Klara

Might try to make a competition out of the day. Just seeing who can woo the other. Of course she is very easy to please with flowers or candies.

Seriously you gift her with something and she just gasps before stating that she has something even better for you! She’s blushing the whole time though so it’s very cute.

Would like to go out with you to a fancier place for dinner. Just because it’s not something you really do every day and so she thinks this is a nice occasion. Secretly hopes that you’ll pay but she’s happy splitting the bill instead!

Klara would also like to just take a nice walk around the Isle of Armor with you. Both of your pokemon are out and running around, having a good time while you two just hold hands and enjoy each other’s company.

Melony

Melony is making lots of Valentine’s Cards for the other Gym Leaders as well as getting little candies to go with them. She would be more than happy if you’d help her with those too.

Absolutely makes sure to make you a card and really hopes you make her one as well. It’s just a really cute tradition that she enjoys.

She’d be really happy if you want to take her out on a date or anything. She wouldn’t want to do anything too fancy as she wants to enjoy her time with you, but she’s happy no matter what you two do.

Might want to bring Allister along. Just because she is her son and she’d like to spend time with the both of you. He probably wanders off at some point because you two do get real lovey, but it’s fine.

Oleana

Honestly wouldn’t want to do anything too fancy. If you send her flowers then she’ll have them in a vase on her work desk. Might write you a Valentine’s Card in her really nice handwriting.

I can see her being gifted chocolates from her boss, which she’ll share with you later.

Not too big on Valentine’s Day. If anything, it just adds more paperwork on her desk because everyone wants to do something grand for the holiday.

If you do get her something like a stuffed pokemon or a cute present then she’ll take it, state she’ll put it on her desk, and then hides her blush when she turns around to go put it somewhere safe.

Honey/Mustard

These two have been together for so long but Valentine’s Day still lets them continue to fall in love with each other.

Due to running the Dojo together, they might not be able to really have a nice date night but there are many compliments and lovestruck looks shared between them as they go about the day.

Mustard would try to get her some flowers while she makes him some nice chocolates. It’s very cute as they want to surprise the other and end up both getting gifts.

They would also try to make cards or get candies for their disciples at the Dojo too. Just something to thank them for their hard work, but also because it’s a holiday and they should have fun!

OLEANA... she’s tired when she walks into your shared bedroom but as soon as she sees you dolled up for her she’s invigorated. immediately her poker face is back up as she slides her lab coat off her shoulders seductively, never breaking eye contact with you. you were so beautiful and she wanted nothing more to pin the image of you like this in her mind forever.

she instructs you to lay back for her, as she comes closer and hovers over you, hands ghosting over your thighs, snapping the straps of your garter so she can hear you whimper as they hit your skin. “doll, if you would’ve told me you’d be dressed like this…” she trails off, her hungry expression doing more to tell you what she means than any words can. she presses her lips to yours, leaving you with a sloppy, open-mouthed kiss, before pulling back, her lipstick smudged on your lips. “on your hands and knees, be good for me, won’t you?” and she stands up, leaving you waiting for her to return.

ROSE... he bought the lingerie specifically for you of course, it just came in a little earlier than expected so you decide to surprise him. it’s late when he comes home, but upon seeing you he’s immediately shrugging off his coat to give you some loving. “you look even better in that then i imagined, love. were you lonely waiting up for me? let me make it up to you.”

his hands are all over you, as if he’s trying to commit the way you feel to memory, lips first claiming your own in a hungry kiss before trailing down, worshiping every inch of your skin. he lived to make you feel good, and now is no different. he doesn’t want to ruin your lingerie, instead of pulling it off he slides the babydoll chemise down so that he can have access to all of you.

LEON... leon was seemingly always busy with his duties as a champion, and you were feeling a little lonely because of it. it’s not that you didn’t understand his job required a lot of him, you did, but it was only natural to miss him. when he had texted you that he was coming to visit you, you knew instantly that you had to give him a little surprise for working so hard. sonia had helped you pick it out the week before, and you figured there was no better time to try it on then now.

he doesn’t really know how to react when he sees you lounging on your bed, dressed in lace with his champions coat draped loosely over your shoulders. leon sputters, the tips of his ears turning red as his brain works to catch up to his racing heart. you stifle back a laugh getting up and pulling him towards your bed. leon is easily pulled with you, preferring when you took the reins, anyways. he’s able to regain his composure a bit when you straddle his lap, his hands instinctively coming to your hips and stroking the soft skin there. “you... wow you’re so beautiful i-- arceus i love you.”

