munashiro. Reisi kissing Adolf under the rain without an umbrella after a silly argument, proceeding to giggle it out.
….Does Munakata really giggle ever XD Maybe Shiro manages to bring it out in him. Like they’ve had a small argument and Shiro impulsively stormed out without his umbrella. He finds himself standing there in the rain, a little deflated as he’s like well this wasn’t my best idea today. He knows the argument wasn’t anything big and he can’t help but feel a little silly now, that he stormed out so dramatically in the rain. He’s about to turn around and go back to find Munakata when he’s suddenly swept up in Munakata’s embrace, Munakata giving him this soft kiss. Shiro’s eyes widen and then he laughs, wondering if this is Munakata’s way of saying Shiro was right. Munakata’s eyes sparkle as he says perhaps more of an apology for going overboard and Shiro says he’ll take that. He notices that Munakata didn’t bring an umbrella either, like you’re supposed to be the one of us who’s responsible and plans everything. Munakata for once looks a little sheepish as he says it seems he forgot and his expression is enough to make Shiro laugh again. Munakata wonders if it’s so amusing, but seeing Shiro he finds himself laughing as well and now they’re both standing there in the rain holding hands and laughing quietly together (and then Munakata finally remembers to put up a Blue shield to cover them and Shiro jokes that maybe he could have done that sooner, now that they’re both soaked).

Choice and Fate

("It may come to be that you'll share my destiny and have to die with me." "Then so be it.") -December, 2013
Two Kings, two knights, and their shared destiny.
Pairing : Fushimi and Munakata, Habari and Zenjou. No romance but a very deep bond
Tags : Metafiction, Angst with Happy Ending, Zenjou Gouki P.O.V
Notes : I was re-watching Side Blue Seven Stories, and boy do I fangirling hard when Zenjou talked about "shared destiny" (It's the same word, unmei!). Especially since Munakata and Fushimi's secret plan is my favorite thing on K : ROK. Then when I read about previous Blue clan's tale, it occurred to me that Habari/Zenjou/Shiotsu really has some similar dynamic with Munakata/Fushimi/Awashima. Responsible and doting beautiful King, serious and disciplined Lieutenant and second in command, and the wild card "can't wear their uniform properly" private force of the King. Their situation is also somewhat familiar, but of course in Munakata/Fushimi/Awashima's case, they ended with happy ending *pats Zenjou and Shiotsu*

Throughout the surprisingly long life of a Zenjou Gouki, he has encountered many crazy situations. Hell, he managed to see the Kagutsu Crater incident right in front of him and stayed alive. But what happened last night can be included in one crazy thing that happened in front of his eyes after a long time.
It started with him following his current superior (not King, Munakata Reisi is never his King) to a small plain room. It was furnished exceedingly modestly, having only a desk and a bed. Zenjou thought that this boring place must be the perfect place to discuss something like a secret plan. Munakata seemed to notice his thought, informed him with a light tone.
"This is my private room. Not many people know about this room, so it will be convenient for our secret meeting.[1]"
"So you really have a place to rest. I've heard rumors about you are some kind of creature who doesn't need sleep." surprised Zenjou. Zenjou has heard many rumors regarding what a bizarre creature the current Blue King. From he has an infinite set of glasses to he lives inside network and doesn't need rest, because no single person ever see him in any condition except straight and sturdy. Although, he also never saw Habari slept either.
He wondered if that was Blue Kings' stubborn trait, to never let people see their crumbled form even on the brink of their death. Yes, he already knew the state of Munakata's Damocles Sword, but the current Blue King's eyes never waver in fear of his own fate.
Just like Habari on that damned day...
A disapproving tongue click voiced his thought, also turned his attention toward its source. Entered a lanky boy with a scowly face that maybe can rival Shiotsu. Of course, he knew immediately the identity of the boy. Fushimi Saruhiko, the number 3 of current Scepter 4. The wild card of the King, Munakata's favorite [2], who has given authority to act freely as his liking [3], much to the discipline Lieutenant Awashima's frustration.
("Zenjou, don't just face the enemy head out! I ordered you to wait, didn't I?!"
"So what? Habari said it's okay, didn't he? You're too stuck up, Shiotsu..."
"Sigh... Habari, you're too sweet with Zenjou.."
"It's fine, isn't it? This guy does a better job when he runs freely.") [4]
"As weird as he looks like, Captain is a human too. Obviously, he does things like resting and sleeping like the rest of us. He just works all the time like a moron and spouting nonsense like King doesn't get tired or something like that." Fushimi's sarcastic quip brought him back to the present. Zenjou has to tell Shiotsu that as delinquent as his past self, this boy is way way worse than him.
At least he never called Habari a moron.
Captain didn't look offended at the insult, though. He greeted the boy with his usual amused tone.
"Ah, Fushimi-kun, you finally came. Have you finished your work?"
The boy shrugged and sat on the only chair in the room, facing Munakata who was seated on his bed. Zenjou himself was content to stand leaning on the wall, away from any of them as possible.
"Tsk, after the alliance agreed on Silver King's plan, I have so many things that have to be prepared. You are the one who asked me to come to your room after today's work is over without getting noticed by other people. Do you realize how wrong it sounds?"
Munakata only smiled at Fushimi's insolent words.
"I'm sorry, but there's something important that I have to discuss with you in secret. It's related to Silver King's plan that we've heard this noon. After listening to that, I am planning to make a backup plan in case his plan is failed."
Backup plan...quite a natural move for the current Scepter 4's Captain. For a Blue King, he had a quite pessimistic mindset. Once again, Zenjou ascertained that Munakata is not the same as his bright and optimistic Habari.
But, a doubtful thought entered his mind. Was Habari indeed always optimistic?  Suddenly he recalled his conversation with Habari about birds dropping, and Zenjou mulled, maybe Habari knew about his upcoming tragic fate earlier than he thought. [5]
Fushimi looked at Munakata with a curious gaze, devoid of worry or mistrust upon Captain's words.
"You think his plan will be failed?"
"I can't say that his plan will surely fail, but for a King who runs in shadow all this time, it's weird for Green King to make such an open attack. I have a feeling that Green King has something on his sleeve and it potentially can mess up Silver King's plan."
"Why didn't you say something at the alliance meeting earlier?" asked Fushimi, fully aware that the usual Munakata Reisi should not hesitate to say anything on his mind at the earlier alliance meeting. Munakata pushed his glasses in a somewhat weirdly embarrassed gesture.
"Because I'm still not sure what is Green King's hidden trick so so that my suspicions can seem like paranoia for no reason. I also don't want to discourage other Kings before the battle. Anna-kun is still a child and Isana-shi seems to...have quite a weak mental strength. Besides, the fewer people who know about my backup plan, the better."
Fushimi scanned around the room, seemed to have just realized the absence of Lieutenant Awashima and other Scepter 4 members.
"Lieutenant and the rest of Scepter 4 members are not included in your plan?"
"Yes, I just need you, Fushimi-kun, and you, Zenjou-san. I don't plan to include other clans either but I can't control their action. Is there any more question?"
Looks like finally the curious youth ran out of his questions. Zenjou himself refused to say anything unless he was asked directly.
"Alright then, will the two of you hear what I have to say?"
Zenjou felt a sudden deja vu. Three of them, a king and two wild cards, this situation mirrored their meeting before Kusuhara's avenge mission.[6]
"Fine, let's hear about your plan."
"If our defense on Mihashira tower is defeated and the Slate gets stolen by Green clan, I need you to enter Green clan, Fushimi-kun."
Zenjou froze upon hearing the sentence. He threw his full attention toward Munakata, to see what kind of face he made after uttered such a crazy task. But Munakata didn't seem going to take his words. The current Blue King switched his gaze at the boy Fushimi, who had an unnaturally speechless look on his young face.
"Infiltrate Green Clan, get as close as possible to their secret quarters and the Slate, then give us chance to attack them."
Fushimi's shocked face lasted for a few minutes. Then he finally found his voice to spoke up.
"Let me get this straight. You want me to be Green King's clansman. That means betray Scepter 4. Betray  you ."
Munakata maintained his unshakable serenity.
"Yes, we will have a fake quarrel in front of everyone and you are supposed to leave me in anger."
The youth gradually lost his shocked face. In exchange, his mouth morphed into a twisted grin, and he let out a quite long crazed laugh. Captain just stared at him in silence with no intention to stop his subordinate's bizarre action. In the end, the boy regained his composure and threw Munakata a bitter smile.
"I see, it's such a fitting job for a traitor like me."
Munakata lowered his gaze, but his voice remained steady.
"Indeed you are the only one who can do this task, not only because you have switched clan before, but also I have complete faith in your ability to fulfill this mission."
"Faith, huh..."
Hearing his favorite subordinate's mocking tone, the Scepter 4 captain stood up and walked to the table near the boy. He gently put his hand on the table and spoke softly.
"But I understand that it's not an easy task to accept so you have all night to consider this. In the morning, please give-"
"I'll do it."
"Fushimi-kun?" Munakata's composure shook a little, jolted at Fushimi's resolute words. The person in question stared his Captain head-on with a determined expression.
"I accept this mission. Truly annoying, but I understand the importance of the backup plan, and your plan seems logical enough."
"Fushimi-kun, I advise you to think about this matter carefully. This is a mission with no guarantee that you would return alive. You can refuse it."
"Tsk, don't you say that you have faith in my ability?"
"I have absolute confidence that you can perform this task successfully. But after Green clan is aware of your espionage, you will be trapped in the middle of enemy's territory alone, especially since this mission is kept as a secret from everyone except me, you and Zenjou-san."
Fushimi took his eyes off Munakata and looked at Zenjou, as if just noticing the veteran's presence in the room. He looked at the scarred man slightly annoyed, probably because he didn't like other people to see his last (maybe) mental breakdown.
I don't want to see it either, kid. I don't even know why I am here.
"I understand to keep it from Lieutenant and others to make my betrayal will look real, but why does Zenjou-san is included in this plan?" protested Fushimi, not caring a little bit about Zenjou's demonic popularity. Then again, that kid once (maybe) deliberately passed him and taunted him with his own Captain's condition [7].
Truly no wonder that he's Munakata's favorite.
"After you give a chance to attack, I plan to confront Green clan and Zenjou-san, I need you to be my only companion."
If before Zenjou froze, now he felt like he was being doused by cold water. No one in the room didn't understand the hidden meaning of the Blue King's sentence. Munakata walked toward Zenjou and stared at him sternly, signified how serious the situation that Zenjou was getting into.
"I do not plan to include other Scepter 4 members since Awashima-kun and the rest should handle clan's matters in my absence. Zenjou-san, I will rely on your ability to give me the best possible protection while facing Green clan."
So he refused to say outright about the elephant in the room, huh. How hilarious. Voicing his thought, the youth snorted sarcastically.
"Pft, best possible protection, isn't he your executioner? Or what do you call him? Your Sword of Damocles, part of your destiny."
Wow, ain't that familiar words. So the boy overheard his conversation with the current Blue King on Kusuhara's avenge mission. Munakata didn't mind his subordinate's provocative words at all and firmly addressed the elder man.
"Zenjou-san, are you willing to accompany me and obliterate any threat that can harm humanity?"
Zenjou-san was well aware that the said humanity's threats meant by Munakata are not only about Green Clan and their grand plan. Munakata planned to push his Weismann's level past its limit to face Green clan, and when his Damocles Sword is at the risk of getting down, his life will be the obstacle that must be removed to prevent massive destruction.
(”Zenjou, you will always do the right thing. You will cut what needs to be cut.”)
"I will cut anything that needs to be cut."
