Every other month or so the Justice League has a week long Mario Kart tournament. Everyone plays, even Batman. It was J'onn's idea.

Jodio - Shy Guy (specifically the dark blue version)

Lowkey a pro at this game. Likes to challenge himself in time trials and knows all the best cart combinations. If there is a shortcut on the track, he WILL take it (and will almost always be successful). Actually enjoys Rainbow Road (the real reason for his psychopath diagnosis).

Dragona - Pink Gold Peach (I could see them picking Daisy too)

Just there to have a good time tbh. At least most of the time, because every now and then when they're doing particularly well their competitive streak kicks in, and trust me – once they get into it, they get REALLY into it (cross them at your own risk). Favorite track is Cheep Cheep Beach.

Paco - Bowser

He thinks gaming is dumb and a waste of time (definitely not because he sucks at it). On the rare occasion he does get convinced to play, he keeps bumping into walls and other players (it doesn't help that he picks one of the heaviest characters in the game). Known for notoriously running into banana peels. Gaming sessions usually end in him "inviting" the other players to the gym.

Usagi - Luigi

Relates to Luigi on a personal level for being the underappreciated helper of the group. He's actually quite good at the game. His aim is freakishly accurate and he loves to hoard items to target other players (for unknown reasons they seem to hit everyone but Dragona). Similarly to Jodio, he takes shortcuts almost every chance he gets, but unlike Jodio, it doesn't always go so well. Also probably likes Baby Park like the freak he is.

Charmingman - Dry Bones

Used to play with Mauka a lot, so he's surprisingly good, and can get quite competitive too. Drives solely on bikes, which give him some good ol' maneuverabilty to avoid all those damn banana peels Usagi keeps throwing around. Secretly loves the music tracks and sometimes listens to them while riding his bike irl, imagining himself to be in a race. Favorite item is Boo.

He doesn't notice the smile tugging at his lips until he catches his fuzzy reflection on the microwave door. All at once, the smile, the fluttering feeling in his stomach, and the look in his eyes make sense.

Another peal of your laughter floats through the lair as you and Mikey jostle each other over who *should* have won that round of Mario Kart, effectively cutting through his train of thought before it can even leave the station. He leans back against the counter, a soft look in his eyes as he watches how well you get on with his brother; and as if you feel the weight of his stare, you turn, eyes meeting his through tears of laughter.

Donnie could swear his heart drops to his stomach when you give him the prettiest smile he's ever seen as you wave him over, extra controller in hand. And as he pushes off the counter, straw between his lips, he can't be bothered to hold back his own love sick grin.

the mood on the ride back home after the award show was a little stuffed. the end of the year performance of le sserafim was flawless as always, but after all the hard work and hours of event, going home without a trophy affected the girls.

sakura had a thoughtful expression, chaewon was clearly acting like she was asleep and eunchae and kazuha were quiet at the backseat probably both scared to start the conversation at this atmosphere.

you and yunjin exchange glances from time to time, wordlessly understanding that you both wanted to bright up the mood but didn't know how.

in quick texts between you two, you convince yunjin to try breaking the ice saying something good about the event, the hesitation on her eyes says it all.

"you know..." yunjin starts "at least they gave us good food."

"what?? you said to talk about something good, the food was good"

"bro, what about our amazing performance? we even got a loud fan cheer back there. woah can't believe you huh yunjin"

the tension from before slowly disappearing in a comfortable talk now, you and yunjin exchange looks and proudly high five each other.

the girls got lost in why you and eunchae still arguing since the staff told them it was you who answered differently but neither of you heard it.

"we will be doing content, baby" you extend your fist expecting her to fist bump you, eunchae shakes her head in disbelief but soon enough her expression turns into a mischievous one, she is the one winning anyway.

He sticks his face back in the screen. "Same point, I'm not going out to the woods just for lunch when I can have it here."

A sigh. This was a real struggle sometimes, especially with a boyfriend who's not so willing to entertain such cheesy ideas, let alone even imagine doing it.

"Come on, pleaseeee? It'd be really romantic."

"What, you gonna lead me there with a blindfold too?" He snorts while pressing away at the buttons. You throw a pillow at his head. It hits him but he only snickers and lets it fall.

