Reiji had always put you in the first place – you were the center of his universe, the most wonderful person in the world. No one could compare to you, and he told about it openly, was generous in compliments of all kinds.
You were his treasure – and he treated you as well. You were his secret – and he did everything to protect you. It was impossible not to fall for his charm, especially for an ordinary girl like you, who wasn't familiar with show business. Reiji assured you – you were the dream of his: a shy feminine girl from a good family. You were studying in a college, so you maintained a strict schedule and rarely went to party with your friends and on dates with him – and it was right what he wanted: a strict busy little lady with a sharp acquisitive mind.
Your mother raised you in the right way, made you an epitome of a good wife. You were dreaming of a family life, didn't find pleasure in reaching goals and competing with others for a better scholarship like many other modern girls did, still you found pleasure in studying and learning something new. You were bearing traditions inside your heart and believed that woman could be happy only in marriage, creating a happy home and raising healthy children. You weren't as bad-tempered as other girls of your generation, and every time Reiji acted unfairly with you, you found a way to play everything off with a joke, never focusing on negative things.
Reiji bestowed you with his love and financial stability, your every breath and the simplest action were glorified to the point of being god-like, impossible to repeat by someone else. He was talking about you only and had known everything about your family and friends until their phone numbers and addresses. You didn't even notice how you were telling him everything – Reiji was a funny person and a horrible chatterbox, he could talk out everyone in a couple of minutes. You met with Reiji only a few times, but you and him had already had a special greeting for each other, and everything seemed like you two were a match made in Heaven.
'Our time together is so special to me.'
'I wish I could stay with you every minute of your life.'
'You are so precious... What have I done to deserve an angel like you?'
'I really love watching you when you're studying.'
'It's a great honor for me to date a girl like you. How could a human be so perfect in every way? Please let me feel just a bit of your divine.'
Nevertheless Reiji was rating you shamelessly, but he had never shown it. The way you walked, the way you talked to him and other men, your health, vivacity of your character, tenderness, even the sparkle in your eyes and many other things – everything was rated. You had a calm spirit, but stress from studying and earning money was killing you slowly, making you act impatiently and hysterically when it reached a critical point. You could be placid only with Reiji by your side, so he suggested you to live with him: he knew how to find the right words to make you agree. Reiji was confident it would be hard for you to refuse as he had always made his apartment a perfect nest for you: here you were protected from everything, your every whim was fulfilled immediately. Your mother raised you in the right way, but your father – this scoundrel! – had never treated you right. Your father was sure: you were a wuss and an idiot. You were never good enough for him, as he was wishing to raise a boy, not a girl; you managed to disappoint him long before your birth. He was the one to keep an eye on your academic performance and punish you for bad grades, squeeze the life out of you to make you achieve at least something in your worthless life. Numerous times you ended up crying in front of Reiji, not being able to endure your father's insults. It was hard for Reiji to see you upset: you were fine ten minutes after crying, and his heart was damaged with another scar forever.
Reiji loved you to the point of going insane and he had never tried to hide it, but not you. You were quiet in your feelings and couldn't show him a gale of emotions – you were downtrodden and afraid. Afraid to be vulgar, afraid to be noisy, afraid to be intrusive, but the most out of all, you were afraid to be a burden. You were afraid of being used and thrown away like a doll that couldn't entertain its owner anymore, so you acted like the most devoted dog to Reiji. You were clinging to him, almost falling on your knees to meet his approval and love if you felt him being cold with you. Reiji loved to know that you were so needy for him, but he was fair and punished you with his absence for misbehaving.
'I know what is best for you.'
'You should do what I tell you to.'
'I don't want to share you even with your family. I need you more than everyone else.'
'Your friends are a bad influence on you. Do you want to end up like all the girls from your circle of contacts? Fucked for a one night and then forgotten? Is this what you want?'
'You are differ from them now. Accept it and find worthy friends from married women. We are going to marry soon and I want you to surround yourself with good people.'
'What do you mean by calling me strange? Does respectful attitude towards you seem strange to you? Should I start treating you like a slut? Would you be happy then?'
Your virginity and inexperience were crucial factors for Reiji's determination to marry you. Despite he wasn't a virgin himself (more to say, he had never kept purity in a sexual relationships between him and other women, as he liked to fall deeper into the abyss of sin), Reiji demanded from you to be pure and untouched – he was fed up with one night stands and women, who weren't ready to sacrifice themselves for serving their husband. Reiji wanted your reputation to be perfect, because he had known: after his marriage all the magazines and paparazzi would start searching for any information about you, especially about your past. He wanted to be proud of his wife. He wanted to be sure that no one would want to hurt him or you. It was reasonable and you couldn't blame him for it.
Despite Reiji's conviction that he would deflower you on wedding night, he couldn't resist the urge to touch you. The nature of libertine was calling for debauchery, and he couldn't stop imagining you in the most degrading positions, fully dependent on his will. Reiji loved to have you sitting on his knees, as he was savoring the sense of his hands squeezing the soft skin and fat of your waist. He was intoxicated by your heavy breath when his kisses found your neck, was losing his mind every time you arched your back and the shape of your ribs was seen when he slid his hand to your crotch and teased the unopened bud of yours. Reiji had never pushed his fingers inside, saved this moment for the future night that he was waiting so impatiently for – he wanted your hymen to be intact and inviolated by man, so he kept strict on this rule. You could never imagine how hard it was for him to control himself from intruding your charming rosy mouth with his manhood, what a great strength of self control saved your body parts from being marked with his seed before you became his wife.