RAIHAN... he was the type to always send revealing selfies -- especially shirtless pictures of him at the gym flexing to impress you. you decide to get a little payback by sending you a picture of you in lingerie (leaving the shuppetchat picture captionless). he opens it while he’s training in the wild area, and immediately after reading it he sends you a quick “be there in ten” and calls a corviknight taxi to come pick him up, his mind (and hormones) racing.

as soon as he arrives at your place, he’s kicking off his shoes and pulling off his hoodie, intent on seeing you as quickly as possible. you look a bit shocked at how fast he got there but those pictures really made him needy. his hands are on you, leaning down so he can kiss you once, twice, then a third time. he pushes you up against the wall gently, caging you there with his body. a toothy grin is on his face as his eyes take in the sight of you, the picture you sent did a lot for him but arceus were you like an angel to him in real life: “babe you can’t tease me like that... not without me getting a little payback for what you did...” he says as his cold hands wander lower...

rosehip tea; how romantic are they? how do they show affection?

( ⚜ ) for rose, making sure you’re comfortable in the relationship is his top priority. in public, he typically won’t act romantic at all--and probably will try to keep your romantic relations very discreet (you know. popularity things). in private, though, he’ll melt like putty in the palms of your hands. rose adores his s/o, no matter who they may be. his main form of showering his partner in affection is through highly expensive gifts (which you’ve chided him multiple times not to waste on you). if you prefer just staying in bed with him nestled into his side, he’s perfectly okay with that, too.

( ⚜ ) oleana is...far from romantic. imo, she’s super embarrassed when it comes to showing affection to her s/o, and she’s a bit afraid that she’s going to do something wrong. so in her mind, the best thing to do is to leave it up to her s/o to decide if they want her to show affection or not. farther into the relationship, if you give her enough courage, oleana is clingy and affectionate as fuck. like rose, she’ll shower you with gifts--both handmade, and...expensive ones.

chai tea; how do they spice up their relationship?

( ⚜ ) one time, rose suggested that the both of you go canoeing during your honeymoon. you reluctantly agreed, confused by the strange suggestion. ...during the entire canoe ride, threats of divorce were yelled at least 68 times.

( ⚜ ) once you come home from work and such, oleana will greet you with a warm smile. she’ll hug you from behind, nuzzling her face into the crook of your neck, and ask how your day was. oleana likes to try new things with you, like learning a new language, learn how to cook something, et cetera et cetera.

Headcanons for a Ballet School!AU for Sword and Shield characters.

Because I can and no one will stop me MWA HA HA

Some bits may be ooc, I didn’t want this to be angst but fluff and wholesome material.

Staff

- Chairman Rose is now Headmaster Rose of the Rose Ballet School. He always encourages the students to do their best in competition, but without hurting themselves. He wants his school to be recognized as the best in the world, but he cares. A lot.

- When Rose watches his students dance during competitions or do their annual ballet for friends and families at the school, he always ends up crying like a proud uncle/father.

- Teachers are: Opal and Magnolia, both former star ballerinas. They were rivals in their young days, but now they sip tea together whenever possible.

- Opal mostly takes care of the younger pupils, whilst Magnolia teaches the pas-de-deux to the older ones.

- Oleana is also a teacher. She’s the one who actually shows how to do the most difficult positions, and gives night lessons on demand for those who think they need more exercising.

- Kabu teaches the male dancers. He sometimes gives small speeches about how one must respect their partner and take care of them.

- He sounds almost too romantic for the boys and they’re all slightly flustered and awkward by the end of it every time.

- The four of them are strict but kind, each in their own ways.

- Melony is the one in charge of making the costumes. Once in a while, her son Gordie comes to help her.

- They do bicker about designs, but they always end up with beautiful garments for everyone.

- Milo takes care of everything happening in backstage, be it the decors, the lights, the music, everything.

- The staff members helping him are a mix of Yell grunts and League staff. They’re like a little found-family of their own.