"No. Its not like it's some sorta secret spot anyways. You can literally see the school from there."

He hums, tilting his head as a victory flashes across his screen. "Mmmmmaybe...."

"What, Idia. What series do you want me to binge with you now."

An excited grin stretches on his face. "Attack On Titan, full 4 seasons marathon. And-" he rolls his chair near the edge of the bed where you lay, "gaming session. My game of choice this time, since you always pick Mario Kart because I KNOW you searched up the cheats for that."

"Proof?" You ask smugly with your head resting on your palm.

"Stop using my tablet to google 'Mario Kart glitch hack combo'."

You click your tongue. "Fine. Deal."

"WHOOOOOO!" Idia cheers, pumping his fist.

It's quiet. Here you both sat, food and drinks alike between you as you're sat at opposite edges of the picnic blanket. You squint your eyes at the stark contrast between the food he brought and yours.

"....I brought Doritos and monster cans because I thought you'd want them," you whisper, looking at the nice weaved basket beside him.

You grip your 7-Eleven plastic bag in shame.

"Wha- Do you think I'm some sorta junkie??" Idia sputters, gaping at you. "And I baked this all for you, you jerk!"

"Well, you were just so against this! So I wanted to make you more comfy! Er, ease you in the vibe, you know?"

"What am I, some sort of screen addict? It's not like I don't know how to be outside, I just don't like to!" It's like there were metaphorical tears streaming down his face. "What sort of ipad kid do you think I am for you to pull this environment adjustment move on me?"

"Fine, fine, I'm sorry, Idia. It was a little insensitive of me."

"Ortho even hyped me up. He said you were probably going to surprise me with cute kitty cupcakes." Idia says, staring off in the distance with blank disappointment.

You groan loudly. "Ughhh baabeeee, I said I'm sooorryyy!"

"Don't 'babe' me! I made you a nice batch of food in this aesthetic cottagecore basket and you waltz in with two cans and a Dorito!" Grumbling, he crosses his arms, turning to the side. "I'm kicking your plushie out of my bed tonight."

At this point, you just sprawl across his lap, and he still doesn't look at you. "Don't do it, pleaasee," you beg muffledly, "I'll make it up to youuu."

"It's gonna take a lot more than just some sorries for this offense."

"...I'll move my minecraft bed beside yours this time."

"I take it back. Apology accepted."

You lift your head, deadpanning. "So you were still mad about about that?"

"Heheha, yeah I was," he giggled. "So, uh, wanna eat? I think it's cooled by now."

"Oh, yeah," you get up off him, fingers eagerly reaching for the basket. Taking it in your arms, you flip it open, only to pause when you see the contents inside.

"Yeah." Idia mumbles, fiddling with his jacket strings in an attempt to act nonchalant about his growing embarrassment.

It's quiet, and before long, you can't stop the cheeky smile creeping up your face.

You and Yunjin have been dating for several months now, and your love for each other had only grown stronger with time. Of course, the girls were well aware of this and supported it. However, it was times where you played games that they couldn’t stand you both, or more so Yunjin. One thing you guys enjoyed doing when you had free time was playing video games together.

The familiar jingle of Mario Kart's theme song filled the room, you and the others settled yourselves on the couch, eagerly grabbing your controllers. Your members (and girlfriend) were more than ready for an intense gaming session. Whenever you guys gathered for these sessions, everyone was competitive, especially Sakura and Eunchae.

For this game, you were on teams. Yunjin, Chaewon and Eunchae were one team, and Sakura, Kazuha and you were on the other. Everyone knew that if Yunjin was on one team and you were on the opposite, they would want to be on your team. It was basically a gateway to winning.

This round, you and Yunjin were against each other. You couldn't help but smile as you glanced over at Yunjin. She always looked adorable when she was focused, her brows furrowed in concentration. There was no trash talking, but you did poke fun at her every now and then. Though, you had a tactic for whenever you began losing. Knowing that Yunjin couldn’t resist you, you abused the power you had over her. The competitive nature in you couldn't resist trying to bring out Yunjin's soft side. You would do anything to win, even if it meant playing dirty. So, whenever you found yourself losing, you would pout and shoot Yunjin a playful, pleading gaze. It didn't take long for Yunjin to fall for your tactics. Seeing your adorable pout, she couldn't resist giving in to her girlfriend's wishes.

