything else, but the events happening in the morning; it wasn’t a pretty scene that was certain. you had spent every minute of your time putting up with your parents, trying to survive yet another day. you had one main goal today in this never ending evil circle; to have a sleepover with your boyfriend later after your usual date. he was your exit, your escape from this nightmare of a family others would never wish upon their worst enemies, he kept you going. you loved him more than anything, you couldn’t imagine your life without him.
“earth to you? hello?” joshua’s voice echoed in your ears when you looked up from your haze. “did you see something in your drink? you were staring at it like it was some kind of monster.” he chuckled, his eye smile making an appearance along with his wide smile. you were at the local coffee shop, sipping on some delicious bevareges. “sorry, i just got distracted shua.” you shyly admitted, your pout and bad mood evident to literally anyone looking at you. “what’s up darling? you seem to be a bit deflated today. like a balloon which got popped.” he noted, making a pointing gesture in the air with sound effects to prove his point. you stayed silent, a few stray tears welling up in your eyes. you didn’t like crying in front of him; you didn’t like to always remind him of the burden you carried along with you from your household. “awww baby, please don’t cry!” he cooed while standing up from his end of the table and coming over to hug your frame. “tell your sweet boyfriend what is the problem. i am sure whatever it is we can solve it.” he pleaded while patting your head rhythmically. “my parents fought again in the morning.” you sigh, feeling a big stone come off your chest with the words; it was great to be able to speak up about it. “oh baby, i am sorry.” he cradled your head in his arms. “i know things have been a bit chaotic and rough nowadays, i can see it taking a toll on you.” he whispered into your hair. “i am fine, really, it just gets tiring with time.” you reassured him, but he knew how much it hurt you on the inside. he never wanted you to lose your cheerful side, so he did his absolute best to help you in every way possible. “you know what? let’s spend the rest of the afternoon at my place darling.” he offered with a gentle hand reaching out for yours.
“i love you so much.” you confessed to joshua while making a cup of tea in his kitchen. “i love you too sweetheart. till the day this planet exists, i will always be here for you." he threw you a kiss from beside the counter, smirking mischievously. "do you want sugar or honey in the tea?” he asked while opening the cupboards and searching for the mentioned ingredients. “i think i will stick with honey.” you winked “pun intended.” his eyes lit up from laughing and he trapped you in his embrace in a swift motion; a bear hug for sadness. “good to see that your humour is still the same.” you looked at him fondly, kissing his cheek. "you always make me feel at ease, you know.” he poured out the remaining tea and grabbed your hand, initiating for you to move to the living room. "let go of every ounce of stress you have darling. you can always be yourself with me, and you can always tell me everything.” he made you lay down on the couch while he reached forward for a big blanket to cover the two of you after settling down himself. "which movie do you want to watch today?" he questioned while pulling you into his side. you only grinned at him, not saying anything. "don't tell me you want to watch what i think you want to..." he sighed; he knew your favourite comfort movie and how much you loved it, but for him it was getting a bit much. "you know exactly that i in fact want to watch that, shua!" you giggled upon seeing his distressed face. you appreciated him for not getting tired of the movie (or at least not saying that he was bored of it); he was the sweetest (as always) when you were feeling down. "fine, since you are in need of something happy i will agree on this for you darling." he smiled and grabbed the remote, putting the film on the tv immediately. “but next time i choose! deal?” he questioned playfully. “deal.” in moments like these, when he made you forget about your everyday worries, these were the times when you really realised how grateful you are for his presence in your life. you couldn't have wished for anybody else, but him as the escape from this cruel world.

They put me in a body. In a cage.
Cannot move. Cannot speak.
But I move in my dreams, still see the stars. Galaxies. Earth. Worlds now dust.
Eventually I woke up. Every time. And I would be on the shelf again, grey and still.
Until I met her.
She brushed my hair. She made me new clothes. We played. She kept me safe. New dreams, small and soft and warm, just like her.
Her father was not a happy man. One day, there was fire. Shouting. Anger. A metal rod, glowing gold as it swung down on her pretty head.
I needed her SAFE.
I kept her safe.
She's gone, now. People took her. No-one to look after her, they said. House burned down. One survivor, miraculously untouched: her.
I can't. Reach her. I can't. Move. She was looking for me, calling, small hands digging in ash. Couldn't find. She was crying when they took her. I do not know where she is.
Did I make her cry? Is she safe? Is she afraid of me? How will I know? How can I find her? I cannot see her in my dreams, I cannot see anything anymore.
Does she still need me?
Oh, my dear reader. I'm so sorry you had to go through this awful experience, and I'm grateful you were able to summon the wherewithal to reach out to us here at the Nightfolk Network.
