Has someone already asked for Tengai and if not, can I ask for Tengai? (Someone already requested pops I’m 90% sure so we go with the other comfort character no one knows exists-)

No, no one has asked for Tengai yet. Also, actually, no one's requested that I do Pops yet--I've requested Pops from someone else (and reblogged it), but no one's asked about Pops from me.

How I feel about this character:

Positively but not strongly. He's in the orbit of my Ultimate Blorbo (Chisaki) so there is some focus on him, and he (like the rest of the Hassaikai) should have gotten more development, and his canon relationship with Rappa is pretty funny, but I don't have a lot of energy/time invested in him.

All the people I ship "romantically" with this character:

I don't really ship him with anyone, although I've seen (and do enjoy) a little bit of Rappa/Tengai.

My non-romantic OTP for this character:

See above--I haven't invested enough time/energy into understanding/fleshing him out to have specific relationships I want to put him into.

My unpopular opinion about this character:

??? I barely have opinions on him at all, and what even counts as an unpopular opinion for a character like Tengai?

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

Same as the rest of the Hassaikai/Expendables, I wish he would have gotten more screen time and character development.

You wished you could find the right words to say in moments like these but they were often lost on your tongue when he'd had you busy like this. It was killing him to do this to you, but he needed to at least keep up with it.

You see, Tengai was always the same. He liked things the same. He followed the same routine in the morning, the same method at work, the same orders when he had take-out, the same everything. It was only when you'd made your presence more prominent in his life that he finally started to want to shake things up here and there. Suddenly, he began to try new foods. He slept in sometimes rather than getting up on his usual schedule, or dare he say...called out of work once in a while to use his vacation days.

Despite this, it was rather hard for him to break out of a few of his usual methods. Unashamed, you'd introduced a new world to him and naturally it also included developing a sex life with him significant other. Tengai was always gentle with you, always kind and patient. His every move in bed was dedicated to you. He catered to your every whim, all your needs. He'd never find the time to finish before you unless you took the lead and tended to him first. His position remained the same most times as well. You weren't one to complain but communication was important in a relationship. Tengai wasn't a mind-reader so sooner or later you needed to express what you felt was lacking in the relationship...or the bedroom more specifically. So one day you sat him down and told him how you felt. Of course the first thing he did was apologize and took all the blame upon himself. You took a minute to explain that it wasn't anyone's fault and that you wanted to express what you'd like to see a little more often. He pushed himself out of his comfort zone bit by bit. At first it wasn't really all that noticeable. Just him biting down a tiny bit harder after kisses or him moving to grip at your thighs less gentle than you were used to. Bit by bit you began to realize he was working on himself each time he bedded you. In his mind, practice meant perfect so he'd practice more and more to perfect his craft.

That's why it was rather difficult right now to keep the edge on top of his actions. He was by no means a rough or demanding man when it came to you. It was foreign feeling having worked up the nerve to demand you on your hands and knees in front of him without immediately apologizing for taking a rough tone right afterward. Yet, he held his tongue and remained firm. You smirked at him and did as you were told, taking him entirely into your mouth and swiveling your tongue right around the head of his member, reveling in the way his knees had gotten weak for you. He had to work up the energy to stop you before he finished. For a minute you thought he had given up and was going right back to what he knew best. However, he managed to surprise you again when he grabbed your hair (or the back of your neck depending on reader) and roughly led you to lay on the bed. Rather than littering you with his usual sweet butterfly kisses, he instead began leaving bite marks along your body. It took a lot for him to not stop and apologize when he saw the tear running from your eye. He wanted to wipe it away and care for you, his everything.

He held strong and reached to slap the inner part of your thighs hoping to leave a stinging feeling. He felt rewarded with each rough moan you let out just for him. It helped to soothe his thoughts running ramped with the need to tenderly love on you instead. "T-Tengai please?~" Your feeble begging had brought him back to reality when he started to just barely drift away. He'd flipped you on your stomach and reached beneath you to lift your ass slightly up for him. Although he was focused on giving you exactly what you desired at first, he'd taken just a second to gently enter you rather than slamming into you. He'd given you time to adjust to his size before moving. His motions usually so sensual and slow were now much faster and rougher. He'd gripped into your soft skin so hard he left fingernail dents into it. Another first for him, he chased his own ending and found it to be oh so rewarding cumming with you instead of behind you. If anything, it felt a little more connecting than the other option. He was also given the chance to return to his usual self by giving you aftercare.

Honestly, he's not had a minute to try everything he wanted to this time around. He also had a harder time getting fully into things due to his caring nature for you.

