Jeffmads

[This takes place in high school time line]

Thomas let out a soft sound of content, his arms wrapped tightly around James. James let out a little laugh as Thomas kissed his shoulder, nibbling gently. Thomas’ parents were off on a business trip and James convinced both of their parents to let them stay. Thomas ran his fingers over James’ hip, then slowly dragged them up, freezing when he felt fresh marks. Without hesitation he dropped down, kissing over the marks, making James let out an adorable squeak.

“I don’t get you.” James said softly, after Thomas came up. Thomas raised an eyebrow, unsure of how to react.

“What do you mean?”

“You say you don’t want to be romantically involved but then you do shit like that an-” James started but was cut off by Thomas’ lips, pressing against his own, Thomas’ arm snaking around his waist and pulling him closer.

It was a kiss filled with adoration and love, almost lazy.

“Trust me, when I say I love you, but I also love my parents and I’m terrified to love because of how they treat me, I mean-”

“I’m not your parents, Tommy, I wouldn’t do that.” James took a deep breath, kissing Thomas’ nose. “If you aren’t mentally ready for a romantic relationship, that’s fine.”

Thomas looked up at him, slight fear in his eyes, waiting for James to suggest they just be friends without the cuddling or kissing or fucking.

“I’ll wait for you and take what I can get until then.” James finished and Thomas grinned, kissing him deeply, only pulling away for a moment before kissing him again. It was one of those joyful kisses, the kind you laugh into.

It was a definition of perfect.
