Just two so far. Agents of SHIELD and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. If I can ever get it together I'll add more.

What Happens on Kitson... (1112 Words) Agents of SHIELD - What happens when Daniel stumbles on the security footage from a casino on Kitson.

My first published fic. *wipes a tear* I am 99% sure @hecckyeah had a hand in enabling me to write this so thanks for that buddy. :)

The Family We Fought For (12,955 Words) Agents of SHIELD - She would run into walls if that’s what it took. This time, however, he might not be able to pick her back up. He was used the worry, the fear, to people he cared about throwing themselves into danger. He was used to the feeling of standing at the edge of an abyss and trying not to fall in. They were her family? How could they let her do this? A collection of reunions post-finale.

I caught the crazy and did a multi-chapter fic. I think for the foreseeable future I will be sticking to one-shots. lol

Space Puffies Strike Back (2017 Words) Agents of SHIELD - A mission goes awry when an old nemesis reappears... A sequel to "What Happens on Kitson..." Daniel Sousa has an experience with our beloved space puffies. The timing is not convenient.

Backup (1174 Words) Agents of SHIELD/The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - Sam didn’t know how they were getting overrun. It was either bad intel or betrayal. He hoped for the former but it was usually the latter. He folded his wings and dropped in behind Bucky who promptly shouted, “Where the hell have you been?” “Oh you know, I thought I’d take the scenic route!” Sam fired back, then shouted into his comms, “Hey! Any way we could get some backup here?” “Lucky for you, we’re already here. On your right.”

The Mascot (1895 Words) Agents of SHIELD - My girlfriend wanted a cat. I said no. So we compromised and got a cat. -Internet Proverb Daisy and Kora adopt a cat on the Zephyr. Daniel is reluctant.

5. Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

Absolutely. Usually on a Saturday night after a few drinks. And I do it in batches.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I don't think any of my fics have an angsty ending. There's been attempts at angsty middles. But I'm really just here to make sure everyone has a good time.

7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

Backup. I'm not sure if it counts since it's all Marvel/MCU but I'm counting it since Disney Marvel seems to forget the Agents of SHIELD exists. That fic is pure chaos and might be one of my favorite things I've written.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Nope. Not that I know of anyway.

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

I'd like to. But I am horribly intimidated by it. I've done "fade to black" and a rather heated sparring scene. Might dip my toe in one of these days because I have an Idea that will not leave me alone.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Nope.

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Nope. Not that I know of.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Sorta. Backup was inspired by a text exchange between me and @butjustourselves. I just ended up running with it.

13. What is your all time favourite ship?

I have so many on rotation it's a little insane. I'll do a top 5

My Agents of SHIELD Fantasy AU. Had a lot of trouble coming up with a coherent plot. Decided "why not just do serial one-shots that are loosely connected?" and that has improved things greatly. So, one of these days, that might happen.

15. What are your writing strengths?

Snappy dialogue. And making people laugh.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I have the opposite problem as @redvanillabee lol. I can't really be serious for one goddamn minute. Profound emotions? Nope. Not here. And describing surroundings. I forget to do it or I'm just like "they're in this room. Y'all have seen the show so you know what I'm talking about."

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Uh. Fine I guess? Just don't use Google translate. You'll get obliterated for that.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Published? Agents of SHIELD. Unpublished? As a preteen I wrote a screenplay called "The Fridge Raider" which was basically an Artemis Fowl/Tomb Raider mashup and I don't think I'll ever be that brave ever again.

19. What’s your favourite fic you’ve ever written?

It depends on the day. But Backup and What Happens on Kitson... are winning today.

To me, Backup really feels like a Marvel One-Shot or something pulled right from one of the shows and I am VERY proud of that.

As for What Happens on Kitson... I mean you always remember your first. ;)

Fandoms I write (or have written) for: From most recent to least, Babylon 5, City Homicide, The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Call the Midwife, The Librarians, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Leverage, Scott & Bailey, Sanctuary, The West Wing, Stargate SG-1, Bones, Star Wars, Homicide: Life on the Street, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek: Voyager.

Most popular one-shot: By so, so much, When the Long Trick’s Over (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries). I love this story. I am always shocked and awed and blown away by how much everyone else loves this story.

Most popular multi-chapter: I have exactly one multi-chapter story, so by default it must be life, and breath, and all things (Call the Midwife), but I’m okay with that, because that story is just so lovely.

Actual worst part of writing: Mostly finding time and mental space to write. Like, I have story ideas and no time to write, or time to write and no story ideas. The happy intersection of the two is rare alchemy. But I actually really love writing, even when it’s hard or not coming together. There’s no worst part, not even when my beta says something I love is crap and I have to do it again. Because that makes it better.

