A/N: the prompts made me think of this song. you can listen to it while reading. i might have still been influenced by the day 3 prompts... i don't actually know what i am doing. please bear with me.

"Yeah, but- hold on... Close your eyes?"

"Close my eyes? Why?"

"Trust me."

John walks behind Sherlock's armchair and gently rests his hands over Sherlock's eyes.

I have two ideas: (well three if you count the idea of completely ignoring my 75% completed wip but we're not talking about that)

Johnlock Mulan AU. Sherlock must disguise herself as a man in Victorian England to fight the......bad people (I'll figure it out later OK) in place of her brother Mycroft, who has no training and would fucking die. John is basically Li Shang, complete with looking really hot without a shirt and the bisexuality. Plot wise, I think it'll be pretty similar to the movie. I mean yeah at the end there's Trans Man Sherlock but I mean isn't there always Trans Man Sherlock deal with it OK.

A Moriarty-based songfic for Halsey's Gasoline. It'll be fucking epic.

I have an idea for a song fic, but I'm not good at writing them (terrible even):

So Sherlock and John have been together for a year and it's their anniversary. John decides to do something special for Sherlock and makes breakfast.

btw John is at peak hubby material:

and he's in the kitchen, music playing softly in the background, making breakfast for them, currently frying some eggies or something, and Sherlock comes up behind him,"Morning, I was hoping to catch you in bed."

"Looks like I have effectively thwarted your plot," He wraps his arms around John, setting his chin on the other's shoulder,"Smells good."

"Mmm thank you," John keeps his attention on the eggs before flipping them and turning the eye off,"Care to dance?"

"Always."

John tapped his phone a few times, changing the song and turning the volume up on the speaker.

"To Noise Making (Sing)" by Hozier starts playing (youtube link) and John mouths the lyrics while they playfully dance together.

Idk how to write a song fic, so it's up to whoever (if anyone) writes it. Seriously though, I would love to read this, so tag me if you do and I will be eternally grateful.

18. Do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterisations?) Tell us about them.

I can think of two.

1. Sirius Black Doesn’t Care was not going to have a jegulus subplot but it was peak jegulus time and I was reading a lot of those fics so I added it in.

2. TORCH all caps was meant to have another chapter where Ronan visits Declan and Jordan and the kitten was supposed to fall in looooove with Declan, like purring and falling asleep in his lap. Then Ronan went over to take her home and she turned into a fireball again like “no thanks, middle lynch, im good right here” and thats how jordeclan got a cat. 🐱

23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?

Hmm it’s actually a songfic based on Saw You in a Dream by The Japanese House. I have thought of ways to write a fic for this for multiple ships including but not limited to johnlock (bbc sherlock) back in 2017, reddie (It) in 2019/2020, wolfstar (harry potter) in 2021/2022 and now pynch in 2022/2023.

It is such a good YEARNING song, seeing a lover, friend in a dream and waking up to realize they aren’t there. I recommend giving it a listen and that band. here’s some of the lyrics and a link to the song:
