Chef catches the snack pack, putting them back into the cage.

Chef pulls out creek, and they have the whole strangle moment.

Creek tells them he sold out everyone, showing no remorse so they dont try rescuing him. He even says to her theres no other “not him getting eaten” way, and chef agrees.

Instead of poppy focusing on the kingdom she becomes empathetic towards Bridget, turning back after being let go and helping her out. Poppy explains to the bergens that theres other ways to be happy. Then demonstrates that.

The bergens believe her, having a happy ending where they realize they dont need to eat trolls.

Chef gets rocketed out on a grill, creek in her fanny pack. She tries to eat him, the creature below them waking up. They get eaten by said monster.

“If poppy had only listened to you, if she took you seriously..if we all did. This would’ve never happened. If she just focused on the kingdom and not saving me, you all could’ve escaped and ran off. Finding a new haven. I know in the end it was a good plan..and lead to good things. But..she didn’t know that, no one did. You all almost died.”

Johns killed someone, he followed them on a hike and tried bashing their head with a rock. The person had a self defense pocket knife because of the wild animals. They slashed his left hand, john trying to push them off a cliff (waterfall cliff). Person grips onto his jacket, pleading for their life and how they dont understand what they did to deserve this, hanging off the cliff only not falling because hes gripping onto johns jacket. Johns gripping the ground, reaching for a rock and smashing their eye until they let go. Person falls, not dying because the water wasnt shallow enough. He runs down with a hunting knife, stabbing the guy to death. This was his first kill, only doing it so he could eat as he was struggling.

Notes on trolls three and poppy:

poppy seems super pushy and non empathetic to branch, literally appearing as if she cant put herself in someone else’s shoes.

2. She consistently tests his comfort and boundaries. Even being manipulative in some instances to get him to do what she wants.

3: it seems like she was more interested in investing in JD and the mission because they’re BroZone, not because she cared about branch or his trauma.

4. Yes at sometimes she comforted him and convinced him to continue with the mission, but that doesn’t make up for her lack of empathy simply because she shows sympathy.

5. I understand being a huge fan of BroZone, but some of her behaviors absolutely cross the comfort of the members. JD kept the funderwears for memorabilia, not because of some scent thing. Yet poppy’s borderline lustful reaction implies she would’ve kept them for that reason.

6. Sometimes she still struggles to listen to him, projecting her familial issues onto him and saying how grateful he should be. She was so fixated on the facf she craves more from her family, that she couldn’t even fathom the fact someone wouldn’t like their family members or have a more complicated relationship.

These are all of course little things, but they can build up and they can cause long term built up issues. It’s saddening to see that even if they sorted out her not listening to him, she still has a lot she needs to fix. And Branch, especially after all of his trauma being forcibly resurfaced, most likely can’t handle all of her flaws she needs to work on.

These all were brought up to her when they separated, she didn’t react the best initially until a few days later when she finally gained some sort of empathy and guilt for her neglect towards my brother.

NorthSonic fic idea-

Everyone in x hunter is all tired after betting in the Epic NorthSonic Get Together bet that went on for a whole year after the events of Pit Babe, started and maintained by Kim who kept tabs on every development and in which everyone participated, including Jeff the self-proclaimed hermit and Babe, who like to stay 10 feet away from messy romantic relationships these days.

(Jeff had his future seeing powers wiped away with the magic serum shortly after the Pit Babe events so Kim allows him to participate. Tho Jeff regrets giving up his powers slightly after seeing the wagers involved.)

But it leads to nothing for literal months.

Kim is so, so close to giving up his detailed spreadsheets with times and dates and locations of where North and Sonic were seen together and everyone in the team is quite close to assuming that the alpha and omega were just v v good friends who sometimes liked to cuddle and nuzzle and share their bed and nest with e/o. It happens. They have seen weirder things. Like Way getting knocked up with Pete's child and marrying the man in the course of 3 months.

At this time members from other racing team have also joined, some under diff aliases, cause North and Sonic, the chaotic duo, were popular and well-loved in the thai racing scene, and there was no lack of hush-hush gossiping about the relationship status every season.

X hunter secret betting association (secret cause they want to keep it out of Alan's eyes, not knowing that he knows this already and has even placed a bet with an alias in favour of North and Sonic being together. Can't be caught publicly making bets about his team members, he needs be a responsible owner u.u)

Except the spreadsheets fall on North and Sonic's hand (or maybe only one of them) along with the wagers. By now the entire narrative has shifted, and most are betting that North and Sonic are not, and will not, be together ever.

The only people still favouring the duo being together are Alan (under his alias ofc), Kim (he swears he get couple vibes from the two), and Kenta, who is participating solely to support if bf, and a random few names from the other teams.

NorthSonic sees this, and like the gremlins they are, they see this as a lovely opportunity to make a nice, quick buck. Afterall, who told ~80% of the thai racing scene to speculate so shamelessly into other people's love lifes?

They laugh at how delulu people are these days, because in which universe would they fall in love and be together? Their laugh tapers off into silence and they stare at e/o's eyes. They turn a little red, look away, and a few minutes later together arrive at a wonderful idea—they'll place bets and pretend to get together for a month to snag the money.

It all goes well.

They turn out to be very good actors—turning their usual cuddles, back hugs etc a little longer and posting pics of them visiting places together like always, except this time they stand a little closer and put heart emojis and kissing faces when they post and tag e/o.

Then they start occasionally dropping a kiss or two on the other's cheeks, forehead or lips. What's a little kissing between homies, right?

Then they both start bringing each other random gifts and flowers, red roses and perfumes and all that glitz that online magazines will heap praises on them for.

It's nice. Too nice.

They both start realizing that maybe they like the more than a homie. It's slow. But it's there. North and Sonic both feel shy yet can't stop cause BAHTS.

The deadline for the bet arrive and they (along with Kim, Kenta and Alan) have a very, very happy day.

