in days like these i really miss the sense of community we all had during unus annus, but i’m glad now and then we get to reminisce about it together 🖤🤍
death comes to us all. memento mori. unus annus.
Here are a couple of my most recent posts to get an idea of what I do. Mainly JSE and Markiplier but occasionally other things rot my little brain until I put it in paper.
Every time I read a KaiShin fic and Kaito's hands are described as calloused from doing acrobatics/gymnastics, this is literally where my mind goes. Without fail
Big announcement for any Unus Annus fans who may still be hanging around Tumblr!! I was an artist on this project back in 2021, and after all this time it's finally preparing to be brought to life but it needs some help to be fully made. Whether you can support or not, at the very least reblogging this news to spread the word as much as possible would be super deeply appreciated!! 🙏
BACK THE KICKSTARTER HERE
(Full project details below the break)
What is it?
The Unus Annus Tome (UATome) is a piece of community work which sprung to life as the YouTube project "Unus Annus" came to a close. Given the impact that this project had, the UATome is our way of saying thank you to these creators for improving our lives and setting many of us on a better path. Although the original project is gone, we are keeping our memories alive by working with roughly 200 artists and numerous other community members to memorialize our favorite moments and lessons into this giant tome!
Starting out as a wish and a hope, this project began as one individual reaching out to artists and asking for their help; hoping to collect some beautiful artwork and meet people who were similarly affected by Unus Annus. A great many people came to aid in this idea, and began the UATome. It has taken 3 years, but we have finally collected ourselves and begun putting together the final pieces of the puzzle. From this, our small group of dedicated workers have been working with many artists and community members to compile their artwork and messages inspired by Unus Annus into a singular book, bind it, and send it the creators: Mark Fischbach (Markiplier) and Ethan Nestor (CrankGameplays).
We will compile all backer rewards and finish the contents of the Tome within two months of this Kickstarters' end. From there we can begin producing the final product with the help of Dimitris Koutsipetsidis (@dimitris_bookbinding_corner on Instagram). The baseline for successful completion of this project is $4,500 where we can have this printed and bound in the simplets basic form. On the other end of the spectrum if we raise $8,000+ we can develop the tome to the nth degree with metal accoutrements, designs, and a case to house the tome; allowing it to last for generations. This kickstarter is a way for fans and volunteers to assist in making this project a realized dedication. From the materials, labor, and countless hours dedicated to make this tome; by contributing anything, you are making a huge contribution and helping us out!
If we reach the goal, we can have the project printed, hand bound with leather, and delivered in a custom parcel/box to the hands of Mark and Ethan.
This design belongs to my dear friend, they don’t have any socials that I know of, but this is their own Annus (AU) design that they wanted me to draw! (Currently working on Unus)
Also happy (late) Unus Annus death-anniversary! 🖤🤍
“We may only have a year but we’ll make memories that will last a lifetime.” - Mark
“Like an hourglass, it feels like the inevitability of time is slipping slowly away from you- and even if the timer stopped for something else, say, a channel, that didn’t mean that the timer stopped for you, but that doesn’t mean that the timer is not going to stop. Someday. And every grain of sand is slowly running out for all of us, and eventually... You won’t even see the end when it comes, it’ll just be a slow fade or a sudden stop and then- *pop* All gone.”
“Anyway”
Love me a little Unus Annus/Memento Mori in my fun fidget toy review :’)