As the race progressed, Yunjin's gaze kept drifting towards you, unable to resist the urge to make you happy. Every time you pouted, Yunjin's heart melted, and she found herself easing off the gas pedal, allowing you to pass her effortlessly.

The other members quickly caught on to Yunjin's habit of letting you win, and they couldn't help but express their displeasure. Well, it was more so your rivals. Chaewon, known for her fiery spirit, couldn't contain her annoyance any longer. "Yah! Stop letting her win!" she shouted, throwing her controller up in the air in frustration. Eunchae joined in, throwing her head back in exasperation and exclaiming, "Unnie!"

Amidst the chaos, Sakura and Kazuha couldn't help but celebrate the victory. They high-fived each other, enjoying their win while sharing amused glances with you.

Yunjin, on the other hand, was flustered by Chaewon’s outburst and tried to defend herself. "I-I'm not letting her win on purpose! It's just... luck!" She stammered, desperately searching for excuses. But her teammates weren't buying it. They scoffed and rolled their eyes, clearly unconvinced.

While Chaewon continued to scold Yunjin, Sakura and Kazuha basked in your victories. Unable to contain your delight, you jumped up from the couch, cheering loudly before rushing over to hug Yunjin tightly. Planting a sweet kiss on her cheek, you couldn't help but tease your girlfriend playfully, "My big softie!" The members' voices faded into the background as you showered Yunjin with affection, not caring about the chaos surrounding her.

She blushed furiously, caught between the joy of your affection and the disapproving glares of her members. The raven-haired girl stammered, trying to find the right words to defend herself once again. "I... I just wanted Y/N to have fun, that's all! It doesn't mean I'm not good at this game!" She protested, hoping to salvage her dignity. Laughter filled the room as the playful banter between Yunjin, Chaewon and Eunchae continued.

Eventually, the members realized that no amount of complaints or protests would change Yunjin's behavior. They accepted that Yunjin was head over heels for you and couldn't resist your charms, even in the digital realm. Besides, deep down, they were happy to see Yunjin so smitten.

And so, as the Mario Kart tournament continued, Yunjin found herself torn between competitiveness and the overwhelming desire to see your smile. Yunjin occasionally tried to sneak in a win, but you always saw through her tactics, and you would both dissolve into fits of laughter. The members learned to embrace the dynamic and even started teasing Yunjin about being a "whipped girlfriend," which only made Yunjin blush and laugh along.

No matter what, she knew that in the end, there was no resisting you, and your members couldn’t stop that. They wouldn’t even bother trying.

hugs are exchanged, and many many "i missed you"'s are exchanged. nobara's hands are shaky as she reaches out to her girlfriend, whom she hasn't seen for quite a few months. while they hug and whisper amongst themselves, yuuji envelopes you into a hug of your own, practically bouncing up and down. his words are jumbled and fast, for someone who doesn't know him, it'd be impossible to keep up. "we missed you so much and i know it hasn't been that long but for us it's felt like forever and we never realized how much we needed you back there and movie nights aren't the same without you and and-" a hand reaches up to his mouth, effectively silencing him. "relax, yuuji. i know you missed me." you smile, softening your words always seems to do the trick when he's bouncing off the walls like that. he gives you another quick hug before backing away, taking a short glance at yuuta before doing so.

... why did he look at me like that?

a small wave and a smile is exchanged between you and megumi, he's never really been one for hugs... or affection by any means.

after eventually wrapping up the dragged out greetings, nobara announces that she will 'drop dead' if she doesn't get something to eat immediately, so you're all headed to the dining hall as your first stop. you will periodically sneak glances at yuuta, who has his hands in his pockets and is seemingly glued to the side of toge. you wished he would walk next to you, give you any attention at all, but you're just friends. you aren't entitled to him. at least, that's the conclusion your brain has come to at this point. instead of your black-haired boy, yuuji is by your side rambling about all the different stops they took on the way here, and how nobara insisted on buying snacks at every single one. this conversation continues at the lunch table, which turns into the two of them pointing fingers at eachother back and forth, and megumi ready to put his head in his hands out of embarrassment.

