You and Yami were on a shared mission together up in the mountains to set bandits in a village in there place by putting them to jail. The trip up was fairly easy due to Yami’s broom. by the time You and Yami got there, it looked like it was a used battlefield because everything was in ruins. the houses burnt down and collasped apoun themselfs, the pens open with no cattle, small fires in the houses and crying childern becing comforted by their bruised mothers. 

“what the hell happened?” Yami mumbled underneath his breath but loud enough for you to pick it up. “bandits, evil bastards tore this place apart, thats what happened” You commented laced in sarcasm. Yami approached one of the weeping mothers with caution. “Ladie, i know your village got attacked and all that but where did you last see the scum bastards” He questioned the ladie as he bent down to her height. “They went..north i believe in the woods!” The weeping mother croaked through sobs as she greifed over her state.

“Well thats great..” Yami sighed with annoyance as he stood back up. He walked back to you. “Looks like we are gonna have to spilt up to look for the bandits, if you need backup press this device.” He suggested as he gave you a button with would attach to your belt. “got it..ill take the east side of the surrounding area. You will take the west side” i commanded. “since when were you the captain?” “Shut your trap and get this bastards in jail already” i commented as we went out seperate ways. this village was placed on a flat plateau so it was, for the majority flat but fulled to the brim with woods. whole area just woods

The only things you could really hear was the sound of leaves crunching underneath you and birds chirping. the sun was still rising so the rays of light shining through the trees made it look like you were in nature heaven. it was quickly ruined through the sound of a twig snapping that wasn’t done by you. You quickly snap you head, hand on your grimore.Soon, there was 1...3...5..6.7 twigs snapping and loud footsteps surrounding you. 

“shit..” you quickly mumbled underneath your breath. you take your grimore out and it hovers infrount of you like a tiny fairy. Suddenly, magic was being tossed at you, lucky enough you dodged them and sent a wave of magic revealing their postions, there was alot of bandits. too many in fact. You pressed the button that Yami had given you for backup. there was clearing up ahead that you knew that you could jump off. what a stuipd thought right? not when you have a captain has your lover. 

sure he might be busy but its fun. you sent out more attacks as you ran uphead. The last trees of the forest clearing as you got out of the forest was waking up to a new life but was shortlived as you saw your wounderful prick of a lover on his broom with his sword out down below. You called out to him and he rose his broom higher and caught you as you just went below the bandits eyelevel. He sent out a wave of magic through his sword to the bandits that caused them to be knocked down. 

“thanks hun” You thanked him with a kiss on his cheek. “of course, anything if it means im your knight in shining iron”

cw: none, this is fluff, yami calls reader ‘mama’, pregnant!reader

poor asta. all he wanted was to wish you good morning as he passed by on his way to clean the hideout. and you appreciated it, really, you did. your squad was a mess and asta was an angel to clean the place everyday, but at the moment you didn’t want to see anyone’s face. the most beautiful feeling in the world was waking up feeling recharged after a good night’s sleep on your back. but you can’t do that when you’re eight months pregnant, and the fact that you can only get a good night’s sleep when you’re on your back is just the cherry on top.

you guessed the other mages sensed the bloodthirst in your mana as soon as you woke up and stayed away from you. but asta, with no magic or tact, started speaking to you the moment he laid eyes on you.

it really wasn’t your fault when you grabbed a fistful of his hair in a rage. and your teeth grinding did nothing to help the headache already caused by the boy’s screeching. his saving grace came in the form of a booming laugh.

normally, the sound of yami’s voice instantly relaxed you, even if he was yelling (which was most of the time), but now it just made you redirect your anger to the very cause of your discomfort. you dropped asta and turned to the other man.

“you!” it came out as a growl, but yami kept his smile.

“beat it, brat, go eat something.” he nodded towards asta before looking at you. “i’ll handle my girl.”

you were too distracted to see asta scamper off, but all you cared about was wiping the smirk off of your man’s face. your wobble probably wasn’t as menacing as you thought it was, but it got you right up in front of him so you could start spitting words at him.