How you choose your titles: Mostly song lyrics and poetry. I never tell anyone what they’re from, though, so one of my best moments was when someone found and read the poem that titles ebb on with them who homeward go (Blake) and said OMG THAT’S PERFECT, and like, yes, it absolutely is and everyone should read it.

Do you outline: I...sometimes. If something is writing long, or if I’m not going to have time to write as often as I would like, I will write down bullets for what happens next. But not always. Not even often. But sometimes.

Ideas I probably won't get around to but would be nice: Oh, the two stories I would kill to write but probably never will are the Blake AU where Mei Lin comes home with Lucien from China at the end of S1, and a Babylon 5 AU where Susan sticks around for season 5. Mostly because I don’t really write long AUs. I mean, at the very least, I would have to outline.

Best writing habits: Mine is using a beta reader. And like, this isn’t for everyone, and I know many authors who do perfectly well without one. But I adore having someone help me refine my thoughts and my words. My most recent story, but tell it slant (B5), really benefited from some small targeted revision. Writing with a beta takes me from good to really, really good, which I care about because I really want to do the best I possibly can for my characters.

Spicy opinions: Following on... I...kinda don’t get it when people say they don’t care if their stuff is good. Like, I sort of get it. It’s fandom. This is fun, and I want it always to be fun. This is our place, and I will defend to the absolute death everyone’s ability to write whatever they want and then some. I adore people who write only for themselves, kudos and comments and feedback be damned--what absolute, perfect confidence and love of a thing is that. I would never, ever want to discourage anyone from writing and publishing and being in this space in whatever way made sense for them.

But the folks who say they don’t care if they’re getting better, or if what they’re writing is decent. I just...huh. Do not grok. I’m not saying, like, we all have to be great at this. We don’t. God, I hope we don’t. I was once a teenager on the internet, back when the internet was young and (much differently) feral. I sucked. But I looked around at stories that blew me out of the water and said, how do I do that?? and have been genuinely trying my damnedest ever since.

So yeah. Less spicy, more genuine bafflement, I guess. You can get better and still have fun? Or something like that. I sound like your mother, but you know. Please stay and play on my lawn?

Fandom(s): Mostly I’m hayffie exclusive those days. I’m hoping to go back to Lucifer. I kinda want to have a rewatch and hopefully find my love back for this show that S3 has detroyed... I loved writing fics for this pairing. I’m also anxiously waiting for the 6oC adaptation because I’ve hold off writing kanej fanfics for now but... I love them so much I’m not sure I will be able to resist the show. I am also currently obsessed with Phryne/Jack from Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries but not writing just stalking ao3.

Where You Post: Ellana-san in on fanfiction.net, EllanaSan on AO3 and ellanainthetardis on tumblr. I don’t post anywhere else and if you see my fic elsewhere it’s like been stolen. yes it has happened before. No it’s not fun.

Most Popular One-Shot: On ff, it’s a HP called The Shadow Of Death. It’s a time travel Severus & Harry mentor story I actually was quite proud of at the time. On AO3 it’s a Lucifer story called Redeeming The Devil in which Charlotte/Mom goes after Chloe and Lucifer has to step in so basically devil reveal and all of that. I think it’s one of my fav I wrote for this fandom.

Most Popular Multi-Chapter Story: On ff, according to the stats, it’s Have a Drink Sweetheart but since it’s a collection of one shots I think that doesn’t really count so the next one is “Les Cicatrices du Temps” which is probably the one I’m most known for on the French side of things. It’s a HP story, again with time travel and again with Severus & Harry mentor, and it’s actually part of a trilogy. I haven’t finished part 3 yet but I don’t despair haha.

On AO3 it’s Invictus which is a hayffie story that explore a canon au in which Haymitch’s family never died, forcing him to become the puppet rather than the example. I’m not sure it’s the longest thing I’ve ever written because of the trilogy I just mentioned but it’s the longest in one setting and I’m proud of having finished it. It took a lot of work, an amazing beta, and it was a huge part of my life at one point because it covered I think... close to two years?