"That's good then" nodded Munakata, who seemed satisfied at the confirmation of his own execution.
Silence engulfed the small room. Neither of them intended to open break the ice, probably busy with thoughts of each great burden on their shoulders. After a few minutes, the boy spoke up with an amused yet depressed tone.
"Lieutenant will not be happy about this."
"I bet she won't," chuckled Munakata softly.
"If somehow we can survive in the end, she will choke us with massive ankos."
The boy suppressed his giggle. He was aware of his impending fate, the high possibility of his death with his King...
And he laughed.
On  that day , didn't he also laughed at the possibility of his death alongside Habari? Wait, no, he laughed about how angry Shiotsu to be left alone and has to handle all the mess after their death. And in the end, Shiotsu still had to take care of all Scepter 4 matters because Zenjou after he cut his own king is truly dead in everything but breaths.
Glad that Shiotsu isn't obsessed with anko. Not that he dislikes anko, though.
Captain's chuckle disappeared, seemed that he didn't enjoy Fushimi's newest humor.
"Fushimi-kun, are you sure-"
Fushimi stood up to silence Munakata's mouth, fixed his eyes to his Captain steadily.
"Shut up, I said that I will do it, didn't I. Just like you said, I am the only one who can do it. Instead of nagging me, you should think about yourself."
Fushimi turned around, refusing to face his Captain. The boy muttered petulantly.
"....I am not the one who will walk toward a practically suicide plan."
Munakata sat back on his bed, staring at the room ceiling.
"Your mission has a very high risk, it can be considered a suicide plan, though. It may come to be that you'll share my destiny and have to die with me."
"Then so be it."
Seeing the despairing scene unfolding before his eyes, Zenjou looked away, hard. He didn't like it. The scene he saw right now, is too similar like on that day.
("I made it in time to be with you at your final moment, and share your destiny. I am satisfied with that.")
"Well, there's nothing left to discuss, right? Then I'll go, there are so many things that need to be prepared for tomorrow's plan, also for this new backup plan."The boy hurriedly walked toward the door, still refuse to turn back and saw his Captain.
"Fushimi-kun?"
"Yes?"
The current Blue King took his eyes off the ceiling, focused his attention at his subordinate's back.
"If there's a time when you can choose your fate, please choose the best option for your safety."
The boy was silent for a few moments. Then, still with his back to his Captain, he grabbed the doorknob
"I'll keep that in mind."
The door was opened, and Fushimi was ready to walk out of that room. But, he turned back facing Munakata and stated with a soft yet clear voice.
"When the time comes, I have a feeling that my body will do what I think it's right to do, reason doesn't matter. Just like that night when I stepped to your side. So, I can't promise you anything that I myself can't understand."
"I see... Then, whatever your choice later, do not hesitate."
("Do not hesitate, Zenjou.")
"Yeah, I will not regret it."
I don't understand. Why did I must kill you that time, Habari?
The former right-hand of late Blue King silently watched as the youth's figure completely disappeared from the room. The current Blue King rose from his bed and also walked to the door.
"The meeting is over. Looks like we have so many things to be prepared, aren't we, Zenjou-san? Or do you have any questions?"
Questions? He has so many of them. He felt like he didn't understand anything at all. Blue Kings. Munakata.
Habari.
But there's one thing he had to make sure of.
"You will not let the boy share your fate, aren't you?"
Munakata just smiled softly and walked out of the room, as if his smile is enough for an answer. But the right-hand man of the late Blue King understood the meaning of that damned familiar smile.
The answer is as clear as the blue sky.
King, Zenjou thought, is truly the cruelest being.
000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
As Munakata predicted, Mihashira's plan was failed and Green clan succeed in stealing the Slate. As per Munakata's plan, he had a nasty verbal fight with Fushimi and the boy left in anger (he wondered how much it was acting and how much it was their scream to each other for the last time). Then, just like Munakata's prediction, the boy managed to be Jungle J-ranker, the current Blue King was fired from his job, and the rest of Scepter 4 were not allowed to leave home base.
The final stage had been prepared.
"I wish I knew what they were thinking, both Captain and Fushimi-san!"
A young energetic blue clansman's voice of frustration echoed in his ears, while he accompanied the Captain walked toward Green clan's base. Funnily, he wondered the same. He glanced at the current Blue King, hoped to catch a glimpse of emotion regarding his impending death. But the current Blue King walked straight as usual, there is no hesitation in his steps and his regal posture.
Habari, when you stood straight facing my sword, surrounded by destruction, what were you thinking?
Did he think about his duty as King to preserve society?
Did he think about his fate to die for everyone's sake?
Did he think about the benefit of his disappearance?
Is it... Is it so wrong for Zenjou to think the opposite?
To think that the world can crash and burn as long as he can be on his King's side?
("The country would be destroyed."
"I see... None of my concern. I fight with you, I die with you. That's all I need to do. Let Shiotsu take care of the rest.")
Losing on his thought, and let his body automatically slashed anything that came across their path, he halted when Munakata suddenly stopped in the middle of the road.
"Now we wait."
Wait, for what?
Zenjou got his answer quickly after. The road in front of him trembled and shifted. Green clan members around them yelled in panic, confused why and how the gate of their secret base was opened.
But the former right-hand of late Blue King understood. The boy did it. He chose to stay on his King's side and fight for his sake, disregarding his own life.
This means that for the boy, opened the gate for his King is the right thing to do.
Again, he hurriedly took a glance at the King beside him. The Blue King smiled softly, relief in his eyes tingled with immeasurable fondness.
"Fushimi-kun. You have done it."[8]
("That's right, Zenjou. That's fine.")
As if his mind wasn't already filled with painful nostalgia, a familiar person appeared from the gate. Ootori Seigo, the Gray King, another person who lost his everything because of Kagutsu Crater.
"Good grief, the gate really did open. Nagare's foresight is quite accurate."
Of course, the Gray King acknowledged Zenjou as Habari Jin's right-hand man. It's been 14 years ago, but no one will ever forget everything that happened in the middle of Kagutsu Crater. Not that he had any business with Ootori Seigo, now.
He was Munakata's problem.
As the Gray King summoned Damocles Sword, Munakata also summoned his. The broken Blue Damocles Sword clashed with the solid Gray Sword.
The Blue King unleashed his sanctum, pushing his Weissman level.
Green clan had been aware of the boy's infiltration.
The countdown of their death has begun.
So far, everything has gone according to Munakata's plan. But then many unexpected things happened. The first was the arrival of the red and white clansmen who entered the entrance that had been opened by Fushimi. Indeed, the Blue King had said that he cannot control the movements of other clans, but what happened after that certainly completely deviated from Captain's prediction.
Scepter 4 members, who were supposed to be confined in their home base, disregarded the orders from above and came to assist their King. For a supposed genius, Munakata is truly stupid to think that he stopped being their leader after he was fired. As if any clansman will accept that a single piece of paper dictates them to abandon their King.
("Tokyo Legal Affairs Bureau, Civil Registry Department, Annex 4 is just a facade. Our true identity is the proud Scepter 4 clansmen of Blue King, Munakata Reisi").
Supported by his clansmen's sanctuary, the Blue King rose from adversity and managed to turn the tide. In the end, he succeeded to land a fatal blow on Ootori Seigo and made his Damocles Sword disappeared. Every blue clansman rejoiced for it before suddenly Munakata's whole body crackled with uncontrolled Blue power.
Scepter 4 Lieutenant suddenly rushed to his side and prevented other people to come closer to her King.
"Everyone, stand back. You too, Zenjou-san."
Not too long ago, he challenged Lieutenant Awashima to kill her King. He didn't really think that it had to be her job to slay her King and stop her King's Damocles Sword. Maybe he was testing her. Maybe he was just annoyed because she nagged him about his role in killing King in the past (not that she was worse than Munakata about that). Maybe he was a little resentful because people like her remembered him best as the person who was credited with stopping Habari's Damocles Down by killing his own King.
No matter what reason, it was clear that Awashima took his words seriously. She immediately went to Munakata's side and kept everyone away from him.
"I am his lieutenant. If necessary, I will..." declared Awashima firmly, But her hands were shaking, indicating the heavy feeling raging in her heart.
("Zenjou, as always, you never do wrong things. You will cut what needs to be cut.")
The current Blue King just kept calm with his crackling body. Maybe he already gave up on controlling everything that happened around him and allowed himself to go with the inevitable flow of fate. What did he say before? 'There are times when you want to throw out reason and let fate take its course'.
"Awashima-kun, when the time comes, do not hesitate."
("Do not hesitate, Zenjou.")
Too focused on what was happening, no one noticed the gray king's departure from his previous place. Zenjou just noticed it for a while, and let him be. With the old man's battered body, Ootori couldn't do anything except mustered his last strength and limped toward his purpose of life.
"At least, he can die where he wants."
Which is certainly couldn't be said for Zenjou. All he can do is to live and observe the next tale of Blue. Blue that did not belong to him.
Wild power in Munakata' body was intensified. Crack in the huge blue sword grew exponentially. Lieutenant Awashima strengthened her grip on her sword, gritted her teeth.
Will history repeated itself?
Will the right hand of the King, the most devoted clansman of Blue, killed her own King?
Suddenly, crackles that enveloped the Blue King stopped. The broken Sword of Damocles disintegrated into blue sparkles, diluted in the clear blue sky. Lieutenant Awashima drastically relieved her tense posture, utterly grateful painted her pretty face.
Munakata himself didn't show any sharp change of expression. With the same serene and peaceful smile, the former Blue King whispered softly.
"It seems my life has been spared."
"Captain!"
Munakata turned his back facing his Lieutenant. He noticed the strong woman's refreshed face, as if she was just relieved from a huge burden and all is well. That's exactly what happened, indeed.
"I must admit that I was a bit curious to see if Awashima-kun would be able to slay me. However, I appreciate your efforts. Thank you."
Asshole. Even just after be free from the brink of certain death, the young captain is as cynical as ever. The Lieutenant's emotion didn't change much, but if someone looked closely, a spark of anger flashed her eyes.
"With all due respect, Captain. Your gratitude alone will not be enough."
"Huh?"
"Excuse me!"
A loud, well-deserved punch, streaked Munakata's baffled face. Zenjou snorted, silently cheered.
Serves him right.
He was truly satisfied to accompany Munakata today.
A huge earthquake shook underneath them. The Scepter 4 Captain in everything but an official title (not for long) quickly ordered his clansmen to evacuate. He himself stayed in the place he stood, stared forlornly at the remnant of Green Clan base below him. Come to think about it, Munakata had been staring at the Jungle entrance ever since he defeated Gray King.
As if he dropped something precious in there.
Do you regret hoping that he doesn't share the same fate as you, now that you survived?
Suddenly, a green light appeared behind him, carrying the bruised but clearly alive Blue's youngest clansman. The newly former King turned around, and finally met his private soldier's eyes for a long time since their hurtful (fake) quarrel. There are so many things that happened to them, so many things that should be discussed, but the youth casually spoke up, as if they're in a normal day of normal daily Scepter 4 life.
"Mission accomplished, sir.."
"Well done."
Seeing the serene scene in front of him, Zenjou suppressed the bitter envy in his heart.
If only he and Habari's situation ended up like them...
Kagutsu bastard... if he wanted to destroy everything so much, he should destroy the damned Slate when he was at it.
0000000000000000000000000
"So, have you found your answer on the last incident?" asked a man with a scary face beside Zenjou. His name is Shiotsu, the former Lieutenant of Habari's Scepter 4 and Zenjou's closest comrade after Habari. They were on a drink together in the same oden store as the last time [7].