Older students

- Leon is the best dancer of the school. He is strong enough to hold his partners up in the air and his form and technique are top-tier, whether he dances adagio or allegro. Thus, he more than often gets the main role.

- His rival in the allegro is Raihan. He’s the best at holding his partners, but his solo movements are far more dynamic, almost brute-ish.

- He loves doing the bad guy’s part, though, so he doesn’t mind his rivalry with Leon.

- Surprisingly enough, Piers is also a great dancer. Although he can’t hold his partner up for much time, his body is very flexible and he’s the best at doing cambrés. He prefers the slow adagios over anything.

- Need someone for a sad, nostalgic solo? Leave it to him.

- But don’t tell Piers he’s got fans besides his younger sister. He would blue-screen.

- Nessa and Sonia are best friends. They applied together at the school years ago when they were still kids.

- They both dance beautifully, but Nessa is more of a solo dancer whereas Sonia loves doing pas-de-deux with anyone.

Younger students

- Hop and Bede are rivals, obviously.

- Hop wants to be as great as his big bro, but he’s scared he’ll never be good enough when doing pas-de-deux.

- Leon keeps encouraging him and saying he sees improvement in his form and technique each time he sees Hop dance.

- Bede having the “prince charming flare” (Opal’s words) doesn’t help Hop with his self-confidence, though.

- But Bede isn’t perfect either, and he much rathers having the stage all to himself than having to share it with a partner.

- He loves being the flamboyant villain against prince Hop. But he won’t ever admit it.

- Marnie is talented. She’s graceful and calm, even when alone on stage.

- But ohh boii is she a nervous wreck when backstage.

- She doesn’t show it at all, but it just radiates from her. And it stops once the lights are on her.

- Piers is so proud.

- Allister and Bea are the youngest recruits.

- Bea needs to learn how to smile more when dancing, but she’s getting there.

- All the girls keep encouraging her and saying she already has a beautiful dance style of her own.

- Allister is so shy.

- Although he was able to warm up to everyone in the school, he just can’t stand the idea of dancing on stage with people watching him.

- Rose had the idea of giving him small roles who could use masks on stage. Hence why Allister often ends up being the villain’s right-hand man, who is either Bede or Raihan.

Gloria/Victor/Protag/OC/Reader

- Gloria and Victor would be part of the younger students, anyway.

- Any OC or self-insert could be part of either group, according to their age.

- You can work from there to make any ship interaction you wish to see.

Bonus (potential ship interactions, non-exhaustive list)

- Once or twice a month, the teachers get together with all of the students, and everyone spends the day training however and with whomever they want.

- Every staff member is also invited to watch, and also give ballet a try, just for fun and laughs.

- Sonia’s Yamper is running everywhere like the happiest puppy ever, being petted and getting scratches by absolutely everyone.

- These “special lessons” are also the best occasions to dance with your lowkey crush.

- If Hop has a crush on someone, you bet Leon will tease him about it. Even more so if he sees Hop and his crush dancing together.

- But if Leon has a crush, Hop will retaliate.

- Bede will be a tsundere to his crush. As will Marnie, potentially.

- Raihan and Milo are complimenting Piers in a corner. Piers is a blushing mess.

- If Pier’s crush comes then and compliments him in any way, about any thing, he will die.

- Raihan will totally ask his crush for a dance. A friendly dance between friends.

- Bede and Raihan start a rivalry over who’s the best villain.

- When they ask Allister, he just plays with his mask and says they’re both great and he admires them, because they’re so flamboyant on stage.

- Hence Bede getting slightly flustered and both kids getting bear-hugged by a proud and happy Raihan.

- Kabu and Oleana give a bonus lesson on the pas-de-deux with a demo. Everyone claps in genuine admiration at their expertise.

- Kabu then announces the special pas-de-deux lesson that will now occure.

- The young boys have to help the older girls reach as low as possible while doing one of the most iconic poses of the Nutcracker without falling. The young girls get lifted into the air by the older boys.

- Now imagine who gets flustered by doing the exercise with whom.

- I mean, obviously all of the kids are being kind of shy at this point, moreso if it’s their first time helping or being helped by the older students.

- But have an example with Postwickshipping : Hop is helping Sonia, when Gloria comes and says “I want to do that with Hop, too...” with a small pout. And Hop almost lets Sonia fall. Or he does. Whatever rocks your boat.