you laugh, and it almost feels bittersweet for a split second. this feels so comfortable, something you've struggled to feel ever since moving here. of course, you couldn't have found a better group to surround yourself with; you're eternally grateful to your new friends for taking you in. but, nothing will beat the pure happiness that comes with being around the people who know you best. the ones who have seen you at your highest, your lowest, your... weirdest.. (we don't talk about mario kart nights). you may have made amazing friends at your home away from home, but these are your friends, your people. yuuta notices your demeanor, and his anxious gaze softens when he realizes what you're doing.

hands are placed on your shoulders, and you're (literally) shaken out of your thoughts. "earth to y/nnnn!" yuuji's voice rings through your ears as you fade back into the conversation, and you turn to him with silence, yet a look on your face that speaks volumes. his face brightens, and he retracts his hands, holding them up as an apology. "sorry, sorry, but you've been so dazed! we're about to leave!" your eyes widen, trying to recollect just how long you've been in your head for yet again. "where are we going?" you ask, turning to the rest of the group who starts to snicker at your confusion, when they've been talking about the location for at least five minutes at this point. "nobara wants to go shopping, so we're going to the mall." maki finally says, smiling at you thinking she knows something. you squint at her smugness, but brush it off once the group starts to head out.

i should've sat next to her instead.

after another sigh from maki, and matching pouts from you and nobara, a hand taps on your shoulder. you turn around and are met with yuuta, who pulls you slightly farther away from the two girls starting to bicker over whether or not a weighted sloth plushie is necessary. your hand doesn't leave his, and you look up at him puzzled. "what's wrong?" he just smiles and shakes his head, which confuses you more. "nothing, i just didn't want to tell you i'll buy you one in front of them" when those words leave his mouth, your eyes noticeably light up, and even with your best attempt at hiding it, it doesn't work. pushing him away slightly, you attempt to decline, but he's already dragging you back to where you were and picking one out with you.

"if i pick one with you, it'll belong to both of us"

"will i get shared custody?"

"i'll see you in court."

yuuta seems much more content than he was before after you two picked out a stuffed cat and named it charlie. but, he was very much still on his guard. he doesn't like the way yuuji puts his hands on you so often, and he doesn't like the way you allow it. but, you're not his, who is he to control you?

jungwon shoved his shoes off tiredly at the dorm's front door, riki following suit. their hands were occupied with bags of the group's dinner as they went into the common room to see the rest of their members with jungwon's boyfriend now joined.

y/n sat cheering with the others as they all watched jay and heeseung's race of mario kart on the large tv. jungwon smiled at the sight of y/n's presence. he invited y/n to come over for dinner just an hour ago and hadn't expected him to get to the dorms so fast.

jungwon and riki set the few bags down on the table, the youngest's eyes instantly going to the ongoing race. jungwon's view, however, went right to y/n. his smile dropped upon seeing sunghoon clinging to y/n's shoulder in anticipation. it was the last round of the race, and both of them were ready to see who would win. but frankly, jungwon couldn't care less about why his groupmate was glued to his partner's side. he didn't like it regardless of the reason.

"yes! pay up, loser," heeseung gloated as he tossed his controller aside and laid his hand out. jay rolled his eyes at the defeat, pulling a few bills out to hand to him. he flopped down on the other side of y/n with a small pout, dramatically laying his head on y/n's lap to fake a cry.

"oh, food's here! thanks, guys!" sunghoon beamed as he let go of y/n and stood up with the rest of them to begin setting out their meals. jungwon gave sunghoon a broken smile, trying to remind himself that he didn't actually hate his friend. his eyes shifted back to y/n, who was now standing up.

"hi, babe!" y/n greeted him happily. jungwon only smiled a hello and pulled him closer by the waist to kiss him deeply.

the others looked up at their leader in disgust.