"What answer? I was simply watching the current Blue King." replied Zenjou while sipping his drink. Shiotsu scowled.
"You certainly watched him because of  that time . You said that you want to understand Habari after all.[9]"
Smoothing his frown, Shiotsu raised his glass and pondered.
"To be honest, I am curious too. How did he feel when he stood between his own life and massive destruction? How did he feel when he asked you to kill him?"
"Habari didn't ask me to kill him. I chose to do it."
The bespectacled man suddenly stated, put his glass down slowly.
"That's my answer I guess."
"What?" perplexed Shiotsu. Zenjou Gouki is the absolute loyal dog of Habari Jin. For him to admit that he chose to kill his King... the former Acting Captain of Scepter 4 couldn't believe his ears.
"On the recent incident with Munakata, The Blue-I mean former Blue King didn't ask Awashima to kill him. Still, she rushed to his side, just like I did in the past. She's prepared to do what needs to be done, for Scepter 4 and society's sake. On the other hand, that boy Fushimi chose to risk his life for Munakata, opened the gate that became the entrance for Silver King and his alliance to enter Jungle, and indirectly caused Munakata's Damocles to disappear. Both of them didn't move because of command. They just did what they think is the right thing to do, without hesitation."
Zenjou took a dejected breath, and continued calmly.
"At that time,  maybe it happened to me as well. All Habari did was to let me do my choice and accepted his fate."
Shiotsu was silent, stared at Zenjou's contemplative look. The former guard dog of Blue King's face was melancholic just like how he always is while thinking about their King, but he could feel that finally, his closest comrade found peace in himself.
"I see... Then, did you regret your choice?"
Zenjou smiled wistfully.
"Part of me still wants to die alongside him on that day, but I will try not to regret what's already happened."
Shiotsu still remembered the days after the Kagutsu incident. Zenjou's blank hopeless look, as if his soul went with his king to the afterlife. Zenjou who left Scepter 4 right after Habari's death, and withdrew from everyone. Zenjou who refused to come out, and chose to grieve in silence.
Looking that his friend's sorrowful yet serene smile, Shiotsu felt very grateful that his friend was still alive and sat in his side.
"Good for you, Zenjou."
Looking at his comrade's unusual fond smile, Zenjou chuckled.
"So you can make a smile with that scowly face, Shiotsu."
"Shut up. I was born with this face, but you and Habari's recklessness certainly didn't help me to hold back my scowl."
Zenjou let out a crisp hearty laugh. Then, as if he had just remembered something, he grinned.
"Speaking about recklessness, Lieutenant Awashima is also not happy with both the current Blue King and his boy's recklessness. She's so angry when knowing that they literally walked toward suicide plans without her knowledge, intended to leave her alone to stay in Scepter 4 HQ and handle Clan's matters after their death. The discipline Lieutenant punched his superior and tried to break the boy's back with her hug."
Hearing that, Shiotsu couldn't help but snicker. Oh, he knew the feeling of that Lieutenant's frustration and exasperation very damn well.
"Of course she is, and they deserved it."
"On  that day,  Habari left your side to face Kagutsu alone. I also followed him and tried to die with him. To think about it, perhaps we both could be that reckless because we know that you can survive and take care of the rest of matters after our death. Like Awashima, do you ever feel angry-"
*BUGH*
A hard-boiled punch followed by a back-breaking hug answered Zenjou's question.

Tough Love 24
Pairing: Mikorei Fandom: K project. Synopsis: Mikoto and Reishi are both Kings of warring kingdoms. With the Red Kingdom getting more and more powerful, it was threatening to crush the Blue Kingdom. As the Blue King, Reishi wanted to end conflict even it means throwing away his body and dignity.  TW: dubcon, rape, abuse  Read:  a03 || ffnet A/N: Smut.
“Munakata…”
“Don’t say anymore, idiot.” Reishi roused himself. Supported by his elbow, he pulled Mikoto by the nape of the neck to kiss him.
“I told you I want it.” Reishi crooned. He’s aroused. He couldn’t help himself. Being this near to Mikoto made him crave for his body heat.
“I want it. I want you.”
Provocations like these were all Reishi could do to make his desire known. He’s still trembling a little at their nearness. The warmth of Mikoto’s breath on his face reminded him of painful things. The conflict mixed in his gut and the danger he felt made him sigh yet was not enough to deter him from planting wet kisses on Mikoto’s mouth. The kisses started soft, then became hurried and long. Mikoto stayed still, accepting it with eyes starting to glaze. Reishi tilts his head to kiss the other side of Mikoto’s mouth moaning softly as he worshipped it.
It’s been a long time since he felt like this. It was as if he was going to lose himself as he clung to Mikoto’s lips.
Mikoto cursed when Reishi inserted his tongue. The two of them don’t share deep kisses and it’s making his head spin. He pulled Reishi in and responded to the kisses with the same vigor. The intensity of their kiss was hypnotic. Reishi moaned as Mikoto sucked his tongue and licked the crevices of his mouth.
Was this also how he kisses Totsuka? Was this also the same kisses he gives her when they do it? Was there even a difference between kissing the beloved and the enemy?
The thoughts were painful but it was something he knew couldn’t be helped. At this time, Reishi just wanted to be fucked. He just wanted to fuck. He remembers Mikoto’s confession and breaks their kiss, eyes glazed from lust, panting heavily next to Mikoto’s ear. He noticed Mikoto’s throbbing cock that was already hard for him.
“I’ll do everything. Just sit back and relax.”
In the past, when they meet to have sex, Reishi does his utmost not to look at Mikoto and just wait for things to end. Now, Reishi couldn’t help but stare at how erotic Mikoto’s dick looked as he leaked precum. The large vein that snaked up his length made him feel even hotter and harder. He touched him and massaged his massive cock.
Damn. Reishi couldn’t help but curse. No wonder whenever he resisted him, he would end up hurting more. With a manhood like this, surely it wouldn’t be hard for someone to take him.
Reishi swallowed a lump in his throat.
Fuck. Excitement made Reishi shiver. The warm thing in his hand twitched as he accidentally squeezed it. He looked up and caught Mikoto’s aroused face. The redhead pulled him in to kiss him hard. The slick sounds his handjob made, made his hole feel empty. He played with himself using the lube-like ointment he found with the supplies.
Pushing Mikoto back, he adjusted his glasses and began to lick Mikoto’s length. He planted wet kisses and sucked from time to time. Reishi didn’t expect the day would come that he would actually do this for Suoh Mikoto, his enemy, the person he hated.
Looking at the blue king giving him head, Mikoto couldn’t help but feel a clench in his loins. He licked his lips and moaned as he looked at Reishi’s sunken cheeks. The sight of Reishi’s mouth enveloping his manhood made him feel even more aroused.
Reishi bobbed his mouth up and down Mikoto’s dick. Mikoto, unable to stop himself, grabbed him by the chin and kissed him hard. Reishi was surprised when Mikoto licked his tongue again and again. The thought of Mikoto tasting himself as he sucked on his tongue gave him gooseflesh.
He was right, Mikoto could taste himself in Reishi’s mouth but he didn’t mind. He didn’t mind no matter how wrong this scene looked.
“Barbarian…” Reishi admonishes as he hovered his mouth on Mikoto’s own. He still gives him another kiss before pulling away.
“Look closely.”
A smirk was painted at Reishi’s mouth when he positioned his ass above Mikoto's hard cock. Slowly, he inserted it inside and took time to lower himself to take it all in. The feeling of having something inside of him was not something new to him. Mikoto always fucked like this. Since he hasn’t been doing this for a while now, it was not easy for him to put Mikoto’s huge thing in.
He was not going to lie and say he didn’t enjoy it. The truth was he found satisfaction in the pain that it caused. In fact, it made him even feel hotter that he couldn’t help but moan in pleasure.
“You’re so tight.” Mikoto drawls as Reishi clenches around him.
The friction between skins felt good when Reishi began moving up and down Mikoto’s length.
“Suoh…” Reishi whined. Mikoto devoured his mouth as he thrust deeply.
The act gave Reishi a mix of pleasure and humiliation. It was only natural because up until now, whenever the two of them had sex, he only felt shame and confusion. For some reason, now he felt incredibly good.
 It was a weird feeling.
He doesn’t quite understand it himself.
As he moved, Reishi realized that he wanted to be pushed down and be fucked hard. He realized he wanted to be owned and treated roughly. He remembered those times Mikoto played with his body in an attempt to give him both pleasure and punishment. It was painful because he resisted it until he couldn’t anymore. But just like the first time they fucked, when they were still negotiating the armistice, he had his way just like this—riding him.
Mikoto grabbed Reishi by the shoulder and pushed him down underneath him. He couldn’t resist anymore.
“Your wound!”
“It’s fine. I’ll be fine.”
Mikoto thrust deeper, making Reishi cry.
“Ahhn!”
Reishi wrapped his arms around Mikoto’s neck and pulled him in for a kiss as the redhead continued pounding him.
“Mmmm… Aaaah…”
Tears started pooling at the corner of Reishi’s eyes as he held tightly onto Mikoto.
“Suoh.. Aaah…. It feels good..”
Mikoto was edging closer to his climax as Reishi heaved his name.
When Reishi tightened his arms around him, Mikoto pulled out and came all over Reishi. After a few seconds, Reishi also came. The image of Reishi covered in his cum was the most erotic thing Mikoto had ever seen in his life. His heaving chest and lust-glazed eyes made Mikoto want to fuck again. It was not his call to make though. Instead, he searched for something to wipe Reishi off.
“Suoh... “ Reishi whispered tiredly.
“Mmm?”
“If only things were different.” The blue king looked away when he said that.
It came off as a shock honestly. Just recently, he was tormenting him. When somehow they both remembered their first meeting, and after hearing Reishi’s confession, Mikoto realized that he'd done something that was unforgivable. He shouldn’t have blamed Reishi for the death of his parents. He shouldn’t have been obsessed with vengeance. When he saw him again as two leaders of opposing kingdoms, he didn’t think Reishi would forget what he did. He thought he'd be surprised to see him again. He thought he'd hate him as much as he did but there was none of that. Curiosity was all there was in the blue king’s violet eyes. There was also confidence. The blue king was confident that Mikoto would play by his tune, when he realized it was far from the truth, he tried seduction instead.
Sure the Blue King was beautiful. It was not difficult to be attracted to someone like him. But Mikoto’s hatred towards him wasn’t easy to dispel. Reishi had been desperate. It made Mikoto wonder why he was desperate like that to the point of throwing away his body and his dignity. The time when they fucked inside Reishi’s royal carriage, Mikoto remembered feeling taken aback at being desired. His enemy desired him. He could feel it in the way he peppered his face with hungry kisses, In the way he looked at him whenever they met to discuss things.
It was enough to make him angry.
‘Does Reishi even realize?’ was all he could think. He wanted to crush him. He wanted the blue king to respond to his hate with hatred as well. Before he knew it, it spiraled out of proportion. When his hatred turned to lust and affection started growing out of it, Reishi continued responding with hatred while he was overcome by guilt and consequence…. that is until yesterday.
When he was done cleaning Reishi, he snuggled up to him and slept beside him.
----
The rain finally let up in the morning. Mikoto and Reisi walked towards Reishi’s estate. When they arrived at Reishi’s estate, they were greeted by the surprised faces of Reishi’s attendants. They were all worried about Reishi. When they saw Mikoto with him they almost panicked. They all knew how much Reishi hated the man so it was a surprise that the two of them seemed to have spent the night together without problems. It also seemed that their king had gotten closer to the red king.