The curve of your loins, the perfect shape of your buttocks, the tender skin of your full and rounded breasts with sensuous nipples made Reiji think that Cupid himself had beautified you with a special delight. You were inflamed with an inner voluptuous fire every time Reiji had laid his palms on your most sensitive parts, it was impossible for you to hide the pleasure you got from his actions and cruel kisses, that left your lips all swollen and red. Reiji, who had exceptionally refined yet masculine features and a cheerful personality, had brought with him joy and serenity whenever he was going to, his character had lighted the darkest days and made all the worries go away, but how violent this young Dionysius was in his desires when he turned into a god of lechery: Reiji had a tongue of seducer, all his whispers and words were oozing lewdness, all his kisses were hot and sensual. Only Reiji could defame the bliss of purity without stealing it, and he loved to see the shame of virginity dying in the first orgasm. Nothing was sweeter for him than the depravity of a premarital foreplay; nothing could promise him more pleasures than a young body that was trembling under him. How easy and exciting it was for Reiji to violate your womanhood with his mouth, tease your desirous, and leaking hole with his tongue. You granted Reiji with amorous wetness of your core, moistened his lips in it, and he, not being able to control his desire, spilled his seed on your quivering hole.
You sinned with him like all the other women did, charmed by his narcotic words and oaths, and now you had lost your right to make mistakes as you still wanted to become his wife. Attentive, gracious, humble, respectful and obedient you were trapped in his game forever, dreaming of being put in the spotlight one more time.

To My Dearest One (Leon Kennedy x GN!Reader)
Tumblr media
Premise: Leon comes home after a mission.
Sad Vibes/Slight Comfort, Song fic
Word count: 1072
Content warning: Not beta read or really edited if I'm honest. Vague Infinite Darkness and RE6 spoilers. Leon and his whole deal, especially post-RE4 stuff. Depression. Isolation. Implied suicidal thoughts. Reader is sort of a living emotional crutch for Leon. Also reader is not quite all right. I can't write domestic fluff for the life of me. Look, the grammar is going to be a mess, I constantly switch between using APA, AP, and MLA on a regular basis for professional stuff. My brain is gonna zone out here.
Song fic time and first time writing Leon. Came up with the idea while I was studying for my interrogation test for history and I had a concert where this song was performed playing in the background. Finished writing this in between studying for my psych exam in a couple days. Hope you enjoy (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)
Song: Itoshiki Hito E (To My Dearest One) by Kotobuki Reiji (CV: Morikubo Showtaro), Translation by Utapri No Sekai (slight variation by me)
The apartment is quiet besides the sounds of light music and cooking as he enters. Despite living there for a few years, it lacks much character causing it to feel hollow. One of the only things proving that it was Leon's apartment was the sun damaged photos, yellowed with time.
One of them from years ago as he visited Sherry on her birthday. The smile on the girl's face. Claire.
It all felt so distant.
Everything grew out of reach. Nothing seemed to last for a broken man, especially for one who had the bright sparkle in his eyes beaten out so violently.
As he approaches the kitchen, the smell of onion and herbs wafting through the air, Leon notices the nostalgic yellow tinted light that colors the white walls.
At the stove-top was a familiar figure standing before a pot of soup.
You.
A heart made of glass is always... hurting anything that tries to touch it. Yet you embrace it so tight without fear.
His arms wrap around your waist as his head sits upon yours in this rehearsed dance. He smells your shampoo as he takes a deep breath.
"Welcome back, Leon.” You say in a light tone as if he wasn't gone for a little over a week. "I'm making tortellini soup tonight."
He can hear how much you missed him. Even if you don't say it, those feelings tinge your voice.
"Mmm," he sighs with closed eyes, "That sounds good. Haven't had that in awhile."
Leon’s hold on you is strong. He wants to savor the moment.
There’s an itch in the back of his mind; one that would never leave. That this relationship would only hurt you. That he was taking advantage of your kindness. That he could never express just how much he loved the sense of normalcy you brought.
As if sensing his emotions, you quietly grab his left hand with a softness Leon wasn’t used to feeling.
Your hands were light compared to his calloused hands, which were covered in blood. Regrets marred his digits.
The plush feeling of your lips is unfamiliar to his inner wrist. This intimate touch caused Leon to melt.
A simple touch, a simple act, a simple situation in your eyes but it doesn’t feel so simple to him.
A clink as the spoon is set down. You turn around to face him.
But such happiness is sometimes, through cruelty of God, suddenly in front of my eyes… disappears and it makes me so scared.
The look in your eyes, how greatly it contrasted the steely eyes he would see everyday. Fresh eyes that didn’t twist with fear, changed. Not hardened by painful experiences. The look in your eyes is different.
Tired but understanding.
It is something that Leon was grateful for. A calm in a life that he felt so little choice or support in. A happiness from not feeling alone.
A deep hunger satiated but it caused a fear to rise.
What if you saw what he faces everyday? What if you got hurt even more than before? What if… you left?
They kept scratching at the back of his mind.
I live only for your sake. This voice will take an oath, to my dearest one.
Night carried on. Dinner came and went. No discussion of his work.
The ticking of the clock counting down the seconds before the feeling of the mattress would soon greet the two of you. The nighttime routine felt so unfamiliar. He was a stranger to this domestic moment.
“Apparently Sara,” your coworker, Leon had to remind himself as you spoke, “had decided to drag me out while you were gone. Saying that I was being too focused on work again.”
You roll your eyes in a familiar manner as you wipe the skin of your face with a cloth. There’s a soft, tired look, one that is aware of reality.
“Right.” Leon responds. “I already know you were hunched over your desk, typing away at a proposal looking like Gollum." He chuckles as he remembers the first time he saw you at work.
“Hey.” You pout cutely in response, before sitting on the bathroom counter and sighing. “Let me see your face.”
You put out your hand expectantly and he obliges as he puts his chin in your hand. Reaching with your other to grab his cloth and wetting it with water, you smile sweetly with the look that Leon loved.
A careful caress with the cloth as you clean his face. Your thumb traces over faint scars, reminders of the memories he can never escape. There’s a tightening in his heart at this touch.
As you finish and wring out the cloth, you turn back to face him still sitting on the counter. The softness of your hand shifts to cradle the side of his face.
In response, he lifts your chin with his fingers and gives that charming smile of his. “I have the world in my hands.”
“Not sure about that.” You reply softly. “Pretty sure I got it in mine.”
As you get into bed, due to a learned habit after living with Leon for four months, get into the side of the bed away from the door. He lies across from you and lets out a heavy sigh, as he feels exhaustion wash over him.