Favorite Story You Wrote: It’s difficult to choose because it depends of fandoms. For HP, I would say the Cicatrices trilogy for sure. For Hayffie... It’s so haaard to choose. I think it would be a tie between Invictus, Into That Good Night and April Showers for very different reasons. Invictus because of the commitment it took and also because, as I said, I associated to a specific time in my life. April Showers because I really enjoyed being able to explore post MJ in a more psychological way and it allowed me to explore more characters. I may or may not have fallen a bit truly in love with everlark while writing that one actually. And Into that Good Night because it was so out there, so full of self-indulging angst - like Haymitch being forced to kneel and beg - that I don’t think I would have ever written it if I hadn’t been in an angsty place myself and needed an out. But I’m happy with out it turned out and I don’t know... That one I do have a lot of tender feelings for, I guess.

How You Choose Your Titles: There’s no methods for me. Either I will take it directly from the work or I will try to find something like a theme in the work or I will look up quotes or I will look up songs... I don’t have a specific go-to method.

Complete: stories? I’m not sure how to see that. Everything is on ff and they say I’ve published 188 stories... I know I have two WIPs in SG and HP, 1 probably abandoned in hayffie, 2 currently being posted, HADS though that doesn’t really count does it? One Buffy I never closed but it’s also a os collection... Honestly I have no clue I would say 183? In those waters. I thought it was more haha. Though, I guess if you take HADS alone... XD HADS frightenes me okay? I try not to look at the number of chapters.

Incomplete: Well... There is part 3 of that HP trilogy I have been neglecting for a while. One chaptered story in Stargate I gave up on. The Speed Finding Soulmate story in hayffie I gave up on too although I think about that one often and never say never I might revisit it one day. And obviously the two currently being posted When It Rains It Pours and Katniss The Vampire Slayer.

I always try to have the finished product before posting because I hate WIPs. In the case of the Speed Finding Soulmate story for instance it was supposed to be a one shot and then I added more and more but if I had thought it through, I would have writtten the whole thing first. I have unfortunately a respectable WIP folder XD

If I can’t have the whole thing finished, like KTVS for instance, I try to be comfortably ahead so I never run out of chapters and I can keep a steady schedule.

Basically if I can’t keep to a posting schedule it stresses me out. If I don’t have the next chapter ready, it stresses me out because I don’t want to let anyone down. So... Yeah. I like having everything done before posting.

Which doesn’t answer the question I realize... So incomplete work, not counting os collections, I think might have 5 (2 of which are actually being posted but finished or ahead enough).

Do You Outline?: Never if I can help it. If I write down or break down a story, I will lose the will because it’s all there black on white. If the story is big or complicated I will take notes on a notebook and, maybe, maybe a loose list of events but mostly my way of writing is forge ahead and figure it out as you go. Mostly, the stories write themselves I just type. Everything ends up making sense by itself.

Coming Soon/Not Yet Started: Well, I did finish E10 of KTVS so you know that’s good haha. I plan on writing E11 soonish. Right now I’m kind of in a writing slump of sorts. I should be finished the mind wipe story but I’m a bit tempted by a modern au involving a certain tattoo artist and this former army man... There’s a lot I want to write tbh.

Do You Accept Prompts?: Yes but you have to not be afraid of waiting a long LONG times. I sometimes publish prompts that have been submitted years ago. XD I have a lot of prompts and I tend to write the one that inspire me most but I do try to post the chronologically older ones first.

Upcoming Story You Are Most Excited To Write: Well.. there is this idea of a tattoo artist Effie. It would be cute mostly I don’t think lots of conflict. Also the mind wipe story which I was working on before the crack happened, which is basically an au in which they experimented on Effie during MJ and wiped her mind clean so she doesn’t remember anything at all. And there are a few others wips in my folder that might be cool to revisit so idk. I’m telling you right now I haven’t written in 3 days I’m angsty to start again but I’m not sure what to tackle. I want a a tiny break with KTVS before attacking E11... OH and there’s also a modern au inspired by a prompt about effie ptsd in a modern setting that I thikn would also take chapters but basically I was thinking bodyguard au and YEAH. Lots of angst.

SGE Fic Recs!

1. BURN by pumpkinpaperweight. Tagatha arranged marriage/fire an ice AU!! I love the dynamics and the suspense!

2. Gin Mills And The Goods by pumpkinpaperweight. Also tagatha, but a gangster AU this time!! The dialogue is great and the action and plot is very accurate to the actual time period.

3. Angelica And Forget-Me-Nots by anomalousGreenhorn. Horavan, nicphie, and hestadil are the main ships. The characters and plot are awesome!!

4. Sinner’s Gold by MickMackNickNack. Horavan, nicphie, and tagatha, but the story is mostly a murder mystery. I love the intrigue and suspense!!

All of these but GMTG are works in progress and they are all awesome!! But a word of advice; both GMTG and SG are very violent and can be a bit alarming.