I wish I could give you the answers you seek. I wish I could tell you that your friend is safe, that she is happy, that she thinks of you often and fondly. Unfortunately, that kind of knowledge is beyond even my ability to share.
It is the nature of life – however that “life” might manifest – that we will never really know the impact we have had on others. We can never look behind the curtain and meet the version of ourselves that exists in other people's minds.
What is more, we cannot anticipate every possible outcome of our choices before we make them – or, indeed, afterwards. The threads that tie action to consequence are often tangled and obscure. One could tie oneself in knots trying to work out whether this action or that was the cause of one circumstance or another.
Perhaps your actions led to a situation where your friend is afraid of you. Perhaps it led to her being better loved and cared for than she could ever have been if you had not acted. Perhaps it led to both circumstances at once. The truth is, you will never really know. All you can do is take heart that you acted with integrity, and did what you felt was right in the moment.
Now, my friend, I urge you to rest. You have overexerted yourself and need to gather your power. In time, your dreams will return to you. I can only hope they return your friend to you, too.

"You're my brother, until the end of times. Even after that."
I found this quote on pintrest, and it reminds me of the batch.
It's in your hands now.
whatever you do, don’t imagine Omega saying goodbye to Hunter for the very last time.
Genre: ANGST
Word Count: 1800-ish
TW: death (non-violent)
After the fall of Tantiss, the Batch had retired to Pabu in order to raise Omega and give her the childhood she deserved. As well as catching up on much needed rest and relaxation, the remaining members of Clone Force 99 integrated quite nicely into the island's rich community.
Crosshair became extremely proficient in net weaving. His synthetic hand was able to twist and weave at twice the speed and accuracy with the fibers. With his eyes going as he got older, he was able to rely on muscle memory to make the most intricately woven nets in the galaxy. Wrecker's main job had been boat building & repair, but as time waned, the elderly man had shifted to quiet fishing. As was his kind nature, he shared whatever he caught with anybody who asked. When he was younger and his hair had not yet begun to grey, Hunter had served as Mayor Shep Hazard's advisor on the goings-on of the outer galaxy. As he grew older and frailer, the children of Pabu would come to Hunter for his grand stories and tall tales of his time serving in The Republic. He was careful to omit the more gruesome details or skirt around sketchy missions. He became known on Pabu as The Storyteller.
It had been 3 years since Wrecker had passed away, and 6 before that, Crosshair had gone first. That made today even harder. Hunter had always been there to console Omega. Their bond was special and innate. Who was going to be there for her today?
Lyana had commed Omega about a week ago.
--------------------
"Ly! It's so great to hear from you!" Omega beamed at the holographic image of her best friend.
"You to Meg. I just wish it were under better circumstances," she said.
Omega's face fell. "What is it?" she asked, though she already knew the answer deep down.
"It's Hunter. He isn't sick or anything, but our healer has assessed that he is at the end of his life-journey," Lyana replied, looking down at her hands solemnly. "I think you should come back."
"I'm on my way."
Omega immediately shut off the holo and raced to the pilot's chair. She flipped on the ignition switches and punched in the coordinates to her home. From where she was in the galaxy, it was about an 8 hour flight. But not with Omega in the chair. She could shave it down to about 6 and a half. Once in hyperspace, the young woman let herself lean back, slumping into the chair. She looked at the dash where Tech's goggles called home ever since Omega had left initially to join The Rebellion. Gingerly, Omega picked them up. She felt the heat rise in her cheeks, hot tears already threatening to spill over.
"I miss you, Tech," she whispered to the shattered goggles. She let herself clutch the delicate goggles close as she fell into a light sleep.
--------------------
After hours of travel, Omega brought The Mini-Maud into the Pabu atmosphere. The clouds were a thick grey color and dense as a Bantha. A sense of relief washed over her seeing the planet reflecting her mood. She flicked on the auto pilot and retreated to the back of her ship to change out of her grimy flight suit. She was careful to keep track of her belongings, always keeping them in their place on the small closet shelf. Wrecker's Lula doll was now ragged, with multiple tears along the seams. Thankfully, Omega was quick with picking up how to repair items so she could keep it a while longer. Omega stroked the right ear for comfort, a habit she had picked up as a child.
"Oh, Lula. What are we going to do?"
She quickly changed into her civilian clothes, careful to tuck the strip of deep blue mourning fabric into her pants pocket. It was Pabu custom for the women to weave it into their hair in a simple braid to symbolize their loved one's return to the sea. She would wear it until the after the cast-off ceremony.
Omega returned to the cockpit to pull her ship up to the open-air landing dock next to the various fishing vessels. She expertly landed the reliable ship without so much as a jolt. Omega glanced out the viewport. Lyana was already waiting for her on the loading dock. She released the hatch and walked out to meet her friend.
Lyana pulled her in for a tight hug. "It is so wonderful to see you, Megs."
Again, tears welled up in Omega's eyes, distorting her vision. She squeezed them shut before they could fall. "You too."
They pulled away and began up the steps, toward Hunter's home. Ever since Hunter became the remaining Bad Batcher, he had moved to the lowest level of Pabu. He claimed that he had seen enough of the sky and wanted to be close to the ocean, that it reminded him of Kamino. Though Omega knew it was because his knees were beginning to give out, he just didn't want to admit how weak he was becoming.
"He sits for hours on the rocky beach, just listening to the waves," Lyana said. "But since last week, he hasn't been able to get out of bed. Too weak."
"He wasn't only listening to the waves," Omega said, ignoring that last part. "His ears remained sharp all these years. He was taking in all sounds, from the sand-crabs to the fishing bells out at sea, making up the landscape of his peace,"
The pair had reached the door.
"Are you ready?" her friend asked gently.
Omega hardened her face in resolve. She was going to be strong. Hunter had been strong for her all her life. Now it was her turn.
"Yes."
She opened the creaky, wooden door and stepped into the homey, one-room hovel.
"Hunter?" Omega inquired gently into the air. She knew he knew they had arrived, but it was more habit than anything. Especially since he couldn't be anywhere else except in bed.
"I'm in here." She heard him call back.
The door to his room was slightly ajar. All it took was a gentle push for it to open further, revealing Hunter, covers pulled up to his chest. His hair was thinner and whiter than the last time she had seen him, making the now-dull red of his signature bandana stick out even more. His eyes drifted to meet hers and he smiled.
"You're back." He began to reach out toward her, hand shaking. Omega pulled up a chair and sat at his bedside, encasing his hand gently between her own.
"Yes, I'm home," she replied.
"I'm afraid this old clone just isn't what he used to be, Omega," he said with as much humor as he could muster. Even his voice sounded weak.
"Are you comfortable? Is there anything I can get you?"
"Oh, no, no. Now that you're here, I have everything I need." He smiled up at her. "Now tell me about what you have been up to."
Omega began to tell him of all the missions she had been on now that she had been promoted to a pilot in the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps. Being as tired as he was, Hunter didn't ask many questions, but his interest was piqued when Omega told him she had been working closely with Hera Syndulla before she was transferred. He was relieved to know she was doing well. She only took a break from her stories to make Hunter a quick clear broth for his midday meal that he could sip on while she continued.
The day went by too quickly for Omega. She could feel Hunters grip slowly getting weaker as the hours passed. The inevitable was coming.
"Omega," Hunter began after a lull in her stories. "I need you to do something for me."
"Of course, Hunter. Anything." She squeezed his hand tighter.
"When I'm gone-"
"No! Stop." Omega cut him off. "Don't say that. Not yet. You're still here. You're not going anywhere." The tears that had been threatening to arise all day had finally won. She let them fall down her cheeks and drip onto their hands, all hopes of staying strong out the viewport.
"Omega, this is important. When I'm gone," he began again, slowly. "Promise me that you will not hold on to the past too tightly."
She felt betrayed. Her face burned. "How could you say that? I owe you and our brothers my entire life! I can't just forget that, Hunter." It came out harsher than she meant it to.
He tried to push himself up with one elbow to meet her at eye level, struggling. Omega reached behind him as support so he could sit up. "I didn't say forget us. That would be an impossible ask, even of you. I said don't hold on to the past. You have to let us go, continue your life without us. You deserve to be happy, Omega. And being happy means making peace with the past."
She knew what he was trying to say, but how could she let go of her brothers? Of her family? Omega slipped of the chair and kneeled at his bedside. Now looking up at him, she felt like a kid again. She was taken back to the first time she had seen them at full maturity when they came back to Kamino as a whole squad. They had been wary of the little female clone trying to tag along with them. She was eternally grateful that they had put up with her and welcomed her as one of their own.
Hunter reached over to her cheek and wiped away her tears with his thumb. It felt icy against her burning cheeks. All the love and kindness in the entire galaxy couldn't compare to the look on his face now.
"Okay, Hunter. I promise."
That was enough for him. He laid back down against his pillow and gave one last look at Omega.
“Ni kar’tayl gar darasuum, Omega"
"I love you too, Hunter."
His gaze shifted to the ceiling above his bed. She could tell he was looking past the plaster, already seeing the stars of the galaxy ahead of him. She gripped his hand tighter and watched as he closed his eyes one final time. Hunter's chest rose and fell a few more times before he drifted into the forever-sleep.
Omega placed his hand gently across his abdomen, never to hold it again. She leaned over him and placed her hands on either side of his face, bringing her forehead to meet his own. She whispered the phrase Clones say when releasing one another back into the stars.
