not to be weird but i would actually buy some of them- i like making polymer clay creatures and i’m trying to figure out how to make people
not to mention, your style is very cool
Thanks!
It's not weird at all I'm glad you like them.
Good luck with learning to make people, I found learning to make realistic people first helps a lot when you are trying to simplify/stylise them
I honestly just don't know how set up some way to sell them that isn't New Zealand only, (is there a overseas equivalent to Trademe?) but I should really look into it.

i love your style for making people! it’s so cool and the faces look human
everytime i try to make a person their face looks really derpy or like something is deeply horribly wrong with them.
Thank you so much!
I have had a lot of practice, my first faces looked very weird

what are the little needles in your mini people for?
Do you mean the wires that stick out of their heads?
They're for strength, because the neck is the weakest point of a mini person, and so they can hang off things to display them.
Most of the figures I make can't stand up on their own. And also just out of habit because some of first figures I made were for Christmas decorations

This was an idea I came up with while doing Kanji copy work, and the character '悪' (warui) in the Kanji dictionary I've been using just comes with a whole lot of example words, all of which are negative. Which was when I was like, "I can so imagine Atsushi quoting this at Akutagawa"
Also one of the pronunciations is 'Aku' which while a different Kanji from the one used in the name 'Akutagawa Ryuunosuke', is still kind of funny. Hence 'malice' being pronounced as 'aku-i' and 'evil deed' as 'aku-ji'
Didn't really know how to draw Rashoumon, but I ended up going with dragon heads. Cause I feel like I've heard it described similar to dragons somewhere, and it was fun.
Also, kinda random but-
Writing Atsushi and Akutagawa shouting at each other is hilarious.
:D

Fun collaboration with @bookdragonwrites 🫵💀 you're a bad influence on me. Never mind, I think I'm a bad influence on you. Either way, we have fun together!
(Look for their version. They should definitely win our little competition)