They have a nice dinner at a nice beachside restaurant in Pattaya as an ending celebration for their successful, month-long fake relationship while sipping fancy imported wine.

Then they go to a beachside bar, like they do after every successful race, and get drunk off their asses. They stumble back to the hotel, fall on the large bed of their suite (cause why pay for two suites when you can share one with your homie?)

They make good use of the nice, soft, large hotel bed.

They wake up in the morning and find themselves staring at e/o and smile and decide to not talk about it.

They go back to Bangkok together in one car.

North drives Sonic to his house and go to Alan's himself, where he stumbles into the team-uncle's arms, ignoring Jeff's very concerned glances, and is escorted (more like dragged) to a room by Alan, who then shuts the door after him, telling Jeff to not worry, he can take care of it.

Alan gets a call and leaves the room. Some time passes, during which North completely panics and wonders if his friendship will ever be salvageable, if he can ever look at Sonic as a friend, if he wants to look at Sonic as a friend, would Sonic ever look at him as someone more than a friend, why would Sonic never look at him as someone more than a friend, why is Sonic so pretty, why does Sonic have the prettiest eyes, Why does Sonic look so hot when he's moaning and telling North to fuck him harder, why is Sonic so nice and soft and cute and small for an alpha, would Sonic ever knot him, how would Sonic help him through his heats if he were his boyfriend, why did he never realize how much he loves Sonic, why is he not dating Sonic anymore, why did he not confess when he had the chance, why was he so greedy for money, is not getting to date Sonic the retribution for being so sinfully greedy about Money-

Alan comes back right then as he's spiralling out of control.

He offers North an ibruprofen, a bottle of water, and a long, long hug during which he pats the boy and tells him it will be ok as the omega wets his shirt with tears and snot. (Alan cringes only a little. He's quite used to it by now.)

He gives North a short speech about the importance of communication, and another about birth control and safe sex. North splutters at the later one and mournfully says that it's useless, Uncle should save his breath.

Alan smiles mysteriously and leaves the room.

Fifteen minutes later Sonic is pushed into the room by Alan and the door bangs close, leaving two of them in the room.

(Alan smiles at Jeff's raised eyebrows and says it'll all work out. He was the one who talked Sonic into coming here, he knows his boys and he knows they are finally ready to take their heads off their asses.)

When the door is opened 2 hours later (because Alan can not possibly starve his boys, no matter how much he wants them to talk it out), the couch and the table in the room have already been sullied. The bed would have been next, and also Alan's eyes, but North and Sonic were a little too too tired by then.

Alan is sad for his furniture, but it comes with the two dumbasses in his team finally sorting themselves out and making Alan worry less, so it's a worthy trade. And he also has the money from the bet :)

The rest of the team only knows much, much later, thanks to a slip of tongue from Jeff while talking with Charlie, who tells Babe, and the secret is out.

Kim is very happy and by proxy Kenta is too, but the rest are a little miffed. They get over it soon after seeing how happy North and sonic are.

The secret is never spilled out of the team, however, because even Kim, with his cute korean looks and winning smile can't keep it down if ~70% of the thai racing scene starts yelling at him for unofficial fraud. And also cause he, and NorthSonic really like their profits from the bet.

explaining references in my art pieces for fun part 1 (idk if i will do part 2 since this is just for fun.) under cut.

I want to start with a disclaimer that a lot of my art is based on the crazy shit in my own mind but a lot of that is grounded in stuff that has actually happened in canon because i actually do enjoy older canon at times lol. also this is just relation to canon stuff mostly I wont explain my whole flower language shit here.

I have a personal event document for canon events that only really diverges once it gets to Judgement Day etc etc.

Going to start with my piece that I call "Ripley and The 52" in my folder which is I guess the piece where I finally just said fuck it and went crazy.

There are a couple references to general comics but also booster and rip's arc in 52 ofc because that's what this piece is about. No Ted doesn't die, but their arc still happens (but a bit different).

First I'll address my constant use of nature in these works because the reason I do this (other than my own love for floral and insects) is mentioned within this arc. We have Mr mind who is this bug who is eating the multiverse essentially which is explained like a pest in a garden- only the garden is all of time and space and the flowers are everyone and everything whose ever existed and all their knowledge.

Since Ted is alive for this arc (I have other reasons to explain why Booster is acting the way he is) he plays his own part, this is mostly tech backup for Rip and Booster (as he is RECENTLY retired) and less physical stuff.

Basically threes a lot of Ted vs hating magic stuff as well. Time is a balance of both science and magic, and the magic side pisses him off a lot especially since this is one of his first experiences trying to handle that balance in awhile (especially not when dealing with Waverider). these bits are in reference to Ted. anyways while he's alive I did feel like paying homage to one of my favorite bits of that canon arc. They still use the scarab to fix Skeets and save time as I always loved the explanation that when things go randomly missing without explanation in the DC universe (as the scarab did) it's time travels fault.

I also thought "hey what if this is when we retrofit The Bug to do time travel" bc im silly like that.

Also since this arc has a lot of Mr mind you know I had to include the menace, this piece probably is what made me fall in love with him as a character. It is so funny to have cosmic beef with a worm.

The falling apart clock is actually a reference to Waveriders (diff Waverider- BUT i think it's funny he dies in issue 27 when that's how old my Waverider was when he BECAME Waverider.) death in 52 which while fucked up I always found so fun that it took place in a clock store. also check out that tiny bite taken out of the decoration of the Time Sphere lol.

We also have Hyperfly and the trail of planets he is eating that The Bug is flying through. sorry i made Hyperfly cute. There is also skeets in this piece who isn't actually Skeets but Mr Mind inside of Skeets. This is later the creation of Macromia.

Also What would this arc be without the iconic Booster faking his own public death and making himself pissed off as the Serious Super-Nova. (placed two stars next to them because they're both booster)

I also just threw in some other references to their adventures and antagonists in this piece with Starro, Waverider (though they have a minor part in this story itself), and in the paisley on the time sphere we have references to Chronos.

