I watched a new (old) movie and am so normal (obsessed) about it: WIP
Anyways, is the Inception fandom dead dead, or are there pockets of survivors I can flee to?
If anyone has heard tell of an active Inception community please let me into your cool club I have so many -thoughts-
To all of my returning peeps/mutuals - bet you never expected a non-Hobbit related post! Get got, I guess. Regularly schedule Hobbit content will continue, I swear.

Happy Inception Day! For Inceptiversary2023 and @inception30daychallenge Day 16, I cross-stitched the cast of Inception.
I based their style on some cartoon pixel art I found, and tried to pick their most iconic outfits from the movie. (But in case you need a hint... from top left: Eames, Arthur, Ariadne, Dom, Mal, Robert, Saito, Yusuf.)
It was a lot of fun trying to get the right colors, and convey each character in very few stitches. But I am never doing 3-strand floss on 20-count aida again!
[ID: Photo 1: Overhead photo of a cross-stitch hoop with beige aida fabric. Eight characters from the movie Inception are cross stitched in a simple cartoon style.
Photo 2: Overhead photo of a variety of threads, hoops, fabric, and stitching supplies, and a notebook showing the a drawing of the characters.
Photo 3: A close-up angled photo of the cross stitched characters that shows detail of the thread and fabric. / .End ID]

This, Ariadne, would be a kick.
I return with more fluffy haired arthur, and the unsurprising knowledge that he’s the reason i’m actually bothering with proportions for once.
(also, please click for better quality!! you’ll see the curls better. what’s not to want.)

One (1) Silly Man:
So I found this photo of Tom Hardy and was like “ahh yeah. Eames-core”
And that’s how we got here.
Guys I’m really normal about this movie.

Day 29: Self-Rec
For the @inception30daychallenge Day 29 Self-Rec:
I'm reccing the matching totem cross stitch hoops I made last year for the respective International Eames and International Arthur Appreciation Days:
[ID: A photo of two embroidery hoops with white aida fabric. The first hoop is a casino poker chip that has been cross stitched in orange, red, and yellow thread. The text on the poker chip reads "100 Shillings Mombassa District Casino". The second hoop is cross stitched in red thread, and shows three sides of a six-sided die. /.End ID]