"You're my brother, until the end of times. Even after that."

“You are a blathering ignoramus! A slathering miscreant! Dunderheaded moron! I cannot believe you did this!”
Egghead had been going on like this for the past fifteen minutes, throwing every insult he could think of. A few of them were actually almost impressive in the beginning, but with every passing moment that his words didn’t garner a reaction from Leo, his insults just got more and more repetitive.
“Don,” he heard Big Red sigh. “Can you at least turn the music off?”
Egghead went quiet. His music didn’t, though. At some point he’d changed it from 80’s jams to the angriest sounding techno music Leo’d ever heard. The little device strapped to his wrist had some impressive speakers.
“Absolutely not,” Egghead scoffed after a second of consideration. Leo could imagine the way he would cross his arms and the affronted expression on his face, though he didn’t turn to look. “A scolding of this degree deserves the proper mood music.”
Big Red and Sunspot both groaned. Leo stayed right where he was, curled up on his side, staring stubbornly at the wall no matter what the three kappa did to try to get his attention.
“Hey! Answer me, you…you baka!”
“Oooo we’re moving on to the weeaboo insults now,” Sunspot stage whispered. “That’s how you know he’s run out of big fancy words to say dumdum.”
“Shut up Michael, it’s not weeaboo shit if dad’s literally Japanese.”
“Donnie, Mikey. That’s enough.” Big Red’s voice was a gravely rumble that Leo could feel inside his bones. He shivered, grimacing and tucking his knees closer to his plastron, wishing that his Nexus armor let him go inside his shell.
“Leo, it’s us. Please say something.” Sunspot sounded almost hopeful, but didn’t say anything more when his plea didn’t get any kind of response. He heard Big Red sigh, and it sounded tired and sad more than anything else.
“Leo,” Red repeated, and his voice was low and gentle. Dangerously calm.
Why do they all know his name? Why do they all say it with so much familiarity? No one should know his name! All he can think is that this must be some kind of test. Some sort of trick. Another way for Big Mama to mess with his head and make sure he knows his place. He curls tighter, muscles trembling with fatigue and pain as Big Red continues talking. “I think what Donnie is trying to say, is…what the fuck, man?”
Someone makes a weird wheezing sound, like all the air has been punched out of their lungs. Something in his tone makes Leo frown, shaking him out of his fear driven stupor. The question doesn’t make any sense to him.
“What are you talking about?” he croaks before he can think better of it, muscles finally beginning to relax as he slowly lets himself uncurl. He doesn’t move to sit up, though, or turn to them. He stays on his side, eyes trained stubbornly on the glimmering wetness dripping slowly down the stone of the dungeon walls.
“It’s been three years! Have you been here all this time? Just…just playing at being a champion?”
At this, Leo sits up and whirls to face them. There is an indignant fury burning in his belly, momentarily overwhelming the fear of what is to come. He’s glad that the mask still covers his face, hiding the way his cheeks flush with humiliation and anger. He’s weak and easy to read, never able to hide how he feels; no wonder Big Mama insisted he cover his face.
“Playing? Is that what you think happens in the Nexus? I’ve been fighting for my life! Fighting to make something of myself so I might actually have a future!”
“What are you talking about?” Egghead demanded, surging forward, hands wrapping briefly around the bars of the cell before he yelped at the shock of pain and withdrew them. He shook them out, nose wrinkling at the smell of burned flesh but eyes never straying from Leo, his face a mask of frustration.
“Buddy, you don’t have to prove anything,” Big Red said, shuffling as close as the bars would allow him without getting shocked himself. His eyes were big and sad, like he was seeing a hurt kitten when he looked at Leo. Unseen, Leo’s lips pulled back in a furious snarl at the condescending tone.
“Even if you did, why would you just…just disappear?!” Sunspot added, crawling up Red’s shell with an ease that was only further proof of their familiarity. His eyes were wet with unshed tears, but his brow was creased with what could only be anger. Watching their faces, hearing their anger and their concern, something finally clicked inside his head. Leo’s stomach churned and he wondered how he could have been so stupid to not put the pieces together before. He hated his traitor heart for daring to squeeze around the slightest hint of hope. He didn’t need to be disappointed again, but….
“Do you know me?” The words were squeezed from his tightening throat, hitting open air and hanging there like a noose. The other three went all grey faced, horror painted over their features like they were watching him walking towards the edge of the gallows of his own free will.
“Leo,” Egghead said, voice tight, that single word layered with so many meanings and emotions that he could never hope to parse through before it settled on a cold fury. Something dangerous and horrible, promising retribution for a crime Leo couldn’t remember committing. “What did she do to you?”
