Pretty sure this smoothie is going to be a crazy, unappetizing color 🤣 but I want to get in lots of nutrition all at once. It’s only 11 am and the day has already been on hyperdrive. When I know I won’t be able to keep up, I add in as much goodness as possible in the morning to keep me going. Another To Do list nears completion. Among many other things, I’ve managed to list a few more prints on my web site (more on that soon), giveaway a beach of art, deal with lots of convoluted banking and billing issues for my dad, make—and help eat—a pie from some of our backyard rhubarb stashed in the freezer, and schedule and attend a handful of meetings for work and personal projects. Every year at this time I take an inventory of what I preserved from my farm the year before and start a list. What’s left, we’re we able to eat organically most the year from the garden, what do we need to preserve more of ectectect. Basically we cleaned out the freezer with pesto and a little fruit left, pantry still has some herbs, spices and flowers. I learn a lot from doing this as it tells me how I can do better this season, what I need to grow more of and hope we have a bumper crops. On tonight’s menu the end of preserved veggies- Cauliflower base, Pesto pasta with the last of the Spinach, Zucchini and Tomatoes with a beautiful green salad fresh from the garden. Wednesday and Thursday is my weekend because they’re J’s days off that are in a row. I have a list of about a million things we have to do tomorrow so that we can spend Thursday together and go to the pool with E. - Get new driver’s license (I’ve lived here since April and haven’t done that yet.) But they allow you to make a DMV appointment here so that’s cool. I shouldn’t have to wait all day for it to get done. - Drop off consignment store pile that’s been accumulating in my laundry nook. - Hospital car seat instillation appointment for E’s new big girl car seat that I’m afraid to install myself. - Clean out her closet, make room for next size up clothes. - Grocery shop