Good Day/Evening, QW. I have this request for you: If All For One had the Shie Hassaikai under his thumb, what secondary Quirks would he give each member to make them more deadly. This is in the same vein as your post about what Secondary Quirks AFO would give members of the LOV.

While I'm not sure this would work out from a character perspective given how much Overhaul hates villains, it is interesting from a combination perspective.

Shin Nemoto- Rivet Stab: There really isn't any deeper reasoning for this idea. It's just something to give Shin more offensive viability since his Quirk can't be used that well in a fight.

Soramitsu Tabe- Tongue Web: While I wanted to do this one for the pure creepiness factor, it does work to help out Tab. It can work to improve the range of "Food", letting him pull stuff into his giant mouth.

Rikiya Katsukame- Hypertrophy: This mostly works to extend Rikiya's range, letting him grab people more easily for "Vitality Stealing", but it could augment the power of his larger form by making him even bigger.

Chronostasis- Air Walk: Since Chronostasis needs to stand still to fire his arrows, being able to move and stand in the air could give him a lot more options to fire his arrows while mitigating the risk of being an easy target.

Toya Setsuno- Shoulder-Mounted Jets: Not much to say about this one. It could help Toya get away if people get too close to him, and it would give him more angles and opportunities to use "Larceny" on people by flying around or passing them.

Mimic- Storage: Considering that Mimic can move around without being noticed, he could just carry around the various Yakuza in his own body, making it extremely useful for either escape attempts or surprise attacks, essentially becoming a Yakuza clown car.

Yu Hojo- Springlike-Limbs: Not only could this help Yu's poor mobility by giving him springy legs, but it would massively improve his offensive power, augmenting the damage his crystals can do. People are going to be impaled on his crystals by the time a fight is over.

Deidoro Sakaki- Muscle Augmentation: The whole point of this upgrade is to help Deidoro's staying power. If he's muscled up, he can stay in the fight longer and keep up with people to keep them in the range of "Sloshed". The only issue is trying to stop a giant drunk dude when he gets hammered.

Hekiji Tengai- Air Cannon: Again, like Shin, this is to make up for his poor offense. The only reason I went with "Air Cannon" is because it could be used more easily, allowing him to drop his barriers, attack, and then put them back up without worry. Maybe he could combine it with "Barrier" to blast people who get too close.

Kendo Rappa- Impact Recoil: This is such a good combination with Rappa's brawler style. With his arm speed, Rappa could easily absorb an impact before it hits him, and then immediately counter with his own strength and the added strength of whomever is attacking him. The only issue is that he might refuse to use it out of a sense of fairness. In which case, I'd give him "Shock Absorption" instead.

Overhaul- Super Regeneration: While he has a lot of coverage, Overhaul is sorely lacking in personal defense. So with this, he can deal with damage without using "Overhaul" and not have to worry about losing his arms. And if he blows bits off of himself, he could grow them back, giving him even more biomass to work off of. Maybe he could even act as a weird healer, spreading bits of his flesh around to fix others.

I think where MHA fails, in part, and a series like say, One Piece, succeeds, is in the depiction and utilization of Willpower.

Will is a tangible, functioning power system in one piece. Haki is the physical manifestation of a person's will, most directly through Conqueror's Haki, but armament and observation are other examples.

Willpower exists in MHA, as it does everywhere, but doesn't really have a functional utilization that is expressed throughout the world. Kirishima, for example, during the fight with Rappa and Tengai, at first is easily blown away, but then suddenly can hold his ground, I guess due to willpower. In part a problem is there is no real change or development. Kirishima in one moment is blown away, then a few minutes later is suddenly empowered by...memories of a hero he idolized. He didn't really learn. He just plot armored his way through.

During the fight with Kaido, luffy is using haki to protect himself, extending his haki's aura to keep from making direct contact with Kaido and Kaido's attacks a significant amount of the time, best shown during that final clash, with Bajrang Gun, or when their blows split the sky at the start of their final bout. Luffy is tangibly learning through this fight, shown when Kaido strikes him, and later during the fight luffy states that there was a different taste to Kaido's blows, and he gets it, that Kaido is imbuing his attacks with both Armament and Conqueror's Haki.

Do you have any headcannons on how the Hassaikai (other than kai) interact with Eri?

Ooo, that's a good question. Let's break it up into canon/canon-adjacent and an AU where Eri, at baseline, isn't being tortured for her blood.

(Important note: 'Expendables' usually refers to the Eight Precepts + Chisaki, Kurono and Irinaka; they're all Expendables. Precepts or Eight would refer to the group of Eight that doesn't include Chisaki, Kurono, or Irinaka.)