“how dare you do this to me?!” you cried, he just put his hands on your hips.

you start trying to pound on his chest, but your exhaustion just made you tear up and your punches too weak to pack enough weight. “how could you do this to me?”

sukehiro used a soft voice, not one meant for anyone else to hear as he turned you around and pressed your back to him. “i know, baby, let me help.”

he brought his arms underneath your belly and used his strength to lift it gently.

you nearly fainted. the instant relief that flowed through you at the lose of weight had your eyes fluttering shut and your head falling back to rest on his chest. your knees almost buckled.

“that better, mama?” you could hear the laughter in his voice but you didn’t care—you were on cloud nine.

you hummed instead.

“sorry, baby.” you said and felt him vibrate with a chuckle.

“how ‘bout we go back to bed and try sleeping again?” he coaxed you.

another hum just escaped you, relaxing into his arms and swearing that you could fall asleep just like that.

You wondered how you had managed to get to the base without falling along the way due to exhaustion. Your mana was extinct as was your energy, all you wanted to do at that moment was pass out on your soft mattress and sleep for the whole week but it seems that you had other plans before going to sleep.

You saw Yami at the counter and wanted to kill him after he sent you on a mission that almost cost you your life.

"There you are, you scoundrel !" You said, approaching the counter. "You were drinking and smoking while I was there dying, weren't you?"

"Who do you think you're talking to?" He looked at you with a raised eyebrow and an unfriendly expression on his face, as if he wanted to intimidate you but you were too mad to be afraid

"With my stupid captain, Yami Sukehiro" You said, sitting next to him and he looked at you for a long moment in silence, the cigarette smoke leaving his lips after he took a long sigh. He undoubtedly liked your defiant air when you dared to speak like that, strong women were his type and he was definitely going to play that game.

"Your tongue is very sharp tonight, I see" He slightly curved his lips upwards

"I thought you liked tough girls with sharp tongues. What's the problem now? Can't you handle them?" You teased and he closed his eyes with another long sigh

"Here, drink" He said, extending the large mug of beer to you

"You didn’t answer my question"

"Drink" He insisted and since you knew he was stubborn, you decided to do what he said

There was no one else there, you thought it was strange since they would also like to be there drinking or breaking everything but maybe they were already asleep. It was late and you were supposed to be sleeping too but since your dear captain was there, you weren't just going to turn your back on him. He enjoyed your company even if you were mad at him and you also couldn't ignore him when he was offering you drinks and company too.

Anyone who didn't know him at that moment would think he was a calm person, with half-closed eyes, a lit cigarette in the corner of his mouth, some strands of his black hair falling over his face making him even more attractive and an expressionless face. However, he was not someone to mess with and everyone there knew it. You also knew and that's why you pushed his buttons until he lost his patience, which was little and led him to do crazy things. He also did the same to you, teasing you every day until you went crazy. Deep down you knew he has a tender heart when it comes to you, even if he teases you twenty-four hours, even if he gives you more difficult training because he believes in you and your abilities and that you can surpass your limits, even though he was a stubborn and short-tempered at times, you loved him with all his flaws. You knew that inside his little heart was you and he himself admitted that to you a lot of times.

You placed the empty mug on the table and looked at him, who still seemed focused on a random corner of the room.

"I finished drinking, are you going to answer me now?" You said, looking at him

"Drink another one"He replied, taking a drag on his cigarette, still without looking at you

"Yami, are you testing my patience ?" You raised an eyebrow and tilted your head slightly to the side

"You're the one testing my patience, princess. Did the mission go well or do I need to go in there and take out the other guy for you?”