His hand finds its way to your waist as the light turns off. Leon’s face burrows itself in the crook of your neck, like something was commanding him to get as close as possible to you. To find the core to the warmth. The rhythm of your breath, a lullaby, gently sends him to sleep as his fingers curl atop your skin slightly.
Even at that moment, the scratching turned into digging.
Your eyes heavy and on the verge of the precipice, a whisper drifts from Leon’s lips as he is asleep.
“My only… Make me happy when…”
Will it be sent to you? Will it be conveyed? Words will never be enough… for this feeling of mine, to my dearest one.
By the time the rays of the sun bounce off your gentle skin, Leon is awake and doesn’t move as he watches you sleep peacefully. A smile creeps onto his face as he notices a line of drool.
In that moment, the man, who long lost his faith and wishes, says a silent prayer.

ALI. SHE/HER. 26.
Tumblr media
Welcome aboard! I'm the captain of this here ship and this is where I house the heftiest harem! I promise not to count if you wont.
This is a judgment-free zone!
You can expect everything from scripts to full blown fics of me interacting with my f/os as well as them interacting with one another! I don't really have much of a set AU for any one f/o and if I do, the details will be specified. However, I do have bulk AUs where I group multiple f/os at a time and interact with them there.
With one on one stuff, I tend to reality base ship, which means my f/os live with me in my universe as opposed to me inserting myself in theirs. Due to this, they tend to help me through many of my real life issues when I need that type of comfort.
I do not need anyone to remind me that no one is real, that this is fictional, yadda yadda yadda. I've been at this since I was 11 lol. I know what I'm doing. This is all in good fun and intentional.
If I make you uncomfortable, block me.
General things to be cautious of when viewing this blog: NSFW (cmon, obviously lol), deep mental health discussions, life stressors.
Other things to be cautious of when reading: Open relationships, jealousy, feelings of insecurity and inferiority, bickering between men, my f/os are stupidly in love with me and behave as if there's no one else for them. If that's going to bother you, steer clear.

Start of Something New
Based off the long, long headcanon I have of how Reiji and Ranmaru met and how they (kinda) got together.
This fic takes place during their Marriage/I'm Your Life photoshoot, a few years after QUARTET NIGHT was formed.
A mini collaboration project between my friend @pineappuu-pineappley and I, she drew bombass art for the fic!! Check it out below!!!! I sure hope I did the colouring some justice weeps- It took me a while to put it all together ;u;;; so much effort ajsdklasd
The link to the fic (with no art) on AO3 [here] or you can read it (and look at art!!) after the read more:
~~~~~
Beautiful. Everything that his eyes laid upon was a work of art. Marble pillars lined the long hallway, ascending up into an arch that melded together to form the high ceiling of the chapel. An array of golden flecks splattered across the ceiling shone like stars where the sunlight hit the painted dome, casting a shimmery glow in the air that seemed almost magical.
The sound of his footsteps reverberated around the empty hall with each step he took, reminding him how quiet it was without anyone else around. It had been bustling with so much activity earlier during their photoshoot with staff members at every corner, packing equipment and shouting instructions. All in all, it was a busy day and Reiji was glad to have some peace at last.
Golden hues from the setting sun painted the ground with the image of the stained glass in front of him, reminding him that night was soon to fall, and that he should be heading back soon with the others. But he didn't want to go back just yet. As he approached the altar, he reached out to touch the slab of cool marble, marveling at the inscriptions in a language he couldn't understand. He traced them with his finger, wondering what it all meant.
This chapel had been abandoned once, but their boss had it restored within a week to its current state of glory. The theme of marriage had been swimming around in his mind since the moment that it was proposed to them. Closing his eyes, he hummed the chorus of the song.
To stand here with his beloved, looking into their eyes as they exchanged vows, promising their everything to each other for eternity... Reiji couldn't picture that in his mind. There was too much baggage that he carried in his heart to let anyone else in, let alone think about marriage. A certain person's face floated up from the depths of his memory, and he wrenched his eyes open, falling back against the altar. He grabbed onto the cold surface to find his steady ground again, sucking in a shaky breath before letting the air out between gritted teeth. That could have been them once, but thanks to him, on this day ten years ago...
The sound of the waves crashing against the shore outside was faint, but it was piercingly loud in the silence. It was a bad idea, now that he thought about it, to wander off on his own. With nothing else to occupy his mind, the thoughts that he squashed down on a daily basis came crawling back out, gripping his very being, claiming him as their prisoner.
"Reiji?"
That one voice rang out clear in the chapel. He had heard it many times, be it on stage right next to him or in the dressing room, always in a low, gruff tone. Reiji turned his eyes onto the figure walking towards him, who had his hands stuffed in the pockets of his dress pants. He usually saw him in casual clothes (with the exception of their group costumes) but he had to admit, Ranmaru looked very good in a fitted white suit. The fabric hugged his figure well, accenting his broad shoulders and slim waistline, the pressed pants making his long legs seem longer. Their costume designer had done a great job this time round.
"I thought you went home, Ran-Ran," Reiji said, tucking his hair behind his ear. "You disappeared right after we ended."
Ranmaru stopped right in front of him, a couple steps down from where he was at the altar. Now that he had a closer look, his suit was wrinkled from sleep. "I took a nap here for a bit. Heard you walking 'round," he said, yawning. The look that he gave Reiji was tinged with sleepiness, which reminded him very much of a housecat. "What are you doing here?"
"I just wanted to take a look at it all again. Shiny-san found such a treasure sitting by the seaside, I'm surprised that the locals didn't know about it." Reiji looked back up at the painted baby angels on the ceiling, which had a very remarkable features reminiscent of his Very Strange Boss. He was pretty sure that wasn't originally there. "There's something about a chapel that just brings about certain feelings, doesn't it?"
The other man let out a low hum. Reiji wasn't sure what it was supposed to mean. Silence fell between them.
"Have you ever thought about it?" Reiji asked.
"'Bout what?"
"Marriage." He caught Ranmaru glancing to the side, frowning deeply. "I guess it's still too early for you." Reiji laughed, leaning back against the altar. "Any girl would be lucky enough to marry you, but they have to get past all these spikes first," he teased, reaching out to tussle Ranmaru's unruly hair. It felt softer than it looked, despite the innumerous amounts of hair wax he used to keep it styled.
