Tested some hair dyes on a piece of rabbit pelt I 'mummified' the same way I do the rabbit feet. Tried Manic Panic, Strawberry Leopard, and Age Beautiful dyes - AB being the only permanent one, mixed with 20 developer.

Pretty pleased. The semi-perms took awesome whereas the AB was sort of meh - these sat for 1 1/2 hours, so I suspect the fur was too light for the dye, maybe?

i printed these out and laminated them to be used as dry-erase note pads for our grocery lists.

we had a little lined post it designated for that. i doodled a bat pelt thinking i would draw a fresh pelt for each list, but my husband refused to write on it unless i laminated it 🙄

so i made BETTER pelts worth laminating 👹

I don't know if you have any interest in taxidermy specimens, but Dublin museum (the "Dead Zoo") has a case of stuffed rabbits displaying a range of coat phenotypes.

Wow, that is a really cool idea! Do you have more pictures of it? I’d love to see something like that in person, with rabbits or any domestic species really! I have a small rabbit rainbow in my closet, like a mini version of this with just pelts instead of full on taxidermy.
