on crowley's loneliness
there's sth that has been sitting with me vis a vis Crowley, loneliness, and what the fandom, largely, has made of it... and it is the notion, simply put, that Crowley is - well - lonely.
but of course he is, you might say, I've even got textual evidence for it! and you might quote Good Omens Season 2 Episode A Companion to Owls directed by Douglas MacKinnon and written by John Finnemore, and you might point to the final conversation of the Job Minisode, when they agree that being a demon/angel who goes along with hell/heaven as far as he can is...lonely!
and, yes, that's right and true.
and yet. still. I want to argue against Crowley being lonely. at least to some extent. I'm not saying crowley isn't lonely, it's more about how that loneliness is sometimes portrayed/interpreted/understood?
I think we need to look at Crowley's loneliness on different levels: his loneliness vis a vis humanity and his loneliness vis a vis the occult/his job/his place in the ineffable scheme of things
because it's right there in the quote, isn't it? it's lonely to be a demon who doesn't feel part of hell. it's not about being lonely on earth with the humans.
when it comes to humanity and friendships to humans, regardless how close or not they may be, Crowley is not lonely! he forms attachments, he meets and knows tons of people, he schemes, he has fun (Jane Austen anyone???? I mean it's actual canon) and yes of course they all die - of course Crowley's human friendships, just like Aziraphale's, are always slightly detached because , well y'know, they will outlive every single human they will ever meet, and that will influence your attachment style. they don't even really meet humans as equals, arguably, but they both have been shown to continuously engage in friendships, whether those are superficial acquaintances (like neighbor Maggie to Aziraphale) or genuine connections (like Leonardo Da Vinci or Jesus, both canonically really close relationships of Crowley's!!) but it's not even the fact that human friendships are fleeting that makes him lonely in the end - it doesn't cheapen the experience. he's used to people coming and going. it's the way things are.
where the loneliness hits, and yes it hits hard, is on the supernatural level. hated by heaven and hell etc etc. before he became closer with Aziraphale (so roughly around Job) he was truly a solo agent, all alone against the not-world, and this experience of defying both hell and his arguable purpose as a demon made him lonely where it mattered most. but Aziraphale has since been with him, they are the same, they are a group of the two of them and they are only lonely together, which is a different kind of loneliness. it holds defiance and partnership - us against the world.
he still struggles with purpose, both his own and that of the universe, he struggles with his own love for humans and God's seeming indifference to them, and there's loneliness in that too, or at least pain, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have any friends??
ah I think this is the bit that gets me! that people think he doesn't have any friends! or that he doesn't have a life outside of Aziraphale! there we are, I have arrived at the core of my problem apparently. (idk if I'm making any sense with this incoherent rambling, I'm making it up as I go)
but basically I just have been irked by seeing this idea a few to many times that's basically: 'aziraphale is a happy little socialite who draws friends to him like moths to an angelic flame while crowley needily and sadly and longingly waits by himself for the angel to grace him with his company' (this is slightly exaggerated maybe but you get my drift, and I'm sure you've seen takes like that) (I love pining Crowley as much as anyone believe me, and oh boy does he do pine - but you know what I mean right??) (I just love this stupid optimistic and loving demon too much)

You made it.
By the hair of a black cat, but damn it, you made it.
You look around at the scattered pack of wolves that lay dead on the cold forest floor.  Jisung circles them, observing their traits with dark eyes, down the bridge of his nose.
He’s wearied.
The black haired witch places the tip of his black boot against the face of a creature that was half transformed into a man.  It was a gruesome kill.  With a firm push, Jisung digs his sole into the beast’s cheek, turning its head to the side with a sharp “snap”.
His eyes lift, meeting Amelia’s.
“I’ve never seen anything like this.”
Amelia, with a handful of herbs from her garden, steps over the low fence to join him.
“They are beasts of my mother’s creation, so they are weak.  Conjure that can only take hold in between these worlds.”
“Should we take out the heart?” Jisung asks.
A second later, he lifts his foot up, his expression turning into disgust as the body beneath him begins to rapidly decompose, leaving slimy strings of black substance dripping from the sole of his boot.  Jisung stumbles backwards, and looks around as the other bodies decay until nothing is left.
“Let’s get to work.” Amelia affirms aloud as she turns on her heels and heads into the cabin. Jisung follows behind but allows her to go ahead of him; he stops beside you at the door.
Jisung gently touches your arm.
This time, it brings you comfort.
“How are you doin, little witch?” he asks in a soft timbre. You have been zoning in and out since making it back to the cabin alive. You look up at him. You study his expression.
“Do you think…Chan…” You start to ask, feeling meek for the first time in a long while.
Jisung is a heavy empath and is naturally quite perceptive of the emotions of others.
“Hey,” he gives you a firm squeeze on your arm, drawing you back again. “For the first and only time, I am gonna be an uncle. I’m not gonna let fucking purgatory, freak hybrid monsters, or Chan–” he points his finger to your chest before he looks up at you again.
“-get in the way of that. And you had better not either, got it?” Jisung looks down at you, feigning seriousness before the corner of his lip quirks into a shadow of a grin.
“Got it.” You answer with a warm smile.
“Do you think you’ll need to feed?”
“I guess I didn’t think that far.” You press your hands to your stomach for what feels like the first time since you’ve gotten the news.
You were in so much shock that everything was just beginning to sink in.
It wasn’t like you could feel any movement, anyhow, it was hard to believe you had already begun to incubate life inside of you.
You wondered if you were strong enough to maintain it.
“Come on, follow me.” Jisung beckons you, noticing your loss of focus, bringing you back once more.
You follow him into the cabin. The home has been coated in cloaking conjure, you can feel it the moment you step over the threshold. It feels like sudden, warm goosebumps that scatter away moments later. There is a blend of scents that hit your nose as Amelia works over a small cauldron in the fireplace of her kitchen.
“We just need a minute.” Jisung says. Amelia gives him a tense look before she turns back around and keeps mixing. You watch Jisung’s hand as it sweeps over the table, and he slips a blade under his sleeve. Keeping your head down, you follow him into the small bedroom. Jisung sits at the wooden table with two chairs, and you take the one across from him.
He begins rolling up his sleeve as he speaks.
“A few things…my blood is enormously powerful, remember what I told you? You only need a little, but you might not stop, just—be prepared for me to use force for both our safety if things go bad, ok?”
You swear you have never noticed the labyrinth of small veins that crossed over and around his lean arms as he clenches his fist in front of you. Especially the ones that mapped themselves along the top of his hands. You’re squeezing your fists under the table, it's not an unbearable craving…not something you couldn’t fight but...you feel spit pooling in your mouth. An involuntary reaction.
You quickly swallow and it makes you…at the very least…wicked uncomfortable.
“Your eyes.” Jisung breathes in wonder.
You blink on instinct and look up at him.
“Huh?” You ask.
You had been holding your breath.
Jisung hesitates for only a second before pulling out the blade. As he glides it across his forearm, his skin splits open and the blood spills. It's soaking into the wooden table. He has no natural healing ability, like his peers.
“Come on,” he says, gritting his teeth.
“You sure?” You don’t know anything about your current level of self control, and Jisung knew barely any more than you did. You could overpower him in bloodlust. You could fuck it all up.
Jisung stands up, circling and being careful to keep his dripping arm over the table, making as little mess as possible (was that ever even possible anymore in this new lifestyle?).  He’s standing behind you, and somehow, you’re still reflexively ducking your head back from his arm, despite how badly it beckoned to you like ice water on a really, hot day.
Finally, the back of your head hits his firm torso.  Jisung’s other hand grasps under your chin, a tighter grip than expected, as he presses his bleeding arm against your lips. It was strange the dichotomy you felt between equally being repulsed by blood and wanting the feeling it gave you.
You close your eyes and bring your hands to his arm, digging your fingernails into his skin as you feel yourself getting lost in the well of his power.  Each swallow brought you closer to your former self, but better, stronger.  At first, it tasted of blood, metallic and unpleasant, this was to be certain, but as it flowed freely, it was also cool and as refreshing as a mountain spring.  You don't hear Jisung’s words until you feel the sharp tug of his hand against the curls on your scalp, bringing your head back from your unintended bloodlust.
Your chest heaves with your pants as you feel the waves subsiding from inside of you.
Jisung is looking down at you, hand still secured in your locks as he quirks a thick, dark eyebrow at you.