He almost flinched when Ranmaru grabbed his wrist in a firm hold out of nowhere. It was as if the air around him went still the moment Ranmaru's unusual eyes met his, and Reiji could almost feel the intensity of his gaze burning. "I haven't," Ranmaru admitted at last.
Reiji let out the breath he was holding, though he noticed that Ranmaru still hadn't let go of his hand. "Ah, I-I see," he said. "Well, like I said, it's still too early for-"
"But I have someone in mind."
Tumblr media
The words cut through his own cleanly like a sharp knife. Reiji swallowed as he saw, no, felt his hand taken gently in Ranmaru's own, his breath catching in his throat when Ranmaru brought it up for a gentle kiss. The back of his hand burned hotly where the imprint of Ranmaru's lips had imparted upon it. The words that he never thought Ranmaru would ever say left his lips.
Tumblr media
"Reiji," he said, softer than he had ever heard the man before. "Your smile brings so much warmth into my life. I am yours, so will you be mine?"
It was like a scene out of a classic romance movie, with the setting sun casting a golden glow upon Ranmaru's handsome features, catching gold in his silvery strands. Ranmaru was watching him carefully, waiting for his reply. He wasn't the type to joke around, as Reiji knew, and he had suspected the younger man had a growing crush upon him ever since that night he drunkenly confessed to liking him.
Reiji could admit to sneaking a glance now and again, but he had known Ranmaru as a troublesome kid who knew nothing of the idol world. He hadn't thought about him romantically before. In a way, he suspected he might have, but had been too afraid to pursue those feelings any further.
"I..." He was at a loss for words. His pulse must be skyrocketing right now from how loud his heart was beating in his ears. Every sound was drowned out except for his heartbeat and his short breaths. It was all too much for him; the thought alone that Ranmaru, who had seen him at his lowest, still harboured such feelings for him was staggering. A certain face that flashed into his mind made he pull his hand back. No, he just couldn't. His heart was barely held together with cheap tape made from false cheerfulness and it couldn't take much more.
"I'm sorry."
The last thing he saw was Ranmaru's shock before he booked it, running out the door. He felt like his heart was overflowing with all the overwhelming thoughts, the feelings, the pain from the past. His legs were taking him further and further away on the sand, the wind whipping past his face and into his hair. He didn't know where he was going; anywhere was fine, as long as he could escape from all the mess that was in his head.
A hand grabbed his arm, stopping him in his tracks, and he almost fell backwards. He struggled to get his arm free, prying at the strong grip that refused to let go. His hand was caught by the other and he looked up to see the pained look on Ranmaru's face.
Oh no, he did it again. No matter what he did, someone was going to get hurt.
"Let me go." He was surprised to find his voice as steady as it was, even though his hands were trembling. His eyes found themselves glued to the sandy ground, unable to bring himself to look up at Ranmaru.
"Reiji, please-"
"Let me go!"
The world lurched and he found himself in Ranmaru's embrace. No matter how much more he struggled, Ranmaru's grip on him was tight, as if the man was afraid of letting him go and carry out another disappearing act. Honestly, Reiji would have done that, just to avoid the entire resulting mess that was to come, the awkward silence and distance between the two and the eventuality of them drifting apart.
But the thought of Ranmaru going back to his distant self pained him, as if their time together meant nothing: the many nights shared under the influence of many beers in Ranmaru's dinky little apartment, the tender way that Ranmaru would stroke his hair as he slept, the way one look could tell him what was on Ranmaru's mind, the little things about the man that no one else seemed to pick up...
Reiji realised that he didn't want to lose all that too. The tears were flowing before he knew it, and he found himself crying into the shoulder in front of him, digging his fingers into Ranmaru's clothes, not wanting to let this man go.
"I'm scared, Ran-Ran. I'm scared that I can't give you the happiness you deserve. I'm scared I can't return the same feelings as you do, I'm-"
"I don't need all that. I just want you."
Tumblr media
Ranmaru's hand moved to caress his cheek, his thumb wiping away the tears from his eyes. Reiji didn't know when, but when he opened his eyes, Ranmaru was there, his brows knitted into a frown. He was breathing hard and so was Reiji; Ranmaru must have run out after him right after he bolted.
He didn't deserve the man in front of him who deserved so much better. He deserved someone he could pour all his love into and get back so much more, a less difficult person to love. Someone that wasn't him.
"Reiji, look at me." How could such piercing eyes hold such a warm and soft gaze for him? His touch was so gentle. "I love you just the way you are. You don't need to give me your answer right now. My heart will always belong to you."
He felt his heart clench. Reiji wanted to do it, but he was too scared to take that first step and bungle it all up like he did before with Aine. But, he wanted Ranmaru so badly. Maybe this time, it would end well. He couldn't help the tiny, tiny glimmer of hope flickering within that maybe, he wouldn't screw it up this time. Maybe, he could be happy with Ranmaru.
The wind was loud in his ears, drowning out the sounds of ocean waves crashing against the shore. His breath was caught in his throat at how striking Ranmaru looked at this moment.
Tumblr media
He closed the distance between them first. Reiji kissed him softly, carefully, a little hesitant. It was the barest touch of their lips but it sent his heart racing, and he drew back, wondering if what he did had been a good idea. Ranmaru's lips stole the rest of his thoughts and his breath away as they came for his own, sending his mind into a tizzy. And suddenly, Reiji found himself wanting more. Hands found themselves pulling him in closer, fingers were tangled in the mess that his hair was, anything to keep him within his hold. Ranmaru kissed him once, twice and again, and Reiji could barely catch his breath before being engulfed once more.
And then he was panting hard, his thoughts scattered across the beach like sand. Ranmaru was still holding onto him tightly, so close that he swore could hear the thrumming of his heartbeat. Or was that his own? Reiji didn't know.
"I... still don't know if this is what love is, but I want to give it a try. I want you so much, Ran-Ran." And there it was, the smile that sent his heart fluttering at the beginning.