"No, I already did what had to be done, I even broke the sword you gave me last week"

"You broke what?" He looked at you as you placed the remaining part of the sword on the table. "Honey, I hadn't even finished paying, in fact, I didn't even pay mine, let alone yours"

“Well, Yami, it looks like you're going to have to start saving more money instead of betting everything on gambling like you always do, even with your clothes” You looked away in the last words, remembering when he came back from long nights completely naked after having bet them on gambling

“So what? My nudity is nothing new to others... and not to you either" He gave a little smile and you felt a slight blush on your cheeks."Now, regarding the sword, leave it to me. I'll see if I can find some money to pay this shit for the next hundred years"

"And see if the next one is of quality"

"What did you say, Yami?" You looked at him with a threatening look

"Nothing" He said, raising hands in a kind of surrender

"See? You don't even have the balls to repeat what you said to my face, it just proves that you can't handle a strong woman like me" You teased and got up from the bench but he grabbed your arm turning you towards him

"Princess, you're making me lose my mind with all that tough personality. Come here" He picked you up and put you on his shoulder so easily and quickly that you make you scream at his sudden movement

"Yami, what are you doin--" He slapped your butt as he carried you to his room."Are you punishing me now?”

“And it’s just the beginning, baby" He laughed and entered the bedroom

He threw you on the bed and closed the door, you looked at him as he put out his cigarette and looked you up and down, wondering where he would start.

"Why are you looking at me? I thought you were a man of action"

"Be quiet brat, I'm concentrating" He said as he took off his tattered black cape and shirt.

"Brat? What happened to ‘princess’?"

"They will evolve for worse if you keep talking" He said climbing onto the bed and holding your face in his hand

Yes, it would, you knew it would. The beautiful nicknames he gave in the beginning would be the future dirty talk. "You don't think this will last long, do you?" He chuckled, looking at you and you smiled

"No, but I just need some time for what I'm going to do. Don't worry dear, I'll be gentle with you" You leaned over and placed a kiss on his lips

You knew that he would go along with it because deep down he liked having you on top showing your strength, that turned him on.

You held the waistband of his pants and removed them. You had the beautiful vision of him all naked and with his arms tied above his head and that only made things heat up more. It didn't take Asta long to settle into life at the Black Bulls headquarters. He felt honored to be part of such an incredible group. However, there was a small issue: under the leadership of Captain Yami, there was also a subordinate named [Y/n] who gave off this intimidating aura that shook Asta to his core. Worst than Captain Yami.

After getting used to his new home over the course of several days, the 15-year-old was an early riser, continuing his routine of waking up his captain. Despite having permission to do so, it seems the captain was grumpy each morning. On a certain day, Asta found himself hesitating before knocking on the wooden door, listening to the usual long silence. Summoning his courage, he called out.

"Captain! Sir, it's morning!" Asta persisted, ignoring the hesitation, he knocked repeatedly until the door creaked open. Revealed behind it was the intimidating figure of Yami, who fixed Asta with a nasty glare. The ash-gray-haired boy couldn't help but squeak in fear at the sight of his powerful captain.

"Don't you ever stop with the damn knocking?" Yami's voice boomed with irritation, causing Asta to shrink back slightly, his nerves on edge from the captain's sharp tone.

"I-I'M SORRY, SIR, YOU TOLD ME WAKE YOU-" Asta's words stumbled out in a rush, his voice laced with fear as he bowed profusely in respect. As he lowered his gaze, his eyes caught sight of small bite marks on Yami's neck, causing him to pause in confusion. Were those...? No, it couldn't be. Before he could dwell on his thoughts, he felt Yami's grip tightened around his head, the pain intensifying.

"Hey. Are you listening?" Yami's voice lowered ominously, causing Asta to flinch and yelp. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" Fortunately, his captain showed mercy, releasing his grip on Asta's head. "What are you standing around for? Get back to cleaning," Yami commanded sternly. Forgetting about the mysterious marks, Asta saluted him and obeyed.

"Sir, yes, sir!"

With a burst of energy, he dashed down the hallway, likely waking up others in the process. Yami scratched his neck, an annoyed expression crossing his face. "That damn kid."

"He has a lot of spirit, I can see why you picked him," a groggy voice emanated from inside the room, belonging to a specific [h/c] figure who comfortably nestled into warm sheets, his form practically naked, adorned with marks far worse than Yami's, each one filled with love. The sight of his lover sprawled out like that elicited a hum from the man and savored the moment. With a smile, he closed the door, granting them both some privacy.