“Kinda greedy, don’tcha think, little witch?” He says with a bit of admonition in his voice.
“That’s what Chan said too.”
You grin, crimson smeared on your lips and chin.
Jisung lets you go, trusting you’ve come back to your senses, and you watch as he rips a piece of the flimsy cloth from the bedsheet and wraps it around his arm, to stop the bleeding.
“I can’t heal you?” You ask, curiously.
“I’m not sure yet; but we can’t take a chance yet. Don’t worry about me.” He flexes and constricts his fingers, considering the pain manageable before he stands to his feet.
“Let’s go.”
He leaves the bedroom, and you stand to your feet, wiping what’s left of the blood from your chin and onto your clothes.  You couldn’t put it past you how…salacious the whole encounter felt.  Jisung handled things like a professional, but for you, it felt strangely…intimate.  Now his blood coursed through your system, at least temporarily, and your level of awareness seemed to collide with his.  You knew how far he was and felt a sudden breathlessness you hadn’t experienced prior.
Somehow, your hand ends up on your tummy once more.
Did you feel something just–
Not now.
You set off into the kitchen to join Jisung and Amelia.
—-----------------------------------------------------
Everything is prepared for the ceremony, and the three brothers along with Emily, gather ‘round, the fire burning bright between both still bodies, and in the center of the circle.
They all exchange glances over the fire at one another, waiting as Emily whispers under her breath and casts the bloodied fabric into the flame.  Once she steps back into the circle, she looks across to Chan and nods.
He’s still not sure of this plan, and he didn’t like to gamble with uncertainty.  Chan takes a breath.  How had he fallen so hard, so fast?  For it to come this, was it always going to come to this?
Would he die too?
Never had he lost the pulse of a human and gained it back without turning them, lest they were a skilled conjurer, like Jisung.  However, this? It bordered on the impossible.
But then again, they were proof of the existence of the impossible.
Chan lets the thought drift away and bites into his right hand, followed by his left. Blood surges forth.  Felix, to his left, does the same and the two brothers hold hands.  Hyunjin looks cross with annoyance as he goes last.  He takes Chan’s hand.
“You owe me.” He seethes as he watches Emily slice into both of her palms and he, unwillingly, takes her bleeding hand into his.
Hyunjin didn’t like sharing his blood with anyone.  Especially a witch of dubious allegiance.
Chan has a hard time not rolling his eyes as he looks over at Felix.  His younger brother was focused on the flames. Something about him was off, beyond the loss of you and Jisung. None of the brothers had time to dissect each other’s emotions, however.
Felix didn’t express it outwardly much, because that wasn’t in his character; but he was shaken by the whole ordeal.  He was also still coping with figuring out the feelings he was experiencing. It was strange, how the psychology of the mind evolves when you’ve been conscious for thousands of years.
Your warmth had given his life a little airiness, a sort of lift that made him feel…lighter.  He had phased out those sides of himself so long ago, he forgot he was able to drop his guard at all.
Felix was used to the death of his loved ones, but the feeling never became easier to bear, he just became better at hiding it.  He knew it was illogical, but he still felt heavy guilt for bringing Jisung this far into their fight.  Of course, he was perfectly capable of standing on his own; but Jisung was living a quiet, secluded life away from danger for good reason.  Now, he’s dead because of it.
“Hey.”
Chan’s voice breaks Felix’s trance, and the blonde vampire blinks slowly, his eyes joining his elder brother’s.
He looks tired.
“Thank you.”
Felix manages a humble, tender smile. He replies, his tone croaked and low,
“Anything for family.”
—---------------------------
Amelia corks the glass bottle and steps forward, handing it to you.  You take it, feeling its warmth.  It's small, barely the length of your palm, and it has a twine rope securely attached to prevent its loss on the journey back.
“How do we know they haven’t just consecrated us?”
“No chance.  I’d feel it, and so would you.  You would know.” Jisung shakes his head, disagreeing with your anxious thoughts.
Amelia takes your hand in her own and clasps her other hand atop it as she gathers your attention all-at-once.
“I knew Christophe for a very long time.  He will not stop until he’s found you.  He never stops fighting for the ones he chooses to love. Hyunjin loves being challenged, his persistence and thirst for the blood of his foes is useful for the ones he chooses to protect.  Felix may not be as brazen, because he is afraid.  He is afraid of how strong and deep his love runs for the ones he chooses to trust.  You and he went behind Christophe’s back and sacrificed yourself; he will spend an eternity bringing you back to make things right once more.”
Amelia’s words bring you a little more comfort.  It wasn’t as if you had time to be coddled and pep-talked to anyhow.  You had no perception of time in this world, but it had to have been some hours now, and you all had to start moving; quickly.
“Here.” Jisung hands you the blade from earlier and you tuck it into your boot.
“Remember once you break skin, your blood will alert everyone to where you are.  Move with no hesitation. Begin the spell with the blood of your child, it is your rope to climb back out.”
Your fingers curl around the bottle hanging from your neck that held the blood the three of you collected earlier from your womb.
Amelia brushes past you both and opens the door.  You follow her and can feel where the protection barrier ends abruptly.  It’s as if a sonic wave is being emitted from where you stand, and you feel the shock rattle your being as the hair on your neck begins to prickle in that troubling and familiar way that you were growing accustomed to.
“Move quick, somethin’s wrong.” You whisper as the three of you break into a run into the thicket of forestry.  In the distance you hear branches snapping that echo above your heads.  You are occupied for just a second too long by looking above you, and you trip over a thick fallen branch.
“Above you!” You push yourself up to your feet as you see a swift, black shadow moving from tree to tree, closing in. Reflexively, you take off, the screeches and howls merging into a horrific cacophony of noise as it announces their presence in vast numbers.  It’s as if a mob of unidentifiable beasts had been waiting right at the perimeter of the spell.
Ahead of you, there’s a flash, and you hear an ear-piercing, inhuman cry.  As you catch up to Jisung and Amelia, three of the same creatures from earlier lay dead on the ground.
“They can fucking fly?” Jisung shouts, wiping the trickle of blood that ran from his ear and onto his jaw.  It was becoming more difficult for him to conjure without repercussions now.  Even Jisung had not met predators this unpredictable and overpowering.
You close your eyes, trying to feel what you felt that night at the warehouse.  The way the power just overcame you.  Knowledge, you had never known before.  Why couldn’t you tap into it again?  You had fed from Jisung, surely you had clearer access to his capabilities?  Wasn’t that how these things worked?
You get distracted by the heavy silence and open your eyes, looking around in alarm.
“I heard a ton of them in the trees, like they were right on me where–where did they go?” You stammer.
“They weren’t here to kill us.” Amelia looks around as the realization becomes clear. “They ran us off our path.  Distracted us.”
“Why would they do that, don’t they want us to get to the gate? To trap us there?”
Amelia’s face begins to cloud over with newfound confidence.  “Because their trap is not ready.  They are stalling.”
“I have a feeling about this direction then.” You point off to the far left.  The other two nod and you’re kicking up leaves in your wake as you lean into the light boost in your speed.
Oddly enough still, you sense nothing.
Maybe...you had finally gotten a stroke of luck and had a small window of opportunity to get ahead.
“Little Witch!”
You freeze.
“Little Witch!”
The voice is young, female, and unfamiliar to you.  Everyone stops dead in their tracks.  You start to call out, but Amelia shushes you and Jisung holds an arm in front of you, both at the same time.
“Jisung! Over there!” The extinguished fire you all had sat around earlier was a short distance off indicating your initial point of entry.
“Yeah, but who the fuck was that?”
“This might be a trap.  Perhaps we weren’t so lucky after all…” Amelia mumbles quietly as she looks around, observing the darkness, honing in on her intuitive senses.
“ Yo!” Jisung yells, reaching out to grab for you as you take hold of an impulse and sprint for the clearing.
You can hardly believe it when your feet touch the ground by the burned logs and ashes scattered into the dirt.  Your heart is racing out of your chest.  You have only one chance, and you’d be damned if you don’t take it.
Move with no hesitation.
Right.
You’re only a moment away from uncorking the bottle from around your neck, when you hear twigs snap underneath what sounded to be dainty feet.  Your head whips around as you grip the bottle tight around your neck and prepare for an attack.
You never expected the disembodied voice from earlier to belong to the young, blonde witch who appears into the clearing and joins you.  She looks relieved, and happy to see you, which was a stark opposition to how you felt.  When she takes a couple of excited paces in your direction, you take a large step back and hold your hand in front of you.