Mikoto didn’t notice their stares. He was preoccupied by the place. It was familiar. Because it was a bit near the house where he used to live, it somehow brought some memories back.
Reishi asked one if his attendants to fetch Mikoto a doctor and another one to prepare a room for the general. He announced that in the meantime he was going to allow Mikoto to rest in his bedroom. The maids looked at each other as they bowed before preparing breakfast and Mikoto’s room.
When they arrived at Reishi’s room, Reishi opened the curtains. He was about to change his clothes when he felt Mikoto hug him from the back. Reishi blushed and admonished the redhead in his mind. To distract himself, he decided to change the topic.
“When did your condition start?”
“I don’t know. It was not always like this. I wasn’t born to have a body that has difficulty clotting its wound.”
Reishi dragged Mikoto to the bed and motioned for him to lay down. Mikoto followed obediently and patted his side, motioning Reishi to lay beside him. However, Reishi only sat on the bed and gazed down at Mikoto. His brows furrowed.
“Don’t look at me like that. It's the truth.”
Reishi sighed.
“But maybe this is the product of that curse they were saying.”
“What?”
“The rumor, that any one who tries to harm the Blue King will be punished.”
“Ridiculous.” Reishi rolled his eyes.
“For a leader of such a religious nation, you sure act like an atheist.”
“I don’t believe in those kinds of things. I only believe in science and divine providence, not baseless rumors and myths.”
“Don’t worry. Even if I’m gone, they’ll be others who will protect the kingdom.”
Reishi flicked Mikoto’s forehead, earning a frown from the redhead.
“Don’t say things like that!”
Mikoto smirked and held Reishi’s clenched hand.
“Munakata… I’m sorry.”
“Idiot.”
“I love you.” Mikoto says matter of factly.
Reishi looked away and said,
“A lot of things has happened between us. We’ve both hurt each other in some ways you know. But I’m glad you took the initiative to make things right.”
Reishi swept away the tufts of hair that covered Mikoto’s eyes.
“Rest first and then we’ll eat when you wake up.”
Mikoto pulled Reishi to kiss him on the cheek.
“Stay with me. We only have a few days together before we return.”
Returning meant both going back to each of their families. Reishi clenched his hands and swallowed a lump in his throat. It was weird really, that he still feels frustrated at the thought that Mikoto decided to marry without even telling him first. It was true that as retaliation he also announced his marriage. But this was because he wanted to show Mikoto that he was not foolish to want to possess him as well. He wanted to show him his thoughts and actions were his but...
“Mikoto’s going to be married” as Izumo said those words it felt as if his world had shattered. He didn't know why that pained him enough to feel his heart sink. It was hard pretending nothing was wrong, that he was perfectly alright. However, he had to keep appearances because Izumo closely observed him.
Reishi declined Mikoto’s offer. He didn't need to get attached even more. Mikoto after all didn’t suffer from the same guilt as he did.
It was not easy to understand what Reishi was thinking. Mikoto had the inkling that maybe he was thinking about that tundra woman. He let it slide. They both needed a break.
----
“How is he doctor?”
“There seems to be nothing wrong with his body.
“His wounds do coagulate, only slowly and.. Yes.. but anyone will die if they are wounded critically..
“Have you been feeling unwell general? If so since when?”
“No.. I’m fine. I haven't been feeling unwell.”
“If that is so, then there is nothing to worry about. I’ll give you medicine and tips on how to maintain your body so that the speed of your coagulation will improve.”
“So it’s not a curse after all?” Mikoto chuckled.
“No. But you still have to take care of your body, your highness. Even if you're the strongest warrior, you won’t be for long if you don’t take care of your health.”
The doctor excused himself, leaving both Mikoto and Reishi alone.
“Isn’t it great? You can’t die from being only wounded once after all.”
“Why? Were you happy if it turned out to be true?”
Reishi huffed. The idiot didn't notice that Reishi was actually quite worried for him. The blue king was grateful for it.
“Let’s eat. Breakfast is ready.”
While they were eating, Reishi talked about a piece of information that was just sent earlier to them.
“While you were asleep I was informed that the tribal wars in the south had worsened and are threatening something close to a civil war in the area. We need to intervene as soon as possible and aim for the tribes to make peace.”
“Was the information from Izumo?”
“Yes. I already informed him that you are at my estate this morning. It seemed like the messenger got lost because he couldn't find you in Rahsti.”
“Munakata… be careful around Izumo. He seems to have taken a liking to you.”
“Really?”
“The guy’s not bad. It’s just that he gets greedy when he wants something.”
“But aren’t the two of you friends?”
“We are…”
“Then what’s the problem? Surely he won’t touch anyone who is already with another? He isn’t scum like that right?”
“Yeah. You’re right. But the guy’s quite the obsessive freak behind that calm demeanor of his.”
“You don’t need to worry about me.”
Mikoto just stared at Reishi finding the right timing to ask him to accompany him to visit his parent’s tomb.

“K - THE FIRST STORY” (Novel)
CHAPTER 2: FLAMES (Part 2)
*PROLOGUE: SIDE: THE BOY
CHAPTER 1: THE BOY NAMED ISANA YASHIRO
Translation: Naru-kun Raws: Ridia
Awashima heard Kusanagi's voice so cold for the first time. Kusanagi was calm and not bothered at all. However, the calm he usually shows in front of Awashima is not so fragile, and he simply announced the minimum deeds and will necessary.
The fact that the executive, Tatara Totsuka, was shot dead by a person claiming to be the "Colorless King." Since this case is a problem between clans and the police intervention does not make sense, they did not denounce it and they report that those who took the body was "Homura". The report states that "Homura" will use all of his strength to pursue him after all. She knows that "Scepter 4" cannot be used in places where it is useless, but "Homura" goes after the criminal on his own and does not require any cooperation from "Scepter 4".
Kusanagi said it terribly clerical and one-sided. He barely answered Awashima's words. Kusanagi reaction remained the same whether he called as "Kusanagi Izumo" deputy director of "Homura" to "Scepter 4", or as "Kusanagi-kun" and her acquaintance to Awashima Seri.
When he hung up the phone, Awashima immediately manipulated the PDA, took off her garment and put on her underwear while calling out to the "King" and "Head of Scepter 4".
Despite arriving late at night, Reisi Munakata, the head of the office, responded with a single call.
"What's happen?"
"There was a report from Izumo Kusanagi, the executive member of 'Homura'. Tatara Totsuka, an executive of 'Homura', was assassinated by someone claiming to be the 'Colorless King'."
Awashima made a simple statement, inserting a jacket between her shoulder and face and pulling the sleeves into her uniform.
Munakata replied, "I understand."
"We will call members on an emergency call. Please meet at the base immediately."
"Yes!"
When the call ended, Awashima was already well dressed in her uniform. To finish, she quickly tied her tousled hair in front of the mirror, fixed it with a hair clip, put on her boots, and left the room.
As she hurries down the hall, Awashima feels the rush of blood close to her heart.
A member of the clan dies. That's sad. She also experienced it in "Scepter 4". However, if the criminal becomes another "King", a clan war is inevitable. Furthermore, Tatara Totsuka is surely the oldest member of the clan with Suoh and Izumo Kusanagi.
Remembering Kusanagi's voice on the phone, when she entered the captain's office of “Scepter 4”, which was adjacent to the bedroom, she was led into the twister due to the commotion that might occur. Munakata and the members of the special affairs team were already prepared.
Awashima bowed to Munakata, who was sitting in the office, and looked briefly at the faces of the hurried members. After thinking that Fushimi was missing, the door opened at the same time with a loud bang.
Saruhiko Fushimi, who has entered the office, said with a sulky look that the "Homura" executive was killed.
The eyes with black rimmed glasses and slightly long bangs carry a somber light. She has never seen Fushimi in a good mood, but today he seemed more frustrating than ever.
Fushimi is a young man with a unique past who has changed from "Homura" to "Scepter 4."
He lacks coordination, but he has a lot of power to make up for it, and although he is still 19 years old, he is at number 3 on "Scepter 4."
"Scepter 4", which plays the role of a police force against the Strains, and "Homura", which started from a street gang, are conflicting organizations that collide frequently. What happened to Fushimi's turn, Awashima doesn't know the detailed circumstances and never felt the need to know in particular.
However, she was deeply impressed by how he received the news that the "Homura" executive with whom he had been involved was assassinated.
Munakata bypassed the members and began to explain the current situation.
Shortly after receiving the news from Awashima, Munakata had contacted the police and made the minimum necessary adjustments.
Police had already launched an initial investigation after receiving a report from the general public that heard the shot, and had also obtained sightings of men carrying what appeared to be the body. However, Munakata received notice that the right of investigation was moved to "Scepter 4" and that the police would only deal with the backup because it was a "male case" involving a person with special abilities. Police investigations have stopped.
Fushimi irritated his hair in front of Munakata, who insisted that they conduct an investigation.
"Isn't this dangerous? If it goes wrong..."
"Yes, we cannot do bad things. We will catch the criminal."
Fushimi's words were accepted and Munakata said in a rejecting tone.
"We cannot let criminals who get out of order and commit crimes go unchecked, and we cannot afford to ignore a private sentence that could involve hundreds of thousands of unrelated people."
Awashima took a breath in the current crisis that was clearly declared by Munakata.
Suoh wants to kill the "Colorless King". It was a possible future, where Awashima tried not to look ahead, feeling what would happen if he killed the King due to the instability of Suoh's Weissmann deviation.
Awashima reconsidered Munakata. The orderly "Blue King" did not disturb his calm and graceful face, his eyes beyond his glasses were calm, but his feeling was not always the same.
"Let's find the criminal. In our cause, without cloudiness."
They all corrected their attitude and welcomed Munakata's statement.
Awashima casually stopped next to Fushimi and walked side by side as they moved to their respective posts.
"Totsuka Tatara, who was killed, what kind of person was he in "Homura"?"
She asks Fushimi in a calm tone. She thought that he wouldn't reply deeply if he was astonished, but Fushimi looked at Awashima, and replied without emotion.
“He was a non-combatant. He mainly played the role of turning situations well, such as taking care of the education of newcomers or dealing with problems from his colleagues. Usually, Izumo Kusanagi was in charge of negotiations with the outside, but there were times when Totsuka was good at correctly engulfing the opponent in smoke and deceiving them."
Does it have a purpose to respond only with the performance without touching the personality? Awashima looked at Fushimi's profile. After all, his emotions don't show up there, but she felt that his always pale cheeks were paler than usual, probably because he woke up at dawn or because of the content of the news.
"Suoh Mikoto is…"
Awashima muttered as she recalled the "current crisis" she told Munakata.
"Even if he knew he would repeat the tragedy of 13 years ago, would he kill the 'Colorless King'?"
Nobody knows Suoh like Awashima. Awashima, the first member of the Munakata clan, was alongside Munakata when he first collided with Suoh. At that moment, Suoh laughed at Munakata's persuasion and concessions and removed his fangs. Facing Awashima, Munakata, who was always calm, disturbed his feelings at the situation of the fire beast or the disaster of the human form.
She believes that he is a terrifying man who has a violent orientation and destructive power. Awashima couldn't qualify that man, that even Munakata couldn't understand, he was immeasurable.
“The role of Tatara Totsuka. I think there was also an aspect like Suoh's security device."
Fushimi said bluntly. In the end it was a completely self-talking tone.
Before Awashima answered anything, Fushimi suddenly left Awashima.
++++++++++
A shot sounds.
The sound he doesn't know how many times, Kusanagi heard at the bar. The images taken by the old camera of Totsuka are converted into data and now played back on a personal computer. The video data was sent to the PDA of all the members of Homura to report the face of the criminal.