"You can say that again, he's a pain in the ass but he's strong," Yami agreed with a small smirk, meeting [Y/n]'s raised eyebrow with a knowing look. Yami walked over to lay beside him, craving his embrace without needing to ask for it. "Stronger than you?"

"No, not really..." Yami trailed off, his attention fully captivated by him. Leaning in, he pressed a soft kiss, reigniting the passion between them that had been interrupted earlier by Asta. Any lingering thoughts vanished as Yami's lips moved against [Y/n]'s soft ones, consuming him with hunger and desire as if it was his last meal. Their bodies entwined, Yami's muscular frame pressing down, his arms encircling his waist as their chests pressed together in a warm embrace, lost in the moment.

Yami's tongue slowly slipped into [Y/n]'s mouth, eliciting a gasp of surprise from the other. His subordinate was enveloped in pure bliss, his mind becoming blank as he surrendered to the sensation of being touched in such a way. As he felt himself sinking back into the mattress, overwhelmed with pleasure, he let out a muffled moan. With a dark chuckle, Yami teasingly drawing blood from [Y/n]'s bottom lip before pulling away. It was a cute sight, seeing his boyfriend breathless and flushed from nothing more than "simple" kisses.

The heated atmosphere shifted when Yami felt a hard tug on his black hair, causing him to wince, [Y/n] clicking his tongue disapprovingly and decided to push Yami off of him in order to breath. "Jeez, lucky for you, I'm into that sort of thi-" he was cut off mid-sentence by a pillow smacking his face, prompting a snicker from [Y/n]. "C'mon, we can't lay here in bed all day."

Yami groaned, but then he playfully pulled him back down onto the bed without using much strength. He lacked the energy to get up and desired to stay in bed a while longer. "I'm the Captain, and I order you to stay here, it's barely morning..." he complained. [Y/n] remained stubborn and didn't listen, a trait that perhaps was one of the reasons Yami fell in love with him in the first place.

Putting on a pair of pants, his subordinate shook his head with a knowing smile.

"As your...husband, I order you to go do your job of being captain." His back facing Yami, he couldn't see the way he paused and widened his eyes slightly in realization from being referred to. The [h/c] left the room without a single word. He on the other hand still had so much to process. Feeling his heart quickening in his chest, he snorted while covering his mouth after leaning back in defeat.

Fue will just pat your head without saying anything whenever you bite him, he thinks it's you asking for his attention. And whatever his lady asks for, he delivers.

William Vangeance

He's strong, but he'll flinch a little when you bite his thighs, it's just his sensitive spot.

He'll still smile his affectionate smile at you and let out a little huff, as though he does not know what to do with you.

He understands it's just your way of showing affection to people you're close with, but it actually hurts sometimes and he'll pinch your cheeks when it does.

"You behave like a mischievous kitten, darling." he'll give you a look of adoration.

One day he bites you back and you yelp a little, pouting at him while looking at the little bite mark he left. He'll plant a kiss back in return. It's now your couple thing.

Nozel Silva

William Vangeance

The one who doesn't let it show.

William won't act like your relationship doesn't exist, but he definitely won't let it interfere or affect work either.

He might subtly be nicer towards you, but it won't be much of a change.

Maybe the occasional soft smile when you do a mission well or pairing you to work with him for smaller things like patrols.

He is a man who believes in balance, which is why even if he might treat you like just another knight during work, he does enjoy spending time with you after everyone's clocked off.

This can be as simple as having you lounge around his office while he finishes up paperwork or calling you to his chambers/going to your room so the two of you can chat and just hang out.

Sometimes when there is a particularly risky mission William might be hesitant to send you to that place, however, this can easily be fixed with a bit of reasoning and promises to be safe.

He definitely doesn't give you promotions or anything based on your relationship with him, but if you are genuinely strong he won't hesitate to do so.

William's also quick to shut down any rumours or snide comments towards you. Anyone in his squad who even thinks about saying you only got in/are at the position you are because the two of you are together should think twice.

Yami Sukehiro

Yami isn't one to change the way he treats you because of your relationship, but he might tweak his behaviour toward you.

