howdy! my name is charles. i'm 30. he/him pronouns. this is my multimuse blog.

i've done many rounds on tumblr, decided i was done, and was (as the prophecy declares) dragged back by friends. so this blog is going to be extremely private. i promise it's nothing personal if i don't follow back or don't interact: i'm tired and have a more than full time job and made this blog mostly to write with my friends.

Half Sunken Ship // Wyatt Oleff imagine

I don’t remember the exact request for this one, but I hope this somewhat satisfies you xx @dauntless-initiate-hola

Summary: Reader and Nic are best friends and Wyatt catches them horsing around. He thinks that they’re something going on between them.

Word count: 1535

I didn’t proof read this enough so there might be some mistakes xx

Wyatt has liked Y/N since they started filming IT. She gave off a happy vibe. Happiness radiated off of her, Wyatt could be having the most shitty day, but just her mere presence can change his mood so quick. Y/N was so easy to talk to and she was a great listener. She was bright and bubbly and she was effortlessly beautiful. He loved the way Y/N carried herself with dignity, class, and grace. Wyatt has never met a girl so perfect. Y/N has liked Wyatt since they started filming IT. She liked how mysterious he can be and she loved his unique humor. Wyatt was the kind of guy you would want in your life forever. He cares so much about his friends which Y/N found very attractive. Not to mention his smartness, the boy was brilliant in academics that it sometimes blew her mind away. Wyatt was also the biggest gentleman around. He would sometimes give Y/N his sweater just because she looked cold, he held doors for her and everyone, and whenever they were out and about he always insisted to pay for things. Y/N has never met a boy so perfect.

You and your best friend Nic relaxed inside your trailer after filming a long and tiring scene. Nic still had his mullet extensions on and you still had fake blood all over your head. You two were too tired to even clean yourselves up. You and Nic sat on a loveseat together just talking about the scene you two just filmed which involved Henry pushing your character in the barrens causing your character to fall and hit their head on the rocks.

“I’m sorry for pushing you by the way, and also sorry for calling you a slut. Henry is such an ass.” Nic said with an eyeroll, it was funny how Nic hated Henry even though he was playing him.

“It’s alright, Nic. It’s just a movie.” You said with a little laugh. Nic always apologized for the things his character did after filming which you found adorable. “Yeah I know, but still, I feel really bad.” Nic replied followed by a tired yawn, “I’m glad we’re done for the day, that scene was tiring. How many takes did it take to film that one scene?” “Like... I think twenty takes? I kept falling the wrong way and you always hesitated to push me.” You said followed by a yawn also. “I was scared that if I push you too hard, you’d actually fall and hit your head on the rocks.” Nic said worriedly as he placed his hand on your hand. He looked at you apologetically, he felt awful for doing what he did to his best friend even if it is just acting. “Nic, stop worrying about it, you were just doing your job okay?” Nic opened his mouth to say something, but you quickly covered his mouth with your hand. “Nicholas Hamilton! Stop!” “Okay, okay I’ll stop.” “Good.” You say as you pinched his cheeks jokingly, he quickly swats your hand away. “We should get cleaned up, your mullet scares me.” “Shut up you love my mullet.” “No I don’t it’s disgusting, you look like Henry Bowers.” “I am Henry Bowers.” Nic tackles you which caused both of you to fall off the loveseat in fits of giggles. Suddenly the door flings open, you and Nic were too busy tickling each other to notice that your trailer door open. Wyatt stood by the door watching you and Nic tickle each other. Him watching you and Nic together made his chest hurt just a tiny bit. He hated to admit it, but he was always jealous of how close you and Nic are. Wyatt secretly wished that you and him were like that. Sure you and Wyatt were close, but he wasn’t your best friend. Nic was your best friend. You didn’t want Wyatt to be just your best friend anyway, you wanted to have something more with him. You wanted to be with him even though it was impossible, at least to you. Little did you know, Wyatt felt the same way. Wyatt couldn’t stand the sight anymore so out of anger and jealousy, he slams your trailer door shut. You and Nic jumped at the sound of your door slamming shut. “Who was that?” Nic said as he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. You quickly got up and thought about who it was when suddenly something in your brain clicked. “It was Wyatt.” You said in horror, you forgot that Wyatt was supposed to come to your trailer to rehearse a scene with you. You could only imagine what kind thoughts ran through his mind when he saw you and Nic. “Oh shit... He probably thinks there’s something going on between you and I.... Shit Y/N that’ll mess up your chances with him.” Nic ran his hand through his hair and his face paled. Nic was the first person you told about your crush on Wyatt and ever since you told him, he’s been helping you drop hints on Wyatt. “Shit Y/N I ruined our plan fuck! My ship is ruined!” Nic panicked. You and Nic looked at each other in horror, you knew you two had to come up with a plan. “You know what Y/N, it’s now or never now. This is a chance to tell him how you feel! C’mon trust me, it’ll work!” Nic exclaimed as he paced around the room thinking.