Seeing the images of his friend being killed over and over again gave him the feeling of falling asleep in his chest, but when anger and sadness find a place in his heart, those emotions are felt. No more irrational fuss. It may be okay to say that you are used to it.
Hearing the criminal boy make a name for himself, Kusanagi paused the video and spread the boy's hands. He intended to identify the type of weapon and follow the weapons acquisition route.
Kusanagi's PDA by his side, receives reports from "Homura" members one after another. Now they are gathering information about sightings around the building where Totsuka was killed and they go to the information store and the people behind the scenes to ask, but the results have yet to be achieved. There are many reports that members with blood on their heads were rude and had trouble, or had a fight with a member of “Scepter 4” who rushed in.
In particular, Yata, who is the leader of “Homura's” vanguard, was prone to ruin now because he was prone to getting caught in a direct path. He uses Kamamoto as an immobilizer to keep his balance, because otherwise he could hit some average person and hurt him. He was still a teenager and often played the role as his brother. Above all, it was Yata who saw Totsuka take his last breath, it can be said that it is reasonable.
As Kusanagi worked diligently, he heard footsteps descending from the second floor. Kusanagi removed his sunglasses and narrowed his eyes slightly, where the loud noise of stepping on the stairs and the soft noises of light weight, overlapping each other, made noise. "It's about time.", he mutters under his breath. Soon the other members will join as well.
Suoh and Anna appear at the bar. Anna's hand that was clinging to Suoh's back to hide in the middle, had a red flower. Anna held her in her hands, holding her to her chest.
The flowers were planned for everyone to give as a gift one by one on Anna's birthday. It seems that the rose that Totsuka gave to Suoh to give to Anna last night, was correctly given to Anna by Suoh. Kusanagi couldn't do it. The rose that could not be delivered or thrown away remains alive in a glass vase in Kusanagi's room.
Totsuka was supposed to give it to Anna when she brought that ribbon. He felt sad when he thought about the gift Totsuka prepared, but when he saw Anna holding the rose in her hand in an important way, he also thought that it was the best gift that could be given to Anna.
"Well, everything is ready."
Kusanagi stands up off to a good start.
"Anna, wait here. Mikoto..."
At the call, Suoh follows Kusanagi without answering.
As he climbed the stairs, Kusanagi looked back and saw Suoh behind him. A simple ring-shaped earring was on the cartilage part of Suoh's left ear, which follows Kusanagi after slightly dropping his line of sight. Sometimes it glowed red when it received light. Kusanagi turns forward, looking at the earring he's not used to in his ear.
"Do you think the boy who killed Totsuka is the 'Colorless King'?"
"Perhaps."
"Do you understand that between "Kings"?"
"No. It's just intuition."
Kusanagi sighed. It was a small sigh, but the exhaled emotions were heavy. The opponent is a "King". Kusanagi understood the meaning well.
"The previous seventh king, the 'Colorless King' Miwa, died in late September. After that, I don't know the story of the birth of the new 'Colorless King'. He was born in secret. We also don't know why he murdered Totsuka."
"Never mind."
It was an audible voice that he couldn't hear.
Suoh doesn't care who he is or why he did it.
Just find him and kill him. He's probably thinking that's enough.
Kusanagi said nothing more and approached Totsuka's body that was lying in Suoh's room on the second floor of the bar.
He closed his eyes and smelled the blood from Totsuka's cold body. There is not the piercing that he always wears in his left ear, just a small hole in the cartilage.
Behind Kusanagi, Suoh made a noise that lit a cigarette and the familiar smell of smoke wafted through. The smell of the cigarette slowly replaced the smell of blood.
Kusanagi looks at his friend's white eyelids, which no longer open.
The graceful face whose auditory hair casts a shadow on the blood-boiled cheek looked like a doll, and was like a stranger.
"Even though I'm always calm, I'm dying to face it."
From now on, he will be cremated with the flame of Suoh.
It was also the smoke from Homura's battle of retribution.
The body was burned near the sea.
Kusanagi and his friends, who were cheerful, spoke well and laughed at all times, lay silently and without expression in front of the coffin.
They couldn't erase Kusanagi's mood as if he was dying, his expression was so calm that he suddenly stood up and said, "Is it just a surprise?" And serious. Totsuka didn't wake up and closed his eyes with a disgusting look. The contrast between Anna's soft reddish color next to Totsuka and the pure white color of his skin, which is no longer bloody, stays strangely in the eyes.
The moment Totsuka was cremated it felt strangely quiet and calm. Only this time, everyone was filled with sadness and regret rather than anger, and Suoh seemed to be as clear as usual from the edge.
Suoh's flame of extraordinary power instantly burned the coffin that contained Totsuka, leaving nothing behind.
No Blood! No Bone! No Ash!
It was the last moment that he embodied the words of "Homura", but like the remains of Totsuka in this world, the earring that Totsuka wore shone on Suoh's left ear.
After three days.
It seems that the quiet moment of Totsuka's funeral was a dream, time was running out and it was too difficult.
"Homura" did his best to search for the criminal boy, and even the members who had little relation to Totsuka were burning with the spirit of battle and revenge.
When it's normal, there are a lot of nice people who get together and make stupid noises, and that's why they get excited like children to celebrate a girl's birthday, but once they get angry and have a fighting spirit, they burn like a flame and they don't fit in until the other part is burned.
Kusanagi usually sprinkles water on those people as needed to control them, but this time, Kusanagi lets them burn as well.
Using all kinds of information networks and some rough means, he was able to find out how the killer got the gun, although the whereabouts were unknown.
Kusanagi, who got the information at midnight, hurriedly returned to the HOMRA bar and made his way to the second floor room where Suoh was the first to live.
"Mikoto."
Suoh was lying on the couch in the room, lazy with a cigarette in hand. When he turned to Kusanagi, the long ash that had accumulated on the end of the cigarette fell to the ground.
"What happened?"
“I discovered the origin of the weapon that killed Totsuka. A multinational mob that wins a large business. Recently, it seems to have focused particularly on arms trafficking."
"I see."
"I need to ask the 'customer' who sold the weapon if he knows him or has a relationship with him. Muko-san doesn't speak so easily, but the time and effort of using the hands to fry is pitiful. I think I'll just take the elite around Yata and Kamamoto to the question."
"No."
Suoh with a low voice, carelessly interrupted him.
"I'm going too."
Kusanagi stared at Suoh's apparition, who said that while still in a lying limbs position, and blinked several times.
"When you go, it will be important."
"Yes."
"Even for the last few days, 'Scepter 4' has been keeping an eye on us. If you move there, maybe those guys will be out there big."
Suoh smiled.
He grabs the cigarette that has been too short, squeezes it in his fingers and extinguishes it with his own flame.
"Let me be."
In a word, Kusanagi somehow sensed Suoh's heart and sighed with a bitter smile.
“Goodbye to the plan, right? It's weird, but if you call, you can gather members right now."
“No, tomorrow is fine. You should take Anna with you to see if he's lying."
"I agree."
When he tested the calculations for tomorrow in his head and solved the difficulty, there was a voice from behind calling him, "Kusanagi."
When he turned around, Suoh had a mocking smile and cheered at Kusanagi lightly.
"Go to sleep."
Kusanagi slightly opened his eyes, squeezed his face for about two seconds, then bent down and shook his face.
"Yes, thanks."
"You can't sleep well all the time."
"I will return that word exactly as it is."
On the contrary, it seems that there are few humans who sleep properly after the incident among the members of "Homura".
But surely, he should have slept well. From now on the situation of having to move the head and body continues. He need sleep.
The same thing happened with Suoh, but Suoh shrugged slightly at Kusanagi's words.
"If you do it now, you will be asleep."
Guessing the meaning of the word, Kusanagi frowned.
From before, Suoh was sometimes "sleeping". While sleeping, control of the power is removed and the flame escapes accidentally, burning the walls of the room. It is usually when Suoh has a nightmare. He hasn’t asked in detail about his dream, but he can imagine.
Although it is true. He thinks now it's even better.
"No matter how much you sleep; you will not sleep."
Suoh chuckled slightly when he said that he had no words to say to the ground, neither poison nor medicine.
Probably tomorrow, he will meet "Scepter 4". If Suoh moves, so will the "Blue King" Munakata.
Kusanagi thought silently, looking at Suoh's expression, thinking that that might be a good thing.
++++++++++
That day was a very cold day.
However, if she walks alongside Suoh, the cold recedes.
Anna looked at the back of Suoh, who is walking at the beginning of "Homura". In the sight of Anna, the color of his power is visible from Suoh's body.
The most beautiful red than anyone.
Suoh, who was visible to Anna, always wore a clean red. Red has a terrifying power, but it is very beautiful and warm.
Even now, Suoh's red is transmitted to Anna from the hand that holds his jacket and warms Anna.
"Ok, let's go ask."
"Sorry, Shohei! Open the door first!"
"Ok, San-chan. I've worked part-time at a pizza parlor, so I can go naturally. I'll pretend to deliver pizza, and when the other door opens, they'll attack!"
"Yata-chan, run after the signal. Don't run ahead."
"Yes."
Behind Suoh and Anna, Kusanagi and his friends make the final confirmation.
From now on, "Homura" will attack a multinational mafia office.
According to a Kusanagi survey, the weapon that killed Totsuka appears to be a modified pistol sold by the mob. The criminal boy is unlikely to be a member of the mob, but it would be a great clue if there was a firearms trade between the mob and the boy.
Anna had a reason to accompany this storm. Anna has the ability to see through everything. Even if the other person is reluctant to give out information, Anna can reveal the lies and secrets.
Suoh's hand was clutching the lid of the lighter he had, playing with a clicking sound. In this way, Suoh's strong emotions do not flow towards Anna even when he is close to her. Suoh's emotions sank deep into Suoh, and the surface even seemed to calm down.
Suoh flips the lighter with the lid open and places it near the cigarette still in his mouth. There was a little noise.
Suoh turned around and looked at Kusanagi. Kusanagi cleared his eyes, followed by Suoh from behind and slightly raised his hand to greet him.
"Good, go ahead. Mikoto, come as slow as possible."
When Kusanagi said that, he passed Suoh's side and advanced, Yata and his colleagues bowed slightly to Suoh and continued.
Suoh and Anna became the only two to part with Homura's people, who were moving fast.
Anna takes a red marble out of her pocket.
She often uses this marble as a vehicle when using her sensitive abilities.
Anna looks at the monochrome world through red marbles. Suddenly, she saw small snowflakes fluttering from the sky.
Anna looks up at the sky. It was starting to snow. Small snowflakes fall in the wind as they dance. No wonder it's cold. It's cold today, like that night Totsuka died.
"Mikoto."
When Anna called softly, Suoh looked at Anna. Suoh's left ear glows red with the earring.
"Are you going to kill him?"
In response to Anna's question, Suoh makes a selfish smile.
"It's not that good."
Anna pursed her lips tightly and concentrated on her hand that was holding Suoh's jacket.
"Just do what you want to do."
Suoh's steps remain the same, slowly, but in a straight line without hesitation.
++++++++++
Sitting next to a mob member who was shaking after being beaten by Yata and his friends, Kusanagi was smoking slowly.
On the floor of the spacious mafia office, who had been drunk, there were men rolling on the floor after “Homura's” attack.
Sitting next to Kusanagi, a member of the mob staring with his swollen eyes, at his comrades sprawled on the ground. Kusanagi brings the image projected on the PDA closer to his eyes.
"So, this is the guy we are looking for…”
Speaking to a foreign mobster in English, he points out the image of a boy claiming to be the "Colorless King" who killed Totsuka.