- Want an example with some Piers x Reader ? Alright ; Piers is lifting Marnie up, both smiling because yay, nice siblings interaction is nice, while you approach and look at them with a small smile. Piers lets Marnie down, cue to you sighing and then saying “You’re so lucky you have such a strong, kind and beautiful big brother, Marnie”. Marnie smirks, because she knows what you’re doing, but Piers... he just becomes red.

- After the annual show for friends and families, all of the school members gather and have a wholesome afterparty. Any participant who wishes to may come up with a little choreography (or any kind of performance) and show it to everyone.

- Nessa and Sonia do a pas-de-deux together, with a choreography based on the concept of Yin and Yang. It’s so beautiful you could cry.

- Piers and Marnie sing a peaceful song they wrote together. He also plays the acoustic guitar as accompaniment.

- Bede chants poetry on Opal’s request.

- Hop and Leon rap together. It may be a song specifically done to ask someone out.

- Who am I kidding. Any of the performances could be used to ask someone out.

Notes: I thought I've done some headcanons for Oleana in the past but I guess not >.< I'm happy to write this though!!

Oleana

It's a very quick kiss honestly. You're almost questioning if it really happened because she's already back to business mode. The only give away is her slightly flushed face.

Physical affection isn't really her thing so a first kiss really is more of a peck. She'd much rather show her affection with compliments and praise.

So the kiss feels a bit cold too, just because there's not a whole lot to it. She cares about you, she does, she's just a very busy woman and has a lot to do.

She will send you flowers later as an apology or get you a pastry you like.

UPDATE ON THE NEW CHAPTERS

What's up guys?!

I bring good news, for indeed I'm about to wrap up this chapter! And boy, it's a lengthy one alright. I've got 3 small little scenes left to write, and i'm currently at... 25'853 words. Yep. By the time I finish this beast I expect it to be around 32K or more. So don't say you haven't been warned

Now then, a little teaser... I promised a lot of Raihan's spice, and goodness gracious I sure have delivered! Also Rose is back, and with even more chilling interactions. Who else is back? If you've guessed himbo!Leon you were right! The dork will be back, but not everything will go as planned... you say, angst is part of my life on a daily basis and I like to hurt my readers... KIDDING, i'm kidding

chairman rose:

his suit and tie looks RIDICULOUS on you. it’s so big and falls off one shoulder: you end up looking like a kid wearing their dad’s tux. his pants won’t even fit so you don’t bother trying to put them on, and his tie hangs around your neck (you can do that fancy knot only when he’s wearing it -- when you try to do it on yourself it’s almost impossible). but of course just as you’re laughing about how ridiculous it looks on you, in comes your boyfriend...

he freezes, giving you a good once over. it’s obvious by the way he looks at you, cheeks dusted lightly red that he likes what he sees. the moment is ruined the moment he opens his mouth and says: “hello rose nice to meet you, i’m also rose!” you have to resist the urge to headbutt him as his dad jokes get worse by the day.

rose doesn’t mind you borrowing his clothes at all, he just prefers to get them in your size so they’re not falling off you in public (in private it’s fine but...). it’s a big ego boost to see you in his clothes, and so he’d get them tailored just for you. you’re so cute that sometimes he can’t help but pinch your cheek and kiss you on the forehead... oleana is like “please stop with the PDA chairman” so he just has her stand in front of y’all so people can’t see (but they know). + leon sees you both walking arm in arm outside in his “incognito outfit” and is like “oh god there’s two of them”.

oleana:

you first tried putting it on just to see how it all fits together. a sleeveless collared shirt with a dress over top, tucked into a skirt with a lab coat to top it all off -- you weren’t going to question her fashion choices when she looked so good in it. she has a small frame so it fits nicely, just a little long due to her height. oleana hears you shuffling around in her room from her office, and after sitting there curious for thirty minutes, comes in and checks on you.

she crosses her arms, staring at you incredulously: “what are you doing?”. oh shoot she caught you, you turn around and wave sheepishly at her, explaining that you’ve always wanted to try on her outfit because it was so cute on her! oleana rolls her eyes, crossing the room and wrapping her arms around you, her chin resting on your shoulder, “i think you’d look much cuter out of these clothes though”, she teases.