Which finally brings me to the hints at Rip's connections to Ted which start in this piece where he has a augmented clone of the BB-Gun Ted always uses. This is also shown in the "Jeff/Rip broken time" piece i did where Both the gun AND papers are strewn around labeled KORD industries. Unfortunately the writing on the papers in the final piece are impossible to see. Then the "back to the future" Parody piece with Ted and Rip is a reference to the name of the arc that introduces Rip to bg vol 1 lol.

I also want to note that my Rip wields both this gun and his Sword. I will get more into the sword later probably with future art but the Sword is magic and the gun is science based, another fun reference to the balance of time.

Anyways the whole point of this piece is that time gets broken and its in part Rip and Jeff's fault because you can't make a time machine without breaking a few timelines. Also a broken clock rip was gifted by his grandfather is a reoccurring visual metaphor in the actual Time Masters 1990 comic.

Also I will point out the clock is broken in this piece and rip has a wound on his head in the same spot the clocks broken. something something hinting at something.

Speaking of Jeff and Rip there are also a few comic easter eggs in the "Breakfast at the end of time" piece too. Not too many, just a mug that says 86 (when bg vol 1 and teds solo came out), and a tabloid that talks about Superman being missing and Mr Mind.

In the big Jeff/Rip peice i recently did that shows snapshots of their life together there is a reference to Time-1, which is Rip's Car in Time Masters 1990 as well as them in cowboy gear together because the issue that's Jeff centric in that series is based in the wild west (though that happens a lot different in my shit).

I also threw in a reference to Rip losing his eye when he's older because why not.

Finally my most recent piece "Cosmic Gardens" I'll explain the references because its yet another jumble piece lol. First we have all of the main time masters at least the ones that have roles in cosmic gardens (which is what i call the time masters story I'm working on for fun). Jeff, Jack, Tony, and Bonnie (Corky not included sorry Corky). Skeets is also there just because.

There is also a callback to the 52 piece with the wing of Mr Mind's hyperfly form which calls to the creation of Macromia during that event. 52 takes place in this Rip's future but his fathers pasts.

It's more difficult to explain this piece without mentioning non-canon stuff since most of these characters (including older Ted and Booster) are post divergence of the canon, even if these events actually take PLACE during that canon (time travel is a bitch).

I'm not sure yet how much I'd like to share regarding Macromia and the time gardens (all knowledge of time and space) or how her, waverider, and beetles are all connected in a way but i guess the easiest way to put it is that they're all essential to the ecosystem of this unthinkable place that exists in between the riverbanks of time.

Ted's part in the Vanishing Point VS Macromia's part in the gardens, Waverider's desires VS Macromia's oath, The existence of Rip as a paradox since birth, etc etc.

And while all these characters would think they're completely different they aren't and where does the next generation fall when all of this is happening and affecting them.

Circling back to Ted before I end this post I do want to also bring attention to these tiny details across my pieces like how in the "Back to the future" Ted and Rip piece, the stream of time connects to Vanishing Point which relates directly to Ted (and Rip, but Ted has a large part on how the Vanishing Point functions tech wise after Brainiacs help etc etc). You'll also notice the house on there looks a little familiar if you have a keen eye for unimportant details.

im actually gonna try to keep this short bc g-d knows like 80% of my brain power’s gone into constantly babbling about owen for the last year. so im gonna speed run this. main opinion? he’s character of all time to me. hes mentally ill hes mean he thinks love is weakness he loves so hard he’d burn down the world for it hes a bitch he cares for his friends sooo much hes good at his job hes bad at his job. hes misogynistic hes a woman hes homophobic hes gay he prioritizes casual sex hes a little bit in love with all his friends hes tries to save others he wants to be saved hes wants to die he gets angry when hes killed he wants to contribute something good he destroys everything he touches hes loyal to a fault he judas’d jack. everyone he loves leaves him he nearly destroyed the world to keep from being abandoned his parents didnt want him his mom never liked him. hes just some guy he’s the most insane bitch to ever exist. hes transmasc shes butch hes a straight guy she could be the worst woman ever hes a bi imbicile. hes mean and bitter and angry and awful and he tries to remind everyone and himself of it but hes good hes good hes good in the end.

other opinions uh… i think the writing handles him irresponsibly at times, and is disrespectful towards him, although maybe they thought it was justified cuz hes an ass sdjkfhds. but the undead arc is fucking mean to him in a lot of places. dmw in particular is like… idk it just strikes a particular tone at his expense, i don’t like it. it’s cruel. but torchwood isn’t exactly a show that respects its characters much. something that particularly bothers me is the way he oscillates between being fucked up and fine in a way that’s like… not realistic, it’s obvious it’s just a writing issue. like, the way he’s magically better and healthier and less of a prick after season 1, and then again after the undead arc. like that’s not how it works. that character growth wasn’t earned. that’s a pet peeve i have, and also kind of why s2 owen exists in a different place in my head as s1 owen. the main owen that lives in my head is him at his worst, not a version of him who’s randomly and inexplicably doing better and being kinder, and as a fic writer i like starting at that unhealthy baseline and trying to actually put the work into making him better, too. lord knows the show didn’t care enough to do it well. then again, it’s torchwood, yknow. the characters aren’t the focus. unfortunately. 

my fav and least fav owen moments are my fav and least fav eps of the whole show fdshfkdjs so they can be found here and here. but tldr, fav moment is everything that happens in the last two eps of s1. least fav is every time he interacts w tosh. lolol. dude i could list sm moments of his that i love i have like five compilations of him on my phone. im ill lmao. there are 11k mentions of his name from me on discord across all my servers ;-; guy im deranged abt fr

i think he’s easily the best written character (not the best character, that's subjective ofc - but i also lowkey think he's the best character. but also im slam dunking him into a dumpster cuz he sucks)

tbh i don’t completely like his backstory? but it is what it is. i just think s2 owen feels very different from s1 owen and they worked so hard to make him more likeable which is nice and all but it’s almost at odds with his original characterization. like i said, s1 owen and s2 owen are practically diff characters to me

mmm and i dont like s2 owen quite as much ;-; i much prefer him in s1. i do like his undead arc though. well. i like aditd. dmw 😒 my beloathed

in general i dont like nice owen fdhfjsdhfkd which i think is an unpopular opinion. im just v picky abt him tbh

(THIS one’s controversial but imho!) him and jack have a very unhealthy + borderline abusive relationship but! it’s in a lowkey fruity way and not a, gag, paternal or brotherly way. ill talk about this more at some point, i wanna do an analysis of their relationship but i don't fully have my thoughts on it together yet. but i think they have smth a bit psychosexual (in the tomgreg definition of the word. where my succession freaks at) going on.