She comes to a halt.
“Who are you?” You bark, your pulse almost making you dizzy with how heavily you were breathing.  Your patience feels thinner than what was normal for you, and as you breathe out, Emily’s skin begins to emit a haze of smoke, she looks down at her arms, realizing the burning sensation her body was beginning to feel from the inside out.
“Talk.” You finally can sense the conjure creeping up your legs, as if it was being fed into the soles of your feet from the earth beneath you.
“H-Hold on, please! I’m here, I’m here to–” Emily doubles over in pain, steam propels out of her mouth as she coughs.
“Faster.”
“Chris–”
You’re caught off guard and the sensation leaves the blonde witch altogether as she takes in fresh oxygen rapidly, holding herself up off the ground while she recovers.
Jisung and Amelia run forward; they had no idea of your capacity to conjure and waited to step in only if you needed help.  It was precise timing, because as Amelia heads over to address Emily, you reach out to Jisung, grasping his arm as a dizzy spell washes over you, making you nauseous.
“Hey, hey, are you okay? What’s happening right now?” Jisung grasps you by your upper arms, worriedly looking between you and Amelia, who is now kneeling face to face with the stranger.
“I-I don’t know Jisung I think I overdid it...”
“Shit, come on, over here, sit down for a second.”
“You’re here from the other side, I can feel it.” Amelia quietly says aloud, dark brows drawing together and deeply hypnotic gaze dancing over the young girl’s face as she tries to recognize her.
“Please, we don’t have much time.  I’m connected to them all, Chris, Felix and Hyunjin.  I-I didn’t think she would be here b-but–”
“You could be another trap, or distraction for all we know.  Who are you?” Jisung demands once he stands back to his feet from helping you safely rest against a large stone.
“I’m Emily, they brought me to help just please-” Emily looks to you desperately, “He’s broken without you, they all are, look–I don’t know what magick you put on those brothers but, they are desperate to have you back.  Hyunjin is back, and they still need you.”
Amelia stands up and looks at Jisung, who is still unconvinced.
You can feel your head clearing as you take the moment of strength and stand to your feet, pushing the two aside so you can look down at Emily for yourself, and take all of her in.
“Chan sent you here?” Your voice breaks as you curl your fists, squeezing them to hold back tears.
“Yes.  And Felix, and Hyunjin, they asked me to bring their best friend and little witch back by any means.” Emily looks over to Jisung, who’s face stays unreadable.  “I assume the best friend, is you?”
Jisung rolls his eyes before he takes you by the arm.  “Come on little witch, let’s keep going with the original plan.” He reaches down to your ankle, lifting your pant leg and pulling forth the blade.
“Wait! You don’t have to break skin here, you can come with me.  I have a gate open, but not for much longer.” Emily calls out as Jisung takes your hand in his own, ready to spill your blood.
He stops and looks to you for confirmation.  He didn’t take anything this woman said seriously, but he wasn’t going to conjure with your blood without your explicit consent.
“I don’t know Jisung, even Amelia said he wouldn’t stop until he found us, maybe we’ve finally just gotten lucky.” You start to backpedal.
Jisung drops your hand with a heavy sigh.  “You don’t seriously believe her? You think now, as soon as we are about to break open the gate, that we magically have some witch coming out of the woods who’s on our side to painlessly take us back to the other side?”
Jisung’s logic made sense; and he was far more experienced in these kinds of things than you were. He holds the knife up as he walks up to Emily. “Where were you when we were being attacked by those flying fucking hybrid freaks?!”
“I was the witch that ran the shop that Chris came into.  I didn’t know my aunt was going to try to kill him, when everyone was killed I–I tried to help Felix but Chris, he chased me away…” Emily babbles.  You remember when Chris first told you what had happened.  That’s why you, Felix and Jisung had to meet him in the town to begin with.
This was the baby witch who had set him up.
“What’s your process to bring back two souls without blood conjure?” Amelia queries, her energy guarded.
“I’m channeling them all now.  I’ve already done the blood conjure on the other side. I have just enough power to drag them back through the gate. It’s the child. It’s tethering her.”  Emily reaches her hand out towards you.  You look down at it, and then up to her large, blue eyes.
Something about this woman was deeply unsettling.
You look to Jisung and nod, holding your other hand out for him to take ahold of.
“I don’t know about this, little witch…you don’t think this feels too good to be true?”
You give him a sad smile.  “Unfortunately, I don’t have time to figure that out.  Please?”
Jisung’s eyes hover over your stomach before they meet yours once more.  He doesn’t respond verbally, instead, just firmly grasping your hand within his own.  No matter what happened, he couldn’t leave you deserted.
You two both look over at Amelia, who slowly backs away from the three of you.  You can see tears in her eyes. Up until this point, you had forgotten that she couldn’t come back with you.
Her soul would be shredded.
That sounded like an awful feeling.
“Thank you.” You speak.
“You're most welcome, little witch.  Please, protect yourself, by any means necessary, am I understood?”
You nod with a sniff.
Emily gives your hand a gentle squeeze and you look back at her.
“I’m ready.”
As you take a deep breath, ready to feel the ground drop out from underneath you, instead, you feel another dizzy spell come on.  You begin to stumble but can’t seem to let go.
Jisung falls to his knees, his hand yanking you down with him as he begins to violently vomit up blood.
You can hear the mob of creatures screaming into the air and shaking the treetops as you realize what’s happening.
Emily’s body is glowing, a bright white color that starts to feel like hot metal in your palm.
She lied to you.
You’re screaming.  You can’t let go.  Jisung can’t let go.
It wasn’t supposed to happen like this.
The last things you hear is Amelia’s voice shouting, Jisung choking on blood, and the heavy footsteps of many beasts approaching, and it all sounds like the most horrific nightmare you could ever imagine as the vertigo blacks you out completely.
—-----------------------------
Chan and Hyunjin both collapse to the ground, their bodies totally limp.  They stay unconscious for only a few seconds before they begin to prop themselves upright, coming to.  Chan’s eyes come into focus, and he bears witness to Felix, standing across the fire.
Locks of white hair stick to the side of his face, and his dappled cheeks are stained with only barely dried tears.
He’s holding Emily’s head between his hands, her neck snapped, and body hanging limp and lifeless.  Felix’s eyes haze over as he stares off into the distance.
Chan slowly stands to his feet.  He saw everything that happened.  They all did.  They were utterly powerless, unable to even move while being channeled. It was Felix, who had wooed Emily into giving him her blood before the ceremony. Only he had enough knowledge of conjure to carve the sigil into his flesh, behind her back, to press her blood in and merge it with his own as his skin healed over in seconds.
He was now able to hijack the connection when something would inevitably go wrong.
The brothers could only bear witness as Emily revealed her deceit at the final moment.
It was the pale, white haired vampire brother who broke the chain and killed the infant witch in less than a second.
Felix drops Emily’s body, and it crumples to the ground as his hands slowly rest back at his side once again.
Hyunjin is quiet, his hands in his pocket as he stands aside watching his two brothers.  He feels sick to his stomach for the fact that he had even contributed to something so heinous. Especially when he knew this would happen, and had vehemently spoke out against it.
Chan moves past Felix slowly, one footstep after another, until he reaches your body.
He takes your hand in his own.
He presses it against his lips;
and begins to sob.
Chan’s body shakes with the violent purge of his emotion. He weeps and apologizes, and weeps and apologizes, over and over and over again.  He squeezes you, and yells out profane cries of defeat.
Yet once he’s about to release your hand, your back arches as you take in a large gasp.  It’s not until you hear Jisung’s coughing seconds later that you begin to take in your surroundings and realize where you are.
Chan rises in front of you, standing to his feet, your hand still within his own.  You’ve never seen him in such awe; but the same could be said about you.
You look down at your joined hands and squeeze a little, trying to make sure the cold hand you felt was really that of your big, bad wolf.
“Oh fuck, Y/N.” his shaky voice falters through thick tears that spill down his face as he pulls you into his chest.  That was only perhaps the second, maybe third time he had spoken your true name aloud. Hearing it made everything feel that much more real right now.
You hold Chan close, underneath his arms, curling your fingers into his shirt, feeling the flexed muscles in his back as he nearly pops you with the force of his embrace.  You cry like a baby, snot and tears soaking into the fabric of his black clothing as you murmur all kinds of nonsensical phrases into him, finally feeling the overwhelming emotions of everything you had been through spilling out all at once.
Chan pulls himself back to look at you once more, to confirm that you were real, before he plants his lips against yours, holding your face between his hands, still unable to understand how he could feel this feeling again; feel your hands tangle in his ocean blue hair as you desperately try to find air from his own lungs. The wood smoke was mingled into his hair with the scent of his shampoo. You breathed in his faintly scented cologne as it wrapped around you like a cashmere blanket, enveloping you in the full sensory experience of being alive.
And his teeth.
You had been quick to forget just how sharp his canines were as his fervent need to consume you caused your tongue and inner lips to become marked by his carelessness and desire.
Suddenly, Chan pulls himself away from you, with a puzzled look as he lets go of you completely.
You notice the tip of his tongue briefly dances over the blood stained on the corner of his lower lip and his eyes widen as he approaches you with such a supernatural haste, that you jump back.  His hand caresses the side of your face.
“Your blood.  Little witch you-you’re–”
“Pregnant.” You breathe.
The soft conversation that was taking place between Hyunjin and Jisung came to a screeching halt.
Felix, who stands against a nearby tree, at once looks up from his trance.
If you didn’t think you could sneak up on a hybrid before, well,
You just did.
“Surprise?” You offer hesitantly.
“I did always fancy myself a rich Uncle.” Hyunjin says proudly, his eyes lighting up with his smile as he comes over to give you a hug.  “Welcome to the family, pretty witch.” The red headed vampire winks and steps aside.
You look at Chan, who still stands in front of you, his dark eyes locked onto your stomach. You weren’t even showing.  Instinctively, you lay your hands atop it because you notice he doesn’t exactly seem…happy.
“You guys got a change of clothes I can get into?” Jisung asks, gesturing for Felix and Hyunjin to follow him into the house, allowing you and Chan privacy.  As they walk off together, Jisung glances over his shoulder at you and gives you a small nod before he’s gone.
Chan joins you, leaning his backside against the surface, his fingers tapping the rough stone as he grips the edge of it. He was very clearly nervous.
“Look, I know it’s not the safest situation for us to be in–”
“The safest?” Chan lets out a sigh as he turns around and rests his forearms on the surface, his fingers clasp together as he lifts his brow and shakes his head, staring down into his hands.  “The last time this happened, the love of my life was ripped from me. She was brought back through the deceit of my brother. I crossed oceans for her.  I swore to myself that I’d never feel those feelings again, and then here you come along, nothing but trouble.” Chan glances up at you with a smirk before his eyes fall upon his potential child.
The shadow of his smile begins to fade.
“I would walk through fire for you. I almost lost you once, I promise I can’t take it twice.”
“Who’s to say you’ll lose me?  Edith is gone, we have Jisung back, we’re safe now, aren’t we?”
Chan looks back up to you. Your naivety was both charming and sad. Sad because, he hated to be the one to dampen that moonlight you naturally gave out.  Charming because, you always found a way to give him hope when he felt like he was losing it.
“Out of the hundreds of years I’ve been alive, I have never felt safe. Ever.” He stands upright once more and merges between your legs that hang from the edge of the platform that held your lifeless body less than an hour ago.  Chan's hands soothingly stroke up and down the top of your thighs as he looks into your eyes.
“Little witch, I couldn’t be happier about us having a family.  You don’t know what I went through while you were gone, how much I missed…this.  I’m sorry if I’m coming off like a dick, I just already feel like…this need…this gnawing discomfort at how vulnerable you are, we are right now.  I still can’t rest until you’re as close to safe as we can get.”  Chan explains.
You find his protective nature endearing, it's something you’ve always liked about him, especially because he gave you room to be your own self.  He protects you not for selfish reasons, but because of how highly he has grown to value you.
The corner of your lip quirks up into a smile.  “I feel it too.  Is it a wolf thing?”
“It’s probably a wolf thing.”
You two share a laugh for the first time since you’ve returned.  It's pleasingly cathartic.  Chan helps you down and you both head into the house, as the sun is beginning to peek above the Horizon.  You’re about to follow Chan upstairs, when you notice Felix, sitting alone at the long table they had in their dining room.  He traces small circles into the mahogany wooden tabletop with his middle finger, his other fingers dragging along, barely touching the surface.
You glance up to Chan, who is a few steps ahead of you on the staircase.
“I’ll be right up.” You say softly.
“I’ll get you a bath started. Take your time.” Chan reassures.  He leans down and kisses your crown before he leaves.  You go back down into the dining room and walk around until you’ve reached the chair to his right.  You pull it out, silently taking a seat.  He continues his invisible design.  You look at him for a little while before you reach out, pulling him into an embrace.
Felix’s body tenses up underneath you.  You hold him ever tighter still, breathing in his familiar scent.  Sure enough, you feel icy hands circle around your waist as he holds you close, his nose nestles into the crook of your neck.  The blood that used to torture him with temptation before was now such a comforting rhythm to the background noise.  Your smell brought back sensory memories of you two laughing together over human groceries and games he barely understood.
“I’m sorry.” He finally breathes and you two separate as you take a seat once more.  Felix reads the confusion in your expression and volunteers an explanation.
“I knew Emily was never on our side, but without Jisung, there was no other way to open the gates.  I had to bring her in, to make her believe we trusted her.  I couldn’t tell anyone, they would never have agreed to it.  They barely did this way I just—I’m so sorry little witch, for everything we’ve put you through.  For everything I’ve put you through.”
“Felix, I may not have volunteered to come here, but I chose to stay here.  I told you to sacrifice me.  And guess what? It worked because here I am.  Living, breathing; and ready to kick your ass in another round of Uno.”
He chuckles and it makes you smile.
“You’re carrying my brother’s child.” he says as he lifts a brow.  “Times are a lot different than back when Amelia was around.  I still barely understand how it works.”  He hesitates before he finally asks, “Will you let me find out more?”
“You want me to be your guinea pig for your magick science project research thing you’re always cooped up in the library doing?”
“If you were to put it in the most elementary terms, I suppose I’d say it like that.”
His seriousness causes you to break out into laughter.  You reach out your hand to shake his.
“Deal.”

iii. I love video games especially horizon zero dawn and la noire. (I actually do have tlou remastered game but I don't play it, I didn't buy it, I had gotten three free games when my ps4 was brought and it was one of the games)
iv. I hate zombies, they're the only mythical creatures I hate.
v. I'm learning how to draw (it's so hard).
vi. I have a coffee addiction.
vii. I have Arachnophobia (fear of spiders), I hate them motherfuckers.
viii. I love snakes, held two of them in my life.

Listening to TMA for the first time (Part VII)
Part I II III IV V VI
81-100
#81 A Guest for Mr. Spider: Ok, that was an interesting way to begin the season for sure. I do like the narrative that John has always been surrounded by these Entities, just out of reach until one day he won't be. Barely managing to get away time after time until he fulfills his purpose I guess? Anyway, good to know that Leitner books can take anyone away as long as they are able to read, no age requirement necessary. And I'm sorry John but I didn't doubt for a second that you were an annoying child
#82 The Eyewitnesses: Damn no wonder she doesnt go around sharing the origin of her nickname. It's so interesting to get to see more of Elias, up until now he's been just kinda doing his own thing, not really helping anyone too much. He can arrange for the CO2 cans but not security cameras, just decides to give John the key to the tunnels, only intervenes with the others when tension is too high. Is he like a manifestation of the Eye? He can tell your life story from a glance or at least when youve encountered the supernatural, knows everything about the Institute and its employees, and I'm sure will have something to do with John coming back to the archives. Weird guy. Also maybe he was the one to turn on the recorder? Or is it just sentient?
#83 Drawing a Blank: Ah ok so if I understand them the Stranger is anything that isnt quite human, just a bit off, just a bit uncanny. But is it enough that they are uncanny or do they need to take the place of someone? Or are those two different things/beings? Also may I just mention how nice of Georgie to let John stay at her house, and how gratefull they should be that John never takes about his other connections? friends??
#84 Possesive: Oh really can't trust Elias even a little bit anymore can we? Poor Martin with no way of knowing what he might do to anyone can't even warn Melanie properly. Hope we get to hear when Tim finds out and they should also really read her in on what they've gathered so far. I like her and wanted to see more of her, but not like this. Although I have to saw I'm not actually surprised, it felt like it was building up to it, maybe cause she was in the Institute so much it claimed her? Oh and what is that "to whoever is listening"? If they're just records then it's not completely unusual that who reads them switches, why the need to point it out? narrative reasons maybe but feels a bit obvious.
#85 Upon the Stairs: I think all of the possibly perspectives to look at the statements John has recieved are valid. Michael is dangerous. Many were once people but can't go back in a sense. And I'm sure they are sent by someone in the Archives, like Elias maybe? Love that John can interact like "normal" people with someone, can make a joke about a guy your friend is gonna date.
#86 Tucked In: I find it quite funny that both Martin and Tim are not confortable making statements for whatever reason, maybe because it's something only The Archivist does or just the general situation. This does go with my headcannon that John can give it that extra emphasis and feeling because he's the Head Archivist, kinda like Elias in a way. Although Melanie was quite good, love how she's still hesitant to believe the whole thing. And nice of her to agree to meet John, and of course he's paranoid enough to record just out in the world.
#87 The Uncanny Valley: wow, that was a dense episode. So this poor man encountered the operation by which these things wear human faces (like the mannequin at the store, the humans stuffed with saw dust, maybe even changelings), which is run by I Do Not Know You. They want to carry out the Unknowing, in collaboration with the Lightless Flame. Those are th ones seen with Agnes who could burn things and maybe the delivery guys??? The woman that had accompanied Agnes more closely is Jude Perry. Still a ton of questions: is the Devastion and the Unkowing the same? Have we encountered Jude Perry in a statement before? Who is Orsinov and is he related to the circus? Why is the circus now stalking John? And can someone please give Georgie and explanation and a medal for being such a good friend.
#88 Dig: Damn so it's the same calliope, how did they get a hold of it? Was it Elias? Did the Eye just kinda facilitated it to the circus? Also love how unsettled they all seem when they finish reading statements, nvm just John, the institute just kinda gives them the ability to really tell it how it is. I'm guessing Melanie was asking around because she's helping John. Weird that they don't remember the statement about the calliope, maybe they really just do some research but don't really read the statements.
#89 Twice as Bright: that was so cool!!! finally an insight into the Lightless Flame, kind how that lot feels, a bit of how the Eye also works. Also interesting how Perry says that it will consume you if you don't feed it. So maybe Gertrude investigating into things fed it and she was only killed because Elias deemed it so. So maybe John having like something to investigate is making him more stable??? And nice to know that John has an actual ability, weird as it may be. But also is there gonna be anything left of him by the end??? Scars from worms, burnt hand, what's next?
#90 Body Builder: I'm still wondering (maybe I'm slow on picking it up) is the tape just pressing itself whenever someone enters the room???
#91 The Coming Storm: web imagery but that's not the main thing obviously. Good to see John finally starting to learn what he can do, but still not enough John. So Daisy just goes around trying to kill the manifestation of entities? And hoefully that's not the last of Mike we see, it was nice to see how he operates. And would that work? Sure John is the Archivist but Elias is still part of the Institute, the Eye, who could triumph over the other? Or maybe just a stillmate? omg only when i listened to the next did I really understand that John was strangled, he's really just gonna be scars by the end of this.
#92 Nothing besides remains: well thanks Elias I guess for explaining most of those things. So Daisy will remain basically hired muscle for when Elias wants to, Basira is now tied to the Institute, indeed Elias has near unlimited power for aything pertaining the Eye but needs things to naturally develope so it doesn't interfere (or something??? so that it goes with the nature of the Eye i guess), John is back to work and will continue to slowly investigate more on this Unknowing ritual to stop the world from ending basically. What a good buildup to all of this it was, still hoping we'll see more of Michael, sure Elias doesn't like him but more because its a loose canon.
#93 Contaminant: well don't just leave it at that Georgie, give John a statement. Was she one of its victims?? Also I really hope that John manages to keep a nice normal friend outside the Archives, though I'm not hopeful. At least I hope nothing happens to the Admiral.
#94 Dead Woman Walking: I knew I would eat my words about Georgie being normal as soon as the last episode ended but still, damn. Well at least she's still alive and can maybe understand John so there's that. And yes John they have already told you that it still takes some effort, both Mike and Elias said that i believe, at least Elias, you're the Archivist now learn to listen and process.
#95 Absent Without Leave: Poor Martin, can't even have a breakdown in peace, but yeah it sounds like Basira that she would just stroll along, that's been her life since she's been sanctioned anyway.
#96 Return to Sender: Good to know that John still has a ways to go before he really gets how to compel. So he still needs to learn what to ask, how to ask and that his questions can give them as many answers as he gets. So now the Mimic thing knows that the Skin is loose somewhere or at least that the Archivist doesn't know where it is.
#97 We All Ignore the Pit: not a big surprise, but nice to know that the things that are mimics are the same at the circus. Weird to want that skin but okay to each their own. I just hope Orsinov didn't use Georgie's or the Adminal's voice box. Again John really is the punching bag of the entities
#98 Lights Out: oh Melanie, please be careful, i really like you. Hope John can come back soon so that poor Martin can stop reading statements, it kinda takes even more out of him than it usually does John. Good to know the Eye just kinda records whenever it can and wnats to. I understand how frustrating it must be Tim but it still recorded a conversation, get used to it.
#99 Dust to Dust: I think I'm starting to understand the running joke of "you look away for a second and John has been kidnapped again". Well that doesn't sound good for him, wonder if anyone will notice him or what they'll do to him. Give him a break you things, hes basically new to the whole thing, even Perry said it took her a while to understand.
#100 I Guess You Had To Be There: so you can really tell when John doesn't show up at work I guess. So which Lukas is that? Is that the fincé? Or the one at sea? Or maybe they're the same, I'll be honest I have difficulty retaining the names. Even if they were all over the place the stories do bear resemblance to known entities: Agnes, the thing about the tunnels and the spider thing.

Scream Series: A 2023 Ranking
Tumblr media
The Halloween season is again upon us, it seemed like as good a time as any to revisit and update a post of mine from nearly two years ago about my favorite horror film series now six films in. What has always appealed to me is the underlying mystery in each film. Who will don the Ghostface persona this time? Who will live to see another sunrise? Who will die at the killer’s hand? Add to this the fact the murderer is always human, never supernatural, and you have the ingredients for an intriguing story. It could happen to you.
6.  Scream 4 (2011)
Woodsboro, California is once again haunted by a killer donning the Ghostface costume fifteen years after the original massacre. Can the Woodsboro survivors stop the killings in time, or will the culprit be successful in completing his or her morbid plan? I loved the commentary on celebrity and social media. The kills were also among the most gruesome in the entire series and very creative. That said, the so-called rules presented by wannabe Randys were the least believable, and (I’m not sure if this age catching up with me) the teenagers were very self-absorbed, and hard to like. Only Kirby and maybe Trevor and Robbie were in anyway likable. The motivation was horribly shallow and a pale imitation of the original. I loved the ending death an ironic nature of the news broadcasts. Ultimately, I do not hate this film. I like all of them in series, but this appeals to me the least and one film had to come in last.
5.  Scream 5 aka Scream (2022)
Twenty-six years have passed from the first attacks in Woodsboro, and someone is attacking relatives of the original group.  What sort of game does the Ghostface killer have in mind this time?  What secret could have could have caused Sam Carpenter to leave Woodsboro all those years ago?  Will the survivors of the previous attacks escape again?  It can be fun to revisit the origins of franchise and this one does not disappoint.  The rules are fit the Scream universe in general, and the new characters are all great. The motivation is an excellent commentary on toxic fandoms.  I adore the return of “Red Right Hand” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and the clever tribute to the late Wes Craven.  Overall, this film is at a solid fifth place.
4.  Scream 2 (1997)
Another string of murders involving Ghostface occur in and around Windsor College in Ohio one year after Woodsboro. A copycat killer is on the loose who will not rest until the survivors of the Woodsboro Massacre are dead and plans on taking out others along the way starting with a young couple at an early screening of Stab. The deaths were more gruesome, and, like many fans, I was upset by one that I will not mention so as not to spoil it for those who haven’t seen it. This film is a solid sequel, the rules masterful, and the mastermind behind it all one of the best in the series. I rank this fourth in my favorites not because of its quality, but due to my other preferences.
3.  Scream 3 (2000)
Three years after the events at Windsor, someone is killing the cast of Stab 3 in and around Hollywood, California dressed as Ghostface and leaving pictures of Maureen Prescott with handwritten notes on the back. Someone doesn’t want secrets of the past to remain buried and is willing to kill in order to draw out the Woodsboro survivors. Many have considered this the worst in the series, and I can understand why. The characters don’t have as much depth (with the exception of Jennifer), the story less plausible, and the kills the least gruesome (partially from the aftermath of the Columbine Massacre). That said, I usually consider this now my third favorite in the series. The rules are solid, I love the callbacks to the first film, and the culprit is my favorite out of the lineup (though the execution could have been better). It feels like the concluding chapter of a trilogy, and I have more fun watching it than most of the others.
2.  Scream VI (2023)
It’s lead up to Halloween, one year later, in New York City; what better way to stalk your victims than to hide in plane sight among the revelers?  Only this time, some seems to be counting down leaving behind masks from the previous attacks.  What will happen when once the clock strikes one?  Why are the past attacks so significant?  Can the survivors safely navigate The City That Never Sleeps without also being cut down themselves?  While I understand the frustration many had with the absence of an important member of the cast, I can say the absence of that person did not pull the film down.  The cast is excellent, the Rules of a Franchise amusing, and the various twists shocking.  This one had all the fun nostalgia of the third film with none of its drawbacks and mixes it with the most appropriate of holidays.  All of it was enough to land a second-place finish.
1.  Scream (1996)
A year after the rape and murder of Maureen Prescott, the town of Woodsboro, California is plagued by a string of murders committed by a villain wearing a Halloween costume, wielding a knife, and taunting victims through various phone calls. Someone has watched too many horror films and is taking things way too seriously. Can Sidney Prescott and her friends survive? As with any horror franchise, it is always difficult to outdo the original. I adore this cast of characters, the Rules of Surviving a Horror Movies, and the shocking ending with believable motives. It has yet to be supplanted as my favorite in the series.

My Adult Animation Recommendation List
Below is a list of adult animation I would recommend to anyone who wants to watch animation with deeper meaning than crude jokes and sexual humor.
Tumblr media
Serving as a spinoff from Hazbin Hotel, Helluva Boss is about I.M.P, (Immediate Murder Professionals), who are a trio of imps who go to the Living World to assassinate humans for bitter Sinners in Hell. Rowdy Blitz leads the team of married couple Moxxie, a weapons expert and sharpshooter, and Millie, a rough and tumble imp with a penchant for slaughter. Sometimes they are assisted by Blitz's adopted daughter, Loona, a hellhound serving as a receptionist who is addicted to her phone and antisocial.
While there are sex jokes and crude human, there are hidden depths as the show is about relationships between family, co-workers, and both romantically and non-romance. It also carries themes of domestic abuse, classism, and trauma.
Currently the first season is complete and the second season is nearly half complete and available to watch for free on Youtube. It's an indie projected funded by Patreon, monetized videos, and fans buying merch and with each episode drawing in millions of views within the first hour of release, this is an instant hit.
Tumblr media
The first of its kind, Spawn was released late night on the HBO channel. It featured anti-hero Al Simmons who makes a deal with a demon to return to Earth to see his beloved wife, Wanda once again. However, he is returned years later with a severely burned body and Wanda has since moved on, marrying his best friend Terry and has a daughter. Unable to cope with the loss, Spawn haunts the alleyways of New York, becoming an impromptu protector of the homeless, defending them from anyone who intrudes on their home, whether its mobsters, crooked cops, or other supernaturals.
Spawn is meant for mature audiences with depictions of sexual content, nudity, and severe violence. It's a plot that takes itself seriously and there are no gags or jokes. It ran the length of three seasons and can be watched on Max.
Tumblr media
Based on the comic created by Robert Kirkman, creator of the Walking Dead comic, we meet Mark Grayson, the teenage son of Omniman, a Superman like hero with super strength and flight. When Mark comes of age, he finally comes into his powers and is ready to take on the moniker Invincible to follow in his father's foot steps. However, there is a conspiracy afoot in the superhero community which will end in conflict and heartbreak.
What starts off a typical animated superhero tv show, inverts itself by the end of the first episode. Be warned, there is plenty of blood and violence as this tv series doesn't pull any punches when it comes to realistic violence between super powered individuals.
The first season can be found on Amazon Prime with a second season coming out next year.
Tumblr media
Brilliant series from Netflix. What's great about is that while it is based off a video game series, you don't have to be a player or familiar with the game at all. I have never played nor plan to play League of Legends, but that didn't stop me from being engrossed int his amazing series.
Two sisters, Vi and Powder are orphaned during a failed uprising of oppressed Zaun against the wealthy city of Piltover. Through a series of tragedies the girls find themselves as adults on opposite sides of the conflict as the war between Zaun and Piltover brews up again.
Beautiful animation, layered thoughtful story with wonderfully written characters which tackles themes of war, oppression, mental illness, technology, terminal illness, childhood trauma, fatherly love, and so much more.
First season can be found on Netflix with the second season hopefully coming next year.
Tumblr media
Originally on TBS and created by Olan Rogers, Final Space was about Gary Goodspeed, a prisoner whose 5 year sentence is near an end. He's been living in isolation maintaining a satellite and about to lose his mind until a little green creature he names Mooncake arrives. The two become fast friends, but unfortunately, there is an all powerful warlord is after Mooncake because he's the key to opening a dimension into Final Space.
While it initially comes across as your run of the mill adult comedy, I honestly thought it was a rip off of Futurama before I watched it, it has way more depth. While Gary comes across as a talkative goof, he's passionate and loyal to his friends, deeply in love with his love interest, and is willing to put himself through pain and danger to protect them. It's a found family story with the characters going through epic lengths to save the universe.
There are emotional gut punches delivered by awesome voice acting and talented animators. But, I got sad news. It lasted for three seasons without a proper ending. Now some good news, Olan Rogers got permission to finally end Final Space in a graphic novel coming out hopefully next year.
Tumblr media
Reimagined from the classic video game franchised, Dracula avenges the unjust death of his wife by declaring an unholy war on humanity and only three people can stand against him. Trevor Belmont, the last surviving member of a family of monster hunters, Sypha Belnades, a magi from a group of shunned nomadic scholars, and Alucard, the half-vampire son of Dracula himself.
The character development is well written over the course of four seasons. Handling tough topics such as grief, revenge, self-destruction, and corruption of the church while presenting intense fight scenes with some of the best animation I have ever seen.
All four seasons are on Netflix with a follow up series called Castlevania: Nocturne coming up soon.

12, 13, 17, 18! 🖤
Ohhhh all the asks! Thank you so much! 🥰
12. What is the last screenshot you took?
I'm going to put this below the cut. Its for Wednesday's post and I don't want to spoil it for anyone who doesn't want to see it yet! Of course they'll be no context for it here but y'know, still...
13. What do you do when you are unmotivated?
Well I used to just go long periods without playing The Sims. When it would start to bore me or just lose my interest I would cycle though other games: mostly Skyrim, Stardew, Civ VI and Banished. I still sometimes play Banished if I’m feeling really stressed but I’ve mostly been on a sims kick for years now.
I think it’s because I started incorporating creative writing into the game, which began with my NSB challenge. Now with the Darlingtons I rarely feel unmotivated, because I have the story written though 2000 and I am so motivated to see this through to the end.
However sometimes when it gets a bit overwhelming or it feels mechanical I just take a few days away from the game, or work on a build just for myself, and I feel my interest in the Darlingtons returning.
17. Do you talk about sims with people in real life?
Oh 100%. I have two friends who play the sims that know about the blog who I talk about the game with. But their play styles are very different so we don’t talk about it too, too much.
My fiancée is often the one who bears the brunt of my sims obsession. I bounce story ideas off of him and he’s got an eye for detail that comes in handy with selecting photos for story posts.
18. How many of the packs do you own?
Ah. Too many honestly. I jokingly refer to myself as “EA’s cash cow”. I’m not proud but it’s true. I blame my momma though. She used to use the sims as a reward system for a good report card at the end of the year so as an adult I do the same thing 😂
Although I draw the line at Journey to Batuu. I want those damn tiles so badly but I cannot. I also don’t own Werewolves (I never play supernatural), quite a few of the stuff packs, or most of the kits.

To all the ocs: if you were all in a fight, who would win?
Vi can throw a punch and take a hit, so she can go toe to toe with a lot of people.
Wally is fast but can't hit hard, so he'd get creamed unless he just constantly dodges.
Vincent and Boxcars would go down pretty quickly. Neither have been in a fight.
Despite Rem having some supernatural powers, they'd get scared and flee before being able to do some damage.
June is hot-headed and could probably knock some heads in if she gets angry, but she has no stamina and wouldn't last long.
You can hit Bell as many times as you'd like, but all your attacks would bounce right off. She probably wouldn't even fight back, not knowing what's even going on.
Shortcake would send her horde of servants after you. She'd probably win too, they're all trained in martial arts. But she can't fight on her own, so she's disqualified.
Mocha can hit like a truck and nothing ever knocks her down. She's unstoppable.
So to answer your question: If all my OCs got into a battle royale, it would most likely end in a draw between Mocha and Bell. But Mocha is the strongest out of all my characters.

………………………………………………………
Luang Phor Ophasi of Asom Bang Mot, living between BE 2441 to BE 2498 (CE 1898 to CE 1955)
Luang Phor Opasi was born, Chuan Maliphan in BE 2441 at Ban Trok Faifa, Pak Phanang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province with 7 siblings. At the age of 5, Chuan started his primary study and became a novice at the age of 13 at Wat Tai, Nakhon Si Thammarat, but Wat Tai did not teach Pali, so Chuan moved to Wat Tha Pho. His teacher noticed that Chuan was a smart student and advised him to go to big city to complete his Buddhism study. Then Chuan travelled to Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, Bangkok.
Chuan or Pra Maha Chuan liked to study and learned to speak several languages such as English, Tamil, Malay, Japanese, Pali and others. Pra Maha Chuan was a disciple of Luang Phor Kob of Wat Khao Sarika, Lopburi Province. Although they had never met each other personally, they communicated through telepathy during their meditations and thus Luang Phor Kob taught Pra Maha Chuan all his knowledge and the unique mediation through candle light (Grasin Fire). Luang Phor Kob himself had developed a technique of mediation that is based on the concentration on a flame. Luang Phor Kob had a great capacity to meditate without any interruption for as long as 40 days without any breaks.
When Pra Maha Chuan reached the highest level of study, His behavior started to change in a strange way, it was started from the technique of staring at the flame with continued attention for long period. He observed the precepts strictly, and in particular refused all the offerings given by any people. He tossed all gifts to the bonfire by saying that these objects were temptations which will make him unhappy and that the fire was the solution to this problem. On one occasion, Pra Maha Chuan failed to put out the fire at Wat Bowonniwet Vihara, this made the villagers very unhappy. They didn't understand why Pra Maha Chuan behaved like this. This leads to many villagers thinking that he had simply become insane. Pra Maha Chuan was requested to leave Wat Bowonniwet Vihara but he was then invited to go to Asom Bang Mot, Bang Mot, Bangkok by a White-robe Master, Archan Bow.
While Pra Maha Chuan was staying at Asom Bang Mot, he called himself “Ophasi”, and people called him Luang Phor Ophasi ever since. Luang Phor Ophasi became very famous for his supernatural ability and fortune telling. Luang Phor Ophasi soon became that well- known that visitors came from far places to have Luang Phor Ophasi foresee their future or to ask Luang Phor Ophasi to perform a miracle for them, that made Luang Phor Ophasi too busy, and skipped his meditation practice. Luang Phor Ophasi then decided to give out amulets as gifts to those which would carry them and to give them to the visitors that asked him to predict their future, and ask them to leave Luang Phor Ophasi in peace. During these years Luang Phor Ophasi also made other amulets such as the Garuda amulet, portraits of himself and King Rama V. Nowadays these amulets are all in collectors’ hands. Many copies were made, and it is extremely difficult to get the authentic items made or blessed by Luang Phor Ophasi.
In BE 2498, Luang Phor Ophasi and two of his disciples were invited to a Buddhist gathering in India that was held on October 28. Luang Phor Ophasi told his two disciples to leave before him and that he would join them later. He also told them that he will not be on the spot before October 31 and to inform the organizers of his delay and the date of its arrival. On that day October 31, many of his disciples went to the Bangkok airport to wish him a happy voyage, but Luang Phor Ophasi did not show up. Unfortunately, a few days later the death of Luang Phor Opasi was announced. In the evening of Oct 30, Luang Phor Opasi himself told the monks at Asom Bang Mot that he was going to remain in meditation for several days and not to disturb him under any circumstance, then he went into the monk house. On October 31, BE 2498, an anxious monk decided to open Luang Phor Ophasi’ monk house and observe whether Luang Phor Ophasi were well or not, he entered the monk house to find Luang Phor Ophasi had passed away.
During this time, in India, the two disciples of Luang Phor Opasi attended the Buddhist gathering in the company of Luang Phor Ophasi. Luang Phor Ophasi had conversation with many other Buddhists dignitaries and even gave a speech to hundreds of people, even photos of this occasion were took.
Luang Phor Ophasi said goodbye to his two disciples, and told them that he was going to return to Thailand only by other means of transport. When they came back, the disciples had a hard time believing the news of Luang Phor Ophasi's death, everyone believed that they had become insane when they said to have spent the days in Luang Phor Ophasi’s company. Only the testimony of several other monks present and the photographs in India of Luang Phor Ophasi proved the veracity of their incredible history.
Each year at Wat Luang Phor Ophasi, Bangkok, the coffin of Luang Phor Opasi is opened, his body has not decomposed. The changing of his monk robe and a manicure, and grooming of his hair is provided. This is a common thing regarding monks that have become enlightened, the body will not decompose or if the body is burned the bones will turn to relics.

Flash Fic Masterpost
All the original flash fic and snippets ever posted on this blog,to be updated sporadically.
Post-Final Girls 'Verse
In a dystopian world of cyberpunk and superpowers, three women keep coming together and apart. Snippets in chronological order:
Back in High School (Flo and Mel snip at each other about Jules)
Back in High School-2 (Flo and Jules talk about robots and kindness)
As an Experiment (Jules gets Flo to try living together)
Like Gravity (a typical instance of Flo and Mel running into each other)
Kitchen Talk (Jules & Flo, ethical disagreements in some unidentified probably peaceful time)
Pillow Talk (another moral conundrum convo)
"But what does it do?" (Flo gets a regular piercing that isn't a cyberpunk device; Jules is suspicious)
Anniversary (Flo takes Jules out on anniversary date and possibly does some crime on the side)
To Make Amends (an AU version of Flo and Mel being led to reconnect and start working together, based on an early iteration of the outline)
Language of the Revolution (based on an actual scene from the draft)
"I thought you were dead" (an AU where Mel gets captured by the Big Damn Villain; in the actual draft, it's Flo who draws this short stick)
The Morning After (the immediate aftermath of book one)
A Hologram (Jules & Flo beyond the city limits)
Plastic and Chrome (Mel: meanwhile in X-City...)
Hypervigilance (Flo tries to be introspective about her feelings for Mel; takes part after Flo and Jules leave the city, technically, but is really an extended flashback)
Neon and Moonlight (Flo, Jules, a brief trip back to the civilization)
Letters (Jules starts writing to Mel)
Numbers and Pixels, Smoke and Mirrors (on the verge of a reunion in VR)
Extra: a trilogy of whumptember snippets set in the same universe, probably in a different city, with charaters I know little about other than that they want me to know more and write a book about them:
[1], [2], [3] (captivity, brainwashing)
Tales from the Witch House 'Verse
In a kitchen sink urban fantasy world, a bunch of young supernaturals are squatting in a derelict house under the protection of a mysterious witch who claims to have their best interests at heart.
Tim and Leo Angst
Tim and Leo Fluff
"I hate this song" (takes place soon after the one linked above)
Xan and Gella Fluff
Flame & Moth 'Verse
Based on a RP my friend and I have had going on for year. A potentially evil superhero agency, an amnesiac pyrokinetic searching for the truth of his past, a villain who keeps showing up to save him and make his life harder. You know, the fun stuff. Snippets in roughly chronological order:
Out of the Rubble (one of the many instances of the villain coming to the rescue; written for whumptember)
"Is that blood?" (sometimes, Flame can rescue himself! with a little help from his Agency partner Batshit)
Searching for memories in a house on fire (Flame, mortal peril, Moth shows up right on time; written for whumptember)
"There's nothing I can do" (Flame looses a trainee)
Oops, the Agency isn't happy (look, Flame's suffering again; written for whumptember)
Flame is getting rescued from the above predicament (or is he?)
"You said I'd be safe here" (right, apparently he did get rescued)
You Can Doom Everyone (maybe it's a nightmare sequence, maybe it's not)
Bonus: same universe, different hero and villain Bonus-2: not sure this takes place in the same universe... but hero and villain, too
More Than We'll Never Know 'Verse
Snippets related to an ongoing WIP set in a D&D-esque world of adventurers, living legends, and evil capitalism. Mostly focused on a single messy adventuring found family of six.
A version of Vezee and Dagatha's first meeting
A random corn maze adventure
Bariq Being Bariq
Ice by the Fire (Sufjen and Vel getting to know each other)
Trinket (Sufjen and Vel late-book fluff)
Tired of Fighting (Bariq being a shitty friend to Vel)
"Your Magic Is Awesome" (Rinouk being a good friend to Vel)
The perils of getting too close to the villain, might be where the plot is headed, might be an AU/theoretical snippet
Not Mad, Just Disappointed (Dagatha reconnects with her mentor, sort of)
"It's a trial, not a party" (fluffy Dagatha/Vezee sequel to the above)
Vezee and Dagatha's Happy Ending (possible version)
Unwanted Rescue (it is possible Bariq will continue being himself even after the end of the story... or maybe I'll figure out how to give him a better arc after all)
And maybe sometime after the ending Vel and Sufjen will adopt a baby dragon: [1] [2]
Champagne Problems 'Verse
Snippets related to an ongoing WIP set in a city full of corrupt nobles, eldritch cults, angsty magic Academy students, portals that might connect all that to our world, and lying liars who lie.
Secret Meeting (prior to the book's events Elair meets with his evil employer)
Not At All Serious (pre-book Elair, the perils of falling in love under a fake identity)
Rainy Day (pre-book Elair and Miq fluff)
Sweet Tooth (more pre-book Elair and Miq fluff)
Outdoor Event (even more pre-book Elair and Miq fluff)
Practice at the City Hall (pre-book Elair and Miq again, poor Miq is clearly planning the proposal at the end there...)
"I've Got You" (Elair and Miq fluff, just might be a rough draft for late in the book)
Cults and Blood Sacrifices (absolutely unrelated to the book's events, I don't know these characters; absolutely takes place in Mramorsten, though; written for whumptember)
Kingdom in Peril Plot Bunny Exploration
Just a bunch of characters and a slowly forming setting existing rent-free in my mind. No idea where I'm going with all of this, but the journey will involve court intrigue, royals behaving badly, randomly appearing gothic vibes, mysterious dark threats, and possibly soulmates.
Surprise Visitor on a Rainy Evening
No One's Happy about Going to the Royal Court
Oh, Look, the King Has a Brother (He's My Favorite)
Royal Siblings Flashback
Alita Alone in the Garden
Royal Chessboard
Random Randomness
Consider this a catch-all category that I may eventually reorganize by genre.
Dead Gurdian's Dolmen (fantasy, worldbuilding-focused)
The Frozen Giant (sci-fantasy, worldbuilding-focused)
Dragons are fairly splenetic creatures (cozy fantasy, predictably turned into a trilogy of novels with one drafted already :D)
Bucolic Living (cozy lovecraftian post-apocalypse)
Sapphic September: Portal Fantasy (YA, parallel worlds)
"Our job isn't to too god, it is to make right" (fantasy, gods and heroes that fight them, evil mentor, written for whumptember)
An unplanned sequel to the above (in which things get darker)
"Let me do this for you" (fantasy, some kind of secret agents, self-sacrifice, written for whumptember)
Sapphic September: 3 AM (some kind of post-break-up drama?)
"Don't come home" (dark fairytale with a soul-eating dragon)
Around the Oak (a weird sapphic time warp flash fic)
"This was always going to happen" (fantasy, character death, guard captain x spy)
"If that's what it takes" (fantasy, an adventurer attempts to rescue her brother from an evil wizard; written for whumptember)
Mother's Matchmaking (space opera/melodrama of manners, enemies-to-lovers, will be a book someday)
The summer weeks by the sea are long (a sapphic vacation with revelations)
Life on Mars (sometimes, people just keep coming back and you can never let them go)
Dystopia Tropes (random modern-day slice-of-life romance)
Waiting for a Call (angsty sapphic magical girls)
Always Sunny (a monster hunter comes back to her hometown to reconnect with her ex-girlfriend, definitely will be a book someday)
Home (mad science and eldritch tentacles, written for whumptember)
Gears (a steampunk tinkerer and a rogue, for Sapphic September)
The Better Bad Idea (something something sapphic Regency-inspired fantasy, for Sapphic September)
"There are no aliens on the abandoned atomic station" (something something scientist and journalist, for Sapphic September)
Fool's Gold (a dark fantasy snippet, friends to enemies)
When you're escaping confinement, why not take your captor with you, right (written for whumptember, hero and villain)
Dreamscape Navigation (pretty much a novelization of a stray magic system... or a flashficization, rather)
On the Porch (a half-baked tropey idea about sisters reconnecting because of a condition in their grandmother's will)
What You Swore to Destroy (angsty YA horror with a touch of eldritch past lives)
Lessons in Failure (not all heroes get good mentors)
Picking Cherries (something very random; kids and cherries sometimes make things better)
A Maybe, a What If, an Almost (stream of consciousness friends-to-enemies flash fic)
Won't Forget (tiny 100-words drabble about memory spells)
Also, a whumptember two-parter with potential for more parts about a sassy imprisoned prince:
[1] [2] (warnings: imprisonment, sensory deprivation, torture)
And another whumptember two-parter: in part one, someone just tries to survive in a city his twin has ruined; in part two, the twin is in an even worse pickle.
#iHunt Rpg Fanfic (based loosely on a campaign I was in, you don't need to know anything about the game, it's just a small wrong number flash fic)
My tag for all the flash fiction and snippets: #warden's random scribbles.

It is a season of mystical thrillers in Tollywood. After Sai Dharam Tej's blockbuster Virupaksha, here comes another similar outing in the form of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona which stars Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. The teaser of this VI Anand directional is out this Sunday morning and it has an intriguing premise and suspenseful narration. The one-minute teaser hints that Ooru Peru Bhairavakona revolves around a fantasy and mystical place where there is no exit. It is a supernatural thriller inspired by Indian folklore and centers on Garuda Puranam and the missing four pages. The storyline is very interesting and the teaser is filled with ample suspense to draw the attention of viewers. Director VI Anand, who is known for dishing out thrillers like Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, seems to have once again chosen a solid story laced with a mysterious set-up and fascinating characters. The brief teaser manages to grab the eyeballs for its strong technical bravura backed by stunning visuals and spectacular background score. Sundeep Kishan shines in this terrific glimpse with a superb screen presence. He is a perfect cast for this film and seems to have got a substantial role with good scope to unleash the acting mettle in him. The rich production values by AK Entertainment and Hasya movies come in handy to elevate the teaser. There is no much presence of female leads, Kavya Tapar and Varsha Bollamma in the brief teaser. All in all, the well-cut teaser sets the tone for Ooru Peru Bhairavakona. https://youtu.be/C4MfmpI_Zxw #OoruPeruBhairavakona #SundeepKishan #VIAnand

A better reference of Viola from the first time I drew her which was just chibi art, but it's not exactly how I wanted her to look. (This is another phone drawing as opposed to how I draw now on the computer.)
At the very least the color schemes are accurate,,
But enough about reference corrections. I'm gonna use this space to mention some random facts about Vi.
She comes from a decently high ranking vampire family name so she's kind of a "big deal" when it comes to supernatural affairs. In the realm of humans, she's equivalent to an Instagram influencer. (So sorta known but not a name known by all.)
All around, Vi is a pretty popular person to those who are in the know. She'll sometimes get recognized when she goes to one of Amelie's gigs both to humans and other beings.
The real challenge is when it's the other beings as they're not always the friendliest. Vi has all the vampire strength and whatnot but she's not exactly a fighter so she's not well versed in combat. So as a precaution her family assigned her (as cheesy as this sounds, I know. But like there are vampires n stuff in my oc world so why would this not exist too y'know?) a werewolf bodyguard.
Why a werewolf? They can easily blend in with humans but have enough supernatural strength to tango with any threats to Viola that she might not be aware of if she's goofing off too much. His details and art will be shown at a much later date, but just think big scary dog man but he's also a friend.
