Thank you for the adorable ask! my exams did go well also tysm <3 Makeup is one of my favourite things in the world! I love experimenting with eyeshadow looks (I mainly use my James Charles x Morphe pallete which I bought way before all the bad stuff ab him came out lol) but as I have been struggling w acne and dry skin for a few years now I cant rlly use much on my face! Benefit Porefessional Balm: my mom always used Benefit products so that's what I've ended up using ! And the packaging is so cute and vintage-looking. Its a skin-smoothing primer and I would def recommend it to anyone. I also luv their bene-tint (which is like a liquid blush) and moon-beam which is an adorable pink liquid highlighter <3

these are some pics of it I found online! I've put hearts around the ones I use most, I buff out society on my outer eyelid, and then pick one of the super glittery ones like high, soft, sweet or regency on my inner corner (and sometimes as highlighter) and blend with duchess or queen <3

3. No 17 Matte Lipstick in Old Rose: is the best lipstick I've ever found. It's almost an exact match to my lips and just adds a bit of glam to my look! it's super affordable as well and is vegan like all these products (bc I'm vegan and finding vegan makeup products w cute packaging lol) and I top it w a clear gloss topper (that has a plastic applicator so it doesnt smudge the colour)

James Charles gets honest as he reveals his thoughts about the newest collaboration with E.L.F. Cosmetics and Chipotle.

The beauty guru recently announced on his social media that he did a makeup review with the brand’s burrito-inspired collection.

A self-confessed Chipotle fan himself, the YouTuber shared that he hasn’t done makeup reviews for such a long time; hence, he vowed to give the viewers his honest opinion about E.L.F.’s latest collaboration.

James Charles Makeup Review: E.L.F. Cosmetics X Chipotle

The 21-year-old internet celebrity shared that he was thrilled with the newest team-up of E.L.F. since he was a diehard fan of the Mexican food chain.

Moreover, he blurted out his obsession and mentioned that he had a phase where he used to eat Chipotle about four to five times a week.

Extra Guac Sponge Set, $10

James Charles started off his makeup review by blending his foundation using E.L.F. and Chipotle’s guac avocado sponge.

While gently beating his face with the sponge, he shared that it is softer than the usual blending sponge but preferred a more dense beauty tool.

He then followed up with a concealer and set it with a Laura Mercier translucent powder.

Chipotle Eyeshadow Palette, $16

After contouring his face, the beauty guru tested out Chipotle Eyeshadow Palette.

This limited-edition product comes in 12-piece eyeshadow shades that are inspired by Chipotle ingredients.

The 21-year-old makeup artist started off by applying the pinto beans shade, which has a medium brown tone and applied it along his crease for creating bold eye makeup.

He then mixed it up with a hot salsa which has a hint of a brown and orange tone. Blending the colors using a Morphe brush, James Charles added black beans shade, which features a deep brown tone.

Capping off his burrito-inspired makeup, which he described as the orange, mild salsa eye, he applied pinto beans shade along his lower lashline to create a smokey eye makeup effect.

Moving on to the next eye, he used a green eyeshadow in the shade of lettuce. As for his transition, he used guac, featuring a shimming shade of lime green.

For a pop of color, he then used a shade of gold called corn salsa at the middle part to brighten up the eye makeup. Finishing off the look, he popped on some eyelashes and mascara for his burrito-inspired makeup.

Make It Hot Lip Gloss, $8

However, let’s not forget the lips. James Charles used E.L.F.’s Make It Hot Lip Gloss that has a hint of red-hot color with a high-shine finish.

Moreover, this limited-edition gloss has a lip-plumping effect, making your lips fuller ala, Kylie Jenner.

Aside from the plumping effect, it also has a moisturizing and hydrating formula that will leave the lips feeling soft and nourished.

Halloween can take a decent amount of time to get ready for, but if you are like me, and do not have the time to spend hours getting ready, then you have come to the right place. Every year I feel like I am in a rush to get my costume put together, so I found a simple makeup look that will only take you 30 minutes.  

Skeletons are seen all over for Halloween, so this year I decided to be one. I started off by outlining the bottom half of my face in white eyeliner. I then blended the outside in a bright pink shade named “skip” from the James Charles eyeshadow palette. I covered the whole bottom half of my face in this color as well. Next, I went back over with the white eyeliner and drew a line from one earlobe to the other. I then marked vertical lines across my mouth and connected them on the top and bottom. This created a neon skeleton look. Using the same color previously, I went in with the color skip into my crease, and gently blended it out. I then blended the color “pinkity drinkity” from the James Charles palette as well into my crease, outer corner of my eye, and right above my crease. I then lightly tapped the shade “sister” onto my eyelid.  

This look took me in total 30 minutes to complete and was a simple, and fun Halloween look. I took a normal Halloween costume and made it my own. You could use any color, but if you outline it in white, it will give you that neon light effect.

One of fastest selling eyeshadow pallets of all time is the James Charles Palette by Morphe Cosmetics. This palette was released on November 13, 2018. Today I am going to be reviewing this iconic palette. According to Morphe this is a “full spectrum of 39 dialed-up, deeply pigmented shades” (Morphe, 2018). The palette includes nude and vibrant colors. When creating this palette James Charles stated “I felt like there was something missing on the market, and that was one eyeshadow palette that could truly create any single look” in a YouTube video revealing his palette. As someone who enjoys doing vibrant eyeshadow looks, as well as enjoying nude eyeshadow looks, I thought I would try it.  

I started off by applying the Shape Tape concealer by Tarte. I went into my crease with the color “Skip.” I blended it out with my Morphe V204 eyeshadow brush. Next, I went in above my crease and the outer corner of my eye with the color “Pinkity Drinkity” using a Morphe V204 brush. I then blended the colors in smoothly. Lastly with a Morphe V202 brush I tapped the color “Sister” onto my eyelid.  

This palette took the makeup world by storm in 2018. After using this palette, I have noticed that there are a lot of eyeshadow looks that can be created with this palette, but I do not think that you can create every makeup look with this palette. The palette consists of 39 colors, being shades of pink, blue, purple, brown, etc. The color “Skip” is an extraordinarily rich pigment. I love how my eyeshadow came out, but if I were looking for a less bold look, I would have reached for another palette that that has more shades of pink.
