For the sake of recovering from a brutal jet lag, I headed to the natural history museum because no way I could fall asleep there. I must however have done just that, because whilst sipping afternoon tea in the cafeteria and looking out across the park, for a brief moment people were walking little white whales rather than dogs. Definately sleep deprivation, not insanity.

And yes, whales does in fact have legs, or at least remenants of their land livin' days ones.

I’ve been very very in love with your works for quite a while now, you really give each of the characters their own characteristics that feel unique to them, as if they’re living breathing people instead of just the typical flatness(?)/very little variety/distinction I’d find in a lot of works.

I really do try to give my characters some depth, but I boil it down to writing them for so long they just came alive themselves. I just finished my exams and I’m working on a chapter right now, but it’s been a slow start because I just flew overseas 😬

To sum up the event of the month:

Two weeks of socializing and travelling, and I'm in love with A Faraway Land, enough to think about living there for a few months.

With nothing that tried to kill me in the scene (to my knowledge). With people giving out the vibe of gold rays (or just neutral/satisfied) and the right loose-to-responsible ratio. With long pathways and small beaches. With silence and swimming cools. With flowers blooming in the middle of winter, cockatoos considered pigeons, longish short days, and a different sky. With the architectural mix of "new" and "constructed 200 years ago".
