The boys had another paediatrician appointment this morning for an update on the reflux situation (which hasn’t changed). The appointment was in the Bancroft unit within the maternity wing of Lister Hospital. It’s so strange to be in a room right next to the waiting room I sat in so regularly, waiting for my consultant appointments 2 and a half years ago. We walked past the door of the #neonatal where the boys spent the first 2 weeks of their lives. I’m not sure why, but a photo seemed very important to me. They entered those tiny 4lb skin and bones, that struggled to breathe, couldn’t feed... and now look at them! My pregnancy was rough, but my goodness our NHS is bloody amazing. I have a warm feeling being back there, and I can’t fault my experience one bit #blogger #pblogger #mblogger #cute #neonatal #love #twins #twinning #twinboys #ideniticaltwins #brothers #nofilter #twinsandmultiples #mamaxluvs #twinstagram #happy #smile #model #amazing #ukmumsquad #blogger #mumlife #momlife #mum #mom (at Lister Hospital) https://www.instagram.com/p/BoKZ31qhsI1/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1kbd58h3slm7h

💛✨ BABYWEARING ✨💛 I used this carrier a lot with Isaac and I don't think I could handle being a mother of two without it... Oliver is in it a long of the time and I Can breastfeed in it too which helps a lot. People always comment on how Oliver is so chilled out but I'm pretty sure it's because he's close to me whenever he needs to be. It's scientifically proven that you can't cuddle a baby too much. Our society's perception that you can spoil a baby with cuddles is outdated advice that was popular in the Victorian era... I think this is the best thing I bought by far in terms of baby stuff. It's been used so much it's very knackered so I treated myself to a new one which should arrive soon 😊 . . . . . . . . . . . #youngmum #youngmom #youngparent #parenting #pregnancy #birth #instaparenting #kids #babies #motherhood #mumlife #lionessmama #uniteinmotherhood #positivity #ukmums #youngmumma #mblogger #mumoftwo #mumssupportingmums #babywearing #sling #babycarrier #connecta #integrababy #attachmentparenting #gentleparenting

Yesterday we went down to ironbridge , had a picnic and found a couple of the ducks. We wasn't able to do the whole duck trail as we stupidly forgot Bethies pushchair and she would have been exhausted but we all had a lovely morning. It was nice to get out of the house and just relax for once #ironbridge #letsgoquackers #bridge #shropshire #telford #england #ironbridgegorge #summer #dayout #bankholiday #uk #sun #sunshine #telford50 #river #riversevern #sunnyday #makingmemories #mummyblog #weekend #mblogger #discovertelford

So entering week 2 of lock-down I still felt pretty down so I called a few of my friends and it was really interesting to see that a lot of them felt the same way too, we all just took nipping out to the shops and seeing each other regularly for granted and now it’s been taken away.
This week I was still at work for one day on our rota system and after work I headed for the shops, I had to queue for about 30 minutes with my list in hand, hoping that I would be able to get what I wanted. I think I managed to get about 75% of what was on my list but still no flour, soap, pasta and very limited fresh fruit and vegetables, the shop operated on a one in, one out system and you were only allowed to go in alone, it was advised that children should stay at home, which is a real shame because Haribo loves helping me when shopping but I’d rather keep him and everyone safe.
We managed to Facetime some of Haribo’s friends which was lovely for them to have a chat, they were showing each other their toys and playing games, it was so nice for them to have some interaction although it was in a rather strange way.
With Haribo we’ve been doing some activities from a great book I purchased before the lock down called ‘5 minute mum‘ she’s on Instagram and she’s recently wrote a book which has all of her activities in. It isn’t an advert or a sponsored post but I just find when my mind has gone blank if I have a flick through her book it will inspire a thought for Haribo.
We’ve been doing the ‘Letter of the Day’ activity and it’s really brought on Haribo’s vocabulary and encourage him with his writing/mark making. He can now confidently write a H and he will generally have a try to write the letter that is our chosen letter of the day.
Also when I’ve done my weekly shop, I’ve picked up a magazine for him if I think that there is one that would interest him, if there’s nothing there, I’ve kept back issues for him so we try and do a bit of focused time each day where we do a puzzle or some colouring as he was due to start nursery school this September but I’m now not that sure what is going to happen with that.
We’ve also baked and when the weather has been nice enough outside, we’ve been in the garden, we haven’t lived in our house that long and this was the year we were going to decorate and sort out the mess of the garden that the previous owners left behind but those plans have been put on hold so we are trying to do bits ourselves but a lot of it requires people with a lot more experience than my husband and I as first time house owners.
I’m starting to adjust to this new way of life but I am still missing seeing my mum even though we facetime, it’s really not the same but really trying to make the most of this time with Haribo and make it as fun for him as possible.
Coronavirus lockdown: Week 2 So entering week 2 of lock-down I still felt pretty down so I called a few of my friends and it was really interesting to see that a lot of them felt the same way too, we all just took nipping out to the shops and seeing each other regularly for granted and now it's been taken away.