(in general i HATE the fatherly jack & owen angle it makes me super uncomfortable when jack flirts w him in canon. this is the horny show dude. why does authority figure automatically equal father figure to ppl. weird. jack's his commanding officer, guys. also the inherent homoeroticism of being someone's second in command. yknow. he brought him back from the fucking dead, dude. that was fruity with gwen & suzie and it was fruity with jack & owen idc.)

slightly adjacent - i think owen’s a lot gayer than he lets on / than people see him as. i don’t think he’s women-leaning at all, i think he’s more of a 50/50 bi, he’s just got some p heavy internalized issues going on. he’ll sleep with men, if the opportunity presents itself (so he can justify it, lawl), but i think he has issues with the idea of loving and dating one. but i think he’s just as attracted to men as he is to women. 

that being said, i dont think he’d call himself straight. one of my biggest pet peeves is fics where owen’s like “im not gay btw” he wouldnt fucking say that. i think if you asked owen about his sexuality he’d do a hand wavey motion and thatd be that

he was rlly into punk shit as a teen + played with gender a little bit back then, + sexuality (kissing his guy friends in public to make a statement / piss someone off, that sort of thing). that was kind of his first experience with queerness + figuring himself out + bc of that it was born from a place of defiance that he never fully got over. helped him feel like he was taking back control over smth that made him feel like shit (his mom was. Not an ally. to say the least)

in fact a lot of his behavior is a result of his mom believing he’d always be a fuck up, that he’d never amount to anything. he wears spite like a badge. being a poor kid who became a doctor and getting engaged at 23 were both ‘fuck yous’ to his mom.

i dont come up with stuff for undead owen much cuz it bums me out but one of my few hcs is he gets rlly into gaming cuz its smth to do. cant skateboard anymore cuz he might hurt himself so he picks up thps *taps temple*. also he shreds at guitar hero but only privately (he thinks its cringe). hes mainly a ps2/ps3 player but tosh builds him a gaming pc (partially just cuz she wants to like the reward of getting to make smth w her hands dhfkdsj). he also gets into doom + postal from his youth again. hes a little more wary of shooter games now that it's his career but also its good for his anger fff

Oh wow, been a long while eh? Almost four years! I'm honestly surprised my obsession with the man lasted this long lmao, also surprised anyone still remembers storage wars which got us into this whole mess in the first place >.<

Thank you for indulging me in my Mumbo-centric ways, i swear that man deserves more but as far as I've seen he's always just relegated to a love interest or a side character 😔. Been trying to remedy that but I'm also the slowest writer to ever grace this earth so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Now, regarding the ZIT crew they definitely fell at different times and at different speeds. We're going by the time each of them joined and we all know that Mumbo has had a hand in summoning both Tango and Impulse to the server which got Zed into it in the end.

Tango's summoning was a bit like summoning tech support. Quick and business-like, a little bit impersonal but hey, you don't really get a chance to build rapport with every technician you meet. But then Tango was invited back and it helps that they were already on the right foot.

Tango only started to fall around the civil war. They've been chatting and meeting every now and then, usually about the newest iron farm designs but they really got to talking when Mumbo came back from his short stint as a mole.

Impulse's summoning, however, was a lot more personal, and some would say that it all started since then. Freshly summoned but his eyes were already glued to that quiet, suit wearing redstoner whose name he didn't know despite having a tiny piece of the man's soul resting comfortably with his (and vice versa but that's the perils of the type of summoning they did, Tango and Xisuma's been affected as well)

He was pretty unperturbed about the whole thing though, because he's Impulse, the kind of guy with the patience to rebuild his whole base a block higher just because he didn't like the look of it. (Just... no sudden movements following grand discoveries though, that's enough to destabilize Impulse's finely crafted nonchalance)

And funnily enough, I've written the exact moment Mumbo caught Zedaph's eye. Four years ago as well ^^

Personal, just under a readmore for privacy, no TWs apply other than mild sexual themes I guess???

Sooo my drag mom is getting me a job at a pretty big drag event (a competition that runs regularly) around here, not like as a performer per se but as part of the pit crew. And I'm having feelings about it?

Basically, the pit crew do stage setup, collect tips, and occasionally perform. And look pretty, ofc. Right now the two pit crew members (only one of whom I know personally) are a drag king and a cis guy (who might do drag IDK, probably does but doesn't like...there at that event usually.) And ofc it's a gay club so like the dude wears little briefs, the drag king usually wears trans tape and briefs and sometimes a harness or smth. And I have nooo issue w nudity for the record, I'd be fine w that, I'm mostly just hesitant abt that bc like. I don't wanna tape every time bc I'm lazy but throwing on a sports bra also feels lazy but I don't feel confident a regular bra is going to stay and not be fussy while I'm running around performing tasks. So I have the typical "what will I wear" dilemma LOL. I could just wear a binder tho TBH. Also I don't have issues w body image whatever bc A. I love my body and B. The event is already rly body diverse so like it's not like I'd stand out like I would being a lil thicker among a bunch of skinny twinks.

So I've covered what I'm NOT worried about. What I am worried about is like...do I deserve this, basically. I JUST started out in drag. It's been less than a year. It feels like cheating, to get a spot in this show even as just pit crew. Because they aren't just nameless stage hands, they get performance spots and promos on the socials and stuff. The one I know (the king) has been performing for like, years. Not to mention the connections, though I guess that's a little moot since I have a lot of the connections already thru my drag mom. She knows a lot of the big names around here and is friends with a lot of them. Like there are two hosts, one is friends with my drag mom and one I'm friends with thru a diff drag thing. But still, a lot of people who work there are like legendary.

And likeee I do also know that that's sort of the point of having a drag parent, they use their connections to get u things. But nepotism feels weird to me. I'm not used to being favored without a catch. And I'm worried my connections might make other people in the community think I like, cheated. What if they automatically think I'm used to just getting things? I feel like that might harbor resentment, but maybe I'm projecting.

I'm going to take the job regardless, mostly because I need the money. It's just wild, I feel like I've been thrown into the deep end with all of this. Like my drag mom has SO much faith in me and genuinely thinks I'll really be able to make it big and I don't? Know where that's coming from. Not that I think I'm not good or can't be good, but because I'm just a beginner. It's like declaring someone a prodigy a week into preschool. Let me prove myself first. But also don't look a gift horse in the mouth I guess.

well first of a male or female body is a strange way to word it because someone whos a trans man can still have a biologically female body and be a male. a better way to talk about assigned female or male at birth but even that is something that people talk about and question.

anyway, I am afab so I was assigned female at birth and expressed myself so for a majority of my life.

when I was about 15 I started to research queer identities and started to figure out my own gender expression and I think at 17/18 I was comfortable enough to put a name to it online and started going by a diff name and pronouns. when I was 19 I first came out to someone irl and at 21 I came out more publicly in my new school and live openly as a non binary person there.

Zesht Lijep - Career Infodump

Zesht Lijep (ugly in Farsi, pretty in Bosnian) is a trio project which is comprised of Khmer-American musician Franny Sor Robinson and an Iranian-German musician and a Bosnian-Swedish musician. The three of them released dual debut albums: one has indie pop vibes, which surprises casual Franny Sor Robinson listeners, but if you’re a die hard stan you know that Franny has written numerous pop songs before and in fact the money from co-writing pop music helps to allow her to make the music she’s passionate about. The songs on this album are primarily in English, with one song sung in English, Khmer, Bosnian, and Farsi.

 The other, is their passion project album, where the three of them combine folk songs and instruments from their cultures (Bosnian, Swiss, German, American, Swedish, Iranian, and Cambodian) with folk instruments from each others’ cultures and modern instruments - think what Altın Gün does for traditional Turkish songs, what The Hu does with metal and Mongolian throat singing,  Rhiannon Giddens pairing a traditional Iranian drum with an Appalachian folk song, and Trio Mandili’s whole vibe. The finished songs generally have a groovable rhythm like Altın Gün’s funky, psychedelic offerings, and drum kits and bass guitars are seamlessly paired with traditional stringed, percussion, and flute-like instruments.

Dada Prazina, fronts a band in Sweden with the name Prazina because everyone thought her surname was cool (fc: Ilma Karahmet), ethnic Bosnian, Swedish-Bosnian dual citizen

Mahvash Shirazi, stage name “MAVA” stylized in all caps (fc: Hasti Mahdavifar), ethnic Iranian, Iranian-German dual citizen

 Mahvash was a biiiig Franny Sor Robinson stan for years and they became friends while she toured with Seoul Hanoi’d as the opening act under the stage name MAVA on the European leg of one of their tours. MAVA’s solo music is like, Conan Grey and Phum Viphurit vibes. Dada is the frontwoman of a band in Sweden with Hey Violet and Kississippi vibes. Dada’s band is called Prazina because her Swedish bandmates thought her last name was cool as hell.

 Franny has appeared as a featured singer on two of MAVA’s songs and one song with Prazina, and she’s written songs for both in the last couple years, so Zesht Lijep isn’t Dada and Mahvash’s first time working with Franny, this is just the three of them working on a passion side project together.

 Pretend the instrumentation is super cool and groundbreaking stuff, I just have no musical talent so I tried to describe the songs but *upside down smiley here*

im sorry but otis and maeve exacerbate the goodness and badness both in each other and this makes them special and more connected with their glimpses, gestures and inability to stay away for longer. unless ur telling me there are other superior ships too but the ending of s3 ep7 was so so special. Otis and Maeve's ending lines in the rain scene is pretty PRETTY indicative of who at least should be with whom, when its always been them in each others mind. Now idk what would writers do or make of it in s4 and cliffhanger like ending, but all love interests added were poorly added and gave us false hope for both characs to be with someone else like isaac/ruby thing, however the entire thing as eric says too, "happened bcs of otis and maeve coming together with special diff traits and bonds to form the best clinic that offers pretty feasible and amateur like opinions which in turn polished otis' skills of helping people more and also for maeve who was already pretty smart and bright ahead of her times, in her speech and tastes" and this was entire reason and beginning of the best season which led to clinical education, awareness for teenagers while otis and maeve also navigate through each others lives and troubles and love and ways of communicating since both have a different way of communicating and both adhere to each other and also give each other space more, (or maybe bcs i do prefer that ship more than others, im just so hyped at every scene and moment). However the best moment for me wasn't the bus scene kiss moment in france but when otis and maeve were both kicked out of sexed class for open and different opinions against or anti to whatever prude and harsh concepts Hope was instilling in people, a lot of ppl and characters owned up to their sexuality and rebelled but Otis and Maeve rejecting the idea and challenging and arguing but then also being kicked out of class is very special moment and a parallel between them that so many perhaps don't notice, It also tells how differently in choices, they are so connected in thoughts, Maeve never shrugged off otis and he doesn't bother her only and until they both knew they couldn't really stay away and he made an effort even after f_cking up to stay in his life, and apologized and competed rather foolishly with isaac but all this bottled down again to ruby and isaac just used for story development and then removed from scenes but in a way i think, it is best for them since otis and maeve are both confused about each other & overall relationships, i think they both would take things v slowly and they are that kind of patient couple if they are a couple.....which i cant see hope of. It all actually just started from them too, which led to graffitis and sexual topics to be embraced and accepted more, bcs idk if someone also noticed how otis has so much of jean in him, and even if he is embarrassed by his mother sometimes, the genes just reflect in him. He is good at articulating and smooth and i think maeve picks it up quickly, they don't even guess when they are together, and they both have innate desire to help ppl esp maeve under that hard rock shell of an exterior, she is the most selfless and forgiving person, maybe too much, and lets go of a lot of stuff, always looks forward to future and is quite pragmatic even but in sense of otis, they both are always inexplicably drawn and held together to each other by some bitter false or sweet ripe memory of their previous days and its so funny or adorable to see them actually cling foolishly to their past encounter messages, moments, talks, and dreams/jokes of having a clinic. We see eric as bestfriend of Otis rooting for them too, and so does Aimee (which is weak evidence or parallel since writers are putting hints like this always but it is always jeopardized somehow in the end too so im not hoping or keeping too high hopes on anything).

The rain moment in s3ep7 is the most heart-warming because maeve now doesn't push otis back and neither does she falls back on isaac somehow, and she welcomes his opinion again, only this time they actually confess in pretty open words & expressions which is more meaningful and rigorous and sparkling than the RainmomentInFrance which i think was, meaningless or maybe just a way to bring them close together.

You cannot tell me this is excellent dialogue exchange and yet so simple with breath your name by Sixpence playing in the BG,

Otis: "It was never about the clinic, it was to be close to you – and even if we aren't romantically together, id like to see you everyday, Nothing feels right when you aren't here"

This is more about companionship and soulmate-ism too than just a sexual relationship or deep crush situation. Even if they aren't together romantically, and still wanting to be close to her is big big thing & detail for at least something good and warm for them in future, because he hasn't confessed this to anyone or ruby even which was initially a casual relationship even. This explains pretty well that even if they aren't together or intended to be together, - the staying close + together or near each other is enough to make day.

Maeve: "It wasn't about the money for me, it was also to be close to you too

Maeve doesn't say much but a) smiles when he says we can be team and due to nearness to her he wanted to work on further and b).she exclaims and rebuts his claim that she was in it for money only when she has never been lucky in family/financial dept and wanted to be close to her too, but also how this was method for her to earn money too so like double benefit because maeve does need money and we cannot reduce her to romantic person only but the hardworking intelligent and practical persona she carries and embodies! and wants to rise academically and also does it selflessly, doesn't obstruct or infringe on someone's rights like most people do. But she also does admit at the same time it wasnt just for the money. With the background music score this moment might be the best cliché end or romantic confession even if in future it doesn't mean much because words...are winds and fade away, but i cannot deny the canon visible goodness these both characters bring out in one another, its like they do compliment and fit each other which i always find quite evident from s1 until s2 made their friendship too sour but its about what they bring in each other and only think abt themselves in each others presence. When they are with someone else they think about other things clouding their mind yet sometimes when they talk to each other, its like they both do comfort each other or it wouldn't have pained the writers to show how visibly hateful they are if they were. Perhaps the abortion moment in s1 was also very warm and changed my mind so much abt them, its like how otis is always there in worse situations for maeve along with aimee too ofc, and sometimes its childish to see him try so hard and desperate to be there but she eventually lets him in.

HELL YEA OC song/voice headcanon time let’s goooo I’ve been wanting to do one of these for a long time now. And after seeing my friend @shunfluff​ do one for some of their OCs, I finally decided to sit down and take time to throw this together while I actually still have a drawing bug. Strike while the iron’s hot and all. Though I… didn’t just stop at drawings and and song titles. I really shouldn’t have access to Filmora X’D After seeing how fun the effects could be, I played around a bit to make it all a bit more dynamic. Ofc I couldn’t get to all 50 of my OCs, I mostly just picked ones that I already had a song in mind for. If I feel like doing another vid with more OCs at a later date, then I definitely will. Harvey: “You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid” by The Offspring (Singer: Dexter Holland) Harvey loves all things rock. Mostly British & Australian punk rock, but also a good majority of alternative and some metal. His voice was actually pretty hard to pinpoint; I see it being at a range anywhere between Queen and Adam Lambert, plus he’s a master at changing his voice. But ultimately I settled on this singer, which is a good middle-ground. Terry: “The World That He Sees” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra (Singer: Zak Stevens) Terry is inspired directly from TSO, so it only seemed fitting to use one of their songs. He has a beautiful booming operatic singing voice, which his family had him use in their Catholic church to sing classic hymns during masses. Seth: “Indigo” by Ed-Alleyne Johnson As you can tell, this isn’t a song with vocals. Seth’s voice is somewhat close to Josh Groban’s, he’s just not as skilled of a singer. But in a sense, his electric violin is his voice so I decided to switch things up. Marie: “Kings & Queens” by Ava Max Marie is a criminally under-used OC of mine. She was the lead scientist behind the Animalia - the group of animal hybrid subjects (like Harvey). She does a lot of work for humanitarian, environmentalist and gender equality efforts. She’s very self-confident and knows damn well how to strut her stuff to get what she wants. She uses every bit of media attention to bring important issues to light, and often has men in the science community at her beck and call, pointing out the double-standards of the science community and their treatment of women in the field. Riley: “Monster” by Skillet (Singer: John Cooper) Angsty badger is angsty. Riley battles a lot of internal rage and violent urges, struggling to keep it in check. I was torn between this song and “Animal I Have Become”, but ultimately this one just sounds more like him. Kenisime: “ Deora Ar Mo Chroí ” by Enya I ended up using Kenni’s female form for this, since there weren’t any songs off the top of my head that had a really deep, really soft/silky voice. So Enya’s soothing singing is very fitting for Kenni in this form. Ragaeli: “Say My Name” from Beetlejuice (Singer: Alex Brightman) I already posted this in a diff video, but might as well include him here too. Pitched-down Alex Brightman is still a dead-ringer for Rags’ normal speaking & singing voice. Kama: “Ijazat” from the movie One Night Stand (Singer: Tanuj Virwani)  Ngl, my first song choice for Kama was “Tonight (I’m Fckin You)” by Enrique Iglesias. His voice tone and the lyrics were very fitting for Kama, but a friend pointed out that it might be uhhh weird to have a Spanish singer as a voice claim for an Indian character. So instead I found a nice sensual Indian song that works well for him. Clancy: “Dulaman” by (Singer: Ciaran O’Donovan) There was a different singer/version for this song on TikTok that’s a closer match to Clancy’s voice, but the account got deleted for some reason :c So this one works. He has a very light, airy, pleasant voice. I like to imagine that the choir in the background is his other fairy workers at his trading post. …And then Harvey again, lmao. He’s a fucking awesome guitarist and I had to show that off. “Through the Fire and Flames” has just the right amount of chaotic, fiery enthusiasm for his character.

GOsh ok so I'm only on chapter 5 and I feel so much already, but I hate to say that a lot of that feeling is frustration and displeasure

LIKE I usually don't ramble about any routes so QUICKLY like this but I JUST FELT THE NEED TO SAY SOMETHING BECAUSE HIS ROUTE IS JUST BOTHERING ME SO MUCH. I expected it to be really cute and lighthearted and with those typical angsty subplots. Like, I expected that angst quite a bit, especially with the CG in his route trailer where he's chained up and it obv has something to do with the magic tower. but IM LITERALLY SO UPSET BECAUSE THE AMOUNT OF MANIPULATION HAPPENING JUST BOTHERS ME. 

Seth is pretty much manipulating the MC with sweet words whenever she talks about getting involved with the Black Army by using her powers, saying things like "don't you think that I'd be so much sweeter to use ur powers on ;)”. (I know this could be related to “distracting her so she doesn't end up getting involved and getting hurt” but something about how he goes about it rubs me the wrong way. Even Lance, who goes so far as to let MC believe that he’s planned to kill her all along just to protect her, doesn’t pull this hardcore emotional manipulation as well as trying to make it secksi times instead of letting her be a WOMAN AND MAKE HER OWN DECISIONS. IT’S JUST SOMETHING ABOUT HOW SETH IS EMOTIONALLY MANIPULATING HER THAT BOTHERS ME.)

And then he constantly insists that "you're just a poor rabbit going to be eaten up by wolves" and he just keeps SQUIRMING HIMSELF INTO THE CENTER OF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MC'S INTERACTIONS WITH SIDE CHARACTERS. HE LITERALLY SHOVES HER ON HIS BED AND GIVES HER A HICKEY SO THAT NOBODY WOULD TOUCH HER. like I get the whole 😍omg love bites so hot😍 but THIS IS LITERALLY CHAPTER 4. OUT OF 26. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE AN ESTABLISHED RELATIONSHIP AND THE MC HADN'T EVEN SAID ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT SHE SEES HIM AS, AND SHE HASN'T EVEN ADMITTED TO HERSELF THAT SHE LOVES HIM. HE IS FORCING HIMSELF INTO HER LIFE AND MAKING DEMANDS UNDER THE GUISE OF "I'm protecting you" and UGHHHH. I’m not WEAK I don't want you to be telling me what I do and don’t need from the people around me.

Maybe some people are into that, idk. I know I was SOOOOOOO excited for Seth’s route to be released since I ADORED HIM and he was one of the first Black Army characters I actually fell for along with Sirius. but GEEEEZ MAN it's just making me so uncomfortable how pushy he is and the way he’s physical and intimate with her right off the bat. It doesn't even feel genuine and it just feels like he wants to use her and keep her distracted, all with ulterior motives.

THE BREAKING POINT FOR ME WAS WHEN LOKI WHISPERS SOMETHING IN MC'S EAR TO KEEP HER SAFE FROM THE MAGIC TOWER, AND SETH YANKS HER BACK AND FLASHES HER HICKEY. Then hes like "I did that to her :) so people like you better stay away" LIKE I NEVER ASKED YOU TO. AND EVEN IF I DID, I FIND IT HUMILIATING THAT YOU WENT AND JUST SHOWED IT TO PEOPLE WITHOUT MY CONSENT 🙄🙄🙄🙄 LET ME GO IM NOT YOUR OBJECT

Anyways yeah I cant decide if I should keep at this route just to finish it off or just stop it and do another. I'm just so mad cause seth went from one of my top favorite ikerev characters to someone I'm just dreading to interact with because he won't stop manipulating and forcing himself upon the MC in this route 😭😭😭 he was always protective but now it's just so. you figure this wasnt such a bad thing and you werent allergic to these boys nyway so you let things happen, and let Atsumu scratch the top of your head while they were discussing things about you

Osamu proceeds to add the suspicion with the fact that he saw “you” staring at Atsumu during class like someone so lovestruck

so Osamu told him that this could just be a one-time thing (like strange conclusion but go off) and/or that you might’ve just confused him as your first crush lmao Osamu was just confusing himself but he was tryin his best to come up with explanations to ur behavior

so classes begin again,,, now Atsumu still dunno what to do with u ogling at him WHILE THE REAL YOU WAS A CAT WATCHING EVERYTHING FROM A TREE 

you was def ready to throw hands,, but thats a cat and ur against animal cruelty,,,,,,, tho its ur body anyway so whats the diff

meanwhile u coming up with a plan to end your housecat, Atsumu found you sitting on a tree and he was so shocked for his life bc last time he check he put you in a box with kitty snax, inside the gyms storage room, how in the world did you manage to get out from there??

