How these past two months have changed me.

I have not been on this thing in what probably feels like forever. I don’t even know if anyone even follows me anymore. It’s been one hell of a emotional rollercoaster.

 My friends and family know that recently I have been diagnosed with PCOS. In fact, I had self-diagnosed myself with PCOS before going to the doctor thanks to google, but was officially diagnosed September 8. Which September happens to be PCOS awareness month. Go me! Anyway, I have always had an irregular period ever since I can remember. Stress, diet, unhealthy lifestyle would cause me to miss my period for months, and I knew for a fact I wasn’t even remotely close to being pregnant. I was on birth control, and that helped but I was one of those who got sensitive to BC pills and ended up having a blood pressure of 160/110, and yeah that was a no go. Fortunately I was able to get my diet/weight stabilized and was pretty regular..up until recently. 

I was back to not having my period for months at a time. As well as gaining a ton of weight, growing all these facial hair, and was moody as all hell. Literally, I could cry on queue. Then august of these year I got my period, and it was cool pretty normal from what I remember. Cramps, cravings, bloat. Then it stopped, then it came back the next week. And stopped, and came the next week after that. In which from August into September I had my period about 5 times. All lasting 4-5 days. That was not fun. I know a lot of PCOS symptoms are WITHOUT having a cycle, but I was consistently having mine. A close friend of mine had the exact symptoms and was diagnosed and thats when I knew I had to check. Two blood test, an ultrasound, and $1000 in medical bills later. I HAVE PCOS ( in my right ovary, lefty is chillen). 

So with that said I am trying, my absolute hardest to not stress myself out as much for that causes hormone imbalances, as well as to eat a clean whole diet. And as much as I am sad about it, in a way its a bitter blessing. It opened my eyes to really working on taking my health back, both physically and mentally. I want to know if there are any support pages here on tumblr that can be used as an outlet? or something where us women can get together and just relate?

It's taken me a few days to climb out of that cave and realign my mind. Praying the diagnosis of a cyst on my breast is wrong. Having that nightmare of reliving all the ones I suffered from in high school with a staph infection to boot. We are praying for healing mercies. I go for my mammogram on April 10th and then I see my doctor on April 17th to get the results to see where I am with my anemia and more tests. These 3 products have become some of my favorites! I take them daily and have been feeling much better then I have in years. I noticed that with consistency, everything is better! Women bloat more then me which leads to larger bellies. That also means more work for getting it off.
