@anisecandy's prompt! I've never written Peter before so hopefully he doesn't throw anyone off. This is supposed to take place the night after Anise's serious comic:

They met up again the night after their rooftop agreement to start over. Spider-man landed lightly, but still audibly, on gravel next to where they sat. Venom was halfway through their bag of miniature chocolate bars–unwrapping and savoring them one at a time–and they stopped to turn and face their once nemesis. 

“May we help you?” They tried–and failed–not to feel too defensive. Even if, if, it was a check up, Peter probably hadn't specifically sought them out. Probably. 

“Oh, yeah, no, I'm fine.” Spider-man awkwardly scratched the back of his head through his mask. “I was just patrolling and happened to see you, and noticed you were eating, and I… got curious? Why?”

“What do you mean why?” They stood and turned to face Spider-man, pulling a chocolate out of their bag to gesture with as they spoke. “Why chocolate? Why eat it as Venom when Eddie is surely just as capable? Why a moonlit picnic on the roof beneath the few stars strong enough to shine through the polluted sky of the city that never sleeps?”

“The, ah, the first one mainly.”

“It is a matter of nutrition. Our unique biology requires specific foods.” No need to mention what those nutrients were or how, exactly, they had found out about the need for those nutrients, of course.

“Oof, I understand that,” Peter commiserated. “I went from the appetite of a growing boy to the appetite of at minimum five growing boys.”

They hummed in acknowledgement, then the symbiote nudged Eddie to continue the conversation. Put on the spot, he did the first thing that came to mind.

“Would you like one?” He offered the miniature chocolate they’d been gesturing with, while the symbiote grumbled about sharing its precious chocolate. But it didn’t stop Eddie from tossing the candy to Peter.

“Oh my god this is amazing.”

“We know,” they agreed. They took the wrapper from Peter’s hand and tucked it into the plastic grocery bag they’d been putting their own trash into. For a moment, all they could hear were the sounds of the city around them: cars, people, the subway deep below.

“So were you going to patrol or…?” 

“We were going to tour the parks. Start in Cunningham, then traipse through Kissena, and end with the Botanical garden. Though we had considered continuing west to–”

“You’re just touring around Queens?” Spider-man interrupted.

Ah, it seemed Spider-man didn’t approve. “We do not just do anything together. We’ve yet to see these gardens and we thought it would be more courteous to do so at night.” A sour thought occurred to Eddie. “We will not purposefully cause any trouble.”

“No! I just, I assumed you were… patrolling for crime?” 

“Of course, we will apprehend any ne'er-do-wells we encounter, but our primary goal is pleasure.”

A sigh gusted from Peter. “It sounds nice.”

“You are welcome to join.” The symbiote nudged Eddie into inviting their former foe. He supposed it wasn’t that far off from the fresh start he’d prompted not twenty-four hours ago. “Things should be calmer after last night’s supervillain take down.”

Spider-man actually considered their offer, looking up in thought for a moment. “I can’t. I’ve already promised I’d help out in Manhattan.” Peter paused, tapped his finger against his chin. “But if you were up for it we could check out the World’s Fair Grounds sometimes? Like next week maybe?”

“We’d be delighted.”

It always makes me laugh to think of Spiderman being disgusted by seeing Eddie naked the first few times they fought, like:
