Like a completely normal adult person, after watching the new trolls movie, I obsessively started putting together the brothers' backstory, the deeper reasons for their separation as well as how that all took place without disregarding the fact that they were trapped in the troll tree, which of course evolved into a fic in (forever) progress... yeah

Anyway, even though they aren't actively in the story much, i needed to design the parents, so uh meet Rosiepuff's daughter, Tulip, and her husband Branch.

I designed them based on the brothers' adult looks and in Tulip's case also on her mom's.

worst way to start my new year, thanks. i have a lot of things to say about these companies but i'm tired and just keeping it focused to the pin side of things for this one. do not ever buy pins from these companies, literally ALL of them are stolen from small artists like me. if you want to buy enamel pins, check out etsy, and artist's personal websites and shops! (though even Etsy has some bootleg pins that ship straight from china, so tread carefully…)

Every pin I've designed is, thus far, EXCLUSIVE to my etsy. if you find it anywhere else, it's been ripped off! and once these stupid bootlegs pop up, it's basically a never ending game of whack-a-mole trying to get them all taken down...

They probably were taken by Bergens when the brothers were still kids. They’d be extremely proud and blown away to see what they accomplished :,)

Flora was very book smart like Clay. She was a bit shy but had huge dreams to learn about the world beyond the troll tree. She appeared to be a bit quiet but never could stop talking about her special interests when one asked. She was very thoughtful and showed her love through gifts and treats (like poppy :,3)

Birch was a tough troll that acclimated to the survivalist life very well. He tried very hard to appear tough but was a huge softie inside. He was a huge goofball and gravitated to Flora’s big ideas and dreams. He promised Flora that one day he’d find a way to escape the tree with her and her mom (Rosie and their eventual family).