"Look the gun he has. It's from your place. Don't you know anything about it?"
The mob executives just flinch and don't respond. The weapons they brought to this country, modified and distributed, killed Totsuka. They needed to be remembered carefully.
Kusanagi put his arm around the back of the couch where the mob member was sitting, and he spoke so low and close that his breath was very close to his face.
"Relax and take your time to remember."
At that moment, a roar was heard. Dust enters through the entrance that Kamamoto broke during the attack. It seems that more tough customers have arrived.
Kusanagi smirked. He wanted to shake it some more, but the King had already arrived.
A heavy step was heard from the dust. Suoh stands in a relaxed look, hidden behind him, a pretty girl looks uncomfortable in this place.
"King!" Yata, Kamamoto and other members of "Homura" bowed at the same time.
"It's early, Mikoto."
Kusanagi says that, the lower part of his eyebrows are lowered. Suoh paused for a moment as if he had come to the neighborhood for a walk.
Anna stepped out from behind Suoh's waist, and when she noticed the shaking member next to Kusanagi, she hurried to run.
A mafia man with a swollen face and a nosebleed looked scared at a doll-like girl. Perhaps another kind of fear was felt in the appearance of the girl who appeared in the middle of such a disaster.
Anna took a red marble out of her pocket and hung it in front of her left eye.
She is a Strain with unique abilities before she was a member of the Red Clan. Her eyes communicate with various things like the past and the future, distant places and human hearts, and "see" by her total feeling. There is no such thing as looking at the thought of a scared man. If it's still hard to see, just push a little harder and try to uncover the hidden stuff.
However, Anna, looking into the mafia man's eyes through the marbles, simply lowered her arm.
"He does not know it."
Anna's words spread an air of disappointment among the members of "Homura". There are no leads on the criminal. Although some sighs ended, Suoh seemed not to care and said in a low voice.
"Let's go."
Suoh turned his back on him slightly and started walking.
Unfortunately, the members of "Homura" chase after him, and Kusanagi also offers a sincere apology by raising a hand towards the crushed mob and continues.
Suoh did not use the regular entrance and exit, and hit the wall protruding from his body slightly on the nearest wall and made a large hole, and got out of there. It's exciting.
"Mikoto-san, Kusanagi-san."
Fujishima and Eric, who are the "Homura" members who were watching, run down the hall.
"The boys in blue are coming. It seems that riot police are also deployed on the first and second floors of the building."
Behind Fujishima's report, Eric also says with a strange face. "The "Blue King" is also coming out. It only hits the mafia, it's an overdone team."
"I'm sorry. Right now, the Blues should want to stop us, even if we push a bit. Normally we wouldn't squeeze as much as we did a bit of force to ask at the yakuza shop, but this time we want to catch ourselves the hard way. The harm to the general public by people with powers is a great cause for the Blues due to the violation of accord 120."
"Agreement?" Yata greatly distorted her youthful face.
"The damage to the general public was just the wall that flew off, right? If the Blues get in the way, let's attack!"
Kusanagi shrugged, with Yata's breath at his side, and put his hand on Anna's shoulder, which was attached to Suoh's back, and gently pushed her towards Fujishima and his friends.
"Anna, evacuate with Fujishima and Eric. It's going to be difficult."
Anna gently approached Fujishima and others, but looked at Suoh with concerned eyes. Suoh doesn't look at Anna, but starts walking again.
Kusanagi smiles and looks at his back, and puts his hand gently on Anna's head and follows Suoh.
A red flame arises again from Suoh's body and deflects. The flame breaks the wall of Suoh's hand slightly like chocolat and opens a path. Apparently, it seems that the structure of the building is completely ignored and a hole is drilled in the desired location.
Maybe he has settled on a horizontal route, or maybe he just wants to spit out the flames swirling around his body.
When he went down to the second floor, Suoh burned the wall again. A red, tsunami-like flame penetrates the wall easily and the heat melts nearby metal. The flames in Suoh still burned so that he couldn't calm down, a loud sparkling noise crackled under Suoh's feet, who stomped on the ground.
To be continued soon... Be patient, I will translate the chapter little by little.

Here’s a throwback: K Project 😎
oh my god I forgot this was in my queue!!!!
Favorite character: MUNAKATAAAAAA, oh wow I can’t bring myself to catch up on K related material but I still love him. There will always be a special place in my heart for one (1) dramatic puzzle loving bureaucrat, who managed to be a silly nerd with a heart of gold and a sadistic bastard, all at once. He was such a fun bundle of contradictions!
Second favorite character: this is so tough, mostly because I don’t remember very many people. Gosh. Zenjo? Tenkei, maybe? And I always love Awashima.
Least favorite character: Oh, Nagare, hands down. I got so tired of that guy. What the hell was season 2 about, even?
The character I’m most like: I don’t know! I think if I am like anyone it’s probably Awashima.
Favorite pairing: I hope you don’t mind me saying The Great Crossover Ship. I think a couple days ago I saw a picture of a black cat and a white cat and I was like, oh, it’s them! :’) I like to think they are still out there, trying to destroy each other at low stakes games unless anyone else happens to play against them, in which case they team up to ensure the absolute unparalleled destruction of their enemies. What are they doing in 2020? I would assume Reisi is crashing the squad’s game of Among Us. Hypothetical scenario for Munalsielle: would Reisi try to cover for her if she was the impostor, just because he loves her and enjoys seeing her wreak havoc? I think he would. Note: I have never played Among Us
Least favorite pairing: I guess, besides the obvious ones (Anna/anyone, etc)... I don’t know! I don’t really have a least favorite pairing, because I mostly don’t care about characters who aren’t Munakata Reisi. I’d probably skip over a lot of things, but nothing actively annoys me. I did get tired of the fandom prominence of MikoRei when I would have preferred Zenjo/Reisi or Tenkei/Reisi, but I get it, tragic star-crossed enemies and all.
Favorite moment: still the Kuroh/Reisi fight scene, which is the first scene I ever saw. I saw Reisi and I was just like, hm, that one is mine now!
Rating out of 10: 6/10, moderately fun, but the side materials and Munakata Reisi are really the most important things about this show

Cross Over Family AU
Characters included on this AU are:
Nobita Nobi and Doraemon (from Doraemon Series)
Shinji Ikari (NGE and RoE)
Munakata Reisi (K Project)
The first time they meet is when Shinji tried to see another apartment to live by himself, Nobita and Doraemon just "tresspassing" using the later's magical door, and Reisi need to spend his money on other things (yeah he's RICH).
Somehow with Nobita's puppy eyes and Shinji's "I just want to live peacefully" they can afford the apartment by Reisi's agreement (not sure why he just believe in his instinct).
The one who spend most time in the apartment is Shinji, while Nobita and Doraemon do the daily visits to this house and sometimes will do sleepover in weekend. Reisi also comes every day but mostly it's in evening or perhaps early morning due to his job.
Although sometimes feel disturbed, Shinji loves being with Nobita and Doraemon because they will do cool stuff like playing with toy gun or Doraemon using his magical gadget. Also he loves being surrounded with people who care for him.
Like a siblings, Nobita and Doraemon will have lots of fights for whatever reason but also not for long.
Nobita being the dumb one about other people's romantical attraction like when he see Shinji with someone "close" with him and he just casually asked, "Why are you guys so close together?" Then without anyone asked Doraemon will get rid of Nobita from the lovebirds place.
Reisi doesn't force Shinji to be talkactive or more open because he's respectful to the pain and feelings the young man has and just let everything goes naturally.
As a result, Shinji is also being the only one who ever ask Reisi "Are you not tired doing this/that everyday?" Although that sounds like a casual question but it do hit Reisi hard and he's happy that someone finally ask that to him.
Both Nobita and Doraemon also have their qualities especially when it comes to cheer people up: they will invite Reisi and Shinji to go outside, anywhere using the magical door or just flying with Bamboo Copter. Sometimes they also play instrument together although mostly the one who did it brilliantly will be Shinji and Reisi: Shinji with his cello, Reisi with guitar (cus guitar sounds amazing and he can do anything!), Nobita with harmonica, and Doraemon with nearby utensils.
The trio kids are ones of the few people who don't fear or being suspicious toward Reisi.
Reisi is the cool dad to all of them. No other explanation needed.
The one who mostly cook is Shinji.
Nobita likes messing around but also will clean up by himself out of respect.
Doraemon will always need everyone's help when seeing any mouse in the house.
I think this is enough for now because I won't stop thinking about this.

For the bingo, can I get uhhhhhh
Jin, Saru, Munakata, Treggy, Misaki, and perhaps for bonus points Mikoto?
You monster (affectionate)
For Jin
Tumblr media
Honestly I would’ve checked off that third space at the top if it weren’t for the fact that me and @sinnashu share brain waves when it comes to Jin. His character could’ve been so good if Mori had actually bothered to follow through and not kept most of his important character moments in side stories.
For Saruhiko
Tumblr media
Saruhiko is my little blorbo who rotates in my mind. I am shaking him. He recently got me out of my art block. I don’t have much to say about him rn because I’ve said it all already.
For Munakata
Tumblr media
I only partially checked off the no one understands him point because Cinna and I do share brain waves when it comes to him. I know a lot of people think he’s stuck up at first but the more you look into his character the more you realize he’s just a very sad adult. He’s only 24 and yet he has all these expectations placed on him as the blue king and he’s constantly put in the trolley problem where he has to decide whether he wants everyone else to die or someone he cares about to die and he always has to choose the latter. Yes he does have a problem with manipulating people but he’s also trying to establish order and manage like 70 people’s jobs. no one ever sees him for him and only ever sees him as the blue king and the one person who sees him as Munakata Reisi is the man he has to kill with his own two hands. Speaking of which here’s the Mikoto one.
Tumblr media
I literally could never get enough content of this dude. He’s doomed by the narrative. He’s gay. He’s dead from the moment he first appears on screen. He’s never really able to escape his fate of causing destruction. His internal conflict is honestly just so fun to watch in a sick twisted way. Barely anyone gets his mannerisms right.
Now onto the Tregear section.
Tumblr media
I don’t have much to say this time around except that Blue Phantom fundamentally changed me as a person. I’m writing my most creatively ambitious fic because of this character. He inspires youth across the globe (light hearted).

My Thoughts on K - Seven Stories
Tumblr media
I binge-watched this a couple of weeks ago. I nearly forgot about these until I found the subs. Haha
Here are my thoughts and a few screenshots (like one for almost each movie). I’ll just say a few things, I guess? Except for LSW (movie 4) and Circle Vision (movie 6) and Idol K (shorts) which will have their own posts cause I have the feels.
Tumblr media
Movie 1, “R:B - Blaze” shows us the beginning of how Munakata Reisi got his powers as the Blue King and his first meeting with Red King, Suou Mikoto.
It’s nice to see more stuff about the two clans and how things went before the series began -  from within their groups and how they thought of each other. There are also more bits and pieces of the Kagutsu Incident and we get to see the former Blue and Red Kings at their final battle which is awesome.
Tumblr media
Movie 2, “Side:Blue” - Like Sirius is about Kusuhara Takeru and Zenjou Gouki. Kusuhara is a member of Scepter4 who wanted to get in the Special Forces (You know, the group that fights directly under the Blue King which we see in the series) alongside his friends and everyone’s really supportive of him which is so nice. However, he’s not as good as they are yet and is told he’d only get in if he can get at least 1 clean hit on Awashima Seri on their spar. So far, no good.
