After all the research, it became clear that Bottega Veneta needs to focus on improving its social media presence. As of January 5, 2021, Bottega Veneta deleted all social media accounts except for their YouTube channel.
Since they kept YouTube channel, I see an opportunity to develop it and create more content on that platform. I believe that by creating more videos on YouTube, Bottega Veneta will boost its relevance and attract new customers.
In order to answer the question I am raising in this presentation, I would like to propose a fashion film. Bottega Veneta does not have any fashion films on their YouTube channel and it has been awhile since they created one.
Since Bottega Veneta has deleted its social media accounts I have been keeping up with the brand through this account which is inspired by Bottega Veneta.
I am sharing the latest updates that have been done since last time I posted their feed.
My inspiration for a ‘wake up’ scene for my fashion film came from this music video. I loved the way the main character in the video was portrayed waking up. It is very gentle and beautiful - I want to set the same mood for my ‘wake up’ scene.
Recently, I discovered this film and completely fell in love with the editing, execution and music. I feel like my film idea is similar to this film, therefore, I use ‘Secret Garden’ as inspiration for my film post production. I enjoy watching this film very much because it is very dynamic and scenes change as the song goes (some clips are put in slow motion while others flip quickly) this adds more excitement to it. Due to this the film is not boring and seems very interesting. Every time I watch it I see something new which I didn't see before. This makes it even more exciting. I want to use this strategy for my film as well.
