i dont know if i should say this, but i really wished that the space arc lasted way longer.

i wished that fugitoid's betrayal was a lot more impactful, the turtles (besides donnie) didn't share much connections with him. leo's anger during earth's last stand doesn't make much sense since they've barely developed a 'bond' together. maybe if leo at first didn't trust him and they worked their way up more while leo finally accepts fugitoid's friendship (maybe like they have a whole episode about it) and then the big secret finally happens then it would be a lot more emotional, heck even replace leo with donnie.

also more episodes where the guys are just in space and do silly things instead of just going up against triceritons 24/7 one way or another. i want MORE raph and mona please

Judging SPN Seasons By How Messy It Would Be If Sam And Dean Started Having Sex

Season 1: freshly reunited. no one else in their world but them. they are obsessed with each other. they would fuck like feral dogs and it would make them so much worse. also dad is there. unspeakably messy. 12/10

Season 2: dad just died. the grief sex would be more tears than come and at least one of them is probably saying johns name mid fuck. dean might have to kill baby brother (TM) and so the obvious reaction to this would be extremely possessive sex. sam would not like that attitude (with the one exception of if it happens when hes drunk in playthings). messy in even grosser but marginally less feral ways than szn one. 13/10

Season 3: milder. still obsessed with each other but more settled into it now. deans turn to maybe die and sams turn to be uber-doober possessive about it. unlike sam, dean would be extremely into that. and his deal is comin due so he might as well. sad and tragic,, but not that messy. probably still more tears than come. 6/10

Season 4: dean just came back from hell to find sam fucking his new demon girlfriend. the angels are there. they're still hunting but Stuff Is Going On and god knows they need to be grounded with each other to make it through. sex would probably help. would do the opposite than make things messier. would be vicious. definite chance dean might try to feed sam his blood. 4/10

Season 5: apocalypse fuck. oh fuck. ruby is dead. angels and death and demons and god and destiny. sam and dean are the most experienced and secure theyve ever been and yet. the whole damn world is about to explode. and yet they are still tortured and annoyed by the goofy everday hunting horrors. fucking would be nice for them, would remind them they belong to each other. they think theyre gonna die so the consequences wouldnt matter a whole lot. less insulated and worried about holy judgment so the incest thing may be a bother now. 2/10

Season 6: you fuck your brother but its not your brother he's different in ways you cant explain but you havent seen him in months and you thought you lost him and hes not quite right but fuck he looks like him and talks like him and knows everything about the two of you and he fucks like a greek god and hes mean as a motherfucker in bed but you can take it its fine its worth it its sam godammit-

Season 7: stranded up the creek without even a twig for a paddle. both brothers are destroyed and traumatised and forcing each other forward by force of necessity and a brotherly hand on the back of the neck. at least its just them alone together (dean please ignore the hallucination of lucifer sitting in the corner and judging our cock size-). sex would go terribly and be the most unsexy sex ever sexed. but they would probably like the closeness if sam could handle it. messy but wouldnt ruin them long term. there would be a terrible Dick joke. 8/10

Season 9: less than ideal with sam possessed by and angel. dean is rocking with the guilt and confliction. the mark of cain is also making him a bit feral again. theyre safe together in the bunker but thats already claustrophobic enough sex might just suffocate them both. pretty messy. 7/10

Season 10: your big brother is an angry angry man but its not his fault right??? its because of the mark right?? he cant control it and you love him and you want to stay in the safe house/bunker/tomb with him you dont want to leave anymore and you need him. youve both been through enough. you deserve this. there would be minimal messiness caused by sex with your brother rn. exception to those few weeks where he was a demon. 2/10

Season 11: gods sister is here and its the apocalypse again. dean hates what he has with Her. at least his sammy is here. at least theyre together. still crazy about each other. gay incest sex is the most reasonable reaction. god might find out- but then again, he and his sister are pretty wacked out together too, and are we not made in gods image?. 1/10

Season 12: Mom is here and so is lucifer and his kid and also the cunt ass brits. not ideal. minimal messiness so long as no one finds out. and fuck all them anyway its pretty clear sam and dean can only ever really trust each other. sex would be affirming and safe here. they are absolutely fucking in the kitchen to the smell of toast and coffee. dean discovers he has an std because no its not normal that your balls have iched like that for the past four years you need to go to a doctor and dean i swear on the impala if you gave it to me- . 3/10

i just finished hcpc and i really enjoyed it !!!!!! its not going to be some kind of deep analysis i just gonna be silly about things i like in hcpc

