YES. Thats it. This is how the industry should be. He should be able to express what hes feeling when and how he wants. Period. This goes for any idol or musican (and of course there are exceptions to safety or when there are serious moral doubts of the artists).

Of course there are the, well rare, times that the music industry has done its good for the artists within it, but when I think of said music industry, the first word that pops in my head might be expression, might be sharing, but it certainly isnt love (in the case of the idols/musicans), it isnt caring.

This is the sad truth that many of you know about the industry, and I only wish and pray that our boys and girls (and everyone inbetween) will come to be able express and share what they love within their music freely, without fear, without hate, without people belittling them for how these people feel.

They are HUMAN. Lets NEVER forget that.

small castlevania: curse of darkness headcanon i've been meaning to share:

i 100% believe hector and isaac collaborated on their innocent devil designs, which accounts for the variety you see in-game (and why they both have the same IDs in their arsenal, game logic aside)

but individually, they both have a very different approach to ID designs

isaac is from an accomplished family of sorcerors, steeped in knowledge of the dark arts since he was born. so it makes sense his IDs end up looking way more demonic and hellish, terrifying creatures that in no way resemble anything made by God. and y'know, it really just suits his whole edgy aesthetic lmao. but as a point of reference, his designs really lean into reptilian, draconic, or insectoid forms for all those angular shapes and otherworldly qualities. there's nothing soft or nice about them (but def have that "face only a father could love" vibe going on)

hector, on the other hand, has a fondness for animals, especially creatures of the night, and so his IDs are made in their image. but since so many of his animal companions as a child were chased away or outright killed for the crime of providing companionship, his IDs are made bigger, stronger, and more terrifying so no one would ever dare harm them, or him, again. leans towards the more mammalian side of things - recognizable as animals albeit very fucked up since he likes to mix and match characteristics

sorry to harp on this but uh. people not showing consideration for one tag is entirely not an excuse to make it worse for others? generally speaking i dont think a "least favorite character poll" is a good idea unless youre genuinely trying to just create the most toxic hellscape imaginable but the least you could do is not broadcast peoples insults to every character tag available. because at this point regardless of whos actually sending the asks you are kind of the problem here. its not even like its hard to not maintag people saying a character is the worst ever. its in fact very easy not to be a dick! sadly i think you may be a lost cause on this one all things considered but oh well. i hope you have fun with your blogging & i bid you adieu

There are definitely some similarities between the two families. Different in some ways, similar in others. I think in another reality Datee and Mrs Vienn would absolutely be friends. Thinking about that time when I was pressured into giving my testimony by not only my peers but also one of the religious leaders at my church even though I kept stating I didn't want to and was uncomfortable.

And then when I finally did, the testimony I told was about how I'd learned that not all Christians were good people and about how people had used god, Christianity, and their authority to hurt me and people I loved and how I was having to seperate the way they acted from the beliefs I held and then everyone looked at me like this:

I've finally cracked and I'm learning how to mod skyrim. My poor laptop doesn't deserve to suffer so I'm downloading the unofficial patch, and at most 10 mods....What made me crack was the repetitive dialogue ngl... BUT, this will NOT become like Stardew Valley where I have 350 mods and got really into it bc Skyrim is too... much work and possible issues for that

my computer should be fine to use until the replacement battery comes (on halloween hehe), the battery is bloaty but not too severely (images of battery bloat i found online were noticeably more engorged than mine) so as long as i dont play games (to keep it from getting warm) and unplug the power cord to keep it from getting over charged or whatever i know a few days of careful use wont be enough to explode it.

however just the knowledge that its technically a ticking time bomb is stressing me out to use my computer. (which i need to do for classes). id take the battery out but i dont wanna lose the tiny little screws that keep it in place cuz ill probably need em to install the replacement lmao. this is for sure hitting an anxiety button for me though. i feel a deep empathy for my ailing laptop

#im just venting/reassuring myself. once the replacement comes itll be smooth sailing #im pretty solid w computer maintenance stuff hardware and software -wise. nothing too complex but #a lot of practical day-to-day stuff that makes fixing common problems much less hassle or stress. learned a lot from my dad growing up #i talked w him about it and he said i should definitely get a new one ASAP but didnt seem too concerned about immediate risk #however i am deliberately typing gently and not pressing on the chassis cuz i know its in there. growing. waiting #oh and also theres the underlying guilt of buying a lithium battery because theyre ethically so fucked up. theres that too. just no winning

Stating that something happens is not endorsement of it. Posting analysis of something is not inherently a claim that one’s analysis is the only possible correct reading. Calling something “common” is not the same as arguing that it’s a majority. Enjoying a particular narrative in fiction is not and cannot be real-world apologism because that fiction is not real.
