Seeing the Doctor and Donna together again just made me want an entire season of "Doctor hangs out with platonic gal-pals while the Master gets up to some shit and it ends with Donna yelling at them to just snog already".

Terry Pratchett and I used to joke that we talk about "going to meet our maker," and if we kill characters in our fiction, then maybe one day there'd be a knock at the door and we'd open the door, and there would be some of our characters looking up at us sadly saying, "Why did I have to suffer and die?" Sometimes I feel I am too old to be part of the Good Omens fandom. I could be their mom or even grandma. But them I remember the author is older than me, the leading actors are my age and I probably read the book before some in the fandom were born, so I guess I can stay put and be a cool aunt?

so, @halemerry wrote a very well-written explanation on the coffee theory. it made me change my whole opinion on the coffee theory, but at the same time, i still think gaiman just needed something to leave us on a cliff hanger. or to get us attached, and all good movies and shows have uneasiness at the end of it, some have good endings and some have bad. but, the good omens story isn't finished yet. (i have only watched s2 once, and only re-watched four episodes of s1 because my prime video stopped working. 😭) edit: i don't believe in the coffee being tampered yet, but the metatron used manipulation tactics on aziraphale. (maybe, i need to re-watch s2 and finish s1...)

Another assignment! This one, I had to make up a logo for something. I decided to make one for the "Neil Gaiman Universe". Like the MCU, but better (imho).

I think my professors are going to get sick of me putting my interests/hyperfixations in all of my assignments... oh well.

The concept behind this: the wings are actually raven wings, which fits with Good Omens, Death from the Sandman, etc. but also fit the various ravens in his stories, like Matthew/Jessamy from the Sandman and the ravens in American Gods.

The circle both is a button (for Coraline, of course) but also a World. Circles have a lot of inherent meanings, like infinity and unity, so this kind of plays into it as well.

The "NG" is inspired by the Good Omens "M," but the G is actually based off of the typeface used for The Sandman.

I had a lot of fun with this and I hope other people who enjoy Mr. Gaiman's works also like it.