THE CHARACTERS i adore each and every one of them (except for namakeruda i wanna punch him with lovely punching punch)

MEGUMI CHAAAN shes so precious to me !!!! so pure so truly lovely her desire to make everyone happy is so heartwarming megumichan always puts a smile on my face whenever shes on screen ^^

i saw people thinking shes mary sue but i cannot agree :c for me marysue is a character so perfect that theyre unbelievable (!)

and megumi IS believable to me . people like megumi do exist,,,,, and she has more serious flaws than being clumsy and bad at studying;

shes all about helping others but cares about herself little, when shes suffering her pain is hidden behind a smile to the point she can't resist her pain anymore, she worries about being weak and her help is not needed - altruistic people like megumi often experience this feelings too

also she reminds me of my fav person </3 and she motivates me to become a better person myself and believe in love and happiness,,, sorry it sounded cheesy but its true.. thank you megumi ^^

hcpc is often criticized for its repetitive designs and i sorta agree... but at least they were creative with international cures designs (aloha and bomber girls are my favourite, also im glad to see a cure from my country !!!! cure katyusha <3) and form changes AND FOREVER LOVELY DESIGN JUST SLAYS. SHE LOOKS LIKE A LITERAL ANGEL

also maybe theres a meaning behind the similar designs??? like, all the cures all over the world have similar costumes and it can symbolize they have a lot in common, theyre unite, they are a million-cure team .. while the phantom generals are all different, there's nothing uniting them, there's no team spirit or friendship between them

also the soundtrack is so good and catchy !!!!! i adore the opening and the rice song (and especially honey and hosshiwa's song battle) and the innocent song !!!!

i love the message of hcpc that everyone is worthy to be happy and loved, even if youre in deep despair, disappointed in life, thinking you'll never be loved and thus love is worth nothing - someone is always going to be here for you

but at the same time it points out that love can be a destructive force (red, mirage, dark seiji), that its impossible to be happy all the time, that feeling pain and hate is valid

ah this ones fun!

ok so i took a few artistic liabilities lol i played round with ages a bit. korkie is obi wans son, but only by birth and obi wan was unaware that he knew. in satines eyes korkie didnt need a father (the story goes in to this a bit, its a very mandalorian perspective, which is fun)

the theme of this fic is:

He was a good man but he wasn't a good father

and

He wasn't a good man but he was a good father

the story begins post order 66. Korkie and Boba meet each other when theyre both doing bounty hunter esque work. korkie saves boba and they end up bonding and form this weird partnership/friendship based around the fact that they are both teenagers coming to terms with the fact that their fathers left them in this mess and now theyre having to fend for themselves in a fucked up galaxy.

theres a contrast between how the other adults in korkies life saw his birth father not being involved (and how they expected him to see it) and how korkie, raised pretty isolated from traditional mandalorian culture, and with satines death and the start of the empire, left to fend for himself when he's still a kid really. pretty much. everyone expected korkie to be fine with it and saw obi wan as nothing more than a sperm donor really, and korkie is very much not fine with obi wans absence and does not see him this way. he projects a lot of his anger towards how things have turned out and the galaxy he's now living with on to obi wan.

at the same time, boba is 15 in this. life has been tough for him these past few years and he's begun to feel kind of bitter towards jango for dying and leaving him in this mess (its a very 15 year old perspective, and he finds korkie at JUST the right time to encourage it. otherwise i think that boba would get over that pretty quickly and return to the idolisation of canon)

theyre working togethr and they wind up on tattoine for a job. korkie is heading through a market and hears someone mention 'ben kenobi' and he's like. surely not. no way. korkie ends up finding obi wan who in this au is living with luke raising him himself. korkie argues with him and then storms off and he and boba fly off. theres then a perspectibe switch, we see that obi wan who was unaware korkie even knew who he was is pretty surprised, and then shock! none other than jango steps outside of obi wans house, making a sarky remark about korkie, just in time for obi wan to call him a hypocrite.

jango is not dead. he has just left boba to fend for himself believing that his father is dead, and bizzarely has ended up bumming off obi wan of all people. it started after obi wan stumbled on jango in cryro after the war and reluctantly resuced him, then jango never left. obi wan and jango's relationship in this is so fun. theyre such prickly arseholes to each other. but they keep the other around all the same.

boba and korkie do some more jobs while korkie thinks about obi wan (angrily). korkie ends up doing some research on luke and thanks to his inside knowledge, works out just who he is. then, completely coincidentally, they end up running in to leia whos been kidnapped. they save her. but before they return her, korkie figures out who she is and gets really angry at obi wan again, as he feels its pretty unforgivable to split a pair of twins like that. he goes back to tattoine with her to confront obi wan (the decision making in this fic is bizzare. you have to remember at all times that korkie and boba are traumatised teenagers and jango and obi wan are weirdos). this time boba comes with korkie to visit obi wan, jangos presence is revealed, and obi wan has a bit of a break down over the fact that his teenage son has kidnapped a princess after obi wan didnt pay him enough attention.

boba and korkie think its outrageous to keep the twins seperated and arent really willing to listen to jango or obi wan at this point. but theyre eventually convinced that the twins cant be together because of the empire as it isnt safe. at which point they kind of shrug and go. right then. time for the 4 of us to bring down the empire then i suppose

proto gets along with CB and Bubbles a lot better than with Flora, since cb and bubbles actually follow their orders and plans, even before theyre promoted to captain. flora obeys them even less after theyre promoted, for the record

this is very obviously because theyre traumatised child soldiers who were conditioned by both the octarian military and the metro where you explode if you dont follow instructions, but proto manages to delude themselves into thinking it's bc the twins respect their leadership

the twins completely stop obeying them after splatoon 3. granted, they leave the NSS after splat3, but by that point flora and bola have managed to get them out of the "you gotta obey authority figures Or Else" mentality

also because uh. the twins got the rest of their mem cakes back LMAO they remember what proto and the squid sisters set in motion and are NOT happy. theyd be willing to forgive if they had apologised rather than hiding it and hoping the twins wouldnt find out but they didnt sooooo

bola HATES proto so goddamn much. theyve met in person maybe thrice. the first time was when octo expansion had just finished and the way proto was talking to these kids bola's age like they were soldiers rubbed them the wrong way. the second time, proto came across bola while they were stealing something and called the cops on them. the third time was when they came back from alterna and visited flora in the hospital. bola had to be physically restrained to stop them trying to bite out protos jugular. they got one good sucker-punch in at least

Pluto's "Lil' Buddy" is a Horrorboros called Leviathan's Flight over Verdant Pastures (she/her), or levi for short

(idk if that salmonid name makes sense, salmonid naming and rainworld iterator naming have blended together in my mind and i cannot separate them)

theyre actually older than proto! proto is 24 in splat3 and pluto is 27. proto doesnt know this because i think it should be a recurring character flaw that proto just randomly assumes people's ages and doesnt ask ever.

pluto straight up doesn't care about the NSS or proto's commands. they came down into the crater to scavenge, attacked octavio cause they wanted to tear apart and sell his mech, and is basically motivated by the same "i want the treasure" mindset as Deep Cut

unlike deep cut, they have a horrorboros as a partner. they dont fight deep cut so much as they launch booyah bombs until they yield

it's splatlands culture to fight people, shows that you respect them enough to consider them a threat, but also asserts that you're stronger than them and could kick their ass

they are Very offended when the NSS just start USING the treasure that THEY earned, especially when it gets so damaged by the fuzzy ooze that it's basically unsaleable. theres a dramatic moment of proto being like "why the hell are you mad we literally got this to save gramps" and pluto being like "WE??? kid you didnt do shit and i dont care about your grandpa. fuck off and let me do my thing"

the fight with grizz is VERY fast. if smallfry gets that big, what do you think happens to a horrorboros? the moon is permanently coated in salmonid-ink in a suspiciously booyah bomb shaped pattern. they take all the most valuable bits of the rocket to sell and dont even go back down to alterna

as far as they're concerned, they were never a member of the NSS, never wanted to be, and owe nothing to these presumptious assholes. theyve got better things to do than argue with some spoiled inkopolis kids

in this version of canon, deep cut respect pluto and levi (the ones who showed respect by fighting them for the treasure) over the NSS (the ones who stole the treasure for their own purposes without fighting or even issuing a challenge), so they decide that pluto and levi are their bosses instead

pluto groans when they find out. levi thinks it's hilarious

oh yeah i need actual context for pluto and levi not just redescribing the splat3 campaign

theyre both rogues, deliberately unaffiliated with any groups (shoals? schools?) of salmonids or any particular inkfish city. they were raised together with salmonids but levi didnt see any particular honour or value in getting killed and eaten so pluto suggested running away together

they make a living by scavenging in the splatlands and selling to people on the outskirts of splatsville which, in this canon, is a hell of a lot more chaotic than in-game

deep cut also have a lot more actual authority than "the idol group who announces the map changes" in this canon, which pluto is not above using to get them and levi unrestricted access in and out of the city. having minions has some benefits, they guess

idk if theyre ever gonna meet the leftovers squad. i honestly dont know if pluto would care about a random group of inkopolis teens unless i made some plot reason for them to. idk

Old AFN Plot Post

While I'm up I'm just gonna post this here, its the old plot bullet points along with explanations of behind the scenes stuff like I promised for new years!