"I'll wait for you until you're ready," Ranmaru said, touching his forehead to Reiji's. "I'll always be here for you."
Ranmaru's love for him was so warm, it filled up his heart close to exploding. The tears fell before he could blink them back, but this time, he was smiling through them, feeling a weight off his shoulders. "Thank you," he said, "for everything."
“Is the cat in a onesie ?”
“Uh, no ?” Ranmaru and Reiji were a couple. More than that, Ranmaru and Reiji were a happy couple. Well-balanced, unlike their diets, based on who’ll tease the other more, punctuated by a few disagreements which usually were resolved by them beating around the bush until they finally just kind of fell on each other in the couch.
So Ranmaru and Reiji were a couple and, being a happy couple, they decided to have a happy house. They lived in their happy flat (surely because they were unable to find a suitable house) as the happy fathers of their two sons, Camus and Ai. Sometimes, they were visited by their other seven adopted sons, and more and more by their seven soon-to-be-adopted sons.
However, because Ranmaru was a bad father who refused to call Ai, Camus, Cecil, Otoya, Tokiya, Ren, Masato, Natsuki, Syo, Eiichi, Eiji, Kira, Nagi, Yamato, Shion and Van his sons (despite Reiji constantly poking his cheek and yelling at him with his most annoying voice “NEH RANRAN DON’T BE LIKE THAT AND HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR OUR SONS” and now his evening was screwed because it’s been months and he still hears that yell), Reiji decided - of course - to be a sly arsehole and brought home an adoptive daughter in the form of a Calico cat named Tama.
And Ranmaru hated him for that. But also loved him. So he kissed him. Forcefully. Hell, he was one weak idiot.
And so since that day, much to everyone’s relief, Reiji’s parental instincts were all directed towards the cat.
But, as tonight proved them, Reiji was not the father who went gaga over his kid. At least, not when the kid was trapped in a cat’s body. Not, that was Ranmaru.
And so here they were, Reiji in the living room, still completely dressed from his long day at work, looking dumbfounded at their little Tama dressed in a onesie, and Ranmaru staring at them with rosy cheeks from the kitchen.
A moment passed. And a second. And a third. And-
“RanRan. The cat is in a onesie.”
“I don’t know what the hell ya talkin’ about.”
The cat-lover tried to resume his activity - meaning cooking an unbalanced meal for them - while Reiji sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
“RanRan. Tama is wearing a onesie.”
“And how would she have gotten a onesie ?”
Reiji stared at Ranmaru. Ranamru stared at Reiji. Tama meowed.
“You bought the onesie.”
“Me ? Reiji, you’d be the one to buy a onesie.”
“Matching pink onesies for you and I ? In a heartbeat. A onesie for a cat ? Nope, not my cup of tea.”
Another moment passed. They blinked. Ranmaru knew he was obviously guilty, but he was feeling stubborn.
“I didn’t buy the onesie.”
“RanRan.”
“I didn’t.”
Reiji sighed. He was tired, but Ranmaru was having fun.
“Fine, anyway, doesn’t change the fact that Tama is in a onesie.”
“She’s not in a onesie.”
“Oh, for the love of- !”
Reiji rubbed the bridge of his nose again. Tama started to mark him.
“Okay.” he finally said. “Then why is the cat pink RanRan ?”
“She’s a Calico.”
“And ?”
“They come in different shades of colour Reiji.”
“I give up.”
Reiji went towards the couch and fell on it, exhausted. Tama seemed to look questioningly at her fathers. Ranmaru pitied his boyfriend, but kept his stubborness on top, even during dinner.
It was only later that night, when the happy couple finally went to bed, Tama between their legs freed of her onesie, that Reiji chuckled lightly and whispered :
“Why don’t you just admit you’re being an adorable father RanRan ?”
The answer was a mere grunt that only fueled Reiji’s laugh.
“Hey, maybe one day you’ll finally admit you have sixteen other sons !”
“We do not have sixteen sons Reiji.”
“You’re saying that now~ But you already admit you have a daughter~”
The lack of response made Reiji laugh one more time before he turned over with a “Good night” and drifted off to sleep.
Ranmaru turned over and looked a bit more at his boyfriend’s sleeping face. It was cute, he thought. He was already starting to mumble in his pillow.
After a few minutes, the bassist finally decided to stroke Reiji’s cheek with his calloused fingers and he whispered to him :
“One day, Rei, you’ll have a child to call your own.”
He made himself a promise that night. He’ll give to their happy couple a happy house, with happy cats and a happy kid or even two happy kids running around it, with two happy fathers to watch over them.
They’ll be happy.
Melting Like Cocoa
Tumblr media
AHHHHHHHHHHHH I AM SO SORRY THIS IS SO LATE ITS BEEN 5 MONTHS SINCE CHRISTMAS OTL
By the way, Hi I am Indi who wrote this I hope you like it. Sorry, it's so short.
The ficlet is under the cut
Winter time meant a lot of things.
But for you and Reiji, it meant a nice warm cup of hot cocoa as you snuggled on the sofa.
Reiji sipped his chocolatey drink, swallowing the smooth beverage. He hummed, “Ah, Kohai-chan this is so good!” Reiji took another sip.
“I’m glad you think so.” You nestled yourself next to him, laying you head on his chest. You drank you hot cocoa not noticing that Reiji was staring at you.
Until you took what seemed like your 5th sip, you noticed Reiji’s brown eyes, staring at you.
“Hmm?” you peeked at him, “Is there something wrong Reiji?”
The mention of his name broke him out of his unexpected trance, and for one it seemed like there was a pinkish tint on his cheeks.
“Umm,” And what probably seemed like the first time, you saw a crack in his teasing demeanour.
Oh yeah. That definitely is a blush. A smirk flashed on your face, as you are finally going to get him back for all that teasing.
You finished your drink and put your glass down. You looked at your boyfriend as finished his, copying your actions when he noticed you staring at him.
Reiji made a quick glance you, and you could have sworn he was staring at your lips and not your eyes. The smirk plastered on your face caused his own eyes to widen in surprise.
His straightened his back and looked at you. It’s as if your personalities switched, and if magic were real, then maybe you could have thought it was the hot cocoa.