"okay, we get it, you're in love. no need to rub it in," heeseung joked as he opened his box of food. a few snickers came from the others while the couple finally pulled apart. y/n was a bit taken back by the sudden kiss, but assumed maybe his boyfriend just missed him.

the boys could tell jungwon was overprotective and a bit jealous. jake in particular found it amusing how jealous jungwon could become over even a friendly, platonic gesture from one of the members, and he had to admit that he liked to mess with the leader.

jake watched the couple sit down with the rest of them, digging into their dinner. with himself now on one side of y/n and jungwon on the other, an idea popped into his head.

he gripped onto some food with his chopsticks and brought it closer to y/n, who's eyes brightened as he opened his mouth to let jake feed him. jake could see in his peripheral vision that jungwon was practically shooting daggers at him, but he paid it no mind to continue teasing him. y/n, however, was completely oblivious.

jungwon took a deep breath and decided to try and focus on his food. he knew y/n didn't mean any harm, but he couldn't ignore the feeling in his chest that screamed to get him away from the others.

after finishing their meals, the group and their plus one decided on staying up for a movie night since they had a day off tomorrow. after jungwon pressed play on their chosen movie, he went back to y/n's side to get comfortable with the others. he laid his arm around y/n's shoulder, stroking his hair lovingly while y/n rested his head against him.

after only five minutes into the movie, jake was already back to his trouble making. while jungwon continued to play with y/n's hair, jake sat closely beside y/n and fed him pieces of candy. jungwon gave his groupmate a couple side eyes as he tensed up, but told himself to keep ignoring the actions.

jungwon managed to remain focused on the movie for a few more minutes, but it was when jake lifted his leg to lay it on y/n's lap that jungwon finally snapped.

"i need some air," he mumbled under his breath as he rushed to stand up and get outside. y/n quickly sat up with a frown, able to see jungwon was upset now. once the door shut behind his boyfriend, y/n looked around at the others in confusion.

"look what you did now, jake," jay said, his tone somewhere between amused and cross. jake clicked his tongue.

"he's fun to tease, he'll be okay."

y/n looked between them, still confused.

"did i miss something?" he questioned. jake moved his leg from y/n's lap to sit upright as well.

"jungwon just gets jealous easily, that's all."

realization struck y/n now, feeling a bit dense. he sighed and stood up to follow his partner outside.

he found jungwon sitting alone on the steps that led up to the doorway, tossing a few stray pebbles that were scattered around. y/n sat beside him in silence for a moment as he was unsure of what exactly to say.

"..are you okay?"

jungwon didn't answer. y/n felt anxiety spark through his body at this.

"jungwon, please talk to me."

the male took a deep breath as he looked down, deciding to finally speak.

"do you remember that day we spent together a couple months ago? it was raining all day but we still wanted to do something so we went outside and played in the rain? we laid in puddles and caught rain drops with our tongues and then had our first kiss.."

y/n smiled at the memory and nodded. jungwon's voice was laced with nostalgic happiness while the corner of his lips curved into a small grin.

"i'd never forget that day," y/n replied. jungwon nodded before taking the other's hand and intertwining their fingers. he was still looking down, which made y/n frown again.

"i'm sorry for walking out just now.." jungwon said quietly. y/n's brows furrowed as he shook his head.

"don't apologize. i'm sorry that i didn't see you were upset," he countered.

"i know you didn't mean to upset me. the others just like to mess with me. they're too good at it, i guess." he said in disappointment.

"wonnie, look at me, please?"

it took him a moment, but jungwon was able to bring himself to look at his love. he managed to give him a small smile, his soft eyes making y/n's heart fill with warmth.

"there's my dimpled boy," he cooed as a light blush coated jungwon's cheeks. "you know i'm all yours, right? it's just you and i," y/n reminded him.

"and the rest of enhypen," jungwon added jokingly. y/n rolled his eyes.

"they can wait in line, tsk."

a small laugh left jungwon's lips as he looked at the other with care. the moonlight shined on y/n's face perfectly, making jungwon feel an urge to kiss him. he gently squeezed his hand and leaned in, y/n following to meet him in the middle.

"shit- oh, they're kissing. go back inside, go back inside!"

the couple pulled apart and turned to see a few of the boys frantically rushing back inside the dorm, definitely not as subtle as they might've hoped. the door shut quietly before the pair's eyes met again.

"just you and i, huh?" jungwon repeated. y/n sighed and rolled his eyes again.

"shut up and kiss me."

jungwon chuckled and rested his free hand against y/n's cheek, connecting their lips again.