He understands that he needs to find a balance between the times he is your partner and when he is your squad captain, however, considering his laidback attitude, this doesn't really change things between you.

He isn't the kind to be overly affectionate or like PDA, but he might be a little kinder to you than the rest.

Like he'll let you use Finral from time to time. Or he'll give you lesser chores than the others.

Yami would also prefer keeping you with him during missions or trips, but if you have a certain team that you like working with he won't force you to be paired with him.

Unlike William, he's more open to letting you go into dangerous situations. It worries him, but as long as he knows you can handle yourself Yami will let you do your job.

However, the down side of this is that when he knows your enemy/task is too risky and you won't be able to handle it, Yami will be very stubborn and not allow you to do it, instead choosing to do it for you.

Yami is a fun captain, which is why you can expect outings and domestic fun with him and the rest of the squad.

Would probably make your room always next to or across from his. The same goes for your seat at the table.

Fuegoleon Vermillion

Unlike the others, Fuegoleon might be more affected by the fact that you are his partner.

It's more so his attitude than his treatment that changes.

While Fuegoleon still treats you as he does his other squad members, his attitude towards you takes a bit of a shift, being more affectionate than he would to anyone else.

His affection is more subtle, things like helping tend to your wounds after a mission or training, holding your hand during patrols, etc.

Fuegoleon also seeks you out more often than he otherwise would, choosing to ask your advice on certain things or just keeping you by his side while he does paperwork.

If you ever bring up the new differences he might get a little distant because he thinks it's a bad thing, but a little conversation can change that.

Overall, Fuegoleon isn't shy to show the world that the two of you are together.

Nozel Silva

He's the type to not let your relationship affect your roles in the squad, making it seem like nothing has changed between the two of you.

However, Nozel can completely flip if and when you get hurt, in an argument, or just overall any situation that makes him feel like you need his assistance.

He won't hesitate to let people know that you are his partner. It's not that he doesn't want your relationship to be public or anything, but just that he has moments where he's your squad captain and moments where he's your partner.

Nozel can be stricter about this than the others, however, he also has his soft moments.

Things like dropping off bouquets in your room after particularly hard missions, holding your hand in crowds or whenever he feels a problem arise, and even giving you good morning and goodbye kisses on your forehead or cheek.

He is more than happy to use his siblings to help the two of you get some alone time between the day, and often makes it a habit to check in on you at least once every day.

At first, it might seem like Nozel is embarrassed by your relationship or wants to hide it, but he's actually too oblivious romantically to realise it comes off as that way.

Conversation is key with him.

Ever since the spade invasion, William has been in a spiral lately for the past month. He’s been nervous and spacing out, and not acting like himself. Not all of his thoughts are about how he was abducted, though. William has been mostly thinking about what Yami said to him after they were both freed from captivity.

William wakes up the next morning, tired with tear stains on his face from crying. He decides it’s time to ask Yami whether he hates him or not.

William gets out of bed and gets dressed into his usual clothes, noticing his headache from stress and tiredness. His heart aches, as well, and he feels butterflies in his stomach. William doesn’t think anything of it, not even wondering what these feelings mean. He assumes they’re from him being nervous and sad.

William walks out of his squad base, feeling cold from how anxious he feels about the thought of confronting Yami. His vice captain notices his fidgeting.

“Captain, are you alright? You seem troubled,” Yuno asks, noticing how William keeps looking at the floor.

“I’m alright, Yuno,” William answers quickly as he walks out the door of the base. His hands continue to tremble as he makes his way over to the Black Bulls squad base, almost unable to think about anything else except for how worried he is.

William knocks on the door, wondering if he should even do this at all, if he’s going to make himself look like a fool. Asta answers, and immediately gasps when he sees who is at the door.

“U-Um, Captain William, what are you- I mean- I- hi!” Asta stammers, trying to compose himself after getting a surprise visit from the captain of the golden dawn. Asta’s shock is interrupted when Yami pushes him aside.

“Oh, hey there Goldie, I wasn’t expecting ya,” he chuckles. William can hardly look up at the man in front of him.