He turned to you and that’s when you went in for the kill.
You gently pushed him to the armrest of the sofa, you face so close to his, breathes mingling and your hands in his hair, his on your waist. His eyes widened, an action that he clearly wouldn’t expect from you.
“Reiji.” You smiled, the same kind of smile he would give you when he teased you, “Are you blushing?”
He froze, “I-umm-I. It’s just very cold in here.”
Got him.
“Uh-huh.” And what probably seemed like the best idea, flashed in your mind. This was going to be fun.
“Would you like me to warm you then? Because it seems like the hot cocoa didn’t do what it was supposed to.”
He stared at you unable to know what to say.
And he… nodded.
Now it was your turn to be speechless. It wasn’t something you were expecting. But before he saw the crack in your smile, you kissed him.
A soft gentle kiss.
“________” Reiji looked at you, and he slowly started to smile.
No, not smile.
Smirk
“Oh, I didn’t know my little Kohai-chan was so bold.” Reiji chuckled.
Wait… was this… all an act?!
Next thing you know, the world did a complete 180, and he was now kissing you, but not like the first kiss. No, this was far deeper.
I can’t believe this guy! But soon afterwards you gave in.
He let go of you and moved again.
But this time it was to give you a hug.
“Merry Christmas, ______-chan.”
munday asks!!! : Accepting!
do you RP anywhere else, other than tumblr?
((I used to rp on discord, namely in mfrp servers, but now I try to stick to private servers with friends. MFRP discord rp's were too hard to keep up with. MFRP - Multifandom roleplay.))
on what platform did you start RPing?
((On the Fanfiction.net forums/forum boards? Before that I was writing fics on there. This was back in 2008/2009. I ended up moving to Tumblr in 2011.))
what made you choose this muse?
((Honestly, I have types, and am a sucker (simp) for clowns (Will - Pokemon who has his own blog, Reiji Kotobuki - UtaPri) and/or intellectually stoic aholes who are softies underneath twinks and girlbosses who are either sapphic or outright lesbian.
Sometimes I like a villain or morally grey character or two. As a treat. Also otome.))
Sample of “Throw away everything I have in me, or every indulgence a story | Leon Kennedy x GN!Reader”
So behold a sample of the meet cute I started writing for Leon Kennedy based on idol dating game song, which to my credit still had some big influence on the fic, that rapidly turned into a... I think postmodernism short story. Anyways, as voted on earlier this week, the final fic will include footnotes for the end of the fic with the journal articles that came to mind as I was writing this. I will be trying to get this out by this Saturday so in the meantime, take this small sample.
Premise: A meeting at a bar between two people, who indulges in their vices, that leads to many unspoken words.
Slight Angst/Postmodernism/Hurt Comfort/Social critique Related to Resident Evil's Themes/Meet Cute/Second Person (You pronoun) Song: Never… by Kotobuki Reiji (CV: Morikubo Showtaro), Translation by Utapri No Sekai
Content warnings: Non sequential storytelling. Underaged drinking (reader in flashback), drink responsibly. Unspecified time skips. Substance abuse including alcohol and cigarettes. Discussions and implications of substance use as a coping mechanism. Slight bad language. Somewhat religious language with indulgences and vice as well as sin. Unhealthy childhood home for reader. Leon and his whole deal, especially post-RE4 stuff. Depression. Isolation. Both reader and various people mentioned in this are struggling as well. EVERYONE GETS DEPRESSION! References to The Carpenters music.
In the cold night, you lean on the side of the building watching as the cigarette burned between the fingers of your friend. Golden embers lit up the alleyway providing color to the monotone backdrop.
There was a story behind your friend’s habit. One that you never asked about. It was theirs and theirs alone, why should you dig into their history?
“You sure you don’t mind?” The words drift in the air as your friend opens their mouth.
“I don’t mind.” You reassure them as they grind the cigarette against the wall, putting out what color it was giving off. “Want to head in now?” A slight quirk of your head towards the entrance of the bar accompanying those words.
A smile graces their gentle features before they walk towards the entrance. An answer wasn’t needed after the day the pair of you had.
By the time you make it into the bar, it’s got a decent crowd each with their own desires.
Off to the corner was a man with dirty blond hair and striking blue eyes, his grip on his glass of liquor tight as if afraid to let it go.
A Surrogate for Love
Pairing: Reiji Kotobuki/Natsuki Shinomiya
Rating: G
Summary: While apart, Reiji and Natsuki try to find a way to express their love for each other.
Notes: Written for the Uta no Prince Sama FlashBang 2018, which was hosted by @utapriflashbang.  This was an interesting and intense experience, since the only times I've ever participated in fic exchanges have been for Secret Santas.
Wonderful fanart provided by @watermelonwabbit!
Click here to read it on AO3.
“Ah, Rei-chan!  Over here!”
As he entered the cafe, Reiji heard his name being called from one side of the room.  He recognized the tall, blond man waving from a booth and bounded over to him.
“Hey, Nattsun-- oh!” Natsuki got up from his seat and embraced Reiji tightly as he came near, leaning to rest his cheek on the top of his head.  Natsuki’s well-known affectionate nature made the hug not unusual here, a cafe where many staff members and idols of Shining Agency frequented due to its proximity, the high quality of its pastries and coffee, and the reasonably low prices.  But only Reiji noticed how the hug lingered just a bit longer than what would be typical for friends.
Natsuki’s cheeks were a faint pink as they sat back down.  “Sorry,” he said sheepishly, adjusting his glasses a bit. “I know we have to be careful, but I couldn’t help myself.”
Reiji laughed, still marveling at how adorable his boyfriend often was.  “It’s alright Nattsun, I missed you too.” He reached over the table and squeezed Natsuki’s hand.  At a place like this, where both the staff and typical clientele were discrete, neither of them felt the need to disguise their appearance.  But, they were mindful of their status as idols and knew better than to risk their careers for public displays of affection.
Still, a little bit couldn’t hurt.