Canon 'verse:

In a canon/canon-adjacent 'verse, I don't think the Eight interact with her at all; most (if not all) don't even realize she exists--although some of them suspect that their boss is hiding or just not talking about something--and if they find out later it's probably a huge test of their loyalty.

Kurono canonically interacts with her, probably regularly; he probably worries a bit over what they're doing to her, but as someone who grew up in a shitty abusive orphanage and then in the yakuza he doesn't exactly have a solid conception of what a healthy childhood is supposed to look like, so Kai's explanations of 'we're feeding her, we're giving her shelter, and we're leaving her alone except for getting her blood' satisfy him anytime he brings it up.

Irinaka has probably interacted with Eri a few times, but not frequently or regularly. He also doesn't have a solid conception of a healthy/normal childhood (tbh I don't think any of the Expendables do), nor does he fully realize what's going on with Eri.

Nemoto knows something's up--he's known Chisaki for years at this point, and can tell when he's getting cagey, but he can't get the answers out of him. If he were to stumble across Eri in person, however, he'd probably put some very concerning pieces together almost immediately and end up demanding answers instead of just gently nudging like he usually does--as cynical as he is, and as much hope as he gave up while on the streets, he still doesn't like it when children get hurt. And part of him thought that Chisaki was better.

Sakaki knows that Nemoto thinks something is up, but doesn't worry too much. If he ran into Eri, he would not put the pieces together, and also wouldn't really know how to interact with her. He has...very limited experience with children. (Sakaki: So, uh...you want a beer? Nemoto: SHE'S FOUR)

Setsuno would probably realize some stuff--not as much as Nemoto, but enough to know that something fucky is going on. Unlike Nemoto, he'd be scared rather than angry, so instead of demanding answers he'd resolve to instead keep an eye on her, and try to visit her when no one else is around to catch him. Setsuno has (or had) several younger siblings and often helped his older sister care for them (yay parentification from having depressed and overworked parents), so he's a lot better with Eri and a lot more responsible when it comes to Eri than anyone else expected. He'd also trust Chisaki a lot less after that, which Chisaki would notice but not understand, and that might end up causing problems in the circle.

Hojo, I don't (yet) have a solid backstory for, so I don't have a clear idea as to how he would interact with Eri like I do for the three I've listed so far. I want to say he'd interact with her in a similar way that he interacts with Tabe, or at least he'd try to. He might put together some pieces or not, but he'd almost certainly tell the other members of the Trash Trio about her. Eri herself might be intimidated by how tall and big he is.

Tabe would be curious. I headcanon him as intellectually disabled and mute (which is a headcanon I probably stole from you), so he definitely wouldn't realize what's going on. I think he and Eri might get along well, although Eri would be curious as to the signs he makes and why he doesn't talk.

Katsukame would scare her at first, completely by accident, just because he's so big. He'd probably sit or lie down so as not to scare her so much, but much like Sakaki he doesn't have a lot of experience with children and wouldn't really know how to interact with her. It's kind of a coin toss as to whether or not he realizes she's in a bad situation.

Rappa, like Katsukame, is a Big Guy and scares Eri at first, but he probably wouldn't totally process like 'oh she's scared and hurt.' He's just as loud and boisterous as he is with anyone else, in part because like many of the other Eight he has very little experience with children, and that would scare her even more. He might even try to pick her up which...would not go well.

Tengai also has very little experience with kids. He also have very little patience with them, because he doesn't understand them and he's probably already tired from dealing with Rappa. He'd be fine with Eri while she's quiet and not bugging him with questions, which that might be the whole visit, but if she started grabbing at him or bugging him with questions about his mask or earmuffs or why he's got his eyes closed all the time he's out. Only later would he realize that maybe that little girl is in a not-fantastic situation.

A kinder AU:

Let's take this AU as something like canon divergent, where Eri and Chisaki were introduced in a way that didn't make Chisaki think he was being replaced as Pops' child and trigger the abandonment issues he's in deep denial about. Maybe she just wandered into Kai's side of the complex one day, or they met before the Quirk accident. Things would definitely be different in that AU.

In this AU, I think Nemoto might end up volunteering as the primary caretaker, with Setsuno right behind him. A lot of people would be surprised at Setsuno stepping up. She'd still spend a lot of time with Chisaki, Kurono, and Irinaka, probably along with Pops, but Nemoto and Setsuno would have the most understanding of actual children among that group. She'd also probably warm up to Katsukame faster than to Rappa, since Katsukame would be calmer around her; it'd take a while for her to warm up to Rappa's boisterousness. Tengai would probably avoid her most of the time. Hojo I think would like letting her sit on his shoulders, and she'd probably like hanging out with Tabe. She'd like Sakaki while he's sober and calm. Not so much when he's drunk.