the fake you sees you again while Atsumu was lookin at you from the window, and was enraged bc you’re taking the attention from her... hm

so you decided to face your stupid housecat head-on and get to the bottom of this bs and be grownups tgt bc no way are you just gonna donate your human life to an ungrateful animal

you look for the fake you at the back of the school, and now the Giorno theme is playing in the background sksk

your housecat was smug enuff to tell you that she had the honors of asking a favor from a spirit cat who was the reason of all this,,, and who has also taken a liking to your human soul

so you just flew in the air to scratch your human face, you didn’t care anymore, its your body, whatever, the one experiencing the pain aint u anyway but your bitchy housecat that your mum seemed to have a deeper connection with than her own child

nyway that didn’t last long cause fake you was screaming help, other students found you two, and they got a hold of you while you were in your feral state and now you were terrified of possibly getting into the animal shelter fr,,,, fake you smirked at this possibility

until sum of ur school’s vball bois saw the commotion too and what do u know, Atsumu says that the cat is his and that he apologizes to the ruckus that the cat has done 

then it was your turn to smirk at fake you

so u spend time with Atsumu again for some odd reason that keeps the two of you tgt sweat drops looks away,,, you wonder why your mum’s cat is so attached and/or attracted to Atsumu like this???

you never remember them interacting at all since the very time you see them in the same scene is when you went to have your mum’s cat checked up in the vet and Atsumu was there with their dog too

whats happening

fast forward to dismissal, you’re quite thankful you werent in trouble, same as Atsumu since he managed to tell the other students to not tell anything to the teacher that he has a cat in school kdjsk sum rotten power he holds

but you decided to ditch him again and look for fake you

you found her talking to the spirit cat that she said,, so naturally you demanded said spirit cat to give your body back to you

the spirit cat smiled wider and says that, you haven’t finished your task yet if you want to get back to your original body, you have to wait till midnight

like what in the hell was that supposed to mean, you understood nOTHING

then your housecat goes and says “maybe i should extend my stay in this body, what do you think?”

SIS YOU WENT FERAL there is no way she’s staying in your body while you are sufferin like this, in which you do not deserve. watching your housecat ruin your life like its normal like cmon

im learning how to shade skin and i figured out a method of doing it that i really like, i'm posting it here bc u asked for infodumps:

this is for firealpaca also but idk what you or ur followers use, mostly its relevant w regard to the names of diff layer types

ok so. duplicate a layer of the background color, set it under the lineart but above the flat skin color, and set the layer to multiply and clipping on the flat color layer.

take a soft brush with very low opacity and start erasing from the duplicated background layer to create highlights. at this stage the skin still looks pretty flat but the next steps will make it look more lively.

once you have your highlights, make another between the lineart and shadow layer. set the layer type to 'soft light' (idk whether this is universal, maybe overlay on a low opacity if that works better) and use very very faint reddish colors at the edges of the shadows or where they blur to create subsurface scattering.

now that that's done, you can also make bounce lighting by taking a lighter version of the background color, setting that to soft light or screen or even add if you want something really intense, and painting opposite of the highlights, where the background would reflect ambient light back onto the surface of the skin.

optionally sometimes i also make the lineart a really dark version of the background color and set that to multiply. but that's basically the method? im not sure how to post actual examples of it otherwise i would. but if u read all the way down then thank u ✨

hii I hope this is ok to ask but do u have any advice? on telling if ur trans or if it’s just an alter with a diff gender, or both? also I have dissociation, trauma, memory gaps, and changes in my opinions/gender/personally,, but no communication with alters ,,I kno nothing abt them if they exist? They won’t introduce themselves to me :(... I just know that I connect deeply with a few characters, soemtimes feeling like I Am Them- and sometimes my mannerisms/personality/behavior changes where I feel more powerful/fancy/confident ,, or childlike etc and soemtimes connected(not just relating) to a specific character ,, that’s not like me lol,, I’m very differnt than that ! but I can still ask myself who I am and say “I’m birth name! But I feel more like character/a different person” but my thought process is unlike me :o ... and I get these internal monologue/thoughts that are not things I wanna think or agree with and I try to talk over them but they just keep talking .. but I think that’s probably just intrusive thoughts, cld be alters talking it tho? but I never thought that I rlly hear voices - and I try to ask in my head if anyone else is there but I’m afraid to do so bc I’m scared I will unconsciously answer for them/fake an answer so idk what to do - I’ve tried journaling and no response ,, do u have any advice on figuring out if u have alters and how to learn more about them specifically? so yeah first off like ill always say im not a professional etc etc and i recommend you seek therapy for this either way, but for sure talk to a therapist abt whether or not ur a system !

BUT ANYWAYS! it’s normal to struggle to communicate w alters - and even then the inner dialogue/intrusive thoughts you’re talking abt sound a lot like having alters. i didnt find out abt my system until one (1) alter decided he was gonna talk to me bc everyone else purposefully didnt. i still cant talk to most of em lol. so on that front, that’s not an uncommon experience.

and neither are gender struggles!! ive thought i was everything under the sun and found out it was just other alters lmao. it’s possible youre just having normal gender confusion, ofc, and ofc it could be both, etc. (can you tell im bad at giving advice?) but yes that was also my experience!

and its also normal to feel blurred w your alters and unsure who u are which sounds like what youre describing! but yknow as usual, disclaimer, it could also be any of a number of other mental issues.

and i HELLA feel the “what if i unconsciously answer” thing but i promise you you can tell the difference. from personal experience. lmao

also idk much abt kin so fuck if i know abt “kin shifting” all my “kins” turned out to be fictives OOP

IN SUMMARY you rly cant force alters to talk to you, just like you cant force any “normal” person to talk to you, if u have em theyll make themselves known when theyre ready/when they think youre ready. its a covert disorder and youre not rly sposed to know abt it either, but obvs we all figure it out eventually lmaoo. once again you should talk to a professional to confirm but yes, what you’re describing sounds very familiar to me. hope i could help. <3