Reiji took Natsuki’s hand and pressed a soft kiss to his knuckles. Natsuki’s face flushed deeper as he smiled, and Reiji laughed again, warm and loving, before letting go.  “Have you ordered anything yet?” He asked.
Natsuki nodded.  “A pot of black tea and some castella cakes.  The waitress suggested it since it’s a new recipe and it’s been popular.”
They continued on in this fashion, discussing some future and current projects with their respective groups, comparing schedules, and chatting about nothing in particular.  The airy, friendly conversation put them at ease, and the stress of whatever may have been on their minds melted away. When the waitress brought them their order, Natsuki poured each of them a cup of tea, followed by a splash of milk and two cubes of sugar in his own cup, and one in Reiji’s.
As he watched Natsuki prepare their tea, Reiji felt a familiar tightening in his chest.  It was the feeling he got whenever he was reminded of how precious Natsuki was to him, that even the smallest gestures, like remembering how he took his tea, made him fall in love with him all over again.
“I’m going to miss this,” Natsuki sighed, eyes pensive, absently stirring his teaspoon around.  “I don’t want you to leave.”
His comment shook Reiji out of his reverie.  “Don’t say it like that Nattsun, I’m only going to be on tour for a few weeks!  I’ll be back home in no time.” Reiji smiled at his boyfriend. He always found Natsuki’s somewhat possessive nature, something he usually kept hidden and when it did manifest it was accompanied by blushing and stuttering, extremely endearing.  The mention of the impending Quartet Night tour reminded Reiji of something.
“I have a surprise for you!”  He rooted around in his bag until he found what he was looking for.  Natsuki observed him curiously, eyes widening when Reiji presented him with the gift.
“Are you… giving me Super Reiji-kun?  Isn’t he the mascot of your family’s shop?”  Natsuki’s voice, though already usually soft, held a reverential tone as he took the plush and held it delicately.
“Well, yes and no,” Reiji explained.  “I’m giving you  a Super Reiji-kun, but it’s not the one from the shop.  I know you like plushies a lot, so I asked my sister if she could make another that I could give to you.”  He grinned and winked. “He can keep you company when I’m not around.”
Natsuki was silent for a minute, his eyes shining with unshed tears. Then, he said, “Rei-chan… thank you!” In a flash Natsuki moved to Reiji’s side of the booth and hugged him.  Reiji wheezed as he was crushed in Natsuki’s arms, his hands coming up to pat Natsuki’s back.
“I’m glad… you like it…” he managed to breathe.  “Nattsun, could you let go just a little? You’re hurting my ribs.”
Natsuki’s hold noticeably loosened but he still kept his arms around Reiji.  He nuzzled his cheek against Reiji’s soft brown hair and kissed his forehead.  “It’s perfect,” he said softly, voice thick with emotion. “I love it, Rei-chan, and I love you.”
“I love you too, Natsuki,” Reiji murmured, leaning forward to kiss the tender spot under Natsuki’s ear.  He chuckled when he heard Natsuki squeak, before they moved apart to avoid any more suspicion.
Natsuki held the plush close to him even after he returned to his spot.  He admired the carefully sewn clothes and the ability of the plush to sit upright when set on the table.  Reiji observed Natsuki with a wide smile. He really was just too cute.
They finished the rest of their tea and pastries in a companionable, peaceful silence.  When they left the cafe, Natsuki kept the plush close to his chest as they walked back to the agency.
Reiji collapsed, groaning, on the hotel bed when he entered the room.  The mattress sunk under his weight as his muscles cried out their aches.  After the adrenaline of performing wore off, Reiji truly felt his age, and the only things he wanted to do were to shower and sleep.
Well, he had one more thing to do besides that.  He got up, ignoring the protests of his body, and forced himself to take a quick shower. Once finished, wrapped in the fluffy robe the hotel provided, Reiji grabbed his phone from the nightstand and dialed a number to make a video call.  The dark screened flashed into life as he settled back into bed, and Natsuki’s eager expression was on his screen.
“Hi, Rei-chan!” He said, waving.  Natsuki’s voice came in slightly static, and Reiji turned up the volume on his phone so he could hear him.  “How was your concert?”
“It went well!  The crowd got really fired up and had a good time. We got back to the hotel about an hour ago.” Seeing his boyfriend again for the first time in a few days made Reiji’s chest tighten.  Their careers didn’t allow them much time together, so moments like this were precious. “How was your day?”
“Good!  Practice went well, even though Syo-chan and Otoya-kun almost sprained their ankles trying to see who could pirouette the fastest, and Tokiya-kun got mad at them.  We also started going over the plans for our new single, which was fun, too!”
Reiji hummed his acknowledgement, imagining what must have gone on at rehearsal amongst his juniors.  “That’s Tokki for you, but I’m sure he was just worried.”
Natsuki nodded in agreement.  His eyes lit up as he seemed to remember something.  He reached behind him on his bed and, amid the nest of Piyo-chan plushies, he grabbed Super Reiji-kun.  He waved the plush’s arm to Reiji.
“Reiji-kun says hi, too!  He’s been great company lately.”  Natsuki kissed the plush’s cheek and giggled.  “It’s almost like you’re still here.”
“Hey now, don’t forget about me!”  Reiji laughed. “You’re making me a bit jealous, Nattsun.  I wish you were here to give me some love, too.”
Natsuki blushed.  “Sorry, Rei-chan,” he said.  His smile fluttered into something tinged with sadness.  “I really do miss you, though. Reiji-kun’s nice but he could never replace you.”
“I know, but I’ll be home soon enough, you’ll see.  In the meantime, let me send you my love!” Reiji blew a kiss to the phone, and on the screen Natsuki pretended to grab it from the air and press his hand to his cheek.  They both laughed and continued to talk until neither could stop their eyes from drooping. Natsuki looked at Reiji with a warm, drowsy smile spreading across his face.
“I love you, Rei-chan, I can’t wait for you to come home,” he whispered.
“Me too, Nattsun, I love you so much.”  Reiji blew one last kiss to Natsuki. “Good night.”
“Good night,” Natsuki yawned.  “Take care tomorrow.”
