a/n: i had no real idea for this fic so i went with more of a general vibe, but i loved writing about my boi wylan <3

"One more?"

"Y/n, i've already played you three songs," he said, chuckling lightly. He wasn't reprimanding you, and the faint smile on his lips suggested just that.

He had been playing his flute all afternoon, with you listening closely on the couch, eyes barely open as you let yourself be transported by the music. It took you so far away and yet you never moved once; Wylan was capable of that magic.

Or maybe it was just the love you had for him, so pure and strong it made magic possible. You didn't know and you couldn't  honestly care less, not as you opened your eyes to look at the red curls of the boy in front of you, framing his own eyes as he set the instrument on the table.

He got up from his own armchair to cross the space that divided you, and in that moment another song was the last thing you wanted: you wanted to lay in his arms, play with his hair, bask in his presence. It was enough, it was more than enough; it was perfect.

"Oh but you know i love hearing you play," you said as you outstretched your arms to welcome him on the couch. He laid down with his head on your lap, legs loosely hanging over the sofa's armrest.

"And you know i love playing for you," he countered. You smiled down at him as he brought one hand up to caress your face; such a tender gesture that had you wondering what you'd done to deserve him. "But you'll get tired of it if i play it too much, don't you think?"

"I highly doubt it," you huffed, carding your fingers through his hair. "I would just fall more in love with you, with every single note."

"Then i better take back the flute," he said as he tried to get up but you were quick to hold him in place, swiftly placing your hand on his chest.

"I suppose we can wait one minute more," you whispered, going back to your previous activity, brushing his hair with your light fingers. "So that you can take a break."

He took your hand and brought it to his lips, kissing it gently. "I suppose you're right."

I wrote a book of poetry. Start Here is a collection of single line and one word poems that I composed one by one while walking and running between August and October. The lines were written individually but there is a similar underlying feeling to them as a whole including thoughts on longing, searching, memory, and the ocean. They can be read as individual poems, as one poem, or as a kind of story. 

Ever since I wrote my thesis last year, I have been thinking about writing and words in a different way and have become very interested in creating works that use thoughts and words as materials. This thin volume felt natural to make and, though I’m a bit nervous to put it out in the world, I am very excited to share it.  I have included a detail of two pages here but will keep the rest quiet so that anyone who purchases the book will be surprised. 

So, yes, it is for sale for $25 and can be found on my Etsy drawing and works- on-paper shop, AmyTavernDrawing. Each book will be individually printed and the process will take about three weeks. Expediting is possible. Please email  me at [email protected] or convo me via Etsy for details. Each book will be signed, too. 

The paperback book measures 8 x 5 x 1/8 in. and has 36 pages.

If you're meaning the idea of 'reviving' diary Tom and then making him reclaim the horcruxes, I'm afraid it's the boring answer of 'it occurred to me at random one day' lol. I wrote a 15k plan like instantly, I was like HOLY SHIT I GOTTA WRITE THIS OUT.

But the rest of it, all the extra stuff on top I came up with to demonstrate a few different points I wanted to make, critiquing dumbledore, the whole wizard-Muggle world dichotomy, playing out holes in JKRs world building and the like. 😁

Feather light kisses were generously planted on your bare shoulder and on your neck, leisurely, without rush. As if time didn't exist, as if it didn't matter at all.

That homey feeling only he could give you was slowly lulling you to sleep again, but you fought with yourself to remain awake and bask in the comfort Billy was giving you.

Little pecks that held such a complex reality behind them; such a vast spectrum of emotions all held in those tiny signs of undeniable love that he so kindly laid on every inch of skin he could find in his reach.

You turned slightly, enough to look at him in the eyes. Still half asleep, he stared back at you only to resume his actions and placed a few more lazy kisses on your face.

You scrunched your nose at that, something he found absolutely adorable and that he longed to see every day, every morning if he could. Something he swore to himself he would see everyday.

You pressed one deep kiss on his lips, letting yourself linger for slightly longer than necessary, not that any of you minded.

You had to do things, wake up, get ready, go outside. He had to do things, wake up, get ready, go outside. But you forgot all about that as he hugged you a little tighter, a little closer.

You wouldn't have left that bed that morning, not if you could have helped it.
