Low-Spoons Acts of Devotion to Lord Boethiah: Basic Self Care

You cannot carve your will upon the world if you feel like shit and don't take care of yourself. Well, you probably can if your will is that strong, but you'd be making it harder than it needs to be. When I say "basic self care" I don't mean taking a nap in soft blankies with your favorite show on in the background. I mean dragging yourself out of bed and taking out the trash, or doing the dishes, or just brushing your teeth or taking a shower. Of course whether or not you can physically do these things factors into it--if you're physically disabled and can't get out of bed then that's no failing of your own and you should not feel shamed for it. Lord Boethiah doesn't care for that, they would care about how else you take care of yourself. Maybe you need to ask someone to do your laundry, or help sitting up so you can scrub yourself off a bit. Whatever you do to make your life easier, despite the difficulty in it, is you using your own willpower to make you stronger, make your life better.

Anyways. I'm going to wrap this up and stop procrastinating on taking a shower so as not to be a hypocrite.

EDIT: Now that I'm clean, I'll elaborate some. Lord Boethiah is a Prince of overcoming your struggles. Having low energy, for whatever reason, can make tasks regarded as "basic" incredibly taxing and difficult. Performing them, in spite of difficulty, is fighting a battle in its own right. And victory is victory, no matter how easy some may regard your battle. Fight your battles in every way you can, resorting to whatever tricks you need--sit down in the shower, get a hand in cleaning a part of your room, whatever you need to do--and celebrate your victory when it comes. Because it will come. Perhaps not in a traditional way to an able bodied and neurotypical minority. But they aren't you, you aren't them, their fight is different than yours.

And treat yourself to something nice afterwards, if you can

My green alien look from a few weeks ago!! I'm really digging green right now which is funny, I used to hate it! So I've been wearing more green outfits lately. I also ended up really liking shapes for eyebrows and have been doing them a lot recently :3 The lipstick was fun too but I'm really not used to wearing it, I'm definitely a lipgloss only type of person. BUT it's cute, so I still wear it sometimes!