Fyodor makes some statement on how he's rubbed off on you and while it's admirable to see you evolving, you have a long way to go before you reach his level.

likes going to parks with you in the ungodly hours in the night, he goes on the swings and tries to go as high as possible and somehow never falls off. also hangs off of the monkey bars, def gave you a spider-man kiss and got very flustered and fell off. he was okay tho.

sends you a "i'm batman" text at least once a day. you texted him asking if he wanted to go to the convenience store at like 1AM and he replied saying he was too busy fighting crime.

he loves marvel, has like comics from when he was younger on his shelves.

points at the ugliest things ever and says that it looks cute whenever you two go to a shop.

likes doing skincare with you and pretending it's a youtube video.

if you have plushies in your room and leave him alone with them, he will wrestle or threaten them, jokingly.

takes naps at the weirdest places ever and no one questions it.

"where's sunarin?" "he's sleeping in the storage room." "oh, okay."

he's a cat magnet.

really really good at mario kart, but he always loses to his sister or you just to see you guys smile. (only after winning atleast two times tho)

whenever he's at home or just chilling with you, he uses (cutesy) clips to push his hair back, he looks adorable.

doesn't like bananas.

Random Ghost HC

Warnings: fluff, he's also a military man who has killed people so...

A/N: I haven't played the game since I was 12 and want to get back into it, but I'm a broke bitch so please bear with me this is purely based off what I've seen. If you don't have anything nice to say, go away. If you have some of your own hc, please share I love reading them :) I'm not "making" him a softy, your likes and dislikes don't make you less manly.

Massive softy. He's like one of those super bulky, scary dudes who will do absolutely anything to see their s/o smile... That's just him

Even without the gear on, he's thicc with more C's than I want to put. He's very sturdy, strong (he's carrying at least 50lbs of equipment, but he's probably actually carrying 150lbs), and wide... Look at his shoulders.

Dog dude. Loves the "dangerous" breeds: German Shepherds, Pitbulls, Cane Corsos, ect. Will literally do anything for them.

Is actually younger than everyone thinks... (141 is about 30-40, except Price and Shepard of course, Gaz is at least 22) War and trauma can affect people in many ways.

Can recount how he got all of his scars and is unashamed of them, just nervous if people see them.

Likes to be alone, either reading or listening to music. Sometimes you can catch him bobbing his head to whatever's playing.

He keeps his room really clean, he claims it's because he's a man, but clean room = clear mind.

True emo, loves "old" emo music, but also enjoys alternative, rock, and Metallica (specifically Metallica)

Goes hiking/on a run when he's upset, it helps him clear his head.

He doesn't like yelling, at or from others. He thinks it's not how arguments or anything should be handled. He's yelled at his team on occasion because the messed up or something, but most of the he'll walk away and cool down.

Pretty big on communication. He's not good with staying how he feels, but he tries his best.

Big on showing he cares (acts of service and quality time). Comes home from a mission to his s/I and will wash dishes, cook, laundry, ect while he's home.

Isn't a fan of PDA, but will have his hands on you when you're alone. Almost always touching you; arms around your waist while cooking, spooning in bed, ect

Smacks your ass every chance he gets. It becomes a game, you have to constantly look over your shoulder to make sure your ass isn't unguarded.

I saw someone say that he's a little weird (they used him eating a lemon as an example but lemons are delicious so...) I think he's a fan of something considered childish whether it's Pokemon, Magic, ect. He loves it, but keeps it hidden.

Calls his s/o "darling," "baby," "love" also if you're married and take his last name, "Mr/Mrs. Riley" he loves the sound of it

Gamer. Another way for him to relax, prefers games like Stardew or Animal Crossing. Calming games. Competitive though... Will beat you at Mario Kart

So gentle. Touching you like your some sort of antique vase, except your ass-smaking game. Gentle with everything that has to do with you (sex kissing, dancing)

Don't tell anyone, but he's a huge romantic. Loves those moments where he can dance in the kitchen with you while you wait for dinner, making you a huge dinner dressing up even though your staying home, he always brings home flowers and your favorite snacks/drinks after a mission.

Doesn't like getting drunk. He doesn't like the feeling he gets or how he acts when he's drunk, but he doesn't mind drinking.

Loud noises are a no go, so no concerts. He already deals with loud noises during missions the last thing he wants is more, it stresses him out.

If you call him your husband (whether you're married or not) he's on the floor, he loves it. He also loves being called "babe," "baby," "honey"