“Hey, Yami… can we maybe go somewhere else to talk? Sorry for my selfish request,” William asks.

“Alright, I guess, I’ve got nothing better to do,” Yami sighs. They make their way to a calmer place. Yami looks up at William after a few moments.

“So, what was it that you needed to talk to me about?” Yami asks, wondering what he has to ask him so suddenly, and why he needs to do it in private. William inhales deeply.

“So… I feel like… you still are upset at me about what happened before… I feel as if you hate me…” he admits. Yami is surprised that he feels this way.

“Why do you feel like this suddenly? Did I do something?” he asks, slightly worried that he upset him.

“Well… after what happened with the elves… also, after I gave you that sword instead of fighting with you…” William admits, still fidgeting.

“Well, the situation still ended well, so you didn't need to intervene,” Yami recalls. William still can't look at him, he still feels paranoid that he made too many mistakes.

“Well… I feel as if I could have helped the incident end in a better way if I helped… I still feel like I’m a failure, that I made you upset,” William trembles, continuing to vent to Yami.

“I-I worry that you don't like me, that you d-don't trust me, I’ve made so many mistakes, you don't want anything to do with me, y-you–” he stammers with tears in his eyes, but is interrupted by something unexpected.

Yami kisses William on the lips to quiet him down. His face turns a deep shade of red as Yami places a hand on his cheek. William covers Yami’s hand with his as he kisses back. He wonders what this new feeling is, nervous, but comforted. Yami wraps his other arm around William, pulling him closer. After a few moments, he pulls away.

“I already said we're even, Goldie, I don't know why you're so worried,” Yami whispers to him.

“I-I love you,” William almost blurts out, surprised and dazed. Yami lets out a chuckle in response.

“Love you too, Will,” he picks up William, holding him in his arms.

“U-Um, Yami, what are you-?” William asks, his voice trailing off as Yami cradles him in his arms.

“I just thought you needed some convincing that it's okay,” Yami laughs as he brings William to the wall. He presses him to the wall, kissing him on the lips once again.

“We're more than even, Goldie,” Yami chuckles to him before kissing him again. He kisses William and takes breaks to reassure him.

“You're adorable, William, why would I hate you?” Yami asks him, starting to show his soft side.

“Uh, I don't kno–” William starts before getting interrupted with more affection. He doesn't mind the way Yami's stubble scratches him a little as he kisses him. Yami loves the way William looks at him while he shows him love.

He can tell William hasn't had something like this done to him before. That makes Yami love him even more intensely.

He presses his lover into the wall more, making sure not to hurt him as he continues kissing him. William is out of breath at this point, but he doesn't mind. He realizes that this feeling he's been experiencing is love, and he isn't complaining. Yami finally pulls away from the kiss, both of them trying to catch their breath.

“T-Thank you…” William pants as Yami lets go of him.

“No problem, Goldie. How about we go out for tea sometime?” Yami asks, petting William’s blond hair.

“That sounds nice…” he smiles up at him. Yami walks off and hops on his broom, making his way back to his squad base. After a few minutes of processing what just happened, William heads back to his base as well.

He's still processing what Yami said to him while he walks to his room. William looks out the window, thinking about how Yami kissed him, how he actually loves him. It all feels like a dream, like it isn't real. But he knows that it is, and he's overjoyed.

William feels relieved that he found out that Yami truly loves him, and that the feelings he's been experiencing is love. That heartache and part of that nervous feeling all makes sense to him now.

He goes to sleep that night, knowing that there's nothing wrong with him, that Yami isn't upset with him in the slightest. William finally found peace in his emotions.

He likes to train with you, he will ask you not to hold back against him and come with everything. He will probably only bring you home at the end of the day so you can recover from the whole day training.

He will ask all the members of the Black Bulls to take care of you when you arrive from a long mission or when he leaves and you stay at the base.

No one touches you anywhere because he always has an arm around your waist or shoulders and a deadly glare in the direction of those who even try to get close to you.

The katana is his second girlfriend and he always makes sure to clean and sharpen it. You can't help but laugh to yourself when you see him saying something to it as if it was a person.