“Um hell no! What if...What if he um-”

“You can’t even think of a bad outcome so with that said, do it! Come on Y/N! Please?” Nic whined like a kid and gave you his attempt of puppy dog eyes.

“I’ll do it if you stop looking at me like that.” You said with an eyeroll.

“Okay, okay. Stopping.”

You slowly got up from the floor. With every move you contemplated if what you were about to do was a good idea. You had second thoughts about this decision, but Nic was right. This was now or never. As soon as you were by your door, Nic practically pushes you out of your trailer.

“Make my half sunken ship sail again.” Nic said while wiping a nonexistent tear on his eye.

You took a deep breath and walked to Wyatt’s trailer, his trailer wasn’t far from yours so the walk was fairly short. Your hand shakily reaches for the door handle, your heart was beating so fast that it felt like it was going to burst out of you. You mustered up all the courage inside of you to knock on his door.

“Who is it?” Said Wyatt from the inside of his trailer, it was evident in his voice that he was upset.

“Its...Its me… Y/N… Can we um… talk maybe?” Your voice trembled a little as you spoke.

“About?” Wyatt replied, his voice almost monotone.

“About what you saw.” You spoke quietly, almost in whisper.

“I get it Y/N, you like Nic. What is there to talk about?” Wyatt sassed, clearly agitated.

“No I don’t like him that way, I like him as a friend yes, but-”

“Just leave.”

“Can you fucking hear me out for a second?” You said while running your hand through your hair frustratedly. You didn’t even notice a tear escaping your eye. Suddenly, you weren’t scared anymore, it was almost as if your brain flicked a switch. Instead of being scared, you were hurt and frustrated, the only thing you wanted right now was for Wyatt to hear you out.

“A second passed, you can leave.”

As soon as Wyatt said those words, buckets of tears escaped from your eyes. Your chest was hurting and all you wanted to do was to go back to your trailer and cry your eyes out, but you didn’t. You were persistent and without thinking, you reached for Wyatt’s door and opened it. Wyatt stood in front of you dazed, it took him a few seconds before he registered what was going on.

“You’re such a dick you know that?” You said as your voice trembled, you were rapidly trying to wipe your tears away but it continued to fall.

“Y/N I’m so sorry I was so angry and jealous… and oh my gosh Y/N you’re right, I am an asshole.” Wyatt rambled as he reached for your face to wipe your tears away. “Y/N, I’m so sorr-”

Without thinking about the consequences, you tiptoed and kissed Wyatt’s lips to shut him up. Wyatt froze for a few seconds before kissing you back, he couldn’t believe that the girl he has been crushing for months now was kissing him. It felt like a dream.

Simultaneously, you two pulled away from each other both blushing to the extreme. Both of your hearts beat loudly and the world was quiet. You could almost hear your heartbeats beat as one.

“I like you, asshole.” You blurted out which made Wyatt smile.

“I like you more.” Wyatt confessed as he pulled you in for a hug.

Nic’s ship officially sailed that day.