We've had such a great time here in Norfolk and I'm so pleased I booked it on a whim a few months ago. It's been a tricky year with redundancy (husband) and the Big C (BFF) amongst other things. This mini period of hibernation from the world has been a welcome respite. We've been spending so much time rushing, stressing and cramming everything into our daily lives that it's been brilliant to take a moment and breathe in some good times. . #quotesaboutlife #quotestagram #quotelife #lifelesson #pbloggers #ukmumsquad #instamum #ukblogger #mblogger #30plusblogger #norfolkholiday #downtime #makingmemories #familytime #timetobreathe (at Thornham) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4DRq3FlP7S/?igshid=b9tsp447d1qv

I can’t describe the feeling of having my baby fall asleep in my arms. This is one thing I really struggled with when the boys were small, and feel like I missed out a bit. I’d have to put one down to feed the other, and it would have been nice to just have that time afterwards to just sit and let the world go by. Now when it happens I know my *not so* babies are really poorly. We have had a rough week. Harry has had ear infections in both ears, Ollie with one ear, and nasty fevers. Both barely sleeping (nor mummy or daddy). Then to top it off, both are allergic to antibiotics🤦🏼‍♀️ Here’s to a healthier next week... #mumlife #momlife #pblogger #mblogger #twins #twinmama #poorly #baby #instamum #instamom #instablogger #cuddles #love #allergy

De’lanci Nocturne Eyeshadow Palette
Hello beauties, I was recently on a scrolling spree on amazon, it’s addictive because they’re so many cheap beauty gadgets and makeup bits on there. Which brings me to this palette I found that I’m reviewing today. If you’re a regular reader you will know that I’m a equal lover of warm makeup looks, bright and bold and that glitter is definitely my friend. So when I saw a product that could offer…

So I received this from Bzzagent freebto test out, but to tell you the truth I didn’t really like the products. None of the products had pigment, and the packaging felt pretty cheap. I did think that the mascara was ok, it gave my lashes a little volume, oh yeah and the eyeliner was probably one of the better products. The liquid eyeliner went on very easy, it dried pretty quick, it was a more shiny black when it dried, and it stayed in place all day until I removed it (around 10 hours). I also did like the makeup bag that came with the makeup, it felt also like it was good quality. #myisadora #walgreenssponsored #gotitfree #isadora #makeup #makeupreview #liquidwyeliner #mascara #eyeshadowpalette #foundation #facepalette #lippie #makeupsponge #makeupbag #isadoracosmetics #mblogger https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz4TzR9JFWF/?igshid=16ya5ihr7t974

Week 3 - A mixed bag
Baby E is coughing and pulling away whenever she is on my left breast. She does not feed well from the left and she’s not staying latched on for long. My left breast is getting uncomfortably full again. The next day she was pulling away from both – it was making both my nipples really sore. I thought I was doing well and had overcome most problems faced by breastfeeding. I’ve been thinking about all the restrictions on me because I'm exclusively breastfeeding and I’m now wondering how I can keep going until she is 6 months or longer. Expressing my breast milk is definitely an option for the future. I’ve decided to look into using a different hold other than the cradle, the rugby ball hold seems the next best one. It works really well on the left. The next day my husband and I, took baby E out for lunch in Sale, I knew I would have to breastfeed her in public. We walked down the canal and stopped at The Bridge for a drink. She started to wake up and wanted a feed, time to use the cover-up. I found a comfy chair in a little corner of the pub and just started feeding her. We walked back down the canal and headed to Verace Kitchen in Sale town centre and I was halfway way through my pizza, when she wanted feeding and I just used the cover-up and had no issues. After we had a good day, a bad day followed I started feeling feverish and had a headache, so I automatically thought it was Mastitis again. I was so upset at the thought of going through it again. I carried on feeding her, even though I felt awful. I used a cold compress on both breasts to reduce the swelling and took Ibuprofen. The night feeds were bad but I got through with her pulling at my breasts. I knew of a breastfeeding support group at The Life Centre in Sale, so I decided to go and discuss my issues. I met some lovely mothers and I got some great advice to put into practice. The leader Jackie told me that she is pulling and fusing at the breast because the flow is too fast and I should let gravity help by laying down flat. So the next time I fed her on the left I tried it out and baby E was happy to feed. By the end of the week I was feeling happier, we had another family trip out with a picnic at Dunham, where I sat and fed her for 20 minutes. Everything is going well again. ☺