Zenjou Gouki is the former Blue King’s right-hand man. He’s now retired and is working in Internal Affairs. He also watches over the training. Kusuhara ends up working under him later on and is also being trained by him when Kusuhara was given a time limit on his condition to join. Failure this time, though, means Kusuhara will lose his job.
This movie is... he got the job of course. Also, it didn’t end well. On his first day, too like why? Wtf?! I ended up crying when they told Zenjou what happened.
And I know Munakata is just trying to put logic into this and is actually feeling bad about what happened, too but freaking hell, man! That is not what you tell people who are grieving! I know you’re trying to rile them up and piss Zenjou off on purpose for a reason but still... you sound like a real jerk. This is why people think badly of you even though you’re not really that bad.
Also, this reveals why Munakata wants to have Zenjou out of retirement: Zenjou moves on instinct. Actions before thought: he does what’s needed and what's best especially in battle. He was the one who killed the Blue King before another Damocles Down happens after Kagutsu’s fell. He felt really bad for it and probably didn’t want to do it at all as Habari is his friend but it was for the best and so he moved without a second though. Munakata knows that Zenjou will do it again if needed. Munakata has Zenjou as some kind of fail-safe: if he’s become a danger like say, his sword is gonna fall, Zenjou would be able to kill him.
That kinda sucks to be honest. Zenjou was the one who took his own king’s life and he’s gonna be made to do it again if needed be. We all know how season 2 ended so it’s all good but still...
RIP Kusuhara Takeru. You’re one of the Best Boys and you deserved better.
Tumblr media
Movie 3, “Side:Green - The Overwritten World” gives us Goujou Sukuna’s backstory. He came from a rich family but with very controlling parents. Finding out his only friend was a fake picked by his parents was the last straw which had him run away from home. He uses the JUNGLE points he earns playing the game so he could escape those trying to capture him to get him back to his parents.
This also shows how he met the Green Clan. How he met Hirasaka Douhan and their first fight against Mishakuji Yukari, which while I wasn’t able to get a screenshot (sorry) to show you, is really pretty. You know how the art for this show is all shiny and kind of have this realistic look, right? Their fight is more 2D-ish but has a purple hue. It’s better if you see it but it’s really, really pretty!
In the end, it also shows how Sukuna became a member of the Green Clan and that he and Hisui Nagare has some things in common. It made this group more interesting, sympathetic, and more human despite being the main bad guys if season 2. It made me like them a lot.
Tumblr media
Movie 5, “Memory of Red - Burn” is centered around HOMRA and them planning Anna’s birthday party. I thought “Oh, a fun cute, episode with the Red Clan? Nice!”.
Then Tatara crosses paths with the Colorless King.
The it hit me...
Oh... no.
Yes, this movie is a direct prologue of the first season’s episode 1. How Totsuka Tatara died that fateful night. He’s a really nice guy, you know. They were having so much fun. Anna’s birthday was coming up, too.
When I saw the Colorless King, I started panicking. I told myself “It can’t be, right?” so when Tatara got back to the bar I was relieved. I thought it was safe but then he just had to freaking leave again! I was... I was muttering “No, please... someone please stop him...” while he was looking at everyone, unbeknownst to all of them, for the last time. I know I’m being overly dramatic here cause I already know his death is a foregone conclusion but still... I was getting really attached to these characters as the movie went on. I got to know a bit more about Tatara and why everyone is willing to murder a guy to avenge him in the series. It hurts, man. Even when I knew it still freaking hurts. I was crying when it finally happened.
Tumblr media
I said before I started liking them more cause of movie 3 but this, knowing they’re the reason why Tatara died made me hate them the moment I saw it. I still like the characters but I don’t think I could ever forgive them for this.
Tumblr media
No Blood, No Bone, No Ash.
Nothing left, not even ashes. Only memories of you in the ones you love. The cremation scene is just as sad to watch. What’s supposed to be a birthday celebration became a funeral.
RIP Totsuka Tatara. You’d be remembered, never forgotten and will always be an important and beloved member of HOMRA.
Knowing what happened at the end of season 1, I hope you and Mikoto are happy watching the outcome of the final battle.
--
Just wanna point out before anything else that it’s got a bunch of ED songs for each movie but more importantly, the OP “Survive!” by Angela is a total banger. I ended up listening to it on repeat alongside “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” by the Idol K seiyuus. It’s so good. And the OP video is so pretty! There’s a difference in character designs this time around from the original series though and I’m sure you’d realize it when you finally watch it: their eyes are a bit bigger. It made them look younger and it’s something to get used to. I liked the older version but this wasn’t so bad. Still, for K fans, it depends on you what you think.
Anyways, the entire movie series was so good but I wish there were more. So many more backstories unexplained. I know they’re in the LN and manga spin-offs plus some extras on drama CDs and stories posted online but come on, they deserve an adaptation, too!
I really wish they’d made more for this series. If I had the money I’d buy the dvds for these. Or the artbooks. Have you seen the artbooks? The art for posters and stuff are all so pretty! I’d love a copy of them to be honest.
Anyways, I already made a post on Idol K and LSW and Circle Vision’s will be made later.

Munashiro. Adolf and Reisi at a theme park or carnival, and walking towards one of the many games to win a large stuffed animal. Adolf is sure that he can win the game, but after many attempts (and a lot of cash down the drain) Adolf gives up. Reisi, however, tries and succeeds on their first go.
Is Munakata showing off because he wants to impress his boyfriend or is he just a show off XD I could see this happening too and Shiro just shrugs and wonders what he expected, somehow it’s perfectly like Munakata to be good at something like this. Imagine they decide to go to like some summer festival, maybe this is a new experience for both of them — Munakata’s family just never went and of course Shiro’s only ever watched them from afar. When he mentions he’d like to visit one himself one day Munakata’s glasses shine and a day or two later he shows up at Shiro’s dorm with a yukata and an outstretched hand. Shiro has to admit that it’s a lot of fun, and it’s a little amusing to him that here we have two Kings walking around a summer festival getting excited like kids.
They pass one of those shooting booths and there’s a big pink stuffed cat on display, Shiro decides to try and win it. Munakata offers to take a turn as well but Shiro waves him off, like I’m sure I can do this, I just need to figure out the math of the trajectory right. He grins back at Munakata like I’m a scientist too after all and then takes a shot…and completely misses. Shiro laughs sheepishly but says he’ll try again, slapping down money for another round.
Soon he’s out of spending money and hasn’t managed to win anything except a pack of tissues. He’s a little embarrassed that he got so caught up and didn’t even manage to get anything, at least they’ve already eaten so it’s okay he’s out of cash. Munakata finally steps forward all ‘allow me.’ Shiro tries to warn him like it isn’t as easy as it looks don’t make my mistakes but Munakata just gives him a confident smile. He carefully aims and shoots, hitting the grand prize target with ease. Both Shiro and the booth owner are staring shocked and then Shiro laughs because of course. Munakata is very pleased with himself and proudly presents Shiro with the stuffed cat, like this is also an important part of the summer festival isn’t it, winning a present for one’s significant other.

A King’s Instinct 2/2 [K Anime]
As a King when you experience a feeling of unease, usually bad things follow.
Fandom: K Anime
Pairing: Reisi Munakata/Saruhiko Fushimi
Rating: T
Created for @badthingshappenbingo Chapter 2 Square Filled: Put Your Gun Down and Step Away
Ao3 Link
Tumblr media
“Keep walking Blue,” Fushimi couldn’t help but stumble as he put weight on his injured leg. Fushimi grunted as a rough hand shoved his shoulder, forcing him forward.
“I don’t know what you’re expecting to happen when the Captain gets here, but it won’t go turn out the way you’re expecting.” Fushimi was doing his best to keep his voice even and not show how much pain the bullet in his thigh was truly causing him.
“You’re nothing but a pawn in this game Blue, so shut up and do your damn job.” The masked man who had taken him grunted and shoved him forward once more. Fushimi gritted his teeth, he hated that he had been caught off guard on his day off, hated that he had been taken and hated that he was being used as a hostage to get to Munakata. Fushimi knew he was better than this; his fingers itched to curl around his saber or his knives and gut this man.
Fushimi tugged at the cuffs again, hating how they were parodies of Specter 4’s. They were keeping his hands apart and rendered them useless. This man had rendered him useless with cuffs and a bullet in his thigh and Fushimi hated it.
“This is where your precious Blue King will meet his end, I’m sure you would prefer not to watch.” The man sounded amused as he yanked Fushimi to a stop. Fushimi couldn’t help but cry out as his injured leg was brutally kicked and he crashed down onto his knees as pain laced his body.
“Fuck you,” Fushimi coughed out before swallowing a gasp when his head was yanked back and a cloth was roughly tied around his eyes as a blindfold. Fushimi stilled when he felt the cool metal of a gun press against the back of his head.
“Come out, come out where ever you are Captain Munakata! Do it or your subordinate gets a bullet in his skull!” Fushimi’s kidnapper shouted out and Fushimi heard familiar footsteps approaching.
“Put down your gun and step away,” Munakata kept his voice steady even if he felt rage and fear bubbling his gut at the sight of Fushimi forced down onto his knees with his hands bound, eyes blindfolded and a gun pressed to the back of his head. It was a sight he never expected to see and never wanted to see again.
“You’re not the one who is holding all the power here Captain.” The masked man sneered as he dug the tip of the gun harshly against Fushimi’s head, the action-forcing Fushimi to bend forward further and fresh blood to bubble up from the bullet hole in his thigh.
“You are mistaken if you think for one moment that you do.” Munakata’s voice grew cold as his eyes blazed with his restrained flames.
“Oh am I?” The man laughed and shifted his arm that held his gun. Munakata let his aura flare to life and engulf him, the Blue Sword of Damocles formed in the sky above as the Blue King lunged forward with incredible speed.
Munakata’s saber was drawn and sheathed in a blink of an eye. Fushimi was in his arms a few feet away from the man who dared to kidnap him and the two were shielded by the Blue King’s protective aura.
“Your mistake was taking what is mine,” Munakata said coldly as he watched as the unknown man collapsed to the ground in a spray of blood, limbs neatly sliced off and the man’s heart had been easily stopped.
“C-Captain?” Fushimi whispered as the blindfold and cuffs were burned away with the cool touch of the King’s blue flames.
“Do not worry Saruhiko, you are safe now,” Munakata promised as he looked down at the injured man in his arms with a serene smile on his lips.
“Ah, thank you, Captain.” Fushimi felt his cheeks heat up at the smile and protective words.
“You can thank me later, perhaps over dinner. For now, however, we must get your thigh looked at.” Munakata said as his aura lifted both him and Fushimi off the ground and the flames directed the two back towards Specter 4.
“Captain!” Fushimi clung to the older man who simply chuckled as the world blurred around them.
Munakata tightened his hold Fushimi, taking extra care of his precious cargo and mind already planning out their upcoming dinner date. He would deal with whomever that man was later; he had something more important to handle for the foreseeable future.

Personal thoughts.
Just to put this out there, mates---
A clansman cannot be stronger than a king, Nor can they even Kill a king. A Kings power level further exceeds their underlings. That power is given to them by their higher-ups, but, it's only a cinch of their power, so that they are able to utlitize it.