after nearly passing out at her teasing, she notices that you have part of it put on wrong, the choker piece she wears goes under both the dress and the collared shirt. this is both an excuse for her to get her hands underneath your clothes and to show you how to put it on correctly. however, once it’s just her choker harness and your underwear on, even she can’t resist teasing you just a little bit more.

bede:

take his big purple jacket. mans would literally combust but at the same time still has some of those tsun roots left over like: “y-you look stupid give me that back” while his face is 30 shades of red. he doesn’t actually want it back, he just doesn’t know what else to say.

you like coming to all his gym matches if you can to cheer him on, and when you do you always wear his big purple overcoat with the replica of his gym uniform underneath. he can always hear your voice in the crowd because you’re always in the front row. it really distracts him in battle when he looks over and sees you, he turns red all the way up to his ears while his hatterene is on the battlefield like “not this shit again”.

after the battle, you come to congratulate bede on his win and you can already see that he’s flustered. his pale complexion does nothing to cover his pink cheeks, and he does his best not to make eye contact, hoping you won’t see. you run up to him, giving him a hug and pinching his cheeks, telling him how good he did during the battle. bede is trying his best not to explode, he shyly grabs your hand and meets your eyes, his own shining purple: “you looked really cute cheering me on... thank you”, his voice is quiet and for once he’s the one flustering you.

piers:

piers is lanky his jackets have to be made specially made for him just so they fit his arms. whenever you steal them out of his closet, they fall over your hands by a few inches. piers always gets a good laugh out of how adorable you look, telling you that he’s sure he has a smaller one lying around from when he was just a challenger. he does, and it’s small on you, just when did this man hit his growth spurt?

he’ll give you one of his uniforms if you want to wear it, it smells like him -- both a good and bad thing -- he smells like sweat and axe body spray. he also has hundreds of extra uniforms laying around because not many challengers bother with his gym. it kind of gets him down but seeing you in one always makes his heart skip a beat. ESPECIALLY if you’re cheering him on!! he’s used to team yell’s cheers but somehow yours always stand out in the crowd, giving him extra strength.

honestly he’s prone to stealing some of your clothes. he really doesn’t pay much attention to what he’s wearing if he’s not taking on challengers. it’s not a rare sight to see you with piers’s outfit on and him wearing your shorts (they look like booty shorts on him) and t-shirt.

bede:

he’ll be super upset at first. bede has abandonment issues and so to him, this is just you giving an excuse to leave him. he’ll sulk around, ignoring your texts and calls for the first few weeks you’re gone. opal has to knock him over the head a few times after he makes mistakes in battle because he’s so upset.

though, he’s very easy to win over once you come back. one hug from you and he’s melting into your arms, tears threatening to spill as he calls you so many mean names, despite being unbelievably happy that you’re back.

it gets better after the first time, after being the proof of you coming back reassures him that no, you’re not leaving him forever. he texts you a lot when he’s free, rambling on about his day and occasionally complaining about gym challengers (and hop).

if he has time off from his gym, he’ll occasionally fly over to visit you when he gets a bit lonely. you’re his favorite person and he misses you SO much when you’re not there. + “i-it’s not like i came all the way here for you or anything... j-just wanted to see what it’s like in unova.. ‘s all...”

oleana:

she understands the feeling. if she could, she’d do just the same to you. but unfortunately for her, she’s bound to her work and sense of responsibility to the chairman. oleana supports you, though, and would happily send you off each time you leave.

doesn’t often have time to call or text, but when she does, it reinvigorates her. something about seeing you happy and free doing what you love most warms her heart like nothing else can.

does get lonely from time to time. you’re really the only person who understands her, and not having you by her side makes her pine for you. hearing your voice over the rotomphone isn’t anything the same as holding you in her arms. she misses the physical contact much more than she thought she would.

when you do get back, rose always gives her the day off (despite her protests). oleana will be hard-pressed to let you go the whole day, her listening to the new stories of your travels while humming contentedly. she could listen to you talk all day and never once complain.

silver:

like bede, he has abandonment issues, but unlike bede he’s not honor bound to his region in any way. of course, he wants to be stronger, but after losing the championship match he really has no sense of purpose. he wants to get stronger, but is staying in johto really the best thing for that? that he wants to know.