“You too.”  Reiji hung up and put his phone on its charger.  Shutting off the lamp on the nightstand, he curled up under the covers and closed his eyes, drifting off to sleep with the thought of seeing Natsuki again on his mind.
“Rei-chan!”
Reiji hardly had time to set his bags down when he entered his apartment before he was practically tackled by Natsuki.  Luckily, Natsuki seemed to be aware of his own strength this time, as the hug was tight but not bone-crushing. Reiji returned it with equal fervor, and they pulled away slightly to meet in a tender kiss.
“I’m so, so,  so  glad you’re home,” Natsuki said as they parted.  “It feels like forever since I last saw you.” He led Reiji to the couch so they could be more comfortable as they caught up.
“Me too, I’m happy to be back.”  Reiji reached up to ruffle Natsuki’s fluffy hair and laughed.  “Tours are fun and all, but it’s nice to be back home with you.”
Natsuki nodded in agreement.  He seemed to ready to add something to Reiji’s comment before his eyes lit up and his mouth formed a perfect little ‘o’.  “Ah, hold on! I got you something to welcome you home!” He disappeared into their bedroom and returned with a small bag.  Reiji noticed how his eyes sparkled when he sat back down and handed him the bag. Reiji couldn’t contain the gasp that escaped his lips when he held up the present.
It was a plush, and looked very similar to Super Reiji-kun, but instead of being him it was of Natsuki.  The expression was the same, but the felt for the eyes was the same shade of chartreuse as Natsuki’s, and a little pair of wire glasses was sewn in-between its eyes.  The doll wore a sweater and a pair of pants that looked like miniature versions of some of Natsuki’s clothes, and the hair was a simplified version of the way Natsuki styled his own hair.  Reiji gaped as he held the toy loosely in his hands, unable to process the gesture.
The silence unsettled Natsuki.  His joyful smile dropped in confusion and concern as he said, “Do you not like it, Rei-chan?  I wanted to give you something like Super Reiji-kun so you wouldn’t be lonely when either of us were away, and-- oh!”
Reiji threw himself into Natsuki’s lap, laughing as tears sprung in the corners of his eyes.  “It’s wonderful! I love him!” He snuggled into the embrace, the plush getting squeezed between them.  He looked up at Natsuki, his brown eyes sparkling with joy. “How’d you even get this, anyway?”
Natsuki rubbed at the back of his head, a faint blush painting his cheeks.  “I got the idea after we talked that night, when you said you were jealous that I gave Reiji-kun a kiss.  I know you were joking, but I went to Masato-kun the next day and asked him if he could help me sew a plush to give to you, and he did.”  His blushed deepened. “Though I think he did most of the work, I just offered some suggestions on the design.”
Reiji sat back, still cuddled against Natsuki’s side, and looked at the plush.  The seams were almost invisible to the naked eye, indicating a very skilled hand behind the needlework.
“Then we’ll have to find a way to thank Hijirin for his hard work, too.”  Reiji leaned up to kiss Natsuki’s jawline. “But I really do love this, thank you so much.”
Natsuki wrapped his arms around Reiji’s waist and buried his face in his hair, pressing gentle kisses.  “I’m just glad to have you back home. I love you a lot, Rei-chan.”
The genuine tenderness in Natsuki’s voice was almost too much for Reiji.  To be loved so frankly, without any expectations except to be loved in return, made him want to cry again, but he swallowed the feeling back.  “I love you too, Nattsun.”
They remained in each other’s arms for the rest of evening, basking in their comforting presence, knowing just how much they were loved.
teaser?? maybe
im writing an obscure au because i like writing talking animals. wondering if people will like it? i'm really unsure if i should post it or not plus its still in the works Kurosaki Ranmaru-and-Granata meet up with their bandmates (if they could be called that, Granata grins, flicking her tongue over her teeth, do they even play instruments?) for the first time in Shining Saotome's office. Shining's plain peahen watches them from her perch, preening her feathers disintrestedly while Ranmaru-and-Granata pace the room until Kotobuki Reiji-and-Verde bursts in, loud and bright and annoying. "Hello, hello!" Reiji says. His daemon curls around his shoulders, fat and happy. A twige of interest (shared?) as Granata lowers herself on her haunches. "No pouncing," Ranmaru drawls lazily. Granata huffs, tail flicking in annoyance. But prey? Granata seems to be projecting with her body language. Ranmaru shoots her a narrowed glare. He would never hear the end of it if she goes around hunting every daemon that could be labelled prey for a fucking lion. "Kurosaki Ranmaru," he says instead, offering up his hand. "Kotobuki Reiji," Reiji says, taking his hand and pumping it enthusiastically. "What's your name, girl?" Granata blinks slow up at him. Annoyance (definitely shared, girl, what the fuck) in her posture, in the slow curl of her lip over her teeth. "Call me that again and I'll rip your eyeballs out of your sockets," she says. In lieu of an answer. Ranmaru bites back his snort when Reiji blinks in confusion. "Sorry about him," his daemon says. She scampers down from his shoulder to his arms. "I'm Verde. What's your name?" Another long blink. A flick of her tail, brushing up against Ranmaru's jeans. "...Granata," she finally says, then turns away from them all, bored of the situation. "She's pretty," Reiji says, then "Ow!" when Verde bites him. Granata growls, low in warning. "Sorry. I'm just excited! An idol band, huh?" Ranmaru ignores him. He goes to sit on the couch, where Granata is sprawled. They exchange looks, watching Reiji-and-Verde move around the room, cooing over Shining's peahen. She fluffs her feathers up and croons from the attention, a hundred percent Shining Saotome's soul piece. "—the idea of it," Shining Saotome's voice, booming, outside the door. "Hopefully that's everyone!" The door swings open. Shining Saotome, speaking loudly, arms waving. Some white guy, his daemon coiled around his shoulders like a glittering blue scarf. A kid with cotton candy blue hair, his daemon fluttering in after him. Both of them stone-faced, unsmiling. Ranmaru-and-Granata look at each other. Then they look at Reiji-and-Verde, who are both looking at the kid in poorly disguised horrified confusion, pale as bone. Maybe... huh. Whatever. Ranmaru doesn't really care.