If youre into that kinda thing then its below the cut, its mostly just screenshots of my first chapter drafts and me talking about stuff I kept and stuff I scrapped along with what I'm doing with the plot now (without spoilers ofc)

Here are some plot points I wanted for the cave era, I kinda wanted it to be a more forceful adoption with Techno fighting a few times but ultimately just falling into it.

At the time his character in my head was more apathetic towards things like this? Its kinda hard to explain but he was much more self focussed and less skrunkly.

That version of Techno fell back in favour of the traumatised and sad boy we have today! Phil was also meaner and kinda willing to toss Techno away in it and I just felt like an apathetic Techno and a meaner Phil wouldn't have stuck together like they needed to.

The ones above are the first ever drafts I did that I was just gonna add to and vibe with depending on wherever the story took me. I've unchecked the boxes for reading ability but you can see where I started to drift off from it.

Screenshots that I'm gonna post below are my second draft of the plot where we get Tommy at the village and then Wilbur at a later point in time. That was swapped so that Wil is first (for actual plot reasons) and then Tommy is last (for even more plot reasons).

It was also swayed by me being a based twinduo enjoyer and I love it when theyre both fucked up in their own ways. Its very fun now compared to the more heavy themes that the original plot had.

That Wilbur was a bit too dark and skrunkly, his plot felt like it would be resolved too quickly and he'd just kinda be dragged along rather than have his own stuff unfold as stuff progressed.

I'm currently reworking this version of the draft into what I have aligned in my head so its far enough removed that I'll share the later points that got scrapped!

Anyways that should be all the plot points, I'm expanding the story more soon into actually putting down stuff rather than having it knock around my head so who knows where its gonna fully take me.

I know the milestones, I know the plot points and I know the progression, its just writing those ideas down for me to chapter summarys and then turning them into actual chaps left.

I also have a draft somewhere linked to how the story actually ended up matching the song its based off of really well. Its just insane rambling about the characterisations and like a weird analysis of the plot so that might see the light of day too eventually.

these guys are(top to bottom) Taks and Buddy! theyre a part of my overcomplicated vld au 

the basic premise is that after the events of ‘the black paladins’ six shiro clones and a galran kid find themselves stranded on a unhabited planet, having to rely on eachother for survival. found family and shenanigans ensue!

Taks(its a placeholder name, i havent come up with anything good enough yet) is a smart and snarky 11(?) year old. she loves animals and can also be very a little competitive. shes also trans!(it takes her a while to figure it all out tho)

Buddy is..... a lot. he tries his best to distance himself both from the others and from his past as the black paladin of voltron - he didnt tell the others about the whole we’re-clones-of-takashi-shirogane thing for a long time.... at least not on purpose. he thinks hes sooo subtle and mysterious but really hes just kinda pathetic. (i WILL get more into him[and the other guys too!!] eventually, but right now im just butting down the basics)

taks has something of a one-sided rivalry with buddy - she doesnt like him(at least at first) and thinks hes annoying. and also shes bored. theres not a lot to do most of the time, so bullying a loser youre stuck with seems entertaining enough

buddy is too busy going trough all five stages of grief simultaneously to really notice her attempts tho

he also avoids her beacuse she reminds him of keith too much :/

buddy and taks actually have a lot in common - theyre both stubborn and can be quite dramatic - maybe thats the reason they butt heads so much...

they do love each other tho! buddy often takes the role of a weird uncle or an annoying older brother, and over time their rivalry slowly evolves into light-hearted teasing. they looove to team up and cause mayhem(to their family’s disdain)

buddy was actually the first person taks told about her struggles with gender!(buddy was NOT prepared to deal with that, but he supported her the best way a traumatised shell of a man can!)

who knows, maybe ill make a sideblog just for this story? theres just so much of this shit in my head i need to let it out somehow or itll consume me.
