you should take a break from the internet. seriously. no posting, reblogging, texting, etc. because its only causing you more suffering.

find somewhere outside and feel the pain until you cant feel it anymore. you know that you have to accept what happened. you know that only YOU can control your recovery. you have an anonymous friend rooting for you who genuinely sees your potential to heal yourself. you arent as weak as you may think you are.

there are a lot of people out there who are going to continue to sit on their asses and whine that life isnt fair. i dont think youre one of those people. i see you reblog posts often about how you feel like youre broken and wont ever recover. youre so much stronger than that bullshit. youre keeping yourself down instead of letting yourself grow.

letting go and growing might be one of the most painful things you ever have to go through. you can do it. youve already been through all that other painful shit.

I kinda hate that your right while also being very grateful anyone cares enough to say all this to me.

Acceptance is so fucking hard man. I do sometimes try to "feel it out" - even if its cringe I will put on music and let myself cry or even make vent art, just to get those feelings /out/. It never seems to be enough. Trauma created this black hole in me that will never be satisfied, and idk how to fix it.

I defintely dont want to just wallow forever, I cant stand the idea of being 40 and still being...this. I am working towards life changes [moving out of an abusers house and getting back to school] but that has just shaken me up again, its surfaced so much trauma. Like I'm trying to do the good things! Fix it! Why is my brain punishing me for that? Cos I have to stare reality in the face. And I always tried so hard not to do that.

I defintely think letting go and growing is in some ways gonna be more painful and difficult than my trauma itself. Which is weird to say, but I am glad you get it. There's a lot of fear around letting myself grow up, maintain a healthy weight, exit abuse cycles, cos it feels 'wrong' and not me, idk. Havent quite figured that one out.

In good news, I am gonna be getting off the internet super soon for a miniholiday of irl interactions that should build up positive, healthy experiences for me. That has partly stirred up trauma stuff too, as I just havent really had good, healthy experiences. Its terrifying. But I hope it will benefit me a lot.

Thank you to everyone that has been so kind over our Birthday Weekend 😁💛 . . We had a lovely weekend in Norfolk and we left feeling like it was the last time we would be there for a while. But it was so chilled. We went to @plattensfishchips on Saturday - it’s been too long and we’ve been craving them - they were just what we needed. Great safety measures in place and bringing some fun with it too! Sunday was fun. We went crabbing 🦀 in the morning and went to @theglobeatwells in the afternoon. The staff make this place!