Now I'm aware that Other Clansman such as Yukari, Kuroh, Yata, As well as Saruhiko are very good at combat. Three characters having an expertise at sword play, the other is skilled at a japanese martial art called Bō or Bōjutsu. (Yata being skilled at it, naturally)
Now, Yukari was known to have almost "strike" down Ichigen Miwa. But there's a reason where he was almost "Killed". ichigen had no intention with ever wanting to kill his disciple. He had the utmost advantage to kill Yukari easily if he wanted to, due to the fact that he is far more skilled in SWORD play, than Yukari, himself. Also, his abilities as a King would easily strike Yukari in less of a millisecond; why do I say this? In K project seven stories, Ichigen Miwa was able to show what he was capable of, whence he had intervened between Reisi Munakata's fight, with Mikoto. You can clearly see that Ichigen was strong enough to even blow back Mikoto's Aura, with a simple----piercing glare, that caused just a wave of power, putting The Red king out like a match stick. This shows, how brutally strong, Miwa is, even with a simple stare. Miwa is the Second Strongest King Along side Daikaku, as well as Nagare being the third. Ranking in as second strongest: Ichigen. AS ALWAYS Kokokuji, being the First. Anyways, In the end ichigen refused to ever want to harm Mishakuji, Because he cared about him. That in it of itself, is reasonable. Yukari had even said it himself, That ichigen was holding back. He is no match for him, or any other king, generally, and will be UNABLE to kill a king Unless he is a king himself.
Now, Kuroh, Yukari, Ichigen, they were like family, but fated to have a different destiny in the future. Kuroh Didnt call Yukari "older brother" or in Japanese terms "Aniue", for nothing. Yukari didn't just have one "family" but two, Sukuna, Nagare and Iwa, being his second "family" including the one with, Ichigen Miwa, and Kuroh, which will always be the first.
As for saruhiko, I've always been shocked about how he is capable of having three clan abilities. At this point on, i wouldn't be surprised if one day, he'd recieve another clans Aura, just for the sake of doing what he is ordered to do, even if having the need to gather information, as he had done before.
By the way, seems like there will be a new story coming in, that has to do with the red clans Past..way, FARTHER in past. Can't wait to take a look at it! Time for me to also start reading the rest of these novels~
I've had these thoughts I wanted to spew out, for a very long time. For months, Maybe.... finally, I've got it off my chest and placed an opinion. XD

Yandere Munakata Reisi.
Tumblr media
💎 As cool and calculating as he may seem, Munakata is actually very doting and affectionate towards his s/o. PDA doesn't really make him too uncomfortable unless it's something really explicit.
💎 He isn't too fond of calling his s/o nicknames. He will sometimes call them "my love" or "my darling", but most of the time he just prefers to call them by their first name. He loves how it just rolls of his tounge, it just feels so natural like he's meant to do it. But on the other hand, he will be over the moon if his s/o calls him a sugary sweet nickname!
💎 Neck kisses are life. He loves giving his s/o neck kisses, especially if they squeak every time he kisses them. Hugging them from behind is also preferred!
💎 s/o is one of the few people that can call Munakata by his first name, Reisi. He loves it when s/o calls him that because he feels like they have known one another forever.
💎 Munakata doesn't stalk his s/o. He respects their privacy, but he does monitor them online from time to time. If s/o is constantly posting pictures of herself online, Munakata will be happy but also very concerned. He doesn't like the fact that so many people get to see their beautiful, angelic face. So, if s/o posts stuff too often, all of their accounts will be hacked and taken down.
💎 But if s/o is a bit more private, Munakata will be even more intrigued. He loves a good mystery, and he will reveal all of s/o's secrets, one way or another.
💎 Munakata get's a real kick out of teasing his s/o. His face will be stone cold, completely emotionless and yet he says some of the sweetest or most suggestive things s/o has ever heard. Munakata lives to see s/o beautiful cheeks heat up, especially if he's the main reason.
💎 Munakata does not know the meaning of the word "personal space". He will stick by his s/o's side like glue. Nobody has the nerve to really question it though...
💎 Depending on the s/o, he may kidnap them. The chances are pretty high, especially since he will lose his patience eventually. He has been treating them so nicely, why doesn't he just steal them away? They obviously like being in his company.
💎 Munakata has mixed feelings regarding punishments. One one hand he doesn't like seeing his s/o hurt and crying, but on the other he likes seeing their beautiful blood decorating his sword. s/o will have some scars thanks to Munakata.
💎 There is a high chance of s/o developing Stockholm syndrome. As cruel and cold Munakata may seem, he will treat his s/o like royalty. They will sleep in the best bed, wear the finest of silk and eat only the best food.
💎 In short, Munakata has the potential to be one of the most dangerous yanderes. He doesn't like getting his hands dirty, but if his and s/o's relationship is in danger, he will do anything and everything to keep it safe.

How would the jungle members react when their s/o member dissappears and after some times (when they run into scepter4 or homra for example) they would find out that s/o tried to commit suicide and is in a coma since that?
SUICIDE ATTEMPT TRIGGER WARNING
SERIOUSLY
DON’T READ IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO THIS STUFF
IT’S NOT GRAPHIC BUT PLEASE BE CAREFUL
ILY GUYS SO DON’T PURPOSELY READ STUFF THAT’LL HURT YOU.
Nagare Hisui
He doesn’t fret too much about your disappearance at first.
It’s a dangerous time and it’s very possible that you had to go into hiding for a couple of days in order to avoid the other clans.
As for why you hadn’t contacted him, he assumed that you must have your reasons for that as well.
Though, as more and more days pass without a word from you and without any sightings of you (and yes, he has been using the resources at his disposal to keep an eye out) he begins to become more and more concerned.
Struck with the realization that you may have been hurt in a fight with Scepter 4, HOMRA, or the Silver Clan, he decides to check all of the hospital databases for someone matching your description.
He comes across a Jane/John Doe matching your description.
What surprises him the most is when he sees that they hadn’t been admitted for injuries consistent with what he would have expected from a fight, but instead it was an overdose.
It was rather hard to believe at first and he would have an incredibly difficult time trying to understand how his s/o could have overdosed, wanting to chalk it up to an accident, but based on the doctor’s notes it was evident that that wasn’t the case.
He would have gone to the hospital himself if it weren’t for the situation at hand.
So he sends the other members to alternate keeping an eye on his s/o while they are in their coma.
When no one can be there, he has Kotosaka sitting outside the window since it is the closest that he can get to seeing his s/o in person.
Waiting for them to wake up is quite distracting
He does his best to continue forward with his plans, but his significant other is never far from his mind.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t get to see them wake up and his significant other wakes up from their attempted suicide to learn that the slates had been destroyed, JUNGLE beaten, and the love of their life lost.
Tenkei Iwafune
Tenkei frets quite a bit over his significant others disappearance.
He appears to be pretty laid back about it even though he is worried.
Though he knows that they are quite capable of taking care of themself so he tries to not let it affect him since surely his significant other would come waltzing in and laugh at him for getting so worked up.
Still, he was unable to shake the pit in his stomach as his significant other failed to return by the time that they go to retrieve the Dresden Slate.
He finally hears word about their location, but unfortunately, it’s from the mouth of Munakata Reisi, informing him that his s/o (only known to Munakata as one of the J ranking members of JUNGLE) was being carefully monitored in a high security facility after having been brought in with a gun wound to the head that had been taken care of quick to preserve their life, but had left them in a coma.
Tenkei initially assumes that either Munakata was telling him this to throw him off (which he partially was, even if it was true) or that they had been attacked.
But, he had no way of knowing their relationship and it was clear that he took no pleasure in revealing this information.
It was hard to stay focused, but he managed to ensure that everything went according to Nagare’s plan.
It was awful for him knowing what kind of condition that his s/o was in without being able to visit them.
Once Fushimi Saruhiko joins, he presses him for information regarding their condition, but doesn’t end up getting a lot out of him.
Shortly before the Dresden Slate was destroyed, he managed to sneak in to see his significant other, spending as long as he was able to holding their hand while they slept and gently kissing them and asking them to wake up soon, even without knowing whether or not they would be able to hear him.
When his significant other finally does wake up, they are informed of his death, but without any memories of the man named Tenkei Iwafune, they can only assume he was someone important to them based on the dull ache in their chest and the tears that stung their eyes.
Yukari Mishakuji
When asked about whether or not he was worried about you after a couple of days, he cheerfully responded that ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder.’
He’s not all that worried about it.
If you were flying under the radar then there was likely a reason for it.
Plus worrying too much would give him wrinkles.
It seemed that fate had stepped into play, working in convenient ways as Kuroh had been the one to find his significant other with a noose around their neck in their apartment by complete coincidence. After cutting them down and bringing them to the hospital, he tracked down Yukari.
Adorably honorable as always, Kuroh told Yukari the news without any intentions of crossing swords with him.
As he did, the smirk on Yukari’s face wilted away and he left quickly without even teasing Kuroh for wasting the opportunity to kill him while his mind was elsewhere.
When he arrived, he was informed of the situation.
A lot of it went in one ear and out the other, but from what he understood, his significant other had been placed in a medically induced coma for some reason or another after attempting to kill themself.
He was horribly distraught, not understanding why his dear significant other would want to take their life.
He spends a lot of time with them when he isn’t following Nagare’s orders.
He also makes sure to bring fresh flowers whenever the previous ones he had brought began to wilt and would recite poetry and read to his s/o during his visits.
He’s relieved when they finally wake up.
Yukari makes it very clear that while he is busy that he isn’t ever too busy to listen if his significant other needs to talk because they are the most important thing to him.
When he can’t visit for longer than a day or two after they wake up, he makes sure to send something to let them know that he is thinking of them; jewelry, flowers, perfume, a stuffed animal.
Sukuna Gojo
Sukuna had been pretty distracted, he knew that. He was so focused on getting the highscore in this new game that Nagare had constructed that everything else seemed to cease to matter.
He had to win.
Even if it meant that he put his s/o on the backburner for a little bit.
Because of this, he completely missed the signs of their downward spiral and it took him a bit longer than it should have to realize that he hadn’t seen them.
He tried calling contacting them through the JUNGLE app, but got no response.
Mixed with anger and worry, he put out a mission that would reward points to anyone providing credible information regarding your whereabouts.
It didn’t take long for him to get a hit from a nurse at a local hospital who recognized his s/o as someone who had been brought in the morning before by someone who found them after they had attempted to drown themself.
Sukuna didn’t know how to feel.
Part of him was mad that his s/o didn’t say anything to him and also mad at himself for not noticing. Then there was the part that was so anxious that he thought he would puke and cry at any moment. To top it off in the cocktail that was his emotions, he was relieved that his s/o was alive and had failed in their attempt.
He spends as much time as he can at the hospital, even sneaking in after visiting hours with the help of lower ranking members, by his s/o’s bedside ‘guarding them from any cheating adults’, he claimed.
When they finally did wake up, he gave them an earful until he had finally calmed down.
“It’s not worth it if you aren’t here… so don’t do anything dumb like leaving me alone or I’ll be super pissed off, got it!”
He’s still just a kid really and doesn’t know how he is supposed to help, but he tries his best.
———-
This being written, please if you are considering committing suicide or harming yourself, talk to someone. Anyone. Preferably someone medically licensed to actually help you, but if that’s not available to you, then my ask box is open or you can absolutely pm me. I’m not always on and I definitely won’t always know what to say, but I’ll try.
Please just reach out and don’t do it because you are important to someone. Yes, you that is possibly sitting there and reading this and saying ‘yeah, most people, but not me.’ Stop that. Someone cares. I promise. You have made someone’s day once, whether you’ve realized it or not. Someone gives a shit about you. If no one else, then I do. I genuinely give a shit. Like, if I found out that you killed yourself I’d cry even if we have never talked. You’re worth life, you’re worth health, you deserve to be happy no matter what anyone, even yourself, tells you.
Please forgive me for any spelling mistakes and stuff. It’s 1:30 and I’m very tired. I’m probably gonna go to sleep soon.