he decides on a whim to accompany you on your escapades into other regions. he finds that he can strengthen himself all the while watching you be your happiest self. it’s something he wouldn’t trade for the world.

when you two are apart, like when he goes back to johto to stay, he tries to take his mind off of things by throwing himself into training extra, not giving himself many breaks. his mind will start wandering to you and then he’ll find that he’s gone soft which he does not want to think about.

though, when you get back, ethan would tease silver on just how happy he looks (even though his face still looks stoic). silver tries to deny it, but he can’t. he’ll pull you into his arms, rubbing your back as he whispers into your ear “welcome home”.

oleana is a SUCKER for sweet, cute people. you bound over to her while she’s working at her desk with a plate of cookies you made for her, a wholesome smile on your face and her heart is racing. her normally flat demeanor cracks for a bit, a smile quirking on her lips as she mutters out a quiet ‘thank you’. she wishes she had said more, but couldn’t think of anything that wouldn’t make her sound hopeless.

for all of her smarts and talents, she is HOPELESS when it comes to romance. besides a few flings, she’s never had anything solid — never really had the time either. she daydreams about h*lding h*nds with cute girls but when it comes to confessing? well...

she takes to watching over your duties at rose’s company personally. she knows what time your lunch break is and will stop by if not just to say hi (her schedule is insanely busy). if she does have time, she’ll sit down and chat with you. you both awkwardly talking about your days. oleana gets home and rams her head against the walls like “WHY DID I SAY THAT WHY AM I NOT SMOOTH AROUND CUTE GIRLS AHHHH”.

rose is even able to notice that she’s out of it, noticing how she doodles pictures of you in the margins of her papers and notes. rose offers to help with her love dillema, he does see her as almost a sister of his, but she declines, mortified on the inside knowing what lengths he goes to when it comes to romance.

it will take a while for her to work up the nerve to confess to you. no matter how many times she plans out her speech, her seeing your bright smile makes her MELT and forget what she was saying. she’ll have to still her racing heart, face setting back to her usual cold stare before asking you like: “...do you want to get coffee with me sometime?”. when you tackle her into a hug, grin wide as you accept her offer, she feels SO happy.

are you ready to be SPOILED? treated absolutely RIGHT? rose is the richest man in galar and oleana, by extension, makes quite a bit too. it doesn’t take long for him to invite you to live with him in his penthouse and boy is it the nicest thing you’ve ever seen. rose will 100% get you anything you ask for, while oleana just shakes her head: “you’re spoiling them too much, don’t you think?”.

since they have such a busy schedule, it’s easy to feel left out of the loop. rose always teases that he’s not above pulling a few strings to get you working by their side, and oleana remarks that that’s highly inappropriate. though oleana always makes sure to schedule in time to spend with you into their calendar, cancelling meetings she doesn’t deem “important” to have extra time to spend with you.

on the flipside, sometimes they overwork themselves, rose often falling asleep in his office when oleana is out running errands (so he has no one to wake him up). you usually find him passed out, and urge him to come to bed -- he’s stubborn with most things, but he usually can’t resist a request from you. oleana comes home to find you two sleeping in each others arms and smiles naturally, crawling into bed and wrapping her arms around you.

oleana is very reserved with her affection, especially physical touch. she has a reputation to upkeep after all. though, praise from her is genuinely the best feeling, as she means it with all her heart. she loves it when your cheeks flush, whenever you two are alone together, she is more open to teasing and loves to do so. often pulls you into her lap, passionately kissing you until you’re needy for her, then pulls away, saying that she has something that she needs to do. waiting for her and rose to come back has never felt so long, but when they do they make sure to take care of you.

rose, on the other hand, is open with his affection. when exploring galar, you two are often spotted walking arm and arm with oleana leading you both around. no matter how much you tell oleana you have two hands, she remarks that someone needs to lead the way, lest you two get everyone lost. whenever rose sneaks a kiss in public, oleana flicks you both in the head like “hey, don’t goof off we’re here to do important stuff”... rose quickly makes a dad joke: “huh, didn’t know [name] changed their name to ‘important stuff’”. oleana doesn’t get paid enough for this.
